We would take every grown woman with less than two children, any man we decide has potential as a mare as well as any volunteers. It wouldn't be easy, but even if they didn't like the conditions, it seemed good enough to deter any peasant from risking their lives in stupid bravery. Of course, all able-bodied centaurs would need to go, leaving only the older men, children, and me behind. The tribe was bound to leave in a week. Before they left they had a tradition of breeding the mares before leaving, of course being the only mare it was up to me. Every day I took dozens of centaurs in a row, my pregnant body made it harder and each session left my legs weak and my hole stretched and dripping, but I was more than willing. They left, Baelrus, Daenrix my other friends. I took care of the few younger ones we had as well as the sexual needs of the older ones. The children were trouble, especially with my fully pregnant body, but I was able to keep them in line most of the time. -----------------------------------------------Daenrix's perspective-------------------------------------------- We left, I of course was worried about those left behind, especially the very pregnant Ari, but Baelrus was right, this was more than necessary. I wanted to take Ari with us, it was hard leaving him and he could help negotiate, but it would be too much of a toll on his body. The trek wasn't long, but the tension was palpable. On the way, we used the scout's account to make a plan. The village was more of a camp, mostly tents in a woodland clearing next to a wide river. We weren't many but a circle of centaurs around the tribe was enough to put them between us and the river, stopping them from escaping. From what we knew they were unarmed and unaware of us. We would make sure to attack in the morning, we would be able to catch them sleeping but we would need the sunlight so they knew they were surrounded and knew we weren't attacking. It wasn't going to be easy, but it was a good plan. We arrived, prepared for battle, and executed the plan. Some panicked and tried to escape only to realize they were surrounded, in a few minutes the humans realized the situation and seemed to surrender. Baelrus' leadership made him the one expected to negotiate, but any centaur was free to interfere. "We are here in peace, we've come to talk!" I shouted, much to the humans confusion and fear. Baelrus continued with his booming voice "We have food to offer, which of you comes with us to talk?" It took a while, but a group of about seven men went forward. "We wish no trouble horse lords, please just leave us be." An older man spoke up, pleading. "Be sure, we will leave you be, but we have demands." "Of course horse lord, take our food and money." "We brought food." Baelrus said showing the cured meat we'd brought along "We want something else." "Please don't take our women, Sir they have children." Said a younger boy among the humans One from our tribe spoke. "We will take some, you can keep the rest." Some of the humans cried and screamed. I spoke, "It's not like that, be calm, we are here to be reasonable!" Baelrus continues before it got out of hand "We will take any woman with no more than one child, as well as any man who will join us, in exchange you shall receive food to make up for all those we take. And after the year is done all those that wish to return will be safely brought back!" The crowd murmured, one shouted from the crowd "Rapists!", a centaur moved in and lassoed him by the neck in order to shut him up. Some cried, it was a terrible sight really, Ari had made me grow fond of humans. The seven human gentlemen discussed and came to an agreement. They spoke "We have no choice but to accept, horse lords, take the women and the men. We have no joy in what you may do to our own but we surrender." The older man spoke in sorrow "We will be sure no one will be harmed, any man or woman with us will have the utmost respect and comfort, you will not be defiled against your will." I gave the signal to the others, some centaurs began to walk through the others. We rounded down the women with less than two children, ignoring those with babes that were too young. Along the way, some brave women stood up to accept their fate, and some mares did also. Men that ranged from 17 to their older age, even one man that seemed to be sixty. The mares that stood up elicited shock to others, but a mare in proximity to a centaur, to see their man parts or to sense their smell gave them uncontrollable urges. Of course, some men and women caused trouble, complaining and feigning resistance, but there weren't many. I rounded many women and mares, taking them to where we could keep count of them. I even noticed some men I suspected to be mares, those that looked up with just a bit too much wonder at my body, I offered a hand and encouraged those to stand up. God some of them were incredible, I had to keep myself from looking straight at them or risk taking them then and there. Some that caught my eye included a young boy, too shy too stand himself but gladly accepted my help, a man that seemed to be about sixty that gladly stood up and volunteered, a muscled man of about 30 too shy to join except when invited and a man of 40 that had only one arm and a scar on his eye. By the end, we rounded up about 14 women, as much as we could have hoped from a raid and a good enough number for such a small village. But to my surprise, we rounded up about 22 mares, who knew so many men were just mares eager to volunteer? We left the food and promised to be back soon with more. Most women and mares were surprised by the kind treatment, by the time we were leaving they already seemed comfortable with what was to come, even chatting and talking to the centaus. It was amazing that this went without a hitch, so many mares and women for our tribe without a single harmed centaur. Of course, there was still the threat they would retaliate, with luck the people we took would be enough hostages to keep the humans peaceful, and by the time the children were born we would be on our way.
