Big Bro, Little Bro
Chapter Seven
by: Rob Warr
Together at last

"Have you talked to Joey today?" Carlos asked Zak as they sat watching TV in the family room. Jake was at football practice and wouldn't be home till around five. It was two weeks till the new school year started and the team was already heavy into practice.

"Nope, why? It's kind of awkward talking to him lately. He's always so...so sad sounding."

"All the more reason why he needs his friends around. You hurt him a lot, and he's not likely to get over that anytime soon, but you can't just cut him off."

"I know, I know. Maybe I'll ride over to his house and see him later."

"I think that's a good idea. I have to go to work at four, I could give you a lift if you want."

"Nah, I'll ride my bike, I need the exercise."

On the way to Joey's house Zak thought about the weekend at the lake and all the drama that had unfolded since. Joey was not only sad, but angry, and there didn't seem to be anything anyone could do for him. His mom was still friendly, but not as friendly as she had been before, and Zak felt like a stranger around both of them now.

As he turned his bike into the driveway, butterflies filled Zak's stomach and he was tempted to turn around and go home. He might very well have done just that if the garage door hadn't started going up about then, and as he stood there staring at the widening gap he could see first Joey's feet, then his ankles, then his legs, his thighs, and eventually all of him came into view.

He didn't seem to notice Zak at first, possibly because he was looking back at the kitchen door and talking to someone.

"I'll be back in a little while mom," he yelled, then spinning around he finally saw Zak sitting astride of his bike looking anxious and a little red-faced.

"Uh, hi," Zak said quickly.

"Hey," Joey said looking down at his feet but making no move to exit the garage.

"I wanted to talk to you, but if you're busy..."

"Just going for a walk," Joey said looking up and blushing.

The tension between them was so thick you could cut it with a knife, a far cry from the way it used to be, and Zak blamed himself for most of it. It wasn't fair to either of them, but there was no undoing what had been done. The worst part was, that even though Jake had admitted he had feelings for Zak, and had basically wrecked his relationship with Joey, nothing had yet to happen between the two.

"Can I walk with ya'?"

"I guess," Joey shrugged.

"If it's too weird..."

"My whole life is weird these days so...come on, walk with me," Joey said, managing a little smile.

Zak parked his bicycle beside the house and joined Joey at the sidewalk and they started off. There had been a time when they would have brushed together and wished they could hold hands, but now they kept a respectful distance as they walked along.

"So, ready for school?" Zak said, finally breaking the silence.

"Yeah, I guess. I mean I have all my stuff. My mom made me go back-to-school shopping and it was a real drag."

"Mine too, but Carlos lucked out, cause he's older and can drive he got to do his on his own. He took Jake with him," he said cringing at the mention of his name.

"Oh, that's cool," Joey said, fighting back the urge to scream.

"Look Joey, I know I've said this a million times, but I really am sorry. And if it's any consolation to you, me and Jake haven't done anything since the camping trip."

"Oh, why is that? Did he break us up for no reason?" Joey said angrily.

"No, I guess he's just as scared and unsure as I am. Look, Joey..." Zak said, stopping and grabbing onto Joey's arm to halt his forward progress.

"I hate what we did to you, it wasn't fair and I tried to keep it from happening, but you didn't help matters either. I tried to keep us together, but you broke up with me."

"I'm not gonna stay with someone who doesn't love me," Joey said stubbornly, "You love Jake, period. That's all there is to it."

"It's not as easy as that Joey. I love you too. I've loved you practically from the first day we met, and I really wanted things to work out for us. I tried to forget Jake, and I might have succeeded, but then Jake decided to kiss me and admit that he has feelings for me," Zak sighed.

"I know, but I trusted you with my feelings and you promised," Joey said breaking into tears, "I love you Zak, and I always will..." he sobbed as he pulled loose and took off running.

"At least he's not headed home," Zak mumbled as he stood there watching the boy go. Eventually he sighed and started after Joey, jogging along at a quick pace, knowing full well that Joey would run out of steam eventually.

He found him at the park swinging, and though his back was to Zak, he was fully aware of him as he approached. It was hard to explain. He wanted to run from Zak, but he also wanted him to catch him and talk to him. Maybe they couldn't be like they were before, but he still had feelings for Zak and he needed him in his life.

"I'm sorry," Zak said taking the swing next to Joey, "I F'd up again. I don't know what to do or say anymore. I know it's tough on you. At least I have Carlos to talk to, but you're all alone. Joey, don't let this get too bad for you. If you need to talk to someone call me, or Carlos. We both care for you." He was about to say Jake cared too, but he'd already mentioned Jake's name enough today.

"I'm okay. I don't mean to act like a little bitch, but it still hurts. It's gonna be hard going back to school and seeing you guys everyday and all..."

"We can still be friends, all of us. It will just take time to adjust."

"Adjust, yeah...I guess."

"Can I ask you a personal question?" Zak said, stopping his swing and looking over at Joey.

"Sure, I got no secrets," Joey said with a sad smile.

"Do you think about that stuff we did in the tent much?"

"Are you kidding? All the time. I can remember just how you felt, and smelled, and tasted..."

"God, me too," Zak confessed, "I guess that kind of stuff has a lasting effect on people. I mean it wasn't the first time for me, but it was like...the first time there was more than sex involved."

"What if, what if Jake has changed his mind?" Joey asked hopefully.

"I don't think he has, but if he did...I guess I would have to kill him," Zak teased, and despite the seriousness of the situation both boys broke out laughing.

It felt good to laugh again, and they wound up hugging each other as they laughed so hard they cried. Then when the laughter ended the two boys pulled back and looked into each other's eyes and smiled shyly.

"I don't want to be your second choice. It was a dumb question, but...if it doesn't work out..."

"You're sweet, you know that? I guess there will always be a place for you in my heart, so who knows what might happen," Zak said, leaving Joey some hope.

"Well," Joey said pulling away suddenly, "I should be getting back home. My folks are taking me out for pizza later. Just us three."

"Oh, okay. No pizza for us, mom is making chili and Mexican cornbread. Not one of my favorites, the beans give us all gas, and it's a toxic war zone for days," he laughed.

"Well...you could come with us," Joey said quickly, then blushing he added, "I mean, I know you wouldn't want to, but seriously if you did, it would be cool."

"Hmm...can I call you later and give you an answer?"

"Sure, yeah...absolutely," Joey said brightening.

Zak felt bad that Joey seemed so excited at the possibility of him joining him for pizza, and he wondered if this was such a good idea getting his hopes up, but what was done was done. It would be hard to back out now.

On the way back to Joey's, the conversation was lighter than before, and Joey actually seemed to be in a good mood. He talked about school and how much he was looking forward to making new friends, and Zak picked up on that right away.

"There are lots of cool kids at our school, and I'm sure there will be a lot of new faces too."

"Yeah, maybe I'll find a new boyfriend," Joey said sighing.

"Are you ready for that...so soon?" Zak said, realizing he wasn't quite ready for Joey to move on yet.

"Who knows, I wasn't looking when we met, it just happened."

"Yeah, true. Well, if it happens dude, I promise I won't be a dick about it."

"I know you won't."

They arrived at Joey's at last, and as they walked up the drive Joey's mom appeared from the door leading into the kitchen. She took one look at the two and smiled. Was it possible they were getting back together?

"Hello Zak, it's so good to see you. What have you boys been up to?"

"We just took a walk. Hey mom, is it okay if Zak goes with us for pizza tonight?"

"That would be fine dear," she said looking at Zak and smiling.

"Well, I have to ask my folks first, but I'm sure they won't care. I'll call and let you know."

"Oh, I do hope you can join us," Joey's mom said, sounding as excited as Joey had been.

"Well, I should go. I'll text you later, okay?"

As Zak rode off, he left Joey and his mom behind, and they seemed to be discussing something. Hopefully Joey would explain that Zak was only coming along as a friend and not a boyfriend, but then he really didn't know exactly what Zak's folks thought was going on with the two.

As soon as Zak rode into the driveway he noticed two things, that Carlos' Ranger was gone, meaning he'd already gone to work, and that Jake was sitting on the front step, still in his football gear.

"Hey, what are you doing home so early?" Zak said sitting down beside his step brother/boyfriend.

"Coach had somewhere he had to be and he let us go early. Man was I glad. I was beat. He's a slave driver. I am so tired of running splints. So, where have you been?"

"At Joey's actually," Zak said, then reluctantly told him about his visit.

"I think it's cool that you still want to hang out with him. Go, have some pizza and have some fun. It will be good for both of you."

"Yeah, I guess you're right. I think if I backed out now, Joey would be really upset, and you should have seen how excited his mom was that I might join them."

Jake chuckled, "You know how moms are? Always trying to fix things."

"Yeah, I wonder how much she knows about what went on?"

"Well, they have to know something went on. They're not stupid."

"Yeah, my real fear is that Joey's folks will say something to our folks about what the problem was."

"I don't think Joey told them everything. If he had, I think mom and dad would have pulled us up and had a long talk with us."

"Yeah, and that's one talk I don't want to have. Uh, Jake...I was wondering...are you having second thoughts about all this...about us?"

"What? No, well...not really, but it's kind of complicated. I just wanted to make sure Joey was going to be okay and all..."

"I mean it's just that, well...we haven't really talked about that stuff since the campout."

"I know, I know. It just seems like mom and dad or Carlos are always around, and we don't have that much privacy, except in our room and well...that seems risky."

"Yeah, I get that. Maybe we should just like, you know? Go out sometime, just us two, and have a nice long talk."

"Okay, maybe tomorrow. There's no practice. Maybe we could ride our bikes to town and get some lunch and go hang out in the park or something."

"Sounds good. Well, I'm gonna go take a shower and ask mom about the pizza thing."

"I need one too, maybe we could take one together and save water," Jake teased.

"You wish," Zak snorted.

"If mom wasn't home..."

"Yeah, maybe then," Zak said, feeling a slight swelling in his groin.

"You can go first then. I'm gonna grab a Gatorade and rap with mom for a while."

After checking in with his mom and getting permission to go with Joey for pizza, Zak walked upstairs to the room he and Jake shared and started stripping off his clothes. He was down to his baby blue boxer briefs when suddenly the door opened and Jake walked in.

"Dude, I thought you were in the kitchen with mom."

"I was, but she was on her way out. She had to run to the store to get some jalapenos or something. She'll be gone an hour if I know her. So, how about that shower now?" he said, starting to strip off his football gear.

"Are you serious?" Zak asked, not sure if he should be entertaining such an idea at the moment.

"Well, sure. We both need a shower and I really need someone to wash my back," Jake said, not disguising his lust, "Come on, it's no big deal."

That was just it, Zak wanted it to be a big deal. He wanted Jake to sweep him off his feet and ravage him, and tell him that he loved him, and that he couldn't live without him. Would a quickly in the shower only make things more frustrating? He worried. Or would it be the start of something wonderful and beautiful?

"Okay, but we should hurry. Mom might not be gone as long this time."

"Relax, she had a shopping list with her. You know how she is? She won't be back for ages."

Jake was down to his jock now and Zak's eyes couldn't help but take in his hard chiseled body. As his eyes traveled downwards he noticed Jake's penis straining at his jock and he swallowed hard. Then just as he was about to speak, Jake turned to fish a pair of boxers out of his dresser, and suddenly Zak was confronted with his naked butt cheeks. Only a thin band of elastic hid the most secret part of Jake, and as Zak watched, a bead of sweat ran down the cleft of his ass and into the pouch holding his boy bits.

"You okay dude?" Jake said, spinning back around and grinning at Zak, "Come on, you can see it all up close once we're in the shower."

Zak allowed himself to be led to the bathroom they shared with Carlos, and as Jake started the water running he turned his back to him and skinned off his underwear. He could almost feel Jake's eyes on his backside as he did so, and he wondered why he was suddenly so self-conscious.

Once the water was to their liking Jake stepped in, and Zak joined him after a moment. Zak's eyes went to Jake's butt again as the water cascaded down his back and washed across those two perfect globes before going down the drain.

"Like what you see?" Jake chuckled.

"Uh, yeah. Dude, don't get me wrong, but...is this a good idea? I mean what if mom came back or something..."

"Bro, mom is long gone by now and we're all alone. What's really eating at you? Is it you who has changed his mind?"

"No, of course not. Just a little nervous, that's all."

"We don't have to do anything if you don't want to," Jake said sounding a little hurt, "Just wash each other's back and maybe dry each other off."

"Okay, let's just see how it goes," Zak said swallowing hard. What is wrong with me? He wondered, First I want him to sweep me off my feet and ravage me, and then I'm nervous about being naked with him.

Jake didn't reply as he began soaping up his hard muscled body and Zak couldn't help but notice that he kept his back to him the whole time. Was it because he was hard? Zak was hard too, but then he usually got hard in the shower, even when he was alone.

"Wash my back?"  Jake asked looking back over his shoulder, then handing the poof to Zak he closed his eyes and enjoyed the attention as Zak ran it up and down his back, stopping just short of his perky butt.

"Do you, uh, want me to...um...wash this too," he said smacking Jake's butt and causing a wet slapping sound.

"Yeah, I'm kind of sweaty back there, but if you don't want to..."

"Nah, it's okay, spread em a little," Zak said, suddenly filled with lust.

"Umm...that feels good. My muscles are really sore, when you've finished back there can you maybe massage my shoulders?"

"Sure bro," Zak said, running his soapy hand up Jake's crack and across his rosebud.

"Oh...mm...that feels nice," Jake moaned.

Jake slapped his ass smartly this time and chuckled, "Better get to those sore muscles before we get carried away."

"What's wrong with getting carried away?" Jake said, suddenly swinging around and facing Zak.

As expected he was hard, his cock sticking out at about a 45° angle. Zak stared at Jake's erection for only a moment before raising his eyes to meet Jake's.

"I don't know, nothing I guess. I...I just feel...I don't know, kind of confused right now."

Jake stood for a moment gazing into Zak's eyes, then leaned in and kissed him gently on the mouth.

"It's okay bro, I understand. You waited so long and now that you've got me, you're not sure it's all real, right?"

"How...um, how did you know that?" Zak said, his eyes growing wide. It was as if Jake was reading his mind.

"We've always been close, as close as twins in some ways," Jake said, "I feel what you feel, I always have. Even when...you know?  I was acting like a jerk and we were apart, I felt your pain. It was hard seeing you at school, that look on your face, and knowing I was responsible for your pain. I...I, sometimes I hate myself for what I put you through, but I promise...I won't hurt you again. You just gotta trust me."

"I do," Zak said moving closer and hugging his boyfriend/brother, "I'm sorry. I know it's silly, but can we just...you know...wait a little while?"

"Yes, definitely. It's probably best anyway, since you're going to go out for pizza with your old boyfriend. I don't want you being embarrassed or feeling guilty because of something we did," he chuckled.

Zak blushed, Was that it? Was he worried that it would show on his face if he fooled around with Jake now? So what if it did? Joey had to understand that from now on he was with Jake and they would do stuff, if not today, well, eventually.

"Kiss me again," Zak said grinning.

They pressed their hardness together as they kissed, and as the kiss grew steamier they began to grind against one another. Despite his protests, Zak found himself getting caught up in the moment and was panting and moaning as they pressed together desperately. The kissing had progressed to tongues, and the moaning and panting was becoming louder. Then suddenly without any warning, their hard rampant teenage cocks began to unload almost simultaneously, leaving them weak kneed and trembling. If not for the strong grip they had on each other they might have collapsed to the floor, and even as they recovered from the most intense orgasm of their lives they continued to kiss.

"That was amazing," Jake said nibbling at Zak's ear, "I can't believe I missed all those chances to be with you this way.

"I didn't plan on doing that," Zak said blushing, "but I'm glad we did. I don't know what I was so afraid of, it was epic."

"It was, and it's only the beginning," Jake said kissing Zak properly again, "We should get cleaned up and dressed though. No need to take chances."

Once out of the shower they took turns drying each other off, and neither boy went completely soft the whole time. Zak's skin felt so soft and smooth, and Jake couldn't get enough of touching it. Of course Zak felt the same, but he knew they only had so much time, and he finally pulled away and began dressing. Jake followed his lead, smiling at him the whole time, and watching him with loving eyes.

"I love you so much," Jake said, his eyes cloudy with tears, "and I promise I will do my best to make you happy."

"I love you too, I always have, and I promise the same, but tonight I have to go have dinner with Joey. Is that okay?"

"Sure, I want you two to be friends, but he has to understand...you're mine now."

"I know, but we shouldn't rub it in his face, agreed?"

"Yeah, rub what?" Jake giggled, "Our cocks?"

"You're bad, you know what I mean," Zak said grinning, "But I'm sure he'd like that."

"Too bad I'm too jealous to share you, maybe we could have had a three way," Jake teased.

"Would you ever, I mean...is that something you've thought about?"

"Nah, not really, well not with three dudes. I did think about it once when I was dating that girl. I thought if we brought another dude in it might be fun. I guess even then I was embracing my inner gay boy," he laughed.

"I'm not sure I want to share you either, but if we ever decided that was right for us, I suppose we'd make it work."

"Let's concentrate on us right now, and not worry about anything else. We have a lot of making up to do."

"Well, I'm gonna go call Joey and tell him dinner is on. Hopefully I won't sound or look too guilty," Zak joked.

"You have nothing to feel guilty about. We're in love, and he just has to understand that we're going to express that love in the same way you two did."

"Yeah, I know, but I just worry about him. I wish...I wish he could find someone else to replace me. That would make me feel less guilty."

"Well, that may take a while, so for right now, we'll just try to be his friends and help him get through this."

"Yeah, well...gotta make that call..."

Joey answered on the first strain of the ring tone of the week, and he was bubbling over with joy when he heard that Zak would be joining them for dinner. They agreed on a time, and Joey said that his mom would pick him up and bring him home when they were finished. At one time it would have been normal for Zak to just stay over afterwards, but those days were gone and that made Joey sad. As he hung up the phone, he began to have second doubts. Was he just letting himself in for a lot more pain by staying friends with Zak and not letting him go completely? Was it possible to just be friends after having been boyfriends? He was in a sort of funk as he threw his phone down on the bed and tears stung his eyes as he thought about his lost love.

"I'm glad to see you and Zak have made up," Mrs. Green said when Joey finally came out of his room.

"What do you mean?" Joey said defensively, "We're just friends mom, we don't have to hang out together all the time."

"Son," his mother said softly, "I know you think your dad and I are too dense to see what went on with you and this boy, but you've been miserable ever since you came back from that trip to the lake, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why. I know you don't want us getting in your business, as you say, but we love you honey, and we worry about you."

"I'm fine," Joey said, but he didn't sound fine, and he knew he was lousy at hiding his feelings.

"I just want you to know that if this thing with Zak gets too hard for you to handle you can talk to us, and I promise we won't be judgmental. I know this has been a tough year for you, moving and losing Braden, and now this."

Joey sighed, "Can we just not talk about it. I just want to go eat some pizza and have some fun. I'm fine, and I don't need any help getting over Zak."

So there was a breakup, his mom thought, and considering what Joey had gone through with Braden she was deeply concerned for her son's mental well being. Having your heart broken twice in so short a time could be devastating for anyone, and for a boy Joey's age it could be catastrophic. She would be sure to talk to her husband later and make sure he understood what she did, that they needed to watch Joey closely and look for any signs of worsening depression, the kind that could lead to suicidal thoughts. She knew the suicide rate for teens in general was very high, and for gay teens it was through the roof.

"All right dear, but the offer still stands. So, have you decided which pizza place you want to go to..."

A short distance away Zak was just finishing up getting ready for his dinner date with Joey as Jake sat on his bed and watched him with undisguised lust.

"Do I look all right?" Zak said turning to his new brother and frowning.

"Like a million bucks. Maybe you should tone it down a bit," he teased, "or Joey might jump your bones right there at the pizza place."

"Very funny," Zak said grinning, "but seriously, I wish I hadn't agreed to go now."

"It will be fine, just go and have some fun. It will be good for both of you. You said you wanted to stay friends, so prove it."

"I guess, well...wish me luck, and if I'm not back by midnight, send help, cause that means Joey probably kidnapped me."

"Yeah, I'll send Carlos to get you bro," Jake chuckled, "I need my beauty sleep."

Jake walked Zak to the front door when the Greens came to pick him up, but he didn't go outside for fear he'd upset Joey. Instead he said his goodbyes at the door, and went in to find his new mom and dad and shoot the bull with them for a while.

At Pizza Hut the four squeezed into a booth with the adults on one side and the boys on the other as they waited for their order. Both boys liked pepperoni, and the adults liked Canadian Bacon, so they had ordered a large half and half, but the boys would no doubt end up finishing off the Canadian Bacon as well.

"So, I guess you are all ready for school to begin," Mr. Green teased.

"Yes sir, actually I'm sort of looking forward to it. I'll be going to the same school as my brothers this year."

"That's convenient, you can all ride together I suppose."

"Yes sir, my brother Carlos has a pickup, but my other brother Jake will be getting a car as soon as he takes driver's ed and passes the test. He turned 16 in July."

"Well, that will be nice," Mrs. Green said, "I feel so sorry for that boy, losing first his dad, and then his mom."

"Yes ma'am, it's been tough on him, but he's doing okay now."

I bet, Joey thought, new home, new parents, and a live in boyfriend. Then he felt bad for thinking such things. He knew Jake was a good guy and he didn't deserve to lose his mom like that, even if things did work out okay for him.

The pizza came then, saving Zak from any further interrogation, and he and Joey dug in as if they were starved. After finishing their second slice of pizza the boys went off to refill their drinks, and as soon as they were out of earshot Mrs. Green turned to her husband and smiled, "Joey seems happier today than he has been in a long time. I don't know what happened between those two, but I hope they can fix it."

"Dear, they're just boys and boys have fights, they'll get over it."

"I hope so, I really like Zak and I miss having him around. He was like a second son to me," she added laughing.

"Well, I'm sure he'll come back around eventually dear and you can mother him as much as you want," her husband teased.

The boys returned then, and the teenage eating machines resumed their assault on the pizza, and when the pepperoni was all gone they finished off the rest of the Canadian bacon as predicted. Joey felt comfortable around Zak, and they joked and cut up just like before, the only difference was that there was no touching under the table or sexual tension between them, well at least not on Zak's part. Joey still felt that tingle in his groin, and the thumpy feeling in his tummy when he was around Zak, but he was pretty sure that Zak didn't feel the same way.

Joey suddenly excused himself to go to the bathroom and Zak was tempted to go with him, but he wasn't sure if Joey would take that as a come on, so he decided to stay behind and risk being grilled by Joey's folks.

"I'm glad you decided to join us," Mrs. Green said as soon as Joey was gone, "Joey needed to get out and have some fun with a friend."

"I'm glad I came too, I'm having a good time," Zak said, hoping he wasn't sounding too condescending.

"Well, you'll have to come visit us again, we've missed you around the house lately."

"Yes ma'am, I'll try to do that."

Joey returned then, and Mrs. Green changed the topic to school again, and Zak relaxed. Eventually they finished their drinks and headed out to the car. Zak wondered what the Greens knew about his and Joey's relationship, but he certainly didn't want to talk to them about it, no matter how much or how little they knew. What went on between him and Joey was their business, well and maybe Jake's, and he didn't want either of the rents knowing anymore than they already did.

"We need to stop at Walmart, is that all right Zak, or do you need to get home?"

"I have plenty of time, that's fine ma'am. I might see if they have any new video games or CDs I want while we're there, if you're not in a hurry."

"No, no hurry. Take your time and you boys can meet us up front by the McDonalds."

"Cool, I'll get a McFlurry," Joey said.

"After all that pizza?" his mother clucked, "where do you put it all?'

"I poop it out," Joey laughed.

"I didn't need to know that," she laughed.

As soon as they were inside, they split up and the boys headed to the Electronics Department. As they were checking out the games a familiar voice greeted them from behind.

"Hey guys, remember me?" Shaun said as he approached the two.

"Shaun?" Zak said, "What's up man?"

"Not much, just killin' time while my dad does some shopping."

"Oh, yeah, us too. I mean Joey's folks are shopping. We went out for pizza, and well, they had to stop here..." Zak said, feeling flustered all of a sudden.

"Oh, yeah...so you two are..."

"Friends," Zak said before Shaun could finish, "and friends do stuff together, you know?"

Shaun nodded, "Sorry, I just thought..."

"No," Joey sighed, "We're not back together, but at least we're still friends, right Zak?"

Shaun seemed at a loss for words. He'd talked to Jake a couple of times on the phone, and they'd texted each other almost daily, but so far they hadn't gotten together yet, despite their plans to do so.

"Well, tell Jake I said hi. I guess I better go find my dad,"  Shaun said feeling a little uncomfortable.

"Okay, yeah, I will. Cool seein' ya'," Zak lied. He was still a little jealous of Shaun, and worried that Jake would hook up with him again, even though he'd promised he wouldn't.

"Well, see ya' guys. Have fun," Shaun said as he started off.

"Yeah, later," Joey said, then when he was out of sight he said to Zak in a low voice, "He's pretty foxy, isn't he?"

"Yeah, I guess," Zak admitted, "but I still don't trust him."

"Oh, you mean cause you're afraid he might steal Jake away?" Joey said smugly.

"NO, not that. I just don't know if he's as cool as he seems, that's all."

"So are you gonna tell Jake not to be friends with him?" Joey wanted to know.

"No, course not. I can't tell Jake who he can be friends with, anymore than he can tell me who I can be friends with."

"Like me? Does Jake say you shouldn't be my friend?" Joey asked accusingly.

"No, in fact Jake was the one who convinced me I should come along tonight. He meant what he said when he said he likes you Joey, and that he's sorry you got hurt."

"I know," Joey sighed, "Let's not talk about that stuff. Let's just have fun while we're together and forget all that bad stuff."

"Suits me just fine, come on let's check out the DVDs over there..."

By the time the Greens dropped Zak off it was almost ten o'clock. Carlos was in his room reading and listening to music on his small bookshelf stereo, and Jake was playing a video game in the room he and Zak shared.

"Hey bro, how'd it go?"

"Fine, we ate a ton of pizza then went to Walmart, I bought this," Zak said holding up a DVD, "it was only five bucks."

"Never Ending Story, oh yeah, I remember watching that when we were like 10 or something, and you cried when that Indian boy and his horse got stuck in the mud."

"Did not, well...maybe," Zak conceded, "I always liked that movie. Want to watch it with me?"

"Best offer I've had all night," Jake chuckled, "I'll go nuke some popcorn and grab us a soda while you get changed and ready for bed."

"Great, thanks. I need to piss first," Zak said as he headed to the bathroom.

After peeing, Zak knocked on the door that led into Carlos' room, and after permission to enter was granted, he went in to say goodnight to his older brother.

"Did you and Joey play nice?" Carlos teased.

"Yeah, we necked and kissed the whole time we were in Pizza Hut," Zak joked, "but seriously, it wasn't as bad as I feared. I think we may be able to be friends after all."

"OH, so you doubted it before?"

Zak shrugged, "I wasn't sure, but if Joey can handle it, I think I can."

"That's good, so...how are things with you and Jake? I mean you haven't said much about your relationship since we got back."

"We're taking it slow," Zak said,  not willing to go into detail at the moment, "We're still committed, but we don't want to rush into things."

"Uh huh, seems to me you've waited quite a long time for this. Are you suddenly not so sure this is what you want?" Carlos said, sensing his reluctance to go further.

"I'm sure, and I think Jake is too. I just think this is still really hard for Jake to come to grips with. He tried so hard to prove he was straight, and suddenly he found himself loving a gay boy," he chuckled at the last part.

"I can see that, well...just give him time then. I'm sure things will work out."

"I'm back," Jake called from the doorway to the bathroom, "Carlos gonna watch the movie with us?"

"It's Never Ending Story," Zak explained, "You're welcome to come watch it with us."

"I think I'll pass, but thanks anyway. You two need some alone time, and this will give you an opportunity to do some snuggling and hand holding," Carlos chuckled.

"Okay, but we could do that anyway," Zak laughed, "but if you're sure..."

"Yeah, I'm beat and I have to work tomorrow all day, so I'm gonna turn in early."

"Okay, well...goodnight, see y' tomorrow."

"Night bro, enjoy your movie."

Sitting side by side in Zak's bed the two started the movie, and ate popcorn, and sipped their sodas. When their snack was gone they propped their heads up on pillows and laid down as close together as possible. Soon their hands were entwined, and they were more interested in each other than the movie.

"Jake?"

"Uh huh."

"We saw Shaun at Walmart."

"Oh, what did he say?" Jake said, turning to look at Zak.

"Not much, he thought me and Joey were back together, but we set him straight."

Jake chuckled, "Didn't want him to think he had a chance with me, right?"

"NO, that's not what I meant...I just didn't want him to get the wrong idea about Joey and me."

"You can relax if that's what you're worried about. I told Shaun that you and I are going to give this thing a try, and that I wasn't interested in more than friendship."

"I know, I trust you," Zak said blushing, "but he is pretty hot and tempting."

"Oh, so you been lusting over him?" Jake teased.

"No, but Joey sure seemed to think he was hot."

"Well, I think Shaun is more interested in Carlos, but who knows?"

"Really, he said that?" Zak chuckled, "Did you tell Carlos?"

"Nah, I didn't want to freak Carlos out. As far as I know Carlos is straight, right?"

Zak shrugged, "He doesn't talk about that stuff much, but I guess he sort of liked that girl at the Sonic. He's talked to her a few times since then."

"He said something to me...at the lake..." Jake related their conversation and what Carlos had said about his most meaningful relationships having been with other guys, "I guess in a way all boys have those kind of intimate relationships with other boys and never think about it. Look at us, we shared everything, and when it came to sex we weren't shy at all about trying stuff."

"Yeah, if I had just kept my mouth shut and my lips to myself..." Zak sighed.

"That was my fault bro, don't blame yourself for any of that. I was a douche bag and we both know it. Sometimes I really hate myself for what I did and how I acted, but you know...I never told a single person what happened."

"I wasn't sure at first," Zak said, "because some of the kids at school treated me a little different after that."

"I might have said a few mean things, but I never told them that you were gay. I guess even as awful as I was acting I just couldn't hurt you that way. Stupid huh? Cause I hurt you enough the other way."

"Jake? Can we stop the movie and just snuggle?"

"Oh sure, absolutely. We can watch it some other time."

Zak grabbed the remote and stopped the movie, then leaned over and switched off the bedside lamp. Then rolling onto his side, he snuggled into Jake and threw an arm over him.

"This is nice," Jake said after a few minutes. He was starting to get hard from all the touching, but he was still nervous about doing stuff with their parents and Carlos so close by.

"Uh huh," Jake said, leaning in and kissing Jake on the lips.

The kiss grew steamy as Jake got into it, pulling Zak to him, and in the process causing Zak's hardness to press into his thigh. Soon all his worries about their folks or Carlos flew out the window and he became desperate for Zak.

Pulling the younger boy on top of him, they ground their hard teenage cocks together as they continued to kiss. Their hands roamed each others bodies as they kissed and their cocks were leaking copious amounts of pre. They had lost all track of time and space, and for the moment they were in their own little world.

It was Zak who broke the kiss, and as they caught their breath they stared into each others eyes something passed between them. Without speaking Jake rolled Zak onto his back and attacked his body, kissing and licking his chest, his nipples, his flat stomach and then nuzzling his hardness through his boxers.

"These gotta go," he growled as he yanked Zak's boxers off and tossed them on the floor, causing Zak to giggle.

Then attacking Zak's cock and balls, he had the boy moaning and thrusting up desperately as his orgasm approached quickly.

"Stop, let me..." Zak panted, "I don't want to come yet, let me do you."

"Okay," Jake said plopping down on his back and skinning off his underwear to save Zak the trouble. Despite being a year older, his cock was only about a half inch longer, but it was fatter and was producing far more pre than Zak's did.

As Zak licked and sucked on Jake's erect little nipples, he let his lower body rub against Jake's cock sending waves of pleasure through the older boy. Jake wondered why he had fought this for so long, surely this was the best feeling ever, and to know that Zak loved him so completely brought tears to his eyes. He was sure he loved Zak that way too, but there was still this nagging feeling that they were doing something wrong being together this way now that they were brothers.

Zak had reached his center now and was fondling his boy parts and nuzzling his pubes with his nose causing Jake to moan louder.

"Shhh..." Zak giggled, "You'll wake Carlos," then looking up at Jake he had a wicked idea, "remember how we  used to suck each other at the same time? Want to do that?"

"A 69, it's called a 69. Yeah, that sounds nice," Jake said excitedly.

Zak swapped ends, and after some adjusting they were lined up just right. Zak reached over and fondled Jake's balls and ass as he took Jake's dripping wet member into his mouth, and Jake followed his lead. He was amazed that he was so turned on, and everything he had learned from Zak when they were younger came back to him as they pleasured each other.

Despite being horny and desperate to get off, the two managed to prolong their orgasm for a long time. However, when they did come, the release was explosive as they fired off their hot teenage seed into each others willing and eager mouth.

Even after they had swallowed every drop, they continued to lay there with their head on each others thigh staring at the object of their affection and enjoyment. Neither boy went soft the whole time, and it was obvious that round two would follow as soon as they rested.

Finally, untangling themselves from each other, Zak moved back around and snuggled up to Jake, pressing their still wet cocks together, and enjoying the feel of each others warm smooth skin.

"That was awesome," Zak sighed.

"Yeah, it was. You sure come a lot more these days," he chuckled, "but I liked the taste."

"I love your taste," Zak said, then leaning in he kissed Jake and they shared each other's taste.

"Have you ever...you know...done the other stuff?" Jake asked softly, blushing even though that was silly considering  how intimate the too had just been.

"Nah, I mean I want to, but I sort of been saving that for just the right boy."

"Oh."

"Actually I had always hoped that boy would be you," Zak said softly, giving Jake a gentle squeeze.

"Really? But not now?"

"Now, more than ever," Zak confessed, "but I want us to both want it, and I want it to be special."

"Umm...do you want us both to do it, or what?" Jake asked, not sure he wanted to be on bottom.

"Well, to tell you the truth, I always dreamed of you doing it to me, but I never really thought that much about doing it to you. If that makes sense."

"Yeah, perfect sense. I think some guys just like being the bottom and some like being the top, but I guess some like both."

"Yeah, I've read some stuff..." Zak offered, "I know it sort of makes me look like I'm the girl or something, but I don't feel like a girl. I just want to give you that part of me, and feel you inside me and...well, when you come in me, I will feel like I'm really yours."

All this talk was getting both boys excited again, but neither boy thought this was the time or the place to go all the way, however there were other ways to get off and both boys were eager to do so. Taking charge, Jake rolled Zak onto his back and pinned him beneath him. Then leaning down he kissed Zak playfully as he began to press his hardness against Zak's. They were both wet and slippery down there and slid easily against each other causing a most enjoyable feeling.

"This is almost as good," Jake panted, as his gyrations became more desperate, "Is this okay?"

"Yesssss,"  Zak hissed, "I love having you on top of me," he said placing his hands on Jake's hips and guiding him, "OH...yeah, that feels wicked."

They kissed as they pressed together, but soon they had to break the kiss to catch their breath, and then the moaning began as they headed toward another intense orgasm. This time they splashed their teenage seed onto each other, and when it was over, Jake fell down on Zak as they were glued together by their sticky love.

"Oh wow, if the real thing is anything like that, I can't wait to try it," Jake said finally rolling off.

"It will be, I just know it. I can't wait, but I want it to be perfect."

"We'll figure it out. When the time is right, we'll do it, and it will be wonderful,"  Jake said leaning in to kiss Zak on the cheek, "but right now we're a sticky mess and I am soooo tired. Come on, let's get cleaned up and then crash."

In his room, Carlos heard the two in the bathroom and he smiled. He had heard their moaning earlier, and when they'd gone for round two he chuckled to himself. He was jealous in a way, they had each other and he had no one. He had never really thought that much about it before, but now it seemed like everyone around him was in love, or at least having sex. Problem was, he wasn't exactly sure what he wanted.

He and his buddies had done some fooling around when he was younger, but that had been a while ago, and now all that he had was his hand. When he did what came naturally, his thoughts were all over the place. Sometimes he would think about boys and sometimes girls. Was he bi, or just confused? He wasn't bothered that he might be something other than straight, he guessed he was just confused. Of course he knew that the only way to find out about his sexuality was to actually get with someone, but that was the thought that terrified him most. What if he was rejected, or worse, what if someone spread rumors about him all over school? It was hard enough being Hispanic, adding gay to that would ruin him for good. So for now, he decided, his love life would consist of himself and his hand.

The boys peed and cleaned up, and after slipping their underwear on and hugging goodnight, they fell into their own bed and were soon asleep. But sleep was a long time coming for their older brother who lay in his bed wishing he too had someone to love.
