I trudged out of my room and down the stairs quietly, as I gradually heard the soft sound of the television. Mason sat on the single sofa, wearing nothing but his checkered boxer briefs. His back was turned to me, and I noticed he was holding a beer bottle in his right hand. I headed to the kitchen to get myself some water, hoping that I would be able to come and go unnoticed. I was pouring myself a glass of water when he appeared by the narrow hallway connecting the kitchen to the living room. He looked a bit startled for a second, but relaxed right away as he placed his now empty bottle beside the kitchen sink. I quickly drank my fill, feeling overly conscious of his presence behind me. I was wearing an oversized shirt and a boxer briefs, which made it look like I wasn't wearing anything down there at all. I was about to take off upstairs when he called my name. "Kyle..." I stopped in my tracks. Hearing his voice calling my name sent shivers all over my body as I tried my best to compose myself and turn to him. "How've you been doing?" He sat on a stool by the kitchen island, resting his forearms against the platform with his fingers intertwined. "I'm doing fine, Mason. How are things with you?" I reluctantly sat myself on a stool across from him because I didn't want to be rude. His topless body boasted in all its glory, commanding my attention, even as he was just casually sitting. I forced myself to look him in the eyes. "All good." There was a moment of silence, as I nodded to faze the awkwardness. I couldn't hold his stare so I shifted my attention to my hands. "Heard you got into CU, congrats on that." he said. "Thank you, Mase. I still can't believe it though." I retorted. We were filled with uncomfortable silence once again. I was debating whether I should stand up and head on up first but he interrupted my thoughts. "How are things with Jacob?" Our eyes met. I was dumbfounded for a moment. I remembered not explaining any of the things we left hanging two years ago. He never knew I loved him, and I guess he also assumed that Jacob and I had a thing. "Umm, we're good. We're still friends if that's what you're asking..." His eyebrows creased, like it wasn't what he was expecting to hear. "What do you mean? You broke up with him?" I was fazed by his voice, it deepened into a low baritone even if he was keeping it down. "Jacob and I were never together. He's just a friend. Even back then..." I said, keeping my eyes locked on my hands, as I was afraid of his judgment. He was silent for quite a while. I eventually had to look at him so I could go on and head upstairs, when I found him stretching both his arms into the air, his triceps bulging and flexing. I couldn't stop myself from ogling his well developed pecs that at the moment, seemed so comfortable to lay on. His smooth armpits were covered in thin patches of hair. I was smitten for a second, realizing I was staring too much when he looked at me and smirked. "I-I'm gonna go back to my room now. Good night." I said as I swiftly jumped from the stool and rushed to my room, trying to erase the image of Mason in my mind. I laid on my bed and forced myself back to sleep. I woke up to the soft knocks on the door as Andrew called me from the outside. "Kyle, lunch is almost ready, come on down in a while, okay?" "Alright, Andrew. Give me a moment." I didn't realize it was already so late. I was planning to rise early today, as it is my first day here in New York, but I couldn't sleep well last night because of... things. I took a nice warm bath and fixed myself up in the mirror. We're taking a stroll today so they could help me familiarize myself better with the place. Andrew wanted to go to CU with me, just to hype me up even more and I agreed. I went downstairs and spotted Mason and Ashley cuddled on the sofa while watching TV. I went straight to the kitchen to help Andrew set the table. "Where's uncle Gino?" I asked. "He got called in at work today, Ky. He said he was gonna try to catch up with us in the afternoon if he can. But hey, it'll be more fun without the adults, right?" he laughed. He called the couple from the living room as I sat beside Andrew, and Mason and Ashley sat across from us. Ashley kept half whispering sweet nothings to Mason, as we ate and I occasionally talked to Andrew about school. Mason was staring at me as I talked to his brother, completely ignoring his girlfriend's playful nudges. "Mason, I'm taking Kyle out today, you guys wanna come with?" Mason looked over at Andrew. I must be imagining things because I thought I saw a hint of annoyance in his face. Maybe he woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. "Aww, that's too bad Andy, Mason and I already have plans today. Maybe next time, Kyle?" Ashley said. I nodded and smiled. "Sure, no worries!" Andrew took me on a drive to nowhere in particular. We just wandered off as he told me the ways and shortcuts he wished he knew earlier. We went to Columbia University and my heart raced when the greek styled architectural landmark materialized in front of us. Things haven't completely sunk in to me yet, but I really got accepted into this university! I was filled with excitement as I looked forward to the things in store for me. After visiting the library and talking for minutes on the outside benches, we decided to drive off. We ended up at the Times Square as buildings and skyscrapers with vivid colors came into view. I was overwhelmed by the busy streets and sights that I only got to see in movies and documentaries. We bought ourselves some waffles that had lots of sweet fillings and some other cute stuff we didn't even need. It was about five in the afternoon when we decided to call it a day and went home. We entered the house to the sight of Ashley hugging Mason's topless body on the sofa. Her hand rested on Mason's full chest, as Mason's eyes immediately met mine. I looked away in a snap, trying to give them privacy, but it was also because his stares made me feel something I hadn't felt in such a long time. Andrew tugged me upstairs as he noticed our little interaction, and I couldn't be more thankful to him. We ended up playing PS4 to pass the time when warm tears unsolicitedly fell from my eyes, making me lose grasp of the controller. Andrew paused the game and hastily went to me with worry in his face. "It's okay, Kyle, it's okay. He's not worth it." My chest burned. Overwhelming emotions I didn't know I was suppressing bursted out in one go. I cried and cried, not saying a single word, as Andrew stayed by my side until I calmed down. This was what I was so afraid of. Every feelings about Mason I thought I'd discarded resurfaced in a snap of a moment. "I'm okay now. Thanks Andrew." I snapped out of whatever I was feeling and reminded myself of the reason I came here. I couldn't shake off the lingering feeling of emptiness, but I was so grateful for Andrew for sticking by my side and just playing with me until I forgot all about Mason. We sat along the dinner table as uncle Gino asked about our little stroll. Andrew gobbled on his alfredo pasta as I narrated the things he and I did today. Ashley seemed to have gone home earlier because Mason sat alone on the other side of the table, lacking a certain someone who gobbled him up. "It was quite the sight, actually. It really is different from the pictures. I really felt the rush of excitement when I stepped foot in CU. Also, Andrew bought me a cute keychain from the souvenir shop. The lady said it was for good luck." I said. Uncle Gino laughed then apologized for not being able to tag along. Mason was silent as a mouse across from me, but he kept on looking at me and Andrew every now and then. Andrew seemed to notice too, as he kept on nudging my sides with his elbow and subtly pointed to his brother with his head. I didn't pay him any mind. We finished eating and I stacked the plates and brought them to the kitchen sink. As I was washing them, I felt Andrew from behind me. He rested his chin on my shoulder and hugged me from behind. I was startled and was about to shrug him off when he whispered, "Shush, stay put, I'm trying something."I continued washing the dishes, trying to ignore whatever Andrew was pulling off, until Mason shouted from the living room. "Andrew! Get the fuck in here and help me out with the TV, I think I fucked it up." "Hmmm.. I knew it." Andrew whispered to himself. "What?" I asked him, dispensing the last plate on the organizer and rinsing the suds off my hands. "Nothing." he slyly said. "Andrew!" Mason cried out. "Coming! Jeez gimme a break." I patted my hands dry with the kitchen towel and headed towards the living room to see if I could help with something. Mason wore an exasperated frown, as he stared at the now fully functional TV. I headed up the stairs before I could get caught in whatever was happening. As I slumped on the bed, the fatigue from the long day of walking and roaming around kicked in. It was just around seven and my bedtime wasn't until ten but I was really tired and had nothing better to do so within a few seconds, I was dead asleep. I woke up to yet another parched feeling in my throat. The clock beeped 2:09 AM. I made a mental note to myself to bring a glass of water in the room before I sleep tomorrow night. I headed towards the kitchen in a trance, not entirely sure if I was completely awake yet, when I spotted Mason on the stool slumped face-down on the kitchen island holding an empty beer bottle in his hand. Piles of the same empty bottles were placed on the table, making me question if Mason finished all of them. I could hear Mason's soft snores, so I quickly got myself a drink and went over to him to tap him awake. I stopped myself from getting distracted by his half-naked situation as I gently swayed his shoulders, but he didn't even budge. I tapped on his cheeks a few times, until I decided he wasn't gonna wake up, so against all odds, I tried to lift his arms over my shoulder and guide him towards his room upstairs. His familiar manly musk attacked me the moment I snaked his arm around me. I felt a million different feelings as I tried to lift him off the kitchen stool. My hand rested just above his hip and the other supported his abdomen. His eyes slowly fluttered open. "Kyle?... Kyle, is that you...? Fuuuuck... I missed you so much..." he mumbled in his drunken stupor. My knees were momentarily enfeebled by his words but I was able to compose myself and avoid plopping down on the floor with Mason. "Yes, Mason, it's me. You're drunk. I'm taking you to your room, please stand up for me." I said, looking him in the eyes. He blinked a few times, trying to make sense of what was happening, then he locked his eyes on mine dead on and attempted to lean in for a kiss. I froze in my spot, my eyes widening with shock and my heart drumming insanely fast, but as our lips were just a few inches apart, he fell asleep and lost control, dragging the both of us against the cold hard floor in the kitchen. I was squished by Mason, his unbelievably heavy body planking on top of mine. I tried to shove him away but I soon realized that I couldn't do it without waking him up. I slapped him a few times until he was able to open his eyes again, but I immediately regretted it. Only then did I realize how dangerously close our faces were. I felt suffocated by his firm and meaty chest pressing hard against mine, "M-Mase, I can't breathe..." I said. He adjusted himself so that the back of his forearms supported his body against the floor. He caged my head between his forearms, his soulful eyes inebriating me while I felt his manhood shifting and prodding against my thigh. Everything happened so fast when he leaned in and our lips met, reminding me of the heavenly feeling. He kissed me hard, his eyes tightly shut, as he pressed his mouth hard against mine. His tongue parted my lips and invaded my mouth until it met mine, clashing and fighting for dominance until I gladly surrendered to his control. After a few moments of intense making out, he pulled away and looked at me. He scrutinized my face, as if trying to verify if it was really me he was kissing. "Fuck..." he planted a soft, wet, and lingering kiss on my lips. He kept giving me soft and delicate kisses, cursing after every single one, as I felt his hard raging dick grinding against my thigh. "Fuck... Fuck it." I was so captured by his stares that I forgot how wrong the situation was. I shouldn't be taking advantage of his drunken state, I shouldn't be kissing a guy who has a girlfriend, heck I shouldn't be kissing my fucking cousin. As he leaned in for another kiss, I turned my head sideways, making his lips land on my cheek. "Stop it, Mason... You're drunk." his hand crept up my cheek and tried to turn it back to his direction. "Mason, stop it! You have a girlfriend! I'm your cousin! No matter how you look at it, this isn't right..." a burning feeling flared up my chest as the warm tears started to fall down the side of my face. "I-Ion care... I d-dun give a ---- fuck." he managed to say. He kissed me one last time before falling unconscious over my neck. I stayed in the same position for a while, crying my eyeballs out until I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I panicked and tried to shove Mason off of me, but he was really just too heavy. Andrew lifted Mason off and sat him on the sofa in the living room. He then approached my still laying body on the floor. "Kyle! Are you okay? What happened?" he asked, apparently worried. "Mason got really drunk and I tried to carry him to his room, but my legs... gave out." I said. He hung my hand around his shoulders for support as he slowly guided me up the stairs and into my bed. He draped the white duvet over my feeble body. "Get some rest, I'll take care of Mason." I looked at his direction as his stifled footsteps and the slow creaking of the door lulled me to sleep. --------------------- I want to let you guys know that a lot of my inspiration in writing this comes from your feedback. I adopted a lot of wonderful and creative suggestions sent by some of the readers, and I think it made my former script a whole lot better.
