Although this is my first story I've wrote, I have published other stories on here and am currently working on one. Under the high school section, I have the One or the Other, which is a current project; Hayden's Story; and GAvin's Got Game. Under the college section, I have The After Party. The latter three stories all contain sexual content. If you enjoyed reading this story, you can email me at wah.stories@yahoo.com. I love getting fan mail and can't wait to here from you all! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The day has finally came! It's the last day of school! The only bad thing is, none of us are really enjoying it. Since the whole thing with Tommy and his dad yesterday, all of us are making sure he's okay. "So, today is the last day we'll all be sitting here together." Blake started off our breakfast chat. Oh yeah, that makes everything even better. "Don't look at it that way, Blake." Jay said. "Well, I don't see it any other way. You, Amy, and Ginger are all going to college. We might see you around, Jay, but as far as Amy and Ginger, this may be the last time Layla, Noah, and I see them." "We'll be back over Christmas Break." Ginger said. "And we'll definitely visit often and come back next year for summer vacation. I plan on staying in the dorms all four years so I'll have to come back." Amy added. Ginger nodded her head in agreement." "Mom's gonna be so sad when you leave." Tommy said. "She'll baby Tyler and I so much that she may not let us go back to school." "That's a good thing though." Tyler said. It made everyone laugh, but didn't help our gloomy moods. The bell rang and we all went to our 2nd period classes. I grabbed all of Jen's things and we headed over to math. Tommy was trailing behind us. He seemed to be the saddest of us all. We got to the classroom and we all sat down. Since everyone knew about Tommy and his problems with his dad, you could hear the whispers. I looked over at Tommy to see if he was okay. He was staring at me but averted his eyes when I looked at him. I think I could see tears in his eyes. "Okay class," Mrs. Kennedy said. "Today we will be taking our finals. I know that it is the last day and something big did happen yesterday," she looked over at Tommy, "but if I hear any whispering and I figure out who it was, you get a zero, and if I don't, the whole class gets points deducted." Usually Mrs. Kennedy was nice. I guess she was trying to keep people from talking about Tommy. She handed out all the tests, each were completely different so no one could cheat. When she handed Tommy his test, I could see there was a sticky note on him. He read it and then nodded his head in approval. I'm not sure what it said but Tommy looked scared. I finished my final quickly because, well, math is easy to me. It's the same stuff over and over but with different numbers and different ways to solve it. I handed in my test and went back to my seat. Mrs. Kennedy smiled at me and mouthed `Thank you'. I smiled back and mouthed `You're welcome'. Jen was the next one to turn her test in. Thankfully my mom and Tommy's mom allowed the five of us, me, Tommy, Tyler, Jen, and Noah, to get together yesterday and study for all our finals. Jen usually struggled with math but last night I was able to help her understand at least half of what would be on the final. About six other kids turned in their test before Tommy stood up. He slowly walked to the front of the room. Mrs. Kennedy stood up and waited for him to reach her desk. He placed his test on her desk and the two of them walked out of the classroom. Right now I was worried that Tommy was in some kind of trouble. Mrs. Kennedy has never taken a student out of the classroom unless they were misbehaving. When they came back in, there were only seven minutes left of class. Both Tommy and Mrs. Kennedy were smiling, yet had tears in their eyes. Everyone had handed in their tests so we were all talking to our friends when they came in. Tommy grabbed his chair and came over to my desk, where Jen and I were already at. "What did she need you for?" I asked. "She wanted to tell me that she'll be right here anytime that I need someone to talk to. Did you know she has a degree in counseling as well as teaching?" "Actually I did." Jen said. "She was one of the counselors at one of those meeting for teens who are victims of rape." "Anyways, I then started talking to her about my home life and the fear that my dad has put into my family and all that stuff. By the time I was finished, both her and I were crying. She told me that I should see a therapist so all the problems I have with my dad don't ruin my future relationships. I could end up just like him or fear one of my future partners will be just like him." "So you plan on dumping me?" I asked smiling. "Not really. You and I are going to grow old together, but since you're lazy, you'll die first. I'm pretty sure that I can still get me some nice ass when I'm 100." "So the day I die is the day you find yourself a sugar baby?" "Babe, I plan on losing you in my 60's. It'll take 40 years for the Alzheimer's makes me forget everything great about you." "Really?" Jen asked. "It'll take mine about 4 minutes max to clear out all the good memories." Tommy and Jen laughed. The bell rang. Tommy and I escorted Jen to her next class and then walked hand in hand to Law & Justice. I did hear some rude comments but most of the students ignored us. No one was brave enough to say anything to our face thankfully. We sat down in the back corner, where we always sit, and waited for the room to fill up. About 10 seconds before the bell rang, half the class came in and went to their seats. Thanks to Tommy, I was able to do good on this final. I didn't want to cheat, but Tommy somewhat made me. All he did after he finished his test was try to signal the answers to me with his hand, which was at his side so the teacher couldn't see. I finally finished the final and went to turn it in. Mr. Macintosh smiled and took my paper. He then whispered, "I'll pretend I didn't see Tommy giving you all the answers." I looked shocked, but then was able to respond with, "Most, not all." He laughed quietly and started to grade my test since I as the first to turn mine in. About 5 minutes later, Tommy turned his in. I could see them whispering after he handed Mr. Macintosh his paper. When Tommy turned to return to his desk, his face was bright red with embarrassment. After 4th ended, Tommy and I headed to lunch. We were surprised to only see Tyler and Jen sitting at the table. "Where's everyone else at?" Tommy asked as him and I sat down. Tyler opened his mouth to start talking but Jen beat him to it. "Ginger, Amy, and Jay are all in the gym helping set up for graduation, they were able to take all the finals one after another so they could help out, Blake took Layla out for lunch as a special treat, and Noah and AJ are in the library studying for their last finals." "You would think they would want to have a last lunch with us." Tyler said. "We're still going to meet up before Amy and Ginger leave. It's kinda good that we're all adjusting to who we'll mostly be seeing over the summer." I said. "I'll be over every other day to check up on you, baby." Tyler said kissing her on the cheek. "And I'll bring lover boy along as well. He'll want to get some action over the summer since I won't put out for him." "You're just jealous that Shawn and I have a sex life." Tommy said. I started to blush. I keep forgetting that Tyler and Tommy tell each other everything. I just wish that they would at least say some of it only in private. "Damn right I am! I wish I could have all the sex I want and not worry about getting someone pregnant." Tyler said. "It's called a vasectomy, babe." Jen said. "Nothing goes near my family jewels unless it's you babe." Tyler said trying to sound sweet and dirty at the same time. "For now you'll have to settle for your hand." We all laughed at Tyler. He made the jacking off motion with his hand and Jen smacked his arm. This made Tommy and I laugh even more. "Hey." Noah said as he came out of nowhere. "What's wrong dude?" Tyler asked. Noah had this pissed off look on his face. "It's AJ." "What about him?" Jen asked. "We broke up." "What?! You two were doing so good yesterday!" I said. "I know. But today up in the library, he was being a jerk! All I wanted to do was hold his hand and he'd move his away. I kept trying and then he just blew up. H told me that he needed to study and he didn't want to hold my hand. So I packed my shit up and told him if that me being affectionate was ruining his grades then I'll just leave his life completely." "You know you kinda overreacted right?" "He never wants to be affectionate when it's just me and him. Around you guys, my family, and his family he's all over. As if he's trying to tell everyone he's mine. But when it's just me and him and I try to snuggle up to him or even hold his hand, he gets pissed at me." "You should talk to him." Tommy said. "I broke up with Shawn over something stupid and it took me six months to get him back. You two need to sit down and really listen to each other. Don't let the one person who makes you happy walk out of your life because happiness is hard to find." "Thanks Tommy. I think I'll go talk to him now sine he's leaving right after school." "Go get your man back!" Tyler cheered as Noah stood up and walked to the door. Before he was out of sight, he flipped Tyler off. "I don't understand why everyone does that when I'm nice to them." "You sound stupid. Therefore nice things sound sarcastic or stupid." Jen said. "But I love your voice so don't change it." Tyler and Jen kissed on the lips. "I knew there was a reason why I wanted to spend every moment with you." "It's because you're a girl and you're desperate." I said to Jen. "That and she's the best person in the world!" Tyler added. "So you think I'm desperate?!" Jen said. Yet another famous Jen argument commenced. Thankfully the bell for 6th period rang shortly into the argument. "We'll finish this at my place. Now come on." She kissed Tyler on the forehead. Then her, Tyler, and Tommy headed to their last class of the day. I went by myself to sixth and waited Noah to show up. When he finally did, the bell had already rang and the seat beside me was taken by this chick who thought I was cute. His eyes looked red from what I could tell though. He sat on the other side of the room and Ms. Murphy passed out our final exams. To my surprise, it was only one question. "In detail, what did you think about this class?" By the looks on everyone's face, except Noah, everyone was happy with this final. No one took longer than 30 minutes to write their `final'. Ms. Murphy took up all the papers and started to read them. About 2 paragraphs into the first one, she looked up and gave us the permission to talk. I walked over to Noah and saw that his eyes were red and he was still crying. "What's wrong this time?" "He won't take me back. He said he may not even be coming back from his grandparents. If he likes the community and the people, he's going to stay there and finish high school." "I'm sorry Noah. I wish there was something I could do to help you." "Just keep my occupied. Writing that answer got it off my mind somewhat. I just hope I'll be able to pull it together before I get home. Mom won't give up when it comes to finding out what's wrong with her kids." "Well I'll try my hardest to make you happy again." Noah smiled. "Thanks Shawn." Later on in the day, Jen, Tyler, Tommy, and I were at my house, waiting for the others to arrive so we could go to the graduation. Tommy and Tyler's mom is already here and she's taking me, Tommy, Blake, and Layla while my mom and dad have Jen, Tyler, and Noah. When we left school today, Noah was happy again. So if he kept that mood while he was at home, he'll be here any minute. "So Ellenore," That's Tommy and Tyler's mom, "are you as scared as we are?" My dad asked her. "It's not every day that you lose your biggest baby." "I know what you mean, Scott." That's my dad. "It feels like just the other day Ginger and Amy were playing at the park together. Now, after a short fallout, they'll be graduating and going to college together." "I've always feared this day." My mom said as she placed her cup of tea on the coffee table. The parents went on talking about Ginger and Amy while they were babies so the four of us kids zoned out. Soon there was a knock at the door and Blake and Layla came in. They both matched and were wearing school colors; navy blue, gold, and black. It seems like everyone had the same idea because we were all wearing at least one of those colors. "You two look stunning." My mom said as she walked over to them and hugged them. "Thankfully all you babies will still be here next year. Hopefully you two girls can bring move of you into the group. I need more girls to talk to." Blake and Layla shook my dad's hand and hugged Tommy and Tyler's mom before the six of us headed out side. "By the look on their faces in looks like we're going t a funeral." Blake said as he shut the sliding door to the kitchen. "They've been like that ever since they put on their clothes." Tommy said. "My mom has been in this mood for the past two days. All she does is check on Amy and see if she's doing okay and to talk to her about college." "Yeah, she has. I can hear her crying sometimes after she leaves Amy's room." Jen added. "Not like hardcore crying like what Tyler does on the phone, but more like a soft whimper." "I do not cry!" Tyler said. His cheeks were red with embarrassment. He usually plays things off cool. "When I call you I'm just a combination of tired and sick, so it sounds like I'm crying." We all laughed. "It's okay to cry." Layla said. "Blake does it all the time too." "I do not!" Layla started to fake sob and mocked Blake. "`Please Layla! I'm sorry for what I said! Give me one more chance! Pleeeeease!'" We all started laughing at him too. Tyler even joined in this time. "It seems like the tough guys aren't that tough after all." I said winking at Tyler and Blake. "I bet you cry all the time, Shawn. You just look like a crier." Layla said smiling. Tommy jumped in and defended me. "Actually he barely ever really cries. Sometimes he'll tear up when I'm crying, but I never really see him cry unless something really bad happens." "It's pretty sad that I'm the manliest one in the bunch." I said. We all laughed and the conversation soon shifted to next year. We were all planning to talk and hang out again like we did this year even though none of us will most likely have classes with Blake or Layla. Noah soon arrived and greeted all of us. Since there was only like an hour until the graduation started, the women decided it was time to head out. Blake sat up front with Tommy's mom and Layla sat in the back with me and Tommy. She asked Blake and Layla questions about their lives since she barely saw them. They were polite and answered every question. When we got there, we found good seats and the ten of us all sat together. About ten minutes later, Jay's parents found us and joined with us since their son was friends with all of us. The three women all started crying when they realized that their baby was all grown up. It was sad but what else do you except a mom to do on a day like this? The graduation ceremony soon started. When Ginger walked onto the stage, she's the class valedictorian, we all cheered for her. She cleared her throat and began her speech. Throughout her speech I would look around to see the reactions on others. Ginger's mom was obviously crying. But it wasn't loud. My mom had tears building up in her eyes. The thing that surprised me the most was my dad had tears building up as well. Once the speech was over, everyone, and I mean everyone, stood up and cheered. Ginger thanked everyone for coming out here one more time before she went back to her spot in the graduating class. One by one, the principal called off the names of the students. Even though we didn't know all of them, we clapped for them. But when we did know the person, we sounded like a herd of elephants. Amy was one of the last people to go across the stage. After she shook the principals hand, her gaze went to someone at the bottom of the stage stairs. I couldn't see who it was, but I saw them open their arms. Amy ran off the stage and jumped into this strangers arms. Everyone clapped and the kid behind Amy was almost completely ignored. My mom and dad gave me a weird look as to ask me who this person was. I shrugged my shoulders and we watched the rest of the ceremony. When it was all over, we were told we could go outside to the football field for some snacks and to meet up with the graduating seniors. We all went out there and waited for Jay, Ginger, Amy, and the mystery person to show up. Jay was the first to show. His mom nearly knocked him over with a hug. She started to cry. He patted her back and tried telling her everything was okay. She kept insisting her life was over now that her baby's gone. "So, what's it feel like to finally graduate?" Blake asked. He's the next one of us that's leaving. "It felt great honestly. I'm like finally an adult now." Jay said. You could tell he was enthusiastic. "You know we're going to miss you right?" Tommy said. Jay hugged him. "All you got to do is call me and tell me when and where the party is and you know I'll be there." "I know, it's just, we won't see you as much as we use to." Tommy said. They were still hugging. I actually felt no jealousy as they stood there hugging for like, ever. "I know. But I gotta go to college. If I don't I'll have a sucky job and you guys will make fun of me for the rest of my life." The finally stopped hugging. "You know it!" Tyler said. We all started to laugh but then Ginger showed her face. Tommy, Tyler, and Ellenore all ran up to her and hugged her. Just like Jay's mom, Ellenore kept telling Ginger her life was over. Knowing my mom she'll be the worst of the three moms. "That speech you gave was fantastic." My dad said. He hugged her. He's never hugged any of my friends or Amy's before. "Thank you, Mr. Washington." "You're an adult now, you can call me Scott." "Thanks Scott." About 20 minutes later, Amy came running towards us. She ran and jumped right into my dad's arms. He started to cry and said he misses the days she could do that and it wouldn't break his back. We all laughed but then she kissed him on the cheek and apologized. He kissed her on the cheek and said it was okay. My mom wrapped her arms around Amy and started to cry and scream at the same time. Like I said. She'd top the charts on psycho moms here today. Amy tried getting her to quiet down, but Mom still screamed like a banshee and barely got out words. My dad was smiling and trying so hard to not laugh at his wife. Amy then jumped out of my mom's arms. "Oh yeah! Guys, I have great news." She pointed out towards where she came from. Walking up to us, was Gray! "Gray and I are back together. We talked about things earlier and we're ready to try dating." My mom started to cry again and this time she hugged Gray. After we were done, we each went our separate ways. I was back in the car with Tommy, Blake, and Layla. Tommy and I were sitting side by side. He grabbed my hand and said, "This year has been the best." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ~ IMPORTANT ~ There are two chapters that were written by a friend of mine and I will tell you if when the chapter is written by her.
