This chapter is from David's POV Earth's New Masters Part 70 A Budding Genius Wednesday's class went the same as Monday and Tuesday. Tyr was still the star of the class and when I rewarded him with a handjob Gofer again appeared to get very angry. I wasn't supposed to tell anyone that Tyr was Master's brother-in-law, I didn't even tell Beau. He probably was told by Loki because Tyr was Loki's brother-in-law too. But neither of us mentioned anything to the other. I still couldn't figure out what was ticking Gofer off so bad. We'd been getting along pretty well before this week. At lunch Master brought up a surprise. "Well David I've got your afternoon planned for you." "I'm glad you let me give you input on how I want to spend my afternoon." I replied sarcastically. "All of the members of the Firehole Tribe are coming over to the main conference room to take an IQ test. We're going to retest you every six months to see if your IQ is increasing because of the high levels of docosahexaenoic acid that's in your diet now. We know that it increases the concentration of neural pathways in the fetus when the mother is fed it in her pregnancy and the early years of a child's life. We don't know if it has any effect on adults." "What if it shows I'm really stupid?" I was worried. I knew that Gofer was a lot smarter than he appeared and if he only scored 85 on it, maybe I wouldn't score very high on it. "It won't show that you're stupid." Master said rolling his eyes. "But I'm not highly educated. I can read and write, but I don't know higher mathematics or science or anything like that." I said with mounting anxiety. "It's not a test to measure what you know, It's a test to measure your capacity to learn. I'm sure you'll do just fine. I'm expecting you to score well on it." "Thanks for putting even more pressure on me." I said giving him an evil look. "You're cute when you're mad. Actually you're always cute. If you didn't have to be at your best I'd take you upstairs and show you just how cute I think you are." He replied with a wink. I realized that Gofer was in the dining room to take our orders. I didn't know how long he'd been in here listening. He seemed to be really paying attention when I looked his way, but then his expression changed to his typical mindless CBH stare when he noticed I was looking. After lunch Master led me down to the conference room. About half of the ferals were there with their masters. The conference room wasn't unlocked yet, but I could hear motion going on inside. "Are you going to be there when I take the test." I hoped not, it would just be one more level of anxiety to deal with. What if I didn't even score as high as Gofer. I didn't think that would make Master love me any less. But... I heard the door unlock from the inside and the doors opened. Standing there was Ansulm and four young adult Sheps, possibly from Tyr's graduating class at the Military College. They weren't anywhere near as handsome as he was though. "Go in and find the desk with your name tag on it. Then have a seat while we wait for the others. It's still 15 minutes before the starting time." Ansulm said. We started filing in. I found my seat. Master hugged me, said "Good Luck" and walked out. At that same point Beau and Loki walked in. They found his desk and then Loki left. Beau had a look of concern on his face. But it seemed like all of our other tribe mates were treating it as a lark. The feral that used to be known as Steve yelled out. "I'm gonna out score all of you morons. Before my old tribe got scattered by the Illuminati I got a full high school education. Most of you aren't educated at all." It was meant in jest and taken as such but it fueled my anxiety even higher. Allen the old priest of our tribe yelled out, "Oh Yeah? Well I graduated from the seminary before I left to join this tribe." Soon all of the tribe was contributing as to why they would score highest. Except Beau and I who were the two youngest. Then I thought about it and realized that I wouldn't trade places with any of them, no matter how high they scored. I had the best master of them all and he was going to love me regardless of my score. That calmed my nerves. Finally Ansulm blew a shrill whistle and everyone shut up. "That's better. As I'm sure you know you're here for an IQ test. Don't feel under any pressure. You're not competing against each other. We just want to know if the docosahexaenoic acid in your diet from our genetically altered foods will increase the intelligence of adult humans over time. Just do your best. If you screw up you'll get another chance to take it in six months. In fact you'll get to try again every six months." "When I tell you to start I want you to open the folder on your desk and take out the first test booklet. There are two number two pencils on your desk. If you break one of the leads or it gets too worn down raise your hand and one of the proctors will come over and take the pencil to sharpen it. You can use the other pencil while they are sharpening the first one. I want to make sure that all of you have the full amount of time to work on the test. It is timed and I don't expect any of you to finish it." "There are four test booklets and an answer sheet. Each of the questions will have 4 possible answers. He had a large TV on the wall showing an example question. When you decide on an answer you completely darken the appropriate circle on your answer sheet. You will have 45 minutes to answer the first 60 questions. Are there any questions?" "Yes there are questions. You just told us there are 60 questions." Steve said being a smart ass. Ansulm just rolled his eyes and continued. "Open your folders." We all did. "Take the first test booklet out." It was a rather thick booklet. "And START!" I opened the test booklet and looked at the first problem. They seemed to be logic type problems, not questions that you had to have a lot of education to solve. There weren't a lot of big words or hard math, you just had to work your way through to the logical answer. Since Ansulm said that we probably wouldn't get finished I decided that if I was having too much trouble with a problem that I would skip it and come back to it if I had time. Most of them didn't seem that hard. But some of them seemed to have several answers that seemed to work. So I made sure I read all the answers so I could be sure I picked the best answer. I didn't have any idea of how much time had passed when I got to the end of the test. I had skipped eight questions so I went back and worked on them. On five of them I managed to narrow the answer down to two answers and on the other three I had no idea so I just guessed. I put my pencil down and waited. Ansulm came over to me and asked. "Do you have a question David." "No Sir. I finished all the questions. Well at least to the best of my abilities Sir." I replied. He raised an eyebrow at me. But went back up to his desk. I looked around. Everybody was still working on the test. About a minute later Ansulm called out, "Times up! Put your pencils down." "Leave your first test booklet out on your desk and put your answer sheets back in the folder with the other test books. The proctors will come around to pick them up. You guys can all go out into the hall and have a break. There's coffee and sodas out there and a good assortment of donuts. We'll call you in for the second part in 15 minutes." We all got up and headed for the door. Everyone started talking immediately. "Man that was crazy. I kept getting lost and having to start over on a lot of the questions," Ted said. "Did you get finished?" Bryan asked him. "Not even close. I think I spent too much time on some of the questions. I should have just guessed and moved on." Ted replied. "Did anyone get them all finished?" Alex asked. Nobody spoke up so I finally said, "I finished them all but there were some I guessed on." I said almost apologetically. Steve said, "We should have known. You always used to beat us at everything." And at that point one of the Proctors came out get us to come in for part two. It went the same as the first part. I hurried but again I finished about a minute before the time was up. This test was still logic but it was different. I wasn't quite sure how it was different but it seemed to require a bit of a different mindset to answer the questions. They weren't harder just different. It was the same for test three and four, each section had a slightly different theme it seemed. At the end of the final test Ansulm addressed us. "Well since there are only thirteen of you we should be able to get the results to your tests to you this evening. The Proctors have been grading each part while you've been working on the subsequent test. We just have to grade this last test and we'll have the results. Your masters are probably going to be more interested in the results than you are. There's bragging rights involved." He finished with a bark-like laugh. When we went out of the door there was no time to talk to each other. Our masters were there to pick us up immediately. They all wanted to know how we did. "So David did you ace the test?" Master asked me. "I don't know Master, I've never really taken tests. When I learned how to read and do math we just did it because we wanted to learn. There wasn't any formal testing. A lot of the questions were easy but some I just guessed on." I said. "You weren't supposed to be able to answer all of them. You would need an IQ of 200 to get them all right. This was designed to accurately test for IQs between about 70 and 200. We know all of you will test well over 70 but we don't expect any of you to test close to 200. I mean genius level is an IQ of 145 or better. That's for a human of course." "What's an average score for a human?" I asked. "The test is set up so the average human from before the collective would score 100." "I hope I score higher than that so I don't embarrass you." I said with a grin. "Don't worry. Regardless of your score I'll still love you just as much." Master said giving me a hug. All of the others had to drive home, but since the test was at the White House we just had to walk to a different wing of the house. As soon as we exited the East Wing where the test had taken place and entered the Executive Residence I could smell dinner. Gofer was cooking up one of his specialties, beef stroganoff. My mouth started to water instantly. It was one of my favorites. We were just in time for dinner. The whole family was there already just waiting for Master and I to arrive. As soon as we walked in the door Gofer walked out to the kitchen to bring the food into the dining room from where it was being kept warm in the kitchen. He came back in with a cart. We were eating family style because beef stroganoff lent itself to dining that way. There was a huge platter of beef stroganoff over egg noodles, braised red cabbage and something I'd never tried. It was three asparagus spears wrapped in bacon. I was starving and it smelled delicious. We passed the food around and filled out plates. When we all got our food we dug in at the same time. It took a good five minutes before anyone spoke. Part of it was how hungry we all were but even more important was the fact that the food was delicious. Gofer was watching us eat. It seemed that he was pleased and proud that we were enjoying it so much. I was the first to break the silence which was a bit unusual. "Gofer I think that is the best meal you've ever made. Thank you for the great meal." I think he was caught off guard. "Thank you Master David." He replied with no hint of sarcasm. "I agree Gofer. This is really good. Your beef stroganoff is always good but this seem a little bit different, but better. And the bacon wrapped asparagus is a nice touch." Master stated. "Thank you Master Woden." At this praise from Master he turned bright scarlet. He waited quietly in the corner. It was something he only did when he made a special meal. I think it was because he wanted to watch the Sheps enjoy the meal he made. For the most part I think Master and Mom understood that he was the one responsible for the high quality meals we ate. We were about half way through when Butler showed up in the dining room with Ansulm in tow. He was carrying a folder. I wondered what was going on. Did I do so poorly that he had to make an emergency visit? "So what's up Ansulm?" Master asked. "I thought I could get here before you guys started dinner. I can wait or come back later in the evening." He answered. "Ridiculous. Why don't you sit down and have dinner with us. I have a feeling I know why you're here. You can explain it after dinner. It's really good tonight, it's beef stroganoff, one of the house specialties." Master said and looked over at Gofer. "I've had the "house specialty" from before you stole my cook from me. I still haven't found an adequate replacement." Ansulm said also looking at Gofer. "You can't have him back. EVER." Master laughed. We opened up a space between Master and I for Ansulm to sit. Gofer put out another place setting and Ansulm filled his plate with food. He took a big fork full of the stroganoff. He almost groaned as he chewed it. "I really miss Gofer's cooking, especially his stroganoff." He said. We continued to eat. The conversation was light-hearted. We rarely discussed serious stuff over dinner. Ansulm seemed so much more at ease and content than he had before Gofer had forgiven him. When we all finished Gofer carted the leftover food and all of the dirty dishes out to the kitchen. He always seemed to make plenty of extra stroganoff. It made great leftovers. "Why don't you tell us your business over coffee and dessert." Master asked. "That sounds like a plan." Ansulm answered as he put his folder up on the table. Before he got it organized Gofer wheeled out the dessert cart. There were various desserts, a carafe of coffee and a couple pitchers of milk. Master and Mom always had coffee while the pups and I always had milk. I'd not developed a taste for coffee yet. Master said that at my age milk was better for me anyway but he didn't forbid me from drinking coffee. I took a big slice of cherry cheesecake with my milk. "We have the results of the test. It didn't take long to grade. We only had 13 test takers and there were 4 proctors. Before we get to David's test results I want to go over what the scores mean." Ansulm explained. He put a piece of paper in front of him that both Master and I could see. It read as follows: 70 to 84: Borderline mental disability 85 to 114: Average intelligence (3) 115 to 129: Above average or bright (9) 130 to 144: Moderately gifted 145 to 159: Highly gifted (1) 160 to 179: Exceptionally gifted 180 and up: Profoundly gifted "There are ranges all the way down to a score of 1 but most ferals are above 100 because people under 100 usually didn't rebel and leave the collective. The median score for this group was 118, but the average score was a bit higher because we had a few outliers. In a large population IQ follows a bell curve distribution. This is not a bell curve since it's a small sample and it is skewed by external selection pressures. The range for the group was 113 to 151." "What was considered genius level was 145 and up." He finished. "OK all of them are bright enough. But cut to the chase, what was David's score?" Master asked impatiently. "I was just getting to that. David was the one that scored 151..." Master threw his fisted paw up into the air and yelled, "YES!!!! I knew it!!!" He couldn't hug me because Ansulm was between us but I knew he wanted to. "Yes he's quite bright for a human. Only about .2% of humans pre-Collective were that smart." Ansulm answered. "Now I have a justification for Doc using his semen at a higher ratio in our breeding program." Master said jubilantly. "I guess you can. But none of the guys scored poorly enough that they should be completely left out." "I didn't leave any of them out. We need genetic diversity with such a small population to work with. But that doesn't mean I can't skew it a bit toward the smarter ones. We have a chance to bring the baseline up until we get a working population and then they can select for themselves." Master replied. "I can't argue with you there." Ansulm added then finished off his coffee. "Well I have to make the rounds if I'm going to get finished at a decent hour. Now I need to head to Loki's." "Is that because he's closest, he's The Beta or Beau had the second highest score?" Master asked. "I guess you'll have to figure that out yourself. If Loki tells you what his feral scored that's between the two of you." "I'll get access to them all when I'm working with Doc to plan the breeding program." Master argued. "Yes you will. But I think the ferals and their masters should know first." "Oh well I tried." Master stood and shook Ansulm's paw. Then Butler showed him to the door. Master pulled me from my seat, grabbed me in a bear hug and swung me around in circles until we were both dizzy. "I knew you were smart! I just knew it!" He yelled out before putting me down. I had to sit down because I was a little unsteady on my feet. All the pups were congratulating me and as I looked around the room I could see that the only one that wasn't happy was Gofer. He looked sad and angry at the same time. I could understand it from his situation. I'd always thought there was something fishy about his IQ score. I understood a little more about the scoring after Ansulm explained it. And I knew that Gofer wasn't just 1 point away from being borderline mental disabled. Something had to be wrong with his test results. But I couldn't dwell on that when everybody around me was celebrating. In a way I didn't understand why they were so excited. The AVERAGE Shep IQ was around 400 and I'm sure that Master, Mom and the pups were all on the higher end of the scale for Sheps. So they were all smarter than me by leaps and bounds. But I guess they looked at it all relatively. I kinda understood what Ansulm was explaining but I was still having a bit of a hard time internalizing the statistics. After dinner Master asked, "Well feral do you want to give me and the pups another casting lesson?" I'd been giving them about one lesson a week. They didn't need one every day. It wasn't like with the other Sheps that only got the casting lessons for four days so everything had to be packed into one week. They all each were way advanced from what any of my students had learned. "Can we wait for Gofer to finish cleaning up after dinner?" I asked. "Better than that. Follow me to the kitchen." He said with a grin on his muzzle. I followed him in. Gofer, Maid and Chef were cleaning up after dinner. They all stood at attention when Master entered the kitchen. "Gofer you're fired!" Master said. I don't know who was more shocked Gofer, Chef or myself. Gofer was ashen, and Chef who was a black man paled a couple of shades as the blood ran from his face. "What did I do wrong Master?" Gofer pleaded. "You didn't do anything wrong. You're fired from cleaning up. Ever. Your time is too valuable for such menial labor, I've got more important uses for your time. These two can do all the cleaning and if it's too much work for them I'll hire additional help. If I catch you helping there will be trouble for all of you. Now grab your fly rod and meet us down by the pool for a lesson. And that's an order." Master barked out. The blood was returning to Gofer's face. Chef also seemed relieved that he'd dodged a bullet. He didn't seem to mind the mindless work of cleaning up, but Gofer had set a culinary standard the Chef just wasn't capable of matching. One that a human with an 85 IQ shouldn't have been able to set. Master and I went out and grabbed out fly rods from the garage. Gofer got there before we left so we waited for him to get his rod and he walked down to the pool with us. The pups were already there practicing. "I'm going to teach you how to "double haul" today. On the streams we fish here in the East it isn't something we need to use often. On some of the bigger water's out West it is sometimes crucial to get a little more distance on your cast." They were all listening intently. "Start by false casting until you get a good length of line out. When flicking your wrist back into your back cast, simply tug downward on your slack line. This will tighten your line and give your rod more bend. Then perform the same motion throughout your forward cast. Flick your wrist forward and simultaneously tug downward on your slack fly line to tighten you line and leader. Then repeat this process until your cast is at the desired distance." I said as I completed the cast. I performed it a couple of times. The Sheps all comprehended the concept right away but weren't quite able to master it completely correctly at first. Gofer like most humans seeing it for the first time wasn't quite catching on. I went to Master first and ran his arms through it a couple of times, which was all it took for him to put it all together. Not at my level but at a competent enough level. I helped each of the pups who each picked it up almost as quickly as their dad. Then I went to Gofer who was becoming a bit flustered. "I'm sorry Master David. I'm just a stupid CBH, I just can't seem to get it." "I don't think you're stupid at all. Most humans have difficulty with this cast." I started. "I only have an 85 IQ not a 151 IQ Master David." He said with just the tiniest bit of heat. "My IQ test doesn't change who we are. I don't believe for one minute that your IQ is 85. Now here let me show you how to do it." I said and then guided hands through it. It took seven or eight cast before the light went on, unlike the one or two casts that the Sheps took, but that was still faster than most humans. Soon he was doing it on his own with my hands just following along for the ride. It was then that I noticed that I had a boner that was hot dogged between his butt cheeks. And he seemed to realize it at the same time. I could see a bulge forming in his shorts. I slid my right hand sensuously down his side and into his shorts. I was met by a very erect, very hard leaking boner. I could hear the pups giggling and Master growling hornily in envy. And Gofer moaned near ecstasy. I coated my palm and my fingers in his leakage to lube it up then I started to get a nice rhythm going up and down his eager shaft. I brought my left hand down and started to use my thumb to run circles around his circumcised dick head. It only took fifteen seconds or so before he started cumming. I cupped my left hand over his dick head and felt each shot as it blasted into my palm. He sighed in contentment when he was done. I retrieved my left hand, brought it up to my mouth, and stared at my Master while I sensuously licked it off of my hand. Master dropped his rod and marched over to me. He grabbed my hand and started to lick it. His eyes immediately went glassy and stayed that way until he'd licked my hand completely clean. Then he effortlessly threw me over his shoulder. "You pups can put my and David's rods away when you are done. I have some business that needs taken care of." Master growled out. "Don't hurt the "genius" Daddy." Grimwald yelled with mirth. "The only "brains" he's gonna be using are the two tiny ones between his legs." Master replied. I was facing backward so I gave the pups a bawdy wink. Which cause them to howl with delight. To me he said, "You're NOT gonna leave me with a set of blue balls." When he got us to his room he threw me onto the bed. "You're getting pretty good at giving handjobs." He said with a grin. "Yeah I guess I'm a real Jackoff." I said as I grinned at him. "Well I'm not settling for a handy, your ass is mine feral." He said as he grabbed my ankles in his left hand and jack-knifed my body in half lifting my ass a foot off of the bed. He licked my as a few perfunctory times. He was too riled up to worry much about foreplay. He grabbed his throbbing dripping cock and ran it up and down my ass crack a couple of times before sticking just the tip into my pucker. His effects leaked into my rectum where they were transferred into my bloodstream. I started to get giddy in seconds. It was the calm before the storm. When he saw the crooked smile on my face he knew I was ready to take what he wanted to give. He didn't say anything he just rolled me up onto my knees. He wanted to take me doggy style from the get go because he didn't want to stop half way through to reposition me. He really hated to tie face to face, it was really awkward, especially when your partner was passed out. He lined himself up and said, "I hope you're ready for this genius." "I think you should call me Professor since I'm an educator." I replied smugly. "Issatso?" He replied as he thrust his whole twelve inches straight up my asshole. "Yeeeeooool!" I cried out. Even with all of the effects he laced me with it still hurt, but it hurt so fucking good. His effects were potent even in his precum since he was so riled up, and his pre was just jetting into my body. After a few thrusts the pain had been completely replaced with pleasure. There was no gentleness or letting up in his all out assault on my asshole. He hammered away like there was no tomorrow. I moaned as he got down to the short strokes which would lock his knot into my rectum. His effects were so potent right now that even his precum almost had me unconscious." I hadn't cum yet because the pain at the beginning had made me lose my erection. But it was back with a vengeance now. I could feel his growing knot jamming against my prostate with each thrust. "Arrghhh!" I cried out as I shot my load onto the comforter. "Fuck Yeah!" Master cried out as my sphincter, clenching from my orgasm around his knot, caused him to blast me with a huge load of maximum effects. And I drifted off into oblivion. Thursday morning came and Beau got over here a bit early for class. He seemed really excited when he came into the class room. "What are you so excited about?" I asked. "Well right after dinner Ansulm came over to the house to give us the results of the IQ test. He said I got the second highest score. I scored 128 on it. Master was so proud of me." "Congratulations Beau!" I said. I was happy for him but worried that I was going to burst his bubble. "So how did you do?" He asked. "It's not important." I replied. I was worried that it would ruin his excitement if he found out that I scored higher than he did. Except for his music he always played second fiddle to me. "So I guess that means you're the genius." He said but the smile didn't fall from his face. "I figured it was you." "I didn't want to ruin it for you." "It would have ruined it for the old me. But I'm happy for you. Really. If I had to come in second to anybody I'm glad it's my best friend that beat me. I scored only two points away from Moderately Gifted. Master was ecstatic. He said he could use it to justify me fathering a greater number of kids." "My Master said the same thing. I'm glad I didn't ruin it for you." I said relieved. "No everything's cool. I've begun to learn to be happy when I do well even if others do better. Even if the one that does better is always you." He said with a laugh. When Gofer arrived it seemed he was in a bit of a funk. It seemed that there was an anger simmering right below the surface. I had a feeling that it had something to do with my test score. He had held that resentment last night when we were casting. There had to be something beneath all of this anger. I'd be getting the results of his genetic testing soon. If it comes out like I think it will and shows that he's a human instead of a CBH I'm going to ask Master to test his IQ again because I can't believe that it's possible that he has an IQ of 85. I think he's smarter than average. I think it's hard for beings that have an average IQ four times that of an average human to readily see the what would be subtle differences in intelligence compared to them. For humans those aren't subtle differences though. It also seemed like he was barely able to contain his anger when I "rewarded" my two adult students. He was really angry when I "rewarded" Tyr. It was almost like me rewarding Tyr was driving a wedge between us. And I just didn't understand it. I have 12 years worth of writing up on SoFurry. I am one of the more popular writers on that site.
