Other stories: Nifty/Beginnings/Cards in the Deck - Adam and Ben A Stepbrother's Desire - Josh and Tyson 66 The good news on Tuesday was that Ty was up and talking. He had several good discussions with a therapist and was about to join a group session with other teens. I wanted to know what the discussions were about and Mom said they would not divulge that information to her. I was like, "what the hell! You're his legal guardian or whatever's required!" "Nonetheless," mom said. "They have confidentiality rules to follow. This isn't like being treated for a headache or broken bone. Are you worried about something, Josh?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. "You don't think he's in there talking about you, do you?" "Don't you think he is?" I asked, my stomach turning a few degrees. "Maybe, but I hardly think you're the lead concern in this episode. I suspect there are a lot of things on his mind. I suspect his mother's death and multitude of other things have led him to this. Why don't we be patient and give Ty credit?" She cupped my cheek in her hand. "He's a strong boy and is going to be just fine. Watch what I tell you!" she quipped and, grabbing her purse and computer bag, headed for the door for work. I should still be in bed but I can't sleep. I haven't had a good night sleep since all this happened. A couple of interesting things happened today. Lisa and Ginny would show up. Marching through the door like she owned the place, Lisa barked, "what in the hell is going on, Josh? How's Ty?" she demanded. "I'm a little pissed because I'm leaving in a few days and I wanted to see him before I left!" "Sorry to inconvenience you, Princess!" I snapped, half joking. "Hey Josh," said Ginny, giving me a tight hug. "How are you doing?" she asked. "I"m ok but fucking miserable. Thank you for asking," I said. "I need to see him!" I cried. My chest heaved. I knew I could feel my emotions with Lisa and Ginny. "He's in good hands," said Lisa. "My dad is all flustered about this," she said. "Your dad? Huh? He's afraid my mom's gonna drop the ball because of the distraction!" I said. "How dare you!" Lisa barked. "My dad thinks your mom will be the stregth of his administration and he knows she has her shit together. Even with Ty in the hospital." "Is it because he has the hots for her?" I asked. "Maybe he does but you don't know my dad. He is all about the performance and the numbers. It's all he cares about. And the people around him, well, once you get his trust, he will completely trust you. He trusts your mom and he fucking loves you!" she said, surprising me to death. "What does that mean?" Ginny asked. "Oh back during football season, he saw you as the big ticket. He would have loved to have had a son like you rather than a "princess" like me. Let me be the first to assure you, Joshua!" Lisa said, cracking up. "Oh Josh is the talent. He's the man. He's got the ball and the game, blah, blah, blah." Ginny cracked up. "Listen Josh, there are far more people concerned about this than you realize. Ginny's mom wants a full report when we get home. You have no idea how much you two mean to everyone," and I wasn't sure at first, but I saw Lisa's eyes well up. "It's so true, Josh," said Ginny. "Kyle's going to be checking in with you later. He's worried sick." Ok, now my eyes were welling up. "Seriously? Everyone is tore up about this?" I asked. They both nodded. Lisa gave me a push from the front door and we stopped in the family room. They sat with me and we talked. We had a good laugh on several points. That was a good cheering-up session. Lisa wasn't leaving until Sunday so hopefully we would get to see her again. Lisa would be the first of our crew to pull out. Her trip to Europe had been scheduled months ago. The other conversation to take place was with Keith Burch. He called. I answered. "Hey," I said. "Want to see me?" he asked. "Yes," I said. I was at his apartment thirty minutes later. "How is he?" Keith asked, as I stepped into his place. "He's talking. Apparently talking up a storm to the doctor." "That's great! I was afraid he would be stoic or withdrawn. If he's talking, then he has things to get off his chest." "Do you think so?" I asked, sitting down on the sofa. "Let me ask you, Josh, does he know?" asked Keith, not taking the question all the way. "Yeah," I said. "You told him?" he asked with a bit of temper. "No, he, well, he discovered it. He stuck his finger in my, um my ass, that evening and he knew." Keith gave a chuckle. "He poked you with his finger and was immediately enlightened to the fact we fucked. Hmmm, I will have to ponder that. But Josh, this is serious. I don't need to be the number one reason for Ty's emotional breakdown!" "Exaggerating,'' I would say. He wasn't resentful. He actually didn't even say anything about it until I berated him for letting Jordan fuck him," I said, and I realized what I had just done. "What! You have to be kidding me! Are you all at it? I mean, who isn't getting fucked these days!" Keith shook his head in disbelief. "That's confidential, Keith. Please don't make reference to it, especially to Ty." "Obviously not! I also don't need to be on Jordan Rose's hit list. Fuck what a tangled mess." "Listen, Keith. It's all in perspective. And Ty understood it, maybe better than me." "How so?" "He knew somewhere deep down, I wanted to experience you. I wanted to tell him that I wanted to feel a man, just, um, what am I trying to say. Nevermind!. But he already knew and didn't say a word to me. He did the same. He and Jordan have been so close for so many years. Jordan put it out there and Ty took it. We closed the loop on two very influential people in our lives." I looked down and my feet were rocking on the carpet. "That is a perspective, Josh. I hadn't thought of it like that. You needed me like that?" he asked. "Yeah, I needed to feel it with a man. You are a man. You are THE man, in my opinion. And I got what I needed. It was amazing." "I thought so too," and he rubbed my leg. I was frozen for a second as his hand slipped up my inner thigh into my crotch. I was so appalled. I mean, one minute he's worried about Ty's feeling about us fucking and now he's trying to get into my pants!. I leapt up from the couch. "I can't Keith. I couldn't possibly..." "Calm down, Josh. You gave the right answer!" "Huh?" "I wanted to see if you were so pitiful that you needed a pity fuck but you aren't. You're focused on Ty and your feelings for him and I'm so glad. You always amaze me," he said. My breathing calmed down. I sat back down. "That was a dirty trick," I said. "It was a dirty test," he replied. "Listen Josh, and hear me on this. I don't want to regret what happened between us. It was beyond special. But I can't and I won't do it with you again. There was a moment, well, several moments that day when I felt like my heart was going to pour onto you. I thought of it on several occasions afterwards. Josh, I cannot fall for a freshman in college. I cannot fall for you. It would be a disaster on all levels. You understand what I'm saying?" he asked. "Yeah, I do. I don't regret it either because you became so special to me. But, I'm not ready to let go of Ty no matter what happens in college. And I don't want to wreck your career." "There you go. We are aligned. When will you get to see Ty?" Kieth asked. "Possibly Thursday according to my mom." "I had to take some courses in this sort of thing. If Ty is up and talking after his breakdown, he is coming out swinging. He has a will to thrive. I have every confidence he will be ok." "You and Dillard going to meet with him about the diversity thing?" I asked. "Everything is still full speed ahead unless Ty says no." "I doubt he will do that," I said, feeling confident in Ty's grand return.. "You are right. He is so hard headed. You know this is not going to keep him down." "Yep. you're right about that. I'm feeling a little better," I said. "It's been like a roller coaster the last few days," I said. "That occurs out of guilt or from love. I suspect it's love. Focus on the good, Josh. When you see him, be gentle and let him guide you into what he's comfortable with. Be as light hearted as you can. He is not on a deathbed. Get me?" asked Keith. "I totally get you!" I said. "Why is every meeting with you like some amazing tv episode?" I asked. "I don't know but I should be getting paid per episode!" We cracked up. "Keith, one question. Do you see yourself having a relationship with Ty like me? I mean, not that you would have sex with him but is he..." "Josh, we've talked about this. Ty is not you and he is not new to being gay and he have a football career yanked out from under him. I saw you coming from miles away and I hoped that I would have some of your respect, enough to be influential toward you. You were prickly toward me in the beginning and I felt I was on the wrong foot. Ty is strong and has responsibilities that fall under my leadership. Of course I would offer him support where needed but he is one of my students and I want him to blow this diversity initiative the holy fuck up, you know what I'm saying? The ramifications are excellent for both of us," he said, giving me a wink. "Ah, so you need him to do some lifting so you can put this on your resume. I got you now, Keith, brotha," I said with sarcasm. "You're a shithead. You know I'm not using him. But I honestly feel like Ty is the one person in that whole school who can make this a program, one that will bleed throughout the city. He will have the mayor's attention if all goes well." "Are you serious?" I asked. "Oh yes. The mayor is desperate for an inclusion policy and the, well, the lower income districts are struggling in polls. Bullying, separation, division, have all become a serious problem. Brumfield stands out already. This program could be a big deal for the city." "I didn't know," I said. Of course, my conspiracy mindedness kicked in and I realized they all stood to gain. Keith and his resume, Dillard and his scholastic reputation, and the mayor and his agenda. I did not realize at that moment how the whole thing would play into my mother's hands but that is a story you will hear later. He told me about his trip that he was leaving for in a few days. July will be here in a week. We said our goodbyes and with a huge hug and a kiss on the cheek, I left Keith's apartment. I wasn't sure if I would ever return. I liked how we left it but I felt a little grief. Was that the end of a great friendship? He thought about falling for me? No, he was afraid of doing so. Two different things. If it wasn't Ty, it would have to be someone as amazing as Keith, that was for sure. But for now, it was Ty. That was pretty much my day. As it was nearing 6 pm, I drove by Tristan's house and luckily, as I had hoped, Jack was there. They would provide a nice distraction. I felt like I had to keep moving. I parked in the drive and walked up to the front door. I hoped I wasn't about to interrupt something. I rang the bell and Tristan opened the door with a slice of pizza in his hand. "Come on in, Josh. You need to hang with us," Tristan said, with a warm smile. Wednesday, when I woke up, the house was quiet. It was 8 am. I slept so good. Mom informed Bill and me that Ty was making remarkable progress. They definitely wanted to see us on Thursday. Ty wanted his phone and his iPad and was giving them a fit. I had to laugh. I know how Ty is when he's giving someone a fit. My heart was light. I was so hopeful. I didn't want to think he was going to bare his fangs at me. I just needed to see him. I wanted to smell his skin and hair. Feel his smoothness. I wanted to see the flash in his eyes. I dressed and drove to the dealership. "Josh, dammit, where you been?" the supervisor shouted at me. "Just, well..." "I understand, Josh. I heard. He doing ok?" he asked. "Getting better and we get to see him tomorrow," I said, appreciative they weren't giving me shit for my slack. "We got in a new fleet. Head to lane three if you're here to grace us with your handiness!" he said and swatting me with a damp towel. I finished my first car and I was right impressed. "Look at the shine on this baby!" I announced. Kurt, one of the other guys replied, "you got no better shine than me. Who are you talking to?" he asked. "Well, I wasn't talking to you directly but let me inspect!" and I floated over to his car. I pointed to a small missed spot on the driver door. "How stupid is that!" I said. Kurt took in a breath. I pointed to water spot on the read bumper. I pointed to a streak on the glass. "Looks like this one needs a do-over!" I barked to the supervisor. "You need to shut the fuck up, Warner. You must be feeling something today. You are all ASS!" he said and everyone cracked up. I was feeling it. I was feeling better than I had in a long time. The exertion I put into the cars was almost therapeutic. I slept good again Wednesday night. I awoke on Thursday to a slew of texts, wishing Ty well. Telling me to enjoy my visit. Hoping all was going to be better. After the day had dragged on, and I had changed my clothes twice, and styled my hair, I grabbed Ty's iPad and phone. You know there were messages there from his friends. They was Caleb and Micah. Some people from school. The guy named Beau was blowing the phone up with twelve messages. There was a message from Kyon Li that I wanted to open so badly but I decided not to. The wrong message could put me in the wrong mood and that was the last thing Ty needed. I was about to lose the will to live when Mom picked up Bill and me at 3 pm. Bill and I walked out the back door. "You excited?" Bill asked. "I texted mom and asked if I could just go on over." Bill laughed harder than I had heard in a few days. "What did she say to that?" he asked, climbing into the front seat of mom's wagon. "No reply!" I said, jumping into the back. He howled at that. "What's so funny?" mom asked. "iPHone governance," Bill said with a smirk. "You got Ty's things?" mom asked. "Yep, I picked out clean clothes, things he would hate. His phone and iPad, and his cologne and those mints he likes so much." "Things he will hate?" asked Bill. "You know, clothes that won't show so much prosperity." Bill laughed. "That better not backfire," Bill said. It wouldn't, I thought. Ty was going to be as happy to see us as we were him. He would get the joke. I know he would get the fucking joke! After parking the car, we entered through the lobby and took the elevator up. The elevator opened to a quiet hospital floor. We walked down the hall where Dr. Wills met us. "Welcome," he said excitedly. "Ty is in rare form today. He is so excited," and he turned and led us to Ty's room. "Everyone in good form? Josh, have you been managing with care?" he asked. "I have but..." and mom interrupted. "We are really glad to be moving forward, Dr. Wills," she said. "Great!" and he opened the door and we walked in. Ty was lying back on his bed watching a tv show. His eyes widened. His smile stretched across his face. I wanted to run to him. "Hey," I said, and I knew I was rocking on my feet. He waved and gave me the sexiest smile. "Josh, if you don't mind," said Dr. Wills. "I would like to meet with Ty and your parents for a bit." Mom turned me back toward the door. I waited out in the waiting area for what seemed like an eternity. Then, Ty's door opened and Dr. Wills came out. He motioned for me. I walked in and mom and dad were sitting on the edge of Ty's bed. "Can you all excuse us please?" I said with as much patience as I could muster. When we had the room to ourselves, there was silence. Neither of us seemed to know where to start. I sat on the edge of his bed and offered him my hand. "Hi, I'm Josh Warner. Seems I remember you from somewhere," I said. Ty took my hand. "I'm Ty, and yeah, I seem to remember you too. But from where?" he asked. I knew he could manage a little theatre. He was great at this. "I'm thinking of a blowout prom night, fancy cars and gar bars!" I said. He giggled. "I seem to remember that but I'm thinking of a cool fall day where i fall asleep in your arms in a lawn chair in the backyard only to be discovered by our mom. It was so romantic," he cooed. "Oh that is a cool memory. Where did those days go?" I asked. "It got complicated," Ty said. My eyes were welling. "You can stop that now. Very little of my episode is about you so just cut the shit," he said. "Back to normal I would say," I said. He giggled again. "Josh, the doctor thinks I have been out of balance for a long time. I probably didn't grieve for my mother and he suspects my dad didn't either. I'm still grieving for costing you football." "That's not your fault!" I snapped. "Doesn't matter. You can't convince my brain of it. I have given you every liberty because I didn't think I had the right to do differently. But its gonna be better Josh. They're going to require me to attend weekly counseling through the end of summer then they'll reconsider it when school starts. There are things I need to work out. The fact is, you and your mom made a big life change when she married my dad and you left your school. Well, I went through some big life changes too and I wasn't mature enough to handle all of it. I"m ok with that assessment. I'm going to be fine," he said and all he had to do was lean forward just a bit and I grabbed him with my arms and squeezed the life out of him. "Do you love me?" I squeaked into his ear. "Oh babe, you know I do. Have since the day I met you," and we squeezed each other tighter. "When you getting out of here?" I asked. "Saturday morning. I'm sitting in a group therapy session tomorrow with some other kids. I met a few of them and they are cool. "I can't wait to have you home. I have gone bat shit crazy this past week." He giggled again. I handed him his iPad which he snapped up quickly as well as the clothes. He dropped them on the bed. "Seriously? This is what you bring me? Goodwill shit?" Ty snarled. On Friday, dad and I went to see Ty. Mom had some meetings and it was ok that Bill and I did this. We were hanging out in Ty's room telling stories when I heard familiar voices coming down the hall. I looked out and sure enough, it was the Chatleys and in their usual formation. Julia under her dad's arm and Bryce holding his mother's elbow. So noble. That's how they always were. Julia marched up to me. "I need to check on Ty for myself. I know these places better than any of you, after all!" and I stepped aside so she could enter. "Hey man!" said Bryce, giving me a half hug. The Chatleys stepped in behind Julia. "Dan, Julie, pleased to see you. I wasn't sure Ty was allowed to have visitors," Bill said. "He's not but they know us well at the check in desk," said Mrs. Chatley. "Hey shug!" said Mrs. Chatley, giving Ty's cheek a squeeze. "Looking no worse for wear," said Mr. Chatley with a cheesy grin. "Well, thank you all for coming but you didn't really have to," said Bill. "It means a lot." "Listen Bill," said Mr. Chatley. "Your kids are just about our kids!" said Mrs. Chatley. "When we were tending to Julia, Karen was an absolute godsend!" "Well speaking of Karen, we were wanting to have you all over for dinner. What are you doing tomorrow night? Ty is coming home in the morning and we might have a little celebration." "Great idea!" said Mrs. Chately. "Great, let's let the kids have it," Bill said. He escorted the Chatleys out and Julia gave Bryce and me the stare from hell. "Welcome to my world," said Bryce. We cracked up laughing. Julia shut the door behind us. We all sat in the waiting area for a bit while Bill gave Mr. and Mrs. Chatley some basics the doctor had shared. "I always wondered," said Mrs. Chatley. "Losing a child is so hard for us to consider but losing a mother. What a terrible time that was. Melinda..." she trailed off. Taking a tissue from her purse, she had to wipe an eye. "The doctor told us that the single greatest thing for Ty was the fact that Karen left Melinda's portrait hanging over the fireplace," said Bill. "I guess some new wives might have insisted differently. Karen was content to leave it where it was. Apparently, it was a source of great comfort to Ty. Maybe it was to me too. I don't know where to draw the line in bringing up the past or leaving it alone," Bill said reflectively. "There is no line. It's instinct," said Mrs. Chatley. "I suspect you've done the best you could. And I suspect that Melinda would be right proud of how things have turned out." "Thank you for that," said Bill. "How is that GME tax fraud coming?" asked Dan Chately. "Well that's another story. We have two teams working on it. It's a tough one," Bill said. We heard music and laughter coming from Ty's room. I walked back to his door and cracked it open gently. Julia was apparently going over some new dance moves she had seen on MTv with Ty. They were having a blast. I walked back shaking my head. "She's ok, isn't she?" asked Bill. "Oh yeah, my girl is just fine," said Mr. Chately. "It was tough but her progress has been amazing. There's always going to be a little fire in her. She gets that from Julie's side of the family!" and he cracked up. Mrs. Chatley have him a stink eye. Bryce and I laughed. We were surprised when the door flew open to Ty's room. Julia marched out and Ty came out behind her. "Ty is just fine. Y'all need to get him out of here!" she insisted and marched right past us and down the hall, her blond curls bouncing down her back. She got on the elevator and the doors closed. We watched in silence until I asked, "Where did she go?" "She won't realize what she's done til she gets to the lobby!" said Mrs. Chatley. Bryce and I just shook our heads. Bryce and his parents left to catch up with Julia. Bill and I said goodbye to Ty so he could have his group session that evening. I was entirely restless at home. Mom was excited about Ty's energy and enthusiasm. Bill was quiet but I knew he was happy. He's grumbly when he's not. Tristan called to check on Ty and I told him to call him himself now that Ty had his phone. Frankly, I was glad to rid of it. Seeing messages pop up that I didn't want to snoop into. Message from Kyon, Beau, and other people at school. I would've liked a conversation with Keith Burch but I guess that's concluded. It was 9 pm and I couldn't stand it any longer. I put on a pair of jeans and black t-shirt. I snuck out the front door and climbed into my car. I drove to the hospital. The parking lot had a lot of empty spaces since visiting hours were long over. I entered the lobby quietly. Nurses and attendants were milling about. No one said anything to me so I got on the elevator. What waited for me on the 5th floor, I did not know. The door opened and I peeked out the door. I felt like I was on a reconnaissance mission to extract Ty from the evil psych ward! There was no one in the hall. It was quiet. I slipped out of the elevator and moved down the hall as quickly and quietly as I could. Without knocking I opened Ty's door. He was looking at his iPad and talking on the phone. "Josh!" he barked. "Shhh!" I said, putting my finger over my mouth like a mother does. He grinned. I closed the door behind me. "Bye Tristan. Josh has snuck into the hospital to see me!" and he hung up. I moved to the side of Ty's bed and sat down on the edge. "Oh my God, how did you get in here?" Ty said. "Security is slack in this place. Just anyone can wander in." He laughed. He lifted his sheet and I slid in beside him. His body felt so good pressed to mine again. He had bathed and he smelled good too. "I had to see you. We didn't get to talk much with people in and out," I said. "I'm coming home tomorrow silly," he said. "I couldn't stand it. Have you caught up on all your messages?" I asked. "Did you read them?" he responded. "No. That's your privacy." "Well, there was nothing in there that is really private but thank you for being thoughtful. I'm so sorry, Josh, for everything that happened. I was out of control. I didn't mean to..." "Stop Ty. I started it. The only fault is you not calling me out. If you had said something before, everything might have been different!" "So it is my fault in the end," Ty said in a sarcastic voice. "You being too lenient with me. You should've cracked the whip on me when you had the chance." "There is still a chance for me to crack a whip on you," and he gave me a sly grin. I wasn't sure if it was safe but I leaned in and we kissed. It was an amazing kiss. It was love and lust and care and everything. "Ty, I flat out lied to you and I'm sorry. A small part of me really needed what I got but it shouldn't have come at your expense. Please forgive me," I said. He was holding my hand. "I feel the same way. I really needed that hot minute with Jordan but putting us in jeopardy was reckless." He was quiet for a minute. "How do get past the need for these apologies?" he asked. "Let's just close the loop on them. What's done is done. I love you and nothing that has happened has changed that,. Ty. I don't know if I will ever love anybody but you." "That's funny," Ty said. "I had a dream and I don't think you will. I probably won't either. But, Josh, the truth is, other people are going to want to love us. We've talked about it. How to keep them at bay! It will be hard," Ty said. "How wise of you but, you're right. I don't know the answer except to say that between this very minute and the time I leave for school, I am all yours. Whatever you want, whatever you need. It comes from me." "That makes me happy," said Ty. "I am the same." We kissed again. The door opened and we heard a gasp. "Oh, hey Ms. Gravely." "Tyson, what is going on in here? You know visiting hours are over!" "Please, oh please," said Ty, in a pleading voice. "This is Josh and he went to great pains to sneak in here. He had to profess his love for me. Please?" he said again pleading. I kept silent. "Tyson, you beat everything, you know that. Given the state of your report, I will say he's got ten minutes then he needs to scoot out of here. Of all the things!" she barked, closing the door behind her. "That was awesome, dude!" I snapped. "Yeah, she's one of the cool nurses. She sat in here the other night and I told her all about you and me. Her brother's gay and she understands "boys in love"," he said using finger quotations. "But she's tough. She holds the line. She got one guy down the hall. Err, it wasn't pretty." I chuckled. He paused and inched back closer to him. "Is kissing you bad? I mean, can it cause trouble for you, or, I don't know what the fuck I'm trying to say!" I said impatiently. "No, it's ok. I'm not injured or scarred or anything. In fact, I'm living for the moment you put me on my back and roll on top of me and..." "You better stop there," I said. "It might happen right now!" and Ty planted his lips on mine. He broke the kiss at that moment we both recognized. "You better go, Josh. Tomorrow is a new time for us," Ty said. "Do you mean it?" I asked. My eyes started to well again. "Yeah you fucking crybaby. You need to man up and quit all the teary eyed shit. I want to come home to my man!" he snapped, emphasizing the word man. My heart was beating so fast. How could I have let our happiness slip and slide that way? My eyes were wide open now and I knew I was looking at the only person who would know me and love me the way Tyson Breck did. The drive back home was a long journey filled with traffic and people and diners and party goers and daters and who knows what else. It was only fifteen minutes home but it seemed like forever. Ty's return on Saturday was glorious. None of us could contain ourselves. Ty was packed and ready when we got there. Dr. Wills met with us all. Ty should resume normal activity. Ty should be aware of his surroundings and anxiety. Ty should stay on the anti-depressants until further notice. Ty must attend his weekly session through the end of summer. Ty needs to exercise and get back on the tennis court. Ty should not hold back on feelings, memories, or experiences he wants to talk about. In other words, he should stop internalizing. I never thought he did but he should follow the doctor's orders. We all piled up in his bedroom with him as he sorted things out. He didn't have much with him at the hospital but you know he had to get his room back into the way he liked it. He looked up me, mom, and dad all standing there. "It's really nice but do you all mind? I wouldn't mind a bit of privacy, unless, you all want to come to the bathroom with me!" I cracked up. Mom and dad took their dismissal well. "Son," said Bill walking over to Ty, "I am so glad to have you home. We'll talk more later or when you're ready. Just know how much..." and he broke off. "Ty honey, whatever you need, you just let me know, hon. We're going to have a nice evening with the Chatleys. You all will have a great time," mom said. "I liked that you invited them. I was afraid of us all sitting around looking awkward," and he giggled. "Second that!" said Bill. Mom and dad headed out and I was about to when Ty asked me to stay. "Yes! What do you need?" I asked. "Just you to hang out with me. He slivered over to me and put his arms around my waist. He smelled so good! "No problem," I whispered. I walked over and sat on his bed. He straightened his room and we talked, then we kissed, then he put clothes on hangers, then we kissed. This went on for a while. We ended up in the den watching a series on Netflix. It was the best afternoon ever. Mom had been in the kitchen working on the dinner. Ty jumped in to keep things moving while she went up to bath and get dressed. Bill and I did some light work in the backyard then we had to clean up. The Chatley's showed up. They pretty much barged for through the door all wearing blue and gray outfits. This is why Ty had us all in white polos and khaki shorts. We were dressed as clans! "Karen, the dining room looks gorgeous!" said Mrs. Chatley with a big smile. "How did you find the time?" Mom laughed and pointed to me and Ty. "I'm fully staffed again!" mom replied. She gave Ty a wink. "I know how happy you must be. Welcome home Ty," Mrs. Chatley replied. Julia took Ty's hand and said, "C'mom, lets finish what we started yesterday," and dragged him up the stairs. "I think she has a crush on Ty," I said to Bryce. "She loves gay boys better than straight ones so far as we know," said Bryce. "And it can stay that way as far as I'm concerned!" said Dan Chatley, patting me on the shoulder and laughing. He and Bill passed through the living room and went into the study. Dan knew that's where Bill houses his really good bourbon. The chicken cooked in mushroom soup and sour cream was incredible. Conversation was fairly light at first. Julia had various announcements including the fact she was trying out for the cheerleading team this upcoming year. Her parents were caught off guard but seemed pleased. Bryce led a short discussion about William and Mary and some of the history he had learned about the school, including the fact that the pressure to succeed in that school environment was intense. Soon, conversations were going on all at one time. The room was loud. With eight people, it was something that we had kept it down as long as we did. It was a big room and all of us sitting together was cool. Mom and Mrs. Chatley got onto the topic of the upcoming Ball season. "Have you picked out new dresses?" mom asked Julie. "I have my eye on a couple but haven't decided anything." "I was looking at what I used last year. Only two are reusable which made me think...Ty, hey," she said getting Ty's attention from Bryce. "Yes ma'am," he replied. "I was wondering if there was some way you work dresses into your digital platform," mom said to him. He straightened his back. "You mean, like, sell your dresses online?" he asked with raised eyebrows. "Exactly. I mean you couldn't get what I paid for them but anything to offset this year's budget, well, it couldn't hurt. What do you think?" she asked, with a big grin. I saw the lights going off in Julie Chatley's eyes. "Oh I definitely could. Tristan and I would love that challenge. We could look up like items on other sites to get fair market value. I'm sure we're not the only city who moms go to these fundraiser parties!" "I love the idea!" barked Bill. "Great show of commercial enterprise and initiative!" Dan Chatley cracked up. "You just want to see that offset!" he barked and everyone laughed. "And you're hoping for the same, I expect!" Bill replied. "I know he is," said Julie Chatley. "Ty, what about mine? Could you do them as well?" she inquired. "Oh God yes! This will be amazing! We don't even have to have them here. Tristan and I can photograph them at your house. We will only need to package them if and when they sell." I could see Ty's mind scheming as well. "The truth is this is just not a good time for antiques and collectibles. That seems to do better in colder months. We didn't know what our other options were. I feel inspired!" said Ty. "We can talk commission after dinner," he added. He looked so satisfied. I felt satisfied for him. The parents settled in the living room after dinner with drinks. We settled upstairs in our den. And when the night came to an end, we said our goodbyes. "Thanks for having them over," said Ty. "It was a really cool night." The good nights between us all were a bit overkill compared to usual but I think it was because everyone was glad Ty was home and was in a good state. I followed him into his room. He fell into my arms and kissed me and when it was apparent what was happening, I got scared. "Ty, I don't know if you're able to, well. I don't think I can do that this soon." "It's up to me, isn't it? I think I'm good for it," he said with a sinister grin. "You think that but you don't know it. I mean, I don't want to push you too far can cause..." "Another breakdown? I don't think so. Come on, Josh, you know you want this," and he guided my hands down his sides. "Well that's true but at what cost?" I replied, gripping his slim sides. I kissed him again. "Let's see how tomorrow is," I said. I woke up in the middle of the night. I felt the weight beside me. I looked over and Ty was asleep in my bed. I must have been sleeping hard for him to slip into my bed without me knowing. I rolled onto my side to look at him. He was asleep on his tummy. His hands were under the pillow. He looked so peaceful. His blond hair fell gently over his face. He opened his eyes as if he could hear me looking at him. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Your sheets are cooler than mine," he said. "Oh is that all?" He giggled quietly. "I needed my midnight wolf. I couldn't stand it in there by myself." I brushed the hair out of his face. "Feel my back," he said. I ran my hand down his firm back, feeling the little muscles and his spine, as they were connected. My hand slipped into the small of his back which arched up into his ass cheeks. "Oh my God, you feel good," I said. He leaned forward and kissed me. He had that natural nighttime breath. He tasted so good. "Kiss my back," he said. I leaned over him and kissed him between the shoulders. "Keep going," he said. I trailed my tongue down his back. He was still but he tensed in one spot. "Oooh," he groaned. "Keep going." I moved over him and kept descending until I reached that beautiful place where his cheeks start. He lifted himself a bit. I pulled down his underwear. His ass was so perfect. "Do it, please," Ty said, jetting his ass up. I pushed my face into his ass and licked his crack. His hole set me on fire. My cock was like a steel rod. I licked him, spit on his hole and twirled my saliva around his hole. His body trembled and he bucked into my face. "See Josh, I'm ready. Just take me please!" he hissed. There was no turning back now. I lubed and pressed into him. The reactions were all what I was used to. He pressed back against me. I ran my hands up his sides until mine connected with his. I thrusted into him, his puffy cheeks acting like a pillow guard. We did this, together, quietly, passionately. His head was turned back toward me and we kissed. Then he pressed back harder and he pushed up on his knees. He raised his torso to fall back against me. Goddamn I loved this. I continued to push into him in a slow methodical way. My cock was burning up inside him. He was pushing back on me with so much fierceness. I recognized the grunts and groans. I recognized his tensing muscles. His stomach muscles tightened in my grip. "Oh God Josh, I'm there. That place...only you can..." and slammed his body against mine and I knew what was happening. I looked down his front and his cock was hard as a rock and shooting cum onto his torso. I could smell his cum almost immediately. It had a stronger affect on me than usual. I froze for just a moment and he squeezed my dick. I came inside him. We both felt the load shoot into him. It had been almost a week for me and this was a long time. I groaned and wheezed. It was a powerful experience. He pulled off me and went to the bathroom and toweled his cum off. "I might have licked it off," I said, when he came back to my bed. "Eww," he laughed. He crawled into the bed beside me. He laid his head on my shoulder. I straightened the covers over us to protect our bodies from the ceiling fan breeze. "Damn, Ty. I wanted to wait but fuck that was good," I said, stroking his hair. "It was good," he said. He leaned up over me. "Josh, I just, I'm just so glad you've been here. I love you so much." I ran my hand over his cheek. "Same, babe," was all I could muster without crying. "We're going to the lake tomorrow to boat around with Kyle and Bryce. Is that ok?" I asked. "Oh hell yeah. Tristan's gonna be mad because he wants to see me." "He will live!" I said. "Besides, he can hang out with you tomorrow evening." "I wish I could've seen you all after cleaning up the mess at the Chatleys!" "We were a damn mess," I said. "But we needed something. He and I, well, we were struggling." "Bryce comes to the rescue, huh?" I laughed. "That's exactly what we said that day." "I'm sorry," he said. "Just stop," I said. "All that is over. We're right here now." He laid back down. We forgot to set clocks and got a shocking wake up visit from Mom. Err, another story for another day.
