I tremendously appreciate all of the emails and support. I'm so glad I can provide some enjoyment to you. I rely on you for direction and inspiration, so keep being awesome ok? Also I'm SO sorry this chapter took me so long to do. Some of you have hit the proverbial nail right on the head, life is busy and I don't have near as much time as I'd like to write. On top of that I feel this internal clock now to have chapters up by Friday lol. That didn't happen this time lol I NEED you all to let me know what I'm doing right and wrong, weird or cool or stupid. Give me your thoughts on the story's direction. Shoot me an email: amanrastan@gmail.com I suppose the usual discalimers apply: This story contains sexual acts between males, some of which may be minors. Damian asked "You drive a mustang? Seriously?" "What's wrong with mustangs?" "On their own? Nothing. Add you and it feels like a massive cliche." "No way, I'm just another bad ass kid driving one of the most iconic domestic muscle...Ok shut up." He said, after he proved my point. I just laughed. "It's ok buddy, dinner's on me tonight." "Dinner? Where? Just the two of us?" He seemed concerned. "No, my brother's grilling steaks and we have an extra. We'd love for you to join us." I said, trying to put him at ease. "Ok, I can do that." Sure he can, I thought, just wait till he sees his brother at the house. This could get interesting. ************************************************************************ CARTER That was an awesome nap! I almost forgot how good Bell is with his mouth. A guy could get used to that. I wonder why he and Jack haven't settled down yet. They probably know as much about their own relationship as I do; and that's not shit mind you. Speaking of them, where the hell is everybody? I'm butt ass naked and limp dicked on the couch. I stand up and stretch. "BELL!" I yell. No answer. I walk into the kitchen and I see steaks thawing. Sweet, I love red meat! Just then I hear a key in the front door, probably Bell. I make my way out of the kitchen, "Hey Bell where did you--JESUS CHRIST!" He's not alone! I'm butt fucking naked and in this asshole walks with some kid. His eyes are as big as saucers right now and I'm having trouble covering up. I guess I'm waiting for some kind of explanation. "Hey Carter, you're awake." Bell says "No shit A-hole, who is this kid?" He looks like a freshman, maybe he's just young looking... I don't know. His eyes are glued to my crotch though. I'm not fully contained at the moment and God knows I'm trying to be. "This is Lucas Wright." Bellamy explained, "He'll be joining us for dinner." "There's two of them?" I asked. Self explanatory, I know. But shock speaks for itself, unfortunately, and it might've come out a little harshly. Lucas winced when I asked that question. I didn't like the look on his face, I disliked even more the fact that I caused it. "Hey, look dude, I didn't mean it like that, just surprised is all. I'd shake your hand but I don't think you'd appreciate that." I joked. "Don't be so sure about that." Bellamy laughed, walking past me. I looked back at Lucas to see a decent sized tent in his jeans. OH! Ok, well not the first time a boy found me attractive. At first glance he was attractive too, his eyes are gorgeous. Take it in stride Carter, take it in stride. "I'm going to go put some clothes on... I'll be right back. Pleasure to meet you Lucas!" I said before turning around and dashing for the stairs. "Pleasure's all mine Carter!" He called out, eyes probably glued to my smooth, milky white ass. I threw on some shorts and a white beater tank top. Now why in the hell are we dining with one of the Wrights? I didn't even know there was another one. But if I know Bellamy, there's an ulterior motive to this somewhere. I came downstairs to find Lucas helping Bellamy with dinner. There's two more steaks out than before... Weird. "Hey Bell, why are you grilling two more?" I asked. "Oh you just never know when we'll need an extra piece of meat in this house." He said with a frown on his face. I hear the front door open and arguing too. "Dude I'm telling you with the aftermarket turbo in my GTS, I could totally take the pinks right off you." That's Jack. "And I'm telling you, with my larger front mount intercooler and aftermarket exhaust, your skyline is mine." I don't know who that is. "Whatever fool. Bellamy! Carter! We have another guest." Jack said, walking into the kitchen. "What do you mean another-" The new arrival started to say. Oh my god! This must be who I think it is. I just can't believe my eyes, he resembles Lucas a lot. Wait a second, Bellamy knew Damian was coming. Was this Jack's idea? Are they enemies or not? Can't be, we don't break bread with our enemies. Better men might but that's just not us. No this seems legit, dare I say tame, even by our standards. . "Hi Damian." Lucas said very tersely, his eyes suddenly glued to the floor. What is this? Is this fear he's feeling? Maybe not but I don't think I like what Damian's presence is doing to him. "Hey brother." Damian smiled. Lucas looked back up to see his brother smiling at him, he seemed to brighten up a little bit, not much. "Ok Long story short, Bellamy brought Lucas, I brought Damian and we're all going to have a nice steak dinner." Jack layed out. "You intentionally didn't tell me he was eating with us Jack." Damian leaned over and said, trying not to sound put out about it. "That's because I knew your pansy ass wouldn't come if I did." Jack explained plainly, walking into the kitchen to sit down. I don't think Lucas is used to hearing people talk to Damian like that, judging from his mouth fell open. He looked from Jack in awe back to his older brother. Damian kind of just smiled again awkwardly. "Lucas how do you like your steak cooked?" Bellamy asked. "Um, well done I guess." He answered. "Ewww!" I sounded out, "You are not eating well done anything in this house! Anything past medium rare is overcooked, and that's what you're getting." I told him. Jack laughed hysterically at that. Overcooked meat is like a sin, it's nothing to joke about. He should know, he told me the same thing once upon a time. "What about you Damian?" Bellamy tried again. "How do you all eat yours?" Damian asked. "Rare!" We all answered at once. "OK fuck it, I'll have mine rare too." Damian said. Bell smiled and nodded his approval. Jack didn't want to eat at the island in the kitchen, special occasion was the excuse I guess, so I set the small oak dining table instead. I wasn't quite sure how I should do the seating arrangement. I placed Jack at the head of the table with Bellamy on his right. I placed Damian on his left simply because I didn't feel like Lucas should have to be across from his brother if they're not on the best of terms. That left me next to Damian and across from Lucas, giving him something nice to look at. Jack and Bellamy poured themselves what they always drink with steak, straight whiskey. We're highschoolers without supervision, what do you expect? At Jack's prompting Damian accepted the same. I chose just to have a corona and I was happy that Lucas joined me in that. Bellamy began plating food. He's really an excellent cook. Jack and I know our way around a kitchen too from years of Dad being away. But Bellamy blows our skills out of the water. Before he even sits my plate in front of me I know my steak is cooked perfectly and that the broccoli he chose to add is seasoned so well that, well, so well that it makes me want to eat all my broccoli. Ok food's at the table, people are at the table, let's get this show started. ********************************************************************** JACK You certainly don't need a steak knife to cut the tension at this table; a plastic spoon would suffice. No one is really speaking. Carter keeps glancing at Lucas. Lucas looks like he would rather be eating Carter than anything else. Damian is seemingly invested in understanding the back and forth between both of our little brothers. Bellamy is Looking between the Wright brothers, trying to glean any information he can about their relationship I'm sure. Maybe I can help him out with that I thought. After all, he doesn't have to tail their dad home now, and I pretty much know what their problem is. "So, does your father know where you both are?" I asked, "I'd hate for us to get you into any trouble." They looked at eachother then Damian looked at me. "I texted him that we were both having dinner with you. He was surprised but pleased." Damian said. "Hmm... Surprised and pleased that the two of you were eating with us or with each other?" I asked. This time Damian glanced at Lucas but Lucas didn't raise his eyes. When Damian looked back at me I tried my best to give him a 'say something encouraging, you fucking idiot!' look. "I don't know why that would surprise him, I love being with Lucas." Ok... That might've been a little too much too soon. "YOU WHAT?" Lucas raised his voice in disbelief. "You haven't said ten words to me in two weeks! We haven't had a meal together in a month!" Lucas looked downright pissed. "That doesn't mean I don't love you Lucas." Damian defended. "You have a real sadistic way of showing it, you know that? You avoid me like the plague." "I just don't know how to talk to you right now, and I'm sorry for that." "You made sure everyone else avoids me like the plague too! I have zero friends because of you." "I just want to make sure no one hurts you. I DO care about you." Damian said. "If you really care, then you have to let go, Damian!" Lucas all but yelled. "No one's going to beat me up! Everyone's too afraid of you to do that. We're talking about you controlling my life. Getting hurt is healthy. And eventually, that's going to happen." Lucas explained. He's absolutely correct - sound reasoning. "I don't mean to micromanage your life. I guess I just don't know how else to show you I care about you." He said sounding defeated. "I already know you care about me, you asshole." Lucas said. "You do?!" "Of course I do! Our problem has always been that you're shit at showing it." "Well how do you want me to show it?" Damian asked. "It's the little things. Try not to cringe if I check out a hot guy." Lucas said. At this Damian looked at Carter, I guess trying to see if he could be ok with the thought of him and his brother together. "Jesus Christ! I'm not talking specifically about Carter! Yeah, he's drop dead fucking hot-" "You think I'm hot?" Carter asked, his eyebrows shooting up. "God yes! But you all are. I'm sitting at a table with three ridiculously sexy guys and I can barely enjoy it for fear of how you're going to react!" Lucas said looking back to his big brother. "I'm ok with it now. I promise." Damian responded. "How can I be sure of that?" Lucas asked. I felt it was ok to jump in now. "Take it from me... I knocked some sense into him." I said. Damian sighed and gave me quite the exasperated look. "What is he talking about?" Lucas asked Damian. When Damian didn't respond right away, Lucas studied his face more closely. "How did you get that cut on your forehead?" Damian sighed again, before looking back to his little brother. "I got some sense knocked into me." That might've been the most humble I've heard him yet. Of course, no one likes to be humbled. It goes against human nature. Thankfully dad taught us some of the basics of philosophy at a young age. He always told us that the fundamentals of philosophical thought should be ensconced in every academic curriculum. Because of my love for philosophy, I go out of my way to humble myself, or at least try to. I consider myself acutely aware that a great many people are not afforded the luxuries that my brothers and I are accustomed to. But I personally haven't decided yet if knowledge of my own humility is sufficient enough to ignore prejudicial looks and thoughts. A look that Lucas is giving me right now... Yes, he's looking at me in quite a different light right now. I can't be sure if his thinking of me is now based on fear or admiration. I guess in time we'll find out. "Look," Damian continued, "When you came out, I admit I didn't know how to deal with it. But I also didn't have anyone to go to either. I'm not close friends with any of the other gay guys at school, and talking to my friends about it would be like pissing into the wind... So when I swung on Jack," He gestured to me, "and he swung back on me, I gained a lot of respect for him in that moment. When we actually had a chance to sit down and talk to each other as equals-" "Equals? Hehehe," Carter started laughing, "Jack only has one equ-" "STOP talking Carter!" I shot him down. It's the wrong time for that conversation. "As I was saying," Damian looked suspiciously from me back to Carter and then back to Lucas, "We gained some trust towards each other. At least I think we did." "Mmm," Bellamy grunted before swallowing his food, "We don't share meat with our enemies. If you're sitting at our table, then we trust you." he finished. That last statement from Bell alleviated what was left of the tension. The rest of the meal went on amicably. When we finished eating, both of the Wright brothers thanked us for the food and thanked Bellamy for cooking. They offered to help us clean up. We declined though. Usually all three of us tag team the dishes, even though Bellamy cooked he insists on helping still. We encouraged them to enjoy the deck, overlooking the ocean until we were done. After we were cleaned up I looked at Bell and told him I needed him to come with me to talk to Damian about something. I refilled mine and Bellamy's glasses, no more for Damian seeing as he would have to drive soon. Seems like he and Lucas just finished another healthy conversation and were just enjoying the silence. Well, save the waves crashing on the shore. "Lucas, would you mind if we spoke to Damian alone for a moment?" I asked. "Not at all, I should probably head home anyway." He said "No, I'm driving you home." Damian said firmly. "You can come with me until they're done." Carter said and we all looked at him, "What?" "That's a great idea. Carter can show you around the house." Bellamy proposed. With that Lucas got up and followed Carter into the house. I wish I could be a fly on the wall of whichever room they're headed to. Sadly, I think there's something more important to deal with. Damian watched them until they were out of sight. "He's not going to fuck him is he?" Damian asked us. "You never know." Bellamy answered. "But so what if he does?" I asked, Damian looked at me like I was crazy, "You're not making his decisions for him anymore, remember?" "Right, ok so what do you want to talk to me about?" "I want to talk about what you mentioned in detention... What is it we should know about you?" I asked him. He scrunched up his eyebrows and looked over at Bellamy. "Don't worry," I told him, "there's no one I trust more than Bell." "Ok, to put it bluntly, Salt Stone has a gang problem." He said straight faced. We sort of just stared at him. I'm not sure if that's the big news or not. A lot of places have gang problems. "You're going to elaborate on that right?" Bell asked. "Yeah, um, there are two prominent gangs here; The Uptown Poppers, they got their name because they love selling pills, specifically prescription narcotics. Then there's the Green Street Goons or GSG; their headquarters is on Green Street road in downtown, which is where they got their name from. They love selling the traditional drugs: weed, meth, coke you name it." He stopped, I guess for dramatic effect, I don't fucking know. "At the moment they have a mutual territorial understanding, they're not encroaching on each others businesses, but they are encroaching on the town. The police don't have much love for uptown anyway and they've stopped patrolling Green Street altogether. The gangs, on the other hand, have begun extorting local properties, even town officials for money and resources. That's why certain businesses are closing and why so much of the town's leftover revenue is going into the school. Folks around here want decent teaching staff and equipment in the hopes that they can get their kids out of here." "Are they recruiting from the same highschool?" I asked. "No. Both gangs sell to the high schoolers... They don't want to recruit their own cash cows." He explained. "Makes sense." Bell said, "So, then where are they coming from?" "Neighboring towns... But mostly from down south." "Why down south?" I asked. "By boat we're only a couple days trip from Miami. Both Gangs have liaisons down there that lend management advice and grunts in exchange for both cash and product." Ok, something is not adding up here. "Damian, how do you know all this?" I asked. "Well, you know that ever since the eighties, the police love using child informants on the sly." He shrugged. "You have got to be fucking kidding!" Bellamy exclaimed. "I wish I was! A police detective came to my house a couple years ago and talked to my dad and I about it. I agreed to help him on the condition that he would get Lucas and I a full ride scholarship to a great school. Only now I'm in balls deep with both gangs, and they're starting to get suspicious of me and I'm not totally convinced that my handler isn't corrupt." He finished solemnly. Bellamy and I took a moment to let this sink in. Our new friend was a mishandled police informant, at the mercy of two large rival gangs who are becoming increasingly aware that he may not be who he says he is. Discovery could... No. That would mean not only his life, but Lucas's as well. "To what end is this detective dirty?" Bellamy asked. . "He may be in with one of the gangs... I'm not sure which." Damian answered. "If he's truly flipped, then his knowledge of Damian is the most pressing issue." Bellamy said to me. "Yeah, but why create an informant for the very gang you're working for?" I asked back. "Perhaps simply to gain intel on the gang he's not working for." Bellamy responded. "But there's paperwork involved with confidential informants... Why would a dirty cop go to such formal lengths?" I inquired. By now Damian was listening to our deduction of the situation with incredible interest. "Ok... Maybe he has an ulterior motive. If he's just an affiliate of the gang then he may be personally invested in whatever information Damian can get." Bell concluded. This gave me a thought. "What if he's invested in information ONLY Damian can get?" I asked Bell. He looked at me for a moment, then we both looked back to Damian. "Damian, what do you know about your dad's friendship with our dad?" "Only that they were in the Peace Corps. together." "Hahahahahahaha!" I literally laughed out loud. The answer was right under our fucking noses the whole time. "This isn't funny Jack... Do you understand what this means? What the implications are?" Bellamy scolded me. "What are you two talking about?" Damian asked, evident concern in his voice. "Our dad's weren't ever in the goddamn peace corps." Bellamy told him. "I don't understand..." Damian looked at me. "Several years ago, our dad jokingly called the CIA the Peace Corps. We've referred to them as such ever since." I explained. "What does this mean?" He asked. "It means our dad's were in the fucking CIA together." Bellamy sighed. "We're practically family!" I smiled. "I can't believe this! How could he have kept this from me this whole time?" Damian said, staring out over the ocean. I know how he feels, only I'm more angry at myself for not realizing it sooner. "Look at me." I told him, he fixed his eyes on mine. "There's still a lot we don't know. We don't know why this detective is interested in your dad or if he's interested in our dad. We don't know yet what exactly this detective's plans are for you. It is clear however, why we moved here." I looked at Bell and he nodded his agreement. "Your dad knew you needed help and our dad knew we could provide it. We're not going anywhere man, we've got your back." Damian started to tear up, not from weakness mind you. He's been under for so long with no help and no one to turn to. To suddenly hear that he has our word that we'll be here for him no matter what was overwhelming. I could almost see some of the stress leave his body as he reclined in his chair and stared up at the stars. "So what's our first move?" He finally asked us. "Well, I would say we need to take out this detective." I said casually, Bellamy nodded at this as well. "You two want to assassinate a police detective?" Damian looked at us incredulously. "Sure! What day works best for you?" Bellamy asked him. ************************************************************************* CARTER His eyes are ridiculous. I tried to look at them as much as I could during dinner, but every time I got a good look, they were already staring right back at me. They may be the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. He's not saying much... Maybe he's embarrassed that he let out how much he's into me. I don't want him to feel uncomfortable though. I figured our brothers would be talking for a little while so I brought him to my room. He kind of just looked around, checked out my desk and then made his way over to my bookshelf. He ran his fingers along the selection and then stopped. "You have The Prince by Machiavelli?" He asked me. "Yeah, all three of us have a copy actually... It's a favorite around here." "So you're not just good looking are you?" Whoah! Where did that burst of confidence come from? "You'd be surprised how often people think I'm just that." I answered. "People always take me for cocky and conceited, immature and irresponsible just because I'm the younger brother." "I sort of know what it's like to be dismissed because of who my brother is. People have always tiptoed around Damian, they forget that I'm even here." He sounded so sad. I felt safe reaching over and rubbing his back to comfort him. We understand something about each other, something so small but that makes up such a huge aspect of our characters. "Dude! I don't know how anyone could forget you!" I said. He looked at me, first at my eyes, then down to my lips. My hand gravitated from his back to his brown curls. My eyes moved to his lips where his tongue just darted out. They looked so soft and moist and pillowy. I pulled him to me, or he pulled me to him...fuck I don't know how it happened but when my lips touched his for the first time, it was magic. He wrapped his arms around me when I tangled my fingers in his hair. Our tongues met each other and he let out the lowest moan... Not so low that my dick didn't hear it though. When we pulled apart, I was standing at attention. SHIT! I really enjoyed that... BUM! BUM! BUM! My door shuddered. "CARTER!" Bellamy yelled through the door. "Damian's ready to leave." "Ok." I called back, "We'll be right down." Lucas was looking at his feet, I just can't have that right now. I raised his chin and kissed him again. "I'm going to see you tomorrow." I told him. "OK, I'd like that!" He smiled. 'Yeah' I thought, 'I'd like that too.' I walked him to the door and downstairs, where our brothers were waiting patiently. Damian thanked us again for feeding them and told Jack he'd wait to hear from him tomorrow. He then wrapped an arm around Lucas and they walked out to Damian's car. Lucas looked back at me before getting in and I swear, those blue eyes of his pierced right through the dark to find me. "You done staring?" Jack asked out of nowhere. "Maybe. Maybe not... What's it to you?" I asked, a little defensively. "You need to be careful with him." Is all he said back to me. I thought about what he said and instead of biting his head off again, I agreed with him. "I know." I said thoughtfully. He seemed pleased with this. "So, what does Damian need with you tomorrow?" I asked "Us." Bellamy corrected. "Ok, what does Damian need with us tomorrow?" Jack took the last sip of his whiskey, "We're going to kill a cop." "Doesn't get much more savage than that." I said. Jack smiled cryptically, however. "We'll just see about that." ************************************************************************ Thanks for editing this chapter Sam! There was quite a bit I missed lol WOW! I feel like a lot has happened in this chapter and I also feel like it was really short. I'm sorry about that. I hate making you guys wait longer than a week because I know how I am with other authors lol But quality over quantity right? If it's ok with you guys, I may just have to take a little longer to do some chapters. At any rate please let me know what you think about this one. How are the brothers going to take out a cop? Will anyone miss a crooked cop? When should the brothers confront their father about his past? Is there dick in Carter's future? hehehehe You guys are awesome! Thanks for sticking with me! Let me know what you think about this one! Dillon
