Chapter 4

Castor and Pollux dance into they May Day

As soon they finished dinner at Inn to the Red Oxen, Paul returned to their conversation from earlier, while looking down from the village at the hill to the marquee in the valley build up for the May dance. "Magnus was the surprise of the school, believe me, Carlo. But he had other surprises up his sleeve.”

Just as Paul was about to tell more about "his Magnus," a broad shadow fell across their table, a hand tapped the tabletop, and a short-tempered voice greeted them, "Greetings, Vicar! Nice to see you outside my office for a change. And even with a friend! I thought you didn't dare to go to the village and were afraid to meet your flock outside the church."

He was the town pastor, Father Mayer, who leaned on Carlo's shoulder with one hand, broad and powerful as he was, "And you must be his friend, the teacher!" He leaned toward Paul, "He told me about you. I think he misses you." He held out his hand to Paul, "It's about time you showed up, otherwise my dear chaplain is going to rot here." Then he laughed mischievously, "I know everything! He even looks away when girls wink at him." As Carlo blushed, Father Mayer patted him on the shoulder, "I'm nearsighted, but with glasses I can still see quite well. Now my chaplain, no chicken out today. Today is May Dance and you're coming to the marquee! And you too, teacher. I have already announced you."

The puffing town priest in the middle, the two stood a quarter of an hour later at the entrance to the festival tent in the valley. "You go over there to the young people by the music and enjoy yourselves. I'll sit with the old folks. Look, the mayor is already waving me over."

Carlo and Paul had no choice but to squeeze through the rows of tables to the front of the stage. The band was sitting on the small stage and couples were dancing in front of it. As they looked around for space at the crowded tables, a lanky fellow pulled them to one and ordered, "Make room for our Vicar and his guest!" Then he simply pushed them onto the bench at the table around which boys their age were sitting. "We're all members of the soccer club!" he explained, "You've stopped by the game before, right. But without the number on the jersey, you certainly don't recognize anyone! Here's the tall one, that's our center forward, there's the bullish one, that’s our libero," he began to introduced the players one by one. Finally, he said, "I almost forgot to introduce myself. I'm Alies.” Grinning from ear to ear, he asked, “What position do you think I am playing?" When Carlo and Paul shook their heads uncertainly, he laughed, "Goalkeeper! Don't you believe me? I may be small, but I can scrape any ball out of the goal."

The dance music started again. The football players jumped up, pushed to the neighboring table and asked the girls for a dance. Carlo and Paul wanted to make themselves comfortable and just watch. But without success. Alies appeared, a girl in each arm, "Now it's time to dance, Vicar." When Carlo looked at him in amazement, he laughed, "Don’t funk out, Vicar I got you the prettiest girl of them all!"

Carlo and Paul were out of practice, for their last dance had been the one at the high school prom. But soon they were spinning in circles like the others, because their partners were as skilled as they were silent, which was not noticeable over the loud brass band music. No sooner had Paul caught the feel of the rhythm, they were high-fived, that is, another couple got behind them, clapped their hands, and they had to change partners and continue dancing.

Each tour was three or four dances long. Then the music fell silent and there was a short rest. Before the next pause of the dance, Paul and Carlo had already made the acquaintance of almost all the girls at the next table, even though they had not exchanged more than two words with any of them because of the loud music.

While the dancers were still strangers with Paul and kept their distance during the dance, even the waltz, the dance with Carlo finally gave them the opportunity to get very close to the new vicar. They held him tight, pressed themselves close to him, and if the music allowed, they put their heads on his shoulders. Carlo didn't know how to act, but after the third partner, he decided to play along. He even enjoyed it so much, that his cock almost drilled a hole into his pants. He turned all red wondering why his cock reacted this way to girls.

During the break, while Carlo was fanning himself with his left hand, he quickly grabbed Paul between his legs. Paul winced and hissed, “What’s this about!" he hissed, but promptly returned the favor. He immediately found what he was groping for and grinned, "I didn't know your little guy didn't just react to me like that, but to girls also!" then he pushed Paul's hand back on the table, "If you absolutely have to touch something hard and round, take the beer bottle!" Seeing out of the corner of his eye that Alies was watching their fumbling curiously, he warned his friend, "Watch out, we're on display!"

Around midnight, both were sweaty from all the dancing and sat exhausted on the bench. Looking around, they noticed that one football player after another left his place at the table and disappeared into the darkness in front of the tent. As if by chance, one of the girls after the other gave up her place at the table and disappeared into the night also. About fifteen minutes later, both reappeared, first the young man with a red head and quite out of breath a hand in his pocket. He sat down at the table, puffed up with pride, and thirstily downed a beer. Immediately after, the girl showed up as well. As she came in, she quickly tried to fix her slipped clothes, beaming slightly ashamedly at her friends. Paul watched the maneuvering with amusement and then grinned, "Mr. Vicar, Mr. Vicar, you'll certainly have a lot to do soon. In the fall there'll be the weddings and around Christmas you'll have to baptize the offspring!"

As the two began to yawn and make an effort to go home, Alies leaned over to them, "Don't you want to get some fresh air, s' s'Babettle and s'Bärbelle have been squinting at you all the time!" he winked and pointed at the two girls who had asked them to the first dance, "They'd like to flirt with a Vicar or a teacher, that's part of the first of May custom around here!"

Paul was the first to respond "Thanks Alies, but Carlo has to say the first mass tomorrow morning, so I better take him home. He'll sure miss his way alone!" In their quick escape, they almost bumped into Father Mayer, who was standing in the tent entrance with the dignitaries of the village. "Take me with you," he groaned, "Without support, I can't tear myself away!" and the mayor laughed, "I'm sure he could use a prop going home!"

As the three slowly made their way up the steep path from the lower village to the upper village, the village pastor praised the two, "Well done children, this way you will learn the benefits of village life and gain the respect of the locals. The mayor was very proud that you danced so much. You seem to have really enjoyed the May festival."

When Paul woke up next to Carlo the next morning, his first observation was, "My, head, my head!" and the second, "You didn't have to do that! Rape me in my sleep, now I've got your jizz running out of my hole all over Mass!" then he laughed out loud, "It's not just s'Babettle that gets you hot after all! Right?? But just wait, today at noon I'll take revenge and think of s’Bärbelle." Then he became serious, "When are you going to show me your Ganymede? I can hardly wait."

"Magnus, my Ganymede? I thought you were jealous, and I'd better not bring him, or you'll poison him!"

"What a notion you have of me! I love you, so I love Ganymede also. I promise you, your Magnus will leave Hallberg Castle undammaged," then he grinned insolently, "and as far as I'm concerned, a virgin too!"
