This story also contains boy to boy sexual activity and if this is not to your liking read no further. Jarod was silent for a while before responding, "Dear sweet Davey, I have no regrets about making love to you and would do it all over again and suffer the consequences. I love you Davey and I always will." After making that statement he suddenly stood up trying to reach Davey across the table and all the while crying out, "I LOVE YOU DAVEY AND ALWAYS WILL." ... The guard who was with him lunged forward at the same time setting off an alarm which straight away brought in three other guards to help grab the screaming Jarod and remove him from the room. All the while he was yelling how much he loved Davey and always would and that nothing will ever come between them and the love they have for each other. Then he made another statement which sent shivers down the spine, "If I can't have you Davey then the both of us will be going to heaven together, believe me." Meanwhile Keith had grabbed Davey holding him back with Johnny helping him as another guard arrived to take them back the way they came. They were shown into another reception room so that Keith could try and calm Davey down. The guard came back with a soda for each of them and the three of them sat together in a huddle hugging each other, "Davey I'm so sorry I made a mistake bringing you here but I must admit I half expected what had happened to occur. Please forgive me for taking such a big risk and exposing you to so much danger. Do you fully realize what Jarod said as he was being taken away?" Davey nodded. "That's right if he can't have you no one else will. What about poor Johnny here who loves you so much, are you just going to toss him to one side just to be with Jarod?" He paused to let that statement sink in before continuing, "You are not showing any affection for your current lover at all because you are infatuated by a much older person. No matter what way you look at it or what way in your mind that you work it out, Jarod broke the laws of the land by allowing you to seduce him. HE SHOULD HAVE RESISTED AND SAID NO." Keith spoke those words loudly and slowly hoping that they would sink in and remain in Davey's subconscious. Johnny Walker all this time had been sitting with his head down wondering what was happening to his world which all of a sudden appeared to be collapsing around him. He loved Davey so much and always thought that Davey loved him just as much in return but now he wasn't too sure. "Where does this leave me Davey?" He asked with tears in his eyes. This brought Davey back to earth with a jolt. "Johnny, I'm so sorry but I do love you so much and I feel bad that I've neglected you today. Please forgive me because I could never live without you." "But you just said the same thing to Jarod, and I think you need to look at our relationship and make up your mind who you want, me or Jared?" Davey sank his head between his knees sobbing quietly to himself. No one spoke for about five minutes with Keith deciding to leave well enough alone for now and not push Davey too much because he was right now in a very fragile state. Finally Davey raised his head leaning over to grab Johnny's hand while looking at him straight in the eyes, "Johnny I have been so stupid by blaming myself for Jarod's prison time. What you said Keith was right, he broke the law because of my age and if he truly wanted to help me he would have resisted my sexual approaches to him. Johnny, you are the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. I love you and no one else but if after what happened today and in the past you feel you don't want me anymore because of my stupidity with Jarod I will understand." Johnny stood up moving across to Davey and hugging him tight, kissing him long and hard before saying, "Davey I couldn't and won't ever leave you I love you more than anyone else in the world." They began to get more and more amorous so Keith gave a discreet cough reminding them he was there and also where they were, "Well boys now that's settled maybe we should put all this behind us and head for home." This brought both boys back to earth and they stood up adjusting their clothing so that the obvious bulges weren't so obvious. As they prepared to leave the prison and as Davey said later, "I'm leaving this chapter of my life behind with no intensions of ever going back." On their way back in the car both boys sat in the back and were very quiet. A couple of times when Keith checked in the mirror some heavy kissing and cuddling was going on. He didn't say anything, preferring to let them get re-acquainted and put the prison visit behind them. In fact when they got back to the hostel there was a message waiting for him from the prison warden wanting to know if the boys were all right. He called him back straight away confirming the boys were good and that Davey had now closed that chapter of his life, so he will not want a return visit. The boys went straight to their rooms and continued what they started in the back of the car but didn't get very far before Jonathon was knocking on the door reminding them that training was due to start in thirty minutes. He also hinted that he had some great news for them but wouldn't elaborate any more. Almost immediately after Jonathon, Davey's new mom called and wanted to know how the visit went. He didn't say too much or tell her the full story except to say that was a chapter in his life which was now finished. This made her and the rest of the family very happy. Training that night as always was strenuous and Jonathon made both of them work extra hard. Finally when he called it a night both boys were physically and emotionally drained. They had forgotten about the news he hinted that he had for them until just before they were about to leave, "I told you guys I had some news for you and I almost forgot to tell you what it was." That got both of them interested, "The American gymnastic association have extended an invitation for you Davey to compete in the all American Championships which is just one month away. Apparently their scouts have been out and are impressed with your performances and they would like to see more of you. This could well turn out to be the next big step to the Olympics and also the World Gymnastic Championships which I believe are being held in Moscow in four months' time. Plus these will be the lead up to the Olympic Games in Barcelona in July/August. Personally I don't think you will be ready until the 1996 games in Atlanta Georgia, but it appears that there are some gaps in the US Gymnastic team which officials are eager to fill. Anyway Davey this is going to mean a lot of extra hard work over the next few months. If it's all right with you I will accept the invitation for you to take part on the American championships. Everything will hang in the balance until we see how you do there." Both boys were speechless and could understand why Jonathon didn't mention it earlier because it would certainly have put them off in their training. It was an excited Davey who phoned his mom telling her the news. She said hang on a minute while she put him on speaker phone and called the whole family in. This took a few minutes because she also got Johnny's family in as well. Once they were all assembled he had to repeat everything that Jonathon had told him emphasizing that nothing was set in concrete yet. Once he had finished the two boys could hear clapping and cheering at the other end and his older step brother came on saying that the two moms were crying with joy and that his company wanted to be the first to sponsor him. By the time the telephone conversation ended both Davey and Johnny's minds were in a whirl, Cuddling up to his boyfriend Davey said, "I never ever thought my life would turn around as much as it has. So much has happened to me in the last year from almost being killed twice to being saved by some of the best doctors in the world. To have a new family to look after me and most importantly of all to fall in love with the kindest considerate wonderful guy in the whole world." Their cuddling slowly turned into a great hour or so of love making by two young men so much in love. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The next morning the good news about Davey spread like wildfire throughout the hostel and Sally along with Bethany thought it would be rather nice for the whole group to gather together tonight and have a little celebration. The two owners agreed and plans were made after consulting Jonathon who grudgingly allowed the guys to have about thirty minutes to join everyone. This put Sally and Bethany in a good mood until one of the security guards called Sally to say that overnight their car which was in the hostel car park had been trashed. They both dashed outside to find that the car had every window smashed and anti-Gay and Lesbian Graffiti had been sprayed all over the vehicle, " Oh my lord the whole car is a total write off." Sally said while Bethany used a few more expletives to describe how she felt. Sally called the police and a patrol car soon arrived, "Sorry ladies there's not much more we can do except file a report. You should expect something like this to happen in a place like this." One officer explained, "And what do you mean by that?" Bethany demanded to know. "Well you're all gays or lesbian's living here aren't you, so what do you expect?" He told her sneering all the time he was talking. Both Sally and Bethany were getting hot under the collar so Sally put a call through to Luke explaining what was going on and the attitude of the two officers. Luke said he would be there straight away and true to his word he and Paul the other assistant chief arrived together. When the two officers saw who had arrived in the other police car they went a deadly white and Luke went to speak to his mother and her partner while Paul took the two officers to one side, "I want a full report of what occurred here officers and I want the truth." Both officer's hummed and stuttered trying to wriggle out of what they had said but the more they carried on, the deeper the hole they dug for themselves, "I think you have said enough for now and I suggest you go back to headquarters and wait for me there." With their heads hung low both of them went back to their police car and headed off back to base. While this was happening Luke was consoling his mother and Bethany and at the same time arranging for a tow truck to take the wrecked vehicle away. He also contacted his mom's insurance company so a rental car was available right away. Luke at first couldn't fully understand why only his Mom and Bethany's car had been targeted when most of those vehicles parked in the front area of the hostel belonged to people who either supported gays or where gay themselves, "I think they targeted your car to get at me and young Jason and for the support of gays in the police force which the chief has been advocating in the media whenever and wherever he can." Both ladies were inclined to agree with him after thinking about it. Then Luke went on to explain that he would include that thought in his report to his boss. Just then the truck arrived to take away their wreck and not long after a representative from the rental company arrived with their replacement vehicle. Kissing his mom and Bethany goodbye Luke and Paul headed back to the station, where Paul made arrangements for the two officers involved to stand down until a formal hearing on their conduct could be held. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Later that evening, Luke in the comfort of his own home was cuddling up to Pru and discussing the plans for their wedding. They bowed to the wishes of Pru's mother by deciding to have a church wedding and Pru had just raised the subject of who Luke wanted as his best man. "I've been thinking about that darling and originally I was going to ask Paul. But, what do think of the idea of having Jason as my best man and his partner Francis as a groomsman. I have grown to love and admire Jason over the past few months and think it would be an honor for me to have him as a best man. I know he is so much in love that it wouldn't be right not to have him involved." While Pru was surprised at Luke's choice she was also happy because of what she had heard and seen of Jason, he was a fine young man. They then discussed bridesmaids and Pru wanted a couple of her old school chums. Luke had no objections and let's face it, he did not have much say in the matter anyway. The next morning as soon as he got into work he asked Jason to join him and Pru for a cup of coffee which Jason thought was strange, but accepted anyway. Once they had settled down with coffee and home baked cookies made by Pru, Luke asked him to be his best man and Francis his groomsman. Much to Luke and Pru's surprise Jason burst into tears. While both of them, one on each side comforted him they where puzzled at why he was so upset. Jason when he had calmed down a bit apologized for his crying and explained, "Because Francis and I are gay we have been shunned and shut out by both our families at functions like baptisms, weddings and other family gatherings. I am so happy that you are bestowing on me what I consider an honor and I know Francis will be thrilled also." This really hit home for Luke who knew that his mother for many years had remained almost in seclusion while bringing up Luke on her own. This was a result of her being raped while in college and coupled with her resulting hatred of men during this time. Sally was also deserted by her family and was totally on her own until she met Bethany. Now Jason and Francis were experiencing the same thing and as Luke explained to Pru later, he wasn't going to let them be isolated but was going to take Jason and Francis under his wing, treating them as family. Later that evening when they both arrived home Jason told Francis what Luke and Pru had asked of him, that both of them would be involved in their wedding. Francis also broke down, so happy that they finally had someone who cared. Later that evening laying in each other arms and after making gentle love they discussed how their luck had changed since Jason joined the El Paso police department. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Davey's training schedule increased considerably to make him ready for the ultimate climb to the top of the Gymnastic ladder. Only a week away was the State school championships in Dallas. Jonathon arranged with Davey's school principle that he attend classes for only half a day and spending the rest training. Plus Jonathon had worked out a special diet for him to help bring him up to peak health and efficiency. He had been back to his doctor on a couple of occasion's to make sure he was healthy enough to compete and had fully recovered from the trauma he suffered at the hands of Garrett. Talking about Garrett he had arranged with some of the other guys and with Keith Jamieson's permission to help Davey out by running with him in relays, so they could encourage him all the way. In turn this attracted the attention of the local media and soon after that the state and national press and TV. While Jonathon didn't want all this publicity getting in the way of Davey's training, he had no option. While out running the media was on every street corner and Davey had several offers for exclusive interviews with thousands of dollars being offered. This was all getting out of hand, becoming a nuisance for Davey, Johnny and Jonathon. So his new stepbrother stepped in providing him with a publicist to handle the media and to issue regular press releases. The weekend of the school state championship his brothers company chartered an aircraft to fly the whole school team to Dallas as part of his companies sponsorship deal and of course the whole family went along as well. One other media problem which was forever being raised was the gay relationship between Davey and Johnny. The publicist had a big problem keeping their relationship from becoming major headlines. Even Johnny had been offered thousands of dollars if he told all about his life with Davey. Johnny's father who was of course the press secretary for the Governor of Texas and was away at the State seat in Austin wasn't too pleased with the publicity and mutterings going on about his son and his young lover. He had already expressed his concern that they were too young and it was only because the Governor himself had a gay son that he stayed out of things, although he was able to help with some of the hounding press. It was decided that the team would leave El Paso the Friday afternoon before the beginning of the games. This was so they could have a restful evening before competition started the following morning, especially since some of the track and field events were scheduled to begin as early as eight in the morning. Davey's events didn't start until ten so he had time for a light run and some loosening up before he went into the stadium for the competition. As many of the events as possible were being televised. Because of the publicity surrounding Davey every one of his events would be televised not only throughout Texas but the whole of the USA. This was putting extreme pressure on Davey but his Kung Fu training and the good luck messages he kept getting from all over America kept him focused on the job at hand. If anyone was suffering from nerves it was Jonathon who wasn't officially a school coach and although he had accreditation to move among the gymnasts he wasn't officially Davey's coach. On the day of the championships he was a bundle of nerves as he watched his protégé warm up for his first event which was the rings. The calmest person there was Davey himself who spent thirty minutes or so of quiet time with only Johnny allowed to be near him. When he was called he calmly went through his routine, never missing a beat and bringing cheers from the massive crowd that had come mainly to see just him. He performed perfectly and when he had finished he raised his hand to acknowledge the standing ovation he received. Johnny then dropped a towel over his shoulders and led him back to his chair. He was then congratulated by his team mates who only a few short weeks ago were jeering at him and making anti-gay remarks. He quietly sat down waiting for the judges marks confiding in Johnny that he thought he did ok and should get at least a couple of nine's. In fact he was wasn't paying particular attention until the crowd went berserk and Johnny surprised him with a kiss, which was captured by a photographer and appeared in every newspaper in the States, "What's wrong, what's happening?" He asked Johnny who was yelling at the top of his voice along with everyone else in the stadium, "YOU SCORED A PERFECT TEN." Davey still didn't fully believe it until an official came to take him back onto the podium to acknowledge the cheers from friends and competitors alike. Jonathon came running up to give him a big hug, sobbing his heart out while he was doing it and the media were fighting each other for the best shots. Apparently in the history of state gymnastics no one had ever scored a perfect ten. It took almost thirty minutes for the stadium to return to normal so that the competition could continue. Davey in the end was taken by his own security to a private room so he could have a bit of rest and recover. Mind you several gentlemen in blazers with the Olympic rings on their pocket came along to congratulate Davey. Jonathon who had by now recovered enough to be able to talk, properly told him that his performance on the rings alone was enough to almost guarantee a spot on the American team, "But don't get complacent, you still have a long way to go. His brand new older brother came in to hug and kiss him along with his boyfriend saying that offers of sponsorships were flowing in thick and fast. From companies like Adidas and other major companies with some incredible sums of money being bandied around. The next thing which surprised the two boys was a phone call from Johnny's father saying how proud he was. Then the Governor came on telling Davey how proud he was to know him and wishing him good luck in his other events. Not long after the school coach came to get him so that he could warm up for his next two events which included the parallel bars and soon after that the horizontal bars. The final event being his weakest one, the pommel horse. Once he appeared back in the stadium the crowd began to get very noisy once more. This was obviously putting some of the other competitors off so Davey asked the coach to speak to the stadium announcer asking if they could be a bit quieter and give everyone a fair chance. Soon it was Davey's turn and the marks from some of the others were pretty good. He went into his parallel bars routine totally focused and completely cutting out all the noise being created by the crowd. While he didn't get a perfect ten this time he did get a nine point nine which had him so far in front that he couldn't be beaten. Davey and Johnny also found out later that all the other athletic events stopped so that everyone could watch his performance on the giant screen. His next event the beam followed in under thirty minutes and once again he scored nine point nine. He then had about an hour to wait to compete in his weakest event the pommel horse. He spent a considerable amount of time warming up for this and then a fair amount of time on his own meditating and preparing his mind and body. This time he didn't disgrace himself, scoring once again a nine point nine making him the highest scoring Texas schoolboy ever. The stadium was packed for his medal ceremony and so many photos were taken of the gold medals around his neck that he thought he was never going to get away. On top of that his achievements and courage had spurred his school team mates on to do the best they could and the high school took home the trophy for top school in the whole of Texas. The school principle after talking to the schools sponsor, who is of course Davey's older brother and asked if he could keep the whole team in Dallas overnight and take them for a big meal together. The answer was of course yes and after looking around for a place big enough to take all of them the whole restaurant was booked out just for them. The whole athletics team was on a high and Davey's publicist was finding it very difficult to keep the media at bay. They wanted a major story and would do and pay anything to get one. The big surprise happened when they had all sat down to eat when a big limousine pulled up outside along with a couple of other vehicles and security was everywhere for a good reason. First of all this older guy in a wheelchair came through the door and Johnny jumped up yelling, "DAD." It was his father who had flown in from Austin to congratulate his son and his boyfriend. "He was wheelchair bound from a war wound he received in Iraq but this didn't stop him from being the State Governors press secretary. The next person to come through the door was an even bigger surprise because it was none other than the Governor himself. He had already met Davey and Johnny on several occasions so he didn't need any introduction, he just walked up to the two boys putting his arms around them and congratulated Davey on his historic achievement today, "Being from El Paso myself, I am so proud of you and the whole school team for putting your city well and truly on the map." After greeting everyone the two VIP's sat down to eat with the guys. Johnny Walker senior sat next to his son while the Governor sat on the other side next to Davey. He explained to Davey and his older brother that his chief of staff who is the boy's grandfather couldn't make it due to pressure of work. Laughing he explained, "Someone's got to mind the store." After the meal they both had to leave and head back to Austin but not before they had pictures taken with just about every team member. Johnny followed by Davey leant down to hug Johnny Walker Sr. who with tears in his eyes whispered for them to look after each other. This surprised the boys because he always thought they were too young to be in a relationship and now in a roundabout way he was giving them his blessing. Johnny Jr. said in a low voice, "Does this mean we can sleep together with your blessing?" His father laughed before saying, "You mean to tell me you're not already doing that anyway?" Both boys blushed a deep red giving themselves away in an instance, "I thought so." His father replied still laughing his head off. The governor laughing then said, "I hope I'm going to get the same hugs goodbye as your father did?" Both boys obliged him with a big hug. Once they had left the party settled down a bit and soon it was time to head back to the hotel in the team bus with instructions that the charter flight was leaving straight after breakfast. Before they were allowed into their room security swept it for bugs and hidden microphones. The boys noticed extra thick drapes had been placed on the windows with the instructions that they must be kept closed at all times. It was so that no cameras could peep through and catch them in embarrassing situations. Once they were alone neither of them felt sleepy. Both of them were on an adrenalin high and as they hugged and kissed each other this gradually turned into a long and sexy love making session. Both of them continued declaring their undying love to each other. Of course neither of them wanted to get up next morning, preferring to remain in each other's arms. This wasn't possible so they quickly showered, dressed, packed their gear before heading down to breakfast. As soon as they had eaten the bus arrived to take them to the airport. Because it was a charter flight they were able to go right out to the aircraft on the bus and while their baggage was being loaded they got on the plane. This time the two boys sat right up in front and as the crew came on board they all congratulated Davey. The school principle explained that they had made the national news and Davey was making more headlines than the President. Davey took all this in stride knowing that if he wasn't careful all this hype and publicity would go to his head and interfere with his training. While Jonathon had given him the day off from training he still explained that they only had a couple of weeks before the American Gymnastic titles in Washington to which he had been extended an invite to compete in. Jonathon didn't let out too much information to his protégé but he already knew that if he did well in the American titles he was certainly heading to Moscow for the World titles and Spain for the Olympics. He would be at that time one of the youngest competitors ever in representing America in these events. Both boys slept most of the way during the two hour flight and once they landed at El Paso International airport they were told to remain in their seats until the others had all left. Not sure why, the boys did as they were told. Finally they were asked to leave the plane and walk down the long corridor to the arrival lounge. Once they walked through the arrival doors they were met by a barrage of flashing lights, TV cameras and people yelling and applauding. With the press yelling questions it looked for a while as if the whole thing would get out of hand until more police arrived to control the crowd. A makeshift platform had been placed in the arrival area and Davey and Johnny were directed to sit down at a long table with a multitude of microphones set up to catch their every word. His publicists whispered that the Mayor was going to say a few words and then a short press conference would follow, "If any of the questions asked bother you, just look at me and I will stop the proceedings right then and there." Davey nodded as he took his seat with Johnny by his side. Holding hands under the table they both sat nervously waiting for the mayor who welcomed them back as athletic heroes to El Paso. How proud the city was of not only Davey's achievements but that of the whole team. Once he had finished speaking and the applause died down his publicist explained that they would take a few questions. Of course everyone in the press corps wanted to be first but eventually one question was able to be heard, "What are your feelings right now Davey?" "Everything is a bit of daze right now but I would like to thank many people who helped me do what I was able to do yesterday. First of course is my coach Jonathon Mars who pushed me to the limit knowing that I could do it. Thank you Jonathon. Then there are all the young people at the hostel were I train and also my friends at the high school without who's help and support I would never have reached my goals. My new and wonderful family for all the help and support especially my new parents and my older brother. I never imagined after the way I was treated when I first arrived in El Paso that I would finish up not only alive but surrounded by one of the nicest families in existence. The next person I am going to thank will not be approved by some people here but Jarod my original coach, I say thank you for getting me started and of course big thanks to all my Karate friends who taught me to go into everything I do with a peaceful mind. Finally a big thank you to the person sitting next to me today. The young guy I hope to spend the rest of my life with. My lover, my boyfriend and partner Johnny Walker." After saying that he leaned over kissing Johnny on the lips which caused the camera flashes to blind everyone who sat at the table. Cries and yells from the press asking for more kisses allowed Davey to kiss his lover on the lips several more times before they were ushered away into a waiting car and back to the hostel. Those kisses were soon on the way not only all over America but the world. A lot of heated debate and discussion which brought the gay movement to the forefront ... To be continued, Writers corner. Well what a chapter and I must admit I had tears in my eyes while writing most of it. This time we centered on Davey as he became an overnight success. Will this success cause problems well what do you think? The trashing of Sally and Bethany's car left a sour taste in my mouth but the announcement by Luke and Pru wanting Jason and his partner Francis to play an important part in their wedding was a happy one, but will it end the anti-gay remarks and notes which are still flying around Police headquarters. Of course at the start of the chapter we had the problem with Jarod and Davey and hopefully this as now has been put to rest or has it? Davey in his speech at the airport couldn't help but thank Jarod for getting him started in Gymnastics. Anyway if I forgot to mention anything I'm sure my editor Richie will pick up on it in his comments. Please let us know what you think of this and indeed all my stories. Hugs Trevor Supertev699@hotmail.com Editors corner Great chapter Trevor. I still think that Davey through the Governor should push to get Jarod professional help to get over his love for Davey. Then remove the need to register as a sex addict and let him get on with his life. Hopefully training future gymnasts. He was a good person before all this happened and I believe with help he can be a good person again. I was glad that Davey gave him recognition for his help with gymnastics. One of the best parts of this chapter for me was when Luke made Jason and Francis a part of his wedding. Hope this does not hurt Paul's feelings. I think Luke should make him an usher or something. It made my heart sad and tears to my eyes to see that Jason and Francis were being treated like scum by their own families. It still amazes me that families can be so intolerant. Especially when it is their own son, brother etc. I think Trevor captured everything else I wanted to say. So have a great day and be sure to let Trevor know how much you liked or disliked his story.
