Date: Tue, 8 Feb 2005 12:24:05 -0800 (PST) From: JMH Subject: Circle the Noun chp 19 It was an unusual feeling to which David woke up to, that of two guys kissing him from both sides. It was also a surprise to him that he found himself in the middle, as he would have assumed that Nathan would be. But no... David was in the middle of the bed, on his side, Nathan kissing his chest while Philip was kissing his back. "How did I end up here?" David said to himself. "Well it was your idea Dave," Philip chuckled. "It was," Nathan agreed. "Man... I wish I could remember," David tried to think back. "Well what is the last thing you remember?" Philip asked as he wrapped his arms around both David and Nathan. "Uhmmm... we were going at it." "That we were. Nathan was sucking you off while I was rimming your ass... you hungry bottom," Philip laughed. "What?" David said surprised. "You did really enjoy it," Nathan ginned. "You enjoyed it even more when we shoved that dildo up your ass," Philip added. "No way!" David jumped from the bed taking hold of his ass with both hands. "He's joking David," Nathan said as he tried not to burst into laughter... he failed. "Why you," David said right before he tackled Philip right out of the bed. The two of them rolled over each other until David, the much stronger of the two ended up on top of Philip, resting on Philip's ass while his arms held his back down. By this time both of them were hard. "Its time I show you who the real bottom boy is!" David laughed. "Then show me!" Philip laughed. He had been taunting David in the hope that he could get David to fuck him. David looked at Philip's tanned, smooth ass with lust. He even thrust his cock a few time up and down Philip's crack but then he turned his head and looked at Nathan who had a surprised looked on his face. "Not this time," David finally said, getting off Philip but not before giving him a slap on the ass. "Oh come on... you are suppose to be the power top," Philip complained. "Well I have a confession to make..." David blushed as he went back to the bed to snuggle with Nathan. "You are still a virgin," Philip said with a genuine look of surprise. "When it comes to fucking... yeah." "So why do you think you are such a top?" Nathan chuckled as he hugged David. "Well... my dad is a top. I look like a top. So I always assumed that I was a top." "And because my dad is a bottom you have assumed that I am," Nathan said as he gave David's bare ass a slap. "Well... looking at your dad you would not think of him as a bottom even if he has a cute ass," Philip said. "Hey... that's my dad you are talking about." "Yeah... and your dad is hot! He looks like he is still in his twenties except for the gray hair. I bet he still has a six pack." "He does," Nathan was embarrassed to admit. "But he didn't get those until I was eight which would have made him ummmm... 32." "Well I would not mind him taking me to bed," Philip made the mistake in adding. "My dad would never do that," Nathan said with deep seriousness. "Why... I'm 18." "Trust me Philip... he wouldn't," David began to explain. "Once in a while one of the interns at the firm developed a crush on Uncle Josh. Can't blame them, Josh is very attractive and he acts like a surrogate father to them." "So has he ever fooled around with them?" "Never... he even fired one who could not take a hint... walked into his office stark naked with a hard on." "Oh man... but why not... they are in their 20's, adults, or was he trying to be faithful to Andrew?" "No... it had nothing to do with that. It was all about power. Dad being their boss and mentor feels responsible for the interns but that responsibility is to teach them how to be good lawyers and people. Playing with their emotions is not something Dad sees as right." "But if it is the guy's choice?" Philip insisted. "Yeah and if something went wrong all my dad would have to do is fire the person or write him a bad review. It would not be a relationship between equals. As my dad sees it, they are still kids," Nathan explained. "And uncle Josh seems to like the older guys anyway," David laughed to lighten the mood. "Robert?" Philip asked. "Uncle Robert is only eight years older then Dad," Nathan defended. "Yeah... but can you see dad with a guy eight years younger then him," David sent back "No... they would not be mature enough for him," Nathan clarified. "Mature meaning old," Philip laughed. "No... emotionally mature... but now that I think about it uncle Robert is not a beacon of male maturity," David spoke up. "So I guess it is all about age." "No..." Nathan laughed. "I think I just realized what it is... and it is a lot like us," Nathan said as he tightened his hug on David. "And what is that hon?" David grinned. "It is the big brother, little brother thing that they have always have. Uncle Robert is immature but not when it comes to protecting dad. With all of uncle Robert's faults my dad knows he can trust him like no one else." "Do you trust me that way?" David had to ask. "Well I don't know if it is as strong as dad and Robert have but yes I trust you. You've always looked out for me." "That's cause I have always loved you," David said as he turned around to face Nathan. "Took you a long time for you to tell me," Nathan whispered as he nuzzled his nose against David. "Took you forever to notice," David whispered back as he puckered his lips to form a kiss. Seeing that this was a David and Nate moment, Philip picked up his briefs and made his way for the door just as he was reaching for the doorknob he noticed three wrapped condoms stuffed under the door. Philip chuckled... Robert and Josh must have guessed what was going on in the bedroom. Picking one of them up, Philip threw one on top of David who was now on top of Nathan, kissing him while his finger's tickled Nathan's sides. Seeing that they did not notice, Philip chuckled as he left the two. In the hallway Philip put on his briefs and headed for the kitchen. Inside there was already a pot of coffee brewing, bagels on the counter, and a twelve-year-old girl looking up at him. "Hey Ashley," Philip blushed... feeling a little exposed in his underwear. "Hi Philip!" Ashley smiled as she went over to him with arms wide-open making Philip wished he had his pants on. "Hey Philip... sleep well?" Kyle spoke up from behind scaring him. "Kyle..." Philip said shocked as he tried to turn around to face Ashley's father but couldn't with her arms wrapped around him. "Let me get you a bathrobe," Kyle grinned as he went away for a little bit. It took a minute for him to get back and during it Ashley did not let go of Philip. In fact she tried to have a conversation with him about dolphins and swimming. "Come on Ashley... time to get dressed." "Ok dad... but can I see daddy after I get dressed." "Not till later tonight," Kyle said with a hint of worry. "Glenn is having the operation today," Kyle explained for Philip's benefit. "Ok dad..." Ashley moaned but still did not let go of Philip. "Come on sweetheart," Kyle said as he scooped up his daughter and took her away. While Kyle was gone Philip put on the bathrobe and got himself a cup of coffee. When Kyle came back he had an apologetic look on his face. "Sorry Philip... Ashley misses her other dad so she's been hugging every one who comes by. When Patrick came by with the bagels I had to tickle her to get her to let go of him." "It's ok... my sister and I were never close. Now, we don't even talk to each other." "Sorry to hear that. So... how did your family take you being gay?" "They kicked me out." "How could they?" "Well I was already 18 so they had every right to do so." "It might have been legal but that does not make it right," Kyle replied. "Well not all kids are lucky with their families as David and Nathan are." "Yeah they are lucky... of course it might just be that their parents as such good role models that the two of them find themselves gay." "What do you mean?" "Well it is all the nature verses nurture debate. Me, I think it's both. I'm not saying that living in a house full of gay men makes the kids gay, but living in such environment removes a lot of the social programming most kids get." "Yeah... but both David and Nathan lived in the closet." "Well yeah... they do live in the real world and the real world is still not fully accepting of our kind of love." "Coach seems pretty cool with it." "The guy I'm living with right now." "Is he gay?" Kyle asked. "I don't think so... he's been married before." "Well if you have not noticed so have Josh and Mike and while they might not act like a pair of flaming queers they are as gay as they come." "So you are saying..." "Maybe your coach is gay... or bi... or even god forbid, straight!" Kyle laughed. "You think I should try to make a move on him," Philip grinned. "No... don't... he's not made a move on you has he?" Kyle asked concerned. "No..." "Then just take what he is doing as kindness." "He is hot... he used to be on the college water polo team." "I thought you were interested in Nathan?" "I am... and as well David. Right now all I'm looking for are good friends to have some fun with." "Well you do know that David is interested in a more serious relationship with Nathan." "I know... but they don't seem to mind me joining in their fun." "Well so long as it is just fun... that's ok. Just be sure you don't really fall in love with them." "Well... I do love them... but as a couple. Robert was right... the way to keep Nathan was to accept David. I'm even doubling the fun doing that." "This was Robert's idea?" Kyle moaned. "Yeah... he told me something about how things didn't work out because he and Andrew could not get along." "Yeah... Robert and Andrew... what a pair. Funny how things work out... Andrew was the one who was big on monogamy but he turns out to be the one who leaves." "From what I have heard Josh didn't really love him." "Not true... Josh did love Andrew. I bet deep down he still does. The problem was that Josh loved someone more. Two people to be exact." "Well I know Robert. Who is the other?" "I think you should know that... his son Nathan. With Robert Josh had the love of their profound friendship... something that Andrew could not compete with. With Nathan, Josh had the relationship of a very close father and son. That left only romantic feelings between Andrew and Josh and while romance can sustain sexual interest, a marriage it does not make... especially with someone like Andrew who wanted all of Josh." "I see..." "So I guess Robert is in some way right... if you can get along well with the two of them you can be both a romantic partner and friend. You just have to accept the role of being second all the time when it comes to them." "Hey... I don't mind that," Philip smiled. "You think you don't mind that cause you are so young. You don't know yet what a real relationship feels like. Being second can feel very lonely once you notice that regardless of the effort you give, you never become the most important person in their lives." "I guess..." Philip said gloomily. He had been looking for support instead of Kyle bursting his bubble. "Hey... don't worry about it Philip," Kyle said as he wrapped his arm around Philip's shoulders. "David and Nathan are some of the best people you could ever have a part of your life. Just don't forget your own needs in trying to be their friends." "My own needs?" Philip asked confused. "Finding yourself your own boyfriend silly" "Hey... I'm not ready for anything serious." "Then why did you go after Nathan?" "Well first he's cute... " "No doubt about that," Kyle agreed. "Second... he is nice to everyone." "Just like his father," Kyle smiled. "Second he has the family that I always wanted." "Minus the resident drama." "Well even with the drama. My family would have had a critical melt down by now." "Well trust me it's not as easy as it looks. Mike was on his good behavior last night." "Yeah but everything still worked out." "Ok... anything else?" Kyle asked with raised eyebrows. "Well yeah... I did have a crush on Nate's dad." "Ohhhh I see... getting close to the father through the son." "No... not like that... well not too much. I just thought that if I dated Nate I could hang around Mr. Harper more. You know ... maybe get a hug every now and then." "Well you do know that Josh does not go for young guys?" Kyle said seriously. `Yeah... David and Nate keep reminding me that. I don't know... maybe I'm looking for a father figure." "Just you hanging around Nate and David a lot will make you a part of the family. Soon Josh will be giving you advice on college, dating while Robert will give you tips on dating." "Yeah college..." Philip sighed. "Is something wrong?" "Well I know I want to go to college but with my family disowning me I don't know how I will afford it." "I see. Well there are always work study programs and college loans." "Well there I'm screwed. It is all need based and that is determined by how much my dad is worth... which is a lot. So even though I know he won't help me out, most of the need based scholarships are out of my reach." "Dang... but what about academics and sports." "Well my grades are not the best in the world. I only pulled a 980 on my SAT's and that was after two tries and several prep classes. Sports I am good at but its not like water polo is common at most schools." "I'm sure that the larger state universities have them." "Yeah but that means I have to compete against a lot of people for them. I'm pretty good, was named to all state, but I don't know if the colleges will notice." "Well then we will just have to see what happens. Don't worry Philip, if you can get accepted then I'm sure there is a way for you to pay for it." "Thanks... every time I think about school I think I'm going to give myself an early ulcer." "Has to be stressful," Kyle nodded. "Want to see a shrink?" "What!" Philip laughed. "Well Andrew gave us a call... checking on me and the others. So he has not completely cut himself off from us you see." Kyle began to explain. "Well any way after I chewed him out about the flowers he sent and he apologized as he had trusted his new boyfriend with them. Well anyway after I forgave him and he forgave me, Andrew told me that Greg wanted everyone to go into therapy so we could learn how to be civil to each other." "Post divorce therapy?" Philip chuckled. "For Greg's sake, yeah..." Kyle said. "I don't see the problem. How soon till he turns 18?" "In January." "So in three months. He can then choose who he want to live with, parental rights or not." "Yeah but does he really want to hurt his dad by moving away?" "He could live at both homes." "That is what we are hoping for," Kyle explained. "But like any divorced couple it means that both parents have to get along to some extent." "I see... so why does that involve me?" "Well... since David, Nathan, Robert, Josh, Jessica, Greg, and Andrew will be getting help, why not get you some help at the same time." "I don't know if my problems equal to what they have," Philip said nervously. "Well lets see... you just broke up with your family... you are living with your coach when you are not sleeping over at other people's houses, you seem to have commitment issues, and you don't know what you want to do with your life... sounds like you need some help to me." "Ok... but no meds... all I here on TV are those commercials on antidepressants with the words...sexual side effects, slipped in at the last moment." "No... I'm sure you won't need any meds... just some one to talk to." "Still sounds funny to me," Philip said unsure. "Well just give it a try... and what I mean by try is three of four times." "Dang..." "Well that is how long it took Glenn to decided it was a good idea." "You and Glenn have therapy?" "Of course... you don't live with a guy for over forty years without some arguments. We sometimes don't tell each other what is bothering us, which can poison a relationship. So once a year we go into therapy for a few weeks... it is like an annual flu shot. Not all of us can be Josh and Robert." "What do you mean?" "Well those two trust each other completely. Even back when they were dating and Robert would still sleep around, Robert would tell Josh about every guy he did. Those two have so few boundaries between them it is disturbing." "Well I wish I was like them," Philip fantasized. "Trust me... most relationships take a lot more work then Josh and Robert. Those two are very lucky. I don't even think David and Nathan will end up being so close. I mean I have never seen Josh or Robert mad at each other. Maybe once those two are married they start acting like a normal couple," Kyle jokingly complained. "Well it gives me hope that the right guy is out there for me." "Well no guy is the "right" guy... really what you can hope for is someone you can trust, love, and find happiness with." "Well isn't that what a "right" guy is?" "You would think so but there is always someone out there who looks hotter, has more money, share more of your interests, and seems like a better match." "Yeah... I guess." "Don't worry about college, don't worry about your family, don't worry about Nathan and David, and don't worry about not meeting the love of your life, it will all come in time." "Thanks." "Now how about I get some breakfast in you. Bagels are nice but taste better toasted and with scrabbled eggs on top." "Is that part of a heart healthy breakfast." "Nope... but I have to do something with the three dozen eggs in the fridge." "Ok..." Philip smiled as he followed Kyle into the kitchen. *********************************************** trandar2002@yahoo.com http://groups.yahoo.com/group/adultwritingworkshop/
