"Before I
release you to find your dorms, I would like to say our unofficial School motto:
the only failure is not trying. Everything else is just a lesson."
There was very
mild laughter and some applause as the auditorium of eleven-year-olds did not
quite know what to make of that. The principal was not perturbed by the
confused reaction as he went on to say. "Go find your dorm advisor 1
through 8 on the right as you leave 9 through 16 on the left. You'll see the
signs. Your advisors will be there between around ten minutes from now."
The principal said, stepping back from the podium and walking off stage.
Levi looked down
from the balcony as the kids started to file out. He briefly wondered which
ones would be in his group. The paper that had been given to him contained a
little more than names and a few pertinent pieces of information. Nothing he
thought would be too helpful.
"There goes
the fresh meat."
Levi rolled his
eyes. "There's a good way to think of them."
"Why are you
so uptight? You're usually more fun than this." Dan said as he gave his
friend a little shove with his shoulder. "Lighten up. If you go in tensed
as you are now, they're going to think you're afraid of them or
something."
Levi opened his
mouth to argue, but his friend did have a point. He was not exactly sure why he
had been asked to be one of the dorm advisors. He was not exactly a forward
person or a leader. Then again, maybe that was why?
"I'm just
nervous. I don't like to be the center of attention like you do." Levi
answered.
"Yeah, try to
relax. I would offer you a quickie, but I pulled one of the five-minute slots.
I'll happily give you one later tonight. It's been a long dry summer."
Levi smiled and
felt a little twitching in his pants. "That gives me something to look
forward to. Doesn't help me with my welcome speech, though."
This time it was
Dan's turn to roll with his eyes. "Tell them what you wish Alex had told
you. And do the opposite of whatever Alex did, and you'll be fine. That's my
plan."
"Alex was
pretty bad at it. I guess if I use him as a bar for success, I probably won't
fail."
"It would be
a tripping hazard," Dan said as he started to get up. "Now, I must go
find my dorm group. See you later."
"Yeah, later."
Levi said with a half-wave. Just as his friend was out of the room, Levi
realized he probably should have switched with his friend. Now, for the next ten
minutes, he was going to sit and figure out all the ways he could mess up.
Time crawled by. The
second he could, Levi was out of his seat. He rushed up until he got to Miss McCluskey's
English class. He had not been in there since he was in sixth grade. However,
it had not changed. This early in the year, there was nothing to distinguish it
from any other classroom in any other school. Doing a quick headcount, he came
up with five, which was right.
"Everyone
here from darling 6?" Levi asked.
He noticed that
two of the kids quickly checked their papers. There was a muttering of
agreement. Levi gave a little nod. "Great, I'm Levi. I'm going to be your
dorm advisor. I'll explain what that means when we get to your dorm room. I
figure you guys have been waiting long enough, so follow me."
The campus was not
big. There was the main school building, and on either side of it, connected by
a covered corridor, were two dorm buildings. Leading them down one of the
passages, Levi occasionally looked back to make sure everyone kept up. At least
they were quiet. Their dorm room was easy enough to find. It was on the second
floor and had a large number 6 written on the door. Using his key, Levi opened
it and felt a blast of air conditioning. It was like walking into a hotel room.
Holding open the
door for the others to follow him inside, the five kids shuffled in looking
around the room.
The passage into
the room was narrow with the bathroom immediately to one side. Unlike the
hallway outside, the room had a carpet. It was the same shade of gray in every
room, and the only difference being where the stains were. There was a couch
against one of the walls and a table that had five seats. On the ceiling, there
was a projector. The far end of the room had a large tinted window with
curtains that we are currently open so they could see the tree line. Underneath
the window was the air conditioning unit was and a little refrigerator. Off to
the side was a hallway that looped back and paralleled the room. That is where
the actual sleeping cubbies were. As one of the kids started to wander down the
hall, he spoke up.
"Hold up, can
I have everyone's attention? I know you want to check on your stuff but give me
a few minutes."
The boys all
looked at him. He smiled and closed the door. "Okay, I'm going to tell you
some stuff you probably already know, but I'm going to go over it again. You've
all been assigned to sleep and cubby A through E. If you guys want to try to
change, that's fine, but they're all the same: a bed, a desk, and enough room
to get dressed."
At least one of
the boys smiled at his words, and Levi decided he was his favorite.
"You're all
new here, and I'm guessing you guys don't know each other. That's how it was
with me, stuck in a room with four people I didn't know. That can be a little
intimidating, especially if you've never been in a situation like this
before."
"It's kind of
like a Sleepaway Camp."
Levi looked at the
boy who had just spoken up. He looked Hispanic with dark spiky hair. It seemed
he was already making himself comfortable, sitting on the couch with one sandaled
foot tucked under his knee.
Levi had not been
expecting an interruption and glared at the kid for a few seconds. The boy
started to look a little self-conscious and opened his mouth. "Um...
Sorry."
Levi shook his
head. "No, sorry, you just threw me for a minute. What's your name?"
"Andrew."
he said, crossing his arms defensively.
Andrew had won a
Statewide science competition. Levi remembered reading that in his little
profile. "Andrew, not everyone might have done a Sleepaway Camp. It might
be their first time away from their parents or family. Even if it's not, well,
this is different. You might start to feel homesick tonight or after a week or
two. You may not also. It's okay if you do, it's okay if you don't. If somebody
in this room is feeling down, try to cheer them up. If you need someone to talk
to you, well, that's also why I'm here. I'm here for a lot of things."
He waited a few
seconds, letting that sink in. "Now a few other things that will make this
different than a Sleepaway Camp. The only people allowed in this room from now
on are the five of you, myself, and once a week, a teacher comes in to give you
a grade on how well you're keeping up the place. That means no food out, no
overflowing garbage, beds must be made, and there better be no clothing on the
floor. Keep your bathroom clean. If you're not keeping this place clean, the
teacher will yell at me, and in turn, I will make your lives miserable. I do
have the power to punish you. I also can influence some punishments from
teachers. Got it?"
He waited for
everyone to nod. Taking a deep breath, Levi started to go into some unofficial
things. "Now I'm going to tell you some stuff that's not in the brochure.
This Academy is an all-boys school. I don't know what you all know about
masturbating but always knock before entering somebody's sleeping cubby. There
are locks on the doors, but just get into the habit of doing it if you need to
go inside for whatever reason."
Levi paused,
judging how they reacted to that piece of information. They all looked a little
embarrassed. Well, except for one of them. One of the boys just kept looking at
him like he had not said anything surprising. Curious, Levi looked at him as he
continued.
"In addition
to masturbating. There is a bit of an unspoken tradition here. Sometimes, boys
kind of pair up together. It's a thing that happens. It doesn't mean they're
boyfriends, just friends helping friends. I mean, it's not like there are any
girls around and well..." he trailed off. He had been determined to
mention this but had not been sure how. "Not saying you guys have to do
that or anything like that. I mean, I know some people just aren't interested.
Maybe it's for religious reasons or personal reasons or whatever. It's just.
It's just something you might see. It's best if you just ignore it."
Everybody in the
room, including Levi, became uncomfortable. Except for that one boy. Attempting to distract himself, Levi tried to
study the boy who was not surprised by the news. He was probably the second
shortest, with brown skin and curly black hair on his head. His shirt was a bit
oversized, but his forearms looked rather strong. The boy was just standing
there, meeting his gaze, and even smiled a little. Levi wondered what that was
about.
Finally, one of
the boys woke up. "Um... Like what might we see?"
Thankful that
somebody had finally said something, Levi turned his attention towards the
speaker. The kid has brown hair and was wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt. He looked
tall, but that was hard to say with him leaning against the wall.
"Hopefully,
not too much. Usually, when people do it outside of their dorm room, they try
to find a private area. You're more likely to run into it on the weekend.
Things are more relaxed then. I mean, you probably won't see anything, but well
nobody told me about it, and when I first stumbled across something, I just
stood there and stared. It was embarrassing for everyone. As I said, it's best
just to ignore it."
"It's against
the rules, right?"
That question came
from the shortest of the bunch. He had very dark hair that was even more
pronounced by the boy's skin. There was something wrong with it. It looked pale
but, at the same time, had some melatonin mixed in. It was quite attractive,
Levi thought. His shoulders were broad. The shirt he wore showed off a little
belly. It looked like he was nervous, even asking the question as he shifted
his weight back and forth from foot to foot.
"What's your
name?" Levi asked him.
"Sanjay."
The boy said his name slowly but clearly.
Levi remembered
seeing that name. He was silently thankful the boy had said it so clearly
because he had no idea how to pronounce it. The kid already had a patent. Well,
with his father, but that was impressive no matter what.
"Alright,
Sanjay. Yeah, kissing, and other things like that is against the rules.
However, if you start turning people in, you're not going to win any friends. I
mean, let's say you see two boys doing something. You turn them, and then they
get in trouble. Now let's say they're currently living in the same dorm. The
rules say they would have to be separated. We've been in the same group for
three years. We would lose somebody we know, and that brings someone new to the
group. That is unless the administration thinks both should be separated. You
could turn in two people and upset fifteen."
Sanjay pursed his
lips together. Levi was ready for an argument, but everybody here was good at
math. "I see."
"Good, and
like I said, you probably won't see much of anything. I just wanted you guys to
be aware of it."
He waited a few
seconds to see if anyone else was going to say something. "All right,
well, I guess I'll let you guys go check out your things. Your parents put them
in there, so if there's any problem, just tell me, and I'll get it straightened
out."
He stood there for
a few minutes when one of the boys finally came back. It was the boy in the
Mickey Mouse shirt. This boy smiled a little, and Levi had to admit he was kind
of cute.
"I was
wondering if you could help me with something." The boy asked.
"Of course,
that's why I'm here. Can I have your name by the way?"
"Miles."
the boy answer. "Could you show me the washing room again?"
"The washing
room? Sure, I can do that." He hesitated a second before saying a bit
louder. "I'm going to show Miles something. If anyone else needs me, I'll
be in the rec room." He waited until he heard a few voices say okay and
then headed out the door.
The first floor of
the dorm consisted of the recreational area, some private study rooms, and the
washroom. Leading Miles there was not exactly a chore. The room just consisted
of two washers and dryers and a place to sit. Most students never used it, but
if the kid wanted to do his laundry instead of bringing it home to mom and dad,
all the power to him.
When the boy
walked into the room, he studied the controls on one of the machines. Levi
watched him thinking Miles would have another question.
"Can you show
me how to set the machine to delicate?"
"Do you have
delicates?" Levi said, surprised.
"Just my
satin pajamas." Miles answered.
Satin pajamas?
That was a first Levi thought. Still, changing the settings was not all that
hard. Levi showed him quickly, but when he looked back at Miles, he sensed a
certain apprehension. Then he remembered something from the kid's profile.
"Oh, you're
severely dyslexic, Right?" Levi said casually.
Miles stiffened
visibly. "I'm not dumb."
Realizing his
mistake, Levi tried to correct it. "I didn't mean that. A lot of the kids
here have dyslexia. You're trying to remember the position of the word,
right?"
Miles relaxed a
little. "Yeah, I can read better when words are in context. It's harder
when they're just by themselves."
"I
understand," Levi said, trying to wave it off. "Two of my dorm mates
have dyslexia, I get it. They both have
their little tricks for certain things."
Miles thought for
a moment and then reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone, snapping a
picture of the control panel. "That's one of my tricks—reference
photos."
Levi smiled.
"Good, I'm guessing you live far away? If you're interested in the
washroom, I'm guessing you're planning on staying here some weekends."
"Maybe, my
mom and dad sometimes have to travel. If they are not going to be home, there
is not much point in me going there. Well, unless things suck here on the
weekend."
"I sometimes
spend weekends here. It's pretty laid-back. The rec room is open until nine
instead of seven. They usually show a movie in the auditorium, pick up games
and the like in the fields. Helps if you have a friend staying with you."
Miles nodded.
"I guess I'll see. You surprised me though picking up on the dyslexia
thing. I guess you're smart."
Levi wished he
could have just let it stand. "No, not really. First, that would be
observation skills, and those don't have anything to do with intelligence.
Second, it was in your profile."
"Profile?"
Miles asked with a little frown. "You have a profile on me."
"Not
really," Levi said, trying to find a happy medium between the truth and
the reality. "I got a paper with you guys' names on it and two or three
sentences at most. It did not come with pictures. I'm still not entirely sure
who's who—you're Miles. I know who Andrew is and," he hesitated for a
second. "Sanjay. I know the other two are Billy and Tyson, but I'm not
sure which is which."
"Billy's the
tall one, Tyson's the smaller one." Miles supplied.
"Thanks, I
guess you guys had some time to talk before I showed up. Are you all getting
along so far?"
The brown hair boy
shrugged. "I guess. We haven't talked all that much. Nervous."
"Well, that's
understandable. I'm going to head to the rec room if you don't need anything
else. You'll rarely see it as empty as it will be today. Everyone else is
arriving tomorrow."
The rec room was
most of the first floor. There were two TVs on either end that were hooked up
to game consoles. The school's library of video games leaned towards local
multiplayer. Little crowds had already formed around them by the time Levi got
there. In the middle of the room, there was a pinball machine along with an air
hockey table that he was not surprised to see Dan using. Judging by the crowd
around Dan, Levi guessed his friend had organized a little competition for his
dorm room. Against the far wall, there were bookcases lined with board games.
The rest of the room consisted of tables for those games. It surprised a lot of
the parents Levi knew, but the school did attract the geeky type.
He wandered around
for a bit, not doing much of anything. The other dorm advisors seemed to break
into two camps. The type that were currently hanging out with their charges and
the kind that let them do their own thing. By the time dinner time rolled
around, he was feeling a little inadequate. He got the five of them up and made
sure they all sat at the same table. Things were a bit more relaxed. Most of
them were at least talking to each other. However, as soon as they each
finished eating, that went off to do their own thing.
Levi decided to
retire to his own dorm room, but a voice called out to him when he was on the
stairs heading up.
"Hey, do you
have a minute?" Tyson called out.
Levi had become
familiar with the voice since the boys carried most of the conversation during
dinner.
"What can I
do for you, Tyson?" H said, trying to sound friendly though he was a bit
over everything for now at least.
Tyson's brown eyes
flickered around for a moment as if looking for someone else that could
overhear. "A little privacy? It's a bit personal."
Levi considered
for a moment. "Let's go to the top floor. We should have it to
ourselves."
Tyson gave him a
nod and did not say anything until they reached the top. Just as Levi turned to
sit on the top step, the boy shot his question.
"So, like,
are there any rules for that stuff?" He asked, taking a few steps down but
still standing, which brought them to about eye level.
"What? I
don't understand."
Tyson rolled his
eyes. "That stuff you were telling us. You know No Girls and all
that."
Levi blinked,
surprised. Most people were not so forward. "Not really. It's usually a
private thing, you know."
That was not the
answer Tyson was expecting, or maybe it wasn't what he was hoping for.
"Does it have to be someone in my dorm?"
"No, it's
just you know you got to find someone." Levi responded.
Tyson slowly
smirked. "All right, sorry for bringing you up here just for that."
"No problem,
it's what I'm here for. If you're looking, I'm sure you'll find someone. I
wouldn't try to rush it."
Tyson shrugged.
"Yeah, I won't."
Levi watched Tyson
go down the stairs. Considering how forward he had been, Levi wondered how much
the boy had done. Maybe Tyson would like the Midnight Club, but Levi was not
going to suggest that. He barely knew the kid.
After another
minute, Levi got to his feet and walked across the floor to go down the other
flight of stairs. By the time he got to his dorm room door, he had put those
thoughts out of his head.
The computer on to
the table was open, downloading an update to one of his games. Every student at
the Academy had a laptop. If the student's family could not afford one, the
school provided one. The downside was that the school's wireless network could
be very lacking. Luckily, this was not one of those times. He was in the middle
of an online match when Dan finally came in.
"Well, that
was surprisingly fun. How did you deal with your group?" Dan said heading
towards the refrigerator and pulling out a Pepsi.
Levi did not
respond at first and it was only partly because he was in a sniper duel.
"I think it went well. They seem to be getting along with each other. Two
of them asked me for some advice, so I guess it's working."
"See? I told
you you could do it. You just need to relax and have more confidence. You know
I think maybe that is why they suggested it to you. You never seek the
leadership role, but you're not bad at it."
"Maybe."
Levi said, not sure he would put it quite that way. "Anything special with
your group?"
"Oh, yeah, I
have twins. I've never actually met any twins before." Dan said, taking a
sip and coming over Levi's shoulder. "They're kind of cute. I think they
already messed around with each other."
"You think
everyone messes around with everyone," Levi said as he got shot and
started to shut down the game. He tried to think back to the group surrounding
Dan earlier. "I take it they aren't identical."
"Not even the
same hair color," Dan said, placing a hand on his friend's shoulder.
"It would be fun to have twins to mess around with, Nice additions to the
club."
Levi let out a
little sigh. "You're supposed to be looking after them, not perverting on
them."
"The two
aren't exclusive. I certainly wouldn't have minded being introduced to the
Midnight Club in my first year. Of course, my judgment might be a bit clouded
right now. Being around you for so long and still having my clothing on. It's
not natural." Dan said in a teasing tone.
Sometimes, Levi's
wondered about his relationship with Dan. They were friends, but was they more?
As he slowly turned a little in the seat, his friend sat down in his lap and
placed an arm around his neck, kissing him on the cheek. It certainly felt like
they were more than just helping each other out, but Levi had never thought of
himself as gay.
Returning the kiss
was so natural, though. Levi wrapped his arms around his friend even as he felt
Dan start to pull at his clothing. He responded in kind. In under a minute,
they were both naked.
Levi took a step
back as Dan stepped out of his underwear completely naked. Licking his lips,
Levi reached forward and grabbed his friend's erection. He slowly crouched down
as he pulled his friend closer.
Levi shoved Dan's
erection in his mouth. The meaty cock was uncircumcised. As Levi slowly moved
his head up and down, he could begin to taste it. One drop at a time. Pulling
the foreskin back, he wrapped his lips over the tip and squeezed out the
liquid. A little salty and a little gooey, it was familiar by now. Levi used
his mouth and reached up with his hand to slowly play with his friend's balls.
The knowledge that Dan had shaved them recently for him provided that little
extra thrill. Dan's climax was inevitable and quiet.
Levi's sat back on
the floor and swallowed the flow of cum because it was easier than trying to
spit it out. He did not really care for the taste but wanted what was coming
next as soon as possible.
Where Levi was
persistent, Dan was passionate. Quickly his friend got down onto his knees and started
licking, sucking, stroking, not keeping to a pattern. For Dan, it was the
journey that pleased him. Dan enjoyed sucking, and from time to time, he would
even stop and stick his nose into Levi's trimmed pubic hair and take a deep
breath. Dan knew that Levi loved the sensation of the airbrushing over his
balls.
Dan
was in no rush to get the work done. He enjoyed every second of it and when he
finally got his reward, he swallowed it and smiled as he pulled free of the
softening erection. Both had the same thought. It was great to be back in
school.
End of part 1.
