This story is about sex between boys and is therefore a total fantasy. It was written by an adult for the entertainment of other adults. No children or animals were either involved or harmed in the writing of this story. Please leave now if you are not supposed to be here.

Writing the continuing saga of the Kids of Indian Spring has become a real community effort. My original intention was to conclude the Sandy Jacobs Story after Chapter 10. But my primary co-author and invaluable assistant, Pietar, convinced me that the many loose ends left open by the original author, Jonas Henley, needed to be resolved. As a result, he became the principal author of Chapters 11, 12, and 13. Thank you Pietar for your original ideas, brilliant writing and your continued dedication and commitment to this project. Now a third author, Nick, has volunteered to take on the role of crafting the future long-term direction of the story. You may recall that Nick was first involved in Chapter 12C. Please ensure you make Nick welcome by dropping him a line.

Monday July 14th - Old Knot

Jason Mackey, Paul Hardin, Sandy Jacobs and James Cormack had spent the last 2 hours putting the finishing touches on the facility. Tomorrow was the big day and they wanted all the little detail work completed today. There would be no time tomorrow.

The restrooms were clean. The stage was swept. The bleachers had been wiped down and the entire area was litter free. Paul set up his vote counting table and put all his lists, forms, and accessories in a box which he placed under the table and then covered the whole thing with a tarp. Jason had placed all the stage supplies like Vaseline, paper towels and drinking water on the deck behind the stage ready to be put out in the morning. Sandy and James had put tape markers along the rails to show the two foot spacing for feet and set up the check-in table. As everybody completed their tasks and did a final look around Jason came up from behind the stage and called them together. After thanking them all for their assistance he switched to talking about the big day.

"I know you all have your assignments for tomorrow but there is one thing I did not put on those lists. I need all your help with something special. It has to do with Rory Mackey and what I'm going to say I'd like to keep among ourselves. On Saturday I learned about a problem the kid has that could affect the Choosing. Had I known about it when we made up the list I would have recommended we give him an exemption. But we didn't know and it's too late to do that now." Jason then went on to tell them about the boy's PTSD and the possibility of him going into one of his rages. He explained to them that Rory could feel it when it was coming on and that certain things could trigger it.

"This sounds like a bad scene just waiting to explode. Why don't we give him an exemption?" Paul asked.

"I did think about it, but I decided against it. Can you imagine the rumors that would go around if we did that now? They'd say we caved in to pressure from the rich boy's momma or even worse, we were paid off. It would make the whole council look bad. Even if he was officially in the brotherhood he'd never be accepted if we bottom three Mackey boys and then let him out of the Choosing. On top of that, he wants to be in it."

"So what do we do?" asked James.

"First, I want James to stay close to the kid. Being held down is one of the triggers that might set him off so watch for anybody leaning or pressing on his back. He said he could tell us if he's going to go off and if he does running can beat it. If he tells you he needs to run we send him running to the road and back. That's over a mile and might wear him out. I'll order him to run and make it look like a punishment for something."

"What about the rest of us?" Sandy asked.

"I just need you all to be observant. Keep an eye on him and whoever is hanging around him. He is in the Choosing so he's subject to inspection, but let's try to keep it from getting to rough. I know this kid is going to be a target and we can't stop it all, but try to keep it from going too far. We can't tell anybody not to touch him but we might try distracting them by striking up a conversation or something. Just do the best you can."

"Shit. Just what we need. Another problem," muttered Paul.

"I know it sounds hard, but I think we can get him through it. Will you guys help?"

Everyone said they'd give it their best effort.

"Thanks guys. Now why don't you all call it a day here. I'm not looking forward to the meeting this afternoon. It's going to be unpleasant but it has to be done. I'll see you all there.

James offered Sandy a ride home and he accepted. As they walked down the path toward the car, Sandy expressed some reservations about the council's decision regarding Shawn, Michael and Andrew.

"Do you think we're doing the right thing bottoming those boys?"

"Yes, I do. They were caught red-handed in a big lie."

"Yeah, I know. But bottoming them at the Choosing feels like we're making the punishment extra harsh."

"I gotta side with Jason on that. They made it part of the Choosing when they got us involved. It's not that different than if we just bottomed them. There would still be a public fucking. This will be a larger audience than the required 10 Mackeys but they spread their story all over creation and this is the only way Jason can show everybody the truth."

"I guess. It just feels funny."

"If you win the election and become President you're going to have to do a lot of things that might feel funny. The important thing is that it feels like you're doing the right thing."

They rode home in silence as Sandy thought about what James said. When they pulled up in front of the Jacobs' home he said goodbye and got out of the car. James leaned over to the open window and reminded his friend, "Remember, they got themselves into this mess. They deserve what's coming."

The Hagen House

The 12-year-old friends were sitting in the garage talking about tomorrows Choosing.

"The part I hate the most is when they open up for voting and everybody comes up on stage and slaps your ass and sticks a finger in your butt. They even tickle your balls and pull your dick and you gotta stay still or you'll get a checkmark," complained Oak.

"It is hard cause they're trying to get you in trouble," added Ethan. "They think it's funny."

"I don't know if I could keep my feet spread like we're supposed to with somebody tickling my balls," said Scooter.

"You're supposed to keep them the full two feet apart. Have any of you guys tried that? Two feet apart is pretty far," said Ben Brewer.

"I never checked it out. Let me get a ruler so we can see what it feels like." Scooter jumped up and ran into the house. He returned in a couple of minutes with a ruler in hand.

They put marks on the garage floor showing the proper spacing and Scooter was the first to try it. He put his feet on the marks and bent over. "Oh wow! Your balls are an easy target."

"I'm not worried about my balls as much as I am about my asshole. I stuck a finger in there and it kinda hurt. I had to go real slow to get it in. I hope they're gentle when they lube us up," worried Koby.

"If the council guys do it they're careful. It's the 10-year-olds you gotta watch out for. They'll just jam a finger right in there," said Chase.

"What are you guys talking about?" asked Rory as he entered the garage.

"What do you think we're talking about?" asked Oak sarcastically.

"Alright, that was a dumb question. Maybe I should have asked what part are you talking about?"

"We were talking about getting lubed up," answered Chase.

Ethan Tucker spoke up next. "My mom uses so much Vaseline when she gives you the enema that I'll probably be lubed up when I get there." His comment made everyone laugh except Rory.

"What's an enema?" he asked.

"Oh man, you got a lot to learn. It's when they fill your butt with soapy water and make you hold it until you think your guts gonna burst and then they let you shit it out," offered Oak.

Rory laughed.

"No, he's serious," Ethan said. "They have a big bag they fill with soap and water. It's got a hose connected to it with a nozzle on the end. Your mom pushes the nozzle in your butt and then let's it flow into you rear until you can't hold anymore. Then you go to the bathroom and poop it out and you're all clean inside."

"And ready to be fucked," said Koby. No one laughed.

"I'm not asking my mom to do that," said Rory very seriously.

"Don't worry about it. I can ask my mom to do it for you," offered Chase.

"I don't know your mom that well," replied Rory with a shocked look on his face.

"Don't worry about it right now. We'll figure something out. How about coming outside with me for a minute so I can tell you something in private," said Chase.

"Uh, okay," answered Rory. After the revelation about the enema he was afraid of what else his friend was going to tell him. The others watched as the two boys walked down the drive. They were curious, but these were trusted friends so no one asked what they were going to talk about. Outside Rory spoke first.

"What's wrong that you didn't want to say it in front of everybody?"

"Nothing's wrong. Actually, I have good news. The council knows Shawn and them lied. My brother told me this morning. We're not supposed to say anything yet because they haven't told the boys they know the truth. They are probably gonna be in big trouble."

"Well they should be. I gave that Jason guy a recording of the whole thing so he knows exactly what happened."

"So that's how they found out. How did you get a recording of it?"

"Oh, I guess I flipped my music player to record when it all started. I forgot about it until Jason came over and wanted to talk about it." Rory didn't want to admit he recorded conversations all the time.

"Okay cool. You want to sleep over at my place tonight?"

"I can't. My mom already said she wants me home tonight. She wants it to be just me and her."

"I understand. Let's go back in then. Remember don't bring up anything about Shawn, Michael and Andrew yet." Chase was disappointed. He had really wanted Rory to come over tonight. Not for sex. He just wanted his company. He didn't want to tell anyone he was going to bottom himself tomorrow but he hated being alone and thinking about it. Maybe Stevie would be home.

When they rejoined the group in the garage the subject had moved on from enemas to blow jobs.

"If you get a checkmark this year you can get rid of it by letting them whack your butt. I think I'd do that instead of giving somebody a blow job," said Ben Brewer.

"Yeah, me too," agreed Koby. "I know everybody here has given a blow job to somebody, but it's different at the Choosing. You don't get to pick who you're giving it to. It's fun to make a friend feel good but at Old Knot some of them guys aren't real nice. They call you bitch, slut or cocksucker and they try to ram their dicks down your throat. I'd rather get my ass whacked."

"I get my ass whacked enough at home. I'd rather suck a dick for a few minutes. Some of the guys do talk like that but they don't mean nothing. They're just playing," said Oak.

"Maybe we'll be lucky," Scooter grinned "and we won't get any checkmarks."

Chase laughed out loud. "Fat chance. They always seem to find some reason to give you one."

Just then Scooter's mom stuck her head out the door and told Rory his mom wanted him home. She gave the others five minutes to wrap up because Scooter had things to do also. As they broke up it was agreed that they would meet here tomorrow morning and go to Old Knot together.

Jason Mackey's House

Due to both curiosity and nerves Sandy arrived an hour early for the meeting. He found Jason in the backyard arranging a mismatched collection of lawn chairs.

"Can I help?" he offered.

"Sure!" Jason looked up to see the first arrival. "I need three chairs up front for the guests of honor and the rest set up back here."

Sandy helped arrange them as requested and then asked about the proceedings.

"How are you gonna handle this? We already know what happened."

"Actually, I'm not going to handle it. I'm turning that role over to Paul. He was the one they lied to and tried to draw the council in, so I'm letting him start things off. I'll take over when it's time to inform them of their punishment."

"Paul can be really harsh."

"In this case that might be what they need."

Sandy thought about the comment and couldn't really disagree. He sat down as Jason excused himself to go in and change his shirt. As he sat and thought Hayden and Hank arrived. A few minutes later Joe, Ernie and Paul appeared and joined the group. Paul seemed very upbeat as if he were looking forward to confronting the boys. He had been very unhappy that they had tried to use him.

Jason came out of the house accompanied by James and joined the group. They both sat down with Sandy.

"Looks like everyone's here except for the stars of the show," said Jason.

"Bert isn't here yet," replied Sandy.

"He won't be coming today," answered Jason drawing a surprised look from Sandy.

"Do you know Chandler Mackey?" Jason asked.

"Uh, yes. He's Carl's big brother. He's a good guy, as far as I know," answered Sandy.

"You're right; he is. He's also best friends with Bert. Chandler's family and the Sanders are good friends. I think they might even be second cousins or something. Anyway, Bert is concerned that this business is going to affect his friendship with Chandler so he's trying to distance himself from it."

"He voted to bottom them right along with the rest of us," Sandy reminded the group.

"Yes he did. He did the right thing when he had to but he's trying to stay in the background now. There's nothing wrong with that."

"The men of the hour have arrived," said James softly.

Looking up, Sandy saw Shawn Sanders, Michael Mackey and Andrew Carrigan coming into the yard. Shawn and Michael were smiling. Andrew had a serious expression on his face. On the way over Shawn had reassured his friends they were probably summoned so that they could tell their tale to the full council. Paul had already told them the story but he figured they wanted to hear it right from the source before they decided Rory's punishment. He told them to let him answer any questions the councilmen might ask and both boys were fine with that. Michael accepted Shawn's version of what was going to happen, but Andrew was not so sure. He had been brought up to respect the council and the idea of standing before them and supporting a lie did not feel right at all.

Paul got up and greeted the boys. "Come on in guys. We're going to set you guys right up front here." He then glanced at Jason who gave him a nod to proceed.

Turning to the three boys, Paul began. "Even though we are sitting in a backyard enjoying the sun I want to point out that this is an official Jr. Council meeting. Everything said here today will become part of our records. If everyone is ready, we'll begin now."

Jason rose and stated. "As President of the council I call this meeting to order and I turn the floor over to Paul Hardin."

"Thank you," replied Paul. Then he addressed the three boys again. "Last Thursday you guys came over to my house looking pretty beat up and told me a story about getting beat up by Rory Mackey. I'd like you to tell that same story to the council today."

As they had previously agreed, Shawn acted as the spokesman. He had been repeating the tale so often that he had it pretty well memorized. He even added little details like where he hung his clothes before swimming and what they were talking about. He liked being the center of attention and felt the group was really listening to him.

In the audience Jason leaned over and whispered to Sandy, "There's our ringleader and probably the mastermind of the whole affair. Now I have to figure out which of the other two is the weak link that I can break." Sandy got a kick out of the way Jason analyzed things.

When Shawn got to the part where Rory appeared out of nowhere and attacked them for no reason, he got out of his chair and swung an imaginary club to demonstrate. When he finally finished he sat back down and described their injuries. The group laughed when he said Michael looked like he was wearing a clown nose. Michael didn't think it was funny, but he was happy with the way Shawn told the story. Andrew was still nervous and studied the faces of the council members trying to decide if they believed it at all.

Paul then took over again. "That's pretty much the way you told it to me last week. If I remember correctly you said you wanted me to ask the council to give the boy three checkmarks at the Choosing too. Is that right?"

"We thought that would be fair. One for each of us," said Shawn.

"Okay then my fellow councilmen, you heard the same story I did. Does anybody have any questions?" Paul asked.

"I do," said Jason as he approached the boys at the front. As planned, Paul stepped aside and let the President take over.

"One thing I don't quite understand is your injuries," began Jason. "You said Rory came up behind Andrew swinging that big stick but he didn't have any bruises on his back. Just a bruised face and a black eye. How did that happen?"

Andrew was feeling sick to his stomach as he tried to think of an answer. Shawn jumped in with an explanation quickly. "I guess I said he hit him from behind but he might have hit him on the side of his face. You know he was swinging that stick wildly and I guess I missed exactly where it hit."

"I see. Then I guess the same goes for you Michael. Did he hit you in the nose with the stick even though he came up behind you?"

"Uhmm, yeah. I mean I guess he did. It happened kind of quick," replied Michael nervously.

Jason continued. "Did any of you say you were representatives of the council?"

All three boys froze. They must have talked to Rory if they knew that. Shawn was trying to think fast but all he came up with was to deny it.

"Heck no. Why would we do that. We were just hanging out and swimming. Rory Mackey is a liar," Shawn replied angrily.

"No need to get upset Shawn. It's my job to get the facts and that means asking hard questions. As long as you're telling the truth you don't have to worry. So, how about you Michael. Is what we heard here today the truth?"

The young teen was beyond nervous. He was scared. He looked at Shawn and nodded his head.

"Is that a yes?" Jason asked.

"Yes," Michael answered.

Jason then stood in front of Andrew. "How about you Carrigan? Do you agree that Shawn's version of what happened down at the creek is the truth?"

Andrew looked at Jason's face and then looked down at the ground. This whole thing had gone too far. His dad had always told him that the truth will come out in the end and he believed that. If he lied to the council now they would eventually find out and it could follow him the rest of his life. He just couldn't do it. "No," he mumbled.

"What the hell, Andrew," shouted Shawn. "Did I leave something out? Tell me."

"Quiet Shawn. You had your chance," said Jason firmly. "It seems at least one of you has a conscience. I'm glad to hear you say that Andrew because I know exactly what happened." Pulling the recorder from his pocket he hit play. All the color drained from Shawn's face when he heard his own voice say, "We're representatives from the Jr. Council." Jason let the recording play for about a minute and then hit stop.

"Now that does not sound at all like the story you just told us, does it Shawn."

Shawn was crushed. He was caught in a lie and there was no way out. He looked at Jason and replied, "No sir."

"Do you have anything to say for yourself?"

"No sir. We lied." Shawn was scared but he was also angry. How could Andrew have sold him out like this. Even if they had that recording he might have thought of something.

"How about you Michael. Do you have anything to say?"

"No sir." The boy was on the verge of tears as he responded.

"Andrew, you're hanging your head and staring at the ground but in my opinion you're the only one up here who should be holding his head up. You got yourself involved in something very stupid but when the chips were down you told the truth. That doesn't excuse your behavior but it does make me respect you a little more. Do you have anything to say?"

"It was a dumb idea. I don't know why I went along with it, but I did. I'm sorry."

Jason then turned to the audience and asked, "Council members, do any of you have any questions before I talk about their punishment?"

Hank Mackey raised his hand and Jason recognized him. "Go ahead Hank."

"Why did you boys pick on this kid? Did he do something to you or was it just because he's new around here?"

As usual, Shawn appointed himself as spokesman. "We heard he liked to get fucked and we thought he wouldn't mind if we made him feel good. We weren't gonna hurt him."

"That's the dumbest thing I ever heard," replied Hank. "You mean to tell me you didn't pick him because he's smaller than you or because he's a newcomer. You picked him because you heard he liked to get fucked!" exclaimed Hank.

Michael, feeling that Hank might be sympathetic, decided to throw in his defense. "Bryce told us that if we gave him a good fuck and made him cum he wouldn't care." Jason looked at Sandy to see if he picked up on that comment and they exchanged knowing glances.

"Well he cared enough to kick all your asses, didn't he," said Hank making the council members laugh.

"Anybody else have any questions?" Jason asked as he looked over the audience.

"You three stay right here while I talk with the rest of the council for a minute and then I'll let you know what is going to happen." Jason stepped away from the boys and called the council into a huddle.

"You all heard what they had to say. Is there any additional discussion on bottoming them?" Jason asked. He scanned everyone's face as he waited and didn't see any signs of disagreement. "Okay then. I want to add an additional punishment if the council agrees. I'd like to give ownership of each of these guys mouths to a 12-year-old for, oh, let's say three months. I don't like the fact that they ganged-up on a younger kid at all. Anybody disagree?" Again there was silence. "Good, I am also thinking of making Andrew the bottom's bottom. After tomorrow you're going to have over a dozen bottoms Jacobs. I think it could be useful and it would give the kid a little break. Any objections?" The group agreed with the idea. "Then we're ready. I'll let them know their punishment now so have a seat."

Jason walked back to the three very nervous and frightened looking boys. "Gentlemen, all three of you are guilty of falsely presenting yourselves as representatives of the Jr. Council. You also lied to the council and attempted to manipulate us to affect the Choosing. You then spread this story all over in order to get a boy bottomed. We could add attempted rape to the list but since you failed so miserably we're going to forget about that. As punishment for these crimes all three of you will be bottoms for a period of one year. Shawn and Michael, you will be Community Bottoms. Andrew, you will be the Bottom's Bottom." Jason paused here as the boys reacted.

"No please! My Dad will kill me," pleaded Shawn.

"I've already spoken with all your dads and they have agreed with our decision. They will stay out of it as long as you accept your punishment. They all said I should call them if there were any problems. Is there a problem Shawn?"

"No," he answered softly. He knew he was trapped.

Michael couldn't believe this was happening but he knew there was nothing he could do. His whole life suddenly changed and he was trying to figure out how to handle it as he stared at Jason. Andrew was filled with regret. The fact that his dad knew hurt him deeply. He always tried to make his dad proud of him and this was going to do just the opposite. His dad would be ashamed of him.

"In addition to being bottomed, each of you will give ownership of your mouths to one of the boys on the line tomorrow for a period of three months. You will also forfeit your voting privileges for this years' Choosing. If you perform your service you will get them back next year. Any questions?"

The boys were too overwhelmed to ask anything.

"I want you all at Old Knot by 9am. You will strip down and join Paul Hardin on the stage. He will show you your assigned spots. Of course, no one will be voting for you but you will be community property. You will be subject to inspection and checkmarks. Finally you will be part of the public fucking and officially become bottoms. Now go home and don't be late tomorrow."

Shawn got up and left first. He didn't speak to his friends; he just stormed out of the yard. Michael turned to Andrew and said, "It ain't your fault. We all did this together."

"We really fucked up this time. I never thought I'd be a bottom," replied Andrew as they left the yard. He was dreading facing his family. Getting bottomed at the Choosing was one thing, but getting bottomed for punishment was shameful. As they headed for home Michael jabbered away about things Andrew didn't really want to hear. He remembered that Carter told him the public fucking really hurt and his butt hole was sore for three days. He talked about having to let kids you didn't like fuck you and worried about getting checkmarks. Andrew let his friend talk because it seemed to be helping him. He didn't look like he was going to cry anymore. When they reached the point where Andrew cut off they looked at one another sadly. "I'll see you in the morning if you want to go together."

"Yes. I want to. Thanks Andrew." Then they parted ways. Both boys were dreading the next day. It was really hard to go to the Choosing worrying that you might be bottomed. It is harder when you already know your fate.

Rory Mackey's House

Rory and his mom had enjoyed a quiet dinner together and were sitting in the living room watching a movie. Suzanne Mackey was just as nervous as her son about the Choosing but she had been told not to bring the subject up. It wasn't something boys were comfortable discussing with their moms.

She couldn't bear the silence between them so she told Rory about the caterer she had arranged for the party tomorrow afternoon. Suzanne had wanted to host the party at her place but the boys all decided it should be at the Brewer's to make things easier for Cal. She couldn't argue with that. All the other moms agreed to let Suzanne handle the food and she was content with that. There would be a chef to grill the hamburgers, a taco bar, pizza, a soft ice cream machine and a desert bar with assorted pies and cakes. "How does that sound?" she asked.

"Sounds great Mom."

Suzanne could tell by his response that his mind was elsewhere. Then she had an idea. "Are you very interested in this movie," she asked.

"Not really."

"Okay good. I'll be right back," she said as she headed upstairs. She returned a few moments later with several video tapes in her hand. "This might be a real good night to watch some family movies."

She popped a tape in and Rory's dad appeared on the screen holding up a fish. The boy remembered the fishing trip clearly. He had gotten seasick and was ready to go home when the fish started biting. He hooked some fish that were too heavy for him to reel in and his dad had to help him. It was a good day. There were also scenes of them kicking a soccer ball around in the park and washing the car together. It was great to remember these times. When the tape ended his mom asked, "Do you want to watch another?"

"Maybe in a minute. Do you think Dad would be proud of me?"

Suzanne moved closer to her son and put her arm around him. "Honey, he would be very proud of you."

"I mean about tomorrow. Do you think he'd want me to be in the Choosing?"

"Yes I do. He was a member of the Mackey Brotherhood and I think he would be very proud of you for following in his footsteps."

"That's what I thought too," said Rory with a smile. "Let's watch another tape."

Later that night before bed Rory got his nerve up to mention the enema he'd heard about earlier. Much to his relief his mom had been filled in on the procedure by Scooter's mom and she had everything she needed. He wasn't crazy about the idea but he wanted to do this correctly.

The Tucker House

Kelly was sitting on the bed next to Ethan. Like most of the big brothers in the area he wanted to let his little brother know he was there for him the night before the Choosing.

"I think the most important thing to remember is to keep your head down and don't talk unless somebody talks to you. I know you feel like Sandy Jacobs is your friend but if you break the rules he will give you a checkmark. He has to."

"Yeah, I know. I'm not really worried about that. I just don't want to get fucked."

"Well, if it happens there's nothing you can do about it."

"I know. That's the worst part."

"Just relax. Whatever happens you have to relax. It's not the end of the world. Besides, I haven't heard a lot of guys talking about voting for you. I have heard your friend Rory might be in trouble though."

"We all heard the story Shawn and his buddies are spreading around, but Chase told us not to worry about it."

"I hope he's right," said Kelly doubtfully.

Just then Malcolm knocked on the door and walked in. "I'm just checking to see if everything's okay here with my little brother."

Ethan liked it when Malcolm called him that. It made him feel special. "Yes, I'm fine and I'm ready for tomorrow. Why don't you come in and sit with us?"

Malcolm accepted the invitation and sat down on the bed with them.

"Where have you been all day?" Kelly asked.

"I was taking pictures with Tripp most of the afternoon and then I made dinner for my Dad. He's been working late a lot so I thought I'd help out."

"You're still hanging out with Tripp, huh?"

"He's not a bad guy and he's a really good photographer. I'm learning a lot from him. You should give him a second chance Kelly."

"Sorry Malcolm. I just don't trust that kid."

Just then the conversation was interrupted by Ashton bursting into the room. "Hi Malcolm. I thought I heard your voice," he said as he climbed onto the now crowded bed.

"Are you coming tomorrow?" Ethan asked Ashton.

"Yes. Kelly's bringing me so I can get my minus points for next year and I want to be there in case you need me."

"Thanks Ashton. It's important to me."

"You should know I'd be there for my big brother," the younger boy said proudly sticking out his chest.

"And you should know you'll get tickled for being a smart ass," said Malcolm as he fell upon Ashton and started tickling him as the younger boy squealed with delight.

The four of them spent the evening talking and reminiscing. Getting ready to go through his Choosing marked a very real passage for Ethan and he knew it. He felt very lucky to have such good brothers and friends here with him.

The Sanders House

Joey knew his older brother Shawn was in trouble for something by the way things went at the dinner table. His dad kept staring at the boy with that look that told you he was really pissed off and Shawn just kept his head down. Joey didn't really care though because he was more worried about himself. Tomorrow was the Choosing and that was all he could think about.

Shawn went to his bedroom right after dinner and Joey sat with his dad on the porch. His father told him he was proud of him and reminded him that he was representing the family so he needed to behave himself tomorrow. He also told him he loved him. His dad's little speech actually made him feel good.

Up in his room Shawn was laying on his bed thinking about what was waiting for him tomorrow. He felt an overpowering urge to jerk off so he got up and locked his door. Standing there for a moment he turned till his back was against the wall and slowly slid down until he was sitting on the floor. He couldn't believe what he had done to himself. Then he cried.

The Carrigan House

Andrew had been trying to avoid his Dad all night. He sat silently at dinner and didn't make eye contact with anyone. He wondered if his older brother knew. He was ashamed of himself. When the meal was over he helped to clear the table and then went to his room. He had only been there five minutes when there was a knock on the door. It was his dad.

"May I come in?" Jim Carrigan asked his son.

"Yes."

The man entered the bedroom and sat down on the bed next to the boy's feet. Andrew looked at his father and was surprised that he didn't see anger in his face.

"You really messed up this time son."

"I know. I was really stupid and I'm sorry."

"Tomorrow is gonna be a tough day. Are you ready for it?"

"As ready as I can be. I don't really have a choice."

"No, you don't. Whenever you do something wrong you're gonna pay for it one way or another. I'm sorry that you're going to learn that the hard way."

Andrew sat up and moved next to his dad. He was near tears. "I'm sorry I let you down Dad," he managed to say.

"I am disappointed, but I still love you very much. I needed to tell you that. Tomorrow when you feel like everyone's against you, just remember I'll always be on your side. What's done is done and you can't change it so take your punishment and learn from it. That's all you can do."

Andrew broke down crying and hugged his dad. He felt better knowing the man didn't hate him. That would help him to get through his ordeal tomorrow.

The Jacobs House

Chase was surprised and happy to discover Stevie was home. All his friends had to be in early and he didn't want to be alone.

"Hi little brother. I was just going to come out looking for you," said Stevie as Chase walked into the bedroom.

"What do you need?" asked Chase.

"Nothing. I was just wondering where you were. Mom said dinner will be ready in an hour. She's making fried chicken."

"Cool. I love her fried chicken."

"That's why she's making it. You're kind of the guest of honor tonight."

"Yeah, I guess. I'd be happy to get out of it if I could."

"Are you doing okay?" asked Stevie seriously.

"Yeah. I'm kind of nervous but I'll be alright." He usually never kept secrets from Stevie but he didn't want to tell him he was going to surrender tomorrow. He knew his brother would try to talk him out of it and he didn't want to deal with that. He made a deal and he was going to stick to it.

"I remember the night before my Choosing. I don't think I slept more than 20 minutes."

"The waiting part is awful. I wish it would just get here."

"Don't worry, it'll be here soon enough."

The two boys talked for an hour or more and Chase really enjoyed the time with his brother. They talked about everything under the sun. They heard Sandy and Brad get home and just a few minutes later their Mom called them to come and eat. It was an awesome meal in Chase's opinion. In addition to his favorite fried chicken they had mashed potatoes, baked beans, and cole slaw. For dessert there was cherry pie with vanilla ice cream. Chase was happy that no one brought up the Choosing during the meal. First, because his mom and dad were there, but also he didn't like keeping his secret plans from them all.

After dinner Stevie suggested they go back upstairs and Brad asked if he could join them. Sandy wanted to talk to his dad but said he'd be along shortly.

They all plopped down on the bed with Chase in the middle and a brother on each side.

"Are you excited about getting your Mackey privileges?" Brad asked Chase.

"You bet I am," the younger boy replied. He knew he had to sound excited even though he was going to bottom himself.

"Hey, did you call Gordon back?" Stevie asked.

"Oh shit, I mean shoot. I forgot. I'll see him tomorrow," answered Chase. He was pretty sure Gordon just wanted to remind him of his promise and he fully intended to keep it.

"Make sure you do. He said it was important and he's going to think I didn't give you the message," scolded Stevie.

"I will. I promise."

Stevie then looked over to Brad and asked, "What do you remember most about your Choosing?"

"I just remember being scared shitless. I hated every minute of it. I will admit though, once you get there and it starts things go pretty quick. I was ready to panic a couple of times and I just kept praying I wouldn't get bottomed."

"I kind of liked all the naked boys around me," said Stevie with a giggle. "I was praying my boner would go down and I wouldn't shoot a load right there on the stage."

Both of his brothers laughed out loud at his comment.

"You are too much Stevie," said Brad regaining his composure. "How about you Chase. What are you praying for?"

"I'm praying for rain. Long, hard all day rain with thunder and lightning so they cancel the damn thing."

All three boys were laughing loudly as Sandy entered the room.

"Geez. It sounds like I'm missing out on a lot of fun."

"You are," Brad managed to spit out between giggles. "I'm learning that both our little brothers are crazy."

"Well I'm sorry to interrupt, but I wanted to tell Chase a couple of things."

"Do you want us to leave?" Stevie asked.

"No, this is all good stuff. First off, I already told you that Rory has been cleared of all the claims Shawn and his friends were spreading around. Jason is going to make a big announcement at the beginning of things tomorrow so everybody knows the truth. I think that will keep a lot of votes off him. I also called Kevin and told him. He was a little nervous about sponsoring him when the story first came up but he's back on board now, I don't think you could have picked a better guy to be his sponsor Chase. Kevin will make sure that the voters know the truth."

"Cool. Rory is a really good guy and he's my friend."

"Next let's talk about you," said Sandy as he pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket and looked at Chase. "You're starting off in great shape. You will have -11 points right from the start." He handed the paper to Chase who studied it for a moment and then started laughing.

"What's so funny?' asked Sandy.

"Only our big brother would make up a fancy chart like this," said Chase as he handed the paper to Stevie. "You could have just told me but you make up a list with all our names and the reasons for the points and everything. You're gonna be a business man or a politician someday."

Stevie joined in the teasing and pretty soon all four of them were laughing again.

"Okay, one last thing. The party at the Brewer's is growing. I think it was originally going to be just the 12-year-olds but since it's at Cal's place the bottoms wanted to come too and I said okay. I checked with Mrs. Hagen and she said the food wouldn't be a problem because Rory's mom already went crazy and ordered a ton of stuff. I can't be there because I have to go to Jason's party so I wanted to ask you guys to help out if you can."

"Sure. Mom's gonna be there and I'll tell her to let us know if she needs anything," answered Brad.

"Which reminds me, Mom said if anybody wants more there's pie and ice cream left."

"I could go for that," said Brad.

"Me too. Let's go," agreed Stevie.

"I'll be right there," called Chase. He wanted to talk to Sandy alone for a minute.

"Thanks Sandy. I really appreciate everything you did for Rory and for me."

"Don't worry about it. I gotta take care of my little brother. I think you'll be fine."

"I just want you to know that whatever happens tomorrow I really appreciate what you've done." Chase hated keeping his plans secret but he couldn't tell anybody who might try to talk him out of it. Especially Sandy.

The look on Chase's face and the sincerity in his voice made Sandy feel like the kind of big brother he wanted to be. It felt good. "Thanks little bro. Now let's go kill that pie."

Jared Tilton's House

Jared couldn't sleep. He lay in the dark thinking about tomorrow. Unlike most 12-year-olds in Indian Spring he wasn't dreading the dawn, he was looking forward to it. He had realized a couple of weeks back that he wanted to be a bottom. He wasn't an anal virgin but he wasn't greatly experienced either. He had given more blowjobs than he could count but had only been fucked 3 times and he decided he wanted more. He wasn't really openly gay but all his close friends knew. He was so good with his mouth however that nobody would tease him or out him for fear of losing the benefit of the best blowjob around.

While blowjobs were not one of the benefits bottoms usually provided Jared had decided his preferred customers would receive them when they wanted. He like sucking cocks. He was also imagining some of the boys he had always found attractive visiting if he was a bottom. He got himself so excited that he had to jerk off. After that he drifted off to sleep.

Koby Mackey's House

Koby was having trouble getting to sleep. It hadn't been a bad night. He did have to endure some teasing from his older brothers earlier but before bed they both wished him luck and promised he would get their protection votes. He kept telling himself that he had nothing to worry about. All the votes from his part of the woods were probably going on Ricky Mackey thanks to some campaigning by Adan Koch. Still, Koby was scared. He didn't want to be a bottom.

The Brewer House

Ben had been watching TV with his father until the man fell asleep on him. Jonathan Brewer had been working long hours since Cal's injury trying to get his business back on schedule. Ben understood but he didn't want to be alone so he went to his big brother's bedroom. He tapped on the door and peered in. Cal was awake reading and when he saw Ben's face he tapped the bed next to him and said, "Come on in."

Ben scurried over and hopped on the bed next to Cal.

"Getting nervous?"

"Yes. I'm scared."

"You don't have to be. I got you well protected. Your Choosing isn't going to be anything like mine."

"You're gonna be there aren't you?"

"Yes, I'm gonna be there. I'm gonna get there a little late so I don't have to deal with the crowds but I promise I'll be there."

"Good. I'll feel better with you there."

"You wanna sleep in here tonight?"

"Yes."

"Okay then get your clothes off and hop under the covers."

Ben didn't have to be told twice. He stripped to his underwear and climbed into the bed.

"Thanks Cal," Ben said as he snuggled up to his brother.

"It's okay. This is what big brothers are for."

Cal put his book down, turned off the lamp and put an arm over his little brother. They fell asleep together.
