RECAP- Last chapter Alex and Kyle had a very heated talk about the past
where Ky once again blew Alex off since he realized his own feelings for
Dan, which he conveyed. Dan also met Kyle's parents in a nice dinner
filled with laughs and a few awkward scary moments for Dan mostly. The
real thriller of the chapter was the end when Teddy saw Aaron walk in
with Tan who is impersonating a school guidance counsellor at their school.
So how is Teddy going to react to seeing a dead man...Walking?

********************* Dead Man Walking - Chapter 16 *********************

[Kyle's POV]

I walked out of my house to the sound of Kevin's car giving a loud honk. I
made my way after saying goodbye to the family.

"Hey guys... Where's Teddy?" I asked as I entered the car.

"Don't know. I asked his parents, but they didn't seem to care. I hate those
people!" Kevin said with a scowl in his face.

"Well they're major assholes, but doubt we should be worrying... I think he
might even pop up with Calvin sometime later." I said with a naughty smile.
Kevin glared at me and I zipped up instantly. Li eyed him weirdly and turned
to me.

"So... Dan met the parents yesterday with that freak show you call family I
bet it was a disaster." Li said sticking her tongue out at me as Kevin drove.

"Well, actually it went pretty great, except he told my mom her cooking
sucked. She did forgive him, but not before giving him a trademark threat.
I wouldn't be surprised if he dumps me today when we get to school" I said
with an exaggerated sigh.

"Yeah right! He's like a fucking puppy when it comes to you. I bet you $50
he's waiting in the parking lot." Li said smirking evilly.

"Hmm... You're on" I said cockily. I know he isn't gonna wait, he knows how
much I hate corny situ......

"HA! TOLD YOU!" Li said as I looked over at Dan, he was leaning against his
car fixing his hair with looking nervous. He was wearing a sleeveless shirt
that showed off his biceps more than they needed to be advertised. He saw the
front of Kev's car and slid on his jersey. He looked especially handsome
today, he had his brown hair styled with some gel and he was wearing butt
hugging jeans, sporting a 5 o'clock shadow, he was smiling. It was an anxious
smile.

"He's waiting..." I said looking at him dreamily, warmth spreading over my
chest. I stared at him as he rubbed his hands together.

"Wow... You find it romantic?" Kev asked with an incredulous look on his face.

"What!? NO! You know I don't believe in romance" I said a little defensively.

"Well you're blushing which is cute, but I still need my 50 bucks doll face."
Li said teasingly.

"Fuck you!" I said as Kev parked in front of Dan's car. I slipped out as he
went off for a parking space.

"Morning" He said as I walked to him. It felt...weird. I was trying to think
of a good way to say hello. This felt more of a relationship than yesterday.
Maybe because of him meeting my parents?

"Good Morning" I said placing a hand on his cheek and giving him a kiss. His
arm went around my waist as he pulled me closer.

"You look unbearably cute today" He said as he kissed my earlobe. I was
wearing the spiked collar he got me along with a white t shirt and a sheer
black wife beater, along with some tight black jeans and white shoes.

"Really? Don't you think the spiked dog collar's too much?" I said teasingly
fumbling for the lock to take it off, his hands grabbed mine.

"Nope, makes you look sexy" He said as he hugged me.

"Well, you look handsome today too, although I don't like you in sleeveless
shirts." I pressed my head into his chest, my arms around his wide back.

"Why?" He said with a saddened voice.

"You have a really sexy body and I don't like other people staring at it.
It's mine." I said with a whine. I don't know, but something about Dan
brought out the childlike selfishness in me. I felt like with him I could
act spoiled, that I could shed my heart to him without a worry. Unlike my
family where I have to put on a strong front and a smile so they don't hurt
more than they already do. You know because of Aaron.

"Haha, well next time I'll bring a long sleeve turtleneck and gloves, along
with a mask" He said as he kissed the top of my head.

"Or you can just tell me you are mine only" I said as I kissed his chest
lovingly. I hated the idea of mushy romance. I hated the feeling of being
someone's world. A little irrational, I know. After Alex, that part of me
died. I hated that beautiful feeling of being someone's number one, only
to then have it ripped away and left in the dark. The fear of being alone
made my hair stand on end, but with Dan all of my fears melted away as if
telling that it was ok to let this one inside.

"I'm yours only. Your property" He whispered sweetly as he pecked my head
again. We stayed there a little while letting a breeze caress our bodies as
we hugged. I felt safe.

"Queers!" I heard behind me. I couldn't help but chuckle into Dan's chest;
I felt a growl surge inside him as he looked at the asshole who screamed.

"Imma beat you to pulp if you ever say a word like that to Kyle again. Got
it JACKSON?" He said as he hugged me tighter.

"You know I'm a professional with the use of knifes, I don't need a prince in
shining armour. I'm not a princess, I'm a knight." I said as he just smiled.

"Still, you don't have to always be strong babe. You can be scared. You can
be angry. You can be sad and you'll always be beautiful in every damn way. I
am so... not letting anyone diss you coz if they do I'll beat em till they
start to feel their teeth. Coz nobody hurts my knight." He chuckled, I did
too.

"So I'm your knight am I? What does that make you? Snow White?" I asked
smiling.

"Nuh uh... I'm prince charming, a prince always has a knight" He answered.

"Since when does a prince charming beat people to pulp?"

"Ok then, I'm Shrek! Happy?" He said with a grunt.

"Well you've got the looks. So it is the most appropriate" I said as he
gasped.

"TAKE THAT BACK!" He said as he looked down at me with a hurt look.

"Nope... You're my Shrek" I said kissing him as he just sighed into my lips.

"Ok. If you say so" He said as he hugged me. His lips still against mine, he
pressed my body against the car. We kissed tenderly for a couple minutes
until we were startled by the ringing of the school bell.

"Time to go" I said, as he groaned and walked with me into the school. We
rushed into class. I left my way, he left his. I looked around and, still no
sign of Teddy. This was very odd and something was starting to nag me at the
back of my mind.

Everything else was slightly unexciting at school, until lunch. I didn't see
Dan anywhere so I sat down alone waiting for my friends to show up. As I
waited I started feeling more and more worried about Teddy. I had even asked
a couple guys if they had seen Calvin and everything came with a negative
answer.

"Kyle" I heard a soft voice behind me.

"Alex" I said as he took a seat in front of me.

"I have been thinking about you. I feel saddened about you and me and where
we ended. I know my feelings for you are more than real, but you get thumping
them over and over again and you say such hurtful things. Of course I loved
you and I would have given my life for you if I had too... I just screwed up."
He said as he looked at me with a fierce penetrating look.

"Ok, Alex it's too early for this. I don't want to talk about it with you
because every time I do I get emotional." This was getting really tiresome.

"Why is that? Why do you get emotional every time I talk to you?" He asked.

"Because it's a painful memory that I just want to leave behind" I answered.

"Because you still feel for me; even if just a small part of you loves me."
He said and before I knew it, he kissed me. He kissed me with suppressed
anger, emotion and guilt and right in the middle of the cafetorium.

There was collective gasp as I gasped and removed my lips from his.

"Shit. What did you do?!" I said standing up.

"I showed you what you mean to me!" He said loudly. I grabbed his hand and
rushed out of the cafetorium, to my tree. He kept quiet as we walked.

"What the hell?!" I turned and screamed at him as we arrived.

"You told me I didn't love you enough to do it! So I did." Alex said with a
proud look on his face.

"But, you don't know what you did?! You just ruined your life. Your dad will
know and then our classmates. Alex you don't have to ruin your life over me!"
I exclaimed.

"It wasn't just over you. I did it for myself, for my peace of mind, because
I feel it's the right thing to do." He said as he hugged me. I felt the
safety I used to feel when we where dating, as if the old Alex was now with
me.

"Alex, you did wrong. I know you love me, but you are the best known homophobe
at school. Don't you realize what you've done? How will the gay people at
school react?! They won't understand just because they've been in your
shoes... They'll be hateful for the fact that you hurt them being gay yourself.
Your straight friends will turn their backs on you and I ... I'll still be
with Dan." I said as his hug loosened and dropped.

"But...but... I showed you how I feel in the best of ways and I've shown you
that I care! Why is it never enough with for you! I'd give my life any day for
you?" He screamed angrily.

"Yes, but what happens when it gets rough? How do I know you will truly save
me instead of yourself and not just that...? I'm with Dan now and I'm happy
at last. I can't just leave that because you came out Alex." I said in a low
voice.

"You will never stop hurting me will you?! Yes, I did you wrong. I saved my
ass and burnt yours, but you're making me pay for it every day of my life.
You're making it hard for me to live. Haven't you've punished me enough?
Please stop Kyle. I can't go on begging for your heart and getting trashed
while you fall in love with someone else." He said with tears slipping out
his eyes.

"I'm sorry Alex. You're right I keep on hurting you, but I can't go back
just because you are yourself again. There is one thing I know Alex and that
is someone else is going to fall in love with you and you with them. They
are going to know you the way I did, know how beautiful you are inside out
... and you're going to be happy and maybe I'll get jealous or pissed, but
I will respect your happiness because it's yours to have." I said as I held
his face in my hands. He kept crying as he nodded slowly.

"But ... I want to be happy with you" He said with a choked voice.

"Maybe in another life we will get our happy ending Alex, but in this one
we will have to find happiness elsewhere" I said as I kissed him, my lips
pressed onto his, the tingle ran up and down my body as his tears slowly
stop.

"Then I hope we are happy in our next life" He said as he held tight.

"We will be, you'll see" I said laughing gently into his neck, he is shorter
than Dan.

"Will you still come to me if you ever need me? I'll always love you." He
said as he kissed my forehead.

"Of course I will. Promise me you'll find someone to make as happy as you
made me." I said as he nodded. We parted our hug as we kissed one last time
and he walked off. He turned around before jumping the fence.

"It feels good you know... Closure" He said as his eyes watering and he walked
off.

I smiled and nodded as I leant against the tree. Closure, I repeated as my
eyes watered. Yeah... closure.

I looked up at the tree, thinking of my past, my promises with Alex, and how
I thought he was my true love, is it going to hurt to see him move on? I
wondered as I heard a noise coming from the bushes, I turned and saw a sweaty,
heavy breathing and pissed looking Dan.

"Where the fuck is he?!" He asked as his chest heaved up and down.

"Alex? He left." I said as he walked to me.

"Did he do anything?!" He asked loudly touching my face gently.

"I kissed him twice." I said as his face dropped.

"Why would you kiss him?!" He said looking down, dejected.

"It was my way of saying goodbye. We had closure at last. I'm all yours." I
said as he relaxed. He smiled at me and gave me the most passionate wet kiss
I've ever had.

"That's to erase his lips off yours" He said as he pressed his hard RIPPED
body against mine, making me moan lightly as his lips kept biting over mine.

"I think the taste is gone" I moaned as he finally stopped his ravenous
kissing. We stood there under our tree, talking and just being together. We
had decided to blow the rest of the school day, but still the odd nagging
feeling in the back of my mind was everything but gone.


{Teddy's POV}

My eyes started to open and I tried to instinctively rub the sleep out of
them. It only made me realize my hands were bound. I shook them and heard
the rattling of chains. I looked around; I was in what would be called a
dungeon. The air was thick and moist and the stone walls had fungus growing
over them.

"C-Calvin!" I screamed as soon as my senses had returned. I tried to stand up,
but my feet where tied as well. I looked around the dark room and made out a
body lying a couple feet away, the darkness made it hard to get a clear
picture. Yeah it was Calvin! I dragged my body across the floor towards him.
I kissed his cheek as tears started to trickle from my eyes.

"T-teddy?" said his tired voice.

"I'm here baby" I said kissing along his cheek. He let a faint smile adorn
his slightly swollen face. He had been hit more than a couple times by Aaron.

"I'm sorry, I didn't save you!" He whispered.

"No, don't say anything. I'm ok. You did more than was necessary." I said
pressing a kiss to his busted lip.

"I love you" He groaned as he sat up.

"I love you too... This is all my fault. I knew it was dangerous getting you
involved with me. I just couldn't stop myself."

"I don't mind. I just want to know what's happening" Calvin said with a
childlike confused look in his eyes; odd really with both of us in this
position.

If you wanna know what happened let me back track to what I assume was
yesterday.

"Aaron?" I whispered softly as Calvin gave me a weird look.

"Who?" Calvin asked confused.

"That guy, at the counter.  That's Aaron! Don't you remember him, he was at
school. Kyle's older brother." I said quietly.

"What? Wasn't he dead?" Calvin said taking a long look at the guy as his eyes
opened wide in recognition.

"I know... Kyle never believed it since no body was ever found." I said,
standing up with questions running through my mind, endlessly. Like, what was
Aaron doing here? How was he alive? What happened 2 years ago? Why hasn't he
contacted Kyle before now?

"Are you going to talk to him?" Calvin wondered as I took a couple steps
towards the counter, as Aaron and Mr. Tan got their drinks. I walked slowly,
searching through Aaron's face to make sure it was him.

"Aaron?" I whispered softly, he turned to look at me, tilted his face slightly
and his eyebrows knitted together making him look confused.

"Do I know you?" He asked. At that moment, Mr. Tan looked towards me; his
face looked shocked and pissed. I saw him move towards his pocket, signature
move of pulling out a weapon. I panicked.

"Get out! He has a gun!" I screamed loudly as Mr. Tan took out a small gun,
people in the cafe screamed as they tried to run towards the safest place
that they could find. The cashier ducked and screamed, as he pressed the
button under the counter.

"You just made this harder on yourself" Mr. Tan said aiming at the cashier,
he shot. The guy's body collapsed onto the floor. I draped a hand over my
mouth as tears ran down my face.

"W-What are you doing?" I asked counsellor as he smiled at me.

"Teddy... Here I was taking my time making Kyle hurt, but you just had to
mess things up didn't you?" He said getting close. He aimed at my head, but
as he was going to reach me, a fist flew to his face and he collapsed
backwards. Calvin stood there, he grabbed my hand and we broke out on a run
and rushed out of the cafe.

"AARON! GET THEM! They killed your parents." Mr. Tan said, which confused me
no end. I didn't have time for questions. I just had to find Kyle. I fished
my phone from my pants and pressed one which dialled Kyle's number. His number
appeared on the screen, but before it rang Aaron caught us. He snapped my
phone out of my hands and pushed it into his pants. Calvin took me and slung
me over his shoulder, yeah, he was faster carrying me like a sack of potatoes.
Aaron was right behind us as Calvin went into the woods at the roadside. He
ran around through the trees and hid behind one. He lowered me down and looked
me in the eye. He kissed me like it was about to be our last time.

"Stay here... I'll distract him, then you run. Ok?" He asked.

"N-n-o I can't leave you alone." I said hugging him to me.

"You'll have to." He said pushing me off. He ran out and a couple moments
later, I heard them fight. I looked over the tree to see Aaron and Calvin
fighting hand to hand. Punches were delivered, Aaron was more evasive, better
trained, but when Calvin landed his punches they were stronger than Aaron's
making him stagger back. The fight was going steady. I gulped. I couldn't
leave Calvin alone. I looked at the ground and saw a big branch, I picked
it up. Sorry Kyle if I have to knock that dude out I will.

"Good night" I heard a voice behind me, Mr. Tan was there holding a cloth,
he pressed it against my nose as I screamed; Calvin looked my way which landed
him a huge kick to the head and fainted. I tried to fight Mr. Tan but my
nostrils were full of what I assumed to be chloroform. I felt my body
lightened as my eyes closed and I fainted.

After that I woke up here really confused as to where I was. After explaining
to Calvin most of my life in the briefest of time, which took about an hour,
he was stunned. He knew about me and Kyle, his brother and what I could only
assume of Mr. Tan.

"S-so you are saying Kyle and you are ... assassins ... Professional ones?"
He asked wide eyed.

"Yes. I know it's too much to take, but you had to know." I said as he nodded,
his hands grabbed mine.

"I still love... It's just a lot to digest. Ok? What do we do, now?" He asked
with a hint of fear in his voice as we looked around our cell. It was really,
really creepy. I looked towards the bars, there was a faint light outside and
I could make out a shadow standing in front of the bars looking at us intently.

"Hey... You" He said pointing at me. I looked up.

"What do you want?" I said with slight attitude.

"Come here" He said a little demandingly. I crawled my way to the front of
the cell, only to be faced with Aaron who slid his hands into the cell
producing a key. Moved his hands to where my feet were chained and unlocked
them. Still tied up I was now able to stand feeling a little more free.

"Thank you... What do you want?" I asked warily, a little shaken by his sudden
act of kindness.

"Take the key, it only frees your feet so don't try your wrists!" He said as
he handed me the key. I grabbed it and walked to Calvin, undid the chains on
his feet and walked back to Aaron.

"Thanks" I said looking at him, there was something fishy going on. Aaron and
I spent so much time together growing up. He was like my older brother, always
looking out for me and everything.

"Your name is Eddy right?" He asked.

"No. Teddy... You're Aaron? DO you not remember me at all?" I asked as he
eyed me up and down.

"No..." He said with his eyes downcast.

"Really? We have met before you know" I said as he studied my face.

"I'm sorry, Master said my memory had been played with" Aaron responded with
a sad tone.

"Why are you being nice to me?" I asked referring to the key which I handed
back.

"Because I have a question" He said.

"Ask away" I answered as he took out my phone from his pocket. My eyes shot
wide open, if he gave it to me, I could send Kyle a signal about my
whereabouts.

"He is Kyle?" He said pointing to the picture in my screensaver. It was me
giving Kyle a piggy back ride. Kyle looked beautiful, as always, smiling. I
looked like I was about to pop a hernia from his weight. I couldn't help but
smile at the memory.

"Yes... Kyle, your brother" I said slowly.

"Is he nice?" He asked tilting his head slightly, looking at me with teary
eyes. My heart strained in my chest due to sadness.

"He is very nice. Don't you remember him?" I asked as he shook his head no.

"Is he happy?" He asked again, with a choked voice, tears streamed down his
cheeks like waterfalls, but he didn't seem to notice.

"Yes, but he misses you...a lot. You're crying" I said as he started to clean
his eyes.

"Sorry ... I almost never cry and I don't know why I'm doing it now." He said
as he looked at the picture. He pressed his finger to Kyle's face.

"He has pretty eyes..." He said mostly to himself "but they look sad... Even
though he's smiling" He said again mostly to himself. Kyle and Aaron both had
the exact same eye colour, product of the experiment done on them. Grey with
green freckles. I looked into his eyes.

"You have the same eyes and they are also sad" I said as he looked at me and
swallowed.

"Do – Do - Do you have more pictures here?" He asked meaning my phone.

"Yes... Do you want to see?" I said studying him; maybe some will trigger his
memory.

"Please" He said placing the phone in front of me. I used my wrapped hands
to try and reach my phone. He saw the inconvenience and undid the shackles,
which dropped to the ground. I grabbed my phone. Oddly enough there was no
service anyway, as if something blocked any type of signal. So the idea of
calling or making my presence known had died. I went through my picture files
and picked one of Kyle when he was younger, about 5. It was a picture of both
him and me...Playing with play dough. He looked at him directly.

"He looks happy" He said smiling. "Truly happy" He said once more as he grazed
the picture with his finger gently.

"He was the happiest kid alive" I said feeling my eyes water in pain for
Aaron. I could hear Calvin sobbing softly in the background.

"Did he love me?" Aaron asked fully crying now like if he was scared.

"Yeah, more than anyone in the world" I said as I cleaned the tears of my
eyes.

"Did, I love him?" He asked looking at me directly to my eyes.

"Just as much, you used to put him first in everything... He followed you
around even when you went out with your friends. You didn't mind, you just
picked him up and took him with you... Your friends loved him too. He was a
very cute kid" I said smiling. He looked at me in the picture.

"You are my brother too?" He asked confused.

"No. Why do you ask?" I said.

"I remember... You were on a bike and I was behind with Kyle." He said looking
at me.

"Yes you taught me how to ride a bike... I fell a lot." I said and he chuckled.

"Was I... good to you too?" He asked. I couldn't help the tears nor did I
want to.

"The best" I said as he smiled.

"Good" He said with a warm smile, he switched the picture, it was one of
Kyle and me. 4 years old and Kyle's mom had me in her arms and Kyle's dad
had Kyle in his. They were basically parents to me through childhood. I slept
at Kyle's more than at my own home and there in the middle of his parents
Aaron was arguing with his dad wanting to hold Kyle. And Kyle had his arms
stretched to Aaron. Aaron looked at it with a surprised look.

"They were my parents, right?" He asked.

"They still are your parents" I said, and he looked at me oddly.

"Aren't they dead?" He asked confused.

"No" I took the phone and flipped to a recent picture it was just Kyle, me
his mom and dad. No Aaron.

"I thought they had been killed?" He said with a furrowed brow.

"By who?" I asked.

"N-nothing, don't worry about it." Aaron said looking at the picture. He
flipped it and it came to one of Dan and Kyle that I'd taken recently. They
were sharing a fry which ended in a kiss. Aaron's face scrunched up.

"Who is he?" He said sounding like a jealous brother which warmed my heart
somewhat.

"He's his boyfriend... Dan, he's a very nice guy."

"Is he nice to Kyle?" He asked as he looked away from the picture looking
upset.

"Yep, he treats him like he is the most important person alive" I said as
he flipped the picture. The next one was one of Kyle alone. He was looking
at the camera and the sunlight hit the back of his head making him look
angelic. He had a very wide smile that made his eyes shine. Aaron pressed
his lips to the picture as tears slid down his eyes.

"You told me he is happy right? D...do you think he still loves me?" He asked
as he held the phone tight.

"He never forgets you. He is always looking at your picture on his phone.
Always kisses it goodnight. He misses you like you have no idea." I said as
he smiled.

"Can you tell him? I want to hug him again. I want to remember again." He
said as he opened the cell door.

"Yes." I said as he opened the door completely, he hugged me tight as he
cried, he let go and cleaned his eyes taking deep breaths.

"Master isn't here right now; he's preparing himself to get Kyle. You have
to warn him. You leave through the door up there and you can find his office
n the third floor. If you can hack into his security you can enter the office.
Maybe you can find some answers there. I'm going to make it seem like a
breakout" He said with a sombre look in his eyes.

"Ok. Thank you Aaron; love, let's go!" I said looking at Calvin who stood up,
he walked to Aaron and hugged him.

"Stay strong" He said as he patted Aaron's back, Calvin's black eyes looked
worst under the light as we rushed upstairs. I opened the door slowly.

"Be careful of the guards. You're on your own. I can't help without being
implicated." Aaron said as I nodded. I looked down the white corridors, hell
the walls and everything was white, with so much light and looked so damn
clean. I rushed into the halls and walked slowly. I looked at the side of one
wall and saw a fire extinguisher. I bust it open with the hammer by the side.
I took it out and walked slowly. I sprayed each security camera as I walked
by.

"INTRUDER ALERT! BREAK OUT! INTRUDER ALERT! BREAK OUT!" A robotic voice
repeated as red lights twinkled in the roof. I kept running with Calvin
behind me. As we ran fast through the halls, a couple of armed guards
appeared in front of us. I fogged them with the extinguisher which had
them coughing and choking. Calvin smacked them down as we kept running.

"We have to get to the third floor" I said as Calvin just nodded, we got to
the elevators and entered one, we pressed for the 3rd floor and it rose. The
signal dinged at the second floor and the elevator shut down.

"Damn, they want us cornered" I said looking at the shut down elevator.

"Well we made it to the second floor why don't we open the door with something"
He said, I took my phone, pressed a button and a knife popped from the top. I
was about to jam the door open when something hit me.

"They stopped us at a door not midway... Shit they are waiting outside" I
said freaking out. I looked up to the panel above. After explaining my plan,
I got on Calvin's shoulders and pushed the panel off. I crawled upwards and
Calvin followed suit. I placed the panel back. We were on top of the elevator
with many metallic structures around, a couple feet above was another door.

"Up there" Calvin said as he started to climb up the metallic structure I
followed with slight difficulty. We got to the door, he took my phone and
jammed the knife between the slit and wiggled it. The door parted open and
we stepped out on the third floor.

"We did it. He said his office and the control room are here." I said as I
walked across the huge hallway. I found the control room. The door was locked.

"We need identification" Calvin said looking down.

"I know, come here" I said sliding into the room across the control room,
thank god it was empty. I opened the door slightly so I could look directly
to the control room. After 10 minutes of patient waiting. A man walked to the
control room and took out his ID card.

I opened the door and slammed him on the head with the fire extinguisher. He
collapsed, I took the ID.

"Wow! Like a movie" Calvin said staring at me. I rolled my eyes.

"I love you, but not now ok." I said as I slid the ID card through the slit.
The panel asked me for a key code. Thank God the passed out guy had it
scribbled at the other side of his ID. I pressed the buttons and then it asked
me for a digital print. Calvin lifted the guy pressing his index finger
against the soft looking led screen. There was a quick scan. The door
unlocked.

"We go in?" Calvin asked a little scared.

"We go in" I said surely as I opened the door. I looked around, 5 people
controlling the building, including security cameras.

"I knocked down the elevator, but there was no one inside." One yelled at
the other.

"Maybe you shut down the wrong elevator!" The man screamed.

"Look the camera's of this floor are frozen" One guy said, I had snapped a
couple cables on the cameras so the image stood still.

"Shit! They got here. We have to lock up." One guy said turning around, I
just smiled.

"To late" I fogged the shit out him and it felt so damn cool. He collapsed
on to the floor. I did the same to the guys around who were unarmed. They
tried to attack me, but they weren't built like Calvin who was taking them
down like nobody's business.

"Done!" Calvin exclaimed as he had tied them up with some spare cables lying
around.

"Thank you" I said smiling and sitting down. I cracked my fingers before I
started typing and undoing algorithms. I kept typing as the numbers appeared
on the screen. I looked up and kept typing a sequence code. I pushed myself
on the chair since it had wheels to the next keyboard. There was a firewall
that didn't let me access the door operating system. But after a couple
minutes I was able to undo it.

"Babe, guards are coming" Said Calvin who had been monitoring the cameras
for me.

"We will have to hurry, jam the door" I said as he nodded and hurried to
the door, he pulled down the extra locks that and bars that the fellow
scientists


"That should keep em for a while" He said walking to the cameras.

"We can't know when they arrive, I snapped the cameras in front of this
room" I said as he walked back to the door.

"I hear footsteps, better hurry" He said as I started to type faster.

"Almost there it asks me for a password to unlock the main office...
Aaron" I tried, and luckily the screen shined. UNLOCKED it read
above us.

"We have to leave for the main office" Calvin reminded me. We had barricaded
the door, and guards where bringing it down with a laser thing. I motioned him
to follow me with a finger, I grabbed another fire extinguisher that was in
the control room, unhooked it and threw the used to Calvin.

"Stand back" I said as we both retracted, the door burst open and at least 20
guards shoved themselves in. I took my phone knife which was way sharp and cut
the top of the extinguisher off. I threw it at them. The white gas exploded all
over making them cough.

"Drop down" Calvin said as he saw a gun being raised, we did so, waiting for
the smoke to fill the guard's lungs. I dug into my phone. I kissed it. "Sorry"
I said taking out the memory card. I pressed a hidden red button and threw it
to the fog.

"Cover your ears!" I screamed to Calvin, he did just as the guards stepped out
of the smoke. I covered my ears as well and the phone exploded. I activated
its self destruct sequence; quite a handy phone really. It threw a sleeping
gas when it exploded. All the guards collapsed. We waited for the smoke to
disperse and with covered mouths and noses we rushed out of the control room.
We ran down the hallway with awesome speed knowing our objective. There at the
end of the hallway, the huge double metal door stood completely open.

"It worked! You opened it" Calvin said as we entered, I closed the door
checking first if it could be only opened from the inside, which it could.

"No one can enter here without knowing the controls and password so as long
as Mr. Tane isn't back we're safe" I said as I walked into the most beautiful
office, but it wasn't the time to admire. I went to the cool metal desk and
opened the drawers. In one, there was Calvin's phone. They raided us before
shoving us in jail so he must have taken Calvin's phone. I grabbed it.

I checked his computer and took my phone's memory card which was made by me
with 100 G space capacity. I slid into a slit of the pc, and started loading
all the computer files onto the card.

"Babe look around for papers, blue prints or files about people please. If you
find a laptop grab it!" I said as he nodded, he searched around frantically
and collected a pile of papers. He then found a macbook and placed it on the
desk. I waited for the files to load into the memory card completely.

"Babe, how are we going to leave? It's full of guards out there" He said
looking at the camera from outside this room.

"Well... Mr. Tane is smart. All this information gathering and the firewall
that secured his data, he has to be an awesome tech and someone smart has to
have an escape exit for extreme cases. Look for a secret path or something
babe, the data is almost completely loaded" I said as the information loaded.
I looked around and found a backpack; I shoved all the files we had into it
along with the laptop. His desktop was still loading his info to my memory
card. Calvin was looking around like crazy, throwing books of the bookshelf
and pushing against walls. He seemed tired and beat as the computer dinged.
The loading was complete; I took out the memory and shoved it into the bag.

"No luck." Calvin said upset as he rested his back against a wall tiredly.

"There has to be a way out of here babe... There has to be a way." I said
looking around the huge room.

"If not we are trapped here and its matter of time before that teacher gets
back." Calvin said worriedly.

"Come on... Where could it be" I said looking around the furnished room, it
was all sleek metallic colored, metal desk a metal bookshelf with books all
over the ground. It had a little living room and a little kitchen area with
a huge fridge and smaller sized fridge by its side.

"I know!" Calvin said as he walked to the kitchen. "Nobody needs 2 fridges"
He said opening the huge fridge filled with many stuff, he closed it and
opened the normal sized one. There were only red bulls there. He tried to
move the fridge but it was stuck to the wall he grinned and slid took off
all the trays in the fridge the red bulls fell down into the floor. I walked
to the fridge; it was empty, completely empty. Calvin then kicked the back of
the fridge and it collapsed showing a path. I walked into the fridge it was
slightly cold, but as soon as I got into the hall behind it I felt warm, and
an odd salty smell.

"Good thinking love" I said as Calvin smiled. We rushed down the narrow passage
way. It was very humid and looked like old stone walls as I walked carefully,
there was weed growing along the wall. The passage became smaller and we
hunched ourselves to keep walking through. After more walking along the weird
passageway we came to a very large area that had a huge pool and a boat on it.
There was also a gate in front of the pool. The salty smell invaded my nostrils.

"Shit, we are in an island ... The boat, the water ... This isn't a pool it's
a hidden port." I said running down to the boats. There was a huge one and
then a few smaller ones that could fit only 2 or 3 people at a time. I threw
the bag in a small one. Calvin jumped to it to.

"The gate" Calvin said looking to the way out.

"Let me see" I said walking to the little cabin on the room. I entered, and
there was a lever tagged with GATE CONTROL on top. I pushed it down and the
gate made a loud cracking noise as it slid open. I ran back down to lower
area where the water was and jumped on top the boat.

"We have to hurry" Calvin said as the gate seemed to be closing again, he
started the engine. The boat roared to life as it started to make its way
across the water. We made it through the gate and we were now into open sea.
It was bright outside, around lunchtime I guess. I looked back as the gate
closed. The gate was disguised as huge stone. Yeah we were on an island,
but what we didn't know that the sole construction on top of that island
was a huge antique looking castle. My mouth hung open wondering just how
far we were from shore or any sort of civilization.

"Seems it's far from home" I said to Calvin who kept on sailing.

"Seems like it" Calvin answered, after some distance. I couldn't see the
castle anymore. Then something rung in my pocket, I fished out Calvin's
phone that I had recovered from the office, as I assumed, the castle had
something that neutralized phone connections and more, but as soon as we
were away it was usable. I used the GPS app to locate myself, only to
find out that we were closer to home than expected. I typed Kyle's number
on the phone. It rung once before it was answered.

"CALVIN! WHERE THE FUCK IS TEDDY!" He screamed into my ear.

"It's me calm down" I said softly.

"I WON'T CALM THE FUCK DOWN, YOU DISSAPEARED!" He screamed obviously
pissed beyond repair.

"I found Aaron" I said and his screaming stopped suddenly. "And you won't
guess all I've been through" I said as the line remained silent.
