Love on Iradnia Chapter 3 Dalen and the man walked for what seemed like hours but was in fact only a few minutes. Dalen was enarmored by the forest. It was lush and full of life. Weeping Willows seemed to be the dominant type of tree, and it gave the forest an ethereal-like quality. Besides the willows there were other types of trees as well. Dalen didn't know what they were called but all he knew was that they reached as far into the sky as he could see, some of there trunks spanning a distance of about fifteen feet- even wider. He could hear a lot of life in the forest, but it seemed as though they were all hiding, he saw not one creature. The man in front of him came to an abrupt halt, causing Dalen to bump into him. "Excuse me," he apologised. "That is quite alright," the man returned. Dalen turned to look in front of the man and saw a large tower looming in front of them. It was about twenty feet wide and had four floors. The stone walls were dark grey he could see windows spaced out unevenly all throughout the tower. All lights were lit although there seemed to be ample light coming in from the forest. The two of them walked up to a large wooden door, which the man unlocked and opened up. Dalen could feel the pleasant warmth eminating from inside and he suddenly realised that we was feeling cold. The man motioned him inside and he followed. "Welcome to my home," he said removing his dark cloak. Dalen stared at the man. Underneath the cloak he wore a white robe lined with red. There were runes stitched onto the robe that was lighter shade of white. The man had removed his hood as well. Dalen was surprised to find that the man looked quite young, younger than his own 38 years. He had dark brown hair that hung until his shoulders and skin that was the colour of tea with milk in it, Dalen thought. The man turned toward Dalen and smiled, showing even sparkling white teeth. His eyes were deep brown and had this sleepy look. Bedroom eyes, Dalen thought. Why he thought it, he didn't know. His gaze dropped down to the man's lips which full and rosy, almost in a constant pout. His jaw line was strong and pointed slightly and when he smiled, it showed a hint of a cleft. He had a beauty spot just below the right side of his lip. Dalen was unaware that he was staring. The man however, was not. His smile turned into a grin and he stepped closer to Dalen. "My name is Jiliura," he said extending his hand in greeting. Dalen took hold of Jiliura's hand and shook it firmly. "My name is Dalen... uh... pleased to meet you." They let go of each other's hand and Dalen turned to survey the room he was in. It was large and extended throughout the first floor. It could be described as rustic and every piece of furniture was made of wood. He could see a fireplace that was lit and looked as if it extended right up through the top floors. At one end of the room, Dalen could see what looked like a makeshift kitchen, with cupboards and a counter with containers on it. A large table was also standing there with comfortable looking chairs around it. "Please have a seat while I get you something warm to put on, you must be catching cold," Jiliura said, bringing Dalen out of his reverie. "Uh... thanks!" Dalen said. He went over to one of the cushioned chairs spread throughout the room. He was in his boxers and t-shirt as well and his bare feet thudded on the wood floor as he made his way to the chair. As he sat down his thoughts turned back to his son. He wondered where Jaden was and he yearned to go out and find him, but the practical side of him told him that he might need Jiliura's help. Jiliura. What a strange name? He was quite sure that it wasn't a common one. And why was he wearing that strange robe? Dalen rubbed his arms, although he was quite warm in the tower. `What is going on?' he wondered. Why wasn't he in Cleveland National Forest? How did he and Jaden get here? And most importantly, was Jaden safe? He heard Jiliura come back into the room. He had climbed a wooden spiral staircase to the second floor when he left. Dalen was beginning to like this place. "Here, put this on." Jiliura handed him a pair of leggings that looked a little too tight for him and a deep red, long sleeved tunic along with a brown strap. Dalen thanked Jiliura and started to put the clothes on when Jiliura stopped him. "I think it would be best if you took your underclothes off, seeing as they are dirty." Jiliura had gone to sit in a chair opposite Dalen. Dalen blushed at the thought of being naked in a stranger's home. Jiliura sensed his discomfort when he said: "You do not have to be shy." Dalen relaxed almost immediately, although he still had his reservations. He turned away from Jiliura and pulled his boxers and t-shirt off, leaving him completely nude. Behind Dalen, Jiliura's calm façade crumbled at the sight before him. He stared, and stared hard at Dalen's muscled body. Dalen was not overly muscled, but had enough to give him definition. The muscles in his back were firm and flexed as Dalen moved. Jiliura's eyes moved down to Dalen's butt that was round and firm. Heat pooled in Jiliura's crotch and it crept up to his face, turning it red. He turned away, embarrassed by his feelings. He didn't expect to feel this way about Dalen. Dalen struggled to get his foot into the one leg and had to turn around to support himself, giving Jiliura the perfect view to his crotch. Jiliura gasped silently and was glad he was wearing a robe as he was sure that his cock was making a huge lump in his leggings that could easily have been seen. Dalen's penis was soft and hung down low over his loose balls, his foreskin covering the head completely. Jiliura wondered if it was this big soft, then how big would it be when it was hard. His hands itched to caress it. He was delighted to see that Dalen was completely hairless. He tried successfully to cool his body down, just in time to look away when Dalen succeeded in getting the leggings on. After that it was an easy matter of pulling the tunic over his torso and tying it with the strap. Dalen sighed audibly and sat back down. Jiliura focused his mind on the things Dalen was going through and knew that he wanted answers. Resigned, Jiliura began speaking, "Dalen, I am sure that a lot is going through your mind right now and I'll try to answer as much of your questions as I can." "Where am I?" was Dalen's first question. "As I told you before, you are not home... not on earth, that is." Dalen frowned, "Then where?" He knew that Jiliura couldn't be lying about something so huge, and the building he was in pretty much confirmed what Jiliura had said. "You are in Iradnia." Jiliura said softly. "Iradnia?" "Yes, Iradnia- the Land of Radiance," Jiliura answered calmly. Dalen knew what he was hearing should have been crazy, yet he couldn't help but believe Jiliura. What was crazy to him was that it was actually happening. "How did I get here?" "I think before I can answer that question you need to tell me where you were before you awoke in the crevice," Jiliura said. "We were in a forest, camping, and while we were sleeping we were awoken by an animal, that chased us through the forest..." Dalen couldn't bring himself to speak further. "I see. The only explanation I can think of is that you were brought into Iradnia," Jiliura deduced, rubbing his hairless chin. "How?" Dalen asked. Jiliura thought for a moment, trying to formulate his words without sounding like a moonstruck fool, "It was the forest. You see, Iradnia is a world that wants life, and keeps it. The forest you and- who was it you were with?" Jiliura asked. Dalen frowned again, "My, my son, Jaden." "Oh, well. The forest you and your son were in was most likely connected with the Iradnian forest. This could happen with any normal forest from your world. When Iradnia senses distress in one of the connecting forests, it will move the being in distress here." "But what about my son! I need to find him. And how do you know all of this? Who are you exactly?" Dalen had sprung up from frustration. Jiliura couldn't help but glance at Dalen's form figure in the tunic and leggings. He cleared his throat, he needed to concentrate. "I didn't come across your son in the forest, I'm sorry. As for me, I am Jiliura, as I told you before. I live here in my tower alone. I am a mysterian- a magician, if you will. I know all of this through years of study." Dalen sat back down. He needed to sort through that information. As if to emphasize his words, Jiliura waved his hand at the counter in the kitchen. A goblet floated toward them and hovered in front of Dalen. Dalen supposed he should take it. When he did, he saw that it was filled with water. "Drink it. I apologise for giving you so much information. I think you should stay here for a while. I believe your son is safe." "How can you be so sure?" Dalen said, taking a sip of water. It was cool and refreshed him. "My strongest ability is intuition." But Jiliura noticed he could not sense anything from Dalen, which was immediately strange and vexing. He could only deduce the mundane like nervousness or embarrassment. Dalen nodded, as if that explained it all. Silence descended on the two of them. Dalen didn't like it, he needed to speak. "Your name- Jiliura- What does it mean?" He asked. He saw a blush creep up Jiliura's face. His face heated up too and he wondered why? "Uh, my name. It literally translates to `man of light'- liura meaning man and Jilaht meaning light," he finished breathlessly. He felt charmed that Dalen had asked. "Really? And what language is it?" Dalen asked, becoming more intrigued. "Well, it is the ancient language of Raldin. It is not used commonly anymore. In fact there are very few who know it." "How come?" Dalen was really becoming interested. It helped to keep his mind off Jaden. "It is a pure language. People with dark souls struggle to speak it. And as you can imagine, the radiance that was Iradnia has dwindled to a mere spark. Now only those pure of heart can speak it." "You really must be a man of light," Dalen said, feeling something loosen in his heart. Jiliura's whole body warmed. Nobody had ever told him anything so beautiful before. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Jiliura fell in love with Dalen. Although he knew he was attracted to men, he could think of Dalen that way. Dalen had a child, so he had to be attracted to women. "Thank you for saying that," he murmured. "Do you have family back home?" A pained look crossed Dalen's face and Jiliura regretted asking. "No, my wife and daughter were killed in an accident." Surprisingly the pain didn't feel so strong anymore. Jiliura on the other hand didn't know why he felt relieved that Dalen wasn't attached. "So," Dalen said, trying to lighten the mood, "if other worlds exist, and magic, what about fairies and elves?" Dalen chuckled. "Ha! Don't be silly, they are a myth." Jiliura exclaimed. "Really?" *** While Dalen and Jiliura's conversation continued, Leandas and Jaden were deep into the Iradnian forest. So deep in fact, that it started to look gloomy. Leandas was still holding Jaden's hand. He was pulling Jaden swiftly and Jaden was beginning to tire. He noticed that Leandas was extremely light on his feet and didn't seem to get tired. Jaden also noticed that shadows were moving along beside them, running at the same speed. "Leandas..." Jaden huffed, "I have to rest." "Do not worry, we are almost there." Leandas said. `Where is there?' Jaden thought. They were in the middle of nowhere. "Did you notice the shadows following us?" he asked. "Yes, they are my people. They are guarding us." "From what?" "Beasts like the one that chased you. Dark forces." Jaden shuddered. He didn't want to think about dark forces. He was acutely aware of Leandas' warm hand embraced in his, and strangely, he liked it. He didn't feel uncomfortable in Leandas' presence, even though he was in boxers and a t-shirt and his dick was bouncing freely as he ran. They ran a few minutes longer before they came into a cavernous clearing in the trees. The trees were wide and grew high. What made Jaden gasp was the fact that there were wooden steps spiralling up and around them and that there were doors and windows in the trees as well. Light was emanating from them, which cast an ethereal light throughout the forest. They stopped just inside the clearing. Jaden was in awe, everything looked magical. Flowers were growing everywhere and he could see animals like rabbits and dear moving about the clearing. Then he started to see people coming out of the trees or the forest. They all had one thing in common, they were all beautiful. Although in the back of his mind, Jaden still felt that Leandas was better looking. "Welcome to Glenfey, my home," Leandas said, tucking his hair behind his ear to see clearly as he turned around. Jaden gasped when he saw Leandas. Now he knew why Leandas was so fast, so strong, and why this place was so magical. Leandas had pointed ears, ears that could only belong to one thing, an elf. Jaden staggered backwards, dropping Leandas hand in the process. Leandas saw Jaden's distress and tried to step forward but Jaden shook his head no. "Who are you people, and where am I? He asked shakily. "We are elves and you are in Iradnia." "What?" "Please," Leandas intoned, "try to calm down. You are safe with us. Now come," he extended his hand again, "I said I shall take you to my mother." With that, Leandas grabbed hold of Jaden's hand and pulled him toward a tree some distance away. It seemed to get bigger the closer they got, and Jaden realised that it was the biggest in Glenfey, and also the most central. They came to the beginning of the staircase leading up the tree and Jaden could see that each individual step grew out of the trunk. `Amazing,' Jaden thought. It was apparently true that elves sang to the plants to help them grow, just like in the movies. As if to emphasize the point, Jaden heard singing start up. He was immediately enthralled as Leandas pulled him up the staircase. It was clearly a female voice; light, clear yet strong. It was sung in the strange language he heard Leandas speaking before. It was beautiful, making Jaden feel mellow and relaxed. He could also sense something in the atmosphere. He supposed it must have been the magic working. Jaden looked around as they made their way up, up to the very top and he could also feel eyes watching him, keen eyes. He started to get nervous and being high up was helping matters. Leandas noticed and squeezed Jaden's hand tight. They arrived at the top to be greeted by a woman standing in a doorway. She had long black hair and silver eyes. She wore a shimmering silver dress that made her skin pale, porcelain-like and accentuated her hair and eyes. `Leandas' mother,' Jaden thought, as beautiful as the silver moon on a clear warm night. Jaden felt guilty for thinking that she was even more beautiful than his own mother. "Leandas lura via yuro nido!" She sang. Leandas what have you done! "Mohetr Ime lana resil." Mother I can explain. Jaden stood there, feeling very out of place. He shuddered, suddenly feeling so alone in this magical land. Leandas had yet to let go of his hand. Leandas' mother sensed his distress. "Leandas why have you brought a human here, you know the law," she said calmly. "Mother please... he is not from Iradnia." His mother's eyes widened, immediately knowing the reason for his appearance. "Tell me, my son." Suddenly everything was too much to take in and Jaden felt himself losing consciousness. "Jaden!" he heard someone vaguely call out, but he just saw darkness. Author's note: That's it for chapter 3. I hope you enjoyed it and thanks for reading it.
