I literally ripped off my shirt to show him my bruised body and the burn marks from the taser. I continued to yell, "Jason has similar scars all over his body. What Jason experienced from the hands of your brothers was far worse than what you see on me. So you sure as hell should not expect to receive any help from us." The national president said in a calm voice, "I am not here to ask for your help. I am here to offer our help and to ask if you would be willing to share your life story with us in detail so we can educate our members. Our hope for the future is to weed out the kind of people who did this to you so that it will never happen again. We will pay you for your time when you share your life story and also cover any and all medical and physiological services you and Jason need or want. And we will reimburse you guys for any property that was damaged." Our faces were just inches apart when Riley handed me a new shirt. I sat down to put the shirt on and Riley spoke, "When do we need to give you an answer?" We were a little shocked at his answer. "Not until early next year. We want this project to be ready to use for the fall semester." Riley told him, "Mail us a written proposal and we will discuss it with our family." He agreed. The president of the local chapter on campus apologized to us and told us that if we ever need anything to contact him. After they left we finished eating and took some time to reflect on what had just happened. Then we cleaned up and packed for the trip home. We were excited about being able to attend the Thanksgiving game. Chapter 8 -- Thanksgiving - Devon's Point of View: After we finished with packing up our stuff for the trip back home there was another knock on the door. We all looked at each other and I said, "Now who?" When we answered the door we found Jefferson, a young lady and two guys from university maintenance. I invited Jefferson and the young lady in and asked the guys from maintenance what we could do for them. They told us, "We are replacing your door and installing an electronic door lock. You need to tell us want you to use for your personal code or PIN number to unlock your door so we can enter your PIN in the system." After they completed the installation they showed us how the new door worked. It was easy. My school ID slipped into the slot and an amber light came on. I then entered my new PIN and a green light came on with a clicking noise and I opened the door. He told us, "The only other ID that will override the lock is from University Police and they will have an electronic record of every time your door is locked and unlocked." We thanked them and they told us to be sure to contact them if we had any trouble with it. Jefferson introduced the young lady that was with him as his sister, Amanda. He said, "She is a lawyer and a public relations person. She called me the other day after hearing about the attacks on the news and asked if I knew anything. After I told her the whole story she wanted to meet you guys. We apologize for interrupting your evening but I thought you needed to hear what she has to say as soon as possible." We did forgive him but only after letting him think we were angry with him. His sister thought it was hilarious. Amanda said, "If you guys are open to it I want to work with you as your lawyer and PR person at no cost to you." We gratefully accepted her offer. Riley and I invited them to meet with us and dad on Saturday after Thanksgiving. They both said that timing would work well with their schedules. We bid them a good holiday and said we would see them soon. After they left we finished cleaning up the place and headed out to go home. Riley, Jason and I drove together. Sam left to go home to her family and said, "I will see you guys on Sunday." In consideration of the events of the last few days, the drive home was completely uneventful. We arrived back home around 5 in the afternoon on Tuesday. Riley dropped us off and told us that he would see later when he and his mom came over. Dad welcomed us with hugs and said, "Your mom is out shopping. The rest of the family will be home soon for dinner." Just as we started to head upstairs to my room mom pulled in the driveway and asked us to help unload the car. I jokingly asked if she purchased all the food in the supermarket. She sternly looked at me with a straight face said, "With the amount of food that you consume I will need to go back tomorrow." Jason and Dad busted out laughing. After we helped put everything away I told mom that we were going upstairs. We grabbed our bags and started to head up the stairs when she asked, "Please wait for a few minutes because your dad and I need to talk to you first." After sitting down in the living room they told me that after much discussion they had decided to pack up Kurt's stuff and that they left the boxes out for me to look through and that I was to keep what I wanted. Upon hearing this I started to weep somewhat. Jason rubbed my back as they continued to talk. When they were finished Jason and I went up to my room. I was still upset when we went through the door. We found boxes with mostly clothing and some other stuff. But I was just not ready to do anything with the boxes at that moment. I took Jason by the hand and we went down the hallway to the guest bedroom. I was shocked with what I found. On the bed was the pillow made from Kurt's football jersey. I picked it up, hugged it tightly and started to cry. Jason came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me, hugging me tightly. After I recovered from my little melt down Jason sat me down on the bed to talk with me. He said, "I felt the same way when I had to box up my grandparents' stuff. I know how you feel. But you do need to go through Kurt's stuff to get closure. I have been able to experience closure with your help. Now you and Kurt's' parents need to experience closure too. Jason continued to hold me tight and we drifted off to sleep in the guest bedroom. We woke up when we heard someone knocking on my bedroom door. I opened door and found Riley standing down the hallway at my bedroom door with a look of apprehension on his face. I asked him what was wrong but he had a hard time trying to say anything. Jason knew that Riley was Kurt's best friend. Jason came up behind me, reached out and pulled Riley into the room and closed the door. Riley took a look around the room and just lost it. Both Jason and I enveloped him in a massive hug. We held him tightly until he relaxed and spoke. He said, "My mom and I were downstairs. Kurt's parents told us that they had packed up Kurt's stuff and I needed to go through all of it with you." We sat on the floor in my bedroom and talked. Jason told Riley the same thing he had already told me. Riley understood. He acknowledged that going through Kurt's stuff was indeed a missing part that he needed for closure. I said to Riley, "Let's start to go through this and pick our special mementos." Riley got a big smile on his face. But just as we started to dig through it we were called down for dinner. As we left the room we chatted a little about what to do with Kurt's stuff. I told dad and mom that Riley and I were going to look through Kurt's stuff and pick out mementos to keep. Dad and mom smiled and said that would be wonderful. During dessert Riley and I told everyone about what happened today before we left and also all about the offer Jason and I received from the president of the Fraternity's national headquarters. Dad expressed concerned but Riley stepped in and told him that we did not agree to anything but that we left them with instructions to send to us a written proposal and that we would discuss their offer with my family. I told dad, "The guy from the national headquarters knows all about my past and everything that happened. That has me a little concerned." Dad said, "Son, do not worry about it. It was all over the internet and news for weeks. But we will indeed take a close look at their proposal as soon as you receive it. As we were finishing up the doorbell rang. Dad went to get it and found Coach at the door. He invited him in and we offered him come cake and coffee. He gratefully accepted and sat down. Dad asked Coach, "What brings you to our humble abode this evening?" Coach pointed to Riley and me and said, "These two." Both of us looked very confused. Coach continued, "The school and the SIAA (State Interscholastic Athletic Association) have accepted your request to retire Kurt's number at the upcoming game. I would like the two of you to do the honors of presenting the chairman of the school board the framed football jersey with his number. There will be a lot of press from the newspaper and TV stations because of everything that happened. So I will understand if you don't want to do it. But I immediately thought of you two as soon as I received the notice. Oh, one more thing. I know everyone in the room expect this young man." Coach stood up and put out his had to Jason and started to introduced himself. Jason took Coach's hand. I jumped in, "I apologize for my bad manners. Jason this is Coach O'Rourke. Coach this is Jason my boyfriend. They shook and Coach smiled. Riley and I quietly discussed Coach's offer. I looked at Jason and he gave me an approving nod and smile (God, I love this boy). So I told Coach, "It will be an honor to present Kurt's jersey at the big game." Coach said, "I will take care of everything. You guys just need to be in a dress shirt and tie for the event. I have security passes for all of you to be on the field for the presentation. Sheriff, can you make arrangements to add extra officers to the security detail?" Dad said, "Of course. No problem." With all that business taken care of we said our goodnights and told Riley he could stay with us for the night. But he wanted to be at home with his mom. He said he would be back around noon. Jason and I went up to my bedroom. I picked up the special pillow and again held it tightly. I looked over at Jason. He had a smile, but his eyes told a different story. I reached for his hand and held it tight. I put the pillow on the bed. Jason and I sat down on the floor. I looked him in the eyes and said, "Yes, I have baggage and ghosts in my life. But I want to put you at ease." He smiled at me and was about to say something but I stopped him and continued to spill my guts. "I deeply love and respect you. I thank you for now being a major part of my life." I took his hand, kissed it and put it next to my heart and continued, "As silly as this may sound to you it is my way to prove to you that you are not in competition with my past." I looked up at the pillow that was on the bed where Kurt and I slept and said, "Kurt, this is Jason. He has become my boyfriend. He has shown me love, kindness and respect. You will forever and always be my first boyfriend and have a special place in my heart. As you told me in your letter I need to love again. Well I have found that person and he has accepted me with all my faults, baggage and ghosts." As I turned from looking at the pillow I discovered that Jason was crying. He told me that he also deeply loved me. I got up and locked both doors to the bedroom. Oh my God, Jason rocked my world almost all night long. When we made love I saw what can only be described as fireworks. My cock was very hard each time and came with an abundance of cum each time he was inside me. I loved the feeling of Jason's warm cum as he flooded my love channel several times. That morning when Riley arrived I was walking funny. He was laughing at me as I walked back to the bedroom to finish getting dressed. Jason went into the guest bedroom with Riley. I heard the two of them laughing their asses off. I took a shower, got dressed and went walking bow legged into the guest bedroom. Riley looked at me then at Jason and said, "Damn bro! I heard you guys all the way down at my place. You moan louder than Sam!! If your mom wasn't wearing her earplugs she was probably shaking her head. Did the sheriff yell at you to pipe it down a notch or two?" I walked over and smacked him hard on his back. With that the two of them lost it all over again. I sat down between the two of them and we started to look through the boxes. We found some stuff that we pulled out to keep. By the time we finished going through the boxes it was around 3 in the afternoon so we took a little break and went for a walk. It was a sunny but brisk day. We walked towards the center of town and went into the coffee shop and had some coffee and a snack. As we chatted Riley suggested that we walk over to the school to see the memorial that was erected for Kurt's honor. I looked over at Jason. He nodded with agreement. As we left I whispered into Jason's ear. He looked confused but said, "Yes." That got Riley's attention. I told Riley, "I want to stop at the florist to pick up a small arrangement." Riley thought that was a great idea. The owner of the shop remembered us. He made us a very nice arrangement and did not even charge us. We thanked him and off we went. When we arrived at the school Riley saw some of the senior players and said, "I will meet up with you guys by the field gate." Jason and I continued to walk towards the memorial which was next to the gate for the field. When we arrived at the memorial I got down on my knees and looked at the small granite headstone. It read "In Remembrance of Kurt Potter #10." I put the arrangement next to the stone and was about to stand up when Jason tapped me on the shoulder. I looked up and saw what looked like younger players. All of them had on football jerseys. The tallest one shouted out to us, "Hey, what the fuck are you doing there? We don't want you dirtying up a team hero." Before I could answer someone yelled out to the tall kid and the group turned to see who was yelling at them. I saw Riley and David walking up. Riley asked, "What the fuck is going on?" The tall player said, "We found this guy doing something to Kurt's stone and we were just about to kick his ass." Riley got really red in his face and was ready to use his fist on someone when David stopped him and told him that he would handle this and not to worry. The tall kid got a grin on his face and looked at me and said, "You are going to get it now!" I looked up at the tall kid and said, "I don't think so." Just as I said that David walked up to the tall kid and grabbed him by the shirt and pulled it right off of him leaving him bare-chested and in shock. David looked at the group and said in a very commanding voice, "All of you are new to this team. And you, jackass (to the tall kid), just moved to town so listen up and listen good or all of you will be running up and down the bleacher stairs every day from now until next season. Now let me tell you why and if your attitudes do not change I'll go Coach and he will most likely kick all of you off the team no matter how good you are. This is Devon. He was Kurt's fiancé. The guy behind you is Riley. He was Kurt's and Devon's best friend and this guy I have yet to meet. Now you assholes owe Devon, Riley and their friend here an apology." At that point I introduced Jason to David. The group humbly apologized after which David shouted at them to start running their 10 laps, except he told the tall kid to hold back. He told the kid, "As for you, Raymond, once you are done with 10 laps you are to run up and down the bleacher stairs twice. After you do that you can shower. And then we will sit down and talk about your need to join GSA (Gay Straight Alliance - student club)." After that little set back we hung around the memorial for a little while. David hung close to Jason and me. We went to lunch and caught up on the news in our lives. Then we headed back to the house to find mom working hard preparing for Thanksgiving dinner. I asked if she wanted help and she did not hesitate to put us to work. The day went fast. It was dinner time by the time we were all done. Dinner was pizza and light conversation. Dad came home late as he had been meeting with the mayor to discuss the final plans for Friday's events at the game. Riley said his good bye and, "My mom and I will be back by about 10 in the morning to help finish getting everything ready for tomorrow's dinner." After he left Jason and I took time to talk with to dad and mom. I explained, "We finished going through all the boxes of Kurt's stuff. Riley also pulled out some stuff out to keep. I apologize for my reaction when you told me that you had packed up Kurt's belongings." They both thanked me and said they understood my reaction to the news and had been expecting it. I told them, "If you want Riley and I will take the boxes to Goodwill on Saturday." Mom said, "Devon, thank you but that is something that your dad and I need to do. Would you and Riley come with us?" I immediately replied, "Sure. I will mention it to Riley tomorrow." Sleep came relatively fast as I cuddled up to Jason. Our breathing started to sync and it was a soft, soothing sound. I woke up about 4 am to noise from down stairs. I got up, put on some shorts and a tee shirt and went down stairs to find Mom in the kitchen starting the turkey for dinner. I smiled and offered her some help. She said, "Thank you, Devon. But you get back to bed where you belong at this hour." I hugged her and headed back upstairs. When I climbed back in bed I found Jason still sleeping but hugging my pillow. I noticed that he had really ridged morning wood. So I decided to have a little fun and started to give him some morning head. As I went up and down I knew that he was enjoying it because I could hear his muffled moans. He started to hump my face. Within minutes he shot his rather large and tasty load down my throat. He woke up in a panic thinking he just had a wet dream. After a few seconds he realized that I was wildly sucking on his dick. He started to run his fingers through my hair and I just kept sucking until he became soft. He then pulled me up to him, face to face. He kissed me and asked, "What was that all about?" I gave him a mischievous look and said, "I just wanted to take full advantage of you when I saw your morning wood. What were you dreaming about?" He looked me right in the eyes and said, "Just the sexiest man in my life!!" I blushed and then with a straight face he said, "Yeah Riley is really sexy hot!" But he lost it and busted out laughing. He looked at me and said, "I dream about you all the time and every time I wake up with morning wood it is because of you." We made out for a little while and then went back to sleep. I was awoken by knocking on the bedroom door. It was Riley, Ryan and Melissa who I had not seen in a while. After she married they moved to another state. I opened the door a crack and told them we will be out shortly. I woke up Jason and we both jumped into the shower together to save time. His bum cheeks rubbed against me up and left me with blue balls. He laughed all the way downstairs to the kitchen where everyone was having coffee and working on the big dinner so we joined in. I introduced Jason to Melissa and they greeted but something was a little off. That bugged me but I could not put my finger on it. After we finished setting the table dad, mom and Melissa went into the family room while Riley, Jason, Ryan and I went to the park to toss around a football. On the way we stopped to see if Father Godspeed was in. As we made it to the park I remembered that I had forgotten something and told everyone that I was going to run home to get it. When I walked in I heard mom and Melissa having a loud discussion. As I neared the steps I heard Jason's name spoken and I stopped to listen. Melissa was saying she did like him sleeping with me in my room and that she felt he was taking advantage of the void in my like and it was too soon for me to have a new boyfriend and on and on. I started to get really upset but then I remembered that Jason told me that I needed closure. That gave me an idea. I went up to my bedroom, found what I was looking for and I went back downstairs. They were still talking when I knocked on the wall. They all jumped. Melissa looked like a deer in the headlights. She tried to apologize but I stopped her. I walked over, took her hand and sat down next to her. I spoke softly and she could see in my face that I was hurt but not mad. I said, "Melissa, I want you to get to know Jason. Kurt left me a letter telling me to love again. I believe that in some way Kurt brought Jason and me together." I then pulled out of my back pocket a photo and handed it to her. She started to cry. I told her, "Kurt told me that you gave this to him and he loved it so I felt it was only right to give it back to you." I also handed her the letter and said, "Please read Kurt's letter. It will help you understand where I am coming from." She thanked me for the photo but declined to read the letter saying it was for me and me alone. She promised to get to know Jason over the next few days. Dad and mom thanked me and asked, "How did you become so wise?" I smiled and said, "I just remembered what Jason told me about my need for complete closure and applied his wisdom to this situation." Before I left to run back to the park mom reminded me that dinner was at 6 and to be home on time. When I got back to the park they were playing touch football. It was not long before we got bored so we walked over to see if Father Godspeed was back yet. When we rounded the corner we saw him sitting on the steps of the church. He saw us coming and greeted us with asking how we were all doing. We chatted for a little while. I asked what he was doing for the holiday and he told me he was heading over to his sister's house. He wished us a blessed day and took time to pray over us. After his prayer we said our goodbyes and headed home. When we got home we all showered and hung out in the family room. Melissa was talking to Jason and was getting to know him on a deeper level. That certainly made me happy. Dinner was amazing and we ate just about everything. After dinner and pie we all went into the family room to watch football and enjoy just being together. I asked Jason, "Hey babe, how about going for a walk?" He replied with an eager "Yes." So we told everyone that we were taking a walk to burn off diner. About a half mile into our walk we ran into Raymond, the jerk from the foot ball team. He walked up to us and said, "Hello." I was a little taken back but responded in a positive way to him. He was very sincere and apologized to us again. He joined us for our walk and we got to know the little shit better. He said, "My name is Raymond Tanner. I feel like a jerk for the way I treated you guys. I want to make it up to you." I smiled and said, "Win tomorrow's game and we will call it even." He laughed and replied, "That will be easy. Do all of you have tickets to the game? If not I will get some for everyone." I replied back, "Thank you but all of that has been taken care of. What about your family? Will they be at the game to watch you play?" He said, "No. My dad is a Sheriff's deputy. He will be on duty so he will not be able to come to the game. At home it is just my dad, my older brother and me. And my brother is out of town with his wife's family." I told him, "We will see you at the game then." After we said good bye Jason and I headed home. When we got home Jason and I went to speak with dad. I asked, "How hard would it be to assign Raymond Tanner's dad to the game so that he could see his son play?" Dad answered with questions, "Why do you want me to do that and how do you know Raymond Tanner?" Jason and I explained everything, right down to running into him during our walk and that Raymond told us that no one from his family would be able to be at the big game to watch him play. Dad said, "Well I will make a call and see what I can do about that." Just before Jason, Riley and I hit the hay dad came up and told us, "I was able to have Raymond's dad reassigned to the home field side. So now he will see his son play." I gave dad a big hug and thanked him. Jason and I hit the bed and were out so fast that we did not have any "fun". I woke up with Jason spooning me in his sleep. I liked the dream he was having! I felt his morning wood poking at me trying to get into my butt. I pushed back and he groaned. He was hard as steel. If I had been pre-lubed, he would have slipped right in. He woke up and held me tightly. He said, "We do not have time for love making right now. But tonight you are going to pay big time for teasing me." We got up, showered, dressed in nice jeans, dress shirt and tie for the presentation today. Dad dressed in his formal uniform and mom looked lovely in her dress and shawl. At the request of dad and Coach we left for the game and opening ceremony with more then a few hours to get to the field ahead of everyone else. When we arrived dad went to check in with the officer he put in charge of the detail. As Jason, Riley and I were walking in we ran into Raymond Tanner. He was very excited that his dad was at the game. He had us go with him to meet his dad. He introduced Jason, Riley and me to his dad. After we shook hands and all the inductions were done dad walked over and Raymond's dad sort of stood at attention military style. Dad told him to relax. He introduced him to Raymond. Dad said, "So you're the Tanner my son has told me all about." Both Raymond and his dad had a confused look. I settled their questioning look and explained, "The sheriff is my guardian after my real parents beat me and put me in the hospital two years ago. I consider him as my dad far more than my father." Raymond looked at me, smiled and said, "You made it possible for my dad to work the game! Wow! After what I did to you, that is amazing! Thank you, bro." End of Chapter 8.
