22 - Palm Springs Family - Apart Tuesday Steve

Day 11

2nd Tuesday Together

IN A HOUSE EAST OF LA

Steve wakes up before Corey does, and is just lying beside him staring at how handsome and sexy Corey is. He's still sleeping but has a beautiful peaceful smile on his face. Steve is emotional just lying here with Corey. He leans forward just enough to inhale deeply and enjoy his masculine scent.

This trip has also made him begin to admit a few other things too...

Things in his life feel more 'normal' than they have since he lost his family. He's beginning to honestly cherish his new life, instead of just being traumatized by the past.

It's even making him realize that he's bored and really wants to find some things to do other than hang out naked all day... even things other than sex... and most importantly of all, some of the hopes he has for his and Luke's life beyond just being adopted and loved. Laughing, Steve says, "Trust me. Finally Steve answers, "Yes. They know, and in fact I imagine they've been doing the same thing since we left yesterday morning. And that's OK too! NO, honestly, it's not just `ok', it's great.

"My soulmate, Luke, and I have... uh... discovered that we really love Corey and Michael, Corey's boyfriend. We've been... uhhh... trying to figure out how we can love them this much and still love each other more than ever.

"Luke and I know for some reason we really want this to work out, even though we never thought we would ever `share' each other like this. This isn't the first time with Corey and me, or with Luke and Michael, although it's the first time we haven't been in the same house as them when it happened... and most of the time in the same bed.

"We've all promised to talk about everything that we do with each other when we get back... Does that make any sense?" he says, looking at Corey like he wants him to explain it better.

Corey says, "Yeah, last night before we invited you over, we sent them the picture you sent us and explained that we met you yesterday and you live in PS. We didn't want it to look like we were trying to be dishonest. We assured them it was just to visit and hang out and sightsee."

Chuckling, Corey continues, "Luke, Steve's amazing boyfriend, doesn't beat around the bush much. He asked if we wanted to have sex with you... and we said we had no idea if you were even interested, so Luke offered to call you and ask!" which gets almost howls of laughter from the other two. Good thing they're sitting outside and mostly away from others.

Chris can't resist a big smile and says, "If you'll give me Luke's phone number, I can call him and assure him we do... and ask his permission. How's that?" with a big cheeky grin, which gets worried nervous laughs from Corey and Steve.

Corey debates whether to say this or not, but eventually laughs and says, "Let's keep that as a backup plan... (laughing) Luke and Michael both said we can do what we want with you, including that, assuming you're interested, IF you're somebody we care enough about to become really good friends with. I certainly think that's true. Steve?"

Steve, with a big smile, says, "Yeah, I think so too, but we are not trying to persuade you to do... anything... we just wanted to clear things up about our boyfriends."

Chris and Chad look at each other and Chad says, "We talked about you guys last night too... a lot actually. You're the reason we decided to stay in LA for at least last night. We're hoping we can at least hang out and sightsee some, but we don't want to do anything to cause any problems between you guys... any of you guys. But, yeah, we'd both really like to get to know you better... A lot better... All of you."

Corey fesses up, "Guys, I apologize for not asking you to stay here last night. I wanted to, but... (sigh) honestly, we're all still new at this boyfriend sharing thing, and we really haven't figured out our... uhh... limits yet. We couldn't figure out how to invite you and then say `no sex', if you happened to be interested, and we couldn't invite you and have anything happen without checking with our other boyfriends first. Damn this is hard," which gets laughs...

Chris and Chad have their own issues being in a relationship with each other too, so they know how hard it is.

That causes Steve to pull out his phone and pull up pictures of Luke on the screen. They have a good time going thru the pictures, with Chris and Chad both noting how hot Luke is, and what a contrast he is to Steve. There are a few pictures of Daniel, Diego and some of the other brothers. Steve apologizes because he doesn't have a picture of Michael on his phone yet.

He thinks about it, but decides not to say that it's hard to catch him and all his brothers when they're not naked.

Finishing their breakfast, they start walking back to the house. The sidewalk isn't wide enough to walk four-abreast, and Steve ends up walking with Chad, and Corey with Chris, all with hands on backs or arms on shoulders. They're all comfortable and enjoy each other's company a lot.

Once they get back they start going over their list of things to do, and the four of them end up playing tourist in LA for the entire day.

Chad brings up Universal Studios and says he'd like to do that. Corey looks at Steve and starts to say something, but Steve speaks up, "Corey... what do you think? I know I didn't want to do that because of my brothers not being here, but if we take them next time they're here, I think that would be ok... don't you?" looking pleadingly at Corey, who chuckles, and says,

"Honestly Steve, I don't think they'll even care. They won't even get out of the pool or put on clothes unless they have to, so I don't think you should feel guilty in the least," which gets confused looks from Chris and Chad, who eventually ask what he means about putting on clothes.

Corey says, "Ohh... Yeah, pretty much all 14 of us are naked almost all the time... certainly in the pool, but honestly, I don't think any of the boys have gotten dressed at all unless they had to leave the house... the dads either... all four of them. So, yeah, pretty much naked all the time... uh... is that a problem?"

Chad says, "Not if you invite us over too," laughing.

Corey, laughing hard, says, "I think that can be arranged. How uhhh... would your parents feel about that?"

Chad looks at Chris who hesitates a bit then offers, "They won't care. They wish there wasn't the age difference, but they support both of us totally. They certainly know we're gay and having sex with each other, so I don't think it would be a problem."

Chris picks his words carefully... since they haven't exactly told Steve and Corey the truth about them and their family yet, including them all being naked a lot too.

For Steve it's hard to not have flashbacks to their day with their dads and Michael at the Amusement Park.

Steve is really impressed with the Studio Tour and some of the special effects. He really enjoys seeing some of the backlot sets that have been featured in hundreds of movies, a few of which Steve has actually seen.

Possibly his favorite is a tour of their Hollywood Prop Warehouse, including a pretty large model of "ET", which he and Luke saw at the group home on DVD. They both cried, but they weren't the only ones.

He especially loves the dinosaur exhibits and rides. The rides are fun but nothing special... mostly you sit in a car that moves in front of various screens that make it seem like you're flying over the castle, or somewhere else... and one of the dinosaur rides in particular was very wet... they all end up basically soaked.

They all enjoy "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" area and rides, although none of them much liked the 'Butterbeer', they all thought it was way too sweet.

Universal Studios takes a lot of time, and after they're done they don't think they're up for more sightseeing.

So when they get home, they order two large pizzas so everybody can get what they want.

"We've each been with them about six years... and Michael and I... and Steve... only met... a week ago yesterday... when Steve, Luke and their two brothers got back to Palm Springs with their dads and Michael. Ken was the pilot on the plane that brought them back," omitting the detail that it was a private plane, as that might seem a little pretentious and is an unnecessary detail.

They all laugh pretty good at the unlikeliness of all that happening.

Chris volunteers, "We haven't done anything with anybody else since we were tested... we rarely do, actually... You guys, if we do anything, will be the first people we've done anything with in... a while... other than me and Chad's two dads... Chad?"

Who says, "Yeah, that's right... We visited a couple friends and played with them some, a couple months ago... but they had been tested too. But, I think we have some condoms if anybody wants them."

He explains that Steve had just set up all the new phones and computers for his brothers, but Steve takes exception and points out that it would have taken him a lot longer had Corey not known how to do that and helped.

Chris volunteers, "Steve, I used to work as a System's Engineer, and then later as a software developer... I did contract work remotely from home. I think you could really do well if you ever want to pursue computers as a career... I know you have a few years yet to decide," which gets a little chuckle from Corey and Steve.

Chris continues, "I'll help you in any way I can if you ever want to do that," for which Steve thanks him sincerely, and it makes Corey even happier that they met them, especially after his and Steve's discussion about computers and college.
