Date: Sun, 25 Mar 2012 01:14:58 -0400 From: Kyle Jones Subject: Yeah, This Is High School Yeah, This Is High School, Part I "I'm beautiful in my 'cause God makes no mistakes, I'm on the right track baby I was born this way." Kyle's alarm loudly played for the fourth time. "Ugh," Kyle moaned as he opened his eyes. As he unlocked his phone, he quietly cursed as he saw that it was already 7:30. He forced his naked body up and hurriedly started to put clothes on. After a couple minutes, he opened his bedroom door and got a surprised as his next-door-neighbor, Bradley, was brightly glowing. "Morning, sunshine," Bradley nicely greeted with a smile, "You don't look too happy." "How could you be? It's Monday morning and the first day of the new semester." Bradley's smile increased and Kyle playfully pushed him out of the way. Bradley was Kyle's best friend. Kyle knew him since he moved to California from Ohio in 6th grade. Bradley was there every morning they both had school with a friendly smile on his face. Since Bradley's family was a little more well-off than Kyle's, he went to a private school and Kyle went to the local public school, so their school schedules weren't always the same. Bradley followed Kyle into the bathroom, where Kyle started to brush his teeth. Kyle stared at himself. He was very good-looking, about a 9. He was biracial, black and Filipino. His parents were unusually light-skinned for their races, so Kyle came out looking white with a tan. Most people thought he was white, until they met his parents. He had jet-black hair that he kept short because it got really curly if he grew it out. Big brown eyes, a small nose, large, full lips, and a couple of scattered acne covered his face. He always he trouble with acne, but he was so attractive, it didn't take away from his beauty. Kyle spit and rinsed and looked over at Bradley. Bradley was tall, with a semi-muscular build. He had long blond hair which greatly contrasted with his big green eyes. A grouping of freckles covered his cheeks. He was smiling, like usual and he was wearing his school uniform, a blue blazer, a gold and blue stripped tie, khakis, and a pair of grey Converse. "What?" he asked when he noticed Kyle looking at him. "Nothing," Kyle said and smiled. Kyle had the biggest crush on Bradley since he moved. Bradley was the first person he told he was gay, and to this day he was the only person who knows. He was, unfortunately, straight. "I have to go, do you wanna do something after school?" Bradley asked. "No, sorry. I have to go to a party." Kyle lied so he can have the evening to himself. Bradley wasn't surprised. Kyle was quite the partyer. "Okay, see you tomorrow morning," he smiled and left the house. Kyle left minutes after he did, grabbing a waffle and eating it as he walked. Kyle's school was in the complete opposite direction of Bradley's. ----------------------------------------- As Kyle entered his homeroom, he saw an unfamiliar face with his homeroom and geometry teacher, Mrs. Pratchett. When she saw Kyle, she called him over. "Good morning, Kyle. I'd like you to meet Liam Sawyer. He just moved here from Ohio. He has the same schedule as you so I'd appreciate if you'd take him so his classes." Kyle eyed Liam. Being in California, most of the boys were hot, but something about Liam made him go crazy. The first thing Kyle noticed about him was his outfit. He was wearing a tight, button down royal blue shirt, with a solid yellow tie and yellow suspenders. His pants were a darker shade of blue and he was wearing a pair of yellow Tom's. To top his outfit off, he was wearing a pair of big, thick yellow glasses that covered a third of his face. Kyle couldn't tell whether they were prescription or he was just wearing them to match his outfit. Either way, Kyle loved it. He'd wear things like that, but he decided he would look weird wearing it. Kyle's thoughts wear interrupted as Liam stuck out a hand and said "Hey," with a voice Kyle thought was sexy. "Hi," Kyle managed to get out. Mrs. Pratchett walked away and let the boys speak in peace. "So you're from Ohio?" Kyle asked. "Yeah." Liam answered. "Me too. I moved here like 3 and a half years ago. What part?" "I lived in a suburb of Toledo. You?" "Cleveland. Come on, let's sit down." Kyle led him to the back corner where he sat and showed him a seat next to him that was empty. "I liked your outfit," Kyle said, kind of bashfully. "Thanks. I spent some time on it." Liam blushed a little bit. Mrs. Pratchett began to teach. Kyle had a hard time concentrating on the trigonometry she was teaching. His eyes were on Liam. He was diligently working, but Kyle swore he returned some of his glances. Finally, the class ended and Kyle was able to look at Liam without being a creeper. "Where are we going next?" Liam asked. "Biology. I have to get my book first so I'm gonna stop at my locker. Hey, where's yours?" "Umm, it's kinda near the front door. I don't know how to describe where it's at. If we pass it, I'll show you." They continued walking as Liam pointed out his locker. "Oh, it looks like my locker is like across from yours," Kyle stated. Liam smiled a little as he watched Kyle open his lock and exchange his geometry book for his biology book. They continued on their way. During the rest of the day, Kyle couldn't stop staring at Liam, and he began to think it was the same for Liam. ------------------------------- Finally, the day was over and Liam never left Kyle's side. Kyle didn't want to put ways with him, so he asked, "Hey do you wanna come over? My parents are at work and won't be home until 8." "Yeah, I'll call my mom." Liam called and began smiling. "She said yeah." "Okay. My house is about a 10 minute walk. Where do you live?" "On Walker Drive. Right where it intersects West 13th." "Oh, I know where that's at. It's like three blocks away from my house." They continued walking and talked about a lot. Their slow pace caused the walk to take almost double the time. When they got to Kyle's house, Kyle directed him into the backdoor, so Bradley wouldn't catch him in a lie. "You have a nice house," Liam said. "Thanks. Wanna see my room?" "Yeah." Liam followed Kyle down the hallway. "It's so big. Like twice the size of my room," Liam said. Kyle sat down at his desk chair and told Liam that he could sit on his bed. They continued to talk about themselves, when Kyle brought up the topic of girlfriends, to see if he was straight or not. Liam frowned and said, "Kyle, I'm umm... I'm-" "Gay?" Kyle interrupted. Liam looked down. "Yes. How did you know?" "I noticed how much you were staring at me!" Kyle started to laugh. Liam's frown widened. "Sorry." Kyle moved to sit on the bed. "You have nothing to be sorry about. I did the same!" he continued laughing. "So does that mean you're-" Kyle interrupted him a second time but this time, not with words. His lips engulfed Liam's while they both moaned loudly. The kiss began to become more passionate and they continued. As Kyle began to feel on Liam's torso, a loud door being shut abruptly scared them and their lips let go for the first time in minutes. "My mom's probably home from work early. Come with me, I'll introduce you." Kyle said. He got left the room as Liam followed. "Hi, mom! What are you doing home from work this early?" Kyle asked. "My boss let me go home early. Who's this?" she asked. "This is Liam, he's new to school." "Hi, Mrs.-" Liam paused. "Craig." "Mrs. Craig," Liam finished. Kyle noticed that he was holding back a laugh. "We'll be in my room," Kyle said and they left. As soon as they started walking, Liam began laugh uncontrollably. When they got back to his bedroom, Kyle asked, "What the fuck is so funny?" Liam stopped long enough to ask, "You're Asian?" Kyle started laughing, too. "Yes." "That's your real mom?" "Yes!" "Hahaha, you do look Asian." "So I've been told." "You'll be my first Asian boyfriend." Liam said with a sexy smile. Kyle liked how he said "boyfriend." "You'll be my first boyfriend." "You've never dated anyone?" "Nope." "That's surprising. Just look at you!" Kyle blushed and kissed him. After having another make-out session, Liam's phone rang. "That's my mom. I have to go." Kyle frowned but accepted the fact Liam couldn't stay here forever. "Okay, bye." He kissed him on the cheek. Kyle sighed and sat on his bed. It was the first time since Kyle laid eyes on Liam that they weren't near each other. ---------------------------- Thanks for reading! Look out for part II!
