Simmons and Murphy are pretty much part of the family no matter what happens. We'll get back to the deviant action in the next chapter! Jake Stone now on Facebook! Friend Jake Stone on Facebook and then get invited to the secret page "Stone Stories". All of my stories are pure fiction. From my twisted mind. I guess I lose interest in the stories when you guys seem to lose interest. The more emails the more it keeps me going. So given that my mind has been wrapped around the following scenario. I hope you enjoy it. I'm not your father. You know the laws in your states. You know the chances of diseases. But live your life how you want to on your terms. Life is short. Love. That's when he noticed the smell of sex in the room. He looked around and saw a bottle of poppers on the bed linens and a tube of lube on the nightstand. Perfect. He laid down behind Jason and pulled into the man. Spooning Jason into him. He never was attracted to guys the same size as him until Jason. He was always more attracted to shorter muscular hunks. Not one almost as tall as him. Jason slightly moved under him. Not quite waking up. Simmons decided just to hold and caress Jason for now. Feeling relaxed with him in his arms. So relaxed in fact that he soon fell asleep too. Finally able to sleep. Back at the pool the boys got onto their lounge chairs that were half in the shade under some misters and fell asleep themselves. Their hands holding on to each other between the chairs. All four guys rested peacefully without any idea what was happening to the rest of their family back home. Part 14:: Monday morning the four guys woke up in their own rooms. After a pretty mild evening they all agreed they were travel weary and called it an early night. The hotel was sort of quiet anyway as all the LA weekenders had left Sunday afternoon. Murphy was the first to stir. He and Simmons had cuddled most of the night but Simmons was now on his back about a foot away and it was easy for Murphy to get up without waking him. He went to the restroom and took a piss and brushed his teeth and then grabbed a towel and left the room to take a morning swim. The freedom of leaving your room naked and swimming in a public place was very pleasing to Murphy. He had had very few experiences like it in his life and adapted quickly. Realizing this is what he would prefer to do every day. He only swam a few minutes to get the cob webs out of his head and then, after getting out, dried off with the towel quickly as there was a morning chill in the air. The desert cooled off quickly at night but it would warm up quickly as the sun got higher in the sky. He took a seat in a lounge chair in the sun and relaxed for a while. It was then Simmons came out of the room looking around like he was looking for him. Once he saw where Murphy was he let out a deep breath and went back in to presumably do what Murphy did. Piss and brush his teeth. After a few minutes Simmons emerged again with a towel and walked over to Murphy. "Good Morning" he said as he dropped his towel next to Murphy. "Have you seen our wards yet this morning?". "No sir. Pretty quiet around here so far. But it is only about 7:30. I expect that Jason will at least be stirring soon." Murphy answer. Simmons nodded and then turned towards the pool. He jumped in and swam under water to the other side. Then he kicked off the wall and swam back under water back to where he jumped in. Simmons muscular form under water kept Murphy's attention. Simmons stayed in the water for a while longer, floating on top at times, and then going under to swim around some more. The door opened to the other guys room and as Murphy predicted Jason came out. Jason was a natural naturist. Always comfortable in his own skin. Without even a towel in his hand he walked over and said, "Good morning Patrick. I see Rett is enjoying himself." "Morning, yeah, I only went in to wake up. He's been in there about 15 minutes." Murphy answered while noting that Jason made sure and used their first names. A true soldier. Follows direction well. Jason then jumped in the pool and swam around until he and Simmons met up. Simmons pulled Jason over to him and kissed him good morning. And then they just hung on to each other and talked. Murphy watched all this with curiosity. Simmons was not an affectionate man. Unless he and Murphy were alone. But there was something between Jason and Simmons that was different. Simmons was totally infatuated with Jason and it seemed to be mutual. Murphy wasn't jealous or anything. Just curious. When it comes down to it Simmons needed a close friend at least. Besides his partner that is. As Josh came out of his room the two older guys were getting out of the pool. As they dried each other off Josh jumped into the pool just long enough to wake up and then came up and joined the other three. Jason and Simmons seemed to be distracted and finally Simmons said, "Jason I need to talk to you about something" and Jason followed him back to Simmons and Murphy's room. Murphy let out an amused sigh and Josh said, "What was that all about?" as he dried off in front of Murphy's lounge chair. "Well it seems to me that they wanted to be alone for a few moments. And I doubt they'll be much talking." Murphy let out a chuckle. It took a minute and then Josh let out a slight chuckle himself. "Yeah, dad seems a bit love sick. With everyone else he's dominant. But with Rhett he's totally like in love or something. Weird." "You got that after 24 hours of being with them? Pretty intuitive. Took me a couple of days before I saw it." Murphy answered. "Does it bother you?" Josh asked. "Actually it doesn't. And besides I have my own distraction" Murphy said smiling at Josh. Josh reacted with a smile himself and then got closer to Murphy's chair. He swung one leg over Murphy and sat down lightly on Murphy's groin. "Oh yeah, what might that by?". he said with his hands on either side of Murphy gripping the support bars of the lounge chair to support his weight so he wouldn't crush his friend. Murphy reached up and put his hand behind Josh's neck. "I think you know what that might be. Just like Simmons and your dad are so much alike so are we." "Yeah, could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship." Josh said as he lowered his head so that his lips met Murphy's. To say he was infatuated with the man was an understatement. And they haven't even really done the deed yet. Murphy had admitted to Josh yesterday that he was more bottom but did flip on occasion. Josh learned he liked to top as much as he liked to bottom with Wes. So flipping wasn't a problem for him. Murphy was as infatuated with Josh as Josh seemed to be with him. A very strange turn of events for him. Meanwhile, in New Orleans, Wes and Luke had gotten into Wes' Jeep as they were both due at their respective jobs. Luke was going to drop Wes off at the recruiting office and then take the Jeep to work. Luke was not going to work his first shift back until Tuesday but he needed to go into HR and give them the documentation for all his time off. Then he would circle around and pick up Wes. The two agents assigned to them were following behind in another black Suburban. Although these two agents were nothing like Murphy and Simmons. One was a large Hispanic man named Alvarez with a wife and five kids at home. The other was Miller. A tall African American woman. She was friendly but on the job all the time. The guys had nothing in common with either one of them so there would be no socializing with these two. About the time Simmons and Jason were going into Simmons and Murphy's room Wes and Luke were pulling up to the Recruitment office. Wes left the driver's side and Luke got out to take over the wheel. Agent Miller had left the Suburban as she was going to stay with Wes until they were picked up again. Alvarez stayed behind the wheel of the Suburban. As Agent Miller approached Wes and Luke was just about to get into the Jeep shots rung out. It was happening again. Miller grabbed at Wes and pulled him behind the Jeep. This time he wasn't hit. The scene turned chaotic. People running all different ways. People in store fronts ducking down. Cars screeching to a stop and trying to back away from the area. Meanwhile Alvarez had gotten out of the Suburban and took cover behind the front fender. His instincts and his experience quickly determined where the shots were coming from. Right across the street there was a Ford Truck. Black with tinted windows. The barrel of an semi-automatic protruding out of the passenger side window. A couple of more shots rang out from the truck mostly hitting the Jeep. Alvarez aimed and shot off a couple rounds right into the door and window of the truck. He heard a groan but didn't get up yet. Then he saw Jefferson sit up for a moment and he took that moment. He shot him first in the neck and then the head. Jefferson was dead. Alvarez got up and walked towards the truck. His weapon still drawn. He wasn't taking any chances with this one. But when he got up to the truck he saw that part of Jefferson's head was missing. Brain material on the back of the seat. He was definitely gone. He turned to the Jeep and started to walk towards it. Miller and Wes were just standing up behind the jeep but Luke was on the ground next to the driver's side door. He never took cover. Alvarez went running up to him. He squatted down next to Luke but he knew it was too late. The man, the one he was supposed to protect, was gone. A little bit of Alvarez's soul left him that day. He had never lost a person he was responsible for before. As Alvarez remained next to Luke the scene was taken over by local police, firemen and then additional FBI and Homeland Security agents. Alvarez just sat on the ground with his back on the Jeep a foot away from Luke. Finally Miller came over to pull him up. "It wasn't your fault. We were ambushed." She said trying to reassure her partner. Just then Wes came around the Jeep and saw Luke and let out a deep gut cry of anguish, "No! It was supposed to be me. He was after me." Wes fell to the ground on his knees close to Luke but not close enough to touch him. He was overwhelmed by loss and guilt. Miller and Alvarez just watched as the EMT's took Wes to their rig and tried to calm him. Miller turned to Alvarez, "You got him, you got the son of a bitch" trying to make him feel better. "But I lost the one I was protecting at the same time. I still failed." Alvarez said while getting up. He walked over to their Suburban and just sat in the driver's seat not knowing what to do. The door was open and one of his legs was sticking out. He just stared over at Luke. Even as Luke was lifted onto a gurney and taken to the morgue he just watched. Wes had been sedated and transported to the hospital. After what Wes had been through in his life he would probably need a long rest. Alvarez knew about the capture, torture and imprisonment in the Middle East. Everyone did. Wes was definitely the strongest man he ever met. Pa and Maggie went to the hospital an hour or so later. They were informed by the sheriff who was contacted by the FBI. He was asked to drive by and let them know what happened. They went to Wes' room right away when they arrived at the hospital. Wes was asleep. But whole. Wes was the most lovable person. Everyone's friend. Never met a stranger. Pa really liked his son's best friend and would do anything for him. Now that he saw Wes was safe his thoughts turned to his son and grandson. He didn't know where they were at as it was kept under wraps. But once they heard about Luke they would be a mess. He just wished he could be with them to help them pick up the pieces. Back in Palm Springs the guys were just getting back from a nice lunch downtown. They ate outside at a Mexican restaurant along N. Palm Canyon drive. The desert heat seemed especially intense this early afternoon. Almost as if there was something foreboding about the heat. The streets were quiet and the hotels around them seemed empty. A typical Monday in Palm Springs. Simmons phone went off just as they arrived at the hotel. As the guys went into the hotel entrance Simmons stayed outside and took the call as it was from his Supervisor. His knees almost buckled from under him as the Supervisor detailed what happened in New Orleans that morning. Luke was gone. He hung up from the call and just stood by the Tahoe. Not wanting to face the responsibility of telling Jason. Just then Murphy and Jason came out and Murphy said, "Josh is already naked by the pool. You coming in?" Jason saw Simmons was upset, "What's wrong?". "Murph, do me a favor. Go stay with Josh", he said and then turned to Jason, "Can you get in the car please. We need to go someplace. Someplace else." As Murphy went back into the hotel Simmons drove off with Jason in the passenger seat bewildered. Only a few minutes ago all four of them were having a great time. Now Simmons looked like he was totally broken. They drove up to the foothills. Got off on a dirt road and drove out to a barren lot. "Why are we here Rhett?". Simmons turned to Jason and put his hand behind his neck and caressed his new friend, "Because when we get back you need to be strong for Josh. But right now I'll be strong for you." "What, what happened Rhett? What do you mean? Is it dad?" Jason was becoming worried now. What could it be this time? "No, no, no, not your dad. Listen. There was another shooting this morning. Wes and Luke and the two agents with them were ambushed outside of the recruiting office." Simmons started. And then he took a deep breath. He knew he needed to get through this. Jason sat there staring at Simmons. Waiting patiently. Something bad happened and he wasn't sure if he wanted to hear it or not. "Jason, they got Jefferson, he's dead. But not before they lost Luke." There it was out. Now Simmons just waited for the aftermath. Jason's head was spinning. 'Luke?' he thought and then his mind went blank. His body was limp and then he passed out. Simmons had expected all sorts of reactions but not this. As he tried to revive his friend he began to realize that Jason was just overloaded. He couldn't take anymore. Since his son was kidnapped and Wes got shot Jason stood strong and reliable for his family. This was the straw. Slowly Jason came back. Shaking the cob webs out of his head. "Jason, bro, come on man. You with me?" "Rhett? Luke?" a tear went down Jason's face. "Yes buddy, come here" Simmons took him in his arms as Jason started to wail. Jason was shaking in his arms crying uncontrollably. And Simmons just held him. Nothing else he could do. It took a good 15 minutes for Jason to calm down. Once he was calm again, yet still incredibly sad, he turned to Simmons and said, "Thank you". Simmons caressed Jason's shoulder and said, "For what buddy". "Taking me here and telling me like you did. I would have had that all bottled up inside in front of Josh. In a short time you've gotten to know me pretty well." Jason gave a small fragile smile. "Murphy is right. We're a lot alike. We're both strong and stubborn. Take care of other's before we take care of ourselves. Are you going to be ok?" Simmons asked. "Yeah, I can't tell Josh yet. Not now. I need a bit. Can we go someplace else. Anywhere?" Jason asked. "Sure. Let me call Murphy. I'll make up some excuse. You up for a drive?" Simmons responded. "Anything. Just need to be away from Josh for a bit. I need to regain my strength for him. And now that I know he's basically safe from that monster I need to take care of myself." Jason said. "You bet buddy. Hold on." Simmons dialed Murphy. He explained that him and Jason were doing some exploring. They may get back late. Then he used a code sentence that only Murphy knew. It meant something went down and he would explain later but all was safe. He simply said, "I may have left the TV on". Murphy understood and said he and Josh would be fine. Take all the time they need. Simmons drove though the mountains to San Diego. When they got to La Jolla he turned off. He stopped at a small store and went in and came out with a couple of beach towels. Then they drove to Torrey Pines. They parked and Simmons led them over to the cliff. Then he started to descend down the trail. The climb down took about ten minutes but it was steep. Once down Simmons headed towards the north. There weren't a lot of people around but those that were were naked. Jason barely noticed. He was still in a state of shock. Simmons found a sort of private little sand cove by the bushes. He laid out the two new towels and started to strip. He had already locked his fire arm and badge in the Tahoe's glove box. He had also left his wallet in there and instructed Jason to do the same. He only took about twenty bucks with them. Jason followed Simmons lead. He just let his cloths fall off of him and then laid down next to Simmons. He put his head on Simmons shoulder and Simmons put his arm around him. There they were in the afternoon sun laying naked on Black's beach. Far away from everything and everyone they knew. Jason felt safe and exhausted. He let Simmons take care of him. First time in a long time he let someone else take care of him. Compared to the Palm Spring's heat the warm winds off the ocean were welcome. The guys just laid there holding on to each other. Jason healing. Simmons falling. Falling big time for the guy in his arms. It wasn't like Murphy. Sexually Murphy was his. Just like Wes was Jason's sexually. They were the alphas in those relationships. But Jason was his equal. He just couldn't go there yet. Not while Jason was healing. They slept for a while and then a guy on a bicycle passed by, naked, with a cooler attached to the bike. He was selling beers. Simmons bought four. He put two in the shade while they drank the other two. "I'm going to miss Luke. He was a good friend. We loved each other but it wasn't a torrid love affair. But we respected each other and always had each other's back. He was family. Just like Wes. For the past year the four of us lived like a family. Shared everything. There will be a hole now." Jason was just thinking out loud and Simmons let him. Not interrupting. They spent the night in a small motel down the coast. In the morning Jason said he was ready to see the boys. He was ready to tell Josh. Part 15, Home, cumming soon! I will revisit other stories and add to them when I figure out where they need to go. Thanks for reading!!
