 Grant was helping his husband get ready for his first day at the main
house working with his grandfather Jarvis. As he straightened his husbands
clothing making sure everything was perfectly in position, he took a step
back. Franklin I can't do any better if I'd had more time maybe I just hope
this passes your grandfather's inspection.

 The only one of the children that was up at that time the morning was Zion
he wanted to see his father off for his first day in the main house.

 Grant I would say wish me luck but luck has nothing to do with this this
has to be perfection for my grandfather because it's his reputation that I
will ruin if I screw this up and this is one thing that I don't intend to
screw up. For once in my life, I will prove to everyone that I am worthy I
am firstborn of Maximilian and Jericho Spinelli of the Z1 ranch owned by
Zachariah Spinelli. I am the grandson of Jarvis Spinelli who has cared for
the main house of the Z1 ranch proudly. I will not that him down.

 Grant leaned over and give his husband a quick peck on the cheek and told
him that he would do fine, he had confidence in him to make everyone proud.

 Franklin walked in to the back entrance of the main house at 5:55 AM
everyone in the kitchen come to a complete stop and stood straight up
almost at attention. The cook looked at him, Mr. Jarvis will be through
that door Sir he is waiting for you to arrive welcome to the Z1 house staff
Sir.

 Franklin bowed his head to the cook and walked through the door into the
main dining room and headed to foyer. Jarvis was standing in the middle of
the foyer looking at his watch to make sure that Franklin was not late for
his service to the Z1.

 Congratulations you are on time, you training starts immediately the young
masters will get here at 7 AM we will have breakfast waiting for them in
the main dining room the coffee pots in the office will be freshly
made. You must make sure that they are 10 cups, 10 spoons and 10
saucers. If they have any guest and they are served coffee you will remove
the old coffee cups and replace them with clean ones. There must be 10 cups
for coffee at all times. You will work here in the main area with me today,
tomorrow you will be upstairs making sure everything is spotless. If you
find dust on any shelf on any doorknob on any picture frame anywhere you
will notify the staff members who are to be caring for that location so
that may be removed if they have a problem following orders they will be
removed. Now let's introduce you to the rest of the staff members.

 With that Jarvis reached into his pocket remove the small whistle which he
blew three times. In a very hurried but orderly fashion all staff members
of the main house assembled in the front foyer.

 To all staff members we have a new member of the main house, his name is
Franklin and he will be shadowing me today, starting tomorrow he will be
upstairs and over everyone upstairs if you have a problem with it tough, if
you cannot work for him tough, he will rotate through each section of the
house every day until he becomes proficient with the main house and how it
runs. Should I be absent at any time Franklin is in charge and you will
work for him just like you work for me without any backtalk, if anyone here
decides that you do not wish to follow in order there's always a reflecting
pond that needs to be emptied and scrubbed with a toothbrush until it
sparkles, then it will be refilled with water once again.

 Not a word was said everyone turned and went back to their assigned
stations except for the head cook. He approached Jarvis, Sir
congratulations on finding you an assistant under your tutelage I know he
will excel and no one will give him a moments problem because if they do,
they don't get fed because I will not allow them to eat out of my kitchen
here in the main house in that Sir is out of respect for you and for
Franklin Sir. Cook return back to the kitchen.

 Jarvis went over each station and looked down and noticed that Franklin
did not have any gloves on his hands. He walked to the Butler's pantry and
retrieved the appropriately sized gloves and told Franklin to put them on
and never let it happen again.

 Yes Sir, it will never happen again my hands will be covered at all times
while in the main house.

 Franklin should the gloves become soiled during the day we have plenty in
the Butler's pantry, you will change them and put them in the laundry and
they will be cleaned.

 Now while were waiting on the young masters to show up we will walk
through the front door and you will an assessment of the entrance of the
main house and give me your recommendations. Now remember any guest that
comes to the main gate that is not going to the Museum library or education
center has business here at the main house I will give you 10 minutes and
you will give me a report.

 Franklin walked through the front door and went outside to survey the
situation; he retrieved a small pad out of his pocket and made some simple
notes.

 In nine minutes, he returned to the main foyer to speak to Jarvis.

 So, do you have an assessment of the property in question.

 Yes Mr. Jarvis I do and I have my recommendations.

 Quite well go-ahead Mr. Franklin.

 Number one all porches and sidewalks leading to the main house are dingy
and are dirty they have fungal growing on them and algae, they must be
sprayed down with the acid wash chemical compound then pressure washed to a
white clean luster and sealed with a waterproofing compound so that this
may never happen again and to prevent a visitor from sliding down and
injuring themselves, number two the exterior hedges on the left are 1.76
inches taller than the right side in this must be corrected, number three
all windows need to be scraped clean recalled and sealed, number four the
entire main house needs to be sprayed with the same algae proofing compound
pressure washed repainted and sealed so that this must not ever happen
again. We only have one chance to make the proper impression on a visitor a
dingy dirty exterior plus the porches and sidewalks does not bode well for
the Z1 and the excellence that it stands for.

 Jarvis was impressed by his grandson's assessment in record time. In the
Butler's pantry you will find a formal request for maintenance. Fill this
out with everything that must be done step-by-step including any special
details that must be done. The grounds and had just goes to the
horticulture department and everything else goes to the Z1 maintenance and
construction department ran by Mr. Robbie for the time being. You will
hand-deliver both request to each location and these are to be expedited
immediately per you Assistant Main House Manager. You will not find anyone
to give you any problems concerning this matter. You have exactly 15
minutes to write all these items up and be back here and ready for the
Masters to come in to work.

 Franklin did not waste a minute he found the forms that he needed and
carefully wrote down each and every detail so that there would be no
mistakes of what was demanded for the perfect presentation of the Z1 Main
houses is exterior.

 Five minutes to the hour of 7 AM Jarvis instructed Franklin to be waiting
at the front door for the two young masters when they arrived. Jarvis went
elsewhere to check on others throughout the house.

 Tim walked through the front door and held his jacket out and remarked;
good morning Jarvis I trust you slept well and you're feeling well today.

 Franklin responded; I slept very well Sir good morning and your coffee and
breakfast awaits you in the dining room.

 Tim almost jumped out of his skin, he was accustomed to Jarvis this older
and gravelly voice but this voice was very young and very astute. He turned
to see Franklin standing there holding his jacket that he had been given.

 Excuse me good morning Franklin, welcome to the main house I do hope that
you are able to help Jarvis complete his job efficiently like he has done
for years. Once you become proficient Jarvis is going to take some very
deserved time off to be with his son.

 Yes Sir Mr. Tim, I will hang your jacket up Sir enjoy your meal. Franklin
walked away and hung Tim's jacket in the coat room.

 It was about 7:08 AM when Luther came into the front door, like Tim he
just handed his jacket to the person standing there not looking and
announced, good morning Jarvis hope you slept well.

 Once again Franklin responded very well Sir your breakfast is ready and
waiting in the dining room.

 Luther jumped; holy shit you scared that hell out of me I thought you were
Jarvis damn, not that you're not great and you'd not that you don't look
like him but man give a guy a break and let him know that you're going to
be there.

 Franklin stood there and didn't say a word, other than I shall put your
jacket in the coat room Sir coffee is ready in the dining room and in your
office have a pleasant day Sir.

 Luther was still looking back as he walked to the dining room, when he
entered the dining room Tim was about to bust a gut laughing.

 Scared the shit outta you to didn't he. That Franklin looks like a younger
version of Jarvis, and without a doubt is perfect at his job so far. He
presents a good image for the Z1, he is easy on the eyes and he is
punctual. I think Jarvis will be able to take some time off so that he and
his son can catch up.

 The two boys caught up on some quick small talk as they ate their
breakfast, before Tim could barely sit down his coffee cup Franklin was
there with the coffee pot refilling his cup. Do you require any more
refreshments this morning such as juice water or milk Sir?

 Tim looked at Luther who shook his head no, no Franklin I believe that we
are good on the beverage department, is the coffee in the office prepared?

 Yes, Sir the coffee is ready and hot.

 Sir, I will need to step away from the main house and carry a request for
maintenance to the construction department and the groundskeepers when
you're finished consuming your breakfast, I will clear the dining room then
I will be gone no more than 10 minutes Sir. I will keep my house
communicator with me so that you can reach me at any time by simply
pressing the call button Sir.

 Luther looked at Franklin, what kind of maintenance is needed to the Z1
main house?

 Sir; responded Franklin, all front porches and sidewalks have a fungal
material growing on them causing sleep hazards to anyone that visits and
walks on them if they should be wet, they need to be chemically an asset
sprayed then pressure washed to a high luster white then sealed with a
waterproofing barrier so that this may never happen again. All windows need
to be scraped and caulked and resealed and the entire main house needs to
be pressure washed for the fungal matter once again that grows up on its
sides and under the eaves in the front then pressure washed and repainted
and sealed Sir. We only have one chance to make a proper impression upon
our visitors and the Z1's main house should shine in all his glory to
anyone that walks up to its door Sir.

 Tim looked at Luther, sounds great to me now that father is a way to clean
this dump up and Franklin here is just the person that's going to make sure
it gets done properly.

 Not a problem Franklin take the time that you need make sure everyone
knows what is going on and that is been approved by myself and Luther, if
they have any problems send them my way and they won't have another one.

 Most definitely Sir responded Franklin.

 After Tim and Luther finished their breakfast, they left the dining room
and headed to the office. Franklin quickly cleaned up the dishes put in on
a tray and carried them to the kitchen. He instructed one of the other
staff members to remove everything from the dining room table and make sure
it was completely wiped and polished and buffed before replacing the China
with the lunch place settings.

 Franklin found Jarvis and informed him that he would be taking the request
now to the two appropriate locations and it should take him no more than 10
minutes unless one of the other departments had questions that detained him
any longer.

 That's perfect Mr. Franklin go take care of the matter and return.

 First stop was at the groundskeeping department, Franklin quickly
explained to them that any and all old dead dying plants would be removed
and replaced with fresh ones, both sides of the house had to match, the
right side of the shrubbery was 1.76 inches taller than the left and it
caused a non-symmetric appearance of the front of the main house. He gave
the grounds department a list of the proper flora for the grounds to be
planted in front of the main house. He then left the groundskeeping
department headed to the construction and maintenance department.

 It was easy to find and Franklin entered the front door he walked directly
up to Robbie's desk and helped out the request for the maintenance that was
required at the main house, and how it was to be handled so as that it did
not disturb the proper flow of visitors to the main house.

 Robbie looked at the list and scratched his head and whistled, Franklin
this is one heck of a list that has to be done. I'm glad to see that you're
on top of things and you see things that need attention and you do not mind
seeing that it's done. I love Jarvis and he does a fantastic job but here
lately he has been slipping just a little bit in some aspects be forewarned
that there are lot of individuals that will take advantage of him when he
doesn't pay close attention. Make sure that that staff up there knows that
you're in charge when Jarvis is not around and if they try anything you
will bust them to the basement. Congratulations on your appointment to the
main house and welcome to the Z1 were all family but sometimes there's a
few rotten apples in the cart and they can upset it and make it smell. I
will have a crew out there within 30 minutes to start on the sidewalks and
the porches, we will do the side and back windows first leaving the front
windows for our second crew after normal operating hours. Now that Mr. Z is
not at the main house at this time we can actually work after hours to get
everything done.

 I like your ideal of sealing and coating the entire house and all of the
sidewalks to keep the fungus from growing, Mr. Z loves the place but he's
been sidetracked and very busy so it slipped a little bit. All of this work
will be completed before he returns. Glad to have you here Sir.

 Thank you very much Mr. Robbie I hope that I don't let Mr. Jarvis down or
disappoint Mr. Zachary.

 Just knowing it's in Jarvis's family's hands will make Mr. Zach very
happy.

 Franklin returned to the main house, upon arrival he met with Jarvis.

 Was there any problem with the request that you delivered?

 No Sir everything went quite proficiently, the front and rear porches and
all sidewalks will be started within 30 minutes by the construction crew,
the sides and rear of the home will be done during the visiting hours is
not to disturb any guest, the front of the home will be done with a second
crew in the evening hours after we closed for business. I hope this is
satisfactory to your liking Sir.

 It sounds as though it's acceptable.

 While you were absent, I had to quell the first rebellion, it seems as if
you informed two staff members that the dining table should be cleared of
everything cleaned, wiped and highly polished and buffed the set with the
lunchtime tableware. They felt this was unfair and only wished to remove
the dishes and replace them with the others. They were informed that they
were given an order by the assistant house manager and it would be followed
or they would be scrubbing fountains with a toothbrush, they decided to do
what was requested of them to begin with without further complaint. Now
that they are finished in the dining room, they are now in the butler's
pantry cleaning and polishing all of the silver that is located in that
area it should take them approximately three work days to complete their
task.

 Franklin bowed his head and asked for his next task.

 Go to the main kitchen and asked to observe the head cook in his
preparation of the lunch, you will find out what we normally consume here
during the day at the main house.

 Franklin took three steps backwards turned and left the area headed to the
kitchen. When he arrived at the kitchen everyone stared in fear except for
the head cook.

 Welcome sir my name is Mortimer I am the head cook I'm in charge of all of
the kitchen and everything that gets made in here I understand from
Mr. Jarvis that you will be observing us as we prepare the lunchtime menu,
if you wish for any beverages they are right there in that cooler. In my
case say it's about time those two boys do their job what you asked for was
very reasonable what they did got themselves in trouble and I am digging
out every piece of tarnished silver that I can find for them to clean.

 Franklin observed Mortimer going to each station and check in on each of
the individuals preparing that of the meal.

 Mortimer approached him with a small dish with a piece of pie, just to
give you a taste Sir this is what we are serving as the desert for the
lunchtime meal please critique it and tell me where we have gone wrong.

 Franklin tasted it and thought for a minute, then he took another bite to
see exactly what it was missing.

 Mortimer awaited his decision.

 It has an overall taste that is pleasant but not appealing, it has plenty
a sugar almost too much but imitation lemon was used instead of real lemon
juices giving it an almost soured flavor, not tart but soured, plus a
little coconut on the top applied to the meringue before it is baked will
give it a further enhanced appearance.

 Mortimer turned around and glared at the Baker, you tried to cut corners
again didn't you, being lazy you didn't want to peel or squeeze any lemons
so you used that fake crap wherever it is, get it out of my damn kitchen
now or you can leave and scrub some water fountain.

 The Baker apologize four times and turned around then almost ran to the
cooking station to prep another pie for the lunchtime menu.

 Tim and Luther had just started working on the daily books when Zach's
private line rang. Tim answered; good morning Thank you for calling the Z1
ranch, this is Tim how may I help you today, there was a momentary silence
on the line before the person spoke.

 Excuse me Tim this is Dr. Smithers from Hawthorne Memorial Medical Center
and I'm trying to reach Zach, I need to talk to him and you answered the
line, his private line?

 Yes or Dr. Smithers my father is not on the ranch at this time and is
unavailable for contact Luther and I are sharing the responsibility of
running the ranch while he is gone if there's anything that can be done all
you have to do is ask Sir.

 That's strange Zack never leaves the ranch in anyone's hands he always
handles all of the decisions.

 Yes, or we thought the same thing when he relinquished his authority to
us.

 I tried his communicator several times but no one was answering it so I
called his private line at the main house. I really need to talk to him Tim
can you tell me how I can speak to him directly.

 Dr. Smithers I wish I could but no one in this office knows where he has
gone and that's the way he wants it.

 Okay son I understand, can you kindly transfer me to be in so that I can
talk with him and maybe he knows where Zach is?

 Dr. Smithers again I wish that I could, my father left the ranch one
afternoon and headed west the next morning my dad left the ranch and he
headed east neither one of them has a communications device on them. The
driver who drove them to where ever they ended up at has been sworn to
secrecy by my father or he won't be seen again.

 Damn, Zack in his crazy ideas about privacy sometimes is nice but other
times it's a royal pain in the ass, I'm sorry about that outburst Tim but
we have something very important that's going to be announced it is going
to be a planet wide event Zack hear this for himself. Plus, I need to
borrow two of your people but by the time that they arrived here there will
possibly be four that need to leave the ranch and come to the hospital and
see me no one else but me.

 That's not a problem sir, I can inform them and have them on the transit
first thing in the morning if that's soon enough Sir.

 That's perfect Tim and I will let you know when the broadcast is going be
set so that everyone can stop what they're doing and pay attention to this
announcement it affects everyone living on this planet. First of all, I
need Rupert here, Dr. Allen needs to accompany him. I know they both have
mates and they will have to come also so I need for people from the Z1 here
in the morning by 8 AM. I wish I could tell you more but I have been sworn
to secrecy myself.

 Tim went back to his chores and the bookwork about 30 minutes later the
private line rang again, good morning and thank you for calling the Z1 this
is Tim how can I help you.

 The voice of Carter Hawthorne rang through the phone line loud and
clear. Good morning young man I understand that we have four passengers
that need to be carried to Hawthorne Memorial Medical Center and they have
to arrive there before 8 AM in the morning I am informing you that Ed and
myself will accompany them in our jumper we have been summoned also for
some very special world altering event.

 Yes, Sir I was just about to inform Zack and Caleb about their requested
presence is there anything else I can do.

 No Tim that's just about everything that needs to be done thank you very
much and carry on the good work young man I know your father would be proud
of both of you boys and how you are handling the Z1 so efficiently. And
tell Luther congratulations for what he did for Jarvis and his family.

 Yes, Sir he heard you loud and clear when I heard your voice, I placed you
on speaker so that way we could both be privileged to the conversation so
that we were aware of everything that you needed Sir. Thank you very much
for the information Sir and have a pleasant day.

 Tim decided that a phone call was not in order something that was possibly
planet shaping needed to be delivered in person plus he wanted to go check
on Titan the clinic.

 Tim walked into the clinic and observed a small crowd of single dad's near
Titan as he gently cared for the young genman child who nursed at his
nectar gland. While we need some more feeders there's too many of these
children for Titan to handle by himself no matter how much nectar he is
producing. He continued on into the clinic and saw Caleb, excuse me
Dr. Allen I need to talk to you it's very important. Meet me in a private
conference room and five minutes.

 Yes, Tim I'll be there I got a break right now between patients.

 Tim went further into the clinic to the family medicines and saw Matt step
out into the waiting area. Matt, I need to speak to Rupert. I need him to
meet me in a private conference room along with Dr. Allen who I have
already informed and clear your calendar for tomorrow you'll be busy
elsewhere.

 Okay Matt I'll rearrange everything should be a problem and I'll tell
Rupert to meet you there five minutes.

 Being very punctual Caleb and Rupert were at the private conference room
in exactly 5 minutes, they entered and took a seat across the table from
Tim.

 Okay guys I'll be very short and very brief. Tomorrow morning you need to
be at Hawthorne Memorial Medical Center have nice attire. Your spouses may
accompany you there is something going on some big announcement this can be
broadcast planet wide I don't know why can they want you there but whatever
it is it affects everyone, represent the Z1 and its family with pride.

 Both of the young men looked at Tim and responded; yes, Sir not a problem
we will represent the Z1 with pride and dignity.

 Tim dismissed the two and set in the conference room thinking of how to
alert or possibly get any kind of message to his father then it dawned on
them Madison knows. He picked up his communicator dolled Madison's number
and had him report to the clinic private conference room.

 Within five minutes there was a knock at the door and Tim told the party
to enter, it was Madison.

 Yes, Sir you rang Sir, how may I be of assistance to you.

 Madison; I know you know where my father is at along with my dad and where
he is at, I need you to leave and go to them because after discussing
things with Luther I know they're together they have to be. I don't say
nothing just hear me out, I have been informed that tomorrow sometime after
8 AM there is going to be an announcement made at the Hawthorne Memorial
Medical Center they have called for two of our residents to attend along
with Ed and Carter Hawthorne. I have no idea what the announcement is no
more than you do at this point but it was told to me it will be planet
changing and it will affect everyone that lives on this planet. So, if you
are as loyal to my father is I know you are you will do what needs to be
done.

 I understand this Mr. Tim but understand me when I leave here, I will
leave here and be gone for several hours to maybe even a day. I will be
assured to catch up with Mr. Zack and then I will search out Mr. Ben and
tell him the same story as you have told me. Once I leave the immediate
area of the Z1 I will be out of communications because Mr. Zack has fixed
my communicator so when I leave a certain distance from the main house it
throws a signal blocker so that I may not be traced, the location beacon
and gps device on my speeder was decommissioned by Mr. Zach himself, he
reprogrammed the entire unit so it is totally unlocked the modifications
that he has made to the unit if I'm attempted to be followed you will not
keep up and as for as surveillance technology, any drone within a mile will
be deactivated and will come plummeting to the ground. Your father is a
very smart man, he did not amass such a place as the Z1 by not knowing
people watch and listen.

 I fully understand that Madison and I am respecting my father's wishes his
desires and his orders you will not be followed you will not be searched
Father made it clear.

 On that note Madison departed the conference room headed to his home to
inform Benjamin that he had a special assignment and would be out of touch
for several days.

 Madison entered his home and asked his mate Benjamin to have a seat that
they needed to talk. As you know Mr. Zack and your father Ben left the Z1
several days ago, at separate times and in different directions. I carried
both of them to undisclosed locations. Something has come up that I must
contact Mr. Zack, I have no idea what it is but tomorrow after 8 AM you
need to keep every line of communication open there is an announcement
coming that will change our world.

 What kind of announcement Madison?

 I don't know, all I can tell you is what was relayed to me and they don't
know any more than this. I may be gone for a few days so take care the boys
and protect yourself. If it is trouble walked down and secure all of the
windows and secure and bold all door shut. If you and the boys are out in
the open which you should not be tomorrow not at all find eating it shelter
protect our family.

 I can tell you through rumors several freighters had been attacked in the
expanse of space. Much like the space outpost where I grew up, I really
don't know what to expect and I wish I was here with you but I have to be
where I am. I need to leave here around noon so that gives us plenty of
time to be together with our family. Do not repeat anything I have just
told you to anyone do you understand that Benjamin?

 Yes, I understand that and if were home and someone comes that will play
hell taking any of our children are my brothers from this home. I will
fight with everything I have until my last breath I love you Madison and I
respect your wisdom and your loyalty to Mr. Zach and the Z1 family. So,
until you leave is not talking more about this, but hold me I just want the
two of us to be together with our family and my brothers.

 Madison didn't know how correct he was to forewarn Benjamin about there
being trouble in the expanse of space. The Royal Genmen were hunting there
are their lost cargo, and they would stop at nothing or spare no one until
they found what they were looking for.

 Noon approached too fast as Madison bid Benjamin farewell, he kissed his
children and told them to follow their dad's not to question anything he
told them to do, he looked at his brother-in-law's and repeated the same
follow your older brothers orders nothing can be taken for granted. He
walked out to the speeder with his small overnight case and a bag of food
packed by Benjamin.

 Madison stopped by the main house to tell Tim and Luther that he was
leaving to inform Mr. Zack that there was an important announcement being
made tomorrow any time after 8 AM.

 Tim and Luther both bid Madison goodbye and a safe and speedy trip.

 Madison decided he need to show them that it was no use attempting to
follow him as he pulled out of the main road turning right, he pushed the
throttle of the unit to the floor the reaction from the drive train was
immediate and all four wheels broke loose from the pavement and began to
smoke as the excessive speed turned them faster than the vehicle could be
propelled, when it caught hold the unit was gone in two seconds.

 Tim cleared his throat, Luther looked at his brother. I'm glad he's
driving that maniac machine and not me I can't believe father did that to a
speeder, that means all safety protocols have been disengaged and it is
totally under the control of Madison.

 Yeah, and he's a better man than I am, I don't mind a little speed but
there's no way in hell that I would drive that vehicle now were ever father
is it must be a distance in his contact him a while to get there.

 Ed was taking a leisurely drive into the Township when he saw something
fast approaching in the rearview, it was on him before he realized it and
it passed him was such great speed, he almost lost control. If it hadn't
been for the particular color, he would not have known that it was from the
Z1. Shit who the fuck was that and where they headed, I'm doing 100 clicks,
he must be hitting 300 to 350 clicks but none of our speeders are built
like that they all have regulators and permanent stops in the computer
programming.

 Ed pulled over and popped out his communicator, he called Tim.

 Ya got Tim how can I help you today?

 Tim this is Ed which one of the speeders is out on the Z1.

 Sir what you mean which one the speeders?

 Were the speeders located at the young man that's all I need to know can
you look on your mapping system and tell me where they're all at.

 Tim thought for a second. May I ask where you passed by one of our
speeders recently.

 Past hell he almost blew me off the road he had to be doing between 300 to
350 clicks none of the speeders are built to go that fast what in the hell
have y'all done.

 Tim thought for a second trying to gather his proper working. Ed yes, it
is a speeder that belongs to the Z1, and it is being driven by someone on a
mission. The speeder has been fixed by father himself and it is under the
control of Madison. He told us earlier that if he was followed anything, we
try would not keep up with him and it sounds like he knew exactly what he
was talking about. I'm not allowed to say his destination because I don't
know, he has gone to deliver a message to father about the announcement
tomorrow. He is out of communications with us and that's it that's all I
can tell you.

 Were in the hell did that young man learned to drive like that? I knew the
buggies the Hawthorne industries were built tough and could withstand a lot
but nothing like that.

 Father and Madison spend a lot of time together, there always taking
drives and going places at the drop of a hat. Madison never tells father
no, and I found out that they been sneaking off to the repair shop in the
late evenings and when no one else is looking and they are always working
on that speeder now we definitely know why.

 When your father arrives back at the Z1, I'm going to have to sit him down
and have a schoolboy talk with him. He's not a young man anymore and trying
to relive his younger days that he was denied because he ran the Z1 just
isn't going to work I need to talk to Jake maybe he can enlighten me. I'll

 The next number was Jake Traylor, the two spoke and the more they spoke
the more Jake laughed. Number one Jake knew that Zach always had a little
wild streak in him but he kept it under wraps trying to prove that he was
proper and a leader but he was more like a rebel and he had the perfect
cohort Madison.

 Ed still wasn't happy after he spoke to Jake so he needed to vent more and
he called Carter.

 Carter listened to his husband have a meltdown about the speeder Madison
driving it Jake for altering his perfect design and turning it into a
certain deathtrap. After Ed was through venting Carter took a deep breath
and started. Ed Hawthorne you are one to talk to you how many times I sat
worried about you every time you had to be at the helm of the newest jumper
or speeder as it was being tried during the design process, do you know how
many times I've seen you turn a speeder over or how many times I've seen
jumper 150 foot in the air malfunction and come crashing down onto the
tarmac, with you behind the controls with another pilot beside you. Well
now the shoe is on the other foot I do not want to hear it you have your
ass here in time for supper I don't care what you do and Township but we
will be at the Medical Center tomorrow morning at 8 AM.

 So please leave the boy alone, Madison knows exactly what he's doing or he
would not have ever driven at that speed, personally I think you're jealous
because the young man can do something that you can't he can drive like a
bat out of hell. Then Carter hung up on Ed. The phone rang back three more
times and every time it was Ed and Carter rejected the call.

 One of the boys looked at his dad, did father screw up again?

 No, he has not screwed up yet, but you're about to wear my patients thin

 Carter went to their room and he went to the closet, he was looking for
the perfect outfit for tomorrow's big announcement whatever it may be.

 Madison began to slow the speeder down and took the turn to the right into
the desert area, he followed the back roads and entered the Z1 ranch from
behind. Zach had fixed the monitoring devices so that the rear gate could
be opened and closed and never indicated as a security breach but only he
and young Madison had the codes.

 Zack really wasn't pleased to see Madison pulled up it only been a few
days.

pressing important matter that needs your attention.

 There is a plantwide address that will happen tomorrow morning any time
after 8 AM. Tomorrow morning Ed and Carter Hawthorne along with four
members of the Z1 ranch will travel to Hawthorne Regional Medical Center
for a nationwide address I cannot find out any more information other than
it is going to be life altering for the entire planet. The boys felt that

along with Ed and Carter Hawthorne your sons are staying at the Z1 and will
listen to the address just like anyone else they were not invited.

 While it must be kind of important if two individuals and their spouses
are involved along with Ed and Carter.

attend the event also incognito. And then I can either bring you back here
or carry you anywhere you wish I've got a back with a few days clothing and
I've told Benjamin to take care the family. Madison looked to his right and
saw Ben. He was wearing a robe and his hair was disheveled like he had just
woken up.

 Would you to please keep it down out here I'm trying to get my beauty
sleep. You know how long it's been since I could sleep in.

 Zack chuckled; yeah, you do look a little rough around the edges but no
worse for the wear.

that 20-year-old human in the middle of a massive electrical and asteroid
storm.

 Madison looked at the two of them, did I interrupt something that I
shouldn't have.

 No, I'm just taking a break before going in there and roughing up his vent
again. After all them babies he's popped out he still got it, Ben is so
damn sexy I want to be on top of him 24/7.

 Ben cut his eyes at Zach, the past few days that's the only place you've
been is food, bathroom, sex, sleep, food, bathroom, sex, sleep.

 Mr. Ben, no disrespect but it must run in your family because when the
kids are quiet the only place, I want to be is with Benjamin wrapped in his
arms and making love to him.

 Mr. Zack I'm really not sure what this big announcement is but what has
been happening past the security blocks around the planet is really
beginning to worry me, there have been several attacks incoming transports
by very heavily armed advanced ships. All of the survivors say that they're
looking for something or someone and they don't care who they decimate in
the process.

 Madison before they can access the entry gates from one section of the
outer realm to our planet they must sign in with a special encoded signal
and it's only good for five minutes after they receive it so it's very hard
to steal the thing downloaded put it in your computers then bring your ship
through.

We have a special scanning system that scans every ship prior to entry when
they enter the code. If one ship tries to piggyback off of the other one as
soon as the first ship has been detected and confirmed the gate only stays
open for the length of the time that the ship is designed in length, so
even if you connected to ships together by docking system and you try to
push one through before the second could enter the gate will shut down
severing the two halves.

 I'm not saying it isn't possible to try and fool the sensors and
everything else of the gates but it is constantly being updated and
improved. At any time, we can shut the gate off and nothing else comes
through, essentially locking the outside world's off from us.

 So, you're telling me if a ship were to be big enough to encompass a
smaller ship with a signal indicator basically like a rackknar swallowing
as a slug the gate would not open to let the rackknar through even though
it contained the slug the correct tracking and access codes.

 That's a little unconventional description but yes. If one ship had a
cargo area large enough to consume or envelop the other it could never get
through even with all of the right tracking numbers the only way and I mean
the only way is they would have to commandeer the ship, offload everybody
out of it fill it with their people and come through that way and even they
were in the brake away section we would know how many occupants were on
board versus the crew compliments of the original ship and literally it
would be crushed when the security protocol was activated. We have a
10-time redundant system, so that even if 9 attempts to activate the
security protocol, failed the 10th would get them.

 It wasn't always this way; we've had to develop the security protocols
after some unsavory characters came through and attempted to win over the
people and start an uprising.

 Zack, I don't feel so good I need to go back inside and throw up.

 Hot damn it looks like practice made pregnant; this sounds like a call for

why some Genman don't carry hybrids is too hard on the body.

 Zack moved his chair back and motioned for Ben to come over and take a

right returned to the Z1 and you're going to come to the main house and you
will live with me until neither one of us breathes anymore.

 Zack; I really want to ask you, what's gonna happen to the Z1 when you
pass away? Even as your mate I can't inherited neither can any of our
children because they're not pure human. You know the law.

 Ben do not concern yourself, the Z1 is set up in a trust. And I don't care
who tries to get their hands on it and less Spinelli blood runs through
their veins they will never be able to touch it. I have provisions in
place.

 But Zack I still worry you know me. The entire time that I was pregnant
with Luther I worried and then the other baby that we lost I was worried,
and when Tim came along even though we were not his biological parents I
worried about that boy so much he lived with you in the main house but he
came to see me all the time and would always ask why come we didn't live
together and I told him that sometimes people are better off living in two
separate houses but he needed to stay with you. It's just the way I am.

 It was almost 1:30 PM when Drake finally made it back to Regent and Rory's
home. I'm sorry I'm so sorry little brother I know I have responsibilities
to Shelby but I lost track of time don't ask me what happened because you
know.

 Drake; I had it covered Rory is still at home and produce and so much
nectar that I'm having to pump twice a day having Shelby nurse from me is
just fine as long as you were okay.

 I'm okay I'm fantastic in fact in the best I've ever been, besides a
severely sore vent thanks to Rocky and his equipment I'm great and you

went back home with him.

first before I move in. Are all humans this different that they have to get
their intended's families permission?

 Rory stuck his head out the kitchen, Drake is called proper etiquette in
the human household. Sure, skanks and sluts and even whores will jump in
bed with the first man there is a shack up, that means living without
permission with them no problem. But if a man is serious about making a
lifetime commitment to a sexual partner, he will ask that partners parents
for permission for them to be together as a couple.

 Humans are so strange to Genmen get together there's no big deal, if we
want to stay, we stay one Genmen will ask the other Genmen to become a mate
or just stay during the pregnancy. Getting used to humans as a mate is
going be different for me. I must have eaten something wrong last night I
don't feel so good right now suddenly in fact I need to throw up out of my
way I gotta go.

 Drake barely made it to the bathroom before he was on his knees in front
of the China thrown throwing up everything but his toenails.

 Rory looked at Regent, you don't think what I'm thinking.

 He said they used protection every time.

 Yeah, and sometimes protection doesn't always protect if you're not
careful.

 Rory picked up his phone and called Rocky. Rocky answered the phone, hey
buddy want to ask you something and don't jump to any conclusions that I'm
prejudging you. Did you and Drake use protection every time you had sex
last night or did you slip them overall one, once or twice when he wasn't
looking.

 Rory you know me better than that I honor someone else's request we use
condoms every time that we had sex last night, he doesn't want a baby right
now because Shelby is almost 3 months old and he needs for his body to
rest. And why are you asking anything like that?

 Because Rocky I have a Genman on his knees in my bathroom throwing up
everything but his toenails and three shades of green. You sure you didn't
serve him some food that had been in the refrigerator too long.

 Know everything had been fresh within two days plus we ate the same thing
at that party last night, I feel fine.

 Well Drake's not fine he was doing just great and all the sudden he turned
to shades of green and ran for the bathroom it's been throwing up ever
since.

 As Drake was throwing up everything he had in his system, there was a
knock at the door. Rory answered the door and look straight into Derek's
face. Good morning and how you doing Sir you come by to visit the boys.

 Yes, I did after yesterday evening, I figured that enough time in past I
would come by check on them and talk to them especially Drake and see how
he is doing.

 Well, he was doing just fine and suddenly he's hugging the China thrown
and thrown up everything that he's got.

 Derek came into the room and got a sudden whiff of a sweet pungent
odor. He looked at Rory and asked for Drake was?

 First door to the left on his knees Sir.

 Derek walked to the bathroom and without a doubt he knew exactly what was
wrong with his son. Drake get you a went cloth with cold water and applied
to the back of your neck and I need you to come back to the living room and
sit down placing your head between your legs we need to talk.

 Yes, father give me a couple minutes to clean up and I'll be right there.

 Derek walked to the living room set in the chair and told Regent and Rory
to have a seat he needed to ask them some questions. Both sit down on the
end of the sofa. By chance has Drake spent any extended time with the young
man that he was at the party with last night, and you know if they had
relations.

 Drake came into the living room during the questioning and set down gently
lay in forward and placed in the cool cloth on the back of his neck. I can
answer that for you father. Yes, I have spent time with Rocky we have had
three dates yes, he and I spent the night together last night in the same
bed and we had sex but he used protection because he doesn't want to get me
pregnant before I'm ready.

 Well son I hate to inform you it's a moot point now, because I bet the
house you are very pregnant right now no matter where their condos were
used or not someway somehow one of his seed found an egg.

 Suddenly there was a rabid knock at the door, a very insistent rapid knock
at the door at that.

 Rory went open the door when he was almost run over by Rocky who did not
see Derek setting in the oversize chair to his right, he went directly to
Drake. I am so sorry I am so very sorry you know that we were trying to be
cautious and we use condoms every time I can't believe it happened, I
fucked up so bad.

 Rocky what do you mean what's wrong.

 I was cleaning up the bedroom after our time together and Rory called me,
I checked the trashcan and everything was just fine until I noticed a used
condom beside the bed, it had a rip in the side, and there wasn't anything
in the reservoir. You've got to believe me I didn't mean for this to
happen; I know you don't want a baby right now and I don't blame you if you
get mad at me but I'm not going anywhere and I'll stay right beside you.

 Derek cleared his throat as the young man was consoling Drake, you need to
hang around young man because the fruits of the two of you and your actions
last night will soon make their presence known and he will need you to
comfort him and to soothe his burning abdomen when the baby implants itself
on the wall of his womb.

 Rocky even as big as he was turned to shades of white when he saw Drake's
father setting in the overstuffed chair, Sir you have to know that this is
not the way we had it planned I was going to get permission from both of
you before Drake and I were to move in together because I feel for him like
I've never felt for anyone before.

 Don't worry son I understand, a father knows these things especially after
seeing you two together last night, watching how you took care of my
grandson and my son I know that you're an Hon. person and if he let himself
be with you in the way that I know he did by proof of this developing
pregnancy you have my total approval. Now we have to wait.

 Drake I want to ask you right now, do you want your dad to come over and
witness what is fixed to take place. I know he's a control freak but due to
recent actions he's lost all of his control he's just your dad now and he
has resolved himself to that fact. You know that he's proud and he never
humbles himself for any reason but now he sees the error of his ways and
knows it Wilson may never forgive him but you two boys can start the ball
rolling and I'm sure slowly Wilson will come around if not your dad will
have to love him from afar.

 Drake looked up with tears in his eyes, father please call him I know he
was only doing what he thought was right but he'll have to accept going to
happen next where the he likes it or not and if he starts anything, he
won't be part of my life or any of my children's lives including Shelby you
will always be welcome but he will not.

 Derek called Daniel and asked him to come to Rory and Regent's home if he
would like to see his newest grandchild come to life before his very eyes.

 A few minutes later there was a light knock at the door, Rory opened the
door and invited Daniel inside. Daniel looked over and saw his son sitting
beside the same man that he was at the party with. Drake was covered in
sweat and start to grown a little bit is the implantation was about to
begin. Daniel took the opposite side of his son then Rocky was on. Regent
handed him a cold cloth, Daniel gently patted his sons face and wiped
around his neck.

 It's going to be okay don't worry your dad is here, your father is also
here and the father of your new child to be is also beside you supporting
you 100%. This is going to be different than the last time it is going to
be quite an experience for us all except for Regent and Rory who already
know what it's like to conceive a hybrid baby.

 Drake chuckled, yeah, you'd have to figure little brother would get a jump
on me but he wasn't the first Titan started this and I'm so glad that he
did.

 The first conception pain hit Drake like a burning hot poker, he cried out
in agony.

 Rocky leaned over to Drake, where is it hurting can you show me where it's
hurting and let me rub it, so I can help soothe the conception of our
child. About that time, he was wracked again.

 Drake pointed to his lower abdomen on the left and the right this is where
it hurts this is where it burned so bad.

 Rocky gently laid his oversized hand's on Drake's lower abdomen and slowly
rubbed of helping soothe the conception of his sons.

 Daniel was so proud that he was able to witness this miracle in the
making, he could only hope that when Wilson and his chosen mate decided to
conceive a child of their own that he would be allowed to be a part of
their life also.
