Date: Sun, 31 May 2020 21:49:23 +0000 From: David Lee Subject: Havel House, Chapter 3 Havel House, Chapter 3 Rhett and Ashton had both set an alarm in their phones, but neither needed it to awaken him. They tended to be early risers by nature, and the anticipation of this new experience was an added motivation to be up. "We'd better share the bathroom to keep on schedule," Rhett suggested. "You can shower while I brush my teeth and then we can switch. Please leave the water running and I'll jump in after you." Ashton hoped he was concealing his excitement over being in the bathroom with Rhett when both would be naked. He'd have to be careful not to pop a woody, and that might be a big challenge. After a quick check of the hall, the boys scurried across in their sleep shorts to make their morning ablutions. Ashton shed his clothes while waiting for the shower to warm up. He was pretty sure Rhett caught sight of his bare body by glancing in the mirror. Ashton hurried through washing his hair and body so he wouldn't hold Rhett up. He would have loved to have taken care of his rising problem, but he didn't have time, and he might have panicked if he'd been caught! When he emerged from the shower at half-mast, he came face to face with Rhett in the same condition. Both checked each other out, and both blushed in the process. "I see we both have the same problem," Rhett said, trying to control the squeak in his voice." "Yeah, I'm glad you're not embarrassed to mention it," Ashton responded. "Obviously, we have a lot in common." Rhett wondered if Ashton was trying to tell him something deeper, or if it was just an off-the-cuff statement. However, this wasn't the time to probe. ---------- Getting around early left more time to eat! Coleen made sure the boys had a good breakfast, and she packed them sack lunches, knowing there wouldn't be any served at the school, and they'd possibly be stranded since neither had a vehicle or license. If it weren't raining, they could have ridden bicycles that distance. Brant had already agreed that Ashton could use his. ---------- Due to the intermittent rain showers, Coleen dropped them right at the door to the music wing. Ashton was a little bit nervous about meeting a bunch of new people and was concerned about how he'd fit in. Mr. Dixon didn't present a threat. If anything, his presence would be a mitigating factor. Still, adolescents often aren't as confident as their outward appearance might make them seem. ---------- In the few minutes before the first session began, Rhett introduced Ashton to other kids in the brass section. He had sensed Ashton's uneasiness, and wanted to make him comfortable. Most seemed friendly, but Ashton got the impression that one of the other trumpet players, Griffin Orman, wasn't thrilled to see him there. He hoped he wasn't making an enemy already. Mr. Dixon seated the groups in each section in an arrangement he felt would make the whole ensemble sound its best. Then, he passed out the music. Ashton was instructed to play the higher notes, and Griffin was to take the harmony. The scowl on Griffin's face cued Ashton in on what his hostility was about. "How come I don't get the melody, Mr. Dixon?" Griffin asked. "You've had problems with the high notes this spring, and I didn't want to stress you out." "I thought everyone had to audition. Why does this guy get to do it instead of me? "The district hired ME to be in charge of the band, Griffin. Are you questioning my leadership? Ashton DID audition last week, and I'm confident that he can handle it. "Now, if there are no further questions, may we begin?" Halfway through the first page of the score, it was obvious that Ashton nailed every note, not only in pitch but also in correct rhythm. Mr. Dixon's choice was validated. ---------- At breaktime, Ashton feared how Griffin might treat him. He was both surprised and pleased at Griffin's reaction. "Man, are you a plant?" "Huh? My brother used to tease me that my parents had picked me from a bush in the garden." "No, I mean like a ringer. I think that's the term my dad uses. Like, are you really a more professional person who's been sneaked in here?" "Nope, I'm gonna be a sophomore this fall like most everyone here." "Okay, then I have to apologize for being an ass. You're good! I was bent outta shape because I figured I'd get first chair when Cory left. But, I gotta admit you're even better than he was." "Thanks! No hard feelings," Ashton grinned as the two bumped fists. The rest of the morning passed with great harmony in more than one sense of the term. ---------- Griffin had brought his sack lunch, as had several others. Some who had cars, had headed out for junk food. As the brown-baggers found places around two folding banquet tables that had been set up in the hall for that purpose, Ashton and Rhett laid claim to chairs next to each other. Griffin grabbed the one on Ashton's left. He was as friendly as a puppy. It amused Ashton that the kid he'd thought would be the bane of his existence was now trying to kiss-up. Rhett, on his other side, wasn't as pleased. When Griffin invited Ashton for a sleepover, Rhett's body actually stiffened. "Thanks, but I couldn't do that," Ashton said. "I'm Rhett's guest until my parents get back from Florida. It'll be awhile before I'm settled in my own house. Besides, you don't know me well enough to want my company overnight." "Is Rhett a longtime buddy?" Griffin pouted. "We've known each other for a while, and we have a LOT in common besides jazz band," Ashton said. Before the conversation got any deeper into how well they knew each other, Rhett suggested hitting the restroom before they went to the next session. Ashton took the urinal in the corner and Rhett used the one beside him. That kept Griffin from checking Ashton out as he'd planned to do. He tried not to pout again. ---------- Mr. Dixon decided to record the group before they went home for the day. He wanted to have something for them to listen to the next morning which would let them know what they sounded like and provide a springboard for a few adjustments. The piece was When the Saints go Marching in. Ashton had played it in his former band, so when he was asked to improvise on the final verse, he wailed on his new Bach like a pro. Several kids complimented him when the session ended. Rhett grinned, loving the attention his new friend was receiving. ---------- The afternoon sessions dismissed early enough that Rhett could have mowed one of the lawns he serviced had not the rain left the ground too soft. That wasn't necessarily bad news because the bike trail, which was paved with asphalt, would be fine for riding. They could do that instead of working. Ashton didn't have the clothes to wear or his bike to ride, but Rhett loaned him a pair of basketball shorts, and he could use Brant's bicycle. So, the two of them headed out to the Grant Wood Trail, which was built, in part, on an old fire road and Milwaukee Railroad right-of-way. It was high and dry. Out of the hearing-range of anyone else, the teens could speak more openly than they might have in another situation. "So, how do you feel about Griffin, after he apologized?" Rhett asked. "He seems okay, but he kinda gets into my space." "Yeah, he was trying to flirt with you. Didn't you get that feeling when he followed us into the restroom?" "Yup, that's why I stood where he couldn't see my dick when I peed. By the way, thanks for blocking his view." "That's okay, he's seen me before in the locker room, so it's nothing special." Ashton was on the verge of saying that he thought it WAS special, but he chickened out. What if his developing gaydar wasn't accurate? If he said something suggestive, he could sabotage a budding friendship before it got started. He would have to be careful. "There's a restroom ahead about half a mile. Should we take a break?" "Definitely!" For the next several minutes, Ashton's heart pumped faster, and it wasn't because of how hard he was peddling. Maybe he hadn't mistaken where their conversation could be leading. He hoped to get another look at Rhett's endowment. Perhaps they would compare! The prospect caused the bulge in his shorts to expand. After locking the bikes together in a bike-stand, they entered the men's facility. Unfortunately, it was a very small one with a single urinal and a toilet stool with a partition between. Rhett went for the urinal, and Ashton used the stall instead of waiting. Oh well, at least he didn't have to be concerned about his woody which was already beginning to deflate. Back on the trail, their conversation turned back to their musical experience on the first day. Both agreed that the band was coming together very nicely. ---------- As the two boys brushed their teeth together before going to bed, Ashton was again hopeful that he might get another peek at Rhett's dick. This time, fate wasn't against him. Rhett whipped it out to pee after he'd rinsed his toothbrush. When Ashton pulled his briefs down to do the same, Rhett moved over to give him access to the toilet stool. Ashton saw that as an invitation to join him. Rhett took his time shaking off the remaining drops while Ashton was finishing. Neither was hasty about covering up, and both began to plump up as a result. Back in the bedroom, they stood facing, each unsure of what he should do next. Finally, Rhett took a step forward and Ashton followed his lead. Which one of them initiated their first embrace would be impossible to tell without a video recording. Arms around each other, chests fused together, skin to skin, and bulges nestled side by side - all made for a very intense feeling of connection as well as sensuality. They pulled back slightly to gaze into each other's eyes before their lips met in a gentle, but electrifying, kiss. Then they returned to share a hug which was almost bone-crushing. "Does this mean I won't have to be jealous of Griffin," Rhett asked with a lopsided grin. "Griffin who?" Ashton returned the smile. "I've been hoping you'd like me from the moment we met," Rhett said. "Me too," Ashton admitted. "I've never felt so close to anyone outside of my family before. I mean, Gavin and I are buds, but I don't want my tongue in his mouth." "Ooh, you're such a romantic," Rhett teased. "Maybe I'm not, but I do know I'm horny." "Like I couldn't tell," Rhett joked as he slid his hand under the waistband of Ashton's underwear. "Sleep-shorts are so confining. How `bout we do without `em tonight?" "I'm good with that," Ashton gulped. "How `bout we both climb into my bed?" If they'd have been characters in an erotic story, the teens would have had sex most of the night, and barely slept. In reality, they did share an intimate, but tender, experience. Facing each other with no fabric barrier between them, they kissed, nibbled, and felt each other's body with abandon. Rhett rolled onto his back and pulled Ashton on top of him. Cupping his firm butt, he began to rub their bodies together. They hadn't been on erotic sites enough to have learned the term "frottage," but they instinctively knew how to perform it very well. It didn't take long to produce intense orgasms. In the cooling off period, they continued to kiss. "Even though I dropped out of scouts, I'm still prepared," Rhett joked. "Can you reach the box of Kleenex on my nightstand?" The tissues soaked up the bulk of their output. Ashton wiped off the residue with his T-shirt and the boys returned to cuddling in Rhett's bed. Though it was a tight fit, they slept that way until the alarm awakened them in the morning. Both were grinning as they greeted the new day. ---------- When the boys came into the kitchen for breakfast, Coleen noticed that they were bursting with life. Perhaps it was their anticipation of jazz-camp, but she suspected it was more than that. When she spotted them playing a bit of grab-ass, she felt her sixth sense hadn't steered her wrong. She contemplated asking them if there was anything they'd like to share with her but decided not to. Rhett might not appreciate her hovering over him like a helicopter parent. If there was, indeed, something going on between the boys, she'd likely find out sooner or later.
