I could tell that right off," Sawyer told his brother. "So what! - You've been whackin off at the farm for too long. You have to gander at other things around you." "I took a gander, now I'm gonna split," said Sawyer. "When it comes to being in this joint, I'm beholden to no one except myself." "Hold on brother, you jump to conclusions before you even know what's happening. You are such a dingy, we just got here," complained Jesse. ****** "Why, it looks like Jesse. Are you in town to see me?" asked Fanny who managed her way through the drunks getting to the bar. I just happen to have time." "This is my brother Sawyer," said Jesse, ignoring her about having time. "My, does your ma have any more like him at home? My name is Fanny, and we met once before." She mumbled, like a trained actor. "Shore `nuff I remember seein you when I paid for Jesse's poker debt." "We can go sit at a table if you boys care to buy a lady a drink," said Fanny. Jesse motioned Floyd for a bottle of whisky and four glasses. They went to a vacant table by a railing leading to the upstairs. It was as private as one could get, and still be in a saloon. "What's with the four glasses?" Sawyer whispered to his brother. "Quiet." Another gal who called herself Crystal joined them. Jesse knew this would happen, that is why he asked for four glasses along with the bottle. He recognized a slut working the room, when he saw one. Crystal took a shine to Sawyer immediately. She giggled, and shoved into him slobbering and pushing her cleavage into his arm. He thought, "I hope this whore doesn't think I want to fuck her." Sawyer said very little barely talking, until she ran the back of her hand across his crotch impressed with the bump in his jeans. "Nah- nah, we ain't goin there," he said abruptly surprising Crystal with his comment. "What's wrong with your brother?" she said to Jesse. "Doesn't he like girls?" "He like's em fine, but he's engaged and getting married. He is in love and won't horse around with anybody." Jesse replied, telling the lie of the century. "I could change his mind about that," said Crystal who then tried to kiss him. When Sawyer pulled back away from Crystal, she slapped his face calling him a name nobody recognized. She walked away, knocking over a glass of whisky. "Sorry about that, Crystal gets what she wants," said Fanny. "Plum logical since Sawyer gets what he wants, and it's not Crystal," admitted Jesse. "I see that," replied Fanny. "Why don't you disappear for a while," she said to Sawyer. "Jesse and I want to discuss a little business." "I'm heading to the livery stable, catch you in a little bit," he said to Jesse and went outside. He didn't go anywhere, but sat in one of the chairs lining the wooden sidewalk, in front of the saloon, just thinking. A few minutes later, he looked thru the saloon doors. Jesse and Fanny were gone. He knew they were upstairs and Fanny was getting his brother's pecker. It was a silly notion, of course, yet he didn't like the idea of Fanny riding his brother. The painful realization for him was a `lack-luster' life of not having somebody of his own to love. Chad although perfect, perhaps would never return. However, Sawyer didn't whine about it. At the livery stable, Earl showed Sawyer where they could bunk for the night. Then he walked up Frontier Street, looking for a place to eat when he saw Jesse walking towards him. "Hi," Jesse mumbled. "Howdy, Yeow - what did it cost yuh?" asked Sawyer. "8.00 dollars for five minutes, but I got that out of my system. Brother Sawyer. I do not like fuckin whores. It was an awful used-up ride, with melting wet parts. The feeling was loose and stupid, but being in her hole got me off right away. You know it's something playin in yur head. "Nope, I don't know that at all. That shit ain't playin in my head. Just think, you spent $8.00 bucks to be number four in line. Dang, that is dumb, beyond dumb. That money could buy pa corn seeds. It's your money tho, spend it as you will." – "Okay, the preaching is over," said Sawyer. "I suppose." "You'll see!" "I suppose. - Yeah, no more preaching. I get it, I get it," confessed Jesse. "Am I a tighter fuck?" Sawyer asked. "Darn straight you are. I know where my pecker feels best, but I don't want to push it. Besides we ain't be doin that all the time," confessed Jesse sounding defeated. "C'mon, let's eat. I'll buy you a big steak," said Sawyer, happy to have Jesse away from Fanny. About now, your eight dollars is sweating between some big old tits. That's not preaching just commenting, sorry for talking that way." "You love me, don't you?" said Jesse, spitting out words he seldom used. "Always did," Sawyer replied! "Man, you're my brother. Besides who wouldn't love this," he whispered, pinching his turkey stuffed crotch. They stopped at `Kat's Saloon,' filled with old timers, no women, no piano or gambling. It was a saloon for sitting, jabbering, and drinking. The trip to town, for them, was graduation. They were men now, and discovered the good, the bad and dreadful people corroding the saloons. The difference between the Ranch Saloon and Kat's was like day and night. Their ma knew something that Jesse had to learn the expensive way. ****** They slept, that night, on their bedrolls cushioned by mounds of soft hay. In the morning, they met the first train from Houston. They were lucky having the bull calf arrive on that train. "Geeze, I wonder if pa knows the bull calf is a yearling?" complained Jesse, surprised by how young and small he was. "You can bet your britches, of course, he knows. Did you ever know pa to buy something without first asking a million questions?" "Nope, I never did." "There you go," replied Sawyer. It was barely four miles from the town's corral back to the Denton farm. Sawyer, a softie lover of animals, admired Ralph, the young bull, instantly. He spoke to Earl, the livery stable owner, and worked out a plan for Ralph. "Okay genius, what's the plan?" asked Jesse. Earl loaned Sawyer, a sturdy built wagon and 2 horses to pull it. Probably one horse would have been sufficient, but Earl insisted on using two, making the pulling easier. With the wagon planked with boards. Ralph now had an easy walk, into the wagon. "You set?" Jesse yelled out to his brother, after securing Ralph to the side of the wagon. "Let's get movin?" As they approached their farm, Ezra was waiting. He was excited as a child receiving a bicycle at Christmastime. "Look at `em – just look how sturdy he is coming from good stock. When he's full grown, some pussy-twitching heifer will be glad to see Ralph, with the balls on that bull. Jesse and Sawyer returned the wagon and team to Earl. Jesse cared about getting their mounts back. Everything worked out well. ****** Pa has his yearling bull; Jesse discovered that saloon whores were a sad investment, and Sawyer managed to hug a young bull. NOW, that's sayin something. "It is strange the way things turn out. At least I am not facing the unknown any longer," Jesse told his brother. "Are you talking about Fanny? Yeah, that is it - you are talking about her!" "She's a mattress dong her job and stuffing bills between her tits " It's a foolish way to make oneself miserable and paying $8.00 bucks to do it," claimed Jesse, making sense for the first time. It was not hard to figure out, Jesse, preferred fucking wranglers. "Let it go – we all have dreams. It just so happens, your Fanny dream was a nightmare," said Sawyer, happy the whore nonsense was over. "Dang, you are always there for me. What am I going to do with you?" Jesse whispered with his arm around Sawyers neck. "Anything you want to do," Sawyer replied, "anything you want...." ***** To be Continued...
