Subject: Lady Jean Peterson Update

Some time ago I wrote to apologise that the chapters being sent in would
become somewhat erratic due to my husbands cancer of the pancreas and since
then I have been overwhelmed by the response from what turned out to be
many readers of my story and once again I would like to thank you for your
kind words of support and encouragement to both myself and my lovely Kevin.

The last chapter to be sent in was 24 but I am afraid I have not been able
to touch 25 for some weeks. You know what's coming.

It is with deep sadness I have to inform you that Kevin's life is coming to
an end and has been given just a few mouths left with me.

Writing Lady Jean has been a joy and I was able to divert my thoughts from
the situation for a few hours, but I have not been able to return to her
for obvious reasons.

As each email came in I read them out to Kevin who was more than happy that
so many people from all over the world were thinking of him and myself.

As someone once said. "I will be back."
