Uncle Josh needs us." Jeff said, as they left. They stopped and picked up the boxes with the costumes and put them in the car. When they got to the home, Josh met them, and said, "We have a new arrival, and I don't think he belongs here. We have not processed him in yet. Jeff, can you take him and get him settled, until I can sort this out? It seems that he was abandoned at a truck stop. The police received an anonymous alerting call that he was there. Chief O'Brien brought him here since he didn't know what else to do with him." He took them to a room with a sobbing boy. Jeff lifted the boy's face and said, "Why are you crying?" "I don't want to be here. I want my mommy." the boy sobbed. "I'm Jeff, and this is Beau. We are going to take you and get you a nice bath. We'll stick you in the wash machine and then put you in the dryer and if you come out good, we'll feed you, but we have to know your name, first." Jeff said. My name is Jason Powers." the boy answered. "Uncle Josh, we're out of here. I'll get the entire story for you, and record it." Jeff said. Beau added. "Uncle Josh, maybe you should call Mrs. Rose, and tell her to bring another set of papers, tonight." The guys arrived home, and Jeff sent Beau and Josh to the bathroom. Jeff went into the kitchen. Mickey was helping his mother fix dinner, "Mickey, the twins are six, right? How old is Davey?" "Davey is nine." Mickey answered. Jeff said, "Call his parents, and see if we can come over." Mickey made the call and they went to the Montgomery's back door and Davey was waiting for them. He jumped into Mickey's arms and said, "Hi, Doctor Wilson." "That's not Doctor Wilson, that's his son, Jeff." Mickey said as he put Davey down. "Hi Jeff." Jeff asked, "Is your mother or father available?" "Mommy, Jeff Wilson would like to speak with you." Davey announced. Mrs. Montgomery came into the room. Jeff went to her and shook her hand. "I'm Doctor Wilson's son, and I have a favor to ask? Could we borrow a set of Davey's clothes? It seems a young nine year old landed in our house without any clean clothes." She looked at him funny and said, "Of course." "Mickey, you and Davey go get a change of clothes except for shoes for Jason." Jeff said, as he explained what had happened. The guys came down with the clothes and Mrs. Montgomery put them in a bag. Jeff thanked her and then asked, "Mrs. Montgomery could we borrow Davey tonight, to help us get Jason some new clothes? We'll leave around 7:00 and be back by 8:30." "We're not doing anything tonight." Mrs. Montgomery answered. "It should be fine." "Great, I won't let him roller blade, drink beer or have any cigarettes." Jeff laughed. Davey looked at him and said, "You're even less fun than my parents." "We have to go. I will see you tonight about 7:00." Jeff said, and he and Mickey departed. Mickey took the clothes up stairs and shortly the three guys came down. Jeff had fixed some soup and a grilled cheese sandwich for them. Jeff took Jason and Beau into the dining room and started questioning Jason, as they ate. Beau remained absolutely quiet. When I arrived home, I went to go see what was happening. Jeff looked at me and shook his head no. We were eating when Beau came out and got a glass of milk and some cookies and went back in. Finally, Jeff and the guys came out and he introduced Jason to us, and said, "Okay guys, go brush your teeth, and go to the bathroom." He turned to us and said, "Here is the tape of his story so far. I'm going to take him to get some clothes." Jeff, Beau and Jason left. They stopped and picked up Davey and then picked up Denny. The first stop was the hair salon where they found Ryan and Renee. The two nine year olds went first and then Jeff got a trim and Denny got a styling. When they had paid the bill and left the tips, they went to the Target store and did some basic shopping for enough clothes for the next several days, and then they went to the shoe store and got some loafers and new sport shoes. The next stop was the Dairy Queen. When they finished their snack, they dropped Denny off, and walked him to the door. Jeff introduced the two nine year olds. Denny's parents asked, "Dennis, what happened to you. You look like a movie star." "We'll see you tomorrow. We have to get Davey home." Jeff said. They escorted Davey into the house. Davey announced, "We're home." The Montgomery's came in and looked around. "Where's Davey." "Mommy and Daddy, I'm here. This is Jason and that is Beau. We bought some clothes for Jason and then we went to the Dairy Queen and had a banana split. Come on guys; let me show you my room." "You said you wouldn't let him drink. What did you do to him?" asked Mrs. Montgomery. "I guess he got high on having a good time with Jason, Beau and Denny. They had a great time. We're having a birthday party, rather two birthday parties for five special young men tomorrow, at Mrs. Tillison's house. The first party is a swim party. Why don't you come and then Davey can have some fun with the guys." "Jeff." said Colin. "I already was scheduled to come to the first party. I checked with Mrs. Tillison to get her permission, after I was notified of the party. We'd love to come, since our baby sitter is going to be there." "If it wasn't Grams who alerted you who was it?" Jeff asked. "Mrs.Winston. And I'm not saying anymore." Colin said. "Okay, make sure Davey brings his swim suit. He wouldn't happen to have an extra would he?" Jeff asked. "Yes." answered Colin. "Good, could we borrow it for Jason since we haven't had a chance to buy him one?" Jeff asked. "Sure." answered Mrs. Montgomery. "We really need to get home now." Jeff said." Colin called, "Guys, front and center. What were you doing?" "We were watching some XX rated tapes." said Beau. "Actually, I was reading to the two guys." "What were you reading, Beau?" Colin asked. "Swiss Family Robinson." Beau answered. "Beau is it okay if Mickey reads me some more of it tomorrow night?" Davey asked. "Sure, I'll make sure that I read Jason the same part. Guess we have to go now." Beau said. "It was nice talking with you. I think my guys are getting tired." said Jeff. When the guys came in, Grams, Mrs. Rose, Josh, Ben, Linda and Eric were all sitting there talking. Beau introduced everyone and when Jeff got to Ben, Jason stopped and said, "You look just like my Daddy looked." Jason started to cry. Beau said, "I'm taking Jason to bed. He is really tired." They left. Mrs. Rose said, "Jeff, I hope you aren't going to bring anymore people home soon." "Ma'am, I didn't plan on either of those two guys, but I am not the least bit sorry. It was just the circumstances and the timing." he laughed. Mrs. Rose asked, "Jeff, can you make me a copy of this tape?" "I'll make a copy when the guys get up tomorrow, and give it to you at the party." Jeff said. Mrs. Rose stood and said, "I need to go now, but I'll bring the papers for Jason, to the party so Jack will be his guardian until we can get to the bottom of this matter. See you all tomorrow." Jeff escorted her out. When he came back, Mrs. Tillison said, "Okay Benjamin, spill. I think that you have something that you need to tell us, right?" "Jason could very well be my grandson. The names fit, and the age is about right. When I was in medical school, I met a wonderful lady and we got married. We had been married about six months, when she got pregnant." "It was about that time when I began to realize what I wanted and it wasn't to be with a woman. I loved Ginny, but not like a wife. I played the game until our son Danny was about three months. Ginny and I talked and we agreed that we should call it quits before Danny and I became too attached." "Ginny met her future husband six months later. She and Nick Powers were married right after Danny was a year old. About two months later, they came to me and said, "Nick wants to adopt Danny and change his name legally to Powers." "I kept in touch for a while, and while Nick's job was very good, it required that they move around a lot, and I moved here and we just lost contact with each other." Ben stopped. Mrs. Tillison looked at Josh and asked, "Josh, did you know that Ben had been married and had a son?" "Yes, I think that is why I reacted like I did this afternoon when I saw Jason. There was something about the new arrival that reminded me of Ben, but I couldn't get him to talk to me." Josh said. Beau was standing there in Jeff's robe. "Excuse me for eavesdropping and interrupting, but that's what I came to tell you. When we were brushing our teeth, I was drawn to Jason's eyes in the mirror. They reminded me of someone, but I couldn't quite put my finger on whom." Beau continued, "I was just about asleep when it dawned on me who it was. I want you to look at Uncle Ben and Jason beside each other, and see if you don't agree. Now, I'd better get back. I don't want Jason to wake up alone in a strange environment." Beau turned to leave and the phone started to ring. Beau answered it and said, "Jeff, its Dr. Cornell." Beau went upstairs. "Hi Dr. Cornell ... That's fine, we'll be here." Jeff hung up and said, "Dr. Cornell is on her way over. She has had a chance to recheck Beau's test results. Since I haven't had a chance to tell you what she said earlier, let's just wait and see what she has to say." Eric said, "If Jason's father was killed on active duty in action, then Jason should be receiving some sort of compensation from the government." I could almost see Jeff's and Mrs. T.'s minds working. The doorbell rang, and I went to answer the door. "Hi Cathy, come on in. I think you might know several of the people here." Jeff stood and greeted her, and Mrs. T. said, "Hi Cathy. Jeff introduced her to Eric and Linda and Josh and Ben. "Nice to meet you all. Now, let me get down to the details of my test. When I made my initial evaluation, I came up with a score of 151 which I thought was amazing. After I talked to Jeff this afternoon, I reevaluated the test results and got a different score." "I had a dinner engagement tonight, and when I got home, I went back over the test. I got the same as I had gotten the second time, and Beau has an I.Q. of about 160. When scores get that high, it is very difficult to assign a definite value." "In the thirty years that I have been in this business, I have only encountered one other person with an I. Q. that high. That person was a social misfit and committed suicide. I get the feeling that Beau is not going to be like that at all." She stopped for a minute. "Even though, I only had a short time to visit with him socially, I know he absolutely idolizes Jeff and wants to be like him when he's older. He is very comfortable living here, but he told me that eventually he probably will be living with Uncle Josh and Uncle Ben. He thinks Grams is the coolest. Now I have a better appreciation for why he seems so happy. I really do need to go now, since I am leaving early in the morning for a long weekend in Florida to check on my mother and soak up some sun. I'll return Wednesday evening." Cathy said as she got up. Jeff helped her out and the others all left and Jeff and I just sat there and talked until Mickey came in. We locked up and got ready for bed. We had just climbed into bed, when there was a knock on the door. "Come in Mick." Jeff called out. Mickey asked, "Where's Teddy?" "He's spending the night with Toby." I answered. "Does that mean I get the room to myself?" Mickey asked. "I guess so unless you want Jeff to come in and sleep with you so he can watch you masturbate," I answered. "Forget it. He'd probably get so excited that he would try to coerce me into doing the same thing to him." Mickey said, as he jumped on us. He gave us both a kiss on the mouth and took off. Jeff snuggled close and said, "Good night Dad, I love you." **If you want to read more of this story and other interesting stories, you might like to visit www.tickiestories.us.** Editor's Notes: Wow!
