Tenth Anniversary
Decisions

Our breathing was getting heavy, our mouths never separating.  The sounds of moaning filled the room, both of our bodies grinding into one another.  Joey slipped his hands underneath my shirt and pulled it up over my head, breaking our frantic kissing momentarily.  His fingertips danced around my back, tracing a pattern up to my shoulders.  I pulled away from his tender lips and removed his shirt.  My hands ran up and down his smooth, toned torso, rubbing their way over his pecs.  As I sat up a little and straddled his waist, he got his chance to feel the rest of my upper body.  His hands roamed around, tracing my abs, then went to my chest, swirling his fingers over my nipples.  I moaned, and leaned back down on top of him.  I started kissing his shoulder, and he did the same to mine.  We slowly traced our mouths across each others upper body, lingering a bit to suckle on our necks.  Eventually, our mouths came back and met each other once again. Our tongues fought for position in our mouths, neither of us seeming to get enough.

After a few minutes of making out, things were definitely heating up.  Joey was gently thrusting his hips up, pushing his crotch into mine, which in turn made me involuntarily thrust back into him.  As the pace quickened, I could feel Joey reach for my pants. His hands fumbled with my belt buckle, but not for long.  He undid the button, unzipped the zipper, and pushed them down as far as he could.  He started to push my boxers down, but I stopped him half way.  I looked into his eyes, which pleaded with me to continue. I hooked my fingers into the top of his bermudas, and pulled them down.  He was now completely naked from head to toe.

I looked down at his cock, contemplating my next move.  He was at full mast, and man, what a sight it was.  Joey's not very long in that department, but he is very thick.  I gently bypassed his member and kneaded his balls.  He moaned and thrust up in response.  I watched as his cock twitched at my touch.  I wrapped my hand around it, barely getting it all the way around, and started to jerk him off slowly.  My fingers paused at the head and played with his slit, which not only elicited more quiet moaning, but a healthy spurt of pre cum.  His entire lower body was coming up off the floor as he tried to hump my hand.  Joey sat up and pushed me off momentarily.  He pulled my face up to meet his and we kissed again.  I smiled at him, then started to make my way back down, when he stopped me and turned me around, so my lower body was facing his upper.  My boxers slid down to my ankles, as he anxiously revealed my package.  My hand was back to jacking him, this time at a faster pace.  I felt him tentatively feeling around.  He played with my balls, and ran his hands over my ass.  I almost froze when his hand ran down the length of my crack, just grazing my most private spot.  I shuddered as he did that, but he never missed a beat.

His hand wrapped around my cock, jerking it in a slow, teasing manner.  We continued to pleasure each other with our hands for at least 10 minutes, stopping whenever we felt the other was going to cum.  By this time, both of us were ready to burst at any moment.  The pace had slowed down to a crawl, both of us trying to make it last as long as possible.  His cock pulsated in my hand, begging me for relief, and I was about to finish him off when he stopped doing me completely.  I kept my hand around  'little Joey', wondering what was going on, when all of a sudden I felt something wet touch the tip of my cock, followed not a second later by the warmth of what I now knew was Joey's mouth, enveloping the rest of it.  The pure shock of it, combined with the unbearable pleasure, caused that familiar stirring in my groin.

"Uhh.. I'm going to shoot, pull off, Joey."  He headed my warning, and let the head slip from his mouth.  His hand kept my cock aimed at his mouth though, much to my surprise.  Spurt after spurt shot out of me, as I violently thrusted into his hand, until I was completely milked of my seed.  It went soft, then Joey engulfed me again, sucking it dry.  I could feel the cum in his mouth, as he gave it one last suck.  My jerking of him had just about stopped and he put his hands around my waist, then pulled at me, causing me to turn around.  I did as he wanted, and laid on top him, face to face.  He had cum dribbling from his lips, which I quickly licked up.  He smiled at me, and I smiled at him, realizing he had taken my entire load.  His eyes met mine, and a silent request was made from him to me.  I nodded and made my way back down to his cock, getting eye level with it.  Second thoughts started to flood my mind, remembering that doing this would mean that I would no longer be virginal to giving oral.  I glanced at him, and the look on his face pushed those thoughts away.  The caring and longing look in his eyes was enough to make me realize I owed this to Joey.  I bent my head down and stuck my tongue out, licking his balls, up to the bottom of his shaft.  My tongue made it's way along the thick shaft, and swirled around the head.  As soon as my tongue poked at his piss slit, lapping up any pre cum, he started to shake.

"Oh god...yeah...I'm going to cum, babe."  His cock started to pulsate, I could feel the cum rising up in it.  I was about to engulf him, when I was startled.

"OH MY GOD!"  I froze, Joey's cock began shooting streams of cum all over my face, with a healthy amount landing on my lips.  I turned my head, to see Eric and Matt standing in the doorway.  I didn't know what to say or do.  I just stared at them, Joey's cock deflating just inches from my face.  Joey, didn't seem to be that startled about the whole thing, just kind of laid there, still savoring his relief.  Eric suddenly burst out laughing, shortly followed by Matt.

I rose to my feet, not even caring that I was naked, and just looked at them, not knowing what to say.  I involuntarily licked my lips, forgetting that I had Joey's cum all over my mouth.  This caused Eric and Matt to laugh even harder.  It was a different taste, definitely not bad.  I lapped up as much as I could, not even paying attention to the two goof balls.  It was a part of Joey, and now it was a part of me.  Joey, finally snapping out of whatever daze he was in, hopped up immediately.

"Uh..."  Joey started to say to Eric and Matt.

"Hahahahaha... wow... hahaha.  You guys should see the looks on your faces.  Especially you, Blade.  Hehe, you have a nice, creamy complexion today, you know that?"  He practically fell onto the floor laughing at his joke.  I couldn't help, but snicker myself, as I could see Joey was fighting back his laughter as well.  I walked into the bathroom and grabbed a towel, to wipe up whatever remained on my face.  I returned to the bedroom and threw the towel to Joey, even though, I'm pretty sure he took care of whatever I had gave to him.

"Okay... do I have to put a lock on my door now?  You know you're supposed to knock, Eric."

"I did!  Three times!!  Just ask Matt."  He giggled away.  I looked at Matt, who was no longer laughing, but seemed to be taking in the sights, so to speak.  His eyes darted from me to Joey, and back again, hovering over a couple certain body parts.  I slowly walked over to him and got really close, maybe an inch away from him.  Eric just looked at me, with a look I couldn't quite read.

"Is that right, Matt?  Did you guys knock?" I whispered seductively into his ear.  He blushed furiously, and just barely answered me.

"Uh...knock...yeah...knocked...right."  I backed away from him, laughing.  I could hear Joey snickering as he plopped down on the bed.

"Well, I guess I didn't hear it then, but you should still wait for me to answer the door."  I can't believe I didn't hear them knock, I'll never live this down.

"Hehe, so, how was it?"  Eric teased.

I looked at Joey and blushed sheepishly.  "None of your business."

"Awww, come on.  Details!  I'm a curious boy you know!"

"No."

"Please!!  At least tell me if his spunk was any good."  He gave me a shit eating grin, and I started toward him, when a pillow came sailing across the room, hitting Eric right square in the face.  The surprised look on his face didn't last long, as he made a beeline straight for Joey.  I cut him off and put him in a bear hug.

"Now, Eric.  This will not be made public knowledge, got it?  You keep your mouth closed."

He struggled with me, but it was no use.  "Fine...you're no fun.  Now let go of me, your dick is rubbing against me, ewww, hehehe."  I threw him onto the bed, when Joey pounced on him.  He held him down and grabbed the top of Eric's boxers, yanking them up, giving him a very uncomfortable looking atomic wedgy.

"Ow!!!"  Eric hopped around the room, trying to fix his boxers.  "You asshole!  How far up did you pull these damn things?!?!"  I rolled around on the bed laughing at him, as he could not for anything, get his boxers back down.  He stopped struggling and glanced at Matt.  Matt gave him a weary look then walked over to him.  I watched intently as Matt went behind Eric and tugged at his pants, trying to get the boxers to ride back down.  It didn't work very well, and Eric got more frustrated.  "Dude, just reach in and fix it, please.  Matt got red in the face, and looked over at me.  I didn't say a word, just watched to see what he was going to do.

He pulled the back of Eric's pants out, just enough so he could get his hand in there, and reached in.  He was obviously tugging on the boxers, but with the amount of room in those pants, he was also getting a long feel of my brother's ass.  After a minute or so, Matt succeeded, and my brother could walk normally again.  He flipped Joey and I off, then walked out of the room grumbling to himself.  Matt, just stared at the floor and followed him out.

I turned to face Joey, who had an amused look on his face, but was also staring at me seriously.  He patted the bed beside him, and I moved up and laid next to him.  He put his arm around me and we laid there.

"What did you make of that?"  I asked.

"Hmmm... I'm not quite sure.  They're awful friendly with each other."

"Yeah.  I can't tell if that's all it is, just them being friendly, or if there's more to it."

"They would look cute together.  Your mom is gonna be severely disappointed if both of her sons turn out to be gay."  I gave him a hurt look.  "Wait, let me explain.  You know your mom wants grandchildren, and without you two to make them for her, what is she going to do?"

"Just because I don't want to be with girls, doesn't mean I don't want kids.  There's always adoption, or having someone carry one."

"Oh, yeah, that's right.  That's a tough and expensive process though."  I sat there mulling over what he was saying.  Sure, it would be tough, but who doesn't eventually want to have a child of their own?  I love kids and I would love to have a son or two someday.

"I guess your mother doesn't have to worry about that.  I mean, your brother has already given her a grandchild.  She won't be too disappointed when she finds out about you."  There was a long silence after that.  Joey tensed up after I said it.

"Uh, right.  I couldn't care less what that bitch thinks and..."  He just trailed off.  Suddenly, it hit me.

"You- you're having second thoughts about what just happened."  I stated, the disappointment evident in my voice.

"No, not at all.  What happened between us, it was great.  I really like you, Blade...a lot...I'm just confused to what I want right now, and I feel guilty, well because you're vulnerable right now.  I shouldn't have taken things as far as I did."

I turned towards him, "Joey, if I didn't want to do anything with you, then I wouldn't have.  Maybe I am vulnerable right now, but you make me feel good."  I paused, "You have been the only thing holding me together this week."

"You know I would do anything for you."

"I know, and I love you for that.  I would do anything for you as well.  I guess, deep down, I wanted to be with you.  They say your first love never goes away, they always live in your heart."

"Are you saying you want to be with me?"  He asked.

"You are an unbelievable guy, Joey..."

"But?"

"But, I think it's too soon to make a commitment.  What we did-- well, I've never just done stuff like that, without being in a relationship.  I mean.. I'm confused right now."

"I understand.  Umm, this may be the wrong time to ask this now, but you're clean right?"

"Clean? OH... yeah, I'm clean.  No diseases or anything here.  I've only done stuff with Tyler, and I didn't even do anything to him, he uh, gave me a blow job once."  Tyler... this was the first time he crossed my mind since I've gotten home.  Joey must've seen the troubled look spread across my face, as he squeezed his arms tightly around me.

"Well, I'm clean.  I mean, Nikki and I were active, but we were both virgins, so you don't have to worry."

"Ewww...hetero, hehe."  That earned me a playful smack to to my head.  Things got quiet again, I guess both of us were just deep in thought.

I'm torn about my feelings for Joey.  He's just so great, and I'm sure he would be a great boyfriend.  On the other hand, he is my best friend, and if things were to go bad in a relationship, then it could damage our friendship status.  I know he likes me, but maybe he's just curious, like I originally thought.  A feeling of guilt started to sweep over me, as Tyler crept into my mind.  We broke up, so it's not like I cheated on him...but this shouldn't have happened.  It's way too soon.  God, why is everything so messed up?

"Blade!"  I was startled out of my thoughts by Joey's yelling.

"What?"

"You spaced out.  Something you want to talk about?"  He asked sweetly.  He stroked my hair and waited for my answer.

"No, I'm okay.  I just have to sort some things out."  I paused, "Joey, are you gay?"

He just gave me a indifferent look, "I don't know.  I mean, I think I'm bi if anything.  I still like girls, and I am attracted to some guys, but not like I'm attracted to you."

"So, where do we go from here?"

"I don't know.  I liked what we did, but I know we shouldn't have rushed like that, but damn, was it good! Hehe."

"Haha, be serious for a minute will you?"

"I need to think it out.  I've never even considered a gay relationship up until this point.  I liked what we did, I mean it obviously appealed to me..,I did blow you, ya know."

"Haha.  Well, let's just take things slow and see what happens.  Deal?"

"Deal."  I smiled up at him and he leaned down and kissed me tenderly on the lips.

"I really enjoy that."  A warm fuzzy feeling ran through me.

"Me too."  We both laid there, just enjoying each other's company for awhile.  That didn't last though, as Eric came walking into the room with the phone in his hand.

"Here."  He said as he handed me the phone.

"Who is it?"

"I don't know.  All of your friends sound the same on the phone.  Oh, and will you two put some clothes on?  Geez!  It's not a nude beach here!"  I swatted at him, but he ducked out of the way and scurried out of the room.  I got up off the bed, phone in hand.  I have a tendency to pace while I'm on the phone.

"Hello?"  There was no answer, "Hello?!?"

"Don't hang up."  It was barely audible, but I knew it was Tyler right away.

"I don't have anything to say to you."  I was about to hang up, but he wasn't going to give up.

"Please, I need to talk to you."

"You have two minutes."

"Thank you.  I'm not going to spend the entire time telling you how sorry I am, I'll just say it once.  I am so sorry for hurting you, I didn't mean to."

I snorted into the phone, "We've been over this.  If you didn't mean to, then it wouldn't have happened."

He sighed, "Blade, I fucked up.  I would give anything to go back and change that weekend.  You have to believe me.  You mean everything to me."  I could hear the quiver in his voice as he spoke.  I could feel tears threatening to appear in my eyes, but I shook them off.

"If I meant everything to you, then we would be together right now.  We would've met after school and talked out our problem.  I was going to forgive you Tyler, even though you slept with Kai."  I paused, "When I saw you two kissing this afternoon, it broke my heart all over again."

"Baby, you have to believe me, it wasn't ---" I cut him off.

"Save it.  I can't listen to these excuses anymore.  It's ove--"

"Don't say it...p-please.  I'll do anything, please...I need you."  He was definitely crying, but as much as it hurt me to hear him in pain, I couldn't feel sorry for him.

"Go about your life.  You want Kai, then you got him.  You've made your choice.  Goodbye."  Tyler started sobbing after I said that, and there was one faint whisper I could make out before I hung up.

"I love you."  I put the phone down, then went and sat on the bed.  Joey had gotten dressed while I was on the phone, but was now sitting back on the bed looking at me.

"You okay?"

"Yeah.  If he's the one that did everything, then why do I feel like the asshole?"

"You're just angry with him.  It'll blow over.  Maybe you just need to take your mind off things."  I glanced at him, as he raised his eyebrows suggestively.  I laughed and swatted him with a pillow.

"Horn dog."

"Hey!  I wasn't talking about that!"  He put on his best innocent face, but couldn't keep himself from grinning like a Cheshire cat.

"Yeah, right."

"Hehe, I'm just joking.  So, it's Friday night, what do you want to do?"

"Sleep, hehe."

"Awww, that's no fun.  Isn't there somewhere we can go, maybe dance a little?"

"Dude, don't you ever get tired?"

"Nope, I've got stamina."

"Only in some things."  The shocked look on his face was priceless.

"I lasted longer than you did!"

"Haha, that was only because you took me by surprise.  I didn't expect anything more than a handjob, so when you went further, it sent me over the edge."

"I still lasted longer, punk.  So, you're not up to do anything tonight?"

"Not really.  You can borrow the car if you really want to go do something."

"Nah, I want to do something with you.  If you just want to relax, then we'll hang here.  I have to call Jordan quick though, about the math homework."

"Go ahead.  Do you have his number?"

"Yep.  I'll come back up when I'm done."  He came over, gave me a quick kiss, then headed downstairs to his room.  I smiled to myself.

I grabbed a pair of boxers from my dresser and threw them on.  I don't want anyone else coming in here and catching me naked.  I turned the stereo on and set the CD player on random.  Soon, music filled the room, and I was off to dream land.  I was awakened a few hours later, by someone laying on the bed.  My eyes flickered open and tried to adjust to the dark.  When they did, they focused in on Joey's beautiful eyes.  He was laying facing me, his eyes staring into mine.  The sounds of Creed started through the room and it couldn't have been a more appropriate song.

Oh, I didn't mean to yell
But sometimes I get beside myself
And oh, I didn't mean to rush you
But time keeps pushing so much
Oh, time keeps pushing so much

Your eyes stare at me in the dark
And I hope those eyes
Don't steal my freedom
My freedom

We just kept staring into each other's eyes.  I could see that he cared about me very much, but there was a glint of uncertainty and fear in them as well.

Oh, If I didn't give it all
When I stood you made me crawl
And oh, if you never heard the song
Then I could still hide down behind the wall
Then I could still hide down behind the wall

Your eyes stare at me in the dark
And I hope those eyes
Don't steal my freedom
My freedom
And I hope those eyes
Don't steal my freedom
My freedom

Joey moved closer to me, his face just inches from mine.  He tentaviley leaned forward, brushing his lips against mine.  He pulled away to guage any reaction from me, then moved forward and started kissing me again.

Said eyes, those eyes
I said don't steal my freedom

Your eyes stare at me in the dark
And I hope those eyes
Don't steal my freedom
My freedom
Oh, my freedom

Your eyes stare at me in the dark
And I hope those eyes
Don't steal my freedom
My freedom
Oh, my freedom

Said eyes, those eyes
Said eyes, those eyes
I said don't steal my freedom

We broke apart from each other, and he turned to face the opposite direction.  His body moved towards me, allowing me to spoon him from behind.  I kissed the top of his head, and then closed my eyes, hoping to sleep peacefully for the night.

I awoke the next day to find myself alone in bed.  Joey was nowhere in sight.  He must be in his room.  I got up and grabbed some clothes so I could take a shower.  I noticed it was 11 AM already.  I took a long, refreshing shower, washing away the dirty feeling from the night before.  My mind drifted, thinking about Tyler, Joey, even Kai.  Everything is a mess again.

My feelings are so clouded.  On one hand, there's Joey.  The line between friend and lover has been completely blurred.  I know a part of me loves him, but the more rational part of me, says I'm on the rebound and Joey is the logical savior to me.  As much as I try, I can't push Tyler out of my heart.  It's just not possible.  The love I have or had for him, is not something that comes along everyday.  Whatever happens, I will not hurt Joey.  He deserves the best and I'll do my best to make sure he gets it.

I was all dressed and just about finished with my hair, when I noticed the gel was out.  Maybe Joey is already up and about.  I walked downstairs to find my mother, cleaning as usual.

"Good morning, Blade."

"Mornin'.  Have you seen Joey?"

"Yes, he went out with Jordan an hour or so ago.  Something about math homework."

"Oh, ok."  I looked out the window and saw that my car was there.  Jordan must've picked Joey up.  "I'm heading to work for a few hours."

"Okay, hun.  Have a good day."  I said goodbye and headed out.

Work was, well, work.  Michelle practically tackled me when I came in, since this is the first time I've seen her since the night of the fight.  Hehe, she just had to go on and on about some guy she met.  Tall, dark and handsome is how she described him.  Other than that it was a very slow Saturday.  A few people wandered into the store and browsed, most of them not wanting any help.  Near the end of my shift, a familiar face walked in, Ben from the hockey team.

"Hey, Blade!"

I smiled at him, "Hey, Ben.  Need help finding anything?"

"Nope, just gonna take a look around.  I'm on my break, so I don't have long."

"You work at the mall?"

"Yeah, at Best Buy.  You should stop by sometime."

"I'll be sure to do that."

"Cool.  Hey, did you hear about the big party next weekend?"

"No, I haven't really been that sociable lately."

"Oh, well it's gonna be at the beach next Saturday.  It's gonna be wild!"

"Hehe, who's throwing it?"

"I guess it's a bunch of people from our school and Bellflower."  I wasn't in a hurry to hear that name anytime soon.  "You're going to be there, right?  I mean, you have to go, think of all the girls hearts that you'll break if you don't show."

If only he knew that it wasn't the girls that mattered, "Well, I guess it could be fun.  It's right on the beach?"

"Yeah, I guess they rented it out for the night and Club Chaos.  Hehe, so, there'll be plenty of drunk fools to watch there too!"  I had to admire his enthusiasm.

"Okay, I'll be there.  I'll see if Joey wants to go."

"Great!  I better look around really quick or else I'll be late getting back from my break.  See you at school."  I gave him daps and said goodbye to him.  Hehe, he's a spunky little guy.   I went to the back and punched out, then went on my way.

I decided to walk through the mall quickly, see if there's anything I need to pick up.  I went to the basic clothing and electronic stores with no luck.  I stopped at a Cellular One stand and checked out the cell phones.  One of the sales reps started telling me about all of their special deals and showed me the best phone to get for the price.  I decided to get one, this way it won't be such a pain in the ass keeping track of me and for emergencies.  I got the basic plan, with no extra charge for long distance calls.  After I signed all of the forms and read over the contracts I made my way over to a jewelry store.  There wasn't much that appealed to me except for one ring that caught my mind.  It was a diamond cut, silver band, with a light blue stone in it.  It was gorgeous.  I asked to see it and the clerk took it out of the case.  I checked it over and was told it was a hundred dollars.  That's pretty expensive for silver.

"Do you think it will sell fast?"

"It may.  We can special order another one if you like.  Just let whoever's here know when you want to buy it, that there was a specific ring you were looking at.  Here, I'll write the information down."  She did and then gave it to me.

"Thanks, and I'll make sure to let them know that you had a part in the sale."  She smiled and then I went on my way out of the mall.  I called home on my new cell to see if Joey had come back.

"Hello?"  Eric answered.

"Hey, bro.  Is Joey in?"

"Hehe, in where?"

"Get your mind out of the gutter, you perv.  Is he there?"

"Nope.  He called from Jordan's and said that Jordan wanted you to call him.  Where are you anyway?"

"I'm about to leave the mall."

"Uh, riiiggghhhttt, and you're talking through your futuristic windshield wiper phone."

I snickered, "Nah, I bought a cell today."

"Really?  Sweet!!  I get to borrow it sometimes, right?"

"Haha, you wish.  My bill will be outrageous if you take it."

"Will not!  Well, at least give me the number."  I waited for him to get a pen and paper, then gave him my number.
"Cool, now I'll be able to call you from my room, so you and boytoy will have time to remove your mouths from...."

"Shut up.  You are such a punk.  I mean, I don't just barge into your room do I?  Come to think of it, I should've just walked right in the other night, when you were watching porno."

"What?!?!?  Hey! I wasn't watching porno!"

"Then what were you doing?  The moaning was a bit loud."  I could almost hear him blush over the phone.

"Well, maybe I did have a movie on.  That's confidential though, if you say anything I'll have to eliminate you."

"Haha, yeah right."

"Grrrrrr.  Hey, are you going to the big party next weekend?"

"I'm planning on it.  How did you know about it?"

"Oh, Matt is one of the guys throwing it!  Hehe, isn't that cool?"

"Wow, Matt huh?  Who would of thought?  He must have some major income then."

"Yeah, he's well off.  His mom is a lawyer at some big firm.  Plus the fact that Matt's dad left him everything he owned, pretty much has set him up for life."

"Oh, I didn't know Matt's father died."

"Yeah, a couple years ago.  That's one reason why I love hanging out with him.  He can relate to me so much."

"That's great, bro.  Say, do you want to go to the beach?"

"Sure!"

"Cool.  I'm almost home now, then I just have to grab some swimming trunks.  Do you want Matt to come?"

"Um, well, if it's no trouble."

"Nah, it's cool.  Well, I'm turning on to our street now.  I'll talk to you in a few.  Bye."

"Bye."

I pulled into the driveway, then grabbed my phone and headed to the door.  As soon as I pulled the door open, Eric came flying out and tackled me to the ground.  We tusseled around in the grass for a minute, with him laughing his ass off.  I eventually just took control and pinned him down.

"You little shit.  Where are you gonna go now?"

"Hahaha, I'll escape!  You can not contain the almighty and powerful Eric!"

"Watch me."  With that, I started a vicious tickle torture!

"Haha.. stop.. haha.. can't.. haha.. breathe.."  Eric pleaded.

"Fine.  Maybe you've learned your lesson now."  I got up off of him and started brushing off my clothes.  Then, out of nowhere, that sneaky little bastard came up behind me and pulled my pants down!  "You're dead!"  He flew into the house, while I tried my best to get my pants back up and go after him.  By the time I caught up with him, he had barricaded himself in his room.  "You have to come out sometime!  Maybe I'll just take Matt to the beach and leave you here."  I could hear him grumble something from behind the door, when the phone rang in my room.  I walked in and picked it up.  "Hello?"

"Blade?  It's Jordan."

"Oh, hey bro, what's up?"

"Not much.  I was just wondering if you were still okay with doing the music project as a group."

"Um, we don't really have another option do we?"

"Well, you don't have to do it if you don't want to.  You could just sing by yourself if you want.  I talked to Mr. Trollis and told him that you were going through some rough times, and that maybe it would be easier on you if you had the choice of doing something seperate from our group."

"Awww, that was sweet of you.  Well, I think I should probably do something on my own.  After all, you guys have been doing all the work.  It wouldn't be fair."

"Okay, but if you need help with anything, just ask me, I'll be happy to help."  He paused slightly and then lowered his voice, "So, uh, are you and Joey together now?"

I was at a loss for words as to how to answer that.  "How...what, uhhh..."

"Hehe, I'll take that as a yes."

"Wait, we're not officially together.  We're both sorting out our feelings.  Did he say something to you?"

"I'm not supposed to say anything.  He's in the other room anyway, so he'd hear me if I told you."

"Oh.  Well, Eric, Matt and I are going to hit the beach.  Do you and Joey want to come with us?"

"Let me ask him."  I heard him put the receiver down, then there was silence for a few moments, "Yeah, we'll go.  Do you want us to meet you there?"  Jordan asked.

"Well, I'll meet you at your place and we'll decide from there, okay?"

"Sure.  So, see you in 20 or so?"

"Yup, lata bro."

I hung up, then went along and collected Eric.  Of course I had to promise I wasn't going to tickle him to death, before he unbarricaded his room.  He walked out tentatively, decked out in a pair of yellow board shorts, with white hawaiian flowers on them, and a shell choker.  I never really noticed before, but my little brother is quite the looker.  He gave me a funny look, trying to read what I was thinking.

"What?"  Eric asked.

"Nothing, just wondering when you went from an awkward little kid, to a good looking teenager."  He gave me a shy smile, with a matching blush.

"Shut up, hehe.  Don't get all gay on me now."  He laughed at his own, in his mind, witty comment.  I just raised my eyebrows at him.

"Or maybe I was just wondering what Matt sees in you."  His jaw dropped open in shock.

"I-I don't have any idea what you're talking about."

I gave him a knowing smile, "I'm sure.  Maybe I should have him shove his hand down my pants next time someone gives me an atomic wedgy."  For once in his life, my brother was completely speechless.  His mouth was moving, but no words were coming out.  I snickered at him, then ran up to my room to change into some beach wear.  After stripping down, I picked out a pair of baby blue board shorts, with a hawaiian design on them, and threw them on.  I threw a tank top, tanning lotion, a choker, a pair of extra trunks for Joey, and some towels into a bag, then headed back downstairs.

Eric was sitting on the couch waiting for me, with a cooler beside him.  He looked up at me with a weary look on his face.  I just motioned for him to follow me out to the car, and he followed.  We threw our things in the trunk, then hopped in the car, so we could go pick up Matt.  On the way there, Eric was unusually quiet.  As I pulled up to Matt's house, Eric put his hand on my arm, stopping me from hitting the horn.

"Blade, about what you said earlier..."

"Eric, I'm not going to say anything to him.  I was just playin' with ya.  Chill out."  He smiled at me, then released my arm, and I beeped the horn.  Moments later, Matt came barging out of his house.  I must say, he's a really cute guy.  He had on a pair of white shorts and a cutoff shirt, showing off his nice tan.  With his blonde hair and shades, I'd have to say he'd be quite a catch.  If Eric really is diggin' him, then he could do much worse.  Eric hopped out of the car and followed Matt into the backseat.  I said hello to Matt, then drove off to Jordan's place.

When we arrived, Eric and Matt audibly gasped at the sheer size of Jordan's house.  I mean Matt's house was gigantic, but Jordan's was just unbelievable.  I parked in front of the steps, then got out to go let them know we were there.  Eric and Matt got out as well, but just stood by the car, taking in the sight of the place.  I rang the doorbell and waited for someone to answer.  I've never actually been inside Jordan's house, he still owes me that grand tour.  After a couple of minutes, the door finally buzzed, then Jordan's voice came over the intercom.

"Come on in, Blade.  We're just about ready, I'm just trying to find Joey a pair of swimming trunks, then I have to change quick.  Just come straight up the stairs, then veer to the right.  It's the third door on the left side of the hall."

"Okay, but shouldn't you hand out maps ahead of time for this place?  I'll be right there."  He laughed, then I opened the door and went inside.  The only thing that came to mind was WOW.  There was one huge main room, almost like a lobby of sorts, all done in marble.  I saw the spiral staircase and started to make my way up them.  Jordan is so giving me a tour of this place very soon.  I followed Jordan's 'directions', and went down the hall to the right.  There was some music playing loudly, so I knew I had the right place.  I knocked on the open door to let them know I was there, then walked in.  Joey was rummaging through Jordan's clothes, while Jordan seemed to be struggling with his swim wear.  It was a sight to see.  I was about to say something, when he finally loosened up the tie on the shorts enough, to slip on.  He dropped his boxers right there and I was greeted with a very nice view.  I tried not to stare, but damn, that boy has one of the most perfect asses I've ever seen.  I cleared my throat, causing Jordan to try to whip around quickly, which in turn made him trip over the shorts that he was trying to pull up, giving me a nice look at Jordan's equipment.  Joey just looked up at me and smiled.  Jordan blushed furiously, and finally got his shorts up all the way.

"I didn't even hear you come in."  Jordan forced out.  He was blushing so hard, he looked like he might explode.

"I knocked.  Chill out bud, we've got the same parts you know, it's nothing to be embarassed about.  Besides, you look great with no clothes on!"  I giggled out.  He blushed a bit more, but then loosened up a bit.

"Thanks.  I'd imagine you do as well."  I smiled at him, surprised at his sudden shot of courage.  I looked over at Joey, who was now bare assed as well, trying to fit into a pair of Jordan's shorts unsuccessfully, I might add.  He started to fall backwards, but I hurried over and caught his fall.  I made sure he was balanced, then held him steady as he pulled the shorts back off.

"Well Jordan, I don't think I'm gonna fit into your clothes.  Maybe I should just go like this?"  He questioned jokingly.  Jordan and I both snickered at him.

"I've got a pair of shorts in the car that you can wear."  I told him.  He smiled, then suprising me, leaned forward and kissed me, right there in front of Jordan.  Once his lips met mine I melted.  I wanted to pull away, well, just because we were doing this in front of Jordan, but I couldn't force myself to.  Joey eventually pulled away, and me in my dazed state, looked over at Jordan, who had a look of shock, and a little grin on his face.  I followed his gaze and saw what he was grinning at.  Joey had gotten a little excited during our kiss.  I looked at Jordan, then Joey, then took my finger and flicked Joey's cock, emitting a fit of laughter from Jordan.  Joey just took it in stride, smiling at his amusement.  Joey turned around and put Jordan's shorts away, as I turned to Jordan.

"Are you just about ready to go then?"  Joey came up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waste, and laying his head on my shoulder.

"Yep.  As soon as naked boy covers himself up and K..."  He was cut off by his bathroom door swinging open, with Kai walking out.  He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw me.  I'm not sure if it was just me that made him freeze, or the fact that Joey was wrapped around me.

"Uh, hey, Blade."

"Kai.  I take it you're going to the beach too."  He nodded as I turned my head toward Jordan, "Why didn't you tell me Kai was here?"

"He came over after you called, and well, I wanted him to come with us."  Jordan looked down at the bed, like a child that had done something wrong.  I looked at Kai, who was still staring, so I broke away from Joey.  There was a look of sadness in Kai's eyes, maybe a look of hurt too.

"If you don't want me to come, then I won't."  His voice wavered, so I knew that he was hurt that I didn't want him around.

"No, it's not that.  You can do what you like, if you want to come with us, then you are welcome to.   Just because we're having problems doesn't mean Jordan can't bring you along.  I'm not going to totally shut you out, Kai."  He gave me a look of relief and a classic Kai smile.

"Thanks.  Uh, can I ask you something?"  Kai asked.

"Yeah, go ahead."

"Are you and him together?"  He motioned toward Joey.  I turned to Joey, my eyes meeting his, questioning what exactly we were to each other.  The stereo was still playing and a Boyz II Men song was heard throughout the room.

In this world today
Love is scarce and far away
And your heart gets so afraid
To trust someone
All the times he let you down
There was no love to be found
Well it's not the end
There'll be time to mend
And you'll love again

Never, never let a broken heart
Take a chance for love away
Don't ever let it make you fall apart
Never, never ever let the pain
Take your need for love away
Never, no never

And I know it seems hard
Open up, let down your guards
But you owe it to your heart
To try again
Oh, comes the time
When we must change
With the past
Don't take the blame
Don't be ashamed
Throw your fears away

Never, never let a broken heart
Take a chance for love away
Don't ever let it make you fall apart
Never, never ever let the pain
Take your need for love away
Never, no never

I know, don't be afraid
For you will never find
Another one you love again
I know that you'll be sorry girl
Be strong before it's too late
Because forever is too long
For you to live in pain
Just don't give up
Please open up to love

Never, never let a broken heart
Take a chance for love away
Never, no never

In those few minutes, a silent communication was made between me and Joey.  The fear, the angst, everything that we were feeling, was communicated to each other.  We both knew what the answer was.

"We're giving it a shot right now.  We know it's very sudden, and that our feelings are still jumbled about other things.. and people, but we can't just stop living because of them."  I relayed what I felt our situation was, to Kai.  He looked at Joey and Joey nodded his head, showing his agreement.

"Well.. I really didn't expect you to have a new boyfriend so soon, but congratulations."  He said it with a smile, but it was a forced one.  I knew what he was thinking.  The one thing that all of a sudden just flooded my mind.  What about Tyler?

"Kai, can I talk to you for a minute?"  I requested.

"Sure."  We headed out into the corridor and shut the door behind us.

"I know what you're thinking... about Tyler."

"I know... I am happy that you and Joey are happy with each other, but Tyler's my best friend.  He's been in a world of hurt.  He knows he was wrong, Blade, and so was I.  I'm not going to use the alcohol as an excuse."

I mulled over my thoughts, "Are you and him...."

"No.  Yesterday, when you saw us kissing, it was a test of sorts.  It was one kiss to gauge our feelings for each other."

"But what about the bathroom...."

"The bathroom?  Oh, shit.  You heard us arguing?"

"Yeah, and your suggestion about the kiss.  Then when everything got silent, well, I figured that you guys realized that you were both still in love with each other."

"Blade, we didn't even kiss in the bathroom, I swear to you.  Tyler just started crying, and I just held him.  Nothing happened, I just comforted him."  That changed my thinking on a couple of things.

"And when you kissed at your house?"

"I'll always love Tyler, no matter what.  But, at this point, I'm not in love with him and he's not in love with me.  That spark we used to have when we kissed wasn't there.  I think on my part, it's because of Jordan and on his part it's you."

I didn't know how to respond to these revelations.  It put a different perspective on things.  "So, you and Jordan are together?"

He smiled, "Well, not yet.  We're taking things slow, but I'm hoping everything works out.  I get butterflies in my stomach just talking about him.  That's why I wouldn't trade the weekend at the beach house for anything.  Even though I made the biggest fuck up of my life, I got to know Jordan on a whole new level."

"Has he told you everything?"

"Yeah.  I cried when he told me about what he used to go through at Bellflower.  He's been through so much, and he wants so badly to be happy.  When I was on the beach with him that night, I realized I wanted to be the one to make him happy."

"You are a really great guy, Kai.  Jordan deserves all the happiness in the world, and right now, you are what makes him happy.  I can see it in his eyes.  After all he went through, then with me turning him down for Tyler, well he needs someone like you."

"He still loves you, you know.  He told me that straight out, but he also told me that his heart was being won over more and more by me.  I- I think I'm falling for him."  He smiled as he spoke about Jordan.

"I'm happy for you."  I gave him a hug, which he readily accepted.  We pulled away and a silence fell over us.  My mind was on Tyler and Tyler alone.  If I had let him explain, then we might be together right now, but then I wouldn't be with Joey.  My heart is going in two directions.

"You're thinking about him, huh?"

"Tyler?  Yeah, I'm just really confused right now.  Is he okay?  I mean, he's not one to do anything to hurt...."

"No...at least I don't think so.  Then again, I didn't think I would either."  His eyes glistened at the memories of his brush with suicide.  "I thank you from the bottom of my heart for stopping me.  I have so much life to live, and without you, I wouldn't be here to live it."

"Kai, you know that I care about you a lot.  Even through all of this shit, we still can talk like we are the best of friends.  I told you, we'd always be best friends, and we will."

"Thanks, I was really afraid that I was going to lose you.  You mean a lot to me, Blade, and you mean the world to Tyler."

I sighed, "What am I supposed to do?"

"Follow your heart."

"What if my heart belongs to two people right now?"

"That's a tough question.  That's a decision you'll have to make on your own.  I can see the love in Joey's eyes, and I know Tyler loves you with all of his being.  Either way, someone's going to get hurt."

"I know.  I have to figure things out."  I paused, then continued, "Why isn't Tyler with you?  I mean, if everyone's going to the beach, then where is he?"

"He's at home.  I talked to him earlier.  He doesn't know about the beach;  I didn't know about it until I got here.  I didn't call him, well, because I didn't know what would happen with you and him being near each other.  He's really fragile right now, and even though you are handling things in a different way, I know your feelings for him are fragile too."

"I know, and I appreciate your consideration, but just because Tyler and I broke up, doesn't mean he should be cut out of the group.  We're going to see each other, no matter what.  There's no avoiding it."

"I'm not trying to cut him out of anything.  I guess it's my way of protecting him."

I nodded at him, "I understand that."  I paused, thinking over the situation, "Can you, Jordan, Joey, Eric and Matt fit in one car?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Can you just take them with you to the beach, and I'll meet you there?"

"Sure..."  He gave me a questioning look, when the door flung open.

Joey and Jordan came barging out, obviously having been laughing at something.  That's when I heard voices coming from inside the room.  I walked in and immediately recognized Eric and Matt's voices on the intercom.

"I'd like a number 5 with no tomatoes."  Eric said.  It sounded like he made a crackling noise, to give the static effect, then Matt's voice came through.

"What would you like to drink with that?"

"Give me a coke, supersized."

"Will that be all?"  Before Eric could answer, I decided to have a little fun.  Jordan, Kai and Joey were listening in as well.

"No, I'd like a side order of Matt to go as well."  We all bust out laughing, as Eric and Matt went silent for a moment.

"BLLLAAADDDDEEE!!!!!!"  Eric whailed into the intercom.  This just caused us to laugh even harder.  Matt, obviously shaking off his shock, finished the 'order'.

"That will cost you $5,000 and 35 cents.  Would you like any salt, pepper, ketchup or cum with that?"  We were rolling on the floor after that.  I would never have expected Matt to play along with our game.

"You guys suck."  Eric whined, and I could just picture the pout on his face.

"Hehe, we'll be down in a minute, guys."  I laughed into the intercom.

Jordan led the way, followed by Kai, myself, and the still very naked Joey, holding just his clothes in front of him.  He got really close behind me, trying to cover himself enough, just in case someone else decided to walk by.  We walked out the door, where Eric and Matt were sitting on the steps.  They looked up at us, but of course their eyes immediately went to Joey.  I swear that boy would never wear clothes if he didn't have to.  I grabbed the extra shorts out of the trunk and tossed them to him.  He dropped his clothes to the ground, without a second thought.  I saw Kai and Jordan taking peeks, as well as the two "hawk-eyes", Matt and Eric.  Joey turned to them in all his glory.

"Oh, don't act like you haven't seen it before.  You've even seen it's favorite trick."  He gave them a Cheshire grin as they blushed, and I snickered.  Kai and Jordan didn't seem to get it at first, but then a look of realization came upon their faces.  Joey pulled up the shorts and threw his street clothes into the trunk.  I took out the bag and cooler Eric and I had packed, and gave them to Jordan.

"You guys can take these so you won't have to wait for me to get there."  They all looked at me confused as I opened the driver's side door of my car.  "Eric, Matt, you guys are gonna ride up with those three clowns.  Stay out of trouble and I'll meet you there soon.  If you need anything call my cell."

"Wait, where are you going?"  Eric yelled out.  As I was ducking down into the car, I told him where I was headed,
"Tyler's."  I started the car up, then took a glance at Joey.  His normally smiling face had dropped at the mention of Tyler.  I leaned over the passenger side and yelled out the window, "Joey, come here for a sec."  He sulked over and leaned in the window.

"Yeah?"

"I'm just going to get him to come to the beach with us.  Don't worry, okay?"  He didn't say anything, so I leaned forward and gave him a passionate kiss.  I took his hand and squeezed it, getting a small smile from him.

"Okay.  I'll see you in a little while."

"Joey?  I love you."  The look of surprise on his face was evident, as I put the car in drive and went on my way to Tyler's.

I was okay with saying that to Joey, because I do love him.  The problem is, I love Tyler too.  I wish just once, things wouldn't be so complicated.  While driving to Tyler's, my stomach started tightening, giving me that nervous, jittery feeling.  I don't even know what to say to him anymore.  I'll just ask him to come to the beach, and that's it.  I don't know if I can deal with another soul bearing right now.  When I pulled up to Tyler's house, I was almost shaking.  I stepped out of the car, and just took some deep breathes, trying to settle down.  I eventually calmed myself down, then went up to the front door, and rang the doorbell.  I heard rustling behind the door, and then it opened.  I was greeted by a woman, I'd say in her mid to upper 30's, with bright blonde hair and striking dark eyes.  Tyler's mom.  It was no mystery where his looks came from.

"Hi, I'm Blade, we spoke on the phone once."

"Oh, yes, I remember.  I'm Tyler's mother, but you can call me Sandy.  How are you, hun?"

"I'm okay.  It's nice to meet you."

"Aw, it's nice to meet you too.  So polite and cute."  I blushed at her comments, "Are you here for Tyler?"

"Yeah, is he home?"

She sighed, "Yes, he's in his room.  He's been very sad about something lately.  Boyfriend troubles I believe.  I've tried to talk to him, but he won't talk about it.  He hasn't eaten anything since yesterday at school.  I'm a bit worried about him."

"He hasn't been eating?"

"No... maybe you could talk to him, get him to eat something?"

"I will.  Can you show me where his room is, I've never been over here before."

"Sure, come in.  Right this way."  I followed her into the house, and over to a door by the living room.  "Tyler, insisted on turning the cellar into his room.  Just head on down the stairs, he won't hear you if we knock, he's been playing music and singing all day."

"Okay, thanks, Sandy."  She smiled and then went on her way.  I opened the door and slowly descended down the stairs.  I could hear Tyler singing with his angelic voice.

Even a lover makes a mistake sometimes
Like any other
Fall out and lose his mind
And I'm sorry for the things I did
For your teardrops over words I said
Can you forgive me and open
your heart once again, oh yeah

When I came to the bottom of the stairwell, I saw Tyler sitting on a stool with headphones on, belting out the words.

It's true
I mean it
From the bottom of my heart
Yeah, it's true
Without you I would fall apart

Whatever happened
I know that I was wrong, oh yes
Can you believe me
Maybe your faith is gone
But I love you and I always will
So I wonder if you want me still
Can you forgive me and open
your heart once again, oh yeah

He cut his hair.. about to the middle of his ears, and spikey..  he looks good.  I knew why he was singing this song.  He moved a little bit, and I could make out a picture of me and him in his hand.

It's true
I mean it
From the bottom of my heart
Yeah, it's true
Without you I would fall apart

I'd do anything to make it up to you
So please understand
And open your heart once again

It's true
I mean it
From the bottom of my heart
Yeah, it's true
Without you I would fall apart

His singing came to an end, and I could hear him sniffling.  He pushed off the headphones and just let them hang around his neck.  I walked out into the open, taking in his room.  Being a full, finished cellar, it was huge.  He was definitely crying, as I walked up behind his chair.  I gently put my hand on his shoulder, trying not to startle him.  He jumped a little, but didn't even turn to look at me.

"Mom, I told you I don't want to talk about it and I don't want anything to eat.  Just leave me to myself."  He thought I was his mother.

"I'd rather you don't stay to yourself and you are going to eat."  It came out almost as a whisper, but he heard it and whipped around in his chair.  His tear streaked face, and glistening eyes just stared at me.

"B-Blade?"  He took the headphones off and stood up.  He tried to hold in his emotions, but I could tell he was about ready to burst.  I didn't know what to say, but I could see he was breaking down in front of my eyes.  I opened my arms and he just about fell into them.  I held him tight, and dropped to my knees, just cradling him in my arms.  He cried and cried in my grasp.  Tears started to fall from my eyes as well.  It was almost our way of getting the pain out, by sharing it with each other.  After a good 20 minutes, the crying subsided, and his breathing became steady.  I looked down at him, and his eyes were closed.  He had cried himself to sleep.  I brushed my hand across his face, wiping the remaining tears from his cheeks.  Tyler stirred, his eyes fluttered, then opened to meet mine.  His eyes pierced my soul.  He was searching for something in my eyes, something that he needed to see.  I don't know if he found it or not, but a weak smile came upon his face.  I smiled back at him, and then he sat up.  "Does this mean that you forgive me?"

"Tyler, I forgive you, but right now, we can't be together."  His eyes dropped, and his whole demeanor changed.  The hope he had in the moments before had disapeared.

"W-why?  I need you, Blade.  I'm sorry... yesterday wasn't what you thought..."  I put a finger to his lips.

"I know.  Kai explained what happened."

"Then why can't we be together?"  He looked into my eyes again, but I looked away.  Suddenly, as if someone had just whispered it in his ear he said, "It's Joey isn't it..."  He said it like a statement, more than a question.

"I-I'm really confused, Tyler.  I won't lie to you... Joey and I are seeing each other."  His eyes watered again as I spoke, "I love him...but I still love you too."  A glimmer of hope shown in his eyes, but it flickered, as if it wasn't enough.

"So, we really are over?"

"I don't know.  No matter what I do, you are always in my head...and my heart."  I hesitated, then continued, "The type of love I have for you is not something that's just going to go away."

"Do you love him more than me?"

"I can't say how I feel either way.  It's like one half of my heart belongs to you and the other belongs to him."

"What am I going to do, Blade?  I love you more than life...I've never felt so consumed by a feeling before."

"Tyler, I'll always be part of your life, if you'll have me. Right now, we can only be friends... "

"If that's the only way I can have you, then I guess that's how it has to be.  Just promise me that you'll search your heart.. for enough forgiveness, to be with me again.  I know there's Joey... but I don't want you to give up on me."

"I'll never give up on you, never."  An awkward silence fell over us.  My emotions were running wild, sending my thoughts in a million different directions.

Tyler broke the silence, "If you didn't come here to take me back, then why did you come here?"

"Jordan, Kai, Eric, Matt, Joey and I were going to the beach, and I wanted you to come.  They are already there, and I just don't want you left out, or closed off."

He smiled, "Okay.. I think I need the fresh air.  And did you have to come here with no shirt on?"  I laughed at his little joke, then pulled him to his feet as I rose.  I wrapped my arms around him, and kissed him on his forehead.

"I forgive you and thanks for understanding me."  He smiled then walked over to his dresser for some shorts.  He stripped down, and stood there naked, searching for his shorts.  His beauty was matched by none.  Joey and him were like polar opposites, both gorgeous, but in their own ways.  He pulled out an orange pair and a red pair of board shorts.  He turned to me and held them up, obviously asking which he should wear.

"Umm, neither?"  He giggled.

"I have to wear something, it's not a nude beach."

"Wear the red one's, babe."  The 'babe' slipped out of my mouth before I even realized it.  It just made Tyler smile, so I guess it was okay.  He slipped them on, then we headed out.  He told his mother where he was going, and I said goodbye to her.  She smiled at the sight of Tyler out of his room.

We arrived at the beach about half an hour later, and met up with the rest of the guys.  Kai and Jordan looked like they were having fun teaching Joey how to surf.  Matt was helping Eric out, but he seemed to pick it up naturally and he was able to get up on the board in no time.  Tyler and I joined them in the water, getting in on the surfing action.  I did pretty good for my first time, and with the help of "Surfer dude" Kai, I was catching waves like I had been surfing all my life.  It was a great time for all of us.  Goofing off in the water, relaxing on the beach, just being a close group of friends.  It was an afternoon of no worries, something that seemed to be rare for us these days.  Tyler and Joey eyed each other up a bit, but there was really no altercations between them.  We all went to a cafe after we were tired out from the water, where I made sure Tyler ate.  In fact, he ate every last bit of his salad and chicken.  After a few more hours of hanging out, we all headed to our homes.  I took Joey, Matt and Eric with me and Jordan took Kai and Tyler.  Tyler and I held a very long hug before we went out separate ways, which didn't go unnoticed by Joey.  He didn't say anything, but I knew it bothered him.

When, we got home, Matt and Eric went to Eric's room, to get showered and so forth.  Joey and I went to my room and got out of our swimwear.  We both headed into the shower together, but this time it wasn't as innocent as the last time we showered together.  When we started soaping up, our hormones just started raging.  There's an extremely strong sexual attraction between us and it seems almost like we can't control it.  We both decided to properly do what we had the night before, without the sudden interruption of Eric and Matt.  All, I can say is, damn, that boy can work magic with his mouth.  After we were both spent, we finished washing up then went into the bedroom to get some shut eye.  As we got under the blankets Joey spoke up, "Blade, do you really want me or are you really confused, and just don't want to hurt my feelings?"

"I want you and I'm very confused."

"Oh.  So, what about Tyler?"

"Joey, can we talk about this some other time?  I'm really tired and I'm not up to discussing this until I can figure out everything.  Just lay back and go to sleep, don't worry."  I leaned over and gave him a gentle kiss.

"I have to worry.  About us, about my feelings, about your feelings, about Tyler...everything.  Everything is so damn clouded right now."

"I guess we'll just have to take things in stride, one day at a time.  I do love you though."

"You love him too."  I didn't know how to respond to that, but with the truth.

"Yeah...I do love him too."  With that, Joey turned away and either went to sleep or just pretended to be.  I sighed and did the same.

The next week was a normal week, spent on rebuilding friendships.  Kai and I went to the mall on Monday, and bought some things.  We talked out all of our problems with each other, and by the time we were done, our bond seemed to be back in place.  Tuesday and Wednesday were full for me, with back to back hockey games.  We won both games soundly, securing a spot in the playoffs.  There's about 4 games left of the regular season, then the real competition starts.  Our team is very strong right now, and I don't doubt that we can take the championship.

On Thursday, I worked for a few hours, and Tyler surprised me by showing up when my shift ended.  We went to eat at Pizzeria Uno, and talked.  It was really nice to be able to talk to Tyler as a friend, even though I could see he was fighting hard not to kiss me a couple of times.  I can't say I didn't have the urge to just wrap my arms around him and hold him either.  We were strong though, and everything worked out.

Joey and I continued to get closer, until I got home Thursday night.  When I walked into my room after getting home from dinner with Tyler, I found Joey sitting on my bed, apparently just having hung up the phone.  He heard me enter and turned his head to look at me.  His usual friendly smile wasn't there, and it looked like he had been crying.

"What's wrong baby?"  I walked over to my bed and sat down next to him.  I went to put my arm around him, but he just moved away.  It felt like someone punched me in the stomach.  I gave him a hurt look, to which he turned his eyes to the floor.

"I'm sorry.  I-I just... something's happened."

"What?"

"It's just something I have to face, to truly figure out where my heart lies."

"So you're not going to tell me what's going on?"

"I don't want to hurt you.  Just give me some space.  I'm sorry."  Without another word, he stood up and went downstairs to his room, while I was left sitting there in confusion.  I went to sleep that night, hurt by Joey's sudden withdrawal and wondering what had happened.

Friday was just like any other normal school day, except a majority of it was spent for Tyler, Kai, Jordan and I, on rehearsing for our respective music projects.  Joey avoided me at all costs it seemed, and the guys noticed the change in both of our demeanors.  I didn't say anything to them about it, but I could tell they knew something was up.  Unfortunately, I didn't even know what was going on.  The night was washed away by work, and soon, it was Saturday.

I awoke Saturday morning, by my bed bouncing up and down.  My eyes shot open, and there was Eric, using my bed for diving practice it seemed.  He didn't notice I was awake, so when he turned his back and got ready to jump again, I quickly shot my arms up and ripped off his boxers.  He was already in mid air, so he flopped down onto the bed, naked as the day he was born.  He yelped and jumped up off the bed.  He looked down at his predicament, then got a glint in his eyes.

"If you wanted to see me naked, all you had to do was ask."  I laughed at him, then he pounced on me.  We wrestled around on the bed, then somehow ended up on the floor, with me pinning him down of course.  It seems like this is becoming a recurring situation for us.

"Now, why would I want to see you naked?"  I asked.

"Hmmm, because I'm so damn hot and sexy."  He snickered at his own joke.

"Oh, are you now?  Is that what Matt tells you?"  A shit eating grin spread across my face.

"No!  Bllllaaaaaddddeeeee!!  Let me up.. I, uh, need to go to the bathroom."

I could feel 'little Eric' poking into my stomach.  "Haha, yeah, you need some relief."  He looked at me in shock, then turned beat red.

"Shut up!  Why would I jack off, if I have a lip service right in front of me.  Ready?"  He started flailing wildly, bucking his crotch into my stomach.  I jumped up off of him and onto the bed.  I stood up on the bed, and looked down at my little bro, who apparently was very excited, because his little joke set him off.  I watched in fascination as his young cock twitched and shot spurt after spurt of boy juice all over his stomach.  He stopped moving around and shut his eyes, with his breathing getting heavy.  I seized the moment, and jumped off of the bed, giving him a flying elbow!  I quickly laid across him and counted to three.

"The winner and still champion!"  I raised my arms in victory.  Eric just looked up at me and started laughing hysterically.  I swear, I thought I was gonna have to give him CPR if he didn't stop.  "What's so funny, quickdraw?"  I teased.

"Hehe, well, Quickdraw won this shoot out.  I mean, I must've got you in 4 different spots."  He continued to giggle as I looked down at my torso.  Sure enough, there was cum on my chest, abs, and sides.

"Ewwwwww."

"Hahahah.  Awww, you know you like it... you been taking donations from the sperm factory for the last week and a half.  You just got the best tasting kind there is, all over ya."  He stuck out his tongue as I glared at him.

"And you would know this because?"  Hehe, little bastard set himself up for that one.  He just looked at me sheepishly, then grabbed his boxers and cleaned himself up.  I just turned around and went into the bathroom to shower.

I chuckled to myself in the shower, as I washed Eric's baby making juice off of my body.  I guess the smart ass gene got both of us.  He's just like me, maybe even more than I know.  If he really is gay or bi, I hope he confides in me, and knows I will be here for him.  I finished up and went through my normal routine of getting ready.  I chucked my boxers into the hamper then went back into my room to get dressed.  Eric was still casually laying on my bed with the phone to his ear, still naked.  He looked up at me, but continued on chatting away to Matt, I'm assuming.  I put on a pair of white pants, a black, see through, button up shirt and my shell choker.  I left my shirt open, and put some deoderant and cologne on.  Eric hung up the phone, but made no effort to leave my room.

"You planning on gettin a tan on my bed or something?"  I asked.

"Nope.  Just tired.  Don't want to move."

"Well, you have to.  Go grab a shower and get dressed.  We have a party to go to."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah.  Matt has been rambling about it all week."

"Don't seem too thrilled now."

"It's just a party, no big deal.  Matt is just so excited about it though.  His first party.  I got to hear about how all of his friends are going, and how much fun it's going to be.  Oh, and the kicker, his best friend from Virginia is here for the weekend.  I'm just jumping for joy."  Ahh, now I see what's going on here.

"Eric, don't be jealous.  You'll go to the party and have a blast.  If it bothers you to be around Matt with his friend, then you can kick it with me and the guys."  He gave me a weak smile then got up and stretched.  As he walked by I smacked him on the ass, making him jump and yelp.  He turned around and glared at me, but it gave him a little energy boost it seemed, as he made it out of the room quicker than he would have.

I ran some gel through my hair to give it a wet look, then went downstairs to check on Joey.  I knocked on his door, but there was no answer.  I opened the door and stuck my head inside, but Joey was nowhere to be found.  He's always leaving before I get up.  I've been worried about what has been going on lately.  He has all but shut me completely out.  I was about to leave his room, when I saw a piece of paper crumpled up beside a picture of me and him.  I picked it up and read it:

Blade,

I'm really sorry for how I've been acting lately.  I know you deserve the absolute best and I haven't been giving it to you.  The thing is, something unexpected happened the other night.  I just don't know what to do.  I love you very much, but then there's something else holding me back from giving my heart to you completely.  I think maybe we should...

And it just ended.  There were spots on the paper, where it looked like water or something wet had gotten on it.  I don't know what to make of that letter.  What was he trying to say at the end?  I sighed, then walked out of the room.  Eric was in the living room all spiffed up.  He had on a white, satin shirt, a pair of blue jeans and his shell choker.  His hair was brushed back, but I knew that wouldn't last long, it would be hanging in his face in no time.  He smiled when I came into the room.

"Thanks for talking to me before, Blade.  You offering to hang out with me at the party means a lot."  He got up and hugged me.

"Anytime, bro.  You know I'm always here for you.  I like having you around...hehe, you're just like my mini me, except for the whole looking totally different thing."  I grinned at him.

"Hehe, yeah, I'm the better looking one."  I punched him in the shoulder and he feigned injury.  I laughed at him, then we just plopped down on the couch and watched some television.  It was really boring... there's never anything on!  At one point my eyes started shutting, but I jumped right up when the phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Hey."  Tyler.

"Hey, ba... bro."  I caught myself for once.  "What up?"

"Nothing much.  I was just wondering if I could go with you to the party."

"Of course.  Hehe, did you actually think I would say no?"

"Ummm..."  The phone beeped.

"Hold that thought, I have another call."  I clicked over to answer the other call.

"Hello?"

"Is Eric there?"

"He's sleeping right now.  This is Matt, right?"  I asked.

"Yeah.  Hey, Blade."

"Hey, hehe.  That's what you're supposed to say at the beginning of the conversation."

"Hush.  Hehe, you are just like your brother."

"Yep.  So, do you want to leave a message?"

"Yeah, tell him that he can ride with Corey and I if he wants to."

"Um, Matt, do me a favor?  Please don't ignore Eric tonight.  I know your friend is here from out of state, but Eric cares about you a lot, and he treasures your friendship."

Matt was silent for a few moments, "Did he say he felt left out?"

"Well, not directly.  I got the hint though."

"Oh.  I'll make sure he knows I'll never leave him out.  Eric is the most important person in my life, I don't want to hurt him."

"Awww.  Hehe, you sure there's not something you want to tell me?"

"Uh, no."  I could tell he was blushing, "Hehe, well tell him to give me a call, the party starts in a couple hours.  See ya then."

"Lata."  I clicked back over, not really expecting Tyler to still be there, but I was greeted by the sweet sound of his voice, singing some song I couldn't identify.  "Tyler?"

"Oh, hehe, sorry. I was just entertaining myself."

"Aww, that's such a waste of good bodily fluids."  I had to tease him.

"Haha, not that kind of entertaining.  So, what time are we going to the party?"

"I'll come get you in an hour.  Is that okay?"

"Yeah.  Hey, did anyone mention to you that they are letting people sing?"

"Nope.  Why?  Are you singing?"

"Maybe.  We'll see.  So, I'll see you soon.  Bye."  It sounded like he whispered I love you before I hung up, but I'm not sure.  I think a permanent smile was plastered on my face for the next hour.  Tyler was so sweet, even though he was fighting his own feelings to obey my wishes.

Eric woke up and called Matt.  He headed out on his skateboard soon after that, saying he was going to ride with Matt to the party.  The hour flew by, and in no time I was off to Tyler's.  I guess Joey has a way there, since he hasn't contacted me at all.  I frowned at the thought of him avoiding me.  What is going on with that boy?

Tyler was waiting outside his house when I arrived, looking stunning as ever.  He had a white muscle tee on, with rhinestones on the front, and some tight fitting navy blue jeans.  Instead of the spikey look he was sporting yesterday, he had his hair brushed down, with his bangs hanging in his eyes.  I must've been staring too hard, because he when he got in the car he snapped his fingers in front of my face, to see if I was still with him.  I shook out of my daze, then we were off to the party.  It was a relatively quiet ride, as Tyler seemed to be deep in thought about something.  He just stared down at his feet for just about the entire time it took to get there.  When we arrived, I pulled into the parking lot, where there had to be at least a hundred cars.  We both stepped out of the car and just gave each other a look as to say 'wow'.

"I guess this is going to be one wild party."

"Yeah, I guess so."  We walked on up to the beach, scanning for any of our friends.  It was a wild scene.  A couple hundred teenagers spread out all over the beach, some surfing, some dancing, some tanning, some drinking... well you get the point.  The music was blasting, and I'm sure it could be heard a good mile away.  There was a DJ and a live band.  Wow, talk about going all out.  Neon lights, stood all over the place, giving a real club vibe to the whole thing.

Tyler, grabbed my arm and pulled me along, since he had obviously spotted someone we knew.  As we approached the water, there was Kai and Jordan, walking along the edge with their shoes off.  They were so close to each other, you could just tell it was killing them not to be able to hold hands.  They looked up as we approached and smiled.  Kai looked at us funny, then I realized Tyler was still holding on to my arm.  I shook away from gently, but I could see it in his face that it hurt him.  I frowned, then turned my attention back to Kai and Jordan.

"What's up fellas?"

"Not much.  We're just keeping our distance from the crowd right now.  It's so jammed on the dance floor they have setup.  And, well we wanted some time to ourselves."  A slight blush came across Kai's face as he spoke, but his words brought a smile to Jordan's face.

"So, you just want to meet up with us at the dance floor in a little while?"  Tyler asked.  I was happy to see he how supportive he is about Jordan and Kai.

"Yeah, we won't be long.  Then we'll go teach these beach bums a dance move or two."  We all smiled, then went on our seperate ways.

The sounds of LiL' Romeo's 2 way were bouncing off the waves, as people got their grooves on.  Tyler and I just glanced each other, and nodded.  We made our way to the dance floor, where, luckily some space had cleared up.  There were a couple guys break dancing, in a competition type situation with each other.  Tyler and I, walked up to them and made it know we were there.  The guys looked at us, then motioned for us to show what we could do.  The other boy got down and started doing windmills, leading the way for the rest of us.  The crowd backed up and gave us some space, as Tyler, I and the 2nd boy, got down and mimicked the first boy.  We all did windmills, glancing at the other boy for his next move.  He pointed at me, so I guess it's my move.  I started off with a shoulder spin, then up to my feet, quickly back down into a semi split.  I somersaulted forward into an airborne, then finished it off with a baby suicide, and a freeze.  The boy laughed and clapped, obviously not expecting me to know what I was doing.  He motioned for us all to try to do it at once.  I glanced at Tyler, and he had a determined smile on his face.  All at once, the four of us went through the routine I had performed moments before, wowing the crowd, as they cheered us on.  The song ended as we finished up, and the group around us roared in approval.  Tyler and I gave daps to the two boys, then went off to dance in another spot.  The DJ was playing some great stuff.  He went through No Doubt's "Hella Good", Nelly's "Hot In Herre", JD's "Welcome To Atlanta", Eminem's "Without Me", and a lot of others.  Tyler and I broke off, as I went to get some drinks.

When I got to the bar, Scott, Drew and Andy were all standing there.  "What's up guys?"

"Oooo, he learned how to speak again."  Scott snottily let out.  "To what do we owe the honor of this conversation?"

I gave him a questioning look, "What the fuck is your problem?"

"What's my problem?  Let's see, ever since everyone went gay around here, us three have been completely left out of everything.  Like your little beach together yesterday.  Would it have been so hard for you to see if maybe me, Andy and Drew would've liked to go?"

"No... Scott, it's not like I'm purposely ignoring you..."

"Save it.  I get it.  We're not welcome in your new little clique.  I expected more out of Tyler and Kai, but I guess being queer is more important than their friends.  We can't help it if we're normal."  He spit out his words like venom.

"Fuck you, Scott.  You are just a big fuckin' homophobe.  You're no better than any of the rest of them.  You put on this facade of being Mr. Dependable, the good guy, when in reality you're so disgusted with your own friends over something they have no control over, that your true colors are finally coming out.  I'm glad I finally got to see the real you."  I looked at Drew and Andy, "If you two feel the same as him, then you can go fuck yourselves as well."

Scott muttered something under his breathe, but I couldn't hear him.  I just turned and walked back to the dance floor.  Kai and Jordan were dancing side by side, trying to make it look like they weren't really dancing together.  Kai looked up as I approached, and  I could tell he could see the rage on my face.

"What's wrong, Blade?"  Kai asked.

"I just eliminated three people from my friends list."

"What?  Who??"

"Scott, Drew and Andy.  They showed their true colors to me at the bar."

"What do you mean?"

"Scott started bitching to me that they're never included in our plans anymore, and that 'being queer' is more important than our friends.  Oh, and that 'they can't help it if they're normal'.  Nice, huh?"

Kai looked stunned, "Scott said that?"

"Yeah.  I couldn't believe it either.  He's not ruining my fun here, I won't let him.  Just ignore him Kai, don't get into any altercation with him tonight.  I think he's had quite a bit to drink too."

"I won't.. I just can't believe..."  The sound of the DJ on the microphone stopped Kai in mid sentence.

"Alright, y'all, we're gonna slow it down a few notches.  So, everybody grab that special someone and hold them close, it's slow jam time.  But first, we have our first singer!!!  Give it up for my man Tyler, singing the power ballad, 'I Surrender'."

I couldn't believe my ears.. he actually was going to sing!  Kai looked at me, with a somewhat knowing look, as if he knew this was coming.  "Blade, um, I think maybe you should make your way up to the front of the stage."  I gave him a questioning glance, but he just nudged me along.  Tyler walked out on stage and took the mic in his hand.

"This goes out to the one I love.  I hope you'll see that I never meant to hurt you and I need you in my life."  I stopped dead in my tracks when he said that.. he's singing to me.  I slowly made my way towards the front of the stage, squeezing through the crowd of people.  The sounds of a piano came through the speakers, as Tyler started his song.

There's so much life
I've left to live
And this fire's burning still

When I watch you look at me
I think I could find a way
To stand for every dream
And forsake this solid ground
And give up this fear within
Of what would happen if they ever knew
I'm in love with you

'Cause I'd surrender everything
To feel the chance, to live again
I reach to you
I know you can feel it too
We'd make it through

Tyler stared right at me, with determination in his eyes.  Kai and Jordan came up behind me and watched as Tyler poured his heart out.

A thousand dreams I still believe
I'd make you give them all to me
I'd hold you in my arms and never let go
I surrender

I turned my head for a moment and looked at all of the couples dancing with each other.  They were all holding each other close, content with their love.  I saw Eric and Matt dancing with two girls, but their faces were facing each other, and I could see that they were staring at each other.  I glanced at Kai and Jordan, who were standing very close together, their hands interlocked where no one could see.  I smiled at them, but as I started to turn my attention back to Tyler, my gaze froze.

I knowI can't survive
Another night away from you
You're the reason I go on
And now I need to live the truth

Off to my right was Joey.. with his arms wrapped around a dark haired girl.  As they turned a little, I could make out her face clearly... Nikki.

Right now, there's no better time
From this fear, I will break free
And I'll live again with love
And know they can't take that away from me
And they will see... yeah

As I was staring at Joey in shock, I didn't even notice Tyler had hopped off of the stage and started walking towards me, still singing.  As he appeared in front of me, I could see his eyes were glassy, and pleading with me.

(I'd surrender everything)
To feel the chance, to live again
I reach to you
I know you can feel it too
We'd make it through

He reached out and took my hand in his, then belted out the rest of his song.  I just froze in place, trying to take in what was happening.

A thousand dreams I still believe
I'll make you give them all to me
I'll hold you in my arms and never let go
I surrender

Every night gets longer
And this voice gets stronger baby
I'll swallow my pride
And I'll be alive
Can't you hear my call?
I surrender all...

(I'll surrender everything)
(To feel the chance, to live again)
I reach to you
I know you can feel it too
We'll make it through

A thousand dreams I still believe
I'll make you give them all to me
I'll hold you in my arms and never let go
I surrender

I could feel the eyes on us, as I tried to regain my composure without much luck.  I was like a deer caught in headlights.  Tyler seemed to shut the rest of the world out, and he squeezed my hand for my full attention.. to let me know it was okay.

Right here, right now
I'd give my life to live again
I'll break free
Take me, my everything

I surrender all to you
(Right now)
Right now
(I'd give my life to live again)
I'd give my life
(I'll break free, Take me)
Take me, take me
(My everything)
My everything

(I surrender all to you, right now)
Right now
(I'd give my life to live again)
I'd give my life to you baby
I'll break free, yeah free

Tyler's singing came to an end and then the reality of the situation set in.  Tyler just outted himself.... and me in the process.
