Marc knocked on the door Ken and Trevor's house. The moment Trveor's eye peered through the crack; Marc threw it open and stormed in. The bullman jumped back startled. "Where's the fire?" Trevor asked, before closing the door. "Is Ken here?" escaped Marc as he headed toward the bullman's room. "Yeah, I'm here!" Ken said rushing out of his room; shutting the door before Marc could see inside. "Oh, thank god!" Marc said, gripping Ken's arms and breathing a sigh of relief. "You're okay." "Why wouldn't I be?" Ken asked. Marc threw his arms around Ken, wrapping the other male in a tight embrace. "I was—forget it." He kissed the side of Ken's face. He stepped away composing himself, "Look there's something I have to tell you, actually both of you." He looked to Trevor. "Well, what is it?" Trevor asked crossing his arms. Taking a deep breath Marc began to speak, "It's about Isabella." "What about me?" A sweet voice cut the air, as the redhead stepped out of Ken's room, she tossed her hair smiling and taking in the scenery. Marc's blood grew cold. He opened his mouth to continue but the words crawled up his spine and settled in his throat. They too were afraid. He stepped to the side, fists forming balls, he knew he couldn't take her—could he trust the bullmen to take his side and not defend her? Marc opened his mouth again, forcing the words out, "What are you doing here... Isabella?" "Ken invited me." She smiled and crossed her arms behind her; her chest pushing out wasn't lost on Marc. "This oughta be good," Trevor said. Ken waved his arms, "It- it's not what you're thinking. I promise, Marc. I promise. I was just... I was just telling her about what we talked about. That I need time and stuff." "What?" Marc eyes searched theirs—why was Ken behaving like this? He noticed the slight smirk on Isabella's lips and Trevor's absolute delight. They thought he was jealous. Maybe this wasn't so bad? Maybe it could cover his sheer terror as to what she was up to. "Did you want to say something to me Marc?" Isabella asked. Her perfume hung thick in the atmosphere like glaze on a donut, he could almost taste its sweetness on his tongue. He almost forgot why he had come there. "No, actually I wanted to talk to Ken about what I said. I basically told him I was jealous of you and I don't think that was fair to you." "Marc you're the most understanding ex ever. I told Ken that usually exes aren't this great and that he should what you're doing more." She wrapped her arms around Ken's muscular left arm. Marc locked eyes with Isabella. He couldn't tell what she was thinking. Was she already onto him? "Yep, that's me. Cool, understanding, intelligent and a whole thesaurus of Marc." "Cool? You're sweating." Trevor said driving a finger up the back of Marc's neck. The black teen jerked away, putting a hand on his neck. "You okay Marc? You seem on edge?" Trevor asked, voice full of concern. Marc just needed to think, but he couldn't; all he could think about was Isabella's fucking perfume. The smell was even stronger than before. It was like he was barely hanging onto his sanity. He hoped he wasn't developing an allergy. Ken stepped up to Marc, placing a hand on his forehead, "You feel fine." "I am." Marc took a few seconds to think about what to say. "Heather wanted to talk to you to as well and I know she's just going to say something about me behind my back." "Sounds like her!" Trevor chuckled. "Let's go see her then," Ken headed towards the door, Isabella still clinging to him, pulled away. I think I'm going to head back to my home. "Come see me when you're done." She walked away, blowing a kiss. Marc rolled his eyes, weren't those two supposed to be on a break? He shook his head. He couldn't get distracted by jealousy now. He started walking toward the mansion with Trevor and Ken behind him. They tried to start a conversation with him, but he kept his mouth shut. Cowmen had better hearing than humans and he didn't want Isabella to hear a thing. He was sure the moment he could, he'd tell them all about her. The three walked into the main hall of the mansion where, Heather, Brett and Ayden where waiting. Heather had the lockbox in hand while Ayden was going through one of the packets of paper. Brett walked up to them, "Answer if you guys have heard this one `3 hot guys walk into a room with a horny Horseman.'" "Then they fuck him senseless?" Trevor arched and eyebrow. "You know guys a four way with him means we could share a bottom?" "Sounds hot," Ken said. "You guys are pretty tame considering what you just learned," Heather killed the conversation. Trevor and Marc looked at her confused then to Marc. "I didn't get a chance to tell them. She was there." Marc stated. Heather lost her composure, "Oh my god Marc, that's why you shouldn't have rushed off! What if she had hurt you before you could say anything?" "Wait, is this about Isabella," Ken studied Marc and Heather face. It clearly was. He turned to Trevor, who just shrugged he was also out of the loop. Marc faced his two charges, "I think she works for Milkem, probably along with Javier and Weston and that she's been supplying them with our milk." Trevor crossed his arms, "That's a pretty big accusation Marc. A few minutes you said you were jealous and now you're accusing her. If you want to freak out feel free, but don't make stuff up." Ken's face deflated as he took on the appearance of a kicked puppy. "Are you that upset Marc? I told you we weren't doing anything in my room, but to say this is— "Will you two just shut up and look at this," Heather shoved the packet that had listed information of everyone living on the farm." Snatching the paper Ken stared at it, "Where did you even get this?" Trevor swiped it from his hands to get a look. He flipped through taking in the notes that were written down. "Milkem." Trevor looked up, "Wait you went back? Without me." "It was only to get information." Marc retorted. Ken stepped up to Marc, "About Isabella? Were you lying when you said you wanted me to choose for myself? Because this seems pretty convenient." "No. I didn't even know I'd find this. I went looking for information about Trevor's parents." Marc stood his ground. "But without me?" This time Trevor also stepped up to Marc. Marc's nose told him he was rolling around in a forest somewhere. The bullmen's pheromones dominated the atmosphere. Marc took a step back, his leg wobbled. Ken and Trevor stepped forward eyes glowing. They had questions and Marc was going to answer. "Well?" Trevor asked moving forward folding his arms. "You two have got to calm down." Brett placed a hand on his chest. Ayden moved in step to block the advancing Ken. The two Bullmen looked at each and gasped at the faint glow in their eyes. Ayden encouraged them, "Breathe. Remember how we trained and worked out. Breathe through it." They did as Ayden instructed till the faint glows disappeared. "I still don't understand—" Ken started to say, before Heather silenced him. "Well, maybe shut up and listen. The two of you know next to nothing and accuse Marc. Who, might I add, has been your biggest supporter since day what?" she looked Brett to finish. "I don't know? When did they meet?" he shrugged. "One. She meant day number one," Ayden sighed. "Oh. That makes more sense," Brett chuckled. "Yeah, Marc, do your thing," Heather said. Marc looked at everyone, "Yeah the paper is suspicious, but that isn't what makes me feel cautious around her. In fact, it was something Isabella did." "Okay what did she do?" Trevor asked. "I caught her stealing milk." "But other Cowmen do that too." Ken defended. Marc laughed, "You know I kinda blame myself. Had I allowed myself to think it through I would have seen how strange it was." Everyone seemed confused by his statement. "Ken, Trevor, it was your milk she was stealing, the same night Javier and Weston did." "Our milk, Why?" Trevor asked. "Come on, what other reason would she have to take your milk?" "Because we're both Bullmen." Ken answered. "Hold on, how did she know I was a Bullman? I never told her," Trevor stated. A nod was the only thing Marc provided. "Before I answer that. Did either of you tell her she could have your milk?" "No." The Bullmen said in unison. "So that was a lie, she told me," Marc stated. He opened his next question to everyone, "Did anyone here mention Trevor was a Bullman to her, even briefly or in passing?" Everyone shook their heads. "And I doubt, Xander, Dru, Sheila, or my uncle told her," Marc said. "So, that settles it." "Settles what?" "Isabella chose to take both your milk, but why take your milk specifically? She probably knew you were Bullmen." Marc pointed to the packet in Trevor's hand, "And that's probably why, or even Javier or Weston told her. And if she's working for or with them, she probably knows where Dru and Sheila are." "Why would she know?" Ayden asked. "Dru and Sheila were supposed to go meet Weston and Javier for a Milkem tour today. Those two are—" He caught himself looking at Brett and Ayden. They didn't know those two thieves had been devoured by the Bullmen in this room. "They've been absent from work. They weren't supposed to tell anybody. Luckily Deborah overheard them." Heather gave a sly thumbs up signaling `nice save.' Both Ken and Trevor absorbed this knew information. "So, what now?" Ken asked, "How do we get her to tell us what she knows?" "First, we get my uncle. Brett I'll leave that to you. You can search the farm faster than any of us. Ayden I need you to bring her here." "Me? Not Ken?" "I'm going to need Ken and Trevor somewhere else." "And me?" Heather raised her hand. She handed the lockbox to Brett to give to Uncle T. "You're with me of course!" Marc smiled. He clasped his hands, eyes beaming, "Come on everyone, let's get ready for an intervention." 20 mins later Ayden, lead Isabella to the dining room, the smile on her face dropped as she entered. Uncle T, Heather, and Marc were sitting down looking at her. Marc hands were joined together on the table as the lockbox sat in front of him. "Hi guys, where's Ken?" She asked. "Please, join us Isabella," Uncle T commanded. The girl glanced around as Ayden stood beside the door frame. She made her way over to the table sitting. "We know Isabella." Marc's voice was cold and firm. He couldn't show the slightest bit of uncertainty. She had to believe she was cornered, that her pretending was up. "Know what?" Isabella asked innocently. "Are you really trying to sell BS to us? Much less cowmen specialist, Farmer Tyrone?" Heather asked incredulously. Isabella let out a long sigh. Her happy demeanor faded as her eyes hardened. She could send a burning glaze right back. "How much do you know?" She wasn't scared or nervous at all, rather her voice seemed tired. "We know you were stealing milk. Marc slid the lock box to her across the table. She caught it and looked inside, skimming through the pages. She smiled scanning the packets then threw the paper back in the box. She chuckled "You guys don't know anything." She flung her head behind her like a fiery halo, she moved to the door where Ayden now blocked her path. "I could break you." Marc believed her. There was something about how confidently she said the words. Ayden was one of the strongest cowmen he knew, only the bullmen gave him trouble and even them he gave a good fight. That's when Ken and Trevor appeared behind him arms crossed. "How about you say that to us?" Trevor smirked. "I know Marc would never lie to me, but even still I didn't want to believe it." Ken shook his head. "You said otherwise a half hour ago," Heather grumbled under her breath and rolled her eyes. Marc smirked. Isabella's eyes flew to the kitchen. There was no way should make it there. Not only was she outnumber, she was out classed. She slunk back over to the table and pulled the chair out. Her hair spilled over her face as she hunched over. "This is why I didn't want to get involved. This is why I ran away." Uncle T got up, held his hands behind his back and walked over to her. He placed his hands on her shoulders, "Are you talking about Milkem?" She nodded her head as tears began to fall down her face. "So, you do work for them?" Marc asked. "I don't work for them. I belong to them." "What do you mean you can't belong to them?" Marc asked. She rolled her eyes, "I do. Because I was born there. Not at that new site you're all thinking about, but at one of their farms. Milkem partners with farms so their `assets' can be raised there. The company's actual facilities are only for breeding and milking. That's where I came from. My parents bred at one of those facilities then were shipped off to a farm when they were pregnant with me." "Please continue? I think there's more than you're telling us." Uncle T's voice was soft, but he wasn't going to drop his inquiry. "Bullmen are the most valuable asset now. It's the next phase of Milkem's plan." Heather nodded, "We know. They're going to be launching Bullmen milk as a new product." "If they have their own Bullmen milk, why steal Ken and Trevor's?" Marc asked. Isabella wiped her eyes, "I don't know, to test how good it is? Wait, Trevor's a Bullman?" "As if you didn't know," Trevor said flatly. "I honestly didn't!" She held up her hands. "Javier and Weston found me here. They weren't even looking for me, just here for the milk, so it was my bad luck. They told me to help them start taking milk or they'd take me back." "And you agreed?" Uncle T said hurt. "It's milk. I thought it was harmless." She put her legs together, "And if it's Milkem They'd get what they want eventually." "I have a better question," Trevor interrupted. "How did Milkem even discover that Ken and I were Bullmen?" Isabella shook her head. "I don't know. But Like I said, Bullmen are an asset to them. Knowing about the competition is important to them. That's why they're testing the other Cowmen milk as well." Marc spoke, "Makes sense, Princeton told me they were stealing milk on his farm. Though I don't think he mentioned his milk being stolen." "Isabella, what do you know about Milkem being on the Howard Farm, is that true? Was Princeton framed?" Uncle T asked. "I don't know." "Princeton told me he once overheard, `Bullmen births can be ensured' Any idea what that meant?" Isabella nodded, before whispering, "I'm one." "You're one what?" Ayden said stepping back. Her eyes grew glossy as big tears formed and slid down her cheeks. She nodded at Trevor and Ken, "One of them." "What? Is that— Uncle T? Is that possible?" Marc asked, rising from his seat. "You're looking at me, aren't you?" She quipped. "Those scientists at Milkem are... are something else, " Uncle T remarked. "A female bullman." The room went silent as everyone looked at each other. The emotions were mixed, fear, intrigue, confusion, and hurt, What the hell was she talking about? That was the question everyone was thinking. "You're a female Bullman?" Uncle T asked, as if to be absolutely certain. "Not officially because Bullmen are only men, but I have most of the same benefits that they do." She looked at Ken and Trevor. "Your perfume." Marc stated. "I thought it was weird that only the humans around me seemed to smell it. And even back at Ken and Trevor's house you used it. Were you trying to get me to have sex with you?" "No, back there I saw you were stressed so I tried to calm you down. Our scents don't have to just make people horny or afraid you know?" Marc didn't know. In fact, he felt awfully informed. He probably only knew the bare minimum of what Bullmen could really do. "How do you know all this? Who taught you?" "Milkem did. I mean after I had my shift, they couldn't wait to tell me." "And how did they know all that?" Marc pressed on. "Isn't it obvious? From studying Bullmen." Isabella stated. "Bullmen like Princeton?" Uncle T asked. "Bullmen like us." Trevor looked to Ken. "I-I guess that is true, but I meant from the Bullmen they already had. Like I said I'm an attempt at making a female Bullmen, but I'm not the only thing they attempted. There are others out there. Older than me, younger than me. I'm a few years older than Ken and Trevor, but Milkem probably have some their ages too." "Why the need for so many?" Heather asked. Isabella sat up against the chair, "Princeton, Ken, and Trevor all pretty remarkable right? They can make milk all year. Even I can't do that. Most Bullmen can't. I'm sure Milkem wants to make Bullmen like that... and maybe that's why they wanted your milk. I just realized it." "You just realized it?" Everyone's head turned to Ken. Marc was shocked to realize Ken hadn't talked the entire time. The bullman's words were venomous, dripping with disdain and hate. "Yes, I'm certain," she whispered, tears flowing down her face. "Are you sure that isn't another lie?" His eyes were glowing. "You came here to use me." "Ken it wasn't like that," Isabella pleaded. "Ken calm down," Trevor placed a hand on his chest. Ken smacked it off, "Don't tell me to calm down." He pointed at Isabella, "She used me, violated my trust." "Yeah, yeah" Trevor rolled his head. When he opened his eyes, they were glowing. Marc took a step back this was going to be bad. "You're mad because now you don't have a substitute for Marc who you can use to hide your feelings." "Me, hiding my feelings? You're one to talk, did you or did you not manipulate Marc and me into having sex with you, so you didn't have to talk about your dad?" Trevor's face went cold as the palm on Ken's chest turned into a fist. Ken wasn't in the mood to back down and squared up his chest. Luckily before any punches could be thrown, Marc came in between them pushing both boys back. "We get it you're both super scary Bullmen but now is not the time. Dru and Sheila are still missing!" "You could put up a missing poster at school and around town. On the community board or something. I know it's summer school, but someone's had to have seen them," Heather stated. With his hands still on the Bullmen's chest Marc felt Trevor sigh. "There's no need for that. We already know they're at Milkem. We just don't have the answers, meaning the only thing we can do is rely on those people with the answers." "Trevor you can't mean," Ken stated. "I'm a little lost, what are you saying?" Ayden spoke for the rest of the group. "I'm going to give Mr. Karter what he wants. I'm going in." Trevor said. Heather held up a hand, "Hold up! Just because we know he wants to your milk doesn't necessarily mean he wants you, or that you'd even be valuable to him." Trevor shrug, "I guess we gotta hope that I'm enough." "I reject that idea," Uncle T spat, making all the young heads turn. "This situation is more complex than I ever knew. Milkem isn't simply a company trying to steal secrets; It's a breeding ground. Simply waltzing in there would be foolish. Especially without a plan." Nodding his head, Trevor agreed, "I can see why you feel that way Farmer Tyrone, but I'm going either way." "While you live on my farm and under my roof. You will not." Uncle Tyrone's voice was stern and commanding, but Trevor didn't flinch an inch. "Then I guess I'll be sleeping in the woods for a while." "Dude don't even joke like that, what if a wolfman comes by and tries to eat you?" Brett stated. Before Trevor could give a smartass response, Marc pulled him off to the side. "I know why you're doing this." "To find out what happened to Dru and Sheila," Trevor said. "I'm talking about your parents. You want to confront Mr. Karter again." Marc placed a hand on Trevor's arm. "There's no guarantee he'll tell you." "I have to try," Trevor stated, his voice low. "Even if I have to do it by myself." "Luckily, you won't have to," Ken sauntered over to them proudly. "I'm going with you. There's no way you can be alone." "Thank you, but no Ken." Trevor smiled, while Ken's dropped. "In case something does happen to me and I go `missing' to I want to know someone is looking after Marc." Ken's face was conflicted, "But leaving you to go in there alone." He didn't want Trevor to leave, but leaving Marc was also not ideal. He crossed his arms pouting and defeated. "Fine." The boys walked back into the dining room where everyone is waiting. "Uncle T is there any way you can take Isabella to the police and have her confess everything she told us?" Uncle T sighed, "That's not the issue, the problem is she's making some hefty allegations against a major corporation. Even if she is a strong witness, she also only confessed after we caught her wrapped up in this. Anyone would argue she's lying to protect herself." His eyes flew over to Isabella. She looked away before stating, "That doesn't make what I'm saying invaluable. You just need more proof." Marc's head perked up, "What if we did? What if we could get Mr. Karter admitting it?" Brent, who had been patiently standing beside Heather throughout this ordeal spoke up. "Look I may not know what's going on, but even I can tell you that's not going to happen. Mr. Karter isn't the sort of guy who just slips up." "You're right, that's why..." He took a long pause still mulling over his next phrase, "I think we should send Trevor in. Dangle something, he wants. He might bite." "And what if he doesn't?" Heather asked "Then we lick our wounds and come up with a new plan," Marc said. "Marc, clearly you didn't hear me before. I'm not sending Trevor into that place alone." Uncle T repeated. "I know and he won't be alone, but he'll appear to be." Not giving anyone the chance to ask him to clarify Marc went on. "Uncle T you once told me how you worked with the police to save Ken and Trevor. You talked about using body cams. If we can watch from here and record everything Mr. Karter says we might get what we need." "That seems like a risky plan," Ayden said. "Without such a risky plan, we're not going to be able to catch him at all." Marc replied. "The plan doesn't matter because we're not doing it." Uncle T put his hands together resting is elbows on the table. Marc rolled his eyes, "Look guys we can continue arguing, pretending like Trevor isn't going to sneak off the first chance he gets— "It's true." Trevor nodded "Or we can actually make a move to find Dru and Sheila." Marc eyes scanned the room. There was a silent agreement as people exchanged glances. Though all eyes soon fell to uncle T, who held the final say so. "Okay we'll do it," Uncle T said, then held up a finger. "But we do it exactly as I say." Uncle T began prepping Trevor on what to say and do when he entered the Milkem facility. "What am I supposed to do?" Isabella raised her hand. "You're going to sit there, until we tell you so. You're not leaving our sight." Ken said his face a full scowl. Marc rested a hand on Ken's shoulder. Marc didn't feel bad for Isabella per se, but if her story was true didn't sound like she had much of a choice. Though that was as far as Marc would give her, he didn't want to see Ken get worked up over a girl who wasn't worth it. When the time came, Uncle T retrieved a necklace and put it on Trevor. It took Marc a moment, but he soon understood. The camera was the necklace. It would be hidden in plain sight. Trevor put it on, and it fell on top of his shirt, snug, in-between the valley of his pecs. The plan was simple. Uncle T would drive close to Milkem, but far off enough no one would spot his car. The teens would wait at the house and watch the camera's footage as it recorded what Trevor saw and heard. When Trevor was done, he'd walk back to the car. They started up the camera as Trevor, and uncle T left. Marc, Heather, Brett and Ayden were huddled around the computer while Isabella was situated off to the side. Ken stood by the doorway, back leaned against the wall making sure she knew she wasn't getting by. Uncle T dropped Trevor off and the teens watched he made his way to Milkem. Uncle T video called Marc and asked to be shown the feedback.
