It is loosely modeled on events that occurred many years ago. While I have attempted to research historical facts, I can give no guarantee as to the accuracy of any details contained within. Those who are interested can always do their own research for their own purposes. The locations and place names described do exist, and I have been to most of them. Any details referring to any location are based on what I know personally about that location, and what history I have been able to gather with regard to that location twenty to thirty years ago. This is intended to be a long-term story, and as such it is necessary for the first chapter to set the scene and gradually build up to the events that follow. This is my first attempt at writing a story for alt.sex.stories. I have written three chapters so far, all of which are posted here. I would be interested to hear any comments and constructive criticism, and also any ideas as to how later chapters may be developed. Any flames will be ignored. PS - I attempted to post this once, not realizing the anon.penet.fi server truncates anything following a line with two '-' characters. As a result, because of the lines I was using to underline headings, nothing was getting through. Oh well, let's hope this attempt is more successful! Thanks for bearing with me. Preface ******* On 21 April 1967, a group of Army officers in the Greek military executed a coup d'etat, overthrowing the civilian government and seizing control. Several articles of the Greek constitution were suspended, political parties were outlawed, thousands of political opponents were arrested and thrown into jail, the press was censored, martial law declared and the movement of people severely curtailed. This is the story of Alan, a thirteen year old British boy living in Athens at the time of the coup. Chapter One *********** 20 April 1967 "Malcolm, hurry up, you'll miss the sunset!" Sarah called to her husband from the balcony. "Just coming! Where's Alan?" Malcolm replied, walking through the apartment with a glass of retsina in his hand. "He's outside, playing with a couple of school friends. I thought he was supposed to be in by now." Malcolm shrugged. "Well, if he's too late for dinner, that's his lookout." Just at that moment the door opened. "Oh, there you are!" Sarah exclaimed. Alan walked into the room. "Yeah, sorry I'm a bit late. Didn't notice the time." "Never mind. Get yourself a drink. It's going to be a marvelous sunset tonight." "Okay!" said Alan, disappearing into the kitchen. Sarah turned to her husband. "Have you had the news on lately?" "Yeah, and quite frankly, I don't like what I hear. The political situation seems very unstable at the moment. I don't like what's going on at all. It seems as if the Government are unable to keep things in control. If only Karamanlis was still in power." "Well, you know he resigned and is now not even living in the country. We're stuck with Kanellopoulos now." "Oh well, tomorrow's another day. Hey, the sun's just starting to dip over the Peloponesse. Alan, Ella." Malcolm used the Greek word that means, "Come here." The view over the sea was truly something to behold. The island of Eghina loomed up out of the sea to the left, a large silhouette against the deepest blue of the water reflecting a tinge of purple from the reflection of the fiery sun and the blood red sky. Behind Eghina the Peloponnese mountains curved their way many miles away on the horizon, but even from that distance still looking very large and real. Moving further to the right, the coastline swept around in a curve, where the Peloponnese joined the Attica peninsula, and the port of Piraeus could be seen in the distance. "There, it's gone." Sarah breathed. "Incredible." Alan had seen dozens of sunsets but each one never failed to entrance him. "You could actually see it vanish into the mountains. I never thought it would be possible to see the sun actually move, but it just vanished into the ground before our very eyes!" "It sure did. Right, dinner time. Come on, let's bring those glasses through." Malcolm picked up his glass as he spoke. Dinner turned out to be a mezza, a mixture of different hors d'oeuvre including taramasalata, dolmades, stuffed tomatoes and feta cheese. This was followed by souvlaki, roast lamb served on sticks with rice and roast potatoes. After the plates had been cleared away and they started on the Greek yogurt, Malcolm switched the radio on. All three of them spoke Greek, even though they came from England originally. Malcolm Hunt had been in the British Army, serving in Cyprus, and had met Sarah in 1952 on the beach in the sleepy seaside town of Ayia Napa, not far from the British sovereign base at Dhekelia. After a whirlwind romance, he proposed to her. They got engaged the next day and married a year and a half later, shortly after Malcolm left the Army. They decided to move to Athens and set up a home there. They eventually settled in the municipality of Glyfada, about twenty minutes by road from the heart of the capital, Syntagma. Alan followed the next year, in 1954, and was now thirteen. In 1961, they applied for Greek citizenship. Their application successful, they subsequently held dual nationality. Malcolm had become very active on the local political scene, being elected as a councilor for the Radical Centre Union party, the E.R.D. The voice from the radio was narrating the days events in Parliament. Apparently, the PM, Kanellopoulos, was attempting to pacify supporters after it emerged that dissatisfaction in the Army was spreading. "This smells really bad," said Malcolm. "I fear for what might happen." "Mum, can I go outside again? I want to look at the night sky with Dimitri and Petros." "Okay," Sarah laughed. "Don't be too late in." "I won't," Alan replied, bounding to the door. "You're too soft on him," said Malcolm once Alan had gone. "Nah, boys will be boys. Let them enjoy themselves while they're young." "Yeah, guess you're right. Okay, I'm off to bed. Coming?" "Yep, I'm feeling rather tired now." 21 April 1967 The night sky shone brightly overhead. It had just gone midnight, and the moon gave plenty of light to see by. Petros and Dimitri were brothers. Petros was fourteen, a year older than Dimitri, who was thirteen. They lived quite close to the Hunt family, and got on well with Alan's parents. Alan looked at his watch. "I really ought to be getting back." "It's only just gone midnight," Dimitri protested. "There's plenty of time. Let's go a bit further up the hill." They had slipped away from the residential area known as Ano Glyfada, or upper Glyfada, and worked their way a considerable distance up the Imitos mountains that rise up above Glyfada and Voula on one side, and the districts of Papagou and Hologos on the other. The air felt a little fresh, but although it wasn't yet summer the weather was unusually warm. "Look, you can see all the way across to Piraeus over there," Petros spoke in a whisper, even though there wasn't anyone around. "Hey, look what I've found!" Alan exclaimed excitedly, causing the two brothers to look around. "Looks like a cave or something," said Petros, who knew the area pretty well. "Let's go down and explore," said Alan, starting forward. "Wait a minute." Petros had a worried look on his face. "That may not be a good idea. Not this time of night. There's no idea what might be down there. We'd better wait until daylight, and even then we should take a lantern." "I guess," Alan shrugged. "Besides," said Dimitri, "if anything happened, if one of us slipped, who'd know where we were?" "So what shall we do now? Go further on?" asked Alan. Petros looked at the others. "A bit further. Come one o'clock we really should start heading back." "Fine by me," said Dimitri. "Me too," repeated Alan. "See that boulder ahead?" Dimitri pointed to a dull object about fifty yards up the hill. "Race you to it. Ready, steady, go!" And with that they all started running. Back in Glyfada, Sarah woke up feeling thirsty. She looked at the clock. It read a quarter to one. She eased out of bed carefully so as not to disturb Malcolm. Finding her slippers, she crept into the kitchen. She found a glass in the cupboard and, opening the fridge, poured some water from the bottle. She closed the fridge door and was just about to go back towards the bedroom when she noticed that the front door wasn't locked. That stupid kid, she thought to herself. He knows damn well he's supposed to lock up when he gets in. I'll wring his neck in the morning. Then she noticed that Alan's anorak was missing. Oh well, she tried to convince herself, he's probably come back and collapsed from exhaustion. But a faint stirring of unease made itself felt in her stomach. Putting the water down, she walked down the corridor towards Alan's bedroom. The door opened quietly. She could see the bed was empty. She panicked, turned, and ran to her own bedroom. "Malcolm," she spoke quietly but urgently, shaking him awake at the same time. "Malcolm, wake up. Alan's not here." "Uhhh... w...what...what is it?" "Alan's missing. His bed's not been slept in." "Alan's what?" he said, still half asleep. "Malcolm, wake up!" Susan repeated, starting to shake Malcolm again. "Alan's missing?" Malcolm said, sitting up in bed. "Yes, the front door's not locked from inside, his anorak's not here and his bed's empty." "Guess we'd better phone the police." A worried frown crossed Malcolm's brow. He got up and went into the hall. Picking up the phone, he started to dial the number of the local police station. "That's funny, there's no dial tone." "Probably broken as usual." The telephone system in Greece was notorious for going on the blink every so often. Malcolm tried again. "No, nothing. I'll keep trying every fifteen minutes." He walked into the kitchen and switched the radio on. "There's nothing wrong with the power," he said, returning the radio to one of the all-night stations. "I have no idea what's going on, but none of the radio stations seem to be working. There's no signal on any of the wavebands." Sarah thought for a minute. It's almost one o'clock. Try the BBC World Service." The time signal counted down the last six seconds to the hour. Then the announcer came on air. "There are reports from the Greek capital Athens that a group of Army officers have executed a coup d'etat, overthrowing the civilian government of Mr. Kanellopoulos..." "Oh my God," breathed Malcolm. Susan paled. "Initial reports suggest that King Konstantine is prepared to support the new regime, which took power at approximately a quarter past midnight, local time, just over forty-five minutes ago." Malcolm walked over to the front room window, which overlooked the coast of Glyfada and gave a clear view of the Athens-Sounion road called Vouliagmenis Avenue. They had many times gone through the town of Vouliagmeni itself en route to the seaside town Varkiza. Tonight, the Vouliagmenis road looked quiet. So far, so predictable. Forty five minutes was no time for anything to have changed. Malcolm still hoped against hope that the BBC had got it wrong, that there was no coup and everything would still be the same tomorrow. He knew however, deep down, that something was wrong. Why else would the telephone lines be down? And what about the radio stations? There were too many things to ignore, and Malcolm did not believe in coincidences. From their vantage point up in the hills in the Imitos range, Alan and the brothers had a clear vantage point and could see what Malcolm could not. Far away, tanks were rolling out of Athens. They were moving in all directions. Even in the dark, their lights gave clear warning that they were moving. They could not be anything but tanks. They were heading down the Vouliagmenis road. Some had already reached Alimos and had started to turn off the Vouliagmenis road, like the arms of an octopus reaching everywhere. Others came further down, going through Alimos towards Elliniko. "Hey, what's going on?" Alan asked. Petros shrugged. "Probably late night maneuvers." "At this time of night?" "I don't know, you never know what they might do." "Perhaps a dangerous villain escaped," suggested Dimitri. "Twit, they'd never mobilize half the Army just for an escaped convict." Alan frowned. "No, something's definitely wrong. I don't like this at all." They watched the tanks advance closer and closer. They were not far from Glyfada now. As the advancing artillery inched its way forward, Malcolm was fiddling with the wireless set, trying to pick up any news on what might have happened. Scanning through the usual frequencies, he eventually discovered the state-run station was back in operation. It confirmed that a coup had taken place, and that Kanellopoulos had been placed under house arrest. It also reported that a curfew would operate throughout the hours of darkness. Anyone who broke the curfew was liable to be shot on sight. "Oh God! Alan, where is that stupid kid?" Malcolm shouted. "Do you think we'd better look for him?" asked Sarah. Malcolm shrugged. "Someone'd better. He's in danger our there, on his own." "He's not on his own. He's with Petros and Dimitri." "Yes, that's what worries me. I'm starting to wish we'd never let him out tonight." "Yes, well, we'd never imagined this would happen, did we?" Susan said soothingly. "I'll give it another fifteen minutes." He looked at his watch. "If he's not back by one thirty I'm going out to look for him." Susan frowned. "Are you sure that's wise? He'll probably turn up any minute." "Let's see." And with that he turned and went into the front room, gazing out of the windows. Alan could see the tanks snaking their way down Vouliagmenis. Already they had reached Glyfada, and were crawling through the centre of the district. More tanks kept on the main road, some turning off at Voula, others heading towards Vouliagmeni itself. Alan watched all this, fascinated. "I wonder what they're all doing," he said. Petros snorted. "They've all gone berserk. Look, they've been advancing in all directions. You can see their lights. They're all over the place. Look, over there," he pointed towards Elliniko and Alimos, "and there's more coming out of Athens even now." Alan shivered. "What's the matter?" asked Dimitri. "I've just got a bad feeling about this. I think if you guys don't mind I'm going back." "Okay, come on Dimitri," said Petros. "Why can't we stay out a bit longer?" "Because it's time to go now. Come on." Petros tugged Dimitri by the arm as he spoke. The three of them traipsed back down the hill. The view of the surrounding countryside diminished as they lost height, but they got a clearer view of the village spread before them where they lived. Soon they found the road leading into Glyfada. "We head off here," Petros said as they came to a crossroads. "Cheer up," he said, noticing the worried look on Alan's face. "It'll probably be something and nothing. See you in the morning." "See ya." Alan turned and wondered back to his house. He knew of a short cut that would save him five minutes off the journey. He wondered why he felt surprise at hearing the wail of the police sirens in the distance. He ducked into the undergrowth as they got louder, so they didn't see him as they swept past. Alan wasn't the only one to hear the police cars. Malcolm saw the blue flashing lights as they swarmed out of the town centre. All of a sudden there was a knock at the door. Malcolm went to open it. It was the police. "Nai?" "Please come with us," the policeman said in Greek. "Is something wrong?" When the policeman gave no answer, Malcolm repeated, "Is something the matter? Is it Alan?" "You're coming with us," the policeman replied, grabbing Malcolm by the wrist. "At least let me put some clothes on," Malcolm protested. He knew about the coup from the radio, so he wasn't really all that surprised, but Susan was. "Why are you doing this?" she demanded. "Orders," was the only response. The policeman started leading Malcolm down the stairs. Another policeman took Sarah by the arm and followed. Alan paused for a minute after the police cars went by, but on hearing nothing else decided it was safe to carry on. He came within sight of his home a few minutes later. He could see it clearly in the distance. Then he noticed the police cars parked outside. There were two of them. "Uh?" was all he could say. The door opened, and Alan could see his father being led out of the building. He stood still, frozen. Then his mother appeared. Alan suddenly found his voice. "Mum? What's happening?" One of the policemen spun around and saw him. He started walking towards Alan. "Alan! Run!" screamed Sarah. "W...what?" By this time Alan was totally confused. "Run! Get the hell out of here! Don't let them catch you!" Susan yelled almost hysterically. Alan turned around and started running. The policeman tried to run after him. Alan ran and ran like he had never run before in his life. The policeman had difficulty keeping up, and eventually lost him. Alan kept on running until, at the point of exhaustion, his heart pounding, he slowed and stumbled along, with no idea where he was heading. Chapter Two *********** Alan trudged on, not knowing how far or for how long he was going. As he walked, he tried to piece together in his mind what had happened. Why all the police cars? What was the Army doing out in such force? And why should they be so interested in his parents? He suddenly felt his knees give from under him, and realized he needed to sit down. He glanced around, and saw that he was in what looked like a deserted industrial estate. He was surrounded by derelict buildings, and a strange smell pervaded the air. Alan collapsed on the ground and just lay there, not knowing what to do next. He felt his eyes closing and struggled in a vain effort to keep himself awake. He felt himself drifting off to sleep. As he dozed, the images he had seen earlier played themselves in his mind over and over again. The tanks spewing out of central Athens and crawling all over the place, the police cars roaring past, the police officers wanting to see his parents, his mother yelling at him to flee from the police. Into his subconscious entered the sound of footsteps. He wondered whey they were coming from. Then he heard breathing. A voice spoke in Greek. "And just what do you think you are doing here?" Alan awoke, and looked up into the eyes of another kid, who was about the same age as himself. He started, and tried to scramble to his feet. To no avail. The boy grabbed him in a headlock and started dragging him towards one of the buildings. "What are you doing..." Alan started to say. "Oi, get your hands off of me. Help..." he tried to shout. A hand came across his mouth. "Shut up. If the police find you here you'll be dead. What the hell do you think you're doing out here in any case? Ain't you heard the news?" Alan stopped struggling. "What news?" The kid relaxed his grip on Alan. "The Army seized power down town. There's a curfew. Which you're breaking. So am I. The police and Army have orders to shoot on sight. Just a good thing I found you when I did, and not some military patrol." "You mean, a coup has taken place." "That's right. They find us now, we're chicken feed. Breaking the curfew an' all that." Alan paused, mystified. "Don't stop." The kid jerked roughly at him. "But, what are you doing here?" Alan was trying to think this over. None of it made any sense. "It's a long story." The kid laughed. "Say, do you know this area?" "No." "We've got to find somewhere to hide. I think you'd better come with me." "I don't even know you." Alan had repeatedly been told not to go with strangers. "Got any better ideas?" the kid said sarcastically. Alan shrugged. "No." "Come on. We'll find somewhere to hide for the night, then you can get back to your folks in the morning." "I can't though." Tears came into Alan's eyes. "The police came for them. I don't know where they are." "Oh shit, you are in bother." The kid ducked under the roof of a low gap in the wall. "Get yourself in here." They passed through a gap and into a small room. It was pitch black. Alan couldn't see a hand in front of him. "Here, how do you know about this place?" The kid laughed. "I've often spent the night here. Say, what's your name?" "Alan. What's yours?" "Andreas. That's a British name," he observed. "Yeah, my parents are British, and I have dual nationality." "Would you believe it, so are mine. My real name's Andrew, but most people call me Andreas." "You mean, you're British too?" "Yeah," Andrew muttered. "Bit of a long story. Mind where you're going." Alan could just about make out where they were. They appeared to be in a sort of crevice in the wall. It was not very big, and there was just enough room for both of them to sit down on some sort of ledge, although they were almost on top of each other. "I must say," said Alan, "for a British boy you speak very good Greek." "So do you. Did you learn it at school?" "Yes, and both my parents speak it. In fact, my English is almost second rate." Andrew switched to English. "Nonsense. I've had no shortage of people to practice English on, and yours isn't bad at all." Alan didn't answer for a minute. He was thinking about what had happened to his parents before. "Something the matter?" asked Andrew. "I'm just a bit worried about what happened to my folks." Andrew paused a minute. "Why should the police come after them?" "I've no idea. They haven't done anything, not as far as I know." "What do they do for a living?" "Well, my father's a local councilor..." "You're joking? Man, this is bad news." "How come?" "Look at what happened. There's been a coup down town. What d'you think the new regime would want to do first thing? Neutralize any possible opposition. My guess is they're rounding up political opponents by the dozen." "You mean...?" Alan could hardly take this in. "Yes, you're in deep, mate." Alan just sat there, stunned. Silence filled the air for a couple of minutes. Andrew yawned. "We'd better try and get a bit of sleep. Try and figure something out for the morning." Alan tried to get comfortable. He shuffled around this way and that, but the gap they were in was so cramped that it was difficult to find a resting position. Andrew grabbed his arm. "There's little enough room for one here. You'll just have to lie down on top of me." Alan laughed disbelievingly. "You are joking?" "We don't have much choice. I ain't gonna say anything. Don't worry, I won't bite or nothing." Alan remained where he was for a second, then shrugged and leaned over towards Andrew, who had moved his arms out of the way. Alan's head came to rest on Andrew's chest. As Alan relaxed, Andrew wrapped his arms around Alan, hugging him close. In the meantime, Alan's own arms had come to rest around Andrew's head. It was uncomfortable for Alan to keep them out of the way, so he wrapped them around Andrew's neck. "There, that wasn't so terrible, was it?" murmured Andrew. "Just feels weird, that's all. I've never even hugged a girl before," admitted Alan. "Yeah, well I think this is just a case of, 'Needs must when the Devil drives'. You'll feel better come the morning. Sleep tight!" "See you in the morning," Alan murmured. He sighed and snuggled closer into Andrew, letting the tension drain away from his body. He had felt a bit awkward at first, but the awkwardness was fast vanishing. Alan started thinking once again about what had happened. He thought about the Army tanks crawling all over the place. The police cars. He wondered why the police had come for his folks. Then it hit him. There's been a coup down town. So, what is a coup? A sudden and violent seizure of state power by a small group. What would the new regime want to do? Why, get rid of any opposition to them. Andrew's words replayed themselves in his head. My guess is they're rounding up political opponents by the dozen. Alan felt cold, numb. He realized what the police were doing. And he felt fear for his folks, for what might happen to them. There was more. He felt worried sick. Unable to stop himself, he felt tears rising up in him and he started crying. "What are you crying about?" asked Andrew. "I'm scared," sobbed Alan. "What about?" "What's happened to my parents. What might happen to them." "There, there," said Andrew soothingly, starting to rub Alan's back as he spoke. "You need to get some sleep, my friend. Things will seem better in the morning." Alan wasn't sure how things could be any better in the morning, but Andrew's massage was having a soothing effect on him. He relaxed a bit more and soon was purring under Andrew's hands working on his back. "Does that feel good?" asked Andrew. "Ummm, very good." "Just relax and go to sleep." Alan felt himself drifting off to sleep, still a little worried about what had happened that night, but as Andrew's hands massaged his neck, shoulders and back he was engulfed by waves of sleep. Chapter Three ************* Alan woke up the following morning still lying on top of Andrew. He realized this as he gradually came to, and in a panic tried to get off him. His movements woke up Andrew. "Morning." Andrew saw Alan's frantic movements, and reached out to him. "Hey, relax, buddy, it's okay." He pulled Alan to him. "What's the matter, afraid of being spotted like this?" Alan paused. He felt rather worried. Not only did lying on top of Andrew feel real comfortable, it made him feel good too. This worried him. He felt as if he shouldn't be enjoying the feelings he was experiencing, and yet he didn't have the willpower to get up. And if Andrew acquiesced . . . to hell with it. Alan just let himself relax. "Funny, isn't it? I don't even know you, yet I end up lying on top of you in a strange building." "And how did you sleep last night? Was I that bad a bed?" Alan burst out laughing. "No, I liked it very much." He let his body melt into Andrew. "Did you sleep well," Andrew asked him. "Yes." "I should say you did, you were all over me in your sleep." "What...?" gasped Alan, alarmed. "Don't worry, I enjoyed it." He hugged Alan to him. "What do ya mean I was all over you?" "Well, you were feeling me up all around, and I could swear you had an erection." "Yeah, well that doesn't mean anything. How many times have you woken up hard?" Andrew grinned sheepishly. "Quite a few. Anyway, guess we'd better get up." "No . . . wait," Alan blushed deep red, then paused, embarrassed. "What?" Andrew said with a grin on his face. "Let's just lie here a bit longer." Alan felt a bit funny having said this, but Andrew wasn't complaining. Alan tried to stretch himself. On his makeshift bed that wasn't easy. "What was the idea last night?" "What do you mean?" Alan shrugged. "You know, your hands, rubbing me up like that." "Oh, sorry about that. You just sounded as if you could do with a bit of loosening up." "No, don't apologize. I really liked it." "You did?" "Yeah. That's the weird thing. I'd never in a million years have figured I'd enjoy being felt up like I was, and it felt real good us lying here together." He gave Andrew a squeeze. "Still does, like. But I somehow don't feel comfortable about it." "Did you like it?" "Yes." "And do you like the way we're lying now?" "Yes. Do you?" "Feels great. So stop worrying. Just enjoy the moment." A minute or so went by without a word being spoken. They both just lay there, enjoying the feel of the other. Then something came into Alan's mind that had been niggling at him. "What were you doing out here last night?" A frown crossed Andrew's brow. "My Dad's in Marousi for the night, and my Mum doesn't care what happens to me. So I just thought I'd be as well kipping down somewhere here." "Do you often spend the night out?" "Yes, sometimes if I just want to be alone, I find somewhere to hang out. That's how I found this place." "Don't your parents get on or something?" "Usually they do, but sometimes they argue. So I just slip away and do my own thing. They don't seem to mind." Another pause. "You know how you were rubbing me last night?" asked Alan. "Uh-huh," said Andrew in reply "Any chance you could do that again? I really liked it." An impish smile crossed Andrew's face. "You really are getting sexed up, aren't you?" Alan blushed. "Nah, surely not?" Although for some strange reason he really liked being in contact with Andrew. He sighed as Andrew's hands started caressing his back and neck. He felt at ease, as if there was nothing better than to be massaged like this. He stretched out a bit further and started stroking Andrew on the neck. Andrew's hands continued to play all over his back, stroking firm down the shoulder blades and massaging his sides. The hands started to feel their way a bit lower, reaching down to the small of Alan's back and rubbing the waist. Almost as if by accident, Andrew allowed his hands to run over the belt area and reach just a little bit over the waist area. He kept this up for a few minutes then, noticing no signs of protest, started massaging Alan's buttocks. In the meantime, Alan had started to purr as if he was really enjoying himself. Andrew was making him feel real good inside. He couldn't remember feeling so at ease with the world before. He felt the hands move lower down him. In his muddled up mind he knew he should protest, cry out, put a stop to it. But his body wouldn't obey him. He was really into getting rubbed like this. "Mmmmm, that feels wonderful," he murmured. "Yeah, I know," replied Andrew, continuing to let his hands play around Alan's buttocks. Then, he let go his hold on Alan. "Turn over," he said. Alan didn't need to be told twice. He carefully repositioned himself so that he was lying on top of Andrew, face up. Andrew's hands reached for his chest and started moving around. He soon reached further down Alan's body and ran his hands up inside Alan's shirt, feeling the bare skin. As his arms brushed across Alan's crotch, he could feel the protrusion coming from the trousers. "My, this really turns you on, doesn't it?" said Andrew. All Alan could do was nod his head in response. Andrew was feeling a bit more adventurous by this time. He eased his hand underneath the belt, feeling around. He felt Alan jump. "Just relax," he said. He could feel that Alan already had an erection, quite a big one. He slid his hand below Alan's underwear and felt for the object causing Alan's trousers to tent out so far. He started fondling Alan's cock, slowly stroking it up and down. Alan moaned in appreciation. By this time, Andrew was also considerably aroused, and Alan could feel something hard poking against his ass. To his surprise, he pushed against it, knowing that doing so could only send one signal to his friend. He wriggled his hips against the lump pressing against his ass. As he did so, Andrew thrust himself upwards, pushing himself against Alan's ass. He withdrew his hand from Alan's crotch, wrapped both his arms around Alan's chest, and hugged Alan to him tightly. Alan tried, and eventually managed, to turn around again. Drawing himself up level with Andrew, he sank down into Andrew's arms and they hugged each other affectionately. "I really think we ought to make a move," sighed Andrew. "Guess you're right." He shifted himself to his feet. For the first time, Alan could really look around at where they were. The "room" was quite small, and appeared to have been formed when a section of building collapsed, leaving just the crack in the outer wall and the surrounding material. Not all that big, but quite adequate to hide from someone for the night. Alan held a hand out. Andrew grasped onto it and pulled himself up. "We've got to slip out of here without being seen. There's a way out onto the main road. We should be able to make it." Suddenly Alan realized he had no idea where they were. "Hey, Andrew, where are we?" "You don't know? We're in some deserted warehouse area in Vari. Why? Where do you live?" "Glyfada." "Jeez, you're miles from anywhere." Vari is about half way between Voula and the seaside resort of Varkiza, two kilometres between the two. "Where do you live?" "Voula." "Andrew, I'm supposed to be at school sometime." "Forget school. If the police have any sense at all, they'll be waiting for you to turn up there. No, you'd better come with me." "How do I know I can trust you?" "You don't." Andrew sighed. "I don't think you really have much of a choice. You can either come with me, or take your chances with the authorities. Take your pick." Alan shrugged. "I guess we'd better go, then, eh?" Andrew led the way. "It's about two kilometres from here." The journey took them about twenty minutes. Although they could walk at a brisk pace, they stayed off the main roads for fear of running into any patrols. They were talking as they went along. "I really need to find a radio that works," said Alan, "The radio stations will have been censored by now," replied Andrew. "Maybe. What about the BBC World Service? Or Voice of America?" "They're on short wave." "And have you got a short wave radio?" "I don't know," replied Andrew. Think so. Ah, here we are." They had arrived in Ano Voula. The apartment Andrew was gesturing to was a four story affair, whitewashed, with balconies running all around, Greek style. The top floor looked as if it would command a good view from the sea. Andrew pushed the buzzer. After a minute or so delay, the speaker crackled to life. "Nai?" "It's Andrew. Open up." A buzzer went off as the door was let off the catch. Andrew pushed, leading both of them inside. They climbed the stairs. It felt like a long way up. As they passed the second level, Alan asked, "Which level are you on?" "The top one," said Andrew. Alan let out a whistle. "Wow, that's pretty neat, huh?" Alan shrugged and said nothing. Arriving at the top of the stairs, Andrew knocked on the door. Hardly had he stopped knocking when the door flew open. A woman appeared from inside, lunged out and grabbed hold of Andrew, yanking him inside. "Good heavens, there you are. We were worried sick. What on earth possessed you to go wandering off in the night?" Just at that moment she saw Alan. "Hallo, who's this?" "This is Alan," said Andrew, doing the introductions. "Alan, meet Glenda, my mother." "Hi." "And where did you spring from?" Andrew took a step into the room. "He's okay. Found him outside last night in Vari. He'd run all the way there from Glyfada . . ." "From Glyfada?" Glenda's voice clearly registered surprise. "Yeah, the police came round his place last night and picked up his folks. He only got away by the skin of his teeth." "My, my, you poor dear, we'll have to get something sorted out." She looked at Alan. "My husband's due back from Marousi this afternoon, we'll see what we can do. In the meantime, you stay here with Andrew." "My Dad works at the British Embassy, you know," added Andrew. "Really? Is he a diplomat, or something?" Andrew smiled. "No, he just works there. He does know quite a few important people, though." Glenda coughed. "Well, I've got to pop off for two or three hours. I'll be right back." The door closed behind her. The boys just stood there and looked at each other. It was Alan who broke the silence. "Wow, your Mum's cool. What did she mean about getting something sorted out?" "Wait until my Dad's home. He'll have a talk with you. Wanna see my room?" "Yeah, alright." Andrew's room was fair sized. There were posters on the walls of aircraft, pictures of the latest warplanes at the US Air Force base in Glyfada, pictures of cars and all sorts. A radio stood in one corner, and the bed was covered with a duvet bearing the Stars and Stripes, and various aircraft, on it. "You into flying, then?" asked Alan. "Not really. Just something I like to look at. Can't see myself as a pilot." Andrew's face lit up in a wicked grin. He crossed over to a drawer, and pulled out a folded up poster. "Here, have a look at this." Alan unfolded it, and gasped. It was a pull-out from a magazine, and had a picture of a naked woman being fucked up the ass from behind. "Gee whizz, where on earth did you get this?" "A pal gave it to me. Good, isn't it?" "I'll say." Although Alan had heard of magazines like that, he had never seen one before. Now, though, he found himself getting aroused by it, a fact that Andrew did not fail to notice. "Do you ever jack off?" he asked. "Not all that often." In fact, Alan had discovered the joy of jerking himself off a couple of years ago, but had thought it weird that he should like it, so he didn't do it all that often. "I do," replied Andrew. "Almost every day." "Isn't it, like, bad to do that?" asked Alan. "I don't think so. There are people who say it is, but they don't run my life for me, so I say the heck with them." All of a sudden, Andrew bent down, aimed himself at Alan's chest, and lunged forward, grasping Alan around the back and wrestling him to the bed. "What the . . ." Alan started to say. Then he realized that Andrew was playing with him, and started to wrestle him in return. They fought each other for a few minutes, rolling around on the bed, until both collapsed in a heap, exhausted. As Alan got his breath back, he realized that he was in contact with Andrew's body, very much like what had happened earlier on. What's more, he was starting to get hard again. Seeing Andrew lying on his back, Alan clambered on top of him and pinned his arms down by his side to the bed. Andrew struggled against the restraint. While doing so, he clearly showed off the bulge in his trousers. He went limp all of a sudden, then pressed down and to the side, slipping out of Alan's grasp. Caught off balance, Alan stumbled and fell onto the bed, face down. Andrew climbed on top of him and just lay there for a moment. Grasping the magazine pull out, he turned Alan's head to the side so that he could see it. "Alan, is it this that's causing your trousers to tent out, or something else?" Alan turned bright red. He tried to say something, but couldn't. "Okay, don't say anything," said Andrew. He eased himself off Alan, and rolled him over. He reached down and unbuckled Alan's belt, easing the zip down and undoing the button fastener. He eased the trousers down Alan's legs. Alan arched himself in the air to make it easier for the trousers to come down. Andrew reached towards the bulging underwear, stroking the protrusion with his hand. He eased a hand inside, then pulled the underwear down as well, exposing Alan's genitals. He grasped Alan's cock and stroked it up and down a few times. Then he stood up and stripped himself, clothes flying in all directions. All this time Alan had just laid on the bed looking dazed. Andrew, now naked, grabbed Alan by one arm and pulled him into a sitting position. Andrew started to unbutton the shirt in front of him. As he did so, Alan started to look uncomfortable. "I . . . I'm not sure I ought to be doing this . . ." he stammered. "Shhhhh, just relax. I'm not going to hurt you. Just let it happen." The shirt came flying off. Having removed the last items from Alan's body, Andrew pushed his friend back down onto the bed and leaned over him. He dug his arms underneath and around his friend and pulled Andrew to him in a big hug, which was warmly returned. Andrew then moved his head over Alan. Their faces drew together. Alan knew what was coming and thought the idea of kissing was bad, but he felt powerless to stop it. Indeed, when Andrew's lips met his he found himself kissing back, his tongue darting into the other's mouth. Their tongues met and wrestled with each other, all this time the passion building up between them. Andrew eventually moved away from Alan's face. He shut both of Alan's eyes, kissing them as he did so, them moved down his friend's body. He found a nipple and flicked his tongue over it, then sucked on it. At the same time, he rubbed the other nipple, making both of them become hard and pointed. He moved on lower down, playing with both nipples as his face left a trail of kisses all over Alan's chest and midriff. Alan squirmed around under him. He was getting really hot. Alan then felt something brush against his penis. He felt a moist sensation on it, and opened his eyes to see what was going on. He almost passed out when he saw Andrew's head over his crotch. The sensations he was getting as Andrew sucked on him were better than anything he had ever felt before in his life. He had of course brought himself to orgasm a few times before, and had even squirted white stuff all over the place recently, but not even playing with himself had given him the feelings he was experiencing at the moment. He bucked his hips, forcing a little more into Andrew's mouth, moaning with pleasure. Andrew withdrew until he had just the tip of Alan's cock in his mouth. He swirled his tongue around the head, drinking in the wonderful musky goodness. He loved the taste. He knew that he wanted to do this, knew that he felt quite at home being fed the intoxicating scent emanating from the flesh in his mouth. Even though he had never done anything like this before, he knew that it was perfectly natural for him to enjoy the feelings that this was giving him. Although Alan would not have really wanted this to happen had he ever given it a moment's thought in the past (which he had not) he was past caring. He felt the distant stirrings of an orgasm begin deep within him, stirrings which quickly grew and grew, erupting into a massive orgasm more intense than anything he had experienced. He felt the tingling in his balls as they fired their load down his penis and into Andrew's mouth. Andrew could feel the penis in his mouth expand, and he knew that Alan was close to orgasm. He increased his suction, and as Alan began to thrash on the bed beneath him he appreciatively lapped up the liquid delivered into his mouth, savoring the taste. Andrew collapsed on top of Alan, feeling curiously drained. He brought himself face to face with his friend. Alan had a big smile on his face, and his eyes were closed. His breathing, heavy at first, started returning to normal. Finally he sighed, and opening his eyes looked up to see Andrew looking at him. "Wow, that was fantastic," he said. "Good heavens above, where ever did you learn how to do that?" "Nowhere. That was the first time I ever tried it." "You mean you've never done that before? That was so intense. I can't describe what it was like." Their faces drew together and they kissed deeply for several minutes. They could both feel some sort of bond forming between them, and they knew that what had just taken place wasn't just important physically; it went far deeper than that. They drew apart. A thought occurred to Alan. "Funny, isn't it. We only met last night, and already we're carrying on as if we've known each other for years." "I hope we do know each other for years. I never felt such an immediate attraction to anyone before now," said Andrew, lying back on top of the duvet. "Although I'm feeling just a little tired right now. I think I'll try to doze for a bit." "Me too. I still don't know what to do about this fix I'm in right now." Alan sighed. "Still, I need to doze too." He laid down next to Andrew and was soon asleep. Andrew rested his head on Alan's chest, and let his arm rest down by Alan's side. He too was soon fast asleep.
