Thank you for taking the time to read it. Comments are welcome. sam@gamermail.net The following is fiction. Any resemblance to real people, places or events is coincidental. This is a romance story in many parts. If you are looking for a quickie, this isn't it. From Chapter 15 I sat down to breakfast, well, it's lunch now, I slept really late. All the information Marty gave me yesterday made my sleep disturbed. I look out the dining room window towards Dennis' house and see him outside shooting baskets into the basketball hoop in their driveway. After lunch I stay at the table and continue to watch him until he finally goes back inside. When I get up Marty is smiling at me. "Just like Caleb" he says. Young Again - Chapter 16 by Sam The following week goes by like normal. On Friday, Dennis stays over and we do it 4 times. After he goes home Saturday I wait at the table looking out the window. Yep, he comes out of his house with the basketball and starts shooting hoops. I watch him as he practices. When he goes back inside I get up and take care of my chores. Sunday I do the same thing. I sit and wait for him to come out. I do some drawing of Dennis. This time it is an action shot of what I saw yesterday. At about 10am Dennis comes out. I watch him for a bit then realize this is silly. I want a closer view. I go to the garage and get a folding chair that I use when camping. It's cool out so I put on my "Property of Dennis" hoodie, then go out and across the street. Dennis spots me as I get close to his house. He stops shooting and watches to see what I'm doing. I set up my chair on their lawn then sit down facing Dennis. I take out my pad and pencil and he gets it. He goes back to shooting hoops and I go back to Dennis watching and sketching him, with a better view. When it is time for him to stop he walks over and asks if I'll be doing this a lot. I ask if he will be out here shooting baskets a lot. He says he has to, basketball season starts soon and he has to get in the practice. I say then I will do it a lot too. He then takes my chair and folds it up and puts it near the porch. He says that way I don't have to carry it around. He walks me back to my house and gives me a kiss then heads home. The week goes by normally. On Thursday Dennis tells me he has a practice tomorrow after school but will come over to my house when he gets out. I say ok. Friday after school Alex walks me home. Well, we walk home together. When we get to our street he just goes to his house and me to mine. I sit on the couch and watch TV waiting for Dennis to get out of practice. He shows up about 5 and we sit on the couch with me cuddled up to him and watch TV while Marty gets dinner ready. There is a faint smell I don't recognize and I am trying to figure out what it is and where it is coming from. It isn't powerful but it is unusual. I've never smelt this before. It isn't dinner, Marty is making spaghetti and I know that smell. I think it is Dennis. I turn my head slightly so my nose is to his chest and breath in. Yeah, it is coming from Dennis. This isn't Dennis' smell. I know all his smells. I know what he smells like cleanly showered, sweaty and after sex. This isn't any of them. I think it might be a deodorant. But it doesn't smell like the one he uses. I mean he just came back from practice so he should smell sweaty, but he doesn't. Just this smell. Maybe he took a shower after practice? No, his hair isn't wet or look like it's been wet recently. This is bothering me. "How was practice?" I start. I'm going to figure this out. My problem solving mind won't let it drop until I know. "Good" "What did you do?" "Run laps." And didn't sweat? "Anything else?" "Nope" Seriously? I know running is part of the game, but you don't earn points by running, you earn points by getting the ball in the hoop. A coach wouldn't waste an entire practice just running. His answers don't help my brain with the dilemma of the smell, they make it worse. I get up and sit in the chair. I don't think Dennis is being honest with me and I want to put some distance between us. He is much bigger than me and I don't want to be too close if I'm about to make him angry. Once I'm seated I continue my questions. "Why do you smell?" Let's cut to the chase, it's what I'm trying to figure out, might as well try asking. "What smell?" Either he is being defensive or really doesn't smell it. "You smell like deodorant" "I wear deodorant. I put it on after my shower this morning." "The one in your bathroom?" "Yes" "This isn't that deodorant" He stops as if he's trying to think. Marty has reached a point on making dinner that he can watch TV from the kitchen door. He isn't looking at the TV though. He sees me and Dennis aren't cuddled together like we normally are and he is listening to find out why. Dennis looks at the ground and in a soft voice says "I'm sorry. I wasn't at practice. I wanted to find out what it was like to fuck without a condom on to see if it was better." This is news to me that he wanted to try bareback, he never mentioned it to me at all. Dennis pauses a moment and continues without looking up. "I chatted with a guy online that goes to the high school and we agreed to hook up so I could try it. Please don't be mad." My world has just come crashing down around me. To be continued...
