Not So Grown Up - Part 3

                                                by Sam The Ham

-------------------------------------------------------

Henry sat on the couch, staring out the window. He was wearing his baseball uniform, which was dark blue with black lettering. Half of his attention was on his phone and the other half was on the driveway. When a red car pulled into the driveway, he stood up. "Mom, Dad, they're here."

Grabbing his cleats, he went out the front door and sat down on the front steps to put them on. His parents followed him.

The door to the red Subaru opened. The brothers popped out from either side, running towards Henry. "Wow, you look completely different in that!" Ashton said.

Henry smiled trying to hide his embarrassment. He mostly wore his brother's hand-me-downs, which tended to be baggy on his thinner frame. This year in Little League, he had a full uniform and not just a shirt. "Thanks?"

Henry looked over at the car where two men were emerging. He was not sure what he was expecting, but it was not what he saw. One of the men was slightly overweight and looked to be in his forties. The other one did not look much older than his brother.

"Are you the parents of these two bottomless pits?" Henry heard his mom call out.

"And you must be the parents of the wonderful Henry we've heard so much about." The older of the two men said.

"Do parents know they're embarrassing?" Ashton muttered.

"I think it's just natural," Henry replied as he slowly made his way over to the adults.

Everybody introduced themselves but only using their first names. For the first time, Henry wondered if the brothers shared a last name or not. Come to think of it, he was not sure if the men were married or just living together or what. He was curious about it, but the conversation quickly turned to more mundane things, like what everyone did for a living.

Luckily, the little gathering lasted only a few minutes. They all got in their cars and headed down to the park. Henry went immediately to his teammates to start warming up, but he looked away on occasion to see if the brothers had met up with anyone yet. He saw Ashton talking to a boy that looked to be about the same age, but no Mason. As the game started, Henry put them out of mind.

When they were up to bat in the third inning, they got bubble gum delivered to the dugout. Henry watched the pitcher when TJ, one of his teammates, handed him a piece of gum. "I don't think my brother is going to get along with your neighbor."

"Hum?" Henry said, turning his attention towards his teammate. "Why not?"

TJ was larger than Henry in every aspect. His extra weight held a lot of power, which made him ideal for the cleanup position. "I didn't ask for a full report. I just asked if he gave the new kid a shot yet. He said he was bossy."

"Really?" Henry had never thought of Mason as being bossy.

"Yeah, well, that's coming from my brother. He can be a little cry-baby." TJ said.

"Your brother?" Henry asked.

The larger boy nodded to confirm it. "If everything doesn't go his way, he tends to throw a hissy fit. Mom spoils him."

Henry did not know what to say to that, so he stayed silent. TJ found that amusing after a second, because he started laughing. "Not everyone can get along with everyone like you can."

"What?" Henry chuckled. "I don't get along with everyone."

"Yeah, you do. Henry, you are the only one in the mediator program anyone went to, as far as I could tell. I mean, I wouldn't have gone out of my way to try to help some new neighbors of mine like you are. It's not a bad thing. It's just the way you are."

Again, Henry did not know what to say. Initially, he had only wanted to spend time with the brothers because he had been bored. It just made sense to ask his teammates if they had any siblings their age. Was it strange to do that? He could not be sure.

He did not think about the brothers again until the fifth inning when he was going up to bat, and he heard Ashton call out. "Knock it out at the park!"

Henry looked over to see the older brother standing next to two other boys. It was a little embarrassing, but at least he got a double and did not strikeout. The game ended with a rather low score at 5 to 3 but it was a victory. After saying good game to the other team, he went to get his free hot dog.

Seeing his parents standing with the new neighbors, he made his way over there. Mason was with them, leaning against the older of the two men. Henry smiled when his dad commented on his double play.

"Yeah, that was funny," Mason said, jumping in. Pulling away from his dad, he did a little spin just as Henry had to tag the runner as they ran by. "The runner had this kind of face like what happened?" Mason continued pitching his voice higher.

"I think this is the most excited you've ever been to watch a baseball game. You sure you don't want to try it out?" The younger father asked.

Mason shook his head. "Too much standing around. I only like watching it because Henry was playing."

"Oh, did you make any friends?" Henry asked.

Mason shrugged. "We hung out for a while, but then they want to go to the creek and get all muddy. I watched you instead."

Henry did not know how to respond to that, feeling a little embarrassed. It was one thing to have his parents watch him, but he never thought anyone else paid attention to him out there.

"Ashton made some friends. They live just across from the park." The younger man said, pointing to a house in the distance. "He's over there now."

Henry nodded. "That's where Peter lives. He's our catcher. I thought he had a brother."

"Well, it was a very nice suggestion you made," The older of the two men said. "It was nice to meet some people in the community too."

Mason started jumping up and down. "Can I ask now?"

His mom broke out by asking another question. "Henry, we are going to swing up to the store. Would you like to come with us or..."

Mason jumped in. "We could take you home. I want to show you my room first. You haven't been to my house yet. Come on; I got it all set up now!"

Henry hesitated. However, Mason was giving him such a pleading look. He felt uneasy. "Sure, although I have seen your house before, just not when you were living there."

Mason looked a little confused. This time it was Henry's father who came to Mason's aid. "The O'keefes, the people who used to live there threw Christmas parties. I'm sure it will look vastly different now."

"Oh, right," Mason said. "Well, you can see my room now."

With that decided, they broke up a few minutes later, Henry strolled with Mason to their red Subaru. Mason kept up with a running commentary on things going from subject to subject. Henry did not think Mason was usually this excitable but wrote it off to being happy to show off his room. Henry felt self-conscious on the car ride, but Mason kept up such a running monologue that it was hard to get a word in edgewise.

Before going in, the teenager took his cleats off outside. Except for a new grass stain on one knee of his uniformly, it was still clean. He followed Mason upstairs.

"At our old house, I shared a room with Ashton, but now we got separate rooms. Our dads' bedroom is on the first floor, so it's like the whole upper floor is ours!" Mason explained.

"That's going to be nice." Henry said mostly because he had not said anything for a while.

If Henry remembered right, there were three bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom. It was weird seeing the house decorated differently. When he had been younger, some of the kids would always play hide-and-seek upstairs while the adults did what adults did at parties. The stairs squeaked more than he remembered.

Mason's room looked typical. There was a toy box at the foot of his bed, a little desk, and a small nightstand with a Basketball lamp on it. He had a rather large Matchbox garage. Mason showed off the cars, and for a while, they took turns racing them down.

Mason seemed to be falling back into his usual self. After picking up one car and staring at it for a moment he looked over at Henry. "We're really friends, right?"

"Yeah, I think so," Henry said with a smile. "I've been having a lot of fun with you and your brother."

"Yeah, but we're friends?" Mason insisted, gesturing between the two of them. "I'm not just a tag-along, right?"

Henry considered for a second. "If you were just a tag-along, I don't think I would be in your room. So, I'm your friend and your brother's friend."

Mason smiled. "I want to show you something. It's super-secret, though. I only ever showed it to my best friend and Ashton. You can't tell anyone about it."

That is interesting, Henry thought. "Well, if you think I can be trusted, okay, what is it."

Mason laid down on the floor and reached under his nightstand, pulling out a little notepad. It was the type you usually found in a pack of three or five. 60 Pages flipping over each other. Mason got back up on his knees and flipped it open before turning it around and letting Henry see it.

Henry took it and looked. At first, it did not make much sense. The handwriting was messy, and there were lots of numbers written in different colors.

"Turn the page, it's neater." Mason said, sounding a little self-conscious.

Henry flipped the page over, and then it made a lot more sense. At the top of the page was a name, Ashton. The next line had three sets of numbers on it. There was a date 3/21 followed by a space 1-inch 7/8, on the far side of the page. There was a number 10. Another entry underneath it was essentially the same except the last number was 11. The last entry was dated only a few days ago. This time it was 2 in 1/8.

Henry flipped the page, and the next entry had Mason written at the top. Again, there were three entries, and it seems he was an even 3 in. The next page had another name on it, Jason. This time there were only two entries, with the biggest measurement being two and a half inches. There were several other pages after that.

Henry felt himself start to get hard. Considering he was still wearing a rather tight baseball uniform, it felt uncomfortable. He flipped the page again, finding another name with only a single entry. With one exception, all the other entries had only one entry. Zeke had two, and considering he was 11, Henry figured he was one of Ashton's old friends.

"You've measured boys when they have a boner?"

Mason nodded. "The first time I saw Ashton, I knew I was bigger, but he said I was just big, and he was normal. I didn't believe him, so I measured a few of my friends and showed him. He's just small." Mason seemed to take a particular delight in making that announcement. "I think I'm big, though."

Henry agreed that Ashton was on the small side. As for Mason or the others, he did not know what normal was. "Maybe, I don't know."

Mason looked down, and for a second, Henry thought he might be embarrassed. Then he followed where the boy was looking. Maybe he should have been embarrassed himself, but it was not like Mason had not seen it before.

"Can I measure it?" Mason asked.

Without saying a word, Henry started to lean back until he was lying down. Kicking his legs out straight, he brought his knees together. His erection was fighting against the stretchy material of his uniform. There was a rather large bulge, and he could feel it pushing upwards, trying to be upright.

Standing up, Mason crawled over his bed to his desk. A moment later, he came back with a ruler. It was a clear one. Mason squatted on his haunches and looked over at Henry. It took Henry a second to realize what the younger boy was waiting for. Reaching down, the teenager pulled his pants down.

His erection popped out, and the relief from the pressure sent a small wave of pleasure through him. Mason stared down at it. "Is it on the way big?"

"No, give me a second." Henry said, playing with it for a bit until it was sticking. Only then did he let it go.

Henry was not exactly sure what Mason was going to do, how he was going to measure it. The boy was on one knee next to Henry and slipped the ruler, so it was on top of Henry's erection. Without asking, the boy reached over and touched it, adjusting it so it would be on the ruler.

Henry tried not to squirm. "Careful, you might make it go small."

Mason giggled but did not say anything. He leaned in close until his nose was almost touching his erection. The ruler was adjusted, and suddenly Mason moved away and wrote something down on the pad of paper.

"I should double-check." Mason said, grabbing the ruler again and lining it up.

Henry could feel his body tense up as the boy touched him again. However, it was different this time. Like before, Mason placed Henry's penis against the ruler. Yet, this time a little hand wrapped around it. Mason was so close to Henry's crotch, and he could feel the younger boy's breath. The younger boy had to be smelling the sweat of the day and did not seem to mind. Mason's hand started to move up and down the shaft a little. He did not push it up and down all the way, just a little at the base. Henry tilted his head back and closed his eyes.

It came as a complete surprise when he felt something touch the tip of his erection. It was wet, and when Henry looked up, he saw Mason smiling back. The little boy partly opened his mouth, stuck out his tongue again. The tip of tongue met with the tip of his cock for a second longer time. Henry watched as he let Mason explore his hard-on.

It was so weird, and he was not sure if you should stop it or just let it go. Hormones wont out and his climax came rather suddenly. He had the feeling of a built-up, but it did not last as long as usual. He felt a warm liquid climbing up his dick, and it emerged all at once, a little jet of liquid still mostly clear. Mason pulled suddenly back away.

Henry twisted his hips, not wanting any liquid to get on his team jersey. Despite his efforts, he saw a little wet spot on his stomach. He stared at it before deciding it did not look too bad.

"You do stuff like that with Ashton?" Henry asked.

Mason was sitting up on his knees now. "Sometimes." Mason said cautiously.

Henry sat up and looked at the boy. Smiling, he reached over. "I'm guessing he returns the favor."

For a second, he looked like Mason was about to bolt, but he did not resist as Henry pushed him down. He started to let out a burst of laughter when Henry began to work the boy's shorts down.

Mason was already hard. His little thing was sticking straight up towards his belly. Henry stared at it, realizing this was the first time he could study it. The boy had a pair of small balls in their sack. Henry was not sure why, but he reached for one of the toy cars. Maybe it just seemed funny. He put the car over the erection covering it, and slowly started moving it up and down.

Mason liked that. Henry kept doing it but figured he should do something with his tongue. He leaned forward and looked at one of the balls before letting his tongue slide to the side then the other one. Mason let out a giggle, and for the next several minutes, nothing was said. Henry brought Mason to climax. It was a much cleaner one.

Henry was not sure what to do after something like that. It felt wrong just leaving, so they played with the cars again. After about twenty minutes, Henry did say he wanted to go and change. Mason looked like he was about to argue but instead simply stood up and hugged Henry. Henry hugged him back before heading downstairs.

Henry was not sure what to call the two men. If he had been told how to address them, it had slipped his mind. The younger one was at the kitchen table working on a laptop, and he said thank you for the ride home. The man barely looked up from the computer and gave a half-hearted wave. Henry thought he would leave without much fuss until he stepped outside and almost ran into the other one.

"Henry, I was hoping to catch you before you left," The man said. "Care to sit for a minute?"

Henry did not want to, but he still needed to put his cleats back on. "Um, okay."

The porch had three pieces of furniture, a loveseat and two chairs. The man sat down on the loveseat, and Henry took one of the chairs working on tying his laces.

"That was a nice thing you did, trying to have the boys meet up with some other kids their age." The man started.

Henry remembered what TJ had said earlier. "Well, when they came to my place, they were looking for kids their age. I was trying to help out."

"And you did. You seem like a genuinely nice young man judging from what your parents said about you and what my boys have said about you." The man paused then took a sip from his coffee cup. "I grew up in a town like this. Sometimes geography has a bigger impact on your friendships than other factors. Do you like them, or are you just being polite?"

Henry could feel his face getting warmer. "Yes, I like them. They're fun."

"I'm glad to hear that. Your parents told me you've never moved, but I did a few times as a kid. It can be hard getting uprooted. I'm glad they were both able to find a friend."

Henry finished lacing up his shoes, hoping that was the end of the conversation. "They can come swimming whenever they want."

"I'm sure they'll take you up on that. Mason is part fish, I swear. Of course, what the three of you have been doing at the Clubhouse is probably fun too."

As hot as it was, Henry felt very cold. He stared down at his shoes and could not raise his head. That was until he heard the chuckling.

"Henry, if I didn't approve any of that stuff, do you think I would have let you spend so much time with Mason just now alone in his room?"

Henry felt his face flush. Even hearing the words, he felt tears coming to his eyes, wondering what was about to happen. His brain had just seized up and after second the man took pity on him.

"Henry, you're not in trouble. Listen to me. Alan and I decided that we would allow our boys to explore freely. We do like to stay informed so we can help them if anything comes up. I know my boys initiated the stuff with you. To make sure that they never push you into something you're not comfortable with or vice versa. You're not in trouble. I'm just telling you I'm here if you ever need to talk about anything in that realm. I just want my boys to be safe. If you're going to be doing stuff with them, I want you to know you can ask us questions. You seem like a lovely boy. I hope you are a good friend to my sons."

Henry still could not come up with a response. He said something like okay. It was not until he was crossing the street that it all started to sink in.
