... I went home that night and wanted to ask Jaden again about James. And
find out why he hadn't approved if anyone I was with.
I got to our place and of course he wasn't home. He was out as usual.
Leaving a message that he was meeting up with someone.

by seeing him. I mean after the few instances of our crossing paths in
high school which were never pleasant. I was surprised when he seemed
happy to see me.

"Wow man" he huffed
"What have you been up to since high school?"

Jaden regarded him with an eye I figured was lust. Even back then he was
