As they were walking up to the front door, Eddie said, "I forgot to ask you but I need to buy a sport coat for the funeral. Would you go with me?" "I'm sure Dad or Uncle Paul or even Grandpa has a sport jacket they can let you borrow." "I couldn't impose." "Don't be silly. I'm sure one of them will be happy to lend you one. I'll take care of it." Benny thought he could ask his dad first as they were about the same size. Uncle Paul and Grandpa Joe were a lot bigger. They walked inside and Benny introduced Eddie to Uncle Paul and Grandpa Joe. Tom gave his dad a long hug and told him how good he looked. Eddie said the same thing about his son. Then he whispered into Tom's ear, "I'm so sorry about Jerry, son." Tom looked at his father and said, "Thanks for that, Dad... and for making the trip." "Anything for you, son," he said as he kissed his son's cheek. Dorothy, Benny's grandmother, was last. "You look good, Dor," Eddie commented as he gave her a quick hug. Benny stayed close by to make sure he could rescue his grandad if needed. "You too, Edward." Eddie smiled at the use of his formal name. "Are you still sculpting?" he asked knowing Benny had told him she didn't anymore. But Dorothy surprised him by saying, "I wasn't for a while but I have started back up again recently. Still painting?" "Yes, I am. And selling my work on the internet now. I'd love to see your latest work while I'm here... if that's okay?" Benny looked at his Grandma and she was clearly flustered at his request. "You'd like to see my work?" "Of course, Dor. You were always so very talented." That made Benny's grandmother beam. "Why yes of course. I'm sure there will be time to take you on a tour of my studio before you go back." The fact that his grandmother had a studio was news to Benny too. He figured Eddie would be okay after that and went to check on his Dad. "You okay, Dad?" he asked. "Yeah, I'm good. Thanks again for picking up your grandfather. Did you have a good visit? I'm sure you peppered him with plenty of questions. Am I right?" Benny laughed and replied, "I may have asked a question or twenty." They both laughed at that. "Just twenty?" Tom asked with a wink. "Okay maybe fifty." After dinner, Benny drove his grandad back to his hotel. Then Eddie asked, "Do you have time to come up?" Benny beamed as he answered, "Sure!" When they got into his room, the first thing Eddie asked was if it was okay for him to get more comfortable. Benny assured him it was, so Eddie began to take off his clothes. "So is your artists' community also a nudist colony?" Eddie laughed and replied, "Not exclusively. If anyone feels the need to be free from textiles, then they are allowed and even encouraged to do so." "You're a hippie aren't you?" Eddie laughed again and asked, "What do you know about hippies?" "I read... history." "Ouch!" Eddie replied playfully. "Do you have time to pose for a painting, Ben?" "I do actually and I thought you'd never ask!" he stripped down quickly, pulled out a chair and struck a provocative pose. Eddie was surprised at first but then kind of turned on by it. He busied himself with setting up then started sketching for the painting. He pulled out his traveling watercolor box and filled in the sketch with color. When he was finished, he told Benny to take a break. He got up and looked at the finished piece. He was thrilled with the result. "It's fantastic, Eddie!" he said then hugged his grandfather. "I'm glad you like it." Eddie tried not to get excited by the feel of his grandson's bare flesh against his own, but it wasn't working. He had to pull away before it got out of hand. "So I'm sure you'll want to get back home. Tomorrow is going to be a long day." "Couldn't we do just one more sketch before I go?" Benny asked. Eddie couldn't say no, so he relented. "Okay, one more. Why don't you lie down on the bed and get comfortable." Benny pulled the bedspread back and got in. Eddie arranged the sheets so that his cock and balls were still showing then sat down to draw. It took him longer than he had anticipated, so by the time he was finished, he noticed that Benny had fallen asleep. He covered him up then sent a text to Tom explaining that Benny was asleep and would be spending the night in his spare bed. Eddie got ready for bed then joined his grandson in the only bed in the room. The next morning, Eddie awoke with a hardon and his grandson sleeping up against him. His arm was draped across Benny's chest so when he attempted to remove it, Benny woke up and said, "Morning, Eddie." "Morning, Ben. Did you sleep okay?" "Yeah, I did... but Dad must be..." "It's okay. I texted him last night." Benny relaxed then asked, "What time is it?" "Don't worry. We have plenty of time before we have to jump in the shower." Benny was very happy to hear that they would soon be showering together even if that wasn't exactly what Eddie had meant. Benny wiggled his butt against Eddie's hard cock and said, "I see you have some morning wood." Then Benny reached in between them and wrapped his hand around Eddie's hard cock. "Uh yeah. Sorry about that." "Don't be. Mine is hard too," he replied as he took Eddie's hand and placed it on his own hardon. Eddie couldn't help himself. He squeezed it. "Any ideas what to do with them?" "I want to suck yours." "Then I'd like to suck yours too. How about we do each other in the shower?" Eddie asked. To that Benny replied, "Cool!" They got in the shower together then Benny kneeled down and took Eddie's cock in his mouth. Eddie needed to come badly so he shot his load almost right away with Benny swallowing every last drop of his grandad's creamy cum. Eddie knelt down and began sucking on his grandson's stiff prick. Benny lost it and shot his cannon down his grandad's throat. When Eddie came back up, he kissed Benny in a not so grandfatherly way. Afterwards they lathered each other up even though it had to be quick. Once they were clean, they got out toweled off, dressed and left for Paul and Tom's house so that Benny could change clothes. While Benny was getting dressed, Tom helped his dad pick out a sport coat and tie for the funeral. * While Jerry could have been buried at Arlington, the family decided to have him buried closer. The funeral was presided over by an Army chaplain. Several friends and comrades of Jerry's attended. Benny sat on one side of Sally while her brother Steve sat on the other. Tom, Paul, Dorothy and Joe sat in the front row with them. After the flag was removed from the coffin and folded, it was handed to Sally. She broke down but Benny and Steve were right there to comfort her. As attendees were leaving, Benny saw Jim standing by himself, so he went over to talk to him. "Thanks for coming," he said then hugged him. Jim was surprised but not unhappy by the move. "I wanted to. How are you doing?" Benny shrugged and answered, "As well as can be expected. We're going back to my Grandma and Grandpa's after. You're welcome to come." "I'll be there." "Give me your phone," Benny insisted. Jim did as Benny had requested then Benny started typing into it. "I'm typing their address into the map. All you have to do his hit start." Then he handed it back to Jim. "I have to go but I'll see you there!" then he went back to help support his mother as her brother led her to the car. Paul had noticed Benny with a good looking young man and asked Tom, "Who's that Benny's talking to?" "I believe that is the illusive Jim, Benny's workout buddy." Paul looked at the two of them talking so closely and remarked, "Looks like more than a buddy to me." Tom smiled at his lover's observation and replied, "From the look on his face, I think Jim at least would like it to be more." * Once they had arrived at Joe and Dory's, Benny made the rounds trying to speak with everyone and accepting their condolences on his loss. He finally saw Jim and went over to speak with him. This time Eddie noticed and asked Tom about the young man Benny was talking to. "That's Benny's workout buddy." Eddie's face lit up as he said, "Jim." "Yes. Did he tell you about him?" "He did. He's interested in him but I don't think he wants to mess up their friendship." "I think you're right, Dad. Should we encourage it anyway?" "I think I might have already. I hope it works out for him though." Tom put his arm around his dad's shoulder and said, "I do too." Benny asked Jim, "Do you want to get some food? I'm hungry and it looks like everyone is just waiting for someone to go first." Jim nodded and replied, "Sure." They went to the table, grabbed a couple of plates and proceeded to fill them up. Then they retired to a quiet corner to eat and chat. Meanwhile... Eddie had managed to corner Dorothy and ask her to show him her studio. She looked around and saw that everything was taken care of and that she could spare a few minutes to grant his request. Secretly, she had always valued his opinion. They had once been a creative couple, feeding off each other's creativity while being supportive of each other at the same time. Eddie walked around, taking his time, looking at each piece carefully. After what seemed like an hour but which was in all likelihood only fifteen minutes or so, Eddie spoke, "They're marvelous, Dor! Fantastic! The lines, forms and textures are incredible. I wish there were more." "I just recently started sculpting again. I'll have more soon enough... if the inspirations continue to come." "Well, I hope they do. You know, there is a small but important gallery in New York that might be interested in some of these. Would you mind taking some photos, say three of each from different angles, and sending them to me so that I can forward them to Claudette?" "My work in a gallery in New York? You've got to be joking." "I'm quite serious. Please let me do this for you?" "How about I think about it?" Dorothy asked. "That's fine but I do hope you will." Dorothy smiled and Eddie thought he saw a little of the girl he fell in love with decades ago. They left the studio to join the others. A few hours later, everyone started to leave, including Jim. Benny walked him to his car and for some reason, as they stood there saying goodbye, he kissed him. Jim couldn't have been happier at the development. "Sorry, I probably should have asked first before I did that." "No problem, Benny. I liked it." And that made Benny happy. They planned on meeting up the next week to start working out again then said goodbye once more. After helping Dorothy and Joe clean up, Paul, Tom, Eddie and Benny drove back home. Once there, Eddie tried to give Tom back his sport coat, but he told him to keep it, telling him it might come in handy in the future. Eddie thanked him and then asked Tom if he would show him what he was working on at the moment. "What makes you think I'm working on anything, Dad?" "Because, even though I may not have been around for years, I know you. You were always creating, just like your mom and me. So show me, please?" Tom smiled as he led his dad out to the part of the garage where he carved his wood sculptures. Eddie looked at each piece with awe and appreciation. When he was finished, he turned to his son and said, "Just as I thought. Your work has progressed, matured, just like your mother's has. I'm proud of you for keeping it up after all these years. I mentioned to your mom that I had a gallery in New York in mind that might be interested in showing her works. Perhaps a mother/son show of your combined sculptures might be an even better idea. Would you consider it?" Tom was flabbergasted by the offer. "I don't know what to say, Dad. Do you think they're good enough for a New York gallery?" "I do. And yours combined with your mom's would make a great and entirely unique show." "What about your work, Dad? Couldn't we combine all three?" "No, son. My work is too representational. Yours and your mother's are abstract and will draw a totally different clientele. Trust me, It'll work. I will need some photos of them though. I'd need three of each from different angles. Can you do that?" "Sure," Tom assured him. "Paul's an excellent photographer. He takes all his own photos for his online articles and blogs." "Sounds good. I should probably be getting back to my hotel. Do you think Ben would mind driving me?" "Actually, I was hoping you'd let me drive you." Eddie's face lit up at the offer. "I would love that, son." They hugged and went to tell the others. Naturally, Benny was bummed that he wasn't going to get to drive his grandad back to his hotel, but Eddie reminded him that they were spending the next day together and that he was driving Eddie to the airport afterwards. Even though this was the first he was hearing of the plan, it made Benny very happy. (to be continued in Part 3)
