Chapter 22 Book 2 part 3 The next few days dragged, we heard stories of plans being made, but with no official comment from the senate council. A senior representative from the American survivors had come to see Levert as he had been made Emissary of Lokite to deal with Human matters. "Come in, sit down," he said to the gentleman walking in. "Thank you, sir, my name is Logan Cofax" he said taking a seat "I was a congressman back on Earth," he added "So Logan if you don't mind me asking, who placed you in the position to speak for your people?" Levert asked. "Sir, the ship carrying the Government of the United States did not make it off of Earth, or at least it did not join the fleet" he added. "And I being from an official point of view was nominated to speak for the Americans that survived " he went on. "So how can I help you, Mr Cofax?" he asked. "Your accommodation is satisfactory yes?" Levert enquired. " Yes, Sir, but we want to know what happens next," he asked. "In what context?" Levert replied. "Sir, we are all workers, not children waiting to be fed" he replied. "Oh, I see," Levert replied. "Logan, we have to assess you all, first, and we want to see what skills are required, we intend on re-locating most of Earth's people here on Lokite, and some on Bokite. Trust me, Logan, we will be asking much of you," Levert replied but not yet informing the representative of the plot to control them, by a senior member of his government. "Logan, tell me, have any of your people started acting strangely?" Levert asked in off the cuff remark. "What way, what do you meant exactly?" he replied. "You know, strange land, different place," Levert replied. "I mean, yeah, some are acting differently, well from what people I know, I mean..." he added. "And you?" Levert asked. "Just tired if I'm honest," Logan Cofax replied. Levert had him checked over by his own physicians, and confirmed that a control chip was indeed implanted within his brain. But yet to be activated. His Physicians removed it, by transport and sterilisation, he was not aware that it had happened. But this was a concern to Levert, and he relayed this information to Major Barnes and Kolmar. Later that day... "Hey babe," I said, waking Craig from a late afternoon nap. "Hey yourself," he replied, pulling me down into a kiss. "Food's on the table," I replied. "Yeah, I can smell it," he said. "Well, we will see how your Mom cooks with new ingredients," he sniggered out. "Dannet tastes like chicken," I laughed out. "Yeah, it does, and what you call vegetables we call Stent, but they taste like nothing you have ever had. It's like Potatoes and carrots, but they taste so much more," he added. "The sauce is mouth-watering," he went on, as we headed down to the meal my mother had prepared. "Good afternoon, Craig" my dad said, as we walked into the room, the accommodation that had been provided was okay, 3 bedrooms and a dining room stroke living room, the shower room was, let's say, different to what we were used to. "Thank you, Major, hope you and Mrs Barnes are well," he said politely taking a seat. "Yes son, we are very well, despite the uncertainty," My dad replied, still concerned about the implants. "Sir, I am sure my Father will get to the bottom of it," Craig said, but not convincing anyone, especially me, as I could sense his discomfort. We ate our meal, and yeah, it was different but good different. We talked about the experiences we had endured, not all, but some. After all, parents do not need to know everything. The amazing sex we were experiencing was getting more intense the memories shared from me to him and vice versa were getting more vivid in clarity. "Okay, I promised my dad we would be over by 6pm" Craig added, strange for him to use Earth time, instead of his own world's time system, which, to be totally honest, baffled the hell out of me. "I want to ask him about the possibility that Bobby and I could go visit Judak soon" he added. my father looked at my mother with what I could detect was concern. "Is that wise, at the moment, son?" he said looking at me. "I don't know, Dad, it's just... Well, I hope this implant thing can be sorted out, soon, I think Craig is missing his friend and he already lost his best friend and brother," I replied, out of earshot of Craig. "Ready?" Craig asked, after talking to my Mother. "Yeah, see you later on, Mom, Dad," I replied, walking out of the door. "Why didn't we just transport?" I enquired. "Because I wanted to walk with you, if that's okay" he replied. "Perfectly," I responded, linking his arm in mine. We walked down by the shore, looking out to sea, I had yet to see the vista at night, the two moons cascading a shine from 2 directions it looked bizarre. "Keep watching the sea, we have something similar to dolphins and they are luminous," he added, still holding my arm. And as I watched the sea, a creature jumped into the air landing with a splash, it was shining in the moonlight glowing a green blue hue. "Shit, how big was that thing?" I said out loud. "It weighs about, in your weight system, around a ton," he replied. "What else is out there, I never even thought about animals or creatures, insects and the like," I said, sounding somewhat curious. "Well, we don't have snakes, or what you would call spiders, well, not eight legged, anyway," he sniggered, sensing my own discomfort. "What do you mean, not eight legged, anyway?" I asked. "We have a spider of sorts, but it only has six legs and is the size of a Tortoise, a giant one, that is," he informed me. "But they only come out at night, and in winter," he added. "Okay, home, now," I replied, to his enjoyment. "We need a lesson on indigenous species as soon as possible, poisonous and non-poisonous critters," I informed him with, no chance of mistaking my meaning. We arrived back at Craig's parents' home and entered and walked into a rather heated discussion with Levert and Kolmar. "Look we were not aware of agents on Earth, believe me old friend if I had known about this deception I would have put a stop to it" Kolmar answering a question posed by Levert. "Dad, what is going on, now?" Craig asked. "Lies.Lies and more lies," Levert replied. "Litral had agents aboard the science ship, he also, as we were sent to learn what we could, his agents were doing the very same," Levert replied to Craig. "To what end?" I asked. "Seems like Litral need's an army to go against the Krile, or that was his plan, so he needed an army of Humans to fight, so his agents started the little accident, shall we say," Levert added. "You mean the killing of our people, we blasted Korea and China as a response?" Craig asked. "Seems like our agents were responsible for the killing and we reacted?" Kolmar added. "So how do we know this, now?" I asked. "One of his agents is not happy with the direction Litral is heading," Kolmar replied. "His agents set off the weapons from Korea aimed at the US and Russia," Kolmar said with scorn in his words. "Bobby, I am so sorry," He said looking at me. "We seemed to have destroyed your world," he added angrily. "Levert, you did no such thing, this Litral is responsible for its destruction, and billions of lives, my fellow human lives," I replied as it had dawned on me what this person of influence had committed. "We need to have this person give us evidence," I said. "And present it to the Senate council," I added. "Won't make any difference," Kolmar replied. "He is the supreme Prefect; his word is law," Kolmar added. "There must be a way to stop him, isn't there?" I asked. "There is, but we need help," Kolmar added. "Okay, what?" Levert replied. "He is not the one that should be holding that position, his brother is," Kolmar added. "So why isn't he?" I asked. "Nobody knows where he is, or even if he is alive," Levert replied. "So we need to find him, do we know what he looks like, do we know his name?" asked Craig. "His name is Dallam, Dallam of Sotta," Levert added. "Sotta?" I asked. "It is the original name of our city," Craig replied. "Okay, do we know why he never took up his place on the council?" I asked, looking at Levert. "When the Krile first attacked Lokite, his father was killed, and Dallam mourned his death, so far, what we have learned is that he became reclusive," added Kolmar. "He may have changed his name, to stay hidden, and now we know for a fact that Litral plans on getting revenge on the Krile, using humans as his army, we have over 300 ships armed and equipped, and he intends to use them," Kolmar replied. "And how has he gotten such an arsenal together?" Levert asked. "While you were on Earth, his plans flew into action, he plans to destroy the Krile once and for all," Kolmar added. "Okay, we need to find Dallam," I said, and just hoped he would help us, not seek vengeance like his brother. Meanwhile back at the Senate... "Okay where do we stand on the chip?" Litral asked his commander "It's ready, we have tested it on several humans, and they work perfectly. But sir, some have been removed," The commander replied. "Levert?" he asked. "Yes sir, we interrogated one of his physicians, and he confirmed that Levert had instructed his team to remove the ones from his Friend, and his son's Ro-Lok," He added. "I will see to Levert; he is getting too curious for his own good," Litral replied. "And commander, it's time to remove a problem of mine and the sooner the better. "Sir?" he replied. "Find Dallam and kill him, I do not need him showing up and ruining my father's and my family's revenge," Litral added. "But, sir, he has not been seen in over 22 years, is he still alive?" The commander asked. "That is what we need to find out, and solve, do you need further clarification of my order, commander?" he said with scorn. "No, sir, loud and perfectly clear," the commander replied and left the room. "Dr Littvat, have you found a way to find the holy ones, yet, I cannot launch until they have been neutralised," he asked the little man number crunching at his console. "Sir, they give off Talla rays when the exert energy, but from what we have learned, they don't use much perhaps once a week at most," Littvat replied. "Find them, Doctor, or die for your incompetence," he said with menace as he spoke. Back at Levert's home. Kolmar had left and the boys were sat in the den. Levert had retired to bed and the boys were discussing their plan to find Dallam. "You think we can find him, Craig," I asked. "We have to, or again, millions will die for an act of revenge," He replied. "Okay, we need to get some sleep, and I will contact the one person I know that can help us find him," he added, kissing my forehead. "Will your brother help?" I asked. "We will find out, won't we?" Craig replied, holding out his hand to take me to our bedroom. To be continued... "And so it continues...hope you are sticking with me on this story.
