It's only a short one but hopefully, fingers crossed, i will have a longer one up soon! thanks for being patient!! here it is What happened in Highschool Chapter 4 The phone rang again. I stared at mum horrified. "I yelled at Aaron! He was right and I yelled at him!" Mum smiled at me. "Go talk to him. It'll be ok." Nervously I picked up the phone. Aaron sounded so stressed out. "Matt! I'm sorry! It wasn't my place to say anything and I don't think you are naive or anything!" "No Aaron. It's me that kinda needs to apologize. I totally overreacted and was a bit of a shit really." I sat down leaning against the wall. "So I'm sorry." There was a silence. Then: "Thank god! I thought I had blown it." I grinned through my tears. "Not yet you haven't. We haven't got that far." Another silence, then a laugh. "Oh shit Matt!" I looked up to see my mum shaking her head at me. I stuck my tongue out and she returned the gesture. So immature. Aaron and I talked for ages and he told me he was driving me to school the next day. That night I thought things over and despite my usually oblivious state of mind I realized a few things. I was determined to talk to my friends and find out what all that weird secret society stuff was about whenever Kurt was exceptionally cranky. Driving to school with Aaron was awesome. He kept his hand on my knee between changing gears and kept glancing at me out of the corner of his eyes. I kept smiling and even blushing when I caught him. It was lunchtime when I saw Abby heading towards our seats. I knew she had a cousin who was gay and who she was really close with so I figured she would be a safe bet. I grabbed her arm and pulled her after me around the side of a building. "Matt? What are you doing?" She asked in shock. "I need to talk to you about something important." "What's going on?" She demanded. "Ok. I have to tell you something and you have to promise not to freak out and to keep it a secret." I figured I covered all bases there for any eventuality. Abby eyed me closely. "Ok. I promise to try not to freak out and will take the secret to the grave." I made her shake on it. "Alright. So I'm gay and I'm going out with Aaron." I must have said it really fast cause she just blinked at me. I started to repeat it but she interrupted me. "I heard you." She raised a perfect eyebrow, which disappeared behind her black straight cut fringe. "Not expected but not altogether unbelievable. Makes sense." "Oh. Um^Å so yeah that's it." There was a weird silence then Abby hugged me. "Thanks for trusting me Matt. But why did you tell me? I mean I assume there must be a reason cause you were in such a hurry." She stepped back and waited. "Oh yeah. So Aaron told me-" I started but she interrupted again with a grin. "Aaron huh? He's seriously hot. Then you're pretty hot too." She looked like she was thinking when she said. "I wonder what you two look like naked, all sweaty-" I whacked her arm, trying not to blush. Not because of what she said but the images that sprang to mind. Speaking of springing, I hoped my hardening dick wasn't visible. "Concentrate and no thinking about Aaron. He's mine." Abby grinned. "Honey, I hardly think he's going to switch sides^Åunless^Å" "He's not switching sides!" "Ok ok! Jesus! Alright so you were saying?" "Oh." What was I saying? "OH! Right. So Aaron told me that Kurt had a crush and me and I bitched him out and then we had a fight and I took off and then mum told me she thought Aaron was right and the more I thought about it the more it clicked." I took a breath and noticed that Abby was no longer smiling. "Oh." She bit her lip and frowned. "Um, me and the guys all kinda suspected it. Kurt gets insanely jealous if you spend more time with anyone else, I mean see how he reacted to Aaron. He was really pissed." "Shit Abby! What am I going to do? What do I say to him?" "Just wait it out for a bit. Let him calm down. By the way you should consider coming out to the rest of the guys." I frowned at her. "Soon. Baby steps at the moment." She grinned. "So are you going to buy me lunch?" The week went slowly and the dreaded weekend with my dad approached. In the mean time me and Aaron got closer and tried to ignore Abby smiling at us, sometimes as a proud mother other times with a suggestive look on her face. On Friday I went to Matt's house after school. We had weetbix in the living room and watched TV until Aaron's mother and brother came home. Kane was still on Uni holidays and had gone shopping with his mum. Kane came and hung out with us and Aaron's mum gave me a funny look and went into the kitchen. After a moment she called out for Aaron to come help her, which he left to do so. Me and Kane started chatting about random things. Kane was a great guy and really fun to talk with, he never treated me like he was superior or anything. A few moments later Aaron came in looking seriously pissed off. "What's the matter bro?" Kane asked as Matt sat next to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder, pulling me against him. "Nothing to worry about." I looked at Aaron and frowned but he just smiled and gave me a peck on the lips. It was finally the weekend and mum woke me up at the ungodly hour of 9.00am. I mean come on it was a Saturday! The drive wasn't that far, about two hours down on the Mornington Peninsula. My father was fairly wealthy and lived in this massive house with my brother. Pulling up in front of the house, mum and I looked at each other and took a deep breath. "Brace yourself." My father met us at the door. The man had put on weight since I had last seen him. He was tall and imposing with a slowly balding mat of black hair. The first words out of his mouth when he saw me were, "What the hell have you done to your face?" Great, just great.
