I felt the warm shots of cream hit all around in my mouth. As I sucked the last drop out of his member, his cell phone rang. I rested my head on his heaving stomach right when he answered. "Hello?" Tommy asked breathlessly. "Oh, hey," He suddenly pushed me off of him and stood up. I just looked at him madly and decided I might as well dress too. "No, we weren't doing anything special." Again, I gave him a mad glare. I walked out of his room with the kitchen in mind. When I cleared the doorway I heard Tommy quietly say, "Yeah, let's hang out. I'll drop Zac off at his house. Actually, he has his own car. I'll just say I have to go into work or something." Now that my mouth was dragging on the floor, I fought the tears back. Tommy just totally trashed on me without any regrets. Maybe Erik was right. Maybe they are destined to be back together. Maybe I'm just Tommy's temporary fill-in. Nah. There is no way Tommy would do that to me...I think. The house phone started ringing. After several rings I shouted sarcastically, "I'll get it!" I picked up the receiver. "Hello?" "Hey Zac," "Hi Stacy," "Is Tommy up?" "Yeah, but I think he's in the bathroom." "Ah, well, will you tell him to call me when he gets a chance?" "Sure, no problem." "All right, well, I'll see you later." "Bye," I hung up the phone then went back down the hall to Tommy's room only to find that he wasn't there. As I focused on the sounds, I realized that he was in the shower. Now, I have two options. I can either stay with Tommy and invite myself, or I can just leave now while he's in the shower and pull a guilt trip on him. My instincts pointed me to option number two. I hastily packed up my things and ran out to my car, not leaving behind a trace of Zac Grant. I grabbed my cell phone and dialed Brian's number. After a few rings, a very tired Brian answered. "Ugh..." "Good morning to you too!" "Ugh..." he groaned. "Let me talk to Danielle. I know she's there." I let out an impatient sigh. "Hello?" A much more lively voice answered. "Hey Danielle, did I wake you up?" "Nope, I was just about to wake your lazy bother up though, so thanks." "No problem," I laughed. "So listen, I am in need of a favor. Would you like to go out on a date today?" * "Jeez Zac, I can't believe we are doing this for you. You totally owe me big time." Brian said seriously. Danielle reached in the back seat and popped him on the side of his head. "He doesn't owe us anything you jackass." I laughed at their cliché bickering. "Okay, I need you to call me if anything happens. Tommy probably won't really show anything, but I know damn well that Erik might." "Sure thing Zac. I'll call you when we're done." Danielle said, getting out of my car with Brian in tow. I drove around town for the next half hour thinking about Tommy. What if he decides he wants to get back together with Erik? What the hell am I going to do then? He has helped me move on from Hunter. There's no way he can leave me now. I'll be a wreck if he does. Another fifteen minutes later I figured that they should be about done by now. But just in case they weren't I decided to call. "Hey you," Danielle answered her phone. "Ready?" "Actually yeah, I was just getting ready to call you." "Cool," I laughed. "I'm on my way." Within a few minutes I was pulling back up to one of the several mall entrances. Danielle and Brian were waiting for me outside. As I came to a stop, the two lovebirds separated from their lip lock and got in the car. "So, what happened?" I asked quickly. "Here," Danielle said, handing me a power Jamba Juice. "I figured you might need this." "Oh God, what happened?" "Well first let me tell you that Tommy doesn't want Erik. I could easily tell this every time he moved away from him when he'd rub against his leg or something like that." she said. "But Erik definitely wants Tommy back." "Great," I continued driving home while Danielle kept on with the events that were played out earlier. Right as she said the last word of the epic, my cell phone rang. Before I answered I checked the ID and it showed someone who I really didn't feel like talking to at the moment. "Hello," I said. "Why the did you just leave this morning?" Tommy asked in serious tone. "My mom needed my help, and you were in the shower. I just left figuring you wouldn't miss me." I said heatedly. "Um, hello!? Of course I'd miss you and I do right now. Why would you think I wouldn't?" Surprise was evident in his voice, but this is all his mess. "Gee, let me think. Oh yeah, this morning when Erik called you told him that we weren't doing anything special even though I could have sworn I just got done sucking you off!" I couldn't believe I said that in front of my brother and his girlfriend, but they didn't seem to mind. "And when you said that I had my own car, and that you'd lie and say you had to go in to work. Yeah, what would fucking make me think that?" "Zac I..." "No, Tommy, there's no excuse for that. You totally were going to blow me off for Erik today." "Well he's only here until Sunday and after that it's just going to be me and you again." "Right now I'm not thinking anything like that." I said coldly. "What?" Tommy asked worriedly. "Wait, can you come over so we can talk about this? Please." "I don't think talking would be a good idea for me right now. I might say something I'll regret." "Why are you being so selfish? Erik was my best friend before he moved away. And now that I finally get to see him again all you can think about is how you feel." he shouted into the phone. "I'm being selfish? You were the one who was going to lie to me!" "But I didn't did I?" "No, but that's only because I didn't give you the chance. Do you still have feelings for him?" "What?" "Yeah I know you like him Tommy, but I'm beginning to wonder if I'm just some toy until the time is right." "Zac of course you're not a toy." "Oh really? Well then why did Erik try and kiss you last night? You only shook your head probably because you knew I was there. I'm sure if I wasn't you would have jumped on him faster than I'm driving right now." "You saw that..." he trailed off. "You're damn right I saw that." "Please Zac, just come over so we can talk." he pleaded. "Fine, I'll be over there after I drop Danielle and Brian off at my house." "Actually, can you come over like around six? That's when Erik's parents are picking him up." My mouth plunged open. Without replying I just slammed my phone shut and dropped it on the floor. Danielle looked at me with concern as tears trickled down my face. It rang again, but I ignored it. Danielle, however, answered it. I tried to drown out the conversation, but it was obvious that she was talking to Tommy. What the fuck do I care right now? He wants me to come over yet he wants me to wait until later tonight until Erik leaves. His thoughtlessness is starting to bug me and it's only been a few hours since this morning. Danielle hung up the phone and gently placed it one of the cup holders. She looked at me and shook her head, mouthing the words "He's an idiot." We arrived at home a little while later. Not wanting to be dragged into any kind of conversation with anyone I immediately ran up to my and lied on my bed. Sleep took my thoughts for the rest of the day. * I woke up with a start. Tommy was sitting next to me on my bed with a sad look on his face. The memory of yesterday's events was clear enough for me to scowl at him. "What are you doing here?" coldly I asked. He sniffled and replied quietly, "I'm really sorry for how I acted yesterday. And what happened on Monday." My expression softened hearing his apology. I couldn't be mad at this boy who apparently didn't even advance on the moves Erik was giving him yesterday. "Okay," He looked up at me with his tear stained eyes. "Please don't leave me. You're the best thing that has ever happened to me." I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him in close. He began sobbing uncontrollably while I rubbed his back. It killed me that I actually made him as upset as he is. But then again he did all that stuff to me so it is almost like an even trade. But now, all that stuff is forgiven and hopefully nothing like this will ever happen again. "I love...you so...much." he managed to get out between sobs. "I know you do. And I'm sorry too." I sighed. Tommy pulled away from me and looked stunned. "Don't be sorry. Why should you be? This is all my fault." Then he grabbed me back in the embrace. Can't argue with that can I? I could have been a little less cold, but it's all behind us now. "So, we still need to talk about something." I said softly. I let go of Tommy cueing him to pull away. "Sure," he sighed. I wiped some tears away and gave him a smile. "Okay, um, I need you to tell me if you and Erik were ever a couple." He looked at me hesitantly before answering. "Kind of, I mean, we just...hm..." "Explain it," "Well, it's hard too. We weren't really boyfriends, but we occasionally messed around." The look on my face showed shock and anger. Tommy jumped in quickly. "You were my first given and received blow job. Erik and I just jacked each other off. We never kissed. We never did anything other than that. Oh, except the occasional hug." he explained calmly. That eased my nerves a lot. Now I believe him. "Good," He curled up in my arms and lied down with me. The feelings I felt at that moment holding my boyfriend again are indescribable. I know I can trust him, but I still have to worry about Erik. But now that won't be a problem. "Babe, you have to keep Saturday open all day, okay?" Tommy asked. "Why? What's Saturday?" I asked, perplexed by his sudden plan. "Well, Saturday is our three weeks. I have some special plans for us that day." he said slyly. He laid his head on my chest and traced circles on my stomach. "Guys," dad said, knocking on my door. "Can I come in for a second?" "Uh, sure dad," I said casually. He barely opened the door and poked his head in. "Saturday night around eight, do you want to go to a bachelor party with me and Brian? My friend Pete is getting married and he invited some of the guys." "Dad, Tommy and I are celebrating our three weeks on Saturday." I said, trying not to crush his spirit. Tommy looked at me and looked guilty. "Well, the party isn't until eight, won't you guys be done celebrating by then?" he asked. I just stared at him silently. "All right, all right, how about I buy you guys some beers?" I laughed, "Fine dad, we'll go for a little bit." "Great! Well, you two have fun until then." And then he walked out. I kissed Tommy and then said, "It's okay that we go right?" "Of course," he said. "I'm more excited now." Later that day, Tommy and I just lazed around my house. He often apologized for what happened and every time he did I said that all is forgiven. He told me that tonight we're going out for dinner. Usually my Wednesdays are somewhat boring, but today isn't so bad. "So, you want Chinese food tonight?" Tommy asked me, scooting closer. "Sure," I smiled. "Can we go soon? I'm getting really hungry." Babe," Tommy laughed, "we just had lunch like two hours ago. And it's only five." "Ugh, well you know me." "Yeah, I do." Tommy gathered his keys and wallet then took me to the mall. We ordered our food and found an empty table. I started a conversation with him and that lasted us the rest of the night. Before we left, however, Tommy needed to use the bathroom. I told him I'd wait for him at the table. But after fifteen minutes of waiting, I decided to see what was taking him so long. I snuck in the bathroom being as quiet as can be. Thankfully, no one else was in there. Only one stall door was shut and it was the handicapped one. I walked closer to try and hear the voice that was coming out of the small space. "Erik I told you I can't tonight. In fact I can't any time when I'm with my boyfriend. He is everything to me." I smiled at hearing Tommy's sweet words. "No damn it. Now I've been arguing with you for long enough. You call me when I'm out with my boyfriend and when I'm going pee. So now I'm going to let you go." I was about to knock on the door, but Tommy wasn't done talking to that bastard. "You know, I thought Zac's distrust in you was just paranoia, but now that you are being like this I can see that he had every reason to. I don't know if I ever want to talk to you again Erik." There was another long pause before Tommy spoke again. "I know you're sorry. I'm sorry too. But I still can't do those things with you. I love Zac a lot." Okay great. Tommy and Erik have made up much to my dislike. I figured that this was it; that I could finally have my boyfriend to myself again. Erik is really good at manipulating people obviously. "Well, I guess I could come over after I drop Zac off. But I swear to God Erik that if you pull something you better believe that I will kick your ass." You know what? I'm done with this. His ditching me has come far enough. I mean for fuck's sake, we're on a date! "Fine, one blow job and that's all." The search for power begins when we're quite young. As children, we're taught that the power of good triumphs over the power of evil. But as we get older, we realize that nothing is ever that simple. Traces of evil always remain. * * * * * * * * * * * * Feel free to send comments to the e-mail given at the top of the chapter.
