The Abandoned Boy Chapter 58 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tom and I woke up Saturday morning of Columbus Day weekend, in my bed. "So, has it gone down yet?" I asked. Tom lifted the covers, and looked under them, then dropped the covers and grinned "Yup!" "OK then, what do you think? The choice is yours'. I'll agree either way," I said. "Let's do it!" Tom said, grinning. I grinned, and we embraced and fell into a kiss, which of course morphed into Tom pulling his legs up and opening them invitingly, and me sliding my hard dick up inside his hole, which was still somewhat lubricated from a few hours earlier, when we'd last had sex. When it was over, and we're lying together in bed yet resting, Tom said, "I can't believe we're going to do it!" "I know!" I said. "I think it'll be great though!" "I think so too!" Tom said. * * * As you'll recall, the previous night, after the bonfire, Tom and I had dropped by his sister and her partner's house, because they'd wanted to talk with us about 'something important'. Long story short, Liz and Bren had told us that now that they had a house, they wanted to start a family. They said they'd each like to have a baby. We'd discussed the high cost of invitrofertilization, and they said they'd looked into it, and agreed it would cost too much. Then they'd totally shocked both of us by announcing they each wanted to have a baby, they wanted us to be their 'Baby Daddies', and they wanted me to get Liz pregnant, and Tom to get Bren pregnant - by sleeping with them! After laying out their plan in a little more detail, we'd left saying we'd think it over and let them know. We'd gone to the pub across from my apartment complex, gotten some beer and shots, and sat in a corner table discussing it. In the end, we'd finally agreed we would both love to be father's of our own biological kids, and that this would be the best way, from our point of view, for that to happen, especially since Liz and Bren told us they would give us full parental rights, and would like us to be "hands on" parents every step of the way, right along with them! That left the only problem being our having to sleep with the girls to get them pregnant. The plan as they'd laid it out was for them to each get pregnant, hopefully, at the same time. Since they live together, like many women who do, they ended up on nearly the exact same menstrual cycle, so, both usually ovulated about the same time. So when the time was right, they wanted me to get Liz pregnant, and Tom to get Bren pregnant! Tom and I had discussed that aspect of the plan in depth. In the end, since I'd slept with some girls before, I was pretty sure I would be able to sleep with Liz, and make my donation. Tom however seriously didn't think he would be able to get up or stay up, long enough to get Bren pregnant. "I think I'd need Viagara to be able to do it!" Tom had wailed softly. Suddenly, I'd had an idea then. A week or so earlier, amongst other things, Tom had confiscated some viagara pills from a student, when the student's locker was raided. Apparently he'd been selling his grandfather's stash to some of our more adventurous students! Anyway, I asked Tom if he still had them, and he said he did. Then his eyes got big! We discussed it for a while and, finally he agreed he could give it a try. We decided he'd best try taking one once first, to make sure it really worked. "No time like the present!" I'd said. So we'd finished our beer, paid the tab, and headed back to the school. There, we'd gone into Tom's office, and he rooted around in a desk drawer, then pulled out a package of Viagara. Grinning conspiratorially at one another, we took the Viagara, and headed back to my apartment. Once there, Tom had taken a pill, and sure enough, he'd gotten rock hard! We had great sex, and his penis never went flacid! So we'd had sex a second time, and after that he'd still remained hard! Finally, we'd given up and gone to sleep, hoping that by morning, Tom's cock would be back to normal, and it was! * * * "So, you wanta call the girls and tell them? I asked. Tom grinned, and picked up his phone, dialed, and put the phone on speaker mode. "G'moring???" Liz's sleepy voice came over the speaker. "Wake Up Mommy!!" Tom nearly shouted into the phone. "You're not going to be sleeping in like this once you have our babies to take care of you know!" "Wh-wha???" Liz mumbled, then suddenly sounding wide awake, she shrieked through the phone, "WAIT, WHAT??? Does this mean you decided to be our 'baby daddies'???" "Yup!" Tom and I chorused. "Oh my God!!!" Bren cried then, sounding happy but a little groggy. "Thank you so much guys! We love you so much!" Liz cried. "Yeah!" Bren added. They both sounded ecstatic. For a few minutes then we talked some more, making plans about when we'd begin our 'Project'. Both of them thought it would be about a week before they'd be ready for us to do the deed with them, so they asked us if maybe for a few days before that we'd abstain from sex, so we would each have a good amount of semen on hand, when the time came. Grudgingly we agreed. "And, No hot tubs, or tight undies either!" Bren directed. "Not until after we're pregnant!" "Fine!" we agreed. "Um... can we ask that you not tell anybody just yet, until we tell the boys?" I asked. "Sure," Liz said. "When are you gonna tell them though?" "I don't know," I said, thinking about how things seemed to be off between them at the moment. "How about not til we're pregnant at least?" Bren suggested. "Good idea," Tom said. "Well, maybe we'll know by Thanksgiving, and we can make the announcement then?" I suggested. Everyone thought that sounded good. We talked a few more minutes, then told the girls we'd speak with them later, and we hung up. "Damn!" Tom said, grinning. "We're really gonna do this aren't we?" "Yes we are Daddy!" I said, grinning! Tom grinned back at me, but I could see his eyes were moist. The size of his grin told me they were tears of happiness though. * * * We got up then to go shower, and I realized Buddy was missing. "Buddy?" I called. No dog. I opened the curtain a crack and looked out at the parking lot and scowled. "I guess Simon finally deigned to come home!" I said, as I saw him and Buddy off in the distance, heading for the ball field across the street. "Yup, and isn't it nice we don't have to walk the dog right away?" Tom said, having joined me and peered out as well. He smiled slightly, and looked tentatively at me. "Still not happy he just announced via text message that he was sleeping at a friend's, rather than asking first?" Tom asked. "A little," I said. Then seeing Tom's look I added, "Look, I know he's old enough, and in general I trust him to make the right choices, but... with things as they are with him and Ethan, I'm just not completely happy about how last night played out. "I know," Tom said. "But, it may really be very innocent, and he just joined one of the group sleepovers some of the kids were having after the bonfire." "Or, he finally got together with Jean-Luc," I said, scowling yet, and looking at Tom. "You said you noticed them together at the game last night, then they disappeared." "Well, we'll just have to wait and see what he says," Tom said. * * * We went and showered then, and once we were dressed, went to the kitchen, and found Simon and Buddy, who'd just gotten back from their walk. Simon had fed Buddy and changed his water. He'd also set the table, and was just pouring himself a glass of orange juice when we walked in. When he looked up at us he looked tired, unhappy, and slightly guilty. "You OK?" I asked. "Uh Huh," he said. "I was just gonna start some bacon." "That sounds good," Tom said. As Simon reached into the refrigerator for a package of bacon I'd taken out of the freezer the previous evening, I asked, "So, where'd you end up spending the night?" "You don't want to know," he said, sadly. "Oh, yes I do," I said, pointedly. Simon looked at me, and I saw a flash of fear and guilt in his eyes. "I'd really rather not say," he said, a moment later. "But I was safe, and I texted I was sleeping at a friend's. I didn't want you to worry." It was then that I caught a faint whiff of beer on his breath. "Were you drinking?" I asked. Guiltily Simon quickly looked down at the carton of juice he was closing, and I could see his ears turning red. "I had a beer, so I couldn't drive, so I spent the night at a friends," Simon said. "I was trying to do the right thing." "Where did you have the beer?" Tom asked. "On school grounds?" "No," Simon said. "At my friend's." "OK, I get that you were trying to do the right thing, and I'm happy you didn't drive after drinking," I said. "But, the right thing to do would to have not had the beer in the first place, because you're not of age yet. On the other hand, since you did have a beer, and therefore couldn't drive afterward, rather than spending the night somewhere else, you should've called me to come get you!" "I know," Simon said. "So, were you really at a friend's?" I asked. "Yes," he said, sounding a little testy. "I'm not lying to you." "OK," I said. "So why don't you want to tell me who the friend was that you stayed with?" I was surprised, but managed to retain my composure when Simon abruptly spun around and directly faced me. He had suddenly turned angry, and his face wore an almost nasty look, one I'd never seen on him before, and nothing like he'd ever directed at me before. "Fine!" he snapped, loudly and defiantly. "I was with Jean-Luc! Are you happy now???" "Not really," I said, simply. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see that Tom looked a little devastated. Quietly and a little sadly he asked, "What about Ethan?" Simon's eyes began to smolder then, and they darted back and forth between us, then landed back on me and a little angrily, but somewhat carefully, he said "Look, I'm not trying to disrespect you, and I know you don't like it, but seriously, I'm nearly an adult, and who I'm friends with is my business. You really can't decide that for me! It doesn't work that way!" Then, before I could respond, he turned on Tom, and a bit more nastily, snapped, "And if you think your golden boy is so innocent and perfect, you better think twice!" With that, he spun around, slammed the door open, and charged out of the room and down the hallway, leaving Tom, Buddy, whose mouth was dripping from a big drink of water he'd been having, and I, staring after him in surprise. "I'm sorry about that," I apologized to Tom. "You don't have to apologize to me about anything," Tom said. "I feel like he's my son too. I'm just sorry he's taking out his frustrations on you. You've done nothing to deserve treatment like that from him." I let the air out of my lungs, and looked at Tom, and said, "Apparently our boy is growing up, and feels he's old enough to handle his relationships without our help. And, unfortunately, because we grew so close to Ethan too, it just makes it that more difficult for all of us." Looking miserable, Tom asked, "Do you think they've split up, and are moving on without each other?" "I really don't know," I said. "He kinda made it sound that way, but, we obviously don't know the entire story." "Should we call Ethan?" he asked. "No!" I said. "Let him cool down a little, then I'll go tell him we love him and we're here for him. Then I'll drop it, and we'll wait and see what happens." "But... what about Ethan?" Tom asked. "He knows how to get a hold of us if he needs us," I said. "Besides, it may just be that Simon's still mad at him for not coming home this weekend, and that's all it is. We don't want to screw up and let Ethan think things are worse than that, and make matters worse between them. Maybe they'll work it all out yet. We can always call Ethan later on if we need to." Quietly then, we set about making breakfast. While I cooked some bacon and eggs, Tom made us a couple cups of coffee, and toast for everyone. When breakfast was ready, I told Tom to wish me luck, and headed down the hallway to get Simon. * * * Simon's door was closed, so I knocked, and said "Breakfast is ready!" "I'm not hungry!" Simon replied. He didn't sound angry. In fact, it sounded to me as if he'd been crying. "Can I come in a minute?" I asked, adopting a concerned tone. "I'm OK," Simon said, after a pause. "Good, but I'm coming in anyway," I said. I counted to three, then opened the door, and stepped into Simon's room. He was sitting on his bed, his back propped against the headboard, his blond mop somewhat askew, and when he looked at me, I could see he had in fact been crying. "C'm'ere," I said, sitting on the edge of the bed. Without waiting, I reached for him, and pulled on his shoulder. "Why are you being so nice to me, after I was just such an asshole?" he whined, but he let me pull him into a hug, and then buried his face sideways against my chest. "Because, I know I'm not the one you're mad at, and I know you're hurting, and I know that even though you're almost an adult, that sometimes, you just need a hug from someone who loves you!" I said. Simon snuffled and hugged me tightly then, and buried his face tighter against me, as he started weeping again. When he'd gotten hold of himself, and finally let go of me, he looked a little ashamed. "I'm sorry for being such an asshole," he said. "Apology accepted," I said. "And just for the record, yes, you are almost an adult, and you're right. Nobody can decide for you who to be friends - or more, with. That's totally up to you. As your father figure though, I reserve the right to give you advice, any time I want, whether you ask for it or not. What you do with that advice is up to you though. I do hope you at least consider it though." "I will," Simon said, sniffling, and no longer looking ashamed, but still looking miserable. "You wanta talk about it?" I asked. "Not really," he said. "OK," I said, resignedly. "How about you join us for some breakfast though? Might make you feel better if you eat something." "Hmpf," Simon snorted. "It won't, but, I'll come eat." "OK, c'mon then," I said, and I got up and headed back to the kitchen, with Simon trudging along slowly behind me. * * * When we arrived back in the kitchen, Simon again looked embarrassed. "Um, I'm sorry I acted like such a jerk earlier Tom," He said, barely able to look at Tom. Tom grinned and reached out and pulled him into a bear hug, and said, "You don't have to apologize to me. And you know I love you no matter what! Right?" Tom and I both were a little surprised when Simon wrapped his arms around Tom then and hugged him tightly, and began weeping again. Sadly, Tom laid his cheek against Simon's blond hair, and held him tightly, until he'd finished crying. "I meant it," Tom said, when Simon finally released him and pulled back a little. Tom leaned forward and kissed him on the forehead. "I love you no matter what Simon." "I love you too," Simon said, snuffling. "So... what's got you so upset?" Tom asked. "I'm sorry Tom, but I really don't want to talk about it. At least not just yet," Simon said. "Well, OK," Tom said. "But Greg and I are both here, if you change your mind." "I know," Simon said. "Thanks guys." Simon reached for a plate then, and stepped over to the stove, where the food was all on low to keep warm, and he served himself a large portion of food. Then Tom and I divied up what was left onto our plates. Finally, we all sat down and started eating. We all ate about half the food on our plates, with nobody talking. Finally, hoping to cheer things up a little, Tom asked, "So how'd you like the game last night?" "It was cold!" Simon said. Then thinking a moment, he asked, "Who won anyway?" "You didn't stay til the end?" I asked. "No, we were too cold, so we went over to Jean-Luc's house. He lives right nearby," Simon said. Before I could say anything Tom quickly said, "We won! 35 to 20. It was a great game!" "Cool! Sorry we missed the end of it." Simon said. "The bonfire was good too - that would've warmed you up," Tom said. "Bet it would've," Simon said. I wanted to ask what Simon and Jean-Luc had done over at Jean-Luc's house. Apparently Tom read my mind, and when he caught my eye, gave a slight shake of his head, indicating I shouldn't, so I didn't. After a couple minutes, without looking up, Simon quietly asked, "So, I don't suppose either of you has heard from Ethan?" "No," I said. "Me either," Tom said. "Um, when was the last time you spoke with him?" "I don't remember," Simon said, his eyes watering. "Last I heard from him was his voice mail on Wednesday, saying he wasn't coming home." "A-and he hasn't called since?" Tom asked, suddenly sounding a little worried. "Nope!" Simon said, his tone suddenly sounding annoyed again. Tom noticed he was getting agitated, and said, "Well, I'm sorry about that Simon." Looking up, Simon saw that Tom looked sad, and his annoyance dissipated, and he became sad again himself. "Thanks," he said, and he looked nearly ready to cry. "So, what're you doing today?" I asked, hoping to change the subject. "Nothing," Simon said. "Mario gave me my shift back for tonight, so I'll go to work later. I guess maybe I'll take a nap for a while now though." "A nap?" I asked. That was unusual for Simon. "Uh yeah," he said. "I'm a little tired." "How much sleep did you get last night?" I asked. He did look tired. "Not much," he said. "So, just what were you and Jean-Luc doing all night?" I asked, finally unable to contain myself. "Nothing!" Simon snapped, suddenly looking both agitated and guilty. "W-we just hung out!... but, please don't tell Ethan - either of you! It'll just make things worse if he finds out! Please???" As he looked a little urgently back and forth between us Simon suddenly seemed very guilty, and almost desperate that we agree. "It's up to you when, or if, you tell Ethan about your evening with Jean-Luc," I said. "We won't mention it to him, if we hear from him. But, Si, keeping a secret like that, is not a good idea. Someday, he'll find out, and then it will cause even more trouble. So I advise that you let Ethan know you're friends with Jean-Luc, and that you had a sleep-over at his house. Because if he finds out some other way, he'll think you're trying to hide something from him." "Agreed," Tom said, before Simon could respond. Simon gave a big sigh, and looked miserably back and forth between us. "It probably really doesn't matter anyway," He said, dully. "I don't think things could get much worse between us anyway." Then he quickly got up, took his plate to the sink and set it in it. He turned then and said, "C'mon Buddy." He left the kitchen then and headed down the hallway, with Buddy, tail down, trailing sadly behind him. Tom and I looked at one another, and we both sighed. What had become of our happy family? * * * The rest of the weekend was rather quiet for us. Simon worked Saturday night, and Sunday remained in his room until the football games came on on TV, then he came and joined Tom and I. Monday, Simon worked on a school project for a while, and Tom and I ran errands, did chores, and caught up on our own school work. Through it all, none of us heard a word from Ethan. Tuesday, we all returned to school. That night, Simon's phone finally rang. It was Ethan. Simon went down the hall to his room to take the call. Unable to help ourselves, Tom and I snuck down and listened by the door. From what we could hear, their conversation was very strained on both sides. We could tell that Simon thought Ethan was hiding something, and when he didn't tell Ethan about Jean-Luc, we expected Ethan could tell Simon was hiding something as well. To us, his voice sounded like he was, so we guessed Ethan would hear it that way too! It was an oddly calm, and generic conversation they had. Ethan apparently talked about the symphony visit, and Simon mentioned the homecoming game, careful to give the score, and mentioned the bonfire was great, and that he'd been able to work Saturday night yet. In the end, when they hung up, Simon sounded relieved to get off the phone, and we expected Ethan might have felt the same way too. After he hung up though, Simon sat thinking a minute, then broke down sobbing. I really wanted to go in and comfort him, but since we were spying on him, listening at the door, I couldn't. With tears in our own eyes, Tom and I quietly retreated to the living room. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next chapter of our story will be published shortly...
