A few were taken with the character Gorham. The the village guards lieutenant that I surmised the hot manly man needed a tale all his own. It tells of his need to help young men escape the clutches of an intolerant church. And the boys he saves. But this is told at the point of view of said boys. There may be man-beasts in this tale. But not the predominant fixtures of the story. It is for the hot and hairy Gorham Do enjoy. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Lieutenant Gorham (Jarman (8) ... Jarman decided that he did need to leave. He needed to pack up some supplies and leave the village. He needed to get out thereinto the world and hopefully find some other place to live. He knew there were other villages out there. But from talk he had heard here and there. They all followed the rules of the temples and the sacred scrolls. So he surmised that he had to live out there on his own. Somewhere out there in the wilderness. Hoping he would not be killed by something out there. "But I need to leave" he said to himself "I need to just go before I am discovered" But again he needed supplies. So he decided to go back to his parents house. To go there when his father was not there. He would sneak in and take what he needed and then go. He would come back here and then climb the wall. Drop to the other side and head out into the forest. He would wait for the following morning and just after dawn he would head out. By the time he reached his old home his father would be gone. And his mother may or may not be there. He was hoping to miss her. Maybe she would head out to the markets. That would be when he would go inside and take things. "I must be cunning so as not to be found out" he said He moved into the main village and through the motion of people on their daily rounds and jobs. Trying not to be seen by others that may get word to gus father that he was around. So he avoided most people. Turning to move back d building and through dank filthy alleys. Then finding his way to his parents home. He moved around the back and pushed himself in through one if the windows in the back. The one that used to be his room. He stepped into it. It was still the same. Unchanged. Like they were waiting for him to come back. To return. He found this odd. It tried to make no worry if it. "I should have other things" he said "Then I shall go to the kitchen and grab some supplies" He grabbed another pack and then stuffed a few items in it. Then he went to the other room and grabbed some more supplies. Then to the kitchen and grabbed some more food. Especially the dried meat mother made. It was good and lasted a long time. He wrapped it and then was getting a drink. He drank some milk and it was cool and fresh. Mother had retrieved it today for the dairy. Then he heard someone coming. He near dropped the cup. He quickly placed it down and then rushed through the small house. Taking the thing he stile and then crawled back out the window. He ok.ped out the back and quickly moved back through the alley. "I have what i need" he said as he ran. He turned down the back street and figured he was clear. But that's when he came across the guard. It was like he had been waiting for him. Jarman quickly returned to go the other way. But then there was another one. He went back down the back way that he came and ran. He rushed back there and found himself near his parents home again. There were more guards. "There. There he is!" one shouted. "Grab him!" Another yelled Jarman. Turned back and then saw more coming from tje other direction again. Where he had turned back from. He was surrounded. He turned to see a stone wall to his left. He ran to it an started to climb. Moving up as fast as he could. But a hand grabbed at he foot and pulled him back down. He fell back at to the ground, hard. Knocking the wind from him. Then he looked up and there was a big guard hovering over him. "Gotcha!" The guard growled "She was right. He did come back" "But now he is caught" "Get up" The guard grabbed Jarman and pulled him up. Then he pulled him over and back to the house. His mother stood at the door. She frowned at him. "Take him!" She called out "He is a horrible simmer" "I wish him gone" "This is not my son!" She rushed into the house after her declaration. Then he was taken from the house and lead through the streets and back up to the temple. Thr strong and mean guard tossed him into a small dark cell. It was a small place with a cot to the side. A window to the one wall that was up high and very small. Letting in only a tiny bit of light. He was trapped. He was doomed, just like his dear friend that had been taken just a short time before. "I am dead" he said to himself as he sat there in that cell "I am dead and or worse" He pondered the pain he would go through. What horrible way the priests would devise for his suffering. He thought of killing himself as he sat there. But as he looked around the stone walls and minimal amenities there was little but the bed to keep him company. He sat there for several hours before someone showed up to see him. It was that huge man Gorham. The head of the city guards. He came with a priest and they stepped into the room. The door was closed behind them. Jarman gazed at the massive man that was the lieutenant of the guards. He was a brute of a man. He remembered when he had first seen this beast. How many and verile he appeared. The man looked down at him as the priest began his assault on me verbally. Calling Jarman a sinner for the theft at his parents house. And his league with my old friend. "We know you were associated with that filth" he crowed "They violated the law" "And you were just no one until your father alerted us to your mom belief." "So we knew you would come back to your home" "And now. Theft" "No better that the scum that was your friend" He glowered at Jarman. Then lay out his hand to instill the punishment. Holding the sacred texts in hand as his verdict was laid down. "You will be beaten by the lash tomorrow" he stated "Then after the beating. You shall be cast out" "No supplies so that you may die out there in the wilderness" "May the beasts take you and consume your vile flesh" The priest then closed his book and stepped back. Then he said to the guard to make sure Jarman had one last meal before he was to be exiled. "I want to make sure he is ready for his lashing" he said sternly "Yes my lord" Gorham said back "Good" I will leave you to it then The priest left him there with the huge man. Jarman feared he may just start to beat him as he stood there before him. He was so large and menacing in appearance after all. But then he sighed as he stood there. Gazing at the boy in an almost apologetic fashion. Then he came towards Jarman. He stepped back with presented fear. Still afraid of what may happen. But then the huge man spoke. And softly he did. It was a deep manly voice. But laced with gentleness. "My apologies my boy" he then said "Do forgive the elder priest" "He is. Umm. How may I put this.." The large man paused as he pondered his next words. Then he smiled and spoke out something more crude. "He is an ass!" He blurted Then the man plainly said that Jarman would not be beaten. That he controls the true punishment here. That he would most certainly be cast out. But that he need not to worry about much else. "I will have you leave and send a message to the ramgards to find you at the West wall." He said "They will take you to a place that is safe" He smiled and touched Jarmans arm. "You will be fine" he said again "I promise" Jarman looked at the big gentle giant. He gazed at his massive and hairy forearms. His bug bearded face. And certainly the mans lower body. The thick beefy legs trapped in his trousers. And what he saw was a lump of decent proportion on the huge man at the crotch area. He gazed at it and back up at Gorham face. The big man smiled Gorham got up and said he would hace some food sent sown to him. Then said that Jarman should get some sleep. That he would see him in the morning. "Thank you sir" Jarman spit out The door closed behind the man and he then lay down until food came. He expected scraps and something old and foul based iff the priest disgust for him. But it was cocked fouls and bread and potato. And it was good. He then fell to sleep and quietly dreamed if his escape, his freedom. And a little if the big delicious looking man that was to free him. "Gorham" he sighed as sleep came..... ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ To be continued
