The wolves near him got up and ran in the direction of the truck. Curious, he stood and tried to see who was here. His view was obstructed by the house, but he could hear Rafe talking to someone, a woman's voice he thought. Just as Theo thought he'd go see who it was, he heard a twig snap behind him. He turned and froze, his shocked eyes were wide as saucers at the sight before him. A boy with shaggy brown hair approached him with his head leaning forward and his nose sniffing at Theo. The boy looked to be about 13 or so and was wearing nothing but a pair of light brown cargo shorts. Theo backed up to the large oak tree as the kid was less than 10 feet away from him, the kids' eyes big with wonder, like he just arrived at Disney Land for the first time. His blue eyes were complimented with specks of amber throughout them. Theo didn't know what to think. Why was this kid barefoot and shirtless on a chilly mid-November day, and sniffing at him like an animal would. The boy was about two inches shorter than Theo but probably weighed ten pounds more from muscle, making him about 5'6" and maybe 150lbs. 'What the fuck is this?' Theo thought. As the boy was now less than 2 feet away, he turned his head with a curious look, and sniffed agained. When the boy finally spoke, he had a strong southern draw to his voice. "Are you a fairy?" He said with a big excited smile and a look of awe. Theo's mouth hung open as he stared at the boy. "What did you just say to me?!" "I said, are you a fairy?" "Boy! What kind of BACKWOODS RETARD ARE YOU?" Theo felt insulted. "Not that it's any of your goddamn business, but yes I'm gay! Get the fuck over it! It's 2017." Theo was now leaning his face forward, letting the kid know, he wasn't going to take any crap. The boy had stopped advancing and his head was now leaning back, surprised at Theo getting in his face. "What's being gay have to do with anything? I asked if you are a fairy?" The boy said with a confused look. Theo's head turned sideways as he gave the kid a confused glare. "Huh?" "You smell kinda like a fairy. Well that and something else, I don't know what it is, but it smells so sweet." The boy said with a goofy grin on his face. Theo's jaw hung open again and he glared at the kid for a almost a solid minute. "I...SMELL...like...a fairy?" Theo blinked several times. "ARE YOU FUCKING HIGH?" The kid stepped back, startled. "No I'm not high. I don't do drugs." Theo looked at the kid with a raised eyebrow, convinced the boy was either high or a lunatic. "It's just, I met a fairy and she was so nice and she smelled so nice too. She was sooooo pretty." The boy had a dreamy look in his blue eyes as he spoke. "She has helped me out so much, when I needed it. I'm sorry I just got so excited when I smelled your scent. I thought I'd get to meet another one. But you're different. There's something different. I don't know what it is." Theo furrowed his brow while he continued to glare at the kid. "I'm um...gonna go...so..." Theo said as he started to step backwards. Just then, the three wolves came charging over and surrounded the kid, growling at him. Theo was now afraid for the boy, he didn't know what to do. "Ohhhh YOU WANT SOME OF THIS? Come on then!" The boy said, challenging the wolves. Theo looked flabbergasted at the kid. "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?" Theo shouted at the kid. "Look I don't know if you're high or just fucking nuts, but you're about to die! Just get out...WHY ARE YOU TAKING YOUR CLOTHES OFF!!!?" No sooner than Theo got the words out, the kid had shucked off his shorts and tossed them behind him. Having gone commando, he now stood naked and took a fighting stance, like he was ready to wrestle. "I don't want to ruin my shorts." "What?!" Theo didn't know how to respond to what was happening. His eyes then got big again as he watched what happened next. Right before Theo's eyes, the kid's muscles bulged and grew. His bones made a cracking noise as he fell forward on all fours. Right in front of Theo, the boy transformed into a large wolf, almost five times the size of the trio of wolves surrounding him. He then let out a loud roar, causing the wolves to step back. The wolves, now all three standing next to each other, backed up until they stood right in front of Theo with their backs to him, growling at the large wolf, showing their teeth. As Rafe ushered Dee into his house, he started with the questions. "Alright so since when are you concerned about my old man? Last time I checked, you weren't very thrilled with him, after everything that happened with your old man." "That was a long time ago. And besides he IS our Alpha." Rafe stared at the woman. "Bullshit." "What? It's true. A lot has changed since you been gone, Rafe. Yer daddy has taken a liking to my boy. He's been good to him. He's helped him through his first changes. The two of em gotten close." Dee said in her thick draw. "Your boy, Caden is it?" Dee nodded. "He's gone through the changes? Man is he that old already?" Dee sighed. "Yeah he got his first almost a year ago. He's 13 now." Rafe whistled. "Man, time sure flies." Dee looked more serious. "He's the bigger reason I'm here, Rafe. He's uh..." She swallowed then continued. "He's not safe with everything goin on. The pack needs unity, we need to be strong, together. The way things are headed now...well it's not looking good, Rafe. You being there, standing by yer daddy, it'll help strengthen his image, maybe bring the pack back into order." "You make it sound like such a simple thing. It's not like I can go back and just be who I am, and I'm NOT gonna pretend I'm something I'm not. The pack will never respect me, since I'm not able to 'breed'." "Well Rafe, you may be wrong about that. The pack might surprise you." "That's extremely optimistic Dee, borderline insanity." Dee chuckled. "You know, I finally know now who Caden's father is." "Oh yeah? Who?" "Well now that he's older, there's no denying who his daddy is. He looks just like him. Most everyone back home agrees, that Caden is certainly his daddy's boy. It's just...." The two were interrupted by a loud roar. Rafe's eyes went wide. "THEO!" The man took off out of the house, in the direction of the roar. Dee was right behind him. When they reached the spot in the woods where the commotion was taking place, they both stopped short. Rafe's eyes went wide. Dee put a hand to her forehead and sighed. "CADEN!!" Dee shouted. Rafe's head shot to Dee with a surprised look. The large wolf, that the boy had transformed into, had been playing with the other three wolves. They were rolling around atop each other, chasing each other, like they were all long lost friends. When the large wolf heard the woman shout. He stopped and looked in the direction of Rafe and Dee standing and watching him. The wolf began to transform back into the 13 year old boy. He walked over to where he tossed his shorts, and put them back on, before walking over to Dee and Rafe. "What the hell Caden! Did you...did you follow me here? How'd you get here? Did you run the whole way?" "Yeah I did. You wouldn't let me come. But I wanted to meet him. I wanted to meet Rafe." Rafe looked like he'd seen a ghost. He eyed the boy up and down. He shook the dazed look from his face. "Why did you want to meet me so bad?" Caden looked to his mother. "You didn't tell him yet?" Dee let out a long sigh and looked at Rafe. "Rafe. This is Caden. My boy. And he's also your son." Rafe stared at the boy, even while Dee spoke. "My son? How is that...how?" He said as he finally turned his head toward the woman. "Well let's not..." "Your son?" Rafe heard Theo's voice and turned to see the boy slumped up against a tree. "Theo!" Rafe gasped as he rushed over to the boy. He knelt down and put his hands on the boy's shoulders. "Theo, are you okay?" Theo looked up into Rafe's face with a dazed look on his face. "Rafe, your son is a wolf?" He blinked at the speechless Rafe. "I don't know what's going on." "I think he might be in shock." Rafe turned and said to Dee and Caden. He then scooped the twink up into his arms and carried him into the house. Inside, Rafe set the boy down in his favorite chair and went and got him a glass of water. "So this kid and you...are you guys like..." Dee started questioning Rafe about the boy. "It's complicated." Rafe replied as he handed Theo the glass of water. "He looks pretty young Rafe. Is he even 18?" Dee asked. "I'll be 18 in a month. December 18th." Theo replied, still with a far away look in his eye, as he clutched the glass of water. "So he's only 17! Rafe, I get that you're gay and all but...are you into young boys? Because he's only a few years older than Caden and if that's what you're into then..." "He's not like that!" Theo snapped, suddenly fully present. "Rafe's a good man, not a pervert. He wouldn't do that. I lied about my age, okay. He only just found out, that I'm underage. As soon as he did, he ended things between us. He's a good, noble man. Don't even try to make him out to be like some pedophile or something." Everyone looked stunned as Theo spoke. Dee raised both her hands up. "Hey I'm just trying to look out for my boy. It's a mother's job..." "It's okay." Rafe said as he sighed. "And for the record, no, I'm not into young boys. I would never, EVER try anything with Caden or any other kid." "Besides Ma, I'm not a little boy anymore! I can take care of myself. Ain't nobody gonna mess with me like that. I can take care of myself." Caden said as he flexed his biceps, while Dee rolled her eyes. "Alright. Can we all just take a deep breath okay?" Rafe said as he took a deep breath. "Theo, this is Daciana and Caden. This is Theo." "Everyone calls me Dee....nice to meet you." Dee said. "Nice to meet you too." Theo said with a big fake smile, then turned his head to Rafe with a serious look. "Can you take me home now?" Rafe let a out a sigh. "Yeah. Come on." He nodded toward the door. Theo got up and walked quickly to the bedroom and grabbed his bag, then walked quickly outside and got in the passenger seat of Rafe's truck. "I guess he really wants to get home." Dee said. "Yeah. I won't be gone long. Make yourselves at home." Rafe gave a wave as he left the house to join Theo in the truck. Theo sat silently, studying Rafe as they drove down the long dirt drive and back onto the road. "Are you okay, Theo? You were in shock and..." "I'm fine." Theo said, still looking intently at Rafe. "Look, I don't know how much of all that you caught, you seemed pretty dazed and..." "You have a son." "Yeah I...um...well...Dee SAYS he's mine..and..." "Oh he's definitely your son. Unless you have a brother, do you?" "No, I don't have any siblings." "Well get a DNA test so you and Caden both have something concrete, but..." "Yeah he looks just like me...I noticed." "Rafe, you have a son." Rafe took a long breath. "I have a son." "And...he's a wolf." Theo never took his eyes off Rafe. He felt like he was seeing the man with new eyes. Rafe breathed in deep and gripped the steering wheel tight. He glanced at Theo out the corner of his eye, trying to think of how to respond. "In the woods, you only seemed surprised at the part that he is your son. Him being a big ass wolf one minute, then a teenage boy the next...didn't seem to phase you one bit." Theo continued. "So you knew Caden was a werewolf or whatever, but you didn't know he was your son?" After a deep sigh, "Yes." Rafe said, not much louder than a whisper. "So how did this happen, I mean, how did Caden become a werewolf? Was he like bitten by another werewolf or something?" "No. He was born with it." Rafe glanced at Theo, who had furrowed his brow at his answer. "You can't be turned into a werewolf. They're born and bred." After a short silence, "Rafe." Theo looked at Rafe straight in the face, waiting for him to make eye contact, but Rafe kept his gaze locked on the road. "Are you a werewolf?" Theo asked the question in a calm voice. "Theo." Rafe breathed the boy's name out as he tensed up. "Rafe." Theo put his hand on the man's thigh. "You can tell me anything." Rafe took another deep breath. "Yeah Theo. I'm a werewolf." "Wow." Theo sat back in his seat. He felt like Rafe's words had confirmed everything he saw, was indeed real. He knew he didn't imagine it all, but having Rafe, the man he trusted more than anyone, finally say it out loud, now it was real. Rafe finally glanced toward Theo, as Theo stared hard into the road before them. "Theo I'm sorry I kept this from you. Part of me wanted to tell you and hoped you wouldn't be freaked out, and part of me never wanted you to know. I know I'm such a hypocrite." Theo turned and placed his hand back on Rafe's thigh. "Rafe, no. I understand." His words were gentle. "You do?" "Yeah I mean, you're a fucking werewolf! That's not something you just work into conversation. Besides, I can't imagine how hard this must be for you, keeping this secret and trying to find someone to love that won't run for the hills. I mean, you can't exactly announce it to the world. Hi I'm Rafe, 29 years old, 6 foot 2, 220 pound total top. And oh yeah, I'm a werewolf too." Rafe couldn't help but laugh at Theo. He was dumbfounded at how well Theo was taking all the mind boggling information and at how nice and understanding he was being toward him. "Thank you Theo. You are way more understanding of all this than I could have ever imagined anyone being." "Rafe." Theo said. "I'm not running for the hills." The boy look at Rafe with a glimmer of hope in his emerald eyes. Rafe looked into Theo's eyes before looking back at the road. "Theo." Rafe sighed. "Dee says a lot is going on with the pack back home. My dad's in a vulnerable place right now. I need to head up for awhile. I don't know how long I'll be gone." Rafe glanced back at Theo again. The boy looked disappointed. "So you have a pack?" "Well I've been a lone wolf since I left, but yeah I do. My dad is the Alpha, the leader of the pack." "Well that's not surprising. I can definitely see Alpha in you." Theo said with a smile. Theo's face got serious. "Be safe Rafe. I don't trust this Daciana lady either. Watch your back, okay?" "Your instincts are on point, Theo. I don't trust Dee. But I got a boy to look after now. And I need to check on my father, make sure he's not in danger." "So how the hell do you have a son with that woman, anyway? Is she your ex?" "God no! One night, not long before I turned 16, me and a bunch of the guys from the pack, were in the woods drinking and partying. The pack is pretty wild. There was probably about 7 or 8 of us, I was the youngest one there. Dee shows up out of no where, she was probably 17 or 18 at the time. She was drunk or high on something, and just more or less threw herself at everybody. Well the guys were all drunk and horny, and they weren't gonna turn down a chance at a piece of ass so...." "So all of them? And you?" "Yeah. I'm not proud of that Theo. I guess I wanted to prove myself to the guys. And if I'm being completely honest, I wanted to prove to myself that I could be with a woman, that I could find a lady to breed with one day, have a family. Do my part to keep the pack strong." Rafe sighed and shook his head. "And now you have a son." "Yeah. Now I have a son." "You have a lot to focus on right now. I want you to know that I'm going to respect your wishes and give you your space. Like I said, I'll be 18 in a month and you know where to find me." Theo said as Rafe pulled up in front of his building. "Well thank you Theo. But...I don't want you to wait around on me okay? You're young. You should be out there having fun. I'm sure you could find a guy in no time, one closer to your age." Theo's heart sank. "He won't be you though." Theo's voice was almost a whisper. "Like I said, I don't know how long I'll be gone. I may have to take a lot more time off work." Rafe had put the car in park and turned toward Theo. "You have my number. You can call me if you ever get into any kind of trouble or if you're in any danger okay? I'll always look out for you like that." Theo took a deep breath and was trying to hold himself together. "Goodbye Rafe." Theo said before quickly leaning over and giving Rafe a hard kiss on the lips. Rafe didn't pull back. As Theo pulled away and quickly opened the door, Rafe said "Goodbye Theo." The door was shut the moment he got the words out. Theo hurried into his apartment building as he saw Rafe's truck pull away in the reflection of the windows in front of him. He started to breath heavy. He felt like every bit of love and happiness he had found, just drove out of his life. As he rode the elevator upstairs to his floor, he felt he could barely stand. He never thought he would feel for anyone the way he felt for Rafe. He never thought that someone could treat him the way Rafe did. And now he was gone. And despite his promises, he didn't know if he would ever see Rafe again. In a daze, he finally reached the door to his apartment. As he entered and closed the door, he slumped down to the floor, leaning against the door, his hand still raised to the handle. The tears started to flow, which quickly turned to sobs. Xander let out a soft moan as he stroked his fat, lengthy cock. His brown hair was still damp from the shower. His hard muscled body glistened, as traces of water still clung to him. He stood in front of the bathroom mirror, clutching his big cock in one hand and his phone in the other. "Damn, I'd tear that ass up, mmmmmmmm." He was pulled from his horny thoughts when he heard the door close in the apartment. He stood still for a minute and listened. When he heard sobbing, he quickly threw on his tight fitting boxer briefs and headed out of the bathroom. "Bro what's wrong!" Xander rushed to Theo's side and placed his hands on the boy's shoulders. Theo sniffled and tried to caught his breath. "Rafe." He finally breathed out. "Who's Rafe? Is that the guy you been seeing? Did he hurt you?" Xander asked urgently. Theo took a deep nasally breath. "It's over. We...we're done." Theo started sobbing again. "Aww lil bro come here." The well muscled stud scooped his little twink brother up easily, as if he was weightless. He carried the boy over to the oversized leather chair in the living room and sat down with this legs resting on the ottoman, pulling Theo's head into his chest. He held the boy's head with one hand, and stroked his back with the other. "Shhhhhh. It's gonna be okay. I'm here for you lil bro, always." Theo just sobbed and sobbed into his older brother's chest. He was even surprised at how bad he was hurt. How deep the hurt went. Rafe was the first real love that he had, and now, he couldn't have him anymore. Xander stroked his younger brother's back tenderly as the boy sobbed for awhile before drifting off to sleep on the stud's hard chest. Xander glanced down at the small wet spot in his briefs, from the leaking of his previous boner and sighed. 'Guess I'm not taking care of you today,' he thought to himself. Rafe returned back home, a little later than expected. "Sorry I kept y'all waiting. I had to get a new phone before the stores closed up. I didn't want to leave town without it." "Always so well mannered." Dee responded. "So it's settled than? You are coming home?" She asked from her seat on the couch. Rafe sighed. "Yeah I'm coming home...for now. Just until this are sorted out. Why don't y'all crash here tonight and we'll head up in the morning." "Cool. Hey can I sleep in this chair? It's so comfy." Caden asked from the recliner as he stretched his arms. "Take the chair or the couch, whichever you want. Make yourself at home. Dee you can take the spare bedroom whenever you decide to turn in." "Thanks Rafe." Dee said as she stood and approached Rafe. She stroked his arm and looked him in the eye. "It really means a lot to me, you doing this for Caden and the pack." Rafe shifted uneasy. "I snooped the fridge while you were gone. How about I cook us up some dinner? That ok?" "Yeah. Sure. That'd be great." Rafe said as he rubbed the back of his neck. Dee cooked up pork chops and some sides as she hollered for Caden to come set the table. The three sat down and enjoyed the meal together. They laughed as Dee and Caden shared their memories of Caden's life with Rafe. Rafe's eyes beamed with love and pride as he looked at Caden, as the boy told of a recent hunt he went on with some of the men from the pack. Rafe's heart also hurt as he thought of all that he missed out on with Caden throughout the years. His priorities started to become very clear to him that evening. "Hey Rafe?" Caden said, looking up from his second plate of food. "Yeah bud?" "Will we all be riding up together tomorrow? In the truck?" "Well I wanna have my truck with me, so I'll follow you guys up." Caden nodded then asked, "Do you think it would be alright if I rode with you?" Rafe smiled big. "Yeah I would like that." Caden smiled and went back to scarfing down his food. The next morning, as the three were loading up the trucks to leave, Rafe bent down to rub the heads of the three wolves that sat nearby watching. "You boys look after the place while I'm gone, ya hear?" Dee rolled her eyes as she got in her truck and started it up before heading out. Caden and Rafe hopped in Rafe's truck and followed Dee, as they made the long drive to the northwest corner of North Carolina. As they approached the land the pack had made their home, Rafe saw several wolves, sitting or laying in the sun along the side of the narrow dirt road. He looked at the different homes, belonging to the members of the pack. Some were basically run down shacks, some small cabins, others were trailers, all sporadically placed throughout the land. Dee parked her truck outside the trailer that her and Caden lived in. "Y'all live here?" "Yup. Home sweet home." Caden said. "This used to be Randal's trailer." "It still is. We live with him." Rafe looked questioningly at Caden. "Randal is Mom's boyfriend." "Oh." Rafe tried to hide disapproval from his face. "Is he good to you? Does he treat you alright?" "Yeah I guess. He's tough. But he's been there for us and he's helped me out a lot, with my changes and stuff. He's shown me how to hunt and track some. Papa Dolph has shown me more though." "You call him 'Papa Dolph'?" Rafe asked with a smile. "Yeah for as long as I can remember. He's always treated me like his grandson. Well I guess cause I am." "Why dontcha go on in the house and get settled. I'm gonna go see the old man." "Can I come with ya?" Caden asked. "Naw not now. Me and the old man got a lot to talk about. Come here." Rafe said as he ruffled the boy's hair before pulling him in for a hug. "I'll see ya in a lil bit." "Alright. Later Pops." Caden said as he hopped out of the truck and slammed the door. Rafe smiled to himself. "Pops." It took him by surprise. He watched the boy run up into the trailer before he pulled away. He made his way to a two story cabin, close to the center of the community. Right behind the big cabin was a big lake. Off to the right side of the cabin was a big picnic area, where the pack would gather for meetings and different events. Rafe pulled his truck up in front of his childhood home. He made his way up the short stairs, onto the wrap around porch. He stood before the door and took a deep breath before raising his hand to knock on the door. To be continued...
