Trey said over the phone. Today's the day we're all supposed to go to the movies but Trey is sick. "It's okay. I'm sure everyone else will be able to go without us." "But it's for you. You need to go." "It won't be the same without you though." "I know babe. But you'll get through it. How about next weekend, just you and I go out on a date. I don't think we've done that in a while." "I'll see what I have going on next week. I might have to go over to Mason's for a while to work on the project." "The day that thing is done I'll be the happiest man on Earth." "Be nice. Mason isn't that bad." Recently Team Anti-Mason has got to me a little. I still want to be around him, but it just gets harder every day. "I gotta go. I'll see you Monday." "Love you." "Love you too." We then hung up. I decided I'd text Lizzie and tell her the news. She wasn't that happy. She was so hoping we'd all have someone. I tried getting out of the whole thing but she wouldn't allow it. Even though text I could tell she was pissed. She finally told me she'd hook me up with someone for the night. I didn't argue with her. If you aren't Jessie, you don't win when it comes to Lizzie. "Megan! I need you to take me somewhere!" I shouted down the hall to her room. "What the fuck! I just took you somewhere like...last week. Find another ride." She shouted back. "Fuck you!" For a second I almost peed myself, I thought Mom was still home. I then realized she was actually out on a date of her own. She decided since Megan and I were old enough to take care of ourselves, she could get back out there. As for Megan, I actually thought she changed. I was hoping she'd be the sister she used to be. That's not asking for a lot either. She sucked before she knew I was gay. I texted Lizzie and told her about my next problem. Just as soon as I sent the text, Megan appeared at my door. "Come on fuck nugget. I have to be somewhere tonight." Apparently Megan actually did change. "The kitchen doesn't count as a date, fat ass." I texted Lizzie nevermind and followed Megan out to her car. "One day I'm going to hit you with the car and not feel anything but joy." Megan said as we got into the car. "Not if I hit you with a car first." I said. "You don't get your license for like another two years." She started to back out of the driveway. She nearly hit the neighbor's car doing so. If she didn't purposely hit me, I'm sure she'd accidentally do it like she's done to some many other things. "So? Like you actually waited 'til you were sixteen to get behind the wheel. I remember when you and dumb ass started dating and you crashed his dad's car. You were only what? Fourteen?" "That was a long time ago. I was stupid back then." "You still are." "Do you want me to legit kick your ass out of my car right now." "Have fun getting your thunder thighs over here. Might break a sweat." This made the both of us laugh. It felt good to actually hear Megan laugh with me and not at me. When we got to the restaurant, it was that one Italian place Mason took me to. I told the others about it and they were dying to go here. I told Megan to stay at home and without anything to do so I could call her when I needed to be picked up. She flipped me off as she pulled away. Hopefully that meant ok. I walked in and spotted Macy, Jessie, and Emma. I then looked a little in front of me and saw Mason. He turned and saw me. "Hey!" "Hey. What are you doing here?" "I'm here with a few friends." I looked around to see where the football 'tards were. "Are they like in the bathroom?" I asked him. "I think the guys are but the girls are right over there." He then pointed over at the table where the girls were. These girls...were specifically MY girls. Jessie. Macy. Emma. The ones I'm here to see. The ones Mason is with. The girls are here with both of us. Lizzie set me up on a date with Mason. "So. You're the person Lizzie got a hold of?" I asked. I wanted to pee myself but held it back. I peed before I came but right now I wanted to die and when you die you lose control of your bladder and urinate and defecate all over yourself. Thankfully the latter wasn't about to happen. "Yeah. I actually saw her at the store. She was buying something for Jessie and when she saw me she said that she needed me to go on a date with you tonight since Trey bailed on you. I said okay and I followed her here. I hope that's okay with you." "Yeah. It is." ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ -Trey's perspective- "I'm sorry babe." I said to Spencer over the phone. I felt perfectly fine, I just didn't want to go out tonight. It felt like a staying-in day. "It's okay. I'm sure everyone else will be able to go without us." "But it's for you. You need to go." I knew if he didn't go he'd want to come and take care of me or something like that. "It won't be the same without you though." "I know babe. But you'll get through it. How about next weekend, just you and I go out on a date. I don't think we've done that in a while." "I'll see what I have going on next week. I might have to go over to Mason's for a while to work on the project." "The day that thing is done I'll be the happiest man on Earth." I seriously despised Mason. I know I'm not that much better than he is, but at least I don't hide him from the world and pretend I don't know him. "Be nice. Mason isn't that bad." "I gotta go. I'll see you Monday." I was going to disagree, but I honestly didn't feel like fighting. "Love you." "Love you too." I hung up the phone and stretched out on my bed. I hated lying to him but I needed some me time. From what I can tell, everything is going great between Spencer and me. I was kinda pissed when I found out he cheated on me with Daniel. I know I have no room to talk, but it's not as if I'm like in love with Canyon. What happens between me and Canyon is pure lust and nothing else. Spencer actually has feelings for Daniel and they're extremely strong, from what I can tell. I wish Daniel was just out of the picture for good. My phone started to go off. I looked and saw it was Canyon. I then answered it. "Hey there." I said. "Hey! I know we're not like together but I'm bored. You wanna hang out? Like get something to eat and then go see a midnight movie? Maybe go back to my place afterwards and put you in your place." I could hear the sexual undertone in his face. It immediately made me stiff. "Pick me up in thirty minutes. I'm craving a little foreplay right now." Canyon never answered. He just hung up. My mom then called me downstairs and told me someone was here to see me. I just knew that it was Spencer stopping by to check on me. I was wrong actually. It was Canyon. "I'm here." "Next time tell me you're staying the night with a friend." Mom said. "I hate finding out when the friend comes to visit. "Sorry mom." I then ran out the door and dragged Canyon with me. We quickly got into his car. We were soon cruising down the road. "So...what were you saying on the phone?" Canyon said as he unzipped his zipper. "Better yet, I'll just show you." ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ -Spencer's perspective- "So Mason, how are you and the whore?" Lizzie asked. Mason grinned. "Izzy is all right. She's still pissed at you though." "Thank god. I hate that bitch. Why the fuck are you dating that cum dumpster anyways?" Lizzie asked. "I don't plan on breaking up with her." "But you're fucking Spencer. That's like cheating." I nearly choked on my food, so did Mason, Macy, Kurt, Jessie, Emma, and Daniel; basically everyone. "Lizzie! We're just friends!" I said a little too loudly. I looked over at Mason and saw he looked a little hurt for a second, but then went back to his normal self. "Yeah. I don't have anything against gays, lesbians and bi's but I'm straight." I knew otherwise but I didn't want to say anything. "If you were-" Jessie started to say. "Shut up, Jessie." Macy said. "You know I love you and agree with you but right now is not the time to start shit." Mason looked at me confusedly and I mouthed that I would tell him later. He somewhat grinned and rolled his eyes. "So, tell us about yourself, Emma." Daniel said. "Well...I have a younger brother and an older sister, I take all honors classes, both my parents were born in Korea but I was born here in the United States, as well as both my brother and sister, I'm going to try out for volleyball and softball while I'm in high school, I'm a freshman, and my favorite color is lime green." "Did you know you can tell what kind of person someone is by their favorite color?" Kurt said. "Green means something like world peace." "How the fuck does that describe her?" Lizzie asked nonchalantly. "I don't know. Shut the fuck up." "Hey! I ain't the one makin' myself look like a fuck up now am I?" "Are you all always like this?" Emma asked. We all then said simultaneously, except Mason and Emma, "Yes." It made all of us laugh. "I think I'll start hanging out with you guys more." Emma said. "That would be the biggest mistake of your life." Jessie said with a laugh. "Between Kurt and Lizzie it's like a competition for who can be the worst." "I think Lizzie is winning right now though." Macy said. "Winning!" Lizzie shouted. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ -Trey's perspective- "So...how are things with you and Spencer?" Canyon asked me. We were sitting in McDonalds and I was chomping down on a Big Mac and a medium-sized fry while Canyon ate like a baby and got a small fry and a milkshake. "I think everything's going great. We've still not moved to the next level." "Thankfully. You're the only hot piece of ass I've been able to get in a long time." "What are you going to do when Spencer and I are finally screwing? You gonna find someone else to fuck around with?" I asked him. "I was actually thinking about settling down and trying out the whole dating thing. I know it won't last forever but I want to make sure that I can actually have feelings for someone that don't only stem from sex. That's why I think we should hold out for a while." At first I didn't get what he was talking about. What was he wanting to hold out on? Once I realized what he meant, I actually felt a little happy. "So...you think you like, like me?" "I'm not sure. I like hanging out with you and the sex is amazing, but like...I want to know if you and I would actually work out. I don't want to like take you from Spencer but you're the first guy I've felt something for and I want to see what could come out of it. If you decide you want to stay with Spencer then I'll move on." "Well...that's sweet of you. And yeah. I think I want to see where things would go. I mean, Spencer and Daniel have had a romantic thing going on even though he and I are dating, I don't see what's so wrong with doing the same with you." "To make this official..." Canyon started to say. He then leaned in across the table and kissed me on the lips. I kissed him right back with no regret. There were people around who were staring but I didn't give a fuck. Canyon then sat back down and our kiss was over. He then smiled. "What?" I asked him with a smile on my face as well. "That was our first kiss. And that was actually my first kiss with a guy. I've fucked a few but we never kissed or anything." "I guess I'm one lucky person then." "Yep. You really are." ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ -Spencer's Perspective- "So...what movie are we going to see?" Mason asked. Currently, the eight of us were walking to the movies from the restaurant. Macy and Kurt were holding hands, as were Lizzie and Jessie, Emma was walking beside Daniel, who was standing beside me, and Mason was on my other side. It kinda reminded me of the first time...but this time it was Mason, not Trey, and Emma, not Hannah. "I really want to see The Vow." Emma said. "But I guess that is out of the question?" "I want to see that too!" Macy shouted. "You do too don't you Kurt?" Macy laid her head on his shoulder. "But...but...I guess so." Kurt finally learned. Girls are always right. "I think it sounds pretty cool." Jessie said. "I ain't watchin' that shit." Lizzie said. "I may be a chick but I'm a chick with a fake dick so no." "Well right now it's four to one. What do you guys think?" Macy asked Daniel, Mason, and me. "Well what if it's a tie?" Lizzie asked. "Then I change my vote to no." Kurt said. Macy moved her head and let go of his hand. "I'd rather not watch it." Daniel said. "Four to two." Macy said. "I'm not really a chick flick kind of guy." Mason said. "So it's all down to Fairy Boy!" Lizzie shouted. "Come on, Rainbow, vote no so we can see something awesome with deaths and drugs and sex and lesbians. Definitely something with lesbians." "Please, Spencer." Macy said as she grabbed my hand and did what she was doing to Kurt a minute ago. "I really want to see this movie and if you say yes then I'll pay for your ticket and anything you want to snack on." "Well, both of you have strong arguments, but since I dislike being called Fairy Boy, being called Rainbow, and I don't want to see anything with lesbians, I guess I'll have to say yes to The Vow." Emma, Jessie, and Macy were so happy while Lizzie, Kurt, and Daniel looked like they died a little on the inside. Mason was okay with my choice though, he said that the only reason he said no was because he didn't want to be seen as a "fag," even though that word is banned in our circle. Like Macy said she would, she bought my ticket and got me some snacks. I sometimes felt like Macy was my new best friend. Don't get me wrong, Lizzie and I are still extremely close, but she and Jessie act like they're getting closer. We got into the theater and sat in the very back. There weren't many others in there, just like last time, but the difference this time was that Mason and Isabella weren't here together and Mason finally knew who I was. "When's the last time you were here?" I asked Mason as we entered the theater. "When Lizzie decked Izzy." Mason said with a laugh. "She was so humiliated she doesn't want to come back so I haven't had the chance to come back 'til today." "You know she deserved it." I said as we sat down; Emma was sitting on the other side of me. "Yeah...but let's not talk about it right now. That's the past. Let's talk about the present." "How about we shut up and watch the movie." Macy whispered? down. The lights had just begun to go down. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ -Trey's Perspective- Canyon and I are done with dinner now and just walking around the strip mall where the theater is. I make sure to stay far away from the theater though, it would suck if Spencer caught me out with Canyon. "Would it be okay if we like...held hands?" Canyon asked. Instead of answering him, I grabbed his hand. He looked over at me and smiled. I knew that there would be kids from my school who would see me and Canyon, but none would care enough to tell Spencer, so I was safe. "This actually feels right." Canyon said. "But, I don't want to try to rush anything." I looked over at him. "Sure, it's not like you've made a few home runs again and again and again." "You know what I mean." Canyon said laughing. "I have no clue." I said with a smile. "Explain." "I mean, like, you and I, I don't want to rush into a relationship. I want to, like, take it slow, and like, yeah." He said, stammering on almost every other word. "So, we're not allowed to have fun anymore?" I asked. "I was actually thinking...I know I wanted to hold off, but I think I want to try something tonight." "And what's that?" I asked. "I want to make love, not fuck. I want to look you in the eyes and kiss you and show you how much you mean to me right now. Hopefully the spark will still be there in a month or two when I'm finally able to clear my head and find out what I want to do." People around us were just now starting to comment. A couple people said "Fag," some said "That's why gays have bad names," and others said "There are children here." But neither Canyon nor I really cared. I would have if I were with Spencer, but with Canyon, I don't feel any inhibitions. "I think I would enjoy that. Not just because you and I would be like...together...but because I want to know what love is like, not sex." The whole time I was talking, I had Spencer on my mind. I wasn't thinking I was talking to him, but it felt like he was right there and heard every word of it but I kept going. The worst thing was I really didn't feel that hurt at the time. "Well, I hope we get the chance." Canyon said. He started to blush; I have no clue why he was so nervous. I mean, he's like mega cute. "Look!" I saw something I've been dying to get since I first saw it. "Can we please go in there! There's something I want really really bad." I started to drag Canyon before he could respond. All he did was laugh. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ -Spencer's perspective- "So...who's picking you up?" Mason asked me as we left the movie theater. I have to say that the movie was good. I think I even saw Lizzie tear up at some parts. "Megan. Things have been going well between us so she's starting to help me out." "I should have known. Megan's been protective over you when Jordan bashes you. She like gets mega pissed." "She's finally being a sister, dude!" Lizzie said. "Last time she was nice to you was when you almost told your mom about her sneaking Jordan over for the night. What the hell did you do to her?" "Nothing. Like I said, she realized what could have happened to me and she felt bad that she had been so rude to me." Out of the corner of my eye I could see Mason frown and look just plain mad. "As long as I've known her she's been an ass to a certain degree." Kurt said. "Yeah. I remember when she would pour sand down your pants and then tell your mom that Lizzie had done it because you insulted her and both of you would get in trouble." Daniel said. "Now those were the days." "That stopped when they found out the truth. Every time Spencer said something I thought was mean to me, I would punch him in the gut. That's when Megan started getting in trouble for things we did." That made Lizzie, Daniel, Kurt, and me laugh since we were the only ones around for that. "Who's Megan?" Emma asked. "Spencer's bitch of a sister. She's been being very nice for some odd reason lately." Lizzie told her. "I've only met her a handful of times and I can tell she's a bitch." Jessie said. "A hot bitch though." Lizzie added. "Damn right she is." Kurt said. Lizzie and Kurt have always had this little crush on Megan. Megan has no clue, thankfully, but these two are like obsessed with her at times. Jessie and Macy rolled their eyes. They then started to talk between themselves. "I don't think Megan is that big of a bitch." Mason said. "Well you're dating the queen of them." Kurt said. "Everyone else looks like a fucking missionary to you." That made everyone laugh. Our laughing, however, was soon cut short. We heard someone call my name. It wasn't someone in our group and it wasn't Trey. I turned to see who it was and saw Ricky coming down the sidewalk. Mason looked like he was a dog ready to attack. "Hey there." Ricky said as he winked. "You should go." Mason said. "I just wanted to talk to my best friend." Ricky said as he smiled at me. "We're not friends. So go." "Well what if I told you something extremely important. Would you be my friend?" "Depends on what it is." No matter what I would turn and leave him there. I have nothing to do with him. "What if I told you that your "baby boy" is out with some other guy right now and he's at the mall?" "If that were true then I'd go on a fucking date with you." I said. "Well you better be thinking about where you want to go because Trey was just with this very cute blond guy. He looks like he could be a senior in high school or a freshman in college. He was pretty built too and had cute green eyes, I think. I couldn't get a good look because they were making out and the dude closed his eyes." "Nice try, Ricky. Trey is at home. He wasn't feeling well." "Call him. I don't think he'll be sick now that he's out." I didn't want to believe Ricky, but the description fit Canyon and I know Trey and Canyon have been hanging out a lot more recently. "You're just jealous that I'm with Trey now. I'm sorry that you're too slutty for him." "I guess I'll go then. And btw, you'll find out Trey isn't as sweet as you think he is. He was sex crazy in middle school when we were fucking; just imagine him now." "Come on." Mason said. "I think we should leave this asshole alone." The eight of us turned and left. Nobody said anything to me. I could hear some whispering; I couldn't tell exactly who it was since I was at the front of the pack and didn't feel like snooping. I was too busy thinking about what I should do. I then let my fear consume me and pulled my phone out. I dialed Trey's number and pressed talk. My heart was pounding, I was hoping that he'd be home and I could hear his TV in the background. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ -Trey's Perspective- "Hello?" I said into my phone as I walked into the bathroom. "Hey baby." Spencer said. "Oh. Hey! What's up babe? You having fun?" "Yeah. I was just wanting to check up on you. You feeling any better?" "Just a little." Actually my stomach was ready to come out, I was that nervous. "But I think I'll be okay after a good long sleep tonight." "That's good." Spencer said. "I miss you." "I miss you too, babe. I gotta go, my head is starting to hurt a bit." "I love you." Spencer said. He had never said that to me before. I wanted to cry, I felt like a horrible person for basically being out on a date right now with a guy I've been fucking with for a long time. "I love you too." I actually meant that too. I felt like Spencer deserved to know how I truly feel since I don't tell him everything truthfully. "Night." "Night." I hung up the phone and let out a sigh of relief. I was so glad that I didn't ruin anything. I was still worried about what I should do with Canyon. I walked out of the bathroom and saw Canyon looking at some new jeans. "I bet your ass would look great in those." I said to him as I walked up behind him. "I don't know if they'd fit though." Canyon said. We actually could both tell they wouldn't fit him at all. "Maybe if I had some help in the stall..." "That sounds good. Just follow me sir." After Canyon and I were done fooling around in the changing room, we left and started to just walk around and enjoy the moon, which was full tonight. It felt nice to just walk. I hadn't done it in a long time and it seemed like the right thing to do. "Anything wrong, babe?" He called me babe. "Sorta. It's just...nevermind." "A part of a relationship is talking to each other. I need to see if I can handle it and give good advice." He smiled. "I just...I lied to Spencer because I wanted to stay home. But then you called and like I came out with you. I didn't intend to do that, but I just feel bad that I blew off my boyfriend but then felt up to going out with you tonight." "So, you're basically saying that you want me more than him?" Canyon asked. "What?" "You wanted to hang out with me and not him. The way I see it is that you think I'm more important than he is. I'm not like bragging or anything about that either. It's just my opinion." To some degree I agreed, but to another I didn't. I love Spencer, but the physical love I crave isn't there. I love Canyon too, and the physical love is there, it's just, I don't know if it's right. "I wish I could just choose right now and just get it over with. I hate this. I hate dragging Spencer along and dragging you along." "I know Spencer isn't here, but I'm going to tell you why I think you should pick me." We conveniently stopped in front of the gazebo in the middle of the place. He led me inside and sat me in the middle circular bench with moonlight shining in. I know this sounds so cheesy, but it's what happened. "I think you should choose me because I need you. Like I said earlier, I haven't felt this way for another guy in a long time. The past few guys I've been with have been for just sex and nothing more. But with you, I just, it feels like I'm in love. I know it's too early to say that but I just have this feeling that it'll be that someday." It finally struck me. I didn't want Canyon. I know he just poured his heart out, but I knew he'd be able to get back up. He's also never felt pain so he'd never be able to really be there for me. Spencer, on the other hand, needs me as much as I need him. "Canyon...I love you...b-" "What?!" Canyon and I turned to see Spencer, with Mason of all people, standing behind him at the outer edge of the gazebo. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ -Spencer's Perspective- "Well we're gonna go." Lizzie said, talking about herself and Jessie. Kurt, Daniel, and Emma had already left. That left me, Mason, and Macy here. "My mom said she's like...somewhere here." "Okay. " Macy said. "We'll see you later." We, meaning Macy and I, each gave Lizzie and Jessie a hug before they left. Lizzie then gave Mason a huge ass hug. Jessie didn't. "So, what do you guys want to do before we end up leaving?" "Technically I could leave now, but I think I'll stay with whichever of you two leaves last so you're not all lonely." Mason said. "That is very kind of you, Mason darling." Macy said with a British accent. "You are quite welcome, madam." Mason said with his sad attempt at a British accent. That made the two of them laugh. I was still hung up on the whole Trey thing. I called him and I didn't hear anything, but I just couldn't shake the feeling. "You okay?" Macy asked me. "I think so." I said. "Just don't think about it." Mason said. I didn't say anything about the? whole Trey thing still being on my mind, but somehow I knew. "How about we go on a midnight stroll." Macy said. She grabbed my hand and Mason's hand and we started to just walk around outside in the dark. There was a full moon out and it was so beautiful. Trey and I had not yet done this. I couldn't wait 'til we did though. "How about we go over to the gazebo to be idiots and jump from bench to bench." Mason suggested. "That sounds fun." I said. "Well of course, I thought of it." That one actually made me laugh. "Well...when we were at the library and you took-" "You swore you'd never say that!" Mason shouted. He then started to chase me. The funny part, though, was that neither Mason nor I let go of Macy's hands, so she was spinning in the middle. All the fun we were having at the time made me forget all about Trey. After Macy announced that she was about to throw up, I ran off toward where the gazebo was and Mason started to chase after me. I soon grew tired and started to walk. He easily caught up to me though. "You know...we left Macy like all the way back there." He sounded like he was out of breath, but I doubt that he was. "She knows where we're going." I said. I then looked up and saw the gazebo; there were two people in it. Mason had the idea to go up and scare them, since they looked like they were close to our age and they probably knew him so it would be funny. When we got closer, however, I realized they were two guys and I recognized the voice talking. He was saying, "I think you should choose me because I need you. Like I said earlier, I haven't felt this way for another guy in a long time. The past few guys I've been with have been for just sex and nothing more. But with you, I just, it feels like I'm in love. I know it's too early to say that but I just have this feeling that it'll be that someday." The next voice...I knew "Canyon...I love you too..." It was Trey. And Canyon. Together. Saying I love you to each other. "What?!" I shouted. Both of them turned and saw me standing there with Mason. "Babe!" Trey shouted. "This isn't what it looks like!" "Sure it isn't! You just didn't tell him that you fucking love him! He just didn't fucking spill his heart out for you!" I shouted. I was now in his face. "Listen, baby..." "Don't you fucking call me that either, you asshole!" "But-" The next thing I did was punch Trey in the stomach as hard as I could. I would have hit him more, but Mason grabbed me and held me back. Canyon went to help Trey. "You can fucking have his lame ass! 'Cause we're through! Did you fucking hear that, Trey?! We're fucking through you little piece of shit!" Mason then put one of his hands over my mouth and started to walk away. I tried getting out of his grip but couldn't. He finally put me down when we were far enough away that we couldn't see them. I then just broke down. Mason held me as I cried on his shoulder. Macy soon found us and asked what was wrong. When Mason told her, she started to hug me as well. I don't know how long we were there, but that's the last thing I can remember. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Every time I read a story of Nifty, I never read the top part, so just in case you are like me and only read the bottom portion if you liked the story, here is my email again: wah.stories@yahoo.com.
