Reading how enjoyed my story gives me a warm feeling. Sometimes even a HARD feeling hahahaha First chapter was all about how fifteen year old Brady found out that the ongoing nightmare he had as a child was very much reality, because his mother confessed she stole him from a amusement park years ago, that he was in fact South African born and had a whole other family he never knew about. The chapter ended where his twin brother, Romeo, finally made contact with him. There is a GOOD reason why this story is called "Your Romeo" loool see if u can figure it out. Please keep on sending feedback!! I'm seriously loving what you have to say xx liciousryan@gmail.com Love, Ryan YOUR ROMEO CHAPTER TWO "Im your twin brother...Romeo." Brady had heard what the hot boy in front of him said but it didn't seem to quite sink in yet. Firstly, he was still reeling from the fact that he had been lied to his whole god damned life, that he wasn't even an legit American citizen, everything he had believed in thus far in his fifteen year old life was fake, he was christened as someone else...Brady wasn't even his true identity... And secondly, he found it extremely weird that this motherfucker of a sexy dude before him had just said he was his twin brother, because except for the same jet black hair, they looked nothing alike. It creeped him out that he thought this boy was hot before he said those damning words. If he and this boy was really related then his thoughts bordered on being really, really sick...but then again what about this situation wasn't sick? "Did you hear what I said?" Romeo asked again. He gently reached out with his right hand and placed it on Brady's knee. Brady shuddered. He knew the other boy could feel it too, because the look in Romeo's eyes changed drastically. Its as if both boys were in a trance. They were looking into the eyes of the sheer, most beautiful boy that either had ever met. And yet...somehow, apparantly they were twin brothers. Even Brady in his zonked state knew that somewhere along this path there was something not entirely right with that. The doors of the hospital lift opened again and this time an elderly woman entered. She looked around the reception area before noticing Romeo from behind, probably recognizing him from his clothes. And then she seemed to notice Brady. She suddenly clutched her handbag tight, and her left hand shakingky moved over her mouth in what could only be described as utter shock and disbelief. "Someone's coming..." He whispered to Romeo, not thinking it was probably his first ever words he had spoken to his twin brother. The elderly women came ever closer and Brady was taken back to see that she had the exact same eyes as himself and Romeo. There was no doubt it seemed... "Romeo, is dit hy? Here asseblief..." (Romeo, is this him? Please God...) The woman looked like she was about to faint before Romeo stood up and out his arm around her. "Ouma, jy moet Engels praat, onthou hy verstaan nie Afrikaans nie." (Grandma, you should speak English, remember, he cannot understand Afrikaans.) Romeo then walked over to Brady and gently pulled him upwards by his arm. He placed his arm around Brady's shoulder and the latter boy could feel the love this kid must have had for him, even though they had just met. He had read about the weird twin thing before but obviously never thought it would ever apply to him personally. "Brady, this is our grandmother, Gerda. It was she that received the email that your mom sent and I came to America with her. I'm sorry, I can see this is hell for you. But you are our family. You're my bro. Her grandson. You're safe now." As hot as he found Romeo, something inside of Brady finally snapped him out of the semi catatonic state he was in. He KNEW Romeo didn't mean to insult his mom but something inside his soul made him angry to his core. "Safe? My mom didn't abuse me! She looked after me and cared for me like any mother would! I'm happy here. Don't come all this way and wanna be talking shit here. You're not in South Africa now with your fucking weird Dutch languages and everything..." "Its called Afrikaans actually.. " "I don't give a fuck! My life was great before all of THIS happened! Leave me alone!" Brady yelled to the attention of the entire reception area and stormed off. He needed some alone time to process all of this. He needed someone to talk to. Not his mom. She caused ALL of this. God, he was so mad at her. He realised now that she was sterile and could never have had children but WHY didn't she at least tell him?? He has NO interest in getting to know Romeo or that old woman who was apparently his grandmother. No. Fuck the fact that Romeo was the hottest boy he had ever seen. He still loved James, even though the latter had thrown away their once very close friendship. He really needed James right now. Even if just to talk to and tell him about everything that has happened. Yes. James would know what to do. He always does. Brady whipped out his phone and sent James a WhatsApp message. "Dude, can we talk? Its really important. Please?" Within minutes came the reply. "At church with Jemima. Leave me alone." Tears rolling down his eyes, he typed the most insulting words he could think of to his once best friend and the boy he loved. He wanted to hurt James as much as he had hurt him. Him andntat pathetic Christian following church bitch he called his girlfriend. As he pressed the send button with demonic pleasure, he saw that James had blocked him as a WhatsApp contact. "FUUUUUCK!!!!" Brady stood up and smashed his phone onto the concrete floor where it smashed into a thousand little pieces of glass and metal. This was just so unfair. He had lost his best friend and everything he had believed in in the space of two days. No fifteen year old boy's heart could take that without pain. He crouched down and as silently as he could, cried the pain away. Its all that seemed to help. After what seemed like hours, he finally got a grip on his emotions and stood up, making his way back to his mom's hospital room. As he entered, he saw Romeo and the old woman next to his mom's bed. The old woman was holding his mom's hand. "What's going on?" Brady's eyes diverted from his mom, to his supposed grandmother and finally he met the eyes of Romeo. The boy was stunningly beautiful. "Come here, sweetie," his mom said softly and he walked towards her. She pulled him into a hug and he could feel her body shaking. "Be strong, baby. Be strong. Listen, I've spoken to your grandmother...yes Brady, they ARE your biological family. You have to be blind to see that you and her don't look exactly the same. You have each other's eyes. Your manurisms are the same. The way you walk and even the way you smile. There is no doubt. Gerda van der Linde is your grandmother. If you wanna be angry at someone, blame me. I took you from them. All I could think about was that damn diagnosis that I was given. That I was incapable of having kids of my own. And there you were, floating FACE DOWN in the ocean water that day...no one was paying attention to me, because they were searching for your parents and your little brother. I took that chance, and slipped away. I wanted to tell you so many times but there was never a RIGHT time. I'm so sorry, baby." Brady looked down at his fingers while processing that his mom was saying. He finally looked at his gran. God...they really did look alike. More than he first realised. He took a deep breath and ran his fingers through his hair. "What was my real name? Before all this?" His grandmother gave him a sad smile and a tear roller across her cheek. "Bradley. Your name was Bradley." "That's why you kept on saying "Braddy" as a little boy, sweetie. You were at the age when you must have started talking, when all of this happened, " his mom said. "I'm gonna need some time with this. I don't know what to say or to think right now," Brady said quietly, facing the floor once more. He didn't know how to interact with these strangers. And even though this old lady must have held him, cared from him, even kissed him as a baby several times before the boat accident all those years ago, he didn't remember her. And if he didn't remember his own gran, how was he supposed to remember this twin brother? "Hey Romeo...you say we're twins but how come we don't look like each other?" He suddenly asked. Because if Romeo had been a carbon copy of himself he never would have been thinking all these...god helped him...incestual thoughts about him. It wasn't his fault that Romeo was so hot, was it? "Bro, its called being fraternal twins. Sometimes twins don't look alike. But if you're still not believing us, pull up your left sleeve. Left arm, dude. Go on." Still watching Romeo with a hawk eye and reached out his left arm and pulled up the sleeve of the shirt he was wearing. It was his birth mark, a small brown fleck, almost in the shape of a cloud. "Okay, so what now?" Romeo smiled and winked at him. He then too stretched out his left arm and rolled up his sleeve. Brady's eyes widened. Romeo's birth mark was EXACTLY the same as his. It even was positioned at the fucking exact same spot on his arm. No questiones asked. As much as he wanted to deny it, this boy he was picturing naked and hard before they had been introduced...was his blood brother. "Sweetie, we have been talking while you were out. I'm gonna be very weak after the brain operation. I know you can look after yourself but let's face it...Im worred. It's a dangerous and very complicated operation and I don't know in what state I'm gonna be in afterwards and for how long. That's why I sent the email to your grandmother in the first place. How do you feel about going back to South Africa with your brother and your grandmother? Just for a few weeks until I'm recovered?" "Mom!! They are strangers and you're just like, sending me away? Are you finally tired of me after stealing me from them all these years?" "Brady..." "Romeo, shut up! You don't know me! You think you do, but you don't! I ain't going any where with you. My home is here. Your ass and your grandmother's can fuck off back to South Africa where you belong because know what? I BELONG HERE!" Brady stormed out of the room and just kept on walking through the several corridors of the hospital. He was so freaked out he didn't know what to do or what to say. Fucking hell. Romeo and his gran didn't deserve that tantrum. He just couldn't take it anymore. There was a part of him that did that outburst for a whole different reason. He didn't wanna be anywhere near Romeo. He just lost the love of his life in James. And what do you know...along here came a totes hot guy with a friendly personality and his eyes...omg...and from the shirt he was wearing you could tell Romeo had a well drilled body, probably from gymming or playing sports. But they were RELATED...if he had to go away with Romeo to another country where they would most probably be alone a lot of the time...why was this happening? Why did he have these thoughts about his twin? This wasn't normal. Nothing about this was fucking normal. About an hour later he sat in the hospital's cafeteria drinking some coffee when he saw Romeo enter the room, looking around, searching. When he spotted his brother, he smiled as if in relief and walked over to Brady. "Can I sit down?" "Do you ever just ask a stranger if you can sit with them back home as well?" "Dude...this is real for me as well. Okay? Its not just you that's going through crap right now! My world has been torn apart too!" "My heart totally bleeds for you, but I didn't tell my mother to steal me from you guys!" "But she did! She did! And I'm angry as hell! I grew up thinking you died! I always wanted to have a brother to play with, to do things with like play rugby or soccer or even cricket..." "What the hell is cricket?" "Fokkit, ek gaan mal raak hier..." (Fuck, I'm going crazy here) Romeo scratched his head and looked his Brady, his whole demeanour changing. "Brady, please. Like it or not, we're twins. We were together as brothers once. Okay? We can't delete that. I really wanna get to know you. Please give us a chance and come back to South Africa with me? Only until your mom is better, no pressure. I'll be there all the way. Dude...come on...you're my bro..." Brady's heart tightened as he saw his fifteen year old brother break down. Tears rolled down Romeo's eyes and the boy angrily wiped it away. He didn't wanna cry but this situation made it impossible. And for the first time since he laid eyes on Romeo, he felt pity for he boy, other than sexual lust or sheer anger. He didn't think ONCE about how this news must have affected Romeo. How HIS world came crashing down, learning his twin brother was still alive after all these years. He had a twin. A brother. Would Romeo really be crying if he didn't have a good heart and good intentions? Brady took a deep breath. He had to say it. "There is something you should know, Romeo. Something that will maybe change your mind about me. And having to want me in your life." Romeo's eyes were red as he looked upwards at Brady. "You're gay. I know. So am I." If a fly was looking for an opening right then it would have been inside Brady's mouth. "How...?" "When I touched you earlier, when I had my arm around you, I saw how you looked at me. Its okay, you didn't know I was your brother. Get this... not even my grandmother knows about me being gay. That's how much I wanna get to know you. I have a fucking brother. Dude....let's do this. Come home with me." Romeo held out his hand towards Brady. Brady was deadly silent. Romeo thought them both being gay was okay because they were blood related. What Romeo just did...confessing to him that he was gay, something not even his gran knew...he didn't wanna have these feelings. Romeo must have had his faults, who hasn't? But in that moment, to Brady, he was perfect. Slowly, as if he was dreaming, he reached out his own hand and clutched Romeo's tightly. Once more, that warmth based emotions, that had nothing to do with brotherly love, spread through him like lava through ice. He could only nod at Romeo, who in turn had the biggest smile on his handsome face that he possibly could muster. Brady smiled nervously, Romeo immediately knew and squeezed his twin's hand tighter. He was going home. **** THANKS FOR READING!! How will Brady adapt in South Africa with meeting the rest of his biological family? And how will be manage to hide his growing feelings for Romeo??
