Eric had told him he would come by around eleven-thirty and that he and Noah would treat him to lunch after their visit. Aiden had agreed at the Thanksgiving fest to accompany Eric and Noah on their little undertaking, although he was beginning to wish he had told them he was going to be busy all weekend and couldn't go anywhere with them. His pop didn't help him any when he told him why Eric and Noah would be picking him up on Sunday morning. "Asking you to accompany them is a very respectful gesture," Larry had said. "How?" Aiden grumbled. "It shows how much they respect you as a person. They see you as someone who will appreciate learning about the legacy that was handed down to you." "I know about Bobby and how he got killed when he fell off of his bike. What else do I need to know?" "I think Eric and Noah will give you the answers you want," was Larry's answer. Aiden's reverie was interrupted by Eric's silver Nissan sedan pulling into the driveway. He zipped up his jacket, adjusted his stocking cap, and stepped out into the forty-degree day. "How much do you know about Bobby Neal?" Eric asked Aiden as he backed the car out of the driveway. "He fell off his bike and hit his head and it killed him. And there is a special sports award named for him and his uniform shirt is the one hanging in the trophy case and his number 10 is retired." "That is the outside story," Noah said. "There is also the inside story. The story of how much heart he had. How he had a rough home life. How, when he played baseball, he didn't think he'd earned his pay if he wasn't dirty after a game or even after practice." "He got paid to play? Like a pro?" "That was a figure of speech. His payment was the dirt he accumulated. And...well...you see...Bobby and I were becoming boyfriends. To this day he occupies a very special place in my heart." Eric and Noah shared some Bobby stories until Eric pulled into the parking lot of the Mayfield Cemetery. Aiden exited the back seat of the car and waited for Eric and Noah. Noah was carrying a package. "Noah and I come here every Thanksgiving to express our gratitude. Sometimes we come just to be here and pay our respects." The three of them walked along the cemetery's paths until they reached a well-kept gravesite. Aiden looked at the headstone. He read Bobby's name and the dates he lived. He knew Bobby was in middle school when he died but knowing that didn't tell him as much as reading the dates that confirmed that Bobby was thirteen when he had his fatal accident. Noah took a plaque out of the bag he was carrying. He opened a metal box that was set next to the headstone and removed a similar plaque. "It's a replica of the plaque each member of our team received after we won our second straight High School State Championship," Noah explained. "We had one made for Bobby. Even in the box, dirt and water gets on it, so I replace it." "I thought Bobby liked dirt." "He did. On his uniform. I'm sure you saw the streak of dirt on the shirt in the trophy case at your school. That was put there on purpose." "Noah and I like to sit quietly for a bit thinking about the boy Bobby was and about how he touched our lives," Eric said. "What do I think about while you're doing that?" Aiden asked. "Simple. Just think about being the best person, player, teammate, you can possibly be. Imagine dirt on your uniform, which I know you don't mind since I've seen you get pretty dirty." The three of them sat on the ground next to the gravesite. Eric and Noah bowed their heads while Aiden looked at the grave, the plaque in the open box. Aiden wondered why Eric and Noah had come to the grave of a friend who died a long time ago, when they were all boys, so they could feel grateful. He was going to ask them as soon as the quiet time was over. In the meantime, he sat with the same patience he always showed in his waiting chair. "Time to go," Noah whispered. Aiden could see the tears in the eyes of the young man as he stood up. Eric and Aiden got up off the ground as well. Aiden watched Eric embrace Noah and give him a long, gentle hug. For some reason, it all came together for Aiden. At that moment he understood their gratitude. "I loved him," Noah said, his voice choked with emotion. "I always will." Aiden wasn't sure if it was okay for him to say something, then decided that if Eric and Noah didn't want him to talk they wouldn't have asked him to come with them. Then it occurred to him that it was more than okay for him to talk since he knew why they invited him and why they were grateful. "The reason you are grateful when you come here is because when you come you remember how special Bobby is and that makes you grateful you knew him and loved him. And you brought me here to teach me to always remember to be grateful for the rest of my life for everybody I love like you are for Bobby even though he isn't alive and is buried here." "That is very perceptive, Aiden," Eric said as he continued to hold Noah. "And it also helps us to remember to love each other with all of our hearts. You play hard and clean and you play to win, Aiden. You remind us of Bobby by how you go about your business even though the two of you have very different personalities." Noah let go of Eric and wiped away his tears. "You would have loved him, too. I hope you help to carry on Bobby's spirit in every practice and in every game. Eric and I love you, Aiden. We know Marty talks to you about gratitude. We wanted to show you that there are many things to be grateful about—things you often wouldn't think about." Eric and Noah both knew there was more to the story than what they were telling Aiden. He was long over it now, but Noah had struggled for months with the demon of guilt following Bobby's death. If Aiden had been a lot older, Noah might have related that story but, for now, it was best left untold. After leaving the gravesite and the cemetery, they stopped for lunch at the Mayfield Café where the topic was playing sports, succeeding in school, loving friends, with a couple of bad jokes thrown into the mix. Several customers in the café knew Eric and Noah well and greeted them with classic small-town warmth. It made Aiden wish Nolan was at the table with them so he could share in the friendliness. Aiden was grateful his other big bros had taken him to the cemetery to learn about the legacy of Bobby Neal. THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 29 The first time Aiden saw Nolan after the Thanksgiving Feast was a week later when Mayfield Middle School played Meadow Park Middle School at Meadow Park. Both teams went into the game with 3-0 records and the contest was as intense as it was expected to be. Aiden and Nolan were both good athletes. While Nolan was bigger and stronger, Aiden was quicker and more of a leader. Nolan was an excellent baseball player, but Aiden was the better overall player of the two. They were equal on the soccer pitch although their styles were different. Each boy had different strengths. On the basketball floor Nolan was by far the better player. Nolan was the more experienced of the two and had better instincts. Aiden was learning the game quickly, however, and was developing into a slick passer and a demon on defense. The Meadow Park Coyotes used their superior size and a full-court press to jump off to a 12-0 lead three minutes into the game. Nolan, who was the team's leading scorer, had six of the points. At that point Coach Meeker put Aiden, who had become his sixth man, into the game to add some intensity. The coach was beginning to think that Aiden had improved to the point where he would probably benefit the team more by starting rather than coming off the bench. As instructed by Coach Meeker, Aiden asked the referee for a timeout once he officially entered the game. After the timeout, Aiden took over as point guard. As Coach had instructed he started running the press break offense, which was based on passing the ball up court rather than dribbling it. It was a concept Everett Pritchard, the seventh-grade starter at point guard, often had difficulty grasping. Instead of looking for the pass even before he received the ball, he often put the ball on the floor when he caught it which often got him trapped and in trouble. Aiden was always thinking ahead and looking ahead so that when he received the ball he had an idea of where his teammates were and who he wanted to get the ball to. On defense, Aiden was assigned to guard Nolan. Even though Nolan was his boyfriend in almost every sense, Aiden defended him like a maniac. At the end of the six-minute quarter the Titans had cut the Coyote lead to 14-6. Aiden, with the help of his teammates, held Nolan scoreless. At the half the Titans were down 20-17. The game was turning into the contest everyone had been expecting. At the half, Aiden had four points and three assists while Nolan had scored 10 points and pulled down four rebounds. The game was a battle right down to the final minutes. With twenty seconds remaining Blake Knox scored when he rolled to the basket and received a perfect pass from Aiden making the score Titans 30, Coyotes 30. He was fouled on the shot but missed the free throw. The Coyote center pulled down the rebound and kicked the ball out to Nolan at half court. The coach's instruction in that situation was to get the ball to half-court and ask for timeout. The Coyote coach reminded his players about how the side out-of-bounds play worked. The Coyotes, who were a well-coached team, ran it to perfection. Nolan came off a screen at the top of the key. Aiden got caught in the screen and Barry, who was guarding the screener, switched men with Aiden. But he didn't jump switch and as a result he lagged a couple of steps behind Nolan who caught a feed from the wing just outside the three-point line. Nolan squared up to the basket and drilled the open three-pointer giving the Coyotes a 33-30 lead. Aiden, Barry, and Gordy all yelled for a timeout as soon as the ball went through the hoop. There were four seconds on the clock. The Titans knew they would have to make a desperation three-point shot. While they got a shot off by Trent, it was just inside of the half-court line and fell way short of the basket. The Coyotes had a 33-30 win and first place all to themselves. Nolan finished with 15 points including the winning basket. He also had nine rebounds. Aiden had a career high seven points and five assists in the Titans' losing cause. After the game, Nolan's mother reluctantly left her son to watch the varsity game. "Just make sure you're home by five-thirty and that you get all of your homework done," she needlessly reminded him. Nolan's father had scheduled his docket so he could make this game. The tradeoff was his having to return to Centralia for three evening hearings. "You're really going to sit with a Meadow Park kid during the varsity game?" Barry Bender asked. "Yeah, he's my friend," Aiden replied matter-of-factly. "Nolan and Aiden have been friends for a long time," Miles said as he came to his friend's defense. Barry was unwilling to let go. "Shouldn't you be sitting with your teammates?" "I'll sit with you as long as Nolan sits with me." "But he's the enemy." "Barry, give it a rest," Scott Keller chimed in. "The game is over, in case you haven't noticed. I mean we all have friends from other schools." Scott, a seventh grader, had been elected team captain by his teammates. "Yeah, even from Kentburg," Gordy said knowing that was the greatest sin of all. "I'm cool with Nolan sitting with us. I was just trying to say the varsity doesn't need to hear somebody cheering for the other..." "Barry!" Trent barked. "We're all good with what Aiden's doing, so live with it." "It's just not right," Barry mumbled, but he had the sense to finally shut his mouth. "Look, I'll sit with Nolan until halftime, and then I'll sit with you guys and scream myself hoarse while we kick some Cougar ass in the second half," Aiden offered. "Aiden, that sounds like a great idea," Scott said. "I couldn't have gotten a better one myself." Nolan and Aiden sat by themselves in the upper bleachers during the first half. Since there were only eight rows, that wasn't all that high. They discussed basketball. "You're really getting to be a good player," Nolan said. "You already are a good player," Aiden countered. "And that was a really good game even if we did lose." "Even when we were ahead 12-0 I knew it was going to be a close game at the end. Your guys played way better when you were the point guard." Aiden blushed and changed the topic to the two visits coming up soon. Aiden would be spending Saturday at Nolan's house the next weekend. Then, Nolan and Aiden managed to negotiate a three-night stayover by Nolan at Aiden's house between Christmas and New Year's. That had them the most excited. "I wish we could hold hands right now," Aiden said as the second quarter began. The Titans were ahead 9-6. "Me, too. And I wish we could kiss somewhere, too." "Next weekend for sure we will," Aiden said. "And we're going to rock your bedroom when I stay over at your house." "I hope so," Aiden grinned. The thought of rocking the bedroom with Nolan sounded totally sexy to him as once again strong feelings for the boy sitting next to him surged through is body. For Aiden, they weren't just strong feelings, they were feelings that he couldn't begin to describe—feelings that went beyond anything he had ever felt for anybody. At half-time, Nolan went to the other side of the gym to sit with his teammates while Aiden went over to the section on his side of the floor where his teammates were sitting. The score was tied at 14-14. Aiden sat next to Gordy. "How did things go with your booooooooy friend," Gordy grinned. Aiden ignored Gordy's teasing. "They would have gone better if we were playing better," he groused. "I think our JV teams are pretty even, but our varsity is way better than theirs. We should be kicking their ass. The guards need to get the ball into Ron and Michael." Aiden was referring to Ron Burns and Michael James, the varsity's two big men. What Aiden didn't say was if he were the point guard he'd make feeding the big men his top priority instead of dribbling up the floor and shooting it. As far as Aiden was concerned, that wasn't the way the Mayfield Titans played basketball. He could tell that Coach Randall wasn't pleased. As soon as the second half started Aiden could see that Coach Randall had told his guards to start moving the ball instead of running a "my turn to shoot offense". The ball went into the two big posts, who worked hard to get into position for it, and the ball started going into the hoop. At the end of the third quarter the Titans had a 29-19 lead and opened it up to 35-21 before Coach Randall emptied his bench. The final score was 39-26. TUESDAY, DECEMBER 4 Aiden got his first start of the season against Kentburg at home. Keith was on the Kentburg JV team. He didn't start, but he got some playing time in each half. He had told Aiden that he was usually the first or second player off the bench, which he thought was pretty good for a sixth grader. Trent and Scott Keller were each going to sit a quarter so they could suit up for the varsity game. Like the Titans, Kentburg had only one loss. When the game was over, Kentburg had doubled their number of losses after the Titans clamped the D on the Royals for a 22-16 win. Aiden had one point, three recoveries, and three assists. He was also a "super pest", as Coach Meeker called him, on defense. The varsity picked up a 34-28 win. SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8 At eight-thirty in the morning, Larry arrived with Aiden at Nolan's house. Aiden had set his alarm for seven to give him time to shower, brush his teeth, get his hair as groomed as he could, and slap on a dash of Phil's cologne. He wished he could have gotten his hair done by Peter the waiter's sister, but between basketball and commitments by his dads, there wasn't any time for anything but a trim by the barber Peter had called a butcher. Still, Aiden didn't think he looked that bad as he admired himself in the full-length mirror in his bedroom. While Nolan's mother often irritated Aiden because of her ridiculous rules and demands, her not allowing him to overnight Friday or Saturday actually made sense this time. The family was attending the Meadow Park Middle School winter concert on Friday night (Mayfield's was scheduled for the next Friday). The family planned to attend early church service on Sunday morning because they had a busy day planned. Nolan and Aiden were happy that Nolan's mother allowed Aiden to spend the day. Larry was amused by how Aiden had gussied himself up for the visit. Larry accompanied Aiden to the door. He wanted to chat with Nolan's parents about the triple overnighter that was scheduled over winter break. Paul Moyer, Nolan's father, assured Larry that they would be hosting overnights as well. "I'll pick Aiden up at eight," Larry told the Moyers. That was the agreed upon time. "That should give the boys time for their dinners to settle, unless they end up in one of their free-for-all wrestling matches right after eating," Paul chuckled. "That is simply not going to happen," Vivian said, although she was certain it very easily could happen, even with good boys like Nolan and Aiden. "Where are the boys?" Larry asked as he prepared to leave. "Either up in Nolan's room, or down in the basement in the train room," Vivian said. "Or in the den watching TV," Nolan shouted from the den. "Do you want to check out the changes in the model railroad layout before you go?" Paul asked Larry. "Sure." Larry loved watching the trains as well as seeing the constant improvements that Paul and Nolan made to the layout. Nolan and Aiden accompanied their fathers down to the basement. Paul started to show what he and Nolan had accomplished since Larry had last visited, but Nolan quickly took over the narration. He wanted his best friend's dad, not to mention his own dad, to know how knowledgeable he was. He didn't need to impress Paul, since his dad had no doubt about the abilities and accomplishments of his son, but he could tell that Aiden's dad was impressed. Nolan started running a couple of trains to show off what he was talking about and was pleased when Aiden started a train in Nolan's Lego corner. Nolan could see that he'd taught Aiden well. After finishing the show, Larry complimented Nolan on his fine job of explaining the changes. He nodded to Paul to indicate how pleased he was that Paul gave the boys free rein to run the show. Having become good friends with Paul Moyer, Larry knew what kind of father he was. "I'll be back at eight," Larry said, repeating what he'd told the Moyers earlier just in case everyone had forgotten. The boys rolled their eyes, communicating to each other what they both knew—that adults simply couldn't remember anything for more than a few minutes. "How do they manage to do anything without our help," Nolan said to Aiden as they finally made it to Nolan's bedroom. "I hope I'm better at remembering stuff and being right about things when I grow up than they are," Aiden said. "You couldn't help but be better," Nolan replied half-seriously. Aiden looked at the Lego section of the room and noticed some changes. "Wow, are you going to run a train set up here?" Some new Lego structures had been erected and a section of track ran around the walls of the room, some of it going through tunnels, openings in buildings, and through the middle of the rocket launcher Nolan had just finished constructing. "It'll just go in a circle. I have to move the bed out so I can lay some track under the bed, which means I'll have to be better about cleaning dust bunnies out." "Yeah, they could attack your train and derail it," Aiden giggled. "What are you going to do about the door?" "That's my next project. I'm building a trestle downstairs. When I'm not running the train, I'll raise the trestle up like a draw bridge. Maybe I can call it a draw trestle. Anyway, it's going to be six inches above the floor at the door and when I raise it up people can walk through the door like normal." "You've already got your track going under your desk." "Yep. I wanted to put holes in the wall and run it through my closet, too, but dad said no way, Jose." "Those tracks are really narrow." "It's an N gauge train, which is way narrower than the HO gauge downstairs. There's an even narrower gauge than that, and that's Z gauge. But I didn't want it to be that tiny. Anyway, this train will just be for upstairs in my room." "Do you have the train yet?" "I'm getting that for Christmas. I said I wanted a passenger train set, but it will be up to my parents to pick one out. Which means, up to my dad since my mom isn't big on model railroading." "What's she big at?" "Cooking. And she's giving me lessons. I'm learning to be a breakfast chef like you." "You can be the Meadow Park Naked Chef." "You're a goof ball," Nolan laughed. "Hey, how about we get comfy and work getting track laid through the Lego section." Nolan stripped off his sweats to show that by being comfortable, he meant wearing just a t-shirt and socks. "Whoa, you're really comfortable." "Why should I wear underpants under my sweats when I know they're going to come off pretty quick." Aiden pulled off his jeans and was quickly wearing just a Seahawk sweatshirt and blue and red checked boxers. Nolan had told Aiden to wear boxers because his mom didn't object to him wearing boxers around the house but complained about boxer briefs and got upset about briefs being all that was being worn. Nolan's mom obviously had no say about the dress code in Nolan's bedroom and Aiden's boxers followed his pants. The two tweens were naked from the waist down and were sporting throbbing pubescent hard-ons. Wordlessly they dropped side-by-side onto Nolan's bed. They turned to face each other, bringing their lips together and kissed passionately. They then pressed their cocks together, kissing and rubbing, their hands finding each other's naked ass and rubbing the athletic glutes of their partner. Nolan pushed his tongue deep into Aiden's mouth and thrust his cock hard against Aiden's erection. He rolled Aiden onto his back. He hastily yanked off his t-shirt, then spit on his cock and lay on top of Aiden, shoving his cock between Aiden's legs, which Aiden squeezed tightly. For the moment, the project of laying track through the Lego section was forgotten. "My shirt, my shirt, take it off," Aiden mumbled, "need to get naked." But Nolan ignored him. He hadn't jerked off for three days to be ready for this cum and now it was all he wanted. Aiden's hands rubbed Nolan's bouncing ass as Nolan moaned and grunted and kissed and shot his clear boy juice between Aiden's smooth thighs. "Oh, shit, oh fuck, oh fucking fuck," Nolan moaned as he pumped out three, four, five shots of his watery cum. Nolan was totally lost in himself as he rolled off Aiden. Aiden grabbed his own pulsing erection and gave it five hard jerks with his left hand. That was all he needed to have a dry orgasm that lifted his ass straight off the bed. "Holy crap," Nolan whispered as he came back to Earth. "That was awesomely amazing. I think I love you, Aiden." Then he realized that Aiden had gotten himself off. "Fuck, Aiden, I didn't get you off. I'm sorry." "It's cool. I couldn't wait for you and I was really horny and turned on." Aiden took a deep breath and said, "What do you mean you think you love me?" "I mean I really do love you. I mean, we're boyfriends, right?" Aiden looked into Nolan's deep brown eyes and grinned. "Yeah, we're boyfriends. I mean we're way more than just best friends. We always want to hold hand and kiss and cum and mess around. No we want to do more than mess around, we want to have sex, when we're together. Yeah, we're boyfriends." "I can't wait until our three nights at your house. It's going to be so much fun..." "...and so much sex," Aiden said. "Do you think we're going to do it? I mean Chase showed you how it's done. So should we plan on doing it?" Aiden knew that Nolan was referring to them butt fucking. "How about this; how about we don't plan it." "I thought you wanted to do it. I mean you and I don't really think it's gross anymore." "Well, not totally gross anyway," Aiden giggled. Nolan kissed Aiden lightly and then traced the light spray of freckles that crossed his boyfriend's cheeks and nose with his index finger. "No, what I mean is, let's do it when we feel like we're ready," Aiden explained. "It could happen when you come over after Christmas. It could happen this summer. But let's not plan it, let's just have fun together and get off together and if it seems like we go up somebody's butt, then let's do it." Nolan nodded and rose from the bed. Aiden followed him and the two friends finally got to work on the track layout. About twenty minutes into their task, Nolan was on his hands and knees working on connecting the track through his Lego rocket launcher. Aiden couldn't help but stare at his friend's exposed crack. "If a rocket ever gets launched the train would have to stop," Aiden giggled as he started rubbing Nolan's exposed ass cheeks. "I think I'm gonna take the launcher apart and build something else. I'm never gonna launch a rocket from it anyway." "But the rockets look cool," Aiden said as his middle finger worked his way inside of Nolan's crack and started rubbing his grommet. "What are you doing?" Aiden shoved his finger into Nolan's ass like he'd seen Miles and John and Bryce and Chase do. "I'm putting my finger in your butt so you know what it's like." "Does that mean we're going to do it, soon?" "I think it might help us get ready," Aiden said as he pushed into the second knuckle and started finger fucking Nolan. "Feels really good. I didn't know it could feel that good. Maybe we'll be ready real soon." "Or maybe we won't." "Just promise me we'll do it sometime," Nolan said before issuing a shriek of pleasure when Aiden hit his sweet spot. "What the fuck did you just do?" "I think I hit your button. Chase says hitting that button is why boys like to fuck each other in the ass." "Well, then I'm ready to fuck for sure. Let me rub yours so you know what it's like." Aiden pulled his finger out of Nolan's ass and took off his t-shirt. He wanted to be naked when Nolan tickled him. When Nolan returned the favor and found Aiden's sweet spot, Aiden knew that there was no question he wanted more. What had once seemed only gross and dirty was suddenly something worth doing. When Nolan removed his finger, Aiden felt somewhat empty. He kissed his boyfriend. "I promise you we're going to do it when we're ready." "I have a feeling that's going to be really soon." "Lunch in 10 minutes, boys," came the call from downstairs. The boys were so turned on they knew they had to deal with their new erections. They dropped to the bed next to each other and simply jerked off in what was an act of relief rather than an act of passion. When the boys came downstairs dressed in t-shirts, socks, and boxers Nolan's mother shook her head knowing she'd okayed the dress code. That didn't stop her from mentioning to the boys that they could have dressed up a little more for lunch, which earned her a classic eye roll from Nolan. "Mom, you said it was okay. We're doing what you said we could do." Knowing how Nolan's mother could be a little irrational at times, Aiden felt a bit uncomfortable with the situation. But after Vivian said she was only suggesting and that they hadn't done anything wrong, he relaxed. She did make a mental note, however, to talk to her son about the rudeness of rolling his eyes. It would not be their first chat about what her husband called typical young adolescent conduct. While he agreed it needed to be dealt with he was letting her know not to take his behavior personally. After eating the boys went down to the basement and started up a couple of trains. They talked about basketball as they worked on Nolan's Lego corner and watched the trains run. "Good games by you guys on Thursday," Nolan told Aiden. "You kicked some serious ass." The Titans had clobbered the Monte Bulldogs 40-22 at Monte, with Aiden scoring six points and dishing out five assists. Nolan's team had their bye on Thursday, so he had practice instead. "I had my first game with no turnovers," Aiden bragged. He knew from listening to his dads, Coach Meeker, and Coach Randall, that it was a rare game indeed that a guard who was a regular played an entire game without at least one turnover. He had received compliments from all of them about how much he'd improved. Even Barry Bender had nice things to say. "And, it was my second start," Aiden informed Nolan. "I'm still horny," Nolan said as sat on the operator's stool and moved the Northern Pacific passenger train into the yard. He started up a Union Pacific freight and moved it onto the mainline. "If I wasn't worried about my dad coming down, I'd run the trains and jerk off at the same time." He pulled down the front of his boxers to show Aiden that he had another erection, then pulled them back up. Aiden grinned, gave Nolan a quick kiss, and exposed his semi-hard cock, which he rubbed to a full erection. "Do any of your varsity players jerk off in the showers or on the team bus or anything?" "No, but Carter and I sit next to each other on the bus and talk about doing it, but we're both too chicken. I mean if the eighth graders don't do it, we're sure not going to. Why, do they do it on your team?" "Yeah, after our last game Barry Bender, Ron Burns, Michael James, and Yonder Sanchez were all doing it in the back of the bus. Me and Gordy were in the seat ahead of them and both got boners watching what they were doing." "Did they take their pants off?" "Nah, just opened their zippers and took their boners out. Barry was the only JV player doing it and the only one who had his pants all the way open; he had them pulled down to his knees. Trent was sitting in front of us and he told me later that he jerked off through his pocket and came in his pants." "Did any of those guys shoot?" "Yeah, they all did, or why would they want to jerk off on the bus?" "Good point," Nolan giggled. He hopped off the stool, stepped over to Aiden, put his arms around his boyfriend, and planted a wet kiss on his lips. Aiden reached inside of Nolan's boxers and fondled his erection. "Fuck, I can't believe how you get me all turned on," Nolan said as he jerked Aiden's boxers down and rubbed his finger along his boyfriend's crack. Aiden started to masturbate Nolan, but his friend stopped him. "This is dumb. Let's tie the trains down and go to my room before we get caught." Aiden nodded and pulled his boxers back up. Nolan sat on the stool so he could put the two trains they had been operating into the yard when Nolan's dad gave a quick rap on the door and stepped into the room. Both boys breathed a sigh of relief, happy that they had quit making out less than a minute ago. They gave each other a look that said, That was close. Paul's presence meant that they would not be heading back to Nolan's room. Instead, they ran trains with Nolan's father, including starting up the train parked in Nolan's Lego city. The boys' erections drooped quickly, and while they had to deal with an element of horniness, they had a great deal of fun running the model trains and doing some maintenance work with Nolan's dad. Neither boy resented that they couldn't make out. Instead they were grateful they'd each had a pair of orgasms together during Aiden's visit. When dinnertime approached, Paul and the boys tied down the three trains that they were operating and went upstairs to wash up and help Vivian with setting the table and getting the food out. Nolan, who felt bad about rolling his eyes and being snarky when his mother was being nice to him and Aiden by letting them be very informal in how they dressed, told Aiden he thought it would be a great idea for them to wear pants to dinner. Nolan put on a polo shirt as well and loaned one to Aiden. It was an older shirt that was too small for Nolan, but it fit Aiden. Nolan's mother was pleased when she saw that the boys were fully dressed. They asked what they could do to help and she put the boys right to work. She decided to go easy on the eye rolling lecture. She mentioned her displeasure but toned down the strength of her planned chat with her son. Nolan and Aiden decided to spend the time until Larry arrived in the den with Nolan's parents watching the University of Washington basketball game on TV. Since he had started playing serious basketball, Aiden's interest in the game had exploded tenfold. They were done making out for the visit, but both boys felt good about being with the family, even if it was to watch basketball on television. Paul noticed that the boys, who were on the couch, were sitting close enough to touch and wondered if that proximity had any significance. Vivian was too busy going back and forth between crocheting and watching the game to notice how close they were. Aiden and Nolan wished they could hold hands, but they were satisfied with their legs touching and rubbing lightly together. They were certain nobody noticed. The Huskies wrapped up a 77-71 win just a few minutes before Larry was due to arrive. Nolan and Aiden went to Nolan's room. Aiden removed Nolan's polo shirt and grabbed his t-shirt off the bed. Before he could put it on, Nolan held him and kissed his left nipple, then sucked his right nipple, before giving Aiden a long kiss on the lips. "I love you, Aiden. I know I really love you," Nolan said as he locked his dark brown eyes onto Aiden's baby blues. Then Aiden said the words that Nolan had been waiting for. "I love you, too, Nolan. I'm so happy we're boyfriends. I was, like almost worried that if I had a boyfriend then I must be gay and now I know that was dumb. You're my boyfriend. I love you. I don't need to know anything else." Nolan unbuckled Aiden's belt, opened the button on his jeans and started pulling down the zipper when they heard Paul call out, "Aiden, your dad is here." "Well, we were lucky to get this far," Aiden grinned. "I'll text you when I get home." He closed his pants, pulled on his t-shirt and jacket, and gave Nolan a final kiss. "I love you," he said as they broke off. Aiden thought that saying those words seriously made them sound very grown up. But, when he thought about it, the act of having a boyfriend was very grown up.
