NIGHTMARES

Chapter 34

"Jeremy, honey...wake up. It's okay, it's just a dream," Dee said as she gently held Jeremy and waited for him to calm down.

"It was...it was so real," Jeremy said, shaking as if he were freezing, tears running down his cheeks.

"It was just a dream, you're fine. I'm here, we're all here...it's okay," she said soothingly.

"Bro, you okay?" Isaac said with concern. He knew Jeremy had been having bad dreams lately, but this one seemed worse than all the others, and he was worried.

"I...I don't know. It was so real...so real," Jeremy said touching his chest, then finding no wound there, he sighed with relief.

"Can you tell us what you saw in your dream?" Aidan said moving closer to make sure Jeremy was really okay.

"I...it's too...hard...I...it was so real..." he said becoming upset again.

"It's okay bro, just let it go," It was obvious that whatever Jeremy had seen in the dream was disturbing and maybe reliving it wasn't the best thing right now.

"I...I think you should take mom and dad's advice and see that Doctor that the lawyer suggested."

"The shrink?" Jeremy muttered, "I...I don't know...maybe I should. The nightmares are getting worse. I don't know what's real anymore."

They were all gathered together at the Wilsons and Jeremy had laid down on the couch and gone to sleep with Dee holding his head in her lap, but not one had expected this turn of events.

Ever since the night of the concert Jeremy had been suffering from these nightmares, but no one could figure out what had triggered them. Everything had gone well as far as the concert was concerned, and they had made almost a hundred grand for the non profit. The fans had gone wild that night, and the boys had to do two encores before they were able to slip away.

"Here bro, drink this," Greg said handing Jeremy a glass of ice water, "you look pale man, can I get you anything else?"

"Pale," Jeremy said numbly, "losing blood will make you pale," he added in a near whisper.

"Jeremy, bro...you can't go on like this. You need to talk to someone about these dreams and see if you can't do something about them before they get worse."

"Don't think they could get any worse," Jeremy muttered, "dying is dying."

"You...you dreamed you were dying?"

"Not always, but sometimes."

"And tonight?"

"It...it was so real," Jeremy said almost to himself, "there was a shot and then...then I felt the bullet hit me in the chest and I looked up and I saw..."

"You saw what?"

"I saw...a cop holding a rifle, then I touched my chest and there was so much blood..."

Isaac looked at Dee and frowned, "I'm sorry bro, but I can't let this go on. I think you should tell mom and dad, but if you won't, then I will."

"I don't want to bother them with this..."

"Trust me bro, it's no bother. Will you talk to them?"

"I guess, but first I need to pee really bad."

While Jeremy was in the bathroom the others gathered around and whispered their concerns to one another.

"This is awful. I was afraid this would happen," Dee said near tears, "I knew he wasn't letting his true feelings out when this first happened, and now all that built up crap is coming out in his dreams."

"He needs to see that doc," Jaden said, "he'll talk him through this and he'll get better."

"I hope so, but the first step is getting mom and dad involved."

*******************************************

The Wilsons listened quietly as Jeremy told them about the dreams. How they had started shortly after the night of the concert, and how they were affecting him.

"I don't think I could ever walk out onto a stage again and not wonder if some psycho with a gun was going to shoot me."

"Son, I understand your fear, but the odds of anyone getting into one of the shows with a gun are very slim. They use metal detectors and screen everyone who attends."

"Yeah,  except the cops. Cops can have guns," Jeremy said, finally pinpointing his problem.

"I won't say your fears are irrational son, because I know where they are coming from, and I'm not qualified to help you through this, but I know someone who is. Will you agree to see Dr. Riker? I think, no...I know he can help."

"I...I don't guess I have any choice at this point. I'm afraid to go to sleep at night for fear I'll never wake up. I'm so tired..." Jeremy said, finally letting the tears flow.

"I'm so sorry son,"  his mother said taking her youngest son in her arms, "I'll call tomorrow and schedule an appointment. Whatever it takes son, we are going to see you through this."

*******************************************************

The record company was not keen on having a star wind up on a Therapist's couch, but Henry reminded them as diplomatically as he could, without blowing his top, that their fans were behind the boys one hundred percent and any negativity from the record company could be costly. He assured them that Jeremy would be ready to go back into the recording studio when the time came, and they seemed to get the message. In fact they even agreed to pay for the therapy if needed.

Greg had refused to go back to California with his father after he and Isaac made up, and the Wilsons had opened their home to him once more. Henry had finally given in to Greg's demands and had gone back to California to break the news to his wife and family.

He had offered to pay the Wilsons for Greg's room and board, but they had acted offended and he didn't press the issue. Henry was hoping that when school started Greg would move back to California, but if not he was prepared to make arrangement for him to go to school where Isaac did.

The Therapist, Dr. Riker, was a personable bot bellied man with a receding hairline and a goatee. Jeremy was a little amused by his looks at first, but he soon warmed up to the man and slowly but surely he began to open up to him. Among the things that came out in session were his early sexual experiences with other males, though he didn't mention any names. Dr. Riker listened with interest and when Jeremy began to talk about his relationship with Dee he smiled. It was obvious that Jeremy was very open-minded when it came to sex, but it was also very certain that he was in love with this girl he called Dee.

So far Jeremy had said nothing about the dreams, taking his time and getting to know the doctor, and in the process the Dr. was getting to know Jeremy. Dr. Riker knew about Jeremy's run-in with the Police, but so far Jeremy hadn't mentioned it, or the dreams, but Riker knew it was just a matter of time before the dam burst.

While Jeremy was busy with Dr. Riker the boys in the band took a breather and concentrated on other things. Zak and Aidan spent a lot of time together, as did Jaden and Jimmy, and often the four of them would go to the mall or a movie together.

Isaac and Greg had recommitted themselves to one another and were inseparable now, and the Wilsons had come to accept it and embrace it. As long as their boys were happy, so were they.

They worried about Jeremy, but they knew he was in good hands, and prayed that eventually the therapist would talk him through his issues.

The Policeman who had tazered Jeremy had received a short jail sentence, suspended, and 100 hours of community service, and when they were completed he packed up and left town. His partner received a written warning and a slap on the wrist, but thanks to Jeremy's campaigning he didn't miss a paycheck.

*************************************************

"The Pride Celebration is next weekend in Tulsa, do you think Jeremy is up for it?" Aidan asked Isaac as they sat editing a video they'd just made.

"Actually we talked about it last night, and he's pretty pumped about it. I think this shrink is really helping him. He told me last night that they had finally got to the dreams and things were going good."

"That's great. I'd hate to let our brothers and sisters in Tulsa down," Aidan said grinning.

"Yeah, well...Jeremy will be the only one of us there with a lover of the opposite sex, but I'm sure the crowd won't mind."

"What time will he be back?"

"Five or five thirty, his appointment was at four."

"Okay, well...I can hang till then. J and Jimmy are at the mall and Zak is with Jason and Tommy."

"Maybe tomorrow we can all get together and talk about the Pride gig. I want us to do this up right and make the folks in Tulsa proud."

"Yeah, I have some ideas in mind for some songs, maybe you and I can put our heads together while it's quiet here and see what we can come up with..."

The following day the whole band met, and Dee and Jimmy were there for moral support. Jeremy seemed more relaxed lately and hadn't had any more death dreams, and he was finally beginning to come to grips with what had happened to him and to put it behind  him.

To avoid a lawsuit, the city was paying for the Therapist and had awarded Jeremy and Dee 5,000 dollars each in a form of an informal settlement. Dee had put her money in the bank for college, but Jeremy had given his share to a local charity that helped kids and families.

Mrs. Wilson served the group a light lunch of sandwiches and salad, and there was soda and sports drinks to keep them going. They would have approximately an hour to perform at the Pride celebration on Friday night and then would ride in the parade on Saturday on one of the floats.

They would be the youngest group ever to perform at the Pride event, and they expected a large turnout, since many of their fans lived in the city. There was even a local chapter of their fan club there and they were to meet with the President, a cute teen girl named Cindy, before the show Friday night.

"These songs are great, but we need something to really blow the roof off that place," Jeremy said enthusiastically.

"Well, do you have anything in mind?" Aidan asked, knowing full well that he did.

"Well, how about something to get the crowd going and joining in?"

"Yeah, that would be good. Like what?" Jaden asked, waiting for Jeremy to drop the bomb.

"How about, We are the Champions?"

"I like that," Aidan said grinning, "and I know just the guy to sing lead vocals."

"Oh, ummm...who?" Jeremy said grinning.

"You dummy, I'm sure you know just how it needs to be done," Aidan said grinning.

"Well, yeah...I sort of thought maybe we could save it for midway through, after some of our regular stuff and then follow it with some of the new stuff."

"Let's see..." Isaac said grabbing a piece of paper and a pen, "First song is..."

By the time they split up that night they pretty much had everything lined up and had agreed to meet the next day to rehearse and make any final changes. Zak was doing a solo this time as well, though a different song than at the benefit concert. After his rendition of Imagine went viral his following had increased until he was almost a mega-star in his own right. The girls, and boys, loved this red haired freckle faced cutie and demanded to hear more from him.

At first Zak was too astounded to take the attention seriously, but even when he finally accepted that he might have some talent and be popular, he remained his same shy humble self. If not for Aidan and the others pushing him to the spotlight he would have been content to just hang out in the background and play the drums.

That night as Jaden and Aidan lay in their beds reflecting on their lives and their success, the mood was somber. Although Aidan wanted music to be a big part of his life, sometimes he felt overwhelmed by their sudden fame and success.

Jaden, who had never really been that keen on the music thing to begin with, had found himself swept up in it, and he had to admit he liked the notoriety and especially the money. However, both boys knew there were certain drawbacks that came with fame and success. For one: their personal lives were no longer theirs. Even the kids at school had started treating them differently and with the new school year laying ahead they expected even more of that. Then there was the public in general. It was hard to go out to eat, or to the mall without someone recognizing them, especially when the twins were together, for how many rock star twins could one town have?

"Ever wish we hadn't become so...so famous?' Jaden asked, voicing both their concerns.

"Sometimes. I mean I was happy just posting the YouTube videos and we were beginning to make some money off of them, but this is crazy. The good thing is, we'll be able to pay for college and won't be a burden on mom and dad."

"Yeah, but I wonder if the record company will be so keen on us going to college, especially if we're still that popular then."

"That's a ways off. Most boy bands don't last that long. I predict that by the time we head off to college we'll be ready to call it quits or split up anyway."

"That's kind of sad."

"Yeah, well, Isaac is two years older and he'll be leaving us first."

"Yeah, so...what are you saying bro, grab on and hold on till it's over?" Jaden laughed.

"Yeah, I think so. Enjoy it while we can, cause there's no promise that it will last."

"I think we need to make another CD," Jaden said looking thoughtful, "but it needs to be different, all original material. We need to show the fans that we're not stuck in a rut and doing the same stuff over and over."

"That's a great idea. I'll talk to Henry and see if he's gotten in touch with those song writers he talked about. Maybe we can put together some arrangements and try a few out locally and see what the fans think."

"Yeah, that would work. I think if we play our cards right we can keep this thing going till we get through high school. We may need to replace Isaac though."

"Yeah, well...maybe he knows someone. Maybe one of the kids he's working with at school."

"Yeah, we'll have to ask him. Meanwhile, any interest in snuggling with me?"

"Just snuggling?"

"Well bro, you know?" Jaden laughed.

"Your place or mine?" Aidan laughed, and Jaden was up and moving to Aidan's bed in a flash.

*************************************************

The therapy seemed to be going well, and everyone, especially Dee, was happy about what she saw in Jeremy these days. Once again he was his easy going, fun loving self and he seemed to be putting the incident with the police behind him.

However the media was not as eager to let things go, and were constantly trying to get an interview with Jeremy or Dee, or their folks, but so far they had avoided the relentless news hounds. They hoped eventually the story would grow cold and the press would find some new victim to pursue.

The day of the Pride appearance the boys and their parents drove up to Tulsa and even Zak and Jimmy's parents came along. Dee's mom had ridden with the Wilsons, but the other parents had all driven their child or children to the celebration.

For the parents this was all new to them and they were having some anxious moments as they drove toward the city. They loved their boys however just the way they were, and they were determined to be there to support them.

As they rode along, Tommy and Jason in the back seat of Mel's Escalade, and Zak in the middle row, the adults listened to the boys chattering away with excitement and relaxed some.

"Boy, this is gonna be so awesome," Zak said, bubbling over with excitement, "Did you know I have my own fan club in Tulsa?" he asked his folks.

"Yes dear, I remember you saying that," his mother chuckled, "and there are probably a hundred or so fans there just to see you."

"Awww...I doubt that. I'm just the drummer," Zak said calming down a little. Despite his fame as of late, he was still shy and humble to some degree.

"No dude, you're awesome," Tommy said, "You really showed em' at the benefit. You're not just a pretty face," he chuckled.

"Aww...I'm not even pretty..."

"Son," Mel said speaking up for the first time, "You are a very handsome and talented young man, and I am blessed to  have you as my son."

"Aww...Mel, I mean dad, I'm the lucky one. I love you and mom so much, and I can't thank you enough for...adopting us and giving us your last name. Zak Wheeler, I like how that sounds."

"Yeah, it's a proper stage name already, you don't even need to change it," Jason said grinning, "Course everyone just calls you Zacky Boy so I guess it don't matter."

Jason was referring to the cover of a teen magazine featuring Zak on the cover and they had titled it Zacky Boy shows his stuff. They'd all gotten quite a laugh out of that one, because of the double meaning of it, and the band still kidded him about it.

"I just like singing and stuff," Zak said simply, "I didn't think I was that good, but everyone seems to like it, so I guess it's okay."

"It's more than okay son," his mom said smiling back at him, "I'm very proud of you, and I can't wait to see what you're up to tonight," she added with a laugh.

"Let's not forget our other son," Mel said, "We're proud of you too Jason. You finished last year with a 4.0 grade average and I think a scholarship is awaiting you if you continue to do that well."

"If not I'll pay for his college," Zak said simply.

"I don't need your money squirt," Jason said grinning, "I can make it on my own, but thanks anyway. The car was enough, and all the other stuff you bought me."

"I like buying things for the people I love," Zak said proudly, "it makes me feel good inside."

"Well, buy me a rainbow tee shirt or something," Jason said.

"Yeah, me too," Tommy added, "so we can be matchies."

"Do you suppose everyone there will be...umm gay?"

"No mom, some straight folks come to support their gay families and I read where some even bring their kids to teach them about being accepting and diversity. It's a fun time for everyone. There's no need to feel weird or like you don't belong," Jason said.

"I didn't mean that son, I just don't have much experience with this stuff."

"Well mom, better get used to it cause you got two gay sons and there's gonna be a lot more pride celebrations."

"I think what your mother meant was, that we don't want to mess things up for you boys, so if you can give us some pointers on how to behave or what to do, we'd appreciate it."

"Just be yourself," Zak said smiling, "that's what we're gonna do. That's what's so neat about Pride, you can be who you are. It doesn't matter if you're straight, or gay, or bi, or whatever, you can just go out and have fun and no one will judge you."

"Thank you son, that helps. I think we've been worrying for nothing. After all, we're here to support our boys and I promise we'll make you proud."

"That's what Pride is all about," Zak laughed, "Get it PRIDE...PROUD?" and everyone joined in the laughter.

____________________________________________________________

The Pride celebration was held in downtown Tulsa, and the parade the following day would begin at 13th and Boston and proceed north on Boston to 4th Street to the Tulsa Pride Celebration at the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center.

For the boys' performance they had erected a huge stage on one of the parking lots for the concert, and there would be shuttles running to and from the downtown area to various locations nearby to help with the traffic problem.

The group arrived around two o'clock, and after a late lunch at Hideaway Pizza on Yale, they drove to the Doubletree Hotel on 7th street in downtown Tulsa. Henry had booked the rooms for them when they had first agreed to do the concert, and he had spared no expense.

Even though they were not making as much money as they usually did for a concert, they felt this one was important, and the record company agreed that the PR was worth any lost revenue. The boys had all agreed that they would do it for free if it came down to that, because they just wanted to be part of something that celebrated their music and their identities.

The Hotel was plush and the boys were tired, and after consuming mass quantities of pizza they were eager for a nap.

The parents had rooms to themselves, however the boys were paired up in fours, Isaac and Greg, sharing a room with Jason and Tommy, the twins of course with their baes, and Dee would be rooming with her mom, and Jeremy and Henry would share a room.

Jeremy and Dee might not be sleeping in the same room, but Isaac and Greg had offered them their room for some loving if they could find the time.

There was a nice indoor pool and after their nap the boys and Dee went down to enjoy it and relax before the concert. They had already rehearsed all the numbers to death and felt there was no need to spend any more time doing so. The rest of the afternoon was theirs to have fun, and enjoy themselves, and they would worry about the concert when it was time to perform.

The concert was to begin at 8 o'clock, and the area streets and surrounding parking lots were packed with people when the group arrived around 7:15. There had been activities going on all day long, with many vendors set up selling souvenirs and refreshments, and much of the crowd had been there the whole day.

There was a small trailer for the boys to wait in, but soon they were out and wandering through the streets, checking out the sights and enjoying the festive atmosphere and the people. A few of their fans recognized them, but other than a friendly greeting or a smile, none of them approached them.

Just before time to go on they met with Cindy, the president of their local fan club, and spend some time getting to know her and her and some of their fans, and agreed to sign a few authographs for the group.

At 7:45 they headed back to the trailer and waited for time to go on. As they waited, their parents, and the others headed to the VIP area and eagerly awaited the show to begin.

At 7:55 Aidan led the group on stage to a thunderous roar and the announcer, a drag queen named Ms. Vicky, had to wait for the noise to abate before introducing them.

"Boys and girls, and all you mixed up people," she laughed, "I am proud to present our featured band tonight, and not only are they the youngest group to ever perform at our Pride celebration, they are also one of the most famous. Since beginning their recording careers just over a year ago, they have released two very successful CD's and have performed at sold out concerts from LA to New York. But at heart these are local boys, not to mention, hot as the 4th of July," she laughed, causing the audience to erupt with laughter and cat calls, "and we are happy to have them here with us in good old Tulsa Oklahoma for our 2019 Pride Celebration. And so without further ado I give you, Alternate Love. Let's give them a good old fashioned Tulsa Welcome."

The crowd went wild then, and as Aidan moved forward to the mic he smiled out at the audience and made a heart shaped symbol with his fingers and threw kisses to the diverse crowd before him. There were young people and older ones as well, some dressed up in rainbow garb, or leather, or in some cases skimpy outfits that left little to the imagination. But there were regular folks too, some with small children, and the one thing they all had in common was that they were, or knew and supported someone who identified as LGBQT.

"Thanks so much everyone, gosh you've made us feel so welcome here," Aidan said once the crowd had died down, "No wonder we love it so much here in Tulsa, you guys and gals are awesome." This brought on another wave of hysteria, and when it subsided Aidan went on.

"Ordinarily I would wait till the end, or somewhere in the middle to introduce the band, but tonight I want to do things a little differently. Since this is Pride and we're all proud," he laughed, causing the crowd to join him, "I want each of my fellow band members and brothers to introduce themselves and tell you a little about themselves.

"I'll go first, I'm Aidan Reynolds. I'm one of a set of twins," he said grinning and pointing at Jaden who bowed, and that beautiful red haired kid up there on drums is my boyfriend. I'll let him introduce himself later, but gosh I love him so much," Aidan said wiping tears from his eyes, and he already had the audience won over.

"I want to thank my mom and dad for being so supportive of not only me and my brother, but of the whole band, and for helping us fulfill our dreams. Mom, dad, please raise your hands."

The two did so reluctantly and were overwhelmed by the applause and cheers from the crowd.

"Not much more to say really. I'm a normal teenage boy otherwise," the crowd laughed at that, "I play video games, go to school, and have fun with my friends, oh...and I make music. But you see, my whole point is, it doesn't matter if you're gay, or straight, or bi, or trans, or anything else, we're all just people, and we all deserve to be treated with respect and dignity."

That got the crowd pumped, and it took a moment for them to settle down. "So I'm just gonna say one more thing then I'm gonna let Jaden take over. I want everyone to turn to the person next to them and say hi, and give them a fist bump or a hug, whatever you're comfortable with. Can you all do that?" the crowd roared a yes, and soon there was hugging and fist bumping all over the place.

"Hi, I'm Jaden Reynolds and that's my boyfriend Jimmy right there," he said pointing at a blushing Jimmy who turned to face the crowd and gave them a smile as he raised his arms and pumped them as if declaring triumph. "Like Aidan said we're just regular kids and we love our family and friends and have a lot of fun. We love it here in Tulsa and we want to thank you guys for inviting us, well that's all...here's Jeremy.

"Hi, I'm Jeremy Wilson and I guess I'm the only one here who doesn't have a boyfriend," he joked, and when a number of boys catcalled and made it known they were available he went on, "Cause I have a girlfriend and her name is Dee, and she is the sweetest girl on the planet. Wave to em' sweetie," he said pointing at Dee who threw the crowd kisses as they all expressed their love for her.

"I want to thank everyone who was so supportive of me and the group after my unfortunate incident, but that's all over with now and things are going great. So, thanks everyone and I hope you enjoy the show. Now here's my big bro Isaac."

"Hey everyone, I'm Isaac Wilson and that good looking guy by my mom and dad is my boyfriend Greg. He's from California, but don't hold that against him," he teased, "and his dad is our agent, so they are both pretty special people. I agree with what my bro Aidan said, we're all just the same, enjoying life and trying to figure things out, and events like this remind all of us that we are not alone. So...thanks for inviting us, and Happy Pride."

When the crowd had died down Isaac turned to the stage and continued, "And now, last but not least is Zak , our newest member and our drummer and a great little singer. You probably know him best as Zacky Boy and I hear he has a fan club right here in Tulsa."

"Hi everyone, I'm Zak Wheeler," Zak began blushing profusely, "I want to thank the other guys for giving me a chance, and the fans for making me feel so welcome. I don't think I'm that great, but I try my best, and being in the band has helped me a lot. So has my boyfriend Aidan, and I love him a lot. Um...I want to thank my mom and dad too, cause you see until recently I didn't have a dad, then this wonderful guy down here married my mom and gave me and my brother Jason the best dad in the whole world. So, thanks, thanks a lot, I love you guys," he said getting emotional. So, I guess that's all. Thanks for inviting us and I hope you like the show."

"One, two, three," Aidan counted off and the music began.

The concert ran just over an hour and the crowd loved it. The new stuff was well accepted, but the crowd seemed to love their older stuff best, especially the gay themed love songs. Zak's rendition of Jessy J's Price Tag brought down the house, and showed just how versatile and talented the boy was. He was growing and evolving as a musician and everyone expected great things from him in the future. When the band sang We are the Champions the crowd went crazy, their voices raised high with the boys, and when it was over the clapping and cheering went on for a long time.

The concert ended around 9:30 and after the boys did two more songs as an encore,  they finally managed to make their get-a-way. Then afte rejoining their folks at the trailer, and after some discussion, decided to hang around and enjoy the festivities and check out the various booths. The adults were a bit uncomfortable at first, but soon they were joining in the spirit of things and having a good time.

Everywhere they went the people were friendly, but not intrusive, and they were spared the ordeal of having to sign autographs. Aidan bought a Tee shirt that said Free to Love Whoever I Want, and the other boys found similar treasures.

Mrs. Reynolds found a rainbow windsock that she just had to have, and Mrs. Wilson bought a rainbow umbrella. Zak bought rainbow tee shirts for the gang and wind chimes for his mom and a hat for his dad. The men satisfied themselves with food and drinks from the concession stands and that reminded the boys that they were hungry, and soon they were checking out the food vendors as well.

They finally managed to pull themselves away around 11 o'clock, and by the time they got back to the Hotel they were exhausted. After a performance there was always that let down once it was over, but the Pride Celebration and the friendly people at Pride had kept them buoyant till now.

The adults were on the second floor, and the rest of the group were on the third floor which afforded them some semblance of privacy, which was the adults intention. The only exception was Dee who was rooming with her mom, but her mom was cool with her visiting Jeremy once they got settled.

A soft knock on the door prompted Jeremy to jump up open it, and he was delighted to see Dee standing there. Henry took one look at the two and smiled. "Hello Dee, you're looking lovely as always. Do I need to make myself scarce and give you two some privacy," he chuckled as he glanced Jeremy's way.

"No, but thanks, we're all meeting in Isaac and Greg's room to go over some things, but thanks anyway."

"All right, but if you need some space, just let me know."

"We're fine, go on to bed if you like. I'll try not to wake you when I come in."

"Thanks, I might just do that. I'm not a teenager anymore and I need my beauty sleep."

A soft knock on the door admitted the two to Greg and Isaac's room and the others were already there. After hugs and congratulations all around the group made themselves comfortable as they rehashed the night's activities and the performance.

"This was the most fun I've had since we started this thing," Jaden said, "I think we should make this a regular thing. I mean, maybe not in Tulsa, but wherever we are. I mean if we're still together."

"I think that's a great idea. If we can't perform we can always just go and have a great time," Aidan offered.

"So, what's next?" Zak asked.

"Well, Henry is working on getting us some original material and then we're going to go back into the studio and make a new CD. I'm sure that will mean some touring, but probably nothing any more intense than what we did before," Jeremy said.

"That's cool, I'd love to get at least one more CD and tour in before I go off to college. That's gotta look pretty good on a college entrance application," Isaac said putting his arm around Greg and pulling him in for a kiss, "Greg and I are going to apply to the same schools and see which ones accept us both."

"We'll miss you bro," Jeremy said sincerely, "but eventually I guess all of us will wind up in college and the band will just be a memory," he added sadly.

"All the more reason we need to make every minute count. We've already made enough money to pay for college, so anything else is gravy," Aidan said grinning, "Mom and dad don't know it yet, but we're paying off the mortgage on the house as soon as we get our next royalty check."

"That's awesome guys, we offered to do that for our mom and dad, but they insisted we bank our money for the future. I think dad's too proud to let us help."

"I never thought of that," Aidan said frowning, "maybe we should talk this over with our rents before we get too carried away."

"I'm not saying it's wrong, it's just our dad, he's so stubborn. I wish they'd let us do that, and I hope your folks aren't so stubborn or proud."

"I just don't want the money thing to go to our heads," Aidan said, "I don't want to be rich and stuck up, I want to be the kind of guy who uses his money to help other people who deserve it."

"I think we all feel that way," Jaden said, "but Jeremy's dad may be right in one way, we need to plan for our future, because we won't always have the band or the CD sales or concerts to keep the money flowing."

"Henry has been a big help there. The financial planner he turned us on to is doing a great job of growing our money," Isaac said, "if things keep going as they are we can all have a good start on life after college."

"Anyone hungry?" Dee said, surprising everyone. Usually it was one of the boys who first felt the pangs of hunger.

"Yeah, I could eat," Jeremy said, "How about if Dee and I go round up some goodies for us?"

As they sat around eating their midnight snack the group of boys and one girl, soon turned into couples and nature took over. Someone dimmed the lights and the sounds of kissing and romantic whispers filled the room.

"I think we should give Dee and Jeremy some alone time," Aidan finally said, "How about the rest of us go to mine and Jaden's room?"

"Oh, you guys don't have to..." Jeremy protested weakly, but it was obvious he liked the idea.

"It's cool little bro, we have all night, we can give you two love birds some time alone. Come on guys, let's go check out the Twins' room."

When the others were gone and the door was firmly latched Jeremy removed his shirt and took Dee in his arms and kissed her passionately, "Thanks for being there for me through all this stuff," he said, nuzzling her neck afterwards.

"Jeremy, sweety, I am in this for the long haul. The only way you are gonna get rid of me is to tell me to go."

"I'd never do that," he said looking into her eyes, "I've found my soulmate. I just hope you have too."

"Yes, and he's tall and handsome with the most beautiful shade of skin..." she said grinning.

"Who is this guy, I'll murder him," he teased.

"Oh, I don't think you'd want to do that silly. It's you, you're my soulmate and I love you so much."

"I love you too," he said pulling her against him.

"Oh, I feel you...you're so hard," she hissed, "help me get these clothes off and then I'll help you."

The clothes came off quickly and the only moment of indecision was which bed to use, but in the end they just fell down on the closest one. Jeremy was a passionate lover and took his time pleasing Dee and bringing her to multiple orgasms with his fingers and mouth before allowing her to pleasure him.

"Mmmm...so good," she said coming up off of his cock long enough to moan her approval.

"You are so good at that," Jeremy hissed.

"Tell me if you get too close, I don't want to waste this. I want you to make love to me."

"But, what about..."

"I have one in the pocket of my jeans. One of us has to be prepared," she laughed.

"Got ya', I have one in my wallet,"  he snickered.

"Well, one will do for now, we'll see if we need the other one," she said in a sultry voice.

"Oh God, just thinking about it is so hot," he moaned.

"Well, then let's stop thinking about it and do the deed," she said falling down beside him.

He immediately rolled onto his side and began kissing her breasts and working his tongue down the center of her body till he reached her well trimmed pubes. Then licking her clit and causing her to moan, he jumped up and retrieved the condom from his wallet and slipped it on.

He kissed her as he repositioned himself between her legs and without too much effort he entered her and sank in deep. Despite his artificial leg he was graceful and yet powerful as he made love to her.

"Ohhhh...that's nice," she cooed.

"I love you so much baby," Jeremy said as he began to move, "and someday we are gonna be married and we won't need a condom. Nothing will come between us."

"Mmmm..." Dee moaned, "love me baby, love me."

An hour later, exhausted and flushed the two love birds knocked on the Twins' door and Jaden answered.

"So soon, you guys are getting old, likes some married couple," he joked.

"We just didn't want to keep Isaac and Greg up too long, you know being older they need their beauty sleep," Jeremy laughed.

"Oh, that is so wrong," Isaac said, "that's what we get for being so nice and lending you our room," he said, pretending to be offended.

"You know I'm joking bro, you're beautiful already," Jeremy said giving his older bro a full-on body hug.

"Are you still hard, or is that a flashlight in your pocket?" Isaac joked.

"I'm just well hung," Jeremy said pulling away and grinning, "But for real, thanks guys we really appreciate it," he said taking Dee's hand in his.

"Yes, you guys are so sweet. I love all of you like family," Dee said looking very emotional.

"We love you too sis," Jaden chuckled, "and someday when you and Jeremy have kids we'll be uncles."

"Not for a while," Jeremy said looking at Dee tenderly, "but can you just imagine how cute our kids will be with parents as beautiful as we are?"

"Stuck on yourself much?" Jimmy kidded.

"When you got it, flaunt it bro."

"Well, I'm going to head back to my room, will you walk me Jeremy?"

"You know I will. Thanks again guys, see you in the morning."

When they were gone the others said their goodnights to the twins and their BF's and headed back to their room. When they arrived the first thing Isaac did was check to see which bed the two had used.

"In my bed," he chuckled, "now it's gonna smell like sex all night long."

"Count on it," Greg said starting to undress, and we ain't started yet."

"I hope you guys don't mind some company," Tommy said, "cause we're gonna' be making some sex smells over here too." That got everyone laughing, but only for a minute before they got naked and down to business.

*******************************************************

The parade was one of the longest in the history of the city's Pride events, and the float the boys appeared on was about half way through the long string of floats, and cars, and buses, trucks, and people.

Dee and Jimmy, were there as well to support their boyfriends and the crowd loved them as much as the boys in the band. One of their songs was blasting from speakers on the float and some impromptu dancing broke out as they passed.

At the end of the parade route the proud parents, as well as Tommy and Jason stood waiting and talking with people in the crowd. Despite their initial worries, the adults were finding out just how friendly and accepting the people at Pride were, and they felt a warm place in their heart for the city and it's people.

When the float finally pulled into the designated lot at the end of the parade route the gang climbed down and walked over to where their families stood waiting.

"You guys were awesome," Mrs. Reynolds said enthusiastically.

Jaden laughed, "Awesome? Way to go mom, getting with the times and using cool language. And yeah, we were kinda, thanks."

"It was fun," Zak offered, "I always wondered what it would feel like to ride in a parade instead of just watching it."

"Some girl threw her hat to Zak," Aidan laughed.

"At least it wasn't her panties," Jason offered and everyone fell apart with laughter, except Zak who looked a bit ill.

Back at the motel they rested a bit, showered and changed, and went out to a nice restaurant for dinner. Afterwards the boys convinced the old folks to take them to the Gathering place at River Parks and they spent some time there checking out all the new additions the city had make. The park was now world class and there was so much to see and so much to do that the adults literally had to tear the boys away. Only after promising them that they could come back and spend a day there, did they get the boys settled down.

When they returned to the Hotel everyone except Dee and Jeremy enjoyed the indoor pool, and Dee and Jeremy enjoyed each other. When they rejoined the boys it was bedtime and they said their goodnights and went off to their rooms to sleep or in some cases have wild monkey sex till they passed out. Tomorrow they would be returning home and going back to their normal lives.

End Chapter 34

Well, that was one way to pull myself out of a hole. Hope it wasn't too sappy. I'll try not to accidentally kill off any more characters in the future.
