Any resemblance with real people or places is totally bogus, cause this is all fictional, If you think otherwise, get out more. -Disclaimer- It hadn't really been a bad day, but Eric still felt depressed. Sure, he knew he was being a baby about everything, but still, somehow he just couldn't shake it off. Today, Eric had had his first day of school and it had been awesome as he had expected. He met up with some of his closest friends which he hadn't seen during the entire 2 month vacation period. For the first half of the school day all they really had done was catch up on gossip and bragging rights. The usual stuff you do on the first day. And that's what it started out like. It had been like every other day at school for Eric; fantastic. You see, for Eric everything came easy. He would always get good grades even without studying a whole lot or reading a lot of books. He had some of the best mates he could ask for, some he knew all his life. And the of course the fact that all the girls horned after him for his stunningly good looks and athletic and tan frame. Yeah, I guess you could say he had everything going for him. Why was it so different then, today? Eric thought to himself. Even though he damn well knew the answer to that question. He had a crush. A crush unlike he ever had before. It consumed him like nothing else had in the past, it was pissing him off. Everything seemed dull when he wasn't around and even his room felt like a cell in his absence, he almost resented him for it. Eric stretched his limbs, hearing the satisfying pops of his joints. He had walked home after school, not feeling like taking the bus, knowing he would probably have to repeat his holiday experience another 5 times at least. Eric had decided he needed some time to reflect It was after 3rd period break when he bumped into Jaden. Or rather the other way around. Eric had just used the men's and just as he wanted to exit, the door swung in hard, missing Eric by a hair. Eric was caught completely of guard and ended up just so surprised that he didn't even see the guy that ran into him. Both boys ended up on the floor with Eric somehow ending up on top. `Wow man, calm the fuck down will ya?!' Eric yelped as he scrambled to his feet. `You damn near banged me with the door you fucker!' He started rubbing his elbow, checking for tears or scuff marks. It was only when he didn't get an answer back when he even looked at the person on the floor. The boy, he was definitely younger, was lying on his side with his arm over his face, obviously crying. Eric was with him instantaneously. `Oh dude, are you ok?' Eric enquired grabbing the guys shoulder, trying to get a glimpse at his face. When he still received no response, he decided to maybe call one of the monitors in. `Alright, I'm going to get someone yeah?' Eric said and was on his way out when he heard a broken voice speak. `Please, don't.' Jaden said, swallowing his sobs. `I'm fine, really.' With that he sat up, removing his arm from his face. Jaden wanted to apologize but when he saw Eric looking down on him he lost the capacity for speech altogether. Eric as well was struck by Jaden's appearance. On the floor sat the most beautiful image he had ever seen. He was shorter than Eric, but it looked good on him. He was a bit slimmer than Eric was, but he pulled it of nicely. In fact, he looked perfect. Eric had always been a big fan of blonde's, yet they all paled before this young wet dream he was staring at right now. Suddenly Eric realized he should say something to the boy, panicking slightly Eric finally came up with `Hey.' He felt dumb. Jaden smiled at that. Eric was doing somersaults in his stomach, seeing Jaden smile. `Hey, yourself.' Jaden answered wiping away a stray tear. Which Eric interpreted as the most endearing thing ever. `Are you ok?' Eric asked sincerely concerned his vision had hurt himself. `That was a pretty hard fall.' Jaden was so incredibly embarrassed about being caught crying like a little girl that the pain in his shoulder didn't even register with him. `Yeah, I'm good, listen I'm sorry about this. I shouldn't have run in here like that, I just figured everyone was in class already you know?' `Don't sweat it, let me help you up.' Eric offered his hand. When Jaden grabbed his hand it felt like a million little sparks traveled up his spine. `So,' Eric groaned as he pulled Jade to his feet. `What got to you? You look miserable.' Great, I he thinks I'm hideous! Jaden thought. He looked down. Eric realized that Jaden may have taken it the wrong way and hurried to clarify. `I mean, you look nice, just sad?' This remark of course made Jaden look up again. `You think I look nice?' Eric kind of shrugged his shoulders, trying to look casual. `Well, yeah, I mean, you know, don't get me wrong.' `How should I take it?' Eric was starting to stammer. `Hell I don't know, you just look sad ok?' Jaden looked down again. `It's no big deal, just people talking you know how it is?' `I don't actually? What are they saying?' Eric said trying to look emphatic. Jaden paused for a second, studying his feet. Then he just looked up and, staring Eric straight in the eyes said. `They found out I'm gay.' Eric was struck dumb by Jaden's blunt answer and even though he wanted to say so many things, he just couldn't. All he could do was silently thank God for all his blessings! Surely, a guy like that, gay, in his school, must be a gift from God. At Eric's lack of a response Jaden decided he might as well leave. He obviously freaked the guy out. At least he hadn't called him any names. This time it was Eric's voice that pulled Jaden back in. `Me too.' -Side Note!- If you think this story sucked ass, please let me know and if you have tips or suggestions, please don't hesitate.
