I mean, you haven't been to school in what, six weeks?" mom asked me. "Yeah, something like that. But I am ready to start back. Oh, and I'm gonna get my job back I hope." I replied. "Well, good. I'm sure Mr. Kelley would love to have you back working in his store." "Yeah," I walked into the kitchen and used the house phone to call Tommy. After four rings his voicemail came on. I left him a quick message then went back to studying. Dad walked in the kitchen glancing at me and mom, but not speaking. It's been a few days since he blew up and we have yet to say anything to each other. Mom told me that he's been silent to her as well, but she said not to worry and that he's just being a stubborn jackass. After an hour of studying chemistry, psychology, American government, and English I decided to have another short break. I called Tommy again, but again he didn't answer. I dialed his house phone this time. "Hello?" Stacy answered. "Hi Stacy, it's Zac," "Oh, what's up, Zac?" she asked, sounding surprised that I called. "Well, Tommy isn't answering his cell phone and I was wondering if you could maybe tell me where he is or what he's doing?" "Um, uh, h-he said he was going to the, uh, store to get some things for...dinner." she said as if she didn't know what to say. "Okay, can you have him call me when he gets home then?" "Absolutely," Stacy said. "Bye, Zac." "Bye, Stacy." Mom then walked back in the kitchen. "Who was that, dear?" "It was Stacy. Tommy isn't answering his cell phone and I was hoping that she could help me out, but she sounded like she was covering for him." When I said that mom kind of walked away from me. "You wouldn't know anything would you?" She looked at me awkwardly. "Of course not," "Mom, I know you're lying!" I ran from the kitchen and up to her in the living room. I looked her in the eyes, but she couldn't look back. "Tell me what the hell is going on." "Zac language," she said. "I don't know anything." She walked back in the kitchen and started to do the few dishes that were in the sink. "And even if I did know something I wouldn't be allowed to tell you." I was starting to catch on to what she was doing. "But I can ask questions and you can nod. Technically that isn't saying anything, if you knew anything I mean." "Well, yeah, I guess." "Is Tommy out shopping for me?" She nodded. "Is he going to surprise me with something tonight?" She nodded again. "Okay, that's all!" "I only asked you two questions." "But that was two questions too many." She turned away and walked upstairs. The only thing left that I could do is finish studying for the finals I have on Friday. You know, after two hours of looking over psychology and American government I realized something. You need to be emotionally strong to make it in the government. I mean, if you are really sensitive and can't stand to lose then running for the mayor of a city or governor of a state then that just isn't for you. In my case I wouldn't be in anything that involves the government; not one of my strongest subjects. The entire time I studied I had one thing on my mind: Tommy. The way his hair curls at the ends; that fresh smell he always has; his beautiful smile that exposes his straight, white teeth; the skin covering his body that always feels soft and smooth; a body to melt for; and an uncanny ability to make me smile just by saying hi. "Honey," I heard someone say, but I was lost in my own little world. "Zac," "Huh? What?" "Zac, you're drooling," my mom laughed. I wiped the drool from my lips and began laughing myself. "Oops," "What were you thinking about?" "Um, you know, just some things," "All right," she said. "I'm going out to the store. Do you want anything?" "Actually can you get me some bubblegum ice cream?" I smiled innocently. "Sure, I'll be back in a little bit." As soon as she left I called Tommy one last time. This time, however, he answered the phone sounding a little out of breath. "Hey babe," "Hey, you sound pretty out of breath." "Yeah," Tommy coughed. "I couldn't find my phone." "Oh, so, where've you been?" "Uh, I had to go to the store for some food so I could cook for my mom tonight." he explained. "Okay, well I just wanted to call and see what you were doing. I miss you." "I miss you more," I giggled. "I seriously doubt that right now." "Would you like to come over for dinner?" he blurted out. "Yeah," "Great, be here at seven," "It's a date," I said. "Love you, babe." "Love you too." He hung up the phone leaving me to wonder just what he was up to tonight. Whatever he is planning I just can't wait to see him again. Seven o'clock came faster than I wanted. Not because I didn't want to go, but because I still had quite a bit of homework to finish. But I sucked it up and started to get ready. Mom was helping me pick out a nice outfit for tonight, but I couldn't understand why. I was just going to Tommy's for dinner. We weren't going out anywhere or anything, I think. We finally agreed on a red dress shirt with black jeans. I made sure to grab the bubblegum ice cream before I left so that we could have some dessert. I'm sure Tommy had dessert already, but a little ice cream with his plans wouldn't hurt. Mom walked me to my car and she acted like this was the first time I've ever gone out of the house. I did not know what her problem was, but I didn't have time to worry about as I just pulled up to my boyfriend's house. I knocked on his door and within three seconds I was staring at the most beautiful boy I've ever seen in my life. "Hi baby," "Hi Tommy," I smiled broadly hearing his cute names for me. He grabbed me by the hand and gently pulled me inside. He took my jacket and hung it in the closet then walked me into the dining room. "Wow," "Surprise babe," Tommy said softly. I turned around to look him in the eyes. He was standing behind me with a shy look on his face and his hands behind his back. "Tommy this is so...sweet." "I've been planning this for a while, but never got around to it. And I was really nervous about it. I didn't know if you'd think I was weak or something." "I've never thought you were weak, and never will. This is one of the sweetest thing you've ever done for me." I gave him a sweet kiss before looking back at the dining room he prepared for me, for us. "But what about your mom?" "She agreed to leave us alone for the night. She went out to a bar." I laughed. "I've never thought of your mom as a bar type." "She's not. I dropped her off so she could have some drinks. Knowing her she'll have one beer and then just eat the rest of the night." Tommy laughed. "Well," I said, my voice cracking a little bit. "What's for dinner?" "Oh, baby, don't cry." Tommy said softly. "I'm sorry, this is just so sweet of you to do." I lightly cried. Tommy wrapped me in his arms and held me. "I love you, Zac." "I love you so much, Tommy." We stayed in each others' arms before moving to the table so we could eat. What Tommy cooked was the best I've ever had. He made a steak gumbo and served it in a sourdough bread bowl. I've never had gumbo before this night, and I can't believe what I've been missing. Tommy's gumbo was so great. I can't really explain the taste. Maybe like a beef stew, just better and way more flavorful. "So, did you like it?" Tommy asked. "Oh, God yes. I've never had gumbo before and I can see what I've been missing." I said, rubbing my stomach. "Ready for dessert?" he asked. "Dessert? Shit!" I ran outside with no coat and into my car to get the ice cream that I brought. When I walked back in Tommy was laughing. "I brought some ice cream, but as you can see it needs to be put back in the freezer." "Yes, I can see that." he laughed. "So, what is for dessert?" I handed Tommy the bubblegum so he could put it away. He put the ice cream in the freezer then opened the fridge and pulled out a pie. "I made a mixed berry pie and..." He trailed off as he opened the freezer once again and pulled out the bubblegum ice cream. "Babe, we can't eat that, it's all melted." "No, I bought this today. I remember you telling me how much you like it." I smiled broadly. "Aren't you just the sweetest guy?" Tommy cut two pieces of the pie and scooped some ice cream on our plates. He sat down next to me this time and gave me my plate. Before I could take a bite he stopped me. "I want to try something, Zac." he said softly. He took my fork out of my hand and fed me. I picked up on what he meant and my smile, if it was possible, grew even larger. I took his fork, picked a piece of the pie, and fed him as well. It was the cutest thing I've ever done. Until our pie and ice cream were all gone we continued to feed each other. After we cleaned up our mess Tommy led me to his room where he began to kiss me with all the passion in the world. His tongue roamed my mouth with a reason. "I love you so much, Zac." Tommy moaned in my mouth. "I love you too, Tommy." I managed to get out. Suddenly he stopped kissing me and took a few steps back. I looked at him in confusion, but he gave me a reassuring look. He took off his shirt and stared at me. I took off my shirt as well. Then he took his pants off. I followed suit. We both stood staring at each other. Tommy then hooked his thumbs inside his briefs and slowly pushed them down to his ankles. Standing in front of me was the most beautiful boy I'd ever seen in my life. And he stood in all his glory. I hooked my boxers and pushed them down the same as he had. Tommy walked up to me and gave me a quick kiss. He pulled me to the bed and lied down then tugged me on top of him. "I want you to fuck me." He whispered it in my ear. The feeling of his warm breath sent chills down my spine. "Okay," I whispered back and gave him a sloppy kiss. Tommy grabbed a bottle of lube from his nightstand and lathered my member up. I was close to cumming at the feel of his hand on my member. Tommy lifted his legs and placed them atop my shoulders. I lifted his butt slightly and started to slide into him. At first I went slowly, just so he could get used to the feeling again. I saw no signs of discomfort so I began to slide out and back in. I kept a steady pace for the first few minutes. "Oh, oh, God, I love you, Zac." Tommy moaned. Without slowing my thrusts I leaned forward and loving entered my tongue in his mouth. His hard member was poking me in the stomach, begging for some attention. I slid my left hand under his head and just held him. My right hand grasped his member and began jacking him off. I continued my thrusts into him. We were a sight to see at that moment. "Tommy, I'm gonna cum real, mmm, s-soon." I panted. I thrusted my hips into him faster than before. My climax was so close I could feel it. "Cum in me, Zac. Do it for me, baby." Tommy said sexily. Tommy's words through me over the edge and I came with one last hard thrust. I must have shot at least six or seven squirts into him. And apparently after feeling me cum Tommy came as well. He shot just as much as I did. As we both finished cumming I went numb and fell on top of Tommy. "Babe, I can't really breathe..." Tommy groaned. I giggled and rolled off of him. "Sorry," "No problem," he smiled widely. "That was one incredible orgasm, Zac. You came inside me pretty hard." "Well you came just as hard I imagine," "It felt great," "It felt awesome," Tommy rolled over and laid his head on my chest. I moved my arm and placed it on his side. There were no words that were spoken between us while lying on his bed. All that was heard was our gentle breathing and an occasional car going by. It wasn't until about nine when a different kind of sound was heard; a phone. "Hello?" Tommy answered. "All right, I'm on my way." He hung up the phone and looked at me with puppy dog eyes. "I have to go get mom." "Oh," I said disappointedly. "Sorry," "Don't be sorry, she's your mom, I don't mind. It just sucks we can't stay like this forever. We don't even go to the same school." "I know that really sucks." "I don't know how I'll manage tomorrow. It seems like forever since I was last at school." "I'm sure you'll do fine, babe. I have all faith in you." "Means a lot coming from you," I smiled. He kissed me. "Means a lot to have you," "Do you want me to drive? That way if your mom needs help you can concentrate on her and only her?" "Sure, thanks, Zac." "Anything for my babe," I got up and started putting my clothes on. Tommy did the same and we were out of the house in five minutes. Tommy gave me the directions to the bar and within another five minutes we were there. His mom was standing outside by the curb and when she saw us pull up she started to wave frantically. We both thought something was wrong, but after pulling closer we noticed a huge smile on her face. Stacy opened the back passenger door and hopped in. "Hey guys," "Are you all right, mom?" Tommy asked, turning around to face her. "Oh, yeah, I'm fantastic." she beamed. "I take it was fun?" "Yes, yes, it was a lot of fun. I need more nights out like that. You should have seen how many guys were hitting on me. I felt twenty years old again!" Stacy said. I could definitely tell she was drunk. "You still look like you're twenty." I said. Tommy looked at me like I was crazy. "Aw, thank you, Zac." Stacy said as she leaned up to the front and caressed my cheek. I drove home while trying to keep Tommy company since Stacy passed out on us. But within a few minutes I was pulling up the driveway and assisting Tommy walk Stacy in the house. Once we got her into her bed we went in the living room and lied on the couch until about ten. That's when I figured I should be getting home. "Well, I should go home. It's getting late and I need to get to bed so I'm not lagging tomorrow." I sighed in disappointment. Tommy sighed disappointedly as well. "Yeah, same here," I gave Tommy a passion filled kiss. "Too bad we didn't go to the same school." "For sure," "I love you and thank you so much for dinner tonight. That was so special to me." Tommy embraced me in a hug. I wrapped my arms around him while desperately trying to fight back tears. Although, when we parted it was Tommy who was crying. "Babe, what's wrong?" "I'm gonna miss you. Hell, I already do miss you and you're right in front of me." Tommy tried saying without sobbing, but he failed miserably. "Aww, Tommy, don't worry. I will call you everyday once I get home, okay? And we'll still see each other as often as possible." I reassured him while pulling him back into a hug. "You promise?" "Absolutely," I whispered into his ear. * "Okay, mom, I'm leaving." I shouted before I made my way to the front door. Mom came running down the stairs and hugged me. "Have a good day, sweetheart, and if you have any problems just call and I will handle things." "Thanks, but I'm not a baby you know?" I laughed. "I know, but just in case." "All right, well, I gotta go." I kissed her cheek then ran out the door to my car. According to the schedule I had in my head I was already running two minutes late. Just as I started my car my cell phone went off. I didn't check the ID before I opened it. "Hello?" "Hey babe," "Oh, hey Tommy," I said, surprised by his call. "I just wanted to call you and tell you that I hope you have a good day in school." he said kind of softly. "Aww, you are just the sweetest guy! And now thanks to you I will have a great day." I giggled. "Well, I have to get in the shower so I'll talk to you later today, okay?" "Sure, babe," I said. "I'll call you around three." "Can't wait, bye." he said excitedly. "Love you, bye." I closed my phone after hearing him hang up. Tommy sure has been acting differently the past couple of days. Maybe it's just that we won't see each other like we did over our vacation. Yeah, that's probably it. When I drove into the school parking lot I wasn't surprised to find it hard to locate a parking spot. But once I finally did it felt like a huge weight was taken off my shoulders. I made it to school fine. I had no emotional break down nor did I even have thoughts of one. I stepped out of my Sentra and took a deep breath of what was about to become my place of work for the next five months or six or something like that. It was then that I felt the urge to cry. The last time I was at school I was with Hunter. The last time... Six weeks ago... I was coming out of a stall in the bathroom when someone grabbed me by the waist and pulled me into their stall. At first it scared the shit out of me being grabbed like that. But when I saw who it was the scared feeling I had was promptly replaced with love. "Hi baby," he said softly. "Hunter, what are you doing here?" I asked him. "I missed you, and I saw you come in here when I was getting McGarth's mail for him." he explained. "Ah," I grunted. "So, are you ready for tonight?" "Oh yeah, I can't wait to go to the fair. And I have a surprise for you when we get back home." Hunter said seductively. He wrapped his arms around my waist and planted a kiss right on my lips. "Mmm, and I can't wait till we do get back home." I grinned wickedly. ...I'm sorry, but that's all I care to remember right now. If I dig into my past I will sink into a depressing abyss that I won't come out of for days. Luckily for me the bell rang which meant for everyone to start heading to class. I grabbed my backpack and headed off for my first period of the day, government. Walking through the mass of students I couldn't help but notice everyone seemed oddly happy this morning. Of course, this would only last until one of their teachers gave them homework I'm sure. With one last deep breath I opened the door to the portable and calmly walked inside. The class was already half full of students. I remembered most of them from the last time I was in this room. They all looked at me either with shock or sympathy clearly showing on their faces. "Uh, good morning, Zac," Mrs. Williamson said to me. She also showed some shock on her face. "Morning," I said casually. "How was your break?" "Mine was very good. What about...yours?" she asked hesitantly. "It was the best ever," I proudly said. "Good, I'm glad." I went to my seat with all the dignity I could muster. The final bell eventually rang and everyone took their seats. Mrs. Williamson asked how everyone's vacation was before she began her reviewing for the final exams which, unfortunately for me, are this week. The class groaned at having to do work in the first hour of the school day. See, told you. The rest of the period I was completely lost and confused. Mrs. Williamson kept going on about gerrymandering and foreign affairs. In my mind the only thing that kept going on was Tommy. And before I knew it the bell rang. I quickly packed my stuff up and headed towards psychology. That class went by all right. Everyone again looked at me with shock and sympathy; everyone except Mr. Umshaw that is. He wasn't exactly what you'd call a "nice" teacher, but he knows what he's doing I'll give him that. The only thing that I didn't like about that class was that that's the class that Hunter and I had together. My emotions so far were stable and clean. I'm actually pretty surprised at myself. In truth, I do feel incredibly upset, but I have to keep it in until I get home. Anatomy and physiology was next and by far the hardest class yet. Even before I had a six week break the subject was still very hard for me, but I always, usually, love a challenge. I got the same reaction from everyone as I had from the first two periods. However, this time was different. Someone actually spoke to me after class was over. "Hey Zac," a girl said as she walked up to me. "Um, hi," I said, not wanting to be rude, but I had no idea who she was. "I'm Sarah," she said, extending her hand. I shook it and smiled. "What's up?" "Well, I just wanted to say sorry for what happened to you. I couldn't imagine if I lost my boyfriend in that way much less any other way." Sarah said sadly. She looked me in the eyes appearing as though she was searching for some kind of emotion. "Thank you, Sarah, I appreciate that." I said, trying my best to hide my emotions from her. All I had to do was hold it all in until I got home in only two and a half hours. "I also wanted to invite you to eat with me and my friends and boyfriend." "Uh, sure, where do I go?" "We eat around the benches by the English building. I'll see you there." she said, walking away without another word. "Thanks," I muttered to myself. Sarah is one of those preppy, cheerleading girls who dates the jockey, jerk off football players. Although, she has been dating this guy for a long time, or so I've heard. Finally, fourth period came and went. English is nothing special just before lunch. In fact, it makes life seem to go by three times slower. Once that bell rang I calmly walked to the spot where Sarah said to meet. Five minutes passed and I was worried I was set up, but luckily I finally saw her with several other students following. "Hey Zac, glad you showed up." she said, smiling brightly. A few of the girls with her eyed me over and either smiled or frowned. "Yeah, well, it's nice to be noticed. All day today I've gotten the same looks from everyone." I said, glancing around at everyone noticing that I was getting the looks once again. However, these looks seemed to be hiding much more...hatred than others. "Don't worry about them, babe. By the end of the week everyone will go back to their own boring lives." Sarah laughed. "I guess," I smiled. Sarah sat down on one of the benches followed by the other girls. That is when the chaos and gossip began, but only some of the girls indulged in such garbage. Meanwhile, Sarah was busy talking to her boyfriend leaving me alone to think about my boyfriend. I pulled my cell phone out of my pocket and began texting him. Right after I got the first message sent, something I never thought in a million years would happen to me...well, happened to me. "Son, you're gonna have to give me the phone." a rather large security guard said. Sarah and her boyfriend turned their attention to the situation unfolding before them. Some of the other girls did as well. "Come on, I'll put it away." I argued. "Sorry, but you know the rules." he also argued. "Look I'm gonna level with you. This is my first day back in six weeks. I've never gotten in trouble in my life, at school anyways. Can't you just let me off with a warning?" "Come on man, he said he'd put it away. It's not like he's doing drugs or anything." Sarah's boyfriend spoke up for me. "Give me the phone," the guard demanded this time. Something inside of me snapped. All my life I gave in to other people who were higher in authority than I. Today was the last straw. I have gone through enough suffering and sorrow to be forgiven for using my damn cell phone. "No," I said, staring into his dark eyes. "I'm telling you for the last time. Give me the phone and no one gets into trouble." "And I'm telling you for the last time. No." I stood up, keeping my ground. A crowd of students gathered around the area probably waiting for me to get tazered or maced. "All right then, let's go to the office. You're suspended." "What the fuck ever," I dangerously said. Just like him demanding me I give him my phone was the last straw for me, me saying that line was the last straw for him. Suddenly, a massive paid of arms grabbed me by the shoulders and slammed me up against the brick wall behind the benches. He twisted my arms around and handcuffed me. Then he proceeded to forcefully lead me into the office where I'm sure I would meet a grim punishment. * * * * * * * * * * * * ATTENTION readers: there is only ONE chapter left of Beautiful Lie.
