Thinking about Derek and what happen early. Feeling happiness in his heart and soul, something he wasn't expecting. He thought it would have been a miserable day fill with sadness and depression. Snapping out of his daydream, Nate saw everyone was leaving the train. He looked up at the display and realized he was home. Nate got up and left the train station to head home. He didn't want to speak to anyone about his day, not to his mother or his father. Just thinking how his father didn't speak to him about colony projects made him grind his teeth. Reaching the front door of his home, he stopped and looked at the door and took a deep breath. Nate shut his headphones off on the com pad and hoped no one was home. He waved his com pad in front of the door to unlock it. The door opened and he stepped through. He saw his mom sitting on the couch, watching her shows on the display. Nate tried to tip-toe across the room to avoid his mother. He knows his mother very well. She would want to ask him how his day was... something Nate wanted to avoid. He wanted to take a lie down for a bit before supper. "Where do you think you are going, Nathan Blair?" Nate knows if his mother used his full name, he was in trouble. Nate looked at the ceiling and hoped his mother kept it simple. "Mom, I just want to lie down before supper... OKAY?" Nate told his mom that he didn't want to talk. "We need to talk NOW." Beth paused to let Nate turn around and look at her eyes. Nate didn't want to turn around. He was feeling so good and happy now. Nate had a sick feeling in his stomach. He knew if he turned around, his mom would ask questions or lecture him. Being brave, Nate walked to his bedroom and prayed to the gods that his mom didn't follow him. Nate dropped his book bag next to the dresser and lay on the bed. Seeing a shadow on his wall, he knew his mom was in the room with him. He knew his mom isn't going to let this go. "What is with you?" His mom asked in disbelief, Nate never walked away from her before. "Mom, I just don't want to talk about today." Nate rolled over facing the wall. "I don't care about the fight or the mess you guys made." She paused, sat on the bed and spoken softly, "What's the boy's name?" "Derek." Nate shifted around, feeling uncomfortable about letting his mom inside his world. He kept everyone out for so long, now it was uncomfortable for him to let anyone near him. "Nice name, is he a nice boy?" Beth asked, trying to find the right words to say to her son, knowing he was uncomfortable. Nate shrugs his shoulders, and took a deep breath. He rolled over to meet his mom eyes. "I've invited him to the party tomorrow," Nate said, hoping his mom would approve. Beth thought about it for a second and nodded her approval to Nate. Beth got up and left the bedroom, leaving Nate alone. He rolled over to the wall and started to think about the day. Slowly his eyes got heavy and his breathing slowed down. "NO you can't have a boyfriend! You can't have love. You're not allowed to!" Came screaming into Nate's ears. He couldn't even speak since he didn't have a mouth to speak for himself. All he could do was cry. He couldn't even wipe his eyes because he was tied to a chair. All he could do was cry. Unable to move, a deep feeling of uselessness overwhelmed him. Nate jumped up from his bed, sweat pouring from his forehead. He looked around and realized it was a dream, but it felt so real. Still shaking from the dream, Nate got up and went to the bathroom to wash the sweat off his face. He noticed it was about supper time, took one long look at himself in the mirror and walked out of the bathroom. He changed his shirt, since the one he was wearing was soaked with sweat. As Nate left his bedroom, he heard his mom talking to his father. Nate couldn't hear what they were talking about. Once he entered the dining room, they became quiet, as they knew he was coming. Supper was quiet and uneventful, nothing much was said. Nate wanted to keep it like that, no one asking questions. After supper Nate didn't feel like hanging out with his parents. He went into his bedroom and lay down on the bed, passing out. "Nate, it's time to wake up, dear." Nate rolled over and replied to his mom, letting her know he was up. Nate looked at the clock and saw it was just past 8am on Saturday morning. Nate was wishing he could sleep in, but he knew he had to help with the party setup. Moving the covers off his body, he stood up and took a long, hard stretch. He looked in the mirror, saw his lithe body and scratched his groin. He felt the need to drain his bladder. He slowly walked to the bathroom and saw the sunrise had come and passed. === He exited the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist, dripping water from his awakened body. He wiped the mirror clean, removing the stream from the hot shower. Nate spiked his short hair, cleaned his teeth and applied deodorant. Feeling fresh and alive now, Nate left the bathroom and searched for decent clothes for the party this afternoon. He decided to wear tight dark blue jeans, a plain white t-shirt with a black logo on the front and pair of clean white tennis shoes. With one more look in the mirror, Nate was pleased with how he looked and hoped it would be good enough for Derek. He took a deep breath of fresh air and walked out of the bedroom and had some breakfast. === "Put that table over there, dear," Beth was telling Nate. They setup up for the party in the garden on top of their building. For the last two hours, Nate had been helping his mom and dad set up. Nate looked around and saw the snack bar and drinks were set up. The chairs were against the walls and ready to be used if needed. Nate walked over to the glass railing and took a moment to soak in the view. The city was busy with activity. Nate looked down and saw vehicles flying around and crowds of people walking on the streets. Slowly he looked up and saw buildings miles away. Not looking at anything in particular, he was just daydreaming about what could happen at the party. He felt hopeful about today. A loud bang snapped Nate from his daydream and he looked over and saw his mom had dropped a bottle of wine on the ground. Nate turned slowly to look over the city when he saw a partly opened door. Curiosity what it was, he walked over and open the door. Nate saw a pool table, benches and a balcony with a perfect view of the city. Thinking this could be the perfect place for his friends to hang out, Nate turned around and asked his mom about it. "Don't know honey," Beth answered, while she picked up the glass from the floor. "I think we can use it," She finally answered. Nate smiled at his mom and helped her clean up the mess. Beth looked at her son and told him to go to the apartment and clean up before the guests arrive. Nate returned to the garden after cleaning up for the second time. He saw a few people had arrived already. He walked over to his mom and joined the conversation. After an hour, Nate was feeling lonely. A lot of people had come to the party, yet none of his friends had shown up. Sitting down by the door, waiting for his friends, his uncle came over and sat down beside him. "Lonely?" "I guess." "Who is coming over?" Uncle Andy asked. "Thomas and his girlfriend and Tim and June." He paused. "And Derek." Nate's voice perked up, a smile broke on his gloomy face. He looked up at his uncle, not sure if his uncle knew he had a boyfriend. He dared to think, nothing had really been said about whether they were dating. Nate didn't want to jump the gun. "Who's Derek?" Nate thought for a moment, trying to best fit his relationship with Derek. "Well, I don't know, Uncle Andy, we ummm kissed, but I`m not sure. Would he be called a boyfriend?" Uncle Andy turned his head and thought for a few seconds. He looked at Nate and smiled. "No, it's too soon, but `dating' fits." Nate just nodded in acknowledgement and looked at the door to see if anyone was coming in. Feeling disappointed, Nate leaned forward to rest his head on his hands. Nate felt his uncle's hand rubbing his back, it really made Nate feel good. Only his uncle gave him a hug or close contact. His dad never gave him hugs or any close contact. Sometimes, when Thomas gave Nate a hug, it was uncomfortable for him; Thomas felt it was wrong to hug a guy. "They will be here. Remember, Thomas and Tim are coming with the girls. They could be fashionably late." Nate looked at his uncle and knew his was right. Nate heard the door open and he looked over and saw Thomas, Jen, Tim and June entering the garden area. Nate got up and greeted them. Nate motioned everyone to the private balcony area. Nate walked past his uncle and said thank you. Entering the private balcony, Nate pulled Thomas off to the side. "What took you so long?" "Jen, she couldn't get her hair perfect so we HAD to wait." Thomas paused, "AND wait." Nate couldn't help but smile, knowing that ladies like to take their time getting ready. "You should stick with guys, we are simple beings," Nate joked. "I should, shouldn't I?" Thomas laughed and wrapped his arm around Nate's shoulder as they walked to the group. "Besides, I kind of wanted to let you and Derek have some time together," Thomas scanned the area, looking for Derek. Nate slowed down and looked at Thomas. "He's not here... yet" A thought popped into his head, his heart dropped thinking Derek might have stood him up. "Maybe he changed his mind." Nate looked at the floor. "He's just late, Nate." Thomas didn't want Nate to be upset, even if it could be true. Thomas franticly tried to think a way to pickup Nate's sprits and keep his mind off Derek. "Pool table! So cool, I never learned to play." "Does anyone know how to play this game?" Thomas asked everyone, No one said anything. They looked at each other, lost for words. "We can figure it out." Thomas and Nate talked about it and remembered they watched an old movie about pool. Nate passed the triangle and Thomas put the balls into it. Not in the correct order, but they knew the 8 ball went in the center. Thomas moved around the front with his pool cue and winked at Jen. He aimed, pulled his cue back and hit the cue ball as hard as he could. Not being a regular pool player, Thomas hit the side of the ball, missing the rack of balls and hitting the bank, which made it bounce and jump off the table, crashing onto the floor. Tim and Nate were laughing their butts off and tears were forming in their eyes. Jen and June giggled as Thomas' face turned red. Thomas chased the ball around the floor trying to get a hold of it, but his palm was wet from sweat. Thomas mange to corner the ball, pick it up and slammed it down on the table. "YOUR TURN," Thomas said loudly. Nate just giggled and walked up to the table, bent over, aimed his cue and used less power to hit the cue ball. Nate watched the ball roll down the table and hit the rack of balls and sank three of them. Nate heard Thomas say, "Damn." Nate looked away and smiled to himself. The group of friends played a few games and enjoyed each others' company, making Nate forget that Derek hadn't shown up at the party yet. Sitting down on his chair waiting for his turn, Thomas could sense Nate was thinking about Derek and why he hadn't shown up. Thomas walked over and asked Nate to get everyone a drink. Nate nodded and went out to the get the gang some drinks and some snacks. Nate looked over the table and saw a couple drinks of juice and water, but mostly it was wine and beer bottles. He grabbed what he could and started to head to the balcony area. Nate felt a hand rest on his left shoulder and he stopped. He turned his head and saw his father. His dad lifted up two cases of beer and handed them to Nate. Nate looked at his father and couldn't believe it. "It's okay son, this is last time you're going to have fun with your friends." Dan winked at his son. Nate smiled at him for the first time since Thursday morning. Nate quickly walked to the balcony and showed what his dad gave him. Everyone was shocked, but never questioned it. Everyone opened the bottles, clicked them together and enjoyed their first beer. "YUCK...." Thomas, Jen, June and Nate said as one. Everyone looked at each other and laughed for saying the same thing. "Maybe after the first beer it will get better," Thomas said, and took another drink of the beer. The group followed Thomas' example, Tim and Thomas played a game of pool. Nate sat with the girls and chatted about boys at school. Thomas was bending over to aim his cue at the cue ball when Jen bent over and pinched him just under his nut sack. Thomas jerked up and turned around and looked at Nate. Nate looked back and smiled and jerked his head to Jen. Jen had an evil grin on her face, knowing she was betrayed and thinking of a way to get Nate back. Nate was beginning to get worried about Derek, feeling that maybe Derek stood him up. A lonely feeling and coldness crept over his heart and created a bubble, shielding his soul. He sat there as the girls took turns trying to beat the boys. Nate looked past them and past the railings, into the city. "Nate?" Snapping his day dream, Nate looked over to the door and saw his mom standing there. Nate walked up to his mom not knowing what she wanted. "Someone's at the door, I think it's for you," Beth said very softly. Nate looked at her and it took a second to process the message. He looked toward the main doors, but didn't see anyone there. Nate walked up and still didn't see anyone. Closer and closer he got, his heart started to pump harder and heavier and there he was. Looking at the crowd, but not trying to stare at them. He was wearing faded blue jeans and blue button-down shirt and spiked hair. Nate walked slowly to Derek, trying to not be too excited, but he wanted to run and tackle him on the floor, right there. Derek looked over toward Nate and a smile broke onto his face. Derek's eyes were full of hope... and something else. Nate didn't know what it was, but something was there. Nate stopped in front of Derek, not even a foot between each other. Nothing was said they just looked into each others' eyes, they smiled. Not breaking their focus, they didn't see that everyone was looking at them. Nothing was said, even Thomas, Jen, June and Tim stayed at the balcony doorway. All was silent. Nate felt a hand resting on his right shoulder and saw another one on Derek's shoulder. Both of them broke their trance and looked up to see Uncle Andy looking at them with a smile of his face. "Nate, if you want to kiss him, then kiss him. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! Okay, son?" Uncle Andy whispered in Nate's ear, not allowing Derek to hear what he was saying. Uncle Andy pushed Nate and Derek closer to each other. Nate saw Derek close his eyes and he followed Derek, their lips found each other and the sparks had returned. The electric buzzing came back to his lips. Nate wanted it last forever, to savoir the moment but it was short lived. As Derek pulled back, Nate opened his eyes and smiled at him. Uncle Andy slapped both boys on their backs. "That's how you greet your date!" he laughed and left them alone. Nate looked to the side and saw his father take a hold of Uncle Andy's arm and pulled him off to the side. Nate thought about it for a second, but Derek asked Nate a question. "Where do we go?" Derek asked Nate, breaking his thought. "Back here." Nate grabbed Derek's hand and nearly dragged him to the private balcony area. Derek looked around and saw Nate's other friends were there. Nate asked Derek if he wanted a beer. Derek shook his head no. Nate went out to the main area and grabbed a few drinks for Derek and himself. Nate saw his dad talking aggressively to his uncle. Nate was wondering why his father was being a prick to his only uncle. He looked at his mom and she looked away, he had a feeling that his mother knows something, but was trying to hide it. Unable to get any answers, Nate went back to the balcony area. Nate and Derek played few games with Thomas and Jen and took turns losing and winning. Nate put the pool cue down and walked over to the railing. The clouds rolled into the city and he couldn't see the city below. A few towers had pierced through the clouds, the sun was about to set, creating a soft orange effect. The clouds slowly moved as the earth stood still. Nate sighed and looked at the peacefulness, almost like heavenliness. There was no sound or wind. It was beautiful enough for Nate to develop a tear in his left eye. Lost in his thoughts, he didn't even notice Derek was beside him, looking at the clouds with him. Nate looked over and saw Derek taken away by the sheer beauty in front of him. Nate moved closer and put his hand on Derek's shoulder. They stood together in closeness, hips touching. They looked at the beauty of the sky view. It felt as if only a minute has passed, but it was an hour they stood there in silence. It was Thomas who broke their daydream, asking them to join them in a game. Nate smiled at Thomas. They walked over to the pool table and played a few rounds. They noticed it was getting dark and visibility was diminishing. Nate looked around and found a light switch. He flipped the switch and saw lights above light up, creating star-like illumination above their heads. Nate's breath was taken from him, it was beautiful. He looked at Derek and smiled at him. Derek walked over to him and held Nate's hand. Nate slowly moved closer to Derek and rested his head on Derek shoulder. June found a music center and put a romantic song on. Derek and Nate danced, not focusing on the dance, just what they felt like doing. Nate looked over Derek shoulders and saw Thomas and Jen doing a slow dance, too. Nate smiled to himself, watching Thomas being a man in his relationship. He knew that Thomas was taken and he would never have him, giving him the feeling of forbidden fruit. Then he realized he had someone holding him. Nate pulled away to look into Derek's eyes. Not saying a word, Derek leaned forward and gave him a soft kiss on his lips. With a feeling that someone cared for him, too, Nate rested his head on Derek's shoulder. He saw that Thomas just got his kiss too; his eyes were closed. Nate wanted to kiss him so badly months ago, but now, Nate felt that his feelings toward Thomas were starting to fade away. Nate felt unsure about this passing of the crush he had for years. It was almost like a death to him, a sense of moving on. Nate had a tear in his eye and hugged Derek closer to him. After the song died and some early 2100 music came on, Derek broke the dance and took Nate's hand. He took him around the corner, where he had explored earlier and found a bench in a corner... where no one could see them. Derek wanted some personal time with Nate. It was getting late and he wanted to spend some time alone with him. Derek sat down and patted the bench for Nate to sit next to him. "I really liked that dance, Derek." Nate blushed. "I know, Nate," Derek paused to look into his eyes, he felt something strong. Maybe it was the moment; maybe the world decided to do him a favor and gave him Nate. "I really enjoyed it too." Derek moved closer to Nate and kissed him. Nate moved his hand and softly touched Derek's right cheek. Softly his face blushed and he moved his hand behind Derek's head and caressed his soft hair. Nate was into the kiss and didn't realize Derek rested his hand on his lap. Derek, being brave, moved his hand north. Nate noticed a hand on his thigh and slowly heading to his goodies. He giggled and took Derek's hand and placed it on his chest. Derek giggled with Nate. They broke the kiss. "You not getting that yet," Nate laughed, still close enough to lick Derek's lips. `Snort.' Derek could not stop laughing. Derek moved his right hand and caressed Nate's cheek and kissed him. The kiss was broken when Nate's mom ask Nate to go with her. Nate didn't want to leave Derek so he got up and took a hold of Derek's hand and nodded to everyone to join them in the main garden. Nate let go of Derek's hand when he was close to his father. Nate's dad started to speak loudly to everyone there. He thanked them for coming to the farewell party. Nate looked at his com pad and saw it was past 2am. He knew now that everyone was going home. Heartbroken, he knew that Derek had a long trip ahead of him. Then he came up with an idea. After his father said thank you, Nate asked his mom if Derek could stay overnight. Beth glared at Nate and bluntly said no. He was disappointed with the answer, but he had to try. As everyone was leaving, Thomas, Jen, June and Tim had already left. Just his mom, Nate and Derek were left. Nate looked at his mom and gave her the `go away mom' look. Beth knew what he meant and went downstairs to leave them alone. "Thank you for coming, Derek," Nate said softly. "It was worth it Nate." Derek lifted Nate's chin and kissed him hard on the lips. Nate wrapped his arms around Derek's waist. He wanted more, but he was afraid. Nate didn't know how to go further, so he took a big risk and slowly moved his hands down and rested them on Derek's bum. He didn't know if Derek felt where he rested his hands. Taking another huge risk, Nate squeezed lightly and hoped Derek didn't mind. Derek broke a smile and giggled while he was kissing Nate. Nate knew it was okay now, but he still wanted more. Being bold, Nate raised his hands and dug under Derek's tighty whitey underwear. Nate could feel Derek's smooth skin, and he massaged Derek's bum ever so slowly. Nate felt his penis coming alive now but he still wanted more. Kissing and touching Derek's bare bum was getting to be too much for Nate. Then Derek was grinding his groin into Nate's, Nate opened his eyes and saw Derek looking right at him and still making out. Nate closed his eyes and decided to let whatever happens happen. Derek started to grind hard and fast, Nate couldn't help but to moan, between the kisses and massaging of Derek's sweet smooth ass. Nate could feel it deep in his balls. He was about to explode. Nate pulled back from kissing just in time. His knees lost their strength as he cummed in his pants. Derek caught him just in time. "What wrong?" Derek asked if he did something wrong. Nate couldn't answer and Derek looked into his eyes. "Ohh..." Derek smiled, knowing that he made Nate cream his pants. Derek bent over and whispered into Nate's ear, "Was it good?" Nate nodded his head yes. Derek spoke in Nate's ear, "My turn next, okay?" Nate looked up and smiled and nodded his head yes again. Nate regained his strength and walked to the door with Derek. They said their goodbyes and Derek went into the lift and pushed a button. The door closed and Nate was alone in the garden... with wet underwear...
