28 - Palm Springs Family - Confession Is Hard

Luke and Steve weren't very careful kissing Corey, Michael and Chris while Javier and Matteo were over to talk about Spanish tutoring. That has lead to an uncomfortable explanation between them about what's going on. The dads all recognize that it might lead to serious problem... but they're hoping for the best. They all like Javier and Matteo a lot, and think they can trust them with the truth... they hope.

There are two families at the heart of this story:
- Alex, Kevin, Michael + Luke, Steve, Daniel and Diego who met 16 days ago, and got back to Palm Springs 13 days ago
- Captain Ken, Jared, Corey + Nick, Sam, Kurt, Aiden who were adopted several months earlier; Captain Ken was the pilot on the chartered plane that brought the boys back to Palm Springs. They're moving to Palm Springs, and will live next door.
- Javier(23) and Matteo(22)
The boys are listed oldest to youngest, but all are currently twelve. Luke, Nick and Steve will be the first three to turn 13... in the upcoming months.
Others will up show occasionally, but not be a major part of the story, like...
- J+J and their boys, who live behind Alex, Kevin and Michael, and
- Jorge(35), Richard(34), Chris(24) + Chad(16), José (12), Trevor(12) and their families, who are moving nearby...

Sunday Day 16
Javier and Matteo
Fallout
Alex uses his alone time in the office and calls Javier after breakfast, in case he's working later or in school... although he doesn't know if he's still in school, just that he's still working on his degree.
They never got around to asking what Matteo's background and education are. They met him as a car salesman, but they know a lot of people have to have more than one job to get by.
Javier answers and they have a nice conversation.
Alex starts with, "Javier, the boys really enjoyed seeing you both again last night, and us old farts really enjoyed meeting you. Almost all the boys are interested in Spanish and are really excited, but I suspect a couple will start and then drop out as soon as it gets to be hard work, but that's fine.
"We originally brought this up to Diego and Daniel, because we want to be sure they can keep up with their Spanish... and their heritage... We know we're not the best to help them with that, and are really hoping it's something you, or you and Matteo, are willing to help them with... and any of the other boys that are interested too, of course. We don't know Matteo's background or if he's interested or not, but we hope he is."
Javier says, "Mr. Jackson, we've never met parents who want to help their kids so much. It seems... stupid to say this after all those boys lost their parents, but those boys are all amazing and very lucky. We'd love to help you any way we can. We didn't mention it last night, but Matteo just finished his teaching credentials. He already had the job at the Volvo dealership so he's doing that for now, but we both eventually want to be a full time teachers. His training includes math and science. I'm getting my certification in a couple things, including Spanish and English as a Second Language (ESL) and History. I hope to get established teaching Spanish and English."
Alex says, "Javier, please call me Alex. As you can tell, we're not very formal people, although we sincerely apologize. We never should have gotten naked after inviting you both over. That was a little too much. I think we're letting the boys opinion on skinny dipping influence us, and we apologize," hoping they aren't upset.
Javier laughing says, "Thanks Alex but that's no problem... at all, trust us. We had a great time. We were both surprised the boys were quite that willing to do that, especially with strangers, but honestly we thought they all have a great attitude about stuff like that. We both had a blast. I wish we'd had a chance to do things like that as kids. No apology is needed, trust me," which does make Alex feel a little better.
They chat for a while and Alex finally gets around to why he called, "Javier like I said, we really hope you, or ideally both of you, are willing to work with the boys. We'd like for you to propose how you'd like to do this. We don't know your schedule or how much time you have for doing it. We're pretty sure the boys will have more time this summer than once school starts, so we were wondering if maybe doing a pretty intensive schedule this summer would help them get excited," trying to get a feel for what Javier is thinking.
After thinking for a bit Javier says, "I agree. The biggest challenge with English As a Second Language is really trying to get people to actually speak English. Of course that's pretty easy in this country, since pretty much everybody speaks English.
"The next biggest problem is that everybody is always afraid of saying something wrong, so nobody wants to say anything. Kids and young people actually do way better than adults. Young people aren't as afraid of making mistakes... so, I really want to encourage them to... just talk. It's going to be a little more challenging to get the boys to use their Spanish.
"What you did last night, with the Spanish flash cards and encouraging the boys to actually speak Spanish... that's the best thing to do, thank you for doing that. Diego and Daniel certainly can help, but they hinted that they've gotten nasty comments from people when they speak Spanish in public."
Alex kinda dejectedly says, "Yeah, we've seen assholes do that to people. We don't get it. We had some asshole that we actually knew bitch at us for speaking German with a friend of ours who was just visiting... as a tourist."
Javier concurs, "Yeah, we don't get it either. It's certainly not like Diego and Daniel speaking Spanish is going to hurt anybody, but... these other guys are amazingly lucky that they have brothers who already speak very good Spanish.
"One thing Matteo and I talked about though is asking Daniel and Diego... and... José(?) to help the other guys by speaking Spanish with them whenever possible... and especially trying to get them to use the vocabulary as much as possible when we introduce new words or phrases. Exactly what you said last night."
He wouldn't normally propose that with many families, but he knows the level of support here is amazing and it would really help the boys.
Alex picks up on the name uncertainty and says, "Yes, José. He's Richard's and Jorge's son. And we agree with that. The four dads in this house talked about that last night. It would also really help us old farts who want to greatly improve our Spanish. Ken wants to learn Spanish to help with his job as an airline pilot... so it would be great to get all of us used to hearing Spanish.
Alex continues, "I know the biggest problem we still have in German is that our ears... and brains aren't as trained as they are in English. When we hear words in German, we have to really concentrate to figure out what the word is. I don't mean, what it means. I mean, just hearing and understanding the words in German aren't nearly as automatic for us as they are in English.
"If we can clearly hear and understand the words in German, we almost never have a problem with knowing what it means... and we never actually translate anything in our heads," waiting to see what Javier says.
Javier says excitedly, "Wow, that's exactly what I was thinking. Yes, you're absolutely right. Learning to actually hear the words clearly is the biggest problem people have with learning a language, especially in Spanish since it's a pretty fast language anyway, like Kevin said last night. I agree completely.
"With the native language that we learn as kids, it's completely automatic. The brain just learns all those sounds. But with a second language, it's not automatic at all... and the older someone is when they learn, the harder it is to do that. We all really have to work at it. It will really help if the boys will use all the words they learn in Spanish... with you dads and with each other. It will make the process much, much easier and more automatic. I think that's a great idea," very glad Alex is really onboard with this.
Alex wants to add, "And what you both did last night with your Spanish lesson... that was amazing. It's the same type of technique that we had in German... and two months of Spanish. We talked to the guys last night and they all loved it. We all really appreciate you doing that."
Javier chuckles a bit and says, "You know... that wasn't planned... I felt sorry for not warning Matteo (gets a chuckle). We were all sitting around and having a great time and I thought I'd try it, just to see what the reaction from the boys was. And I have to tell you, they were great. They really picked up on what we were trying to do. Aiden didn't hesitate at all, which was great."
Alex laughs a bit and says, after a little debate with himself, "Uhhh... yeah, he and the twins have gotten pretty close..." deciding to leave it at that.
Javier laughs out loud and says, "Yeah... we noticed. We think it's great that they're that comfortable with each other."
Alex really likes Javier and Matteo, and would love to get to know them better, not necessarily sexually, but as friends, "Javier, Diego explained last night you said you liked skinny dipping, but don't have a private pool. We really would like you guys to feel free to come over and hang out anytime you can, if you want to... but we're not trying to be creepy with you about that. We know hanging out with a bunch of 12-year olds probably isn't your idea of fun. And, we also don't want it to look like we're trying to get free tutoring. We really insist on paying you both for your time... if Matteo is interested."
Javier is a little taken aback by that, but appreciates the offer. He says, "Thank you Alex. We actually talked about that last night... and would like to get to know all of you guys better too, but we don't want to come across as... creepy or something either.
"Those guys are all a lot of fun, and we'd love to... as long as you're sure that's ok. We were a little embarrassed at our... reaction... to being around the boys... and adults... with everybody nude... I would say 'if you know what I mean', but thanks to Luke pointing it out... I'm pretty sure you do," waiting nervously to see what Alex says.
What Alex does is laugh.
When he can speak, "Javier... we get it. We still do that occasionally too, and trust me... nothing will ever happen between us and those boys. They're all right at that age where they're seriously turning into little horn dogs, but they are ALL really great guys.
"As gay parents, we're not going to get too hung up over a few boners by the pool. We hope that's ok and doesn't seem weird and creepy... either," and they both kinda laugh.
After a few moments, Javier explains, "Alex, Matteo and I talked a lot last night. Even though we were both from large families, neither of us actually had younger brothers. We each had one older brother and a sister or two, but we both said last night how much we really enjoyed those guys. It's something we wish we could do more, so we'd love to... but we don't want it to be a problem either."
Alex says, "Guys, it's not a problem. These boys pretty much don't know anybody here other than each other, and we'd love it if you guys have any interest in spending any time with them... but again, not as free tutors, guys. They all think you're both adorable and we're counting on that to spur their interest in learning Spanish. We're not trying to get you to do this for free... please believe us."
Javier is happy to hear that, "Alex trust us... it's not a problem. How about this, I... or we... will come up with a few simple lessons, and maybe we can all sit down and talk with you guys and the boys and see what everybody thinks. I really would like it to be largely verbal... giving them a little new vocabulary to learn each time, and then we'll spend time reinforcing that. I think we can quickly get to the point that we can use a lot of Spanish... just talking to each other.
"If we make this too much like school, they're going to lose interest pretty quickly. And, you were also right about the pool being a good place to practice... we had a great time in the pool. Lots of their brothers were asking how to say things in Spanish, and we mostly let Daniel, Diego and José answer them... they seemed to really appreciate it."
Alex chuckles, "Javier, that would be great. I think if we can be creative we can find lots of ways for them to practice. I know Luke and Steve both were much more enthusiastic about Spanish after their trips to Cardenas... they honestly were surprised that a lot of people here haven't had a chance to learn English. It apparently made both of them realize how good it would be to speak Spanish. Steve was actually in LA for three nights last week with Corey. He found the same thing. He discovered it would have been great if he spoke Spanish a couple times," says Alex.
Javier is conflicted about whether to mention that or not, but decides to be honest and up front with Alex, "The boys mentioned Steve had gone with Corey to LA. Please don't hate me for saying this Alex, but Luke is way more mature than any twelve-year old I've ever met if he let his boyfriend go with Corey... or me too, when I was twelve... hell, maybe even now," which causes Alex to almost choke.
Alex is at a loss for what to say so he stutters, "Yeah, those four have a... complicated relationship. We were worried about it at first, but we're trying to give them space to work everything out. It seems to be going ok."
Javier is totally confused, so he just says, "I really like Steve and Luke... and Michael and Corey. I really hope they can figure it out. It would be a real shame to see Luke and Steve break up over something like that. Those two obviously love each other a lot."
Alex really doesn't want to get into this, but after seconds of thought says, "Javier, we do all really like you guys. We're trying to thread the needle here with the boys. We promised the guys we wouldn't treat them like kids, but... you know what... We also told the boys we'll never lie to them, and it's not fair to lie to you or Matteo either.
"Javier, I need to be honest... we're gay dads, and we have both promised ourselves that these boys are not going to have to hide or sneak around... to... explore what it means for them to be gay. We're trying really hard to give them the freedom to... explore their feelings, and their attractions... and their sexuality... and we know that telling you that could get all of us in really big trouble... I hope you'll understand... and not be freaked out by what I'm trying to say."
Alex stammers a bit and continues, "Javier, the truth is, Steve is... absolutely sure that he loves Corey, and Luke is just as sure that he loves Michael. But, neither of them are ever going to give up each other. I totally believe them when they say that. They've both honestly decided that they can love Michael and Corey, and that it doesn't make them love each other any less. In fact, they've said many times it makes them love each other even more."
Continuing but not entirely sure where he's headed, "Javier, I know this makes no sense. I would ask this... if you're both not totally freaked out over this, next time you're over, I would encourage you both to talk to the four of them and see what you think. But, I assure you... there is no arguing or jealousy at all between any of them. They honestly love each other... I totally believe that.
"You can ask them to explain how all this happened. I promise, you'll both get a huge kick out of it... and probably a boner... or two. But, I really hope this doesn't make you both run for the hills," he says with a little hopeful laugh.
Javier is totally unprepared for what to say, so he points out, "You know, that makes sense now. We both mentioned last night how... uh... close Steve is with Corey, and Luke is with Michael. We saw the four of them... kiss a couple of times.
"Except for the age difference, I honestly thought Luke and Michael were boyfriends the first day we met at the restaurant. They do... all four... seem to be really close, and it was amazing... one minute Steve and Luke would kiss each other, then one of them would kiss one of the others a little later... Nobody seemed upset at all.
"And Alex, I'm not freaked out at all, as you said... but, yeah, if you and they don't mind, maybe we can just chat for a bit. But Alex, it's completely clear to Matteo and I both that these boys are totally happy and love all you guys... and nobody is hurting them... we both totally believe that. But, if we can chat a bit... that would be great," happy to have nothing else to say at the moment.
Alex is still a little worried, "Javier, I promise you, nobody is hurting or abusing any of these boys. We both really wanted to tell them that this wasn't a good idea... and we did actually, several times, but we just can't make ourselves tell them they shouldn't feel what they are feeling. And we've all been incredibly proud of how they worked thru all their feelings about this.
"I think the boys can explain what they're feeling... better than I can. If you want to talk to Matteo... to be sure you're both ok with everything, we understand," totally expecting to never hear from them again.
Javier really isn't freaked out, but he's not sure what's going on, so he says, "I appreciate you being honest, but neither of us are freaked out. I do think it would be great to chat with the boys a little, if that's ok... uhhh... when would you like to do that?"
Alex thinks they should do this quickly, before Javier and Matteo really do freak out. He says, "How about... come over today or tomorrow... whenever. The boys are already in the pool, and we'll do lunch or dinner. If you're not tired of all of us," he says again, hoping they're not.
Javier laughs pretty good and says, "We're more worried you're tired of us... or soon will be. You said hanging out with twelve-year olds isn't our idea of fun... but we're both surprised at how much we enjoyed ourselves last night. Matteo had to go in today, Sunday is a big car shopping day, so it'll be probably close to 2:30PM before we can get there, if you're sure it's ok."
Alex says relieved, "That's perfect. If you can, please plan on staying for dinner. It won't be anything special, and feeding all these boys is something we're still getting used to, so trust us, two more isn't any problem. So, you have the gate code, just come over when you can.
"And please... feel free to speak Spanish anytime you can, with us adults and the guys, and we really mean that. It's going to be embarrassing, especially for Kevin and I, who don't remember even the little bit of Spanish we've supposedly learned, but it's not going to get better without a lot of work...
"And guys, thank you so much... we're really very glad some of the guys met you, although I have to tell you... they all said how sexy you are, and Luke and Steve both drooled over poor Matteo... a LOT... after meeting him at the car dealer, so you've been warned," laughing a little louder than he intended, which causes Javier to laugh just as loud.
A little afraid to say it, "Alex, I'll tell you the truth. It's mostly drooling over the adults that keeps giving us erections... so, I guess we're all even. Please don't hate us," chuckling a little.
Alex says, "It's not a problem Javier, trust me. And yeah, we love Palm Springs too. (big laugh from both) So, we'll see you when you get here... no bathing suit required, unless you're worried about the boys... or the adults," which does get a great laugh from Javier.
Alex wants to ask this but is worried about bringing it up, "Javier, you said something that I was wondering about. If it's too personal, please just say so - I'm not trying to intrude, but we really like you guys... You said you both "WERE" from large families... may I ask why you said, 'were' instead of 'are'?"
Javier doesn't say anything immediately, which makes Alex think he said something wrong.
Just as Alex starts to apologize, Javier, a little choked up, says, "Alex, when our families found out that we're gay... and boyfriends, they disowned us. We were already in college, barely, but they told us pretty clearly to get out and never come back. It's one reason it's taken us longer to finish college... our parents made it clear that they never wanted to see us again. Both of our older brothers want nothing to do with us either, and told us to never come back home."
Alex hesitates and then says, "Damn, I don't get how parents and family can do that. I'm so, so sorry Javier, I can't even imagine how that felt for both of you. I promise you, we really like both of you and really hope we can all become great friends. I know we can never make up for what happened with your families, but guys I promise you... we'll help you in any way we can," not quite sure what else to say.
Javier says a little teary, "Alex, thank you. That's very nice of you... We both see why all those boys love you guys as much as they do. Yeah, it was a difficult time, but that was a couple years ago. We're pretty much over it... and them, but it certainly hurt... more than anything ever had. We said last night that your boys... all of those boys, are very, very lucky to have you guys as dads... So, we'll come over after Matteo gets home... if you're sure it's ok."
Alex, "Absolutely it's ok... or to quote Luke, 'Yep, it's great'. And just so you know, I'm not going to mention what happened with your parents, to the boys, but I would encourage you guys to do that if you're comfortable with it. I know the boys will certainly understand, but it's totally up to you. So we'll see you when you get here. Give Matteo a big hug for us when you see him!" and the conversation ends.
Javier puts the phone down and just sits thinking about how lucky those boys are... knowing they'll never be disowned for being gay, with tears running down his face.

Alex goes out to find all the others and explains to the other dads and boys that Javier and Matteo (J+M) are coming over later for the pool and dinner. Everybody is excited and a few are especially excited.
He eventually gets the foursome together and explains that J+M had noticed how 'close' the four were, and that he had suggested they all talk about it a little, which causes them all to be very embarrassed, and they don't really want to try to explain, but figure since they saw them kissing, they have no choice.
Luke, however, has no idea how they're going to explain, "Uhhh... dads. How can we explain that? It's not going to be easy. And we're not supposed to... uhh... tell other people too much about... well, you know," which of course Alex had already thought about... He doesn't have an answer, but he had thought about it. Well damn.
Dad Kevin has a lot of mixed feelings about this, but says anyway, "Uhhh... Guys? I've kinda sorta started turning some of my notes about... us... into a story. The couple chapters including 'THE KISS' are... not complete, but at least written to a point where they kinda make sense... if you're interested, you can read them and maybe let Javier and Matteo read them... it'll at least give them an idea of how it all happened," looking at the boys who are about to panic.
Luke, Steve, Michael and Corey all look at each other... not without blushing like ripe tomatoes. None of them know what's written... especially about sex, although they don't really see how they could know too much... they hope.
True to form Luke says, "Yep, I'd like to read it. When can we start?" which makes the other three very nervous.
Dad Kevin reaches beside him, takes out his iPad, does a few things on the screen and then hands it to Luke. He asks the others to bring their iPads to him and he'll do the same for them. Kevin tells him where to start reading for 'THE KISS'... (although that chapter name gets changed eventually).
Luke starts reading silently... a few times he laughs, and gasps, and there was at least one 'damn'... Kevin isn't sure whether it's good or bad, but decides to get away and let them read in peace... but mostly he can't take the anxiety over worrying about what he/they are thinking as they read.
About then the others come back with their own iPads, including Luke's which is brought by Steve. Kevin gets the story on all their devices... worrying that he's really, really going to regret admitting that he's doing this. Luke takes his iPad and gives dad Kevin his back... and goes back to reading.
As Kevin is leaving the room and looks back, he sees four faces in deep concentration. Alex corners him and asks what he's written... and isn't all too sure it's a good thing.
Kevin hands him his iPad and explains that he has no idea if the story will ever be finished, but that he wanted to at least keep good notes in case he ever did write their story. He explains that the sex is a combination of what they've heard, what the four have said, and a little educated guessing...
At some point, well over an hour later, the four come out. There are some pretty red eyes in the group. They all go over to dad Kevin and all hug him tightly... starting with Luke.
Luke wipes his eyes and says, "Dad, I love you so much. I can't believe you care about us enough to write this... it's really good, and I'm glad you did. I've already kinda forgotten about some of this stuff. But, uhhh... dad, what about the sex? You guys said we should be careful who we tell. Isn't that going to be a problem?"
Dad Alex had thought about that... some more, and says, "Guys, I think you're going to have to be honest with Javier and Matteo. I think they can be trusted, but I think you should ask them about that before letting them read anything. It's not a great solution, but it's the best I've come up with. What do you think?"
Something occurs to Corey who says, "Guys, this also makes it pretty clear that Michael and I are in a relationship with each other... and you four 'dads'... and Steve and Luke. How do we explain that?" Although he's looking pretty pale and like he's ready to throw up.
Dad Alex again says, "Yeah, I haven't finished reading yet, but it does make that perfectly clear. It's up to you guys, but honestly I don't have any other idea. I need to stop promising not to lie to people... (which gets a nervous ironic laugh) but I kinda told Javier we would be honest with them about this... So, whatever you guys think," being glad he doesn't personally have to decide. And hoping they don't all end up in prison because of his promise to be honest. Damn this is hard.
He's scared shitless to let anybody outside the family know what's going on with the four, but he does trust Javier and Matteo... to a point.
After looking at each other for a while, they reluctantly agree that they don't have a better solution.

The Very Awkward Afternoon
Javier and Matteo are coming to... well, who knows? They will eventually have dinner, if they don't run away first, but what happens until then is anybody's guess.
Lunch is finished and all the boys help clean up a bit, since Javier and Matteo are coming back... and they're all excited, and a few are already a little chubby. The 'foursome' are all nervous as hell, wondering what they will say and how J+M will react, but it's their own damn fault... and now the consequences.
Somewhere in the backs of their cluttered minds, they're also sure that this will eventually be a chapter in whatever's being written... and nobody knows for sure how they feel about that either.
Damn this is hard.
Then they all hear the damned driveway sensor. Fuck!
They all look at each other, trying to decide whether to run out the front door to meet them... or out the back door and never come back.
Dad Kevin sees their faces and knows they're all panicked. He walks over to where they are huddled, places his hands gently on Luke and Steve's backs and says lovingly,
"Guys, don't panic. You know you like these guys a lot, and you know they like you a lot. So, just be honest... Ask them how they're feeling about everything at the moment and go from there. Offer a little bit of explanation about how it happened, and then, if you want, tell them about the beginnings of this story and offer to let them read it. I do think it's a good idea if you ask them to keep anything you tell them private. What do you think?"
Nobody having a better solution, Luke says, "Yep, I guess so," although he certainly doesn't look sure.
They do decide to follow the other boys out to greet them, although unlike some of the others, the four keep their clothes on... in case they have to make a quick getaway.
Damn this is hard.
As they walk out the door they see Javier and Matteo being hugged by a couple naked boys... At least they didn't' run away... yet.
They walk up to the car already scared and embarrassed, which Javier and Matteo apparently can see just by looking at them. As they walk up they hear Spanish going on. Diego and Daniel are there, along with José, who was dropped off earlier.
They are doing everything they can to say simple things, like bueno (good), buenas tardes (good afternoon) and things the boys can understand and repeat... in English and Spanish. So far the boys think it's almost like a game and are all excited to see how many words they can learn.
J+M walk up and greet the four in Spanish and hug the four very tight, just like everybody else. With enough English words thrown in with a little Spanish, they all manage to say hello to each other.
Luke and Steve immediately think they didn't know learning Spanish was going to be this hard, but they really enjoy the hugs, and both are glad they aren't naked, although they both think they're being poked by something. They also notice that J+M hug Michael and Corey a little tighter and longer than they hug them. Damn It.
The four dads walk up and they get greeted, in Spanish/English, and hugged pretty good too. Kevin and Alex fumble their Spanish a bit, they don't remember all that much, and they haven't used it much in a couple years, but they make it thru.
J+M had already decided they were going to loosen up a bit with everybody. It's obvious all these people like them, and they certainly like these families. And honestly, they miss their own ex-families... and they're lonely and wouldn't mind having... a family again... although they think that probably won't happen.
Alex especially has made it seem like they all want to be friends with them, and they want that too... especially now that at least Alex knows how things went with their own families.
In some ways they've kinda decided that if their own family won't accept them, and these guys will... then fuck their own families. They decided after they kicked them out that they didn't need them, and this family seems to like them just fine... just like they are.
In fact, when hugging Alex, Javier leans forward and kisses him on the cheek and tells him, "Alex, thank you so much for everything you said. We really appreciate it, and we'd like nothing more than to be great friends with all of you guys," which makes Alex hug them both tighter... and he even kisses each quickly on the cheek and thanks them. There are red eyes.
None of which is missed by any of the guys present... boys, dads or boyfriends, who all find it exciting... but confusing.
Alex says loud enough for everybody nearby to hear, "Guys, we all really think a lot of you, and are very glad some of the guys met you, and you're welcome here any time and we all mean it... We just hope you'll give us a chance. We're not exactly a conventional family," which causes everybody to laugh... nervously.
Immediately after that J+M are dragged into the house by some of the boys, apparently wanting to get the show on the road, whatever that means. All of the other boys were told they're coming back to discuss some things, but they weren't given many details.
They all get inside and the boys immediately point out that at least some of them are naked and that it's perfectly ok if J+M want to get naked too, which causes them to laugh...
But they'd already decided, so they just stand where they are thinking about it for a few seconds, but the boys aren't having it... they start chanting "STRIP... STRIP... STRIP"... so they decide to give the boys a little show... and hope like hell they don't get kicked out. They look over at the dads with a "can we" face, and of course the dads smile and nod 'yes'... pretty enthusiastically.
Matteo walks up to Javier and starts lifting off his shirt... slowly over his head. When it's off he takes it and lays it on a nearby chair. Javier does the same to Matteo, even leaning in to kiss him quickly on the lips.
They're both wearing sandals, so they just toe those off and kick them aside.
They move on to their shorts... Matteo walks up to Javier and wants to undo his shorts, but afraid the dads will kill them... he looks over somewhat scared, the dads just smile and nod... so looking pretty affectionately at each other, he reaches out trembling and takes hold of the belt buckle... and slowly undoes it and removes it from the shorts... and drops it on the shirt.
This gets the boys attention, although it's not as new as the first time they saw this happen... but it takes away none of the excitement... and it doesn't deflate any... expectations either.
Javier then does the exact same thing to Matteo.
Once that's done, they don't take too much time to get the shorts and underwear off... they really wanted to make it very sexy, but were way too afraid to do that. From what they've seen they certainly don't think the dads are against a little teasing, but they certainly don't know them very well at all.
They both look at each other more than a little frightened... after all, they're standing in the house of at least three men they barely know, getting naked in front of their pre-teen sons. Damn.
But, they do it anyway. They so, so slowly hook their fingers under their underwear waist and slowly lower them... until they're standing there completely naked.
They boys actually cheer when they see their fairly impressive uncut dicks, even though they saw them yesterday... which look absolutely perfect against their amazing bronze skin. Pretty much all the boys want to go over and play with them... but are afraid to.
Truth be told, Javier and Matteo want that too, but they'll never admit it... barely to themselves, but sure as hell not to each other or anybody else.
When they're completely naked they just lift their arms to the side, which causes a few to almost pass out, and Javier says happily, "¿Cómo es eso?", which causes the non-Spanish speaking boys to look puzzled...
Javier nods to Daniel, Diego and José, who translate, "Como es eso? Como means 'how', es means 'is it' or 'it is', and eso means 'this'... so, 'how is this?'... 'como es eso?'"
Which causes all the boys to laugh and then Luke of all people says, "muy muy guapo" (very very sexy) which causes everybody to look at Luke with big eyes and laugh. It also causes Javier to walk over and seriously hug the crap out of Luke... and give him a pretty good kiss on his cheek, and not a quick one. This time Luke knows exactly what's poking him. Javier tells Luke, "Tu tambien, you too!" which gets a big smile from Luke.
That exchange also starts a pattern than is continued... saying something slowly in Spanish, and then giving the English... if it's something they think the boys don't know. It's not perfectly 'full immersion', but they figure it'll help move things along faster, and as the boys learn an expression, they'll stop giving that in English.
Which, Luke being Luke, may have been a mistake because he immediately asks, "So, does that mean if we answer right we get a naked hug and kiss? I'm really gonna learn a lot of Spanish! And what do we have to do to get a REAL kiss?" which causes everybody to lose it.
Then the foursome decides to see which one can get naked fastest. There were no losers.
All the boys cheer, which causes blushing, but what the hell.
Javier and Matteo, feeling better than they've felt in a long time, look at each other with a few tears in their eyes, which isn't missed by anybody... the four go over and hug both of them and kiss them on the cheek, followed by the other boys and dads, although only Alex knows why.

It doesn't take long for everybody to get seated with a margarita in their hands. Two of the boys bring margaritas for Javier and Matteo. Most of the boys, now that J+M are naked, go back to the pool. Not the horny foursome, who don't get very far away.
Daniel, Diego and José hang around, enjoying a chance to chat with them... if it's simple, it's in Spanish with English... If it's too complicated, just English. All the boys seem to catch on quickly.
At one point Matteo says, a little embarrassed, in Spanish and English, looking at Diego and Daniel, "Guys, I'm sorry... but I don't know which one of you is which. How can I tell you apart?" which gets laughs from everybody. And he says it all in bits and pieces, alternating Spanish and English.
Daniel gives Diego a really mischievous look, channels Luke and wiggles his eyebrows, Diego nods, and they both go over and sit across their legs, all naked, put their faces together and Diego says in Spanish and then English, "I'm Diego. Can you see any difference?" Matteo eventually says, in Spanish and then English, "Ahhh... the mole on your face?"
Daniel and Diego laugh and say, "Sí," which gets another laugh.
They might have gotten it sooner, but Daniel and Diego were each playing with one of their nipples... with all the dads and brothers watching with very big eyes... who knew?
And then, just to really shock the dads and brothers, they both lean in and kiss them on the lips... maybe chastely... nobody's sure. The four sit and stare at each other a bit and then they all laugh pretty good... and get another kiss and hug from J+M.
After that Daniel, Diego and José go running for the pool... everybody still laughing.

Luke and Steve are sitting very close to Michael and Corey. They decided that if the secret was out that they were going to be honest about it. They kiss both of them on the lips and go and get a margarita for Michael and Corey, and Steve gets a half for himself.
The dads notice that Luke didn't get a margarita, so Alex asks, "Luke, you didn't get your margarita?"
Luke blushes a little, looks down and says, "Dads, after last time I wasn't sure I could have any," which causes Alex to flinch a little.
Alex, even though he's naked like everybody else, motions slowly with his finger to get Luke to come over. He wasn't going to offer him his lap, since he's naked, but Luke doesn't ask, he just sits down anyway, which causes Alex a momentary panic. But he decides he's going to try to ignore having a sexy naked boy sitting on his naked lap.
He doesn't think it's a great plan either, but at the moment it's the only one he can come up with.
Alex puts his hand on Lukes back gently and says, "Luke, I wasn't trying to punish you for asking, and I'm really sorry if it sounded that way. You can have one half of one, just like your brothers. And like I said, we'll gradually let you have a little more... all of you, just not too much or too fast... so, son feel free to have a half... if you'd like," and he pulls Luke tight into his naked chest and gives him a hug and kiss on the cheek, really hoping he'll go get a margarita and get off him before he gets completely hard.
Luke just leans all the way in and wraps his arms around Alex's neck and kisses him on the cheek and says with tears, "Dad, I love you so much... we're so lucky you adopted us. We can't imagine our lives without you... we're all so happy here... but, right now it feels like I better get off of you... unfortunately," which causes Alex to almost choke, and causes Luke and several others to burst out laughing as he gets up to go after his drink... leaving Alex looking like he's going to faint.
Alex decides to go with the flow. He picks up his glass and downs the rest of his margarita and looking at J+M says, "See what I mean about not worrying about an occasional boner? And Luke, could you PLEASE refill my glass? I think I need another one after that," which causes everybody to burst out laughing, including Luke.
Luke, being Luke, goes and gets his one-half and a full one for dad Alex, and basically wedges himself in between Javier and Matteo, who just look at him like he's lost his mind.
Luke looks back at them and says, "What? I want to be sure I can hear anything you say in Spanish," which causes them to laugh, even though nobody believes him for a second.
Luke adds, "If you'd like I could sit on one of your laps," which gets big eyes from both of them.
Matteo says, then immediately regrets, "You might get poked by something," which of course Luke is NOT going to ignore.
Luke smiles really big at him and says, "Perfect, at least I won't slide off," which makes all the adults think about it for about 3 seconds and then almost choke... and then they all start laughing. It's the only thing they can think of to do.
It doesn't stop Matteo from reaching over and putting his arm around Luke's shoulders and pulling him closer and kissing him on the cheek, but he says, "I think where you're at is just fine, although I may need something to put on my lap. Anybody got a pillow?" which again causes laughs.

After that they sit and sip and have a great time. J+M are looking a lot less uptight around all the boys... and others... naked. They're a little chubby occasionally too, but nobody points it out... yet.
It seems everybody is just going to go with the boner flow, and if it happens laugh about it... after all, what else can they do... well, except for not being naked, but NOBODY wants that.
After a while the boys in the pool are all feeling neglected, so they come up to recruit players for water volleyball. The dads and everybody give in, although they end up with so many people on each side, there's barely any room for the ball to get past them. But they all have a blast.
After one particular good point, Javier decided to scream "GOOOAAAAALLLLLL," which scares the crap out of everybody, but they all laugh really loud.
José, Diego and Daniel recognizes it as a Football (or Soccer in the US) announcer on Univision Network who was famous for his long, loud 'GOAL', which Javier explains.

Confession Sucks
And Not In A Good Way
The old farts all tucker out way before any of the boys, which is actually fine anyway. Luke and Steve are kinda over the whole worrying about all this crap... they want to get it over with.
As the old guys are getting out of the pool, Luke and Steve ask if they can all go and talk about things. Nobody looks excited, but everybody knew it was coming. They decide to go inside, where there are less boys to hear what's said.
Everybody gets a new margarita... except the boys, but Luke knows better than to ask again.
They all go into the living room and Luke and Steve take a seat. Javier and Matteo and all the adults follow them.
Luke and Steve are seated beside each other... as are Corey and Michael, but not directly beside them. When everybody's seated, Luke and Steve start by standing and going to the middle of the room. They take each other's hands in theirs, look into each other's eyes... and kiss sweetly.
Luke says, "Javier and Matteo. What we need to tell you... could cause a big problem if the wrong people find out about it... Can we please count on you to keep what we tell you private?" Which gives them a bit of pause, and surprises them, but they promise.
Turning to face the others, Steve starts, "Guys, we're here today because we're the most amazingly lucky boys on earth," looking directly at Javier and Matteo.
Steve continues, "Guys, did you know that we first met our new dads and Michael two weeks and two days ago? (which gets a gasp or two in surprise) We did. We were told that two gay men were coming to talk to us about being their sons. We had no idea what that would mean. We were more scared than we'd ever been... we were terrified that they'd only want one of us, but not the other. We were terrified that we wouldn't like them, even though they were our only real chance to stay together," both he and Luke with tears.
"But what we got... are two of the most amazing dads on the planet... and one of the most amazing big brothers. We would say 'THE most amazing', but we're sure dad Ken's and dad Jared's and Corey's boys would object," which gets a small grateful laugh from all of them.
Luke takes over, "But one thing didn't change immediately. We still had no idea what it would be like to live with our two gay dads... and their lover," Luke says, wondering what kinda of reaction he's going to get.
They had talked about the story that dad Kevin was writing, and how it makes that perfectly clear... but this is more like a lightning strike than a slow explanation. The dads, all four of them, have big eyes, as do Michael and Corey, but nobody panics or complains. J+M seem not entirely shocked, but a little surprised.
Luke continues, "I love Steve with all my heart... and soul. He's everything to me. He and I will be together as long as we live, if he'll have me," reaching up to run his hand gently down the side of Steve's face.
Steve does the same thing to Luke and they look deeply into each other's eyes, "Then you're stuck with me forever," giving Luke a sweet kiss.
Luke takes back over, "So, when we figured out that Michael was our dad's lover... it didn't bother us. It all seemed exactly like it should. The four of us talked about it and we were all glad they had each other. But, it was impossible to... get it in my head... how our dads can completely love each other, but also love Michael just as much. We didn't get it. I certainly didn't get it. But it's obvious that they do. Same with Corey and dad Ken and dad Jared. But I didn't get it. How can they?"
After a few seconds, Steve adds, "Captain Ken, by the way, was the pilot on the plane our dads... rented (?) to bring us home. We met him on the flight and the rest is history as they say," which gets a good chuckle from everybody.
Steve continues, "But one thing that happened is that Michael and Corey immediately... kinda... got the hots for each other. They slept together the first night they met," which causes a lot of blushing and looking down at feet... not by Luke and Steve this time, who are just looking emotionally at both of them.
Luke takes back over, "That totally fried my brain... I think. First the dads say they totally love each other. Then we find out they love Michael just as much... and the same for dad Ken and dad Jared and Corey... and we believe all of them," he says smiling lovingly at all of them.
Luke continues, "And then Michael and Corey sleep together. How can they? And then, there was a ...thing that happened the next morning at breakfast that kinda fried my brain even more..." looking at Steve who agrees.
Steve continues, "Dad Kevin has actually started writing a story about all this, and he's said you can read it if you want. It explains all this way better than we can. The thing that happened at breakfast was a very hot kiss... or kisses... you can read the story to find out who kissed who... whom(?)... but they were very hot kisses. And those kisses, despite a lot of warning from Michael, led to two other kisses... that kinda explains why we're here today... trying to not tell you about all of this," which gets nervous laugh.
At this point Luke and Steve move forward enough to kiss each other damn hotly. They look into each other's eyes and then walk over to Michael and Corey. They reach out and offer each a hand, and Michael and Corey both dread what's coming next... which they were not warned about.
When they're standing, Luke moves forward to Michael, and Steve does the same to Corey. They look into each other's eyes for a few seconds then Luke and Steve lean forward, stroke their faces lovingly and kiss Michael and Corey with all the love in their souls... and it's a lot, and it's a seriously hot, long, boner-inducing kiss... pretty much everybody in the room is hard immediately.
But Luke and Steve aren't making this easy. They continue to kiss, and then start grinding... and not gently either. They're rubbing and moaning and trying to kiss each other's faces off... everybody in the room is hard, some try to discretely put their hands in their laps... without playing with themselves.
Michael and Corey actually break off the kisses because they're ready to come. They don't think that would make a good impression... although they would have liked to see if it would have. But that would be way too risky... at the moment... under the circumstances.
They lead Michael and Corey back gently to sit down. Luke, looking directly at both of them says, "Payback's a bitch isn't it?" which gets everybody laughing long and loud, including Michael and Corey.
Luke turns to J+M and says, "The kiss was supposed to be a joke, but it didn't turn out that way for us. Michael and Corey have both apologized many times for it, but we're not sorry it happened... we're both very glad, and we're both really grateful to them for kissing us... like that. That kiss kinda destroyed what I thought I knew... about Steve, about what loving Steve means to me, about how I feel about Steve... but in a good way."
Luke continues, "Kissing Michael and Corey made both of us realize that we can love them... and continue to love each other just as much. In fact, I love Steve more than ever... and I never thought that was even possible.
"I know Steve doesn't need my permission to do anything, but 'letting' Steve go to LA for three nights with Corey was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life... and maybe also the most important. And Steve let me spend three amazing nights with Michael.
"We both gave each other the freedom to do something we really wanted to do, and it makes both of us, I think, love each other even more," to which Steve heartily agrees, and most have red eyes, including J+M.
Luke says, "If either of you are thinking that we're being taken advantage of... please don't. We're not. We're the ones that pursued them. We're the ones responsible for this, not them."
Steve picks up, "That's right, we're the ones that want this, probably a lot more than Michael or Corey do... they're just way too amazing to say 'no'.
"And, when Corey and I were in LA, we met two great guys who live in Palm Springs. And the two of them and Corey and I had a great time together... Including amazing sex. And Luke and I talked about it, then we both had sex with both of them... and Michael and Corey. It was more our idea than anybody else, so please don't think that we're being taken advantage of... we're not."
Luke wraps everything up, "Guys, we know you're probably thinking terrible thoughts right now... about at least somebody. If you are, they should just be about us... not Michael or Corey or our dads. Both of our dads, and Michael and Corey, spent a lot of time warning us that this would be hard for us... and it was, for a while, but since we kinda... we don't know, figured it out (?), it's the most amazing thing in our lives.
"We have been told in no uncertain terms that our dads will never, ever do anything like that with us... and that we're not even supposed to joke about it. And although I... guess... I understand why our dads said that, I'm really sorry about it too," looking directly at dad Alex, who's trying not to break down in tears.
Continuing to look dad Alex directly in the eyes, "Our relationship with Michael and Corey... and the other two guys... is so much closer because of what we've been able to do... how close we've been able to be with them. But, I understand that that's never going to change with our dads, and the last thing either of us wants is to ever do anything to hurt our dads... we don't ever want to do that... they've given all of us the most amazing life we can ever imagine," looking lovingly at their dads.
After a pause, Steve returns to the story, "Guys, dad Kevin has written a couple chapters about this. It's on the iPads beside you. We can show you how to access it. You can read it if you want... certainly don't have to. We'll be happy to keep your margaritas filled and you can sit and read," which gets chuckles.
Luke can't resist, "And Javier and Matteo, we would love to get to know both of you too... just as much as you'll let us... just sayin'," which gets howls of laughter from everybody, but J+M are sitting there with their hands over their laps and so hard they hurt and not sure whether they're kidding or not... and even less sure whether they hope they are... or aren't. Damn this is hard.
So, just to be clear Steve adds, "He's not kidding... and neither am I. But guys, we don't want to scare you off... so, if you're not interested in anything like that, we won't ever bother you any more about it. It's much more important to have you as friends... and hopefully Spanish teachers."
Javier and Matteo have the most indecipherable looks on their faces anybody has ever seen.
After a very long very awkward silence, sitting and looking at each other and everybody else, Javier finally says, "You guys are so going to KILL at show-and-tell in school, but you might have to find other things to talk about," which gets a really big long laugh.
J+M just continue to sit and look... something... for a few seconds. Finally Matteo says, "Guys, first thank you for letting us know what was going on... that was incredible. I am absolutely amazed that you're able to stand here and offer such an amazing explanation. I couldn't. That must have been incredibly hard... uhhh... no pun intended," hey at least everybody can still laugh.
Javier says, "Guys, I talked a little with Alex last night. I told him then we never, ever thought you were being abused or taken advantage of. We noticed... the pretty hot kisses between you guys, and I did ask if we could talk to you a bit, if it was ok with you... just to try to ask what's going on. I don't know how you feel Matteo, but I have no problem with your relationships at all. I'll be perfectly honest, I'm so hard right now I hurt... my first thought is how damn lucky Michael and Corey are, but there's no way I'm getting killed by your dads," which gets laughs.
Dad Alex surprises the crap out of everybody when he says, "Guys, I'll be honest. We promised all these boys the first day that we would never treat them like kids... and they're not.
"We know that a lot of people would hate us for letting two almost 13 year olds have sex at all... or worse, at least without yelling at them about it or threatening them, but we're not stupid enough to believe they wouldn't anyway. I did. And we won't ever make our sons sneak around or lie to us about it.
"I can't say we were entirely happy when those kisses happened," looking a little evilly at Michael, but then laughing, "but that I think turned out... not just ok, but honestly I think it turned out great. It hurt to watch Luke and Steve go thru all their feelings about what happened, but honestly... we've never been prouder of anybody. They never argued or got angry or got jealous... They just worked thru how they can feel about Michael and Corey... the same as they feel for each other.
"But, as long as it's somebody we know... well... and trust to never hurt these guys, and as long as we trust everybody to be safe... we'll leave that up to the guys, and we trust the guys to not get too carried away," looking very seriously at Luke and Steve, which causes them to blush a lot, and doesn't help J+M's state of arousal either.
J+M say they would like to read what Kevin wrote, mostly to give them some extra time to think about all this and not say something stupid, and they take them up on another margarita, with the warning that they might have to Uber home.
Luke of course offers to share their bed, to which they all laugh, but J+M aren't completely ruling it out... and Luke and Steve are really looking forward to it... which they tell them... which gets more very nervous laughs.
J+M can't resist walking over to Luke and Steve and saying, "We know it's not safe hugging like this (pointing down to all of them being naked... and hard), but can we give you both a hug. If you want we'll put on our shorts first (which nobody wants them to do). You certainly deserve it after doing that for us." They all hug for a very long, hard time, ending with a tender kiss... just on the cheek. When they finish they all kinda look down at what's poking them and start laughing.
Luke points down, wraps his hand around him and reminds them, "Not kidding!"

Luke says, "Dad, thank you... but I used to watch my... sperm donor... drink until he passed out. It was always something like... I don't have any money, or drugs, or my wife won't have sex with somebody for money, or the world is unfair... always something stupid.
"Dads, I don't ever want to be like that. It was terrible to have to watch him do that... almost every day. But thank you dads... we know you're just being extra nice because of all this and we really appreciate it... a lot dad," and going to hug and cheek kiss them both, which gets both of them red eyes.
Alex shakes his head a bit and manages to say, "You guys... I keep thinking you can't possibly make me prouder of you than I already am... and you keep proving me wrong. Gawd we love you guys so much... please don't ever doubt that," which gets even tighter hugs.
Alex makes one final comment to Luke, "Luke, we hope you know that you can call your father 'dad' or whatever you want. You don't have to avoid it for us."
Luke looks up at dad Alex for a while and then says, "Dad, I have two fathers that I love with all my heart. He was my sperm donor... and that's more than he deserves," which causes a sad knowing chuckle from the adults.
Of course it destroys both dads... and a few others, especially Steve and Michael.
Alex says thru tears, "Boys, we love you guys so, so much," and then really can't say any more, so they just hug the crap out of Luke and Steve for a while.
Javier and Matteo just look at each other amazed, and more than a little teary.

The Verdict
The dads and foursome are all seated in their usual spots when the readers come out. It doesn't get missed that there are red eyes. They put down the iPads they'd been reading on and hold up their margarita glasses... empty. Subtle hint.
After they wander over to 'Betsy', as the tireless margarita making goddess is named, and come back with glasses filled, they sit down beside Luke and Steve, and look at everybody.
Javier seems a little more outgoing than Matteo, and he doesn't disappoint. Looking at the foursome in particular he says, "That must have been a hell of a kiss," which gets a good laugh.
Matteo looks at Luke and Steve and then the dads, and with misty eyes says, "First Kevin, that's a great story... thank you so much for letting us read it. Guys, we're really glad you worked thru that. It's obvious how much you guys love each other. We're really glad it didn't cause a problem between you. But... are you REALLY glad it happened? It sounds like it was very... hard for both of you to get thru all of that," and he reaches beside him to rub Steve's back gently.
Steve just leans into him, looks up and says, "Yeah, I really am glad Matteo, and I think Luke is too," looking over at Luke who enthusiastically says he was.
Steve continues, "If that hadn't happened we would have had the two best 'big brothers' in the world. But because it did happen, what we have is so, so much more. No regrets at all. And, it showed us that we can love Corey and Michael just like we love each other without it causing a big problem for us... just like all four of our dads," which gets embarrassed smiles from Ken and Jared...
Steve continues, "And all of this has made me love Luke even more... like he said. No regrets. In fact... I think the two of you should get the exact same treatment," while giving the other three a very evil smirk.
Luke chimes in, "That's a great idea. By the pool, just like we did... come on. Who's kissing you... them (pointing to M+C) or us (him and Steve smirking)?" which gets a laugh.
Now Javier and Matteo, somewhere deep, deep, deep down inside, both really want to find a way to have sex with some of these guys. They both have the hots for Corey and Michael... and all four of the dads... and if they could get away with it, they both think Luke and Steve are adorable... however, the age thing is a very BIG thing. Neither has had any ideas of what exactly what they even want to happen, much less how to move things along. Above all, they like all these guys and don't want to screw that up.

After that they seem to have no problem with being pretty touchy feely with each other. Any time one is near the other, somebody is touching somewhere.

One thing the dads notices is that there is the sound of constant Spanish being used. Not overwhelming, but Javier and Matteo are pointing to things and throwing in Spanish words all the time, and having the boys repeating them back.
And the boys are all asking the three how to say things in Spanish. And they see a lot of things all over the house with little picture cards and Spanish words... so, the flashcards are being used.
Everybody notices that Aiden in particular is almost always with Daniel and Diego, and today José, and he's constantly trying to use Spanish with them... sounds like he's really working on learning Spanish.
About 45 minutes later dinner is served and everybody has a great time. Javier and Matteo split up, so they can sit and talk to more of the boys. The Spanish speakers are trying to get everybody to say anything they can in Spanish, and it's actually working pretty well. They spend a lot of time naming all the things on the table, the food, etc.
The dads and older brothers don't escape either. The Spanish speakers make sure to include them.
At one point all the dads are sitting alone and have a discussion about how well J+M are doing getting people interested and how impressed they are with both of them.
After dinner Aiden and his crew offer to clean up. Matteo goes to help them, enjoying the time with the Spanish speakers... José is helping them clean up too... and Aiden is no blushing wallflower when it comes to trying to use Spanish.

Matteo is having trouble believing this, "Are those guys really up for... getting fucked? Really? They flirt a lot but seem so innocent," which causes Michael and Corey to really laugh loud. That of course gets Luke's attention, who comes over to ask what was so funny.
Michael figures the easiest way to convince them is to let Luke and Steve do it, so he explains, "They say you two seem way too innocent to really want to be fucked," which almost cause J+M to choke.
Luke and Steve laugh and Luke says, "Innocent? Nope. Luke and Steve leer at each other and Luke, being Luke, says, "Great, when can we have sex?" which causes the dads to shake their heads and try to ignore them.

Alex thinks for a moment and then says, "Javier, we almost didn't adopt sons at all because of our... relationship with Michael, and what the boys would think. So it would be totally hypocritical to stand here and tell them they can't have sex.
"I'll tell you both the same thing we told Michael and Corey. We trust you to never hurt any of these boys. We could just tell them no, but if they want sex... and they do, trust us... it wouldn't do any good. We're trying to be responsible parents while not putting them in a position to have to decide between lying to us or not having sex... or sneaking around and doing it anyway, and possibly being unsafe about it," and he pauses for a moment to think.

They wander back over and sit back down, a little pale and unsure. Javier is kinda thinking out loud and says, "Your dads aren't like normal parents are they?" which makes the foursome burst out laughing really loud and long.
When they finally stop, Javier asks what's so funny. Steve explains the first time they heard that was when Luke said it, after the dads told them about the 'mile high club'. Again, J+M are thinking... 'fuck'.
It's late enough at this point that most of the boys get out of the pool and disappear into bedrooms, and J+M are pretty sure it's in groups of three, judging who is holding who's hand when they head down the hall.
The six just sit and stare at each other. J+M are still very unsure of this. Javier says to nobody in particular, "Your dads can't really be OK with this can they?" while looking very skeptically at all four of them.
Luke decides to take things into his own hands, so to speak, so he goes over and sits across Javier's lap, facing him. And more loved and welcome. And it's going to be incredibly painful if all this falls apart.
And, despite all of Alex's assurances, he's scared to death that doing this with Luke and Steve will destroy everything. He's lying here with his eyes closed, thinking about all this, when Luke leans forward and whispers in his ear, "Javier, was this a mistake? Luke, on the bottom, reaches out and lends a couple fingers to the asses on both sides of him, Javier and Matteo... which gets a great moan out of each. Luke surprises everybody when he asks gently if Javier and Matteo are sad because of what happened with their families. They admit they are, and how much it hurt when it happened, and even admit how amazing it feels to be here, with all of these families. They keep the part about their hopes and fears about being here to themselves. It's not quite time to share that... yet, if ever.
Corey decides this will be as good a time as any to tell them his little secret, that he was kicked out by his parents and adopted, which he does. He had already told Michael, since he didn't want him to hear about it from anybody else.
Steve had already been told of course, but Luke is pretty upset by the news, and is crying pretty good... He just hugs Corey for quite a while. Corey assures them all that he is very, very happy with how that worked out, and how much he loves his adoptive parents and brother... his 'real family' as he puts it. Javier and Matteo have no doubt that if their parents had found out about them earlier than they did, they would have been in the same situation.
Since there's no way that six people are going to sleep in this bed, they decide that Javier will go with Luke and Steve, and Matteo will stay with Corey and Michael. They'll switch next time.
Eventually Luke and Steve head for their room and take Javier with them. Everybody is pretty happy with how their first time together went, and all are pretty sure it won't be their last.
Before leaving Luke announces, "Javier, please feel free to make love to me as many times as you can tonight, you too Steve. Don't even wake me up. Please?" and then kisses Javier and Steve pretty damn good. Steve seconds that suggestion... and the kiss.
