Living along the coast often means the weather is unpredictable. One day it will be hot and sunny, and the next it will be raining. There are times when it can change in minutes.

Tanner (age 11) was enjoying the sunshine and walking along the sandy shoreline with his best friend, Marcus (age 10). They were typical boys on the beach; no shirts, just board shorts and flip flops. Having a carefree day in the sun, enjoying the summer day.

They saw dark clouds and lightning in the distance. If you've ever been at the beach during a lightning storm, you can smell the ozone and your hair stands up. Tanner's blond hair was standing straight up.

"Dude, your hair is standing straight up!" Marcus laughed.

"My skin is tingling. Can you smell the air? The storm is heading this way. We need to get to the restrooms. "

The boys ran to one of the public restroom blocks. They have a shower and changing area on each end and toilet stalls in between. There's no roof over the changing area, only a short overhang by the toilets. There's an outdoor shower for rinsing the sand off. They were away from the water, at least, and the rain had just begun to fall.

"Dang, it's getting really cold."

"Yeah, the wind is nasty."

Just then, the boys saw a bright flash and a deafening bang.

"Shit!" Tanner yelled. "The lightning just hit the outdoor shower and fried it. I felt my feet tingle. "

Marcus seemed stunned and wasn't moving. Tanner opened one of the doors to the restroom and dragged his friend in. He hoped Marcus hadn't been shocked.

"We need to get under the cover and out of the wind. We need our flip flops to insulate us from the water. The stall will stay dry; just don't touch the metal. "

The rain pounded, and the hail started pelting the tin roof. The toilets in these stalls are metal, like those you find in jails. Marcus wanted to sit down, but Tanner hugged his friend tight to keep him warm and steady him.

"I'm still cold." Marcus was shivering and shaking.

"Our shorts are soaked. Let's take them off. Hold me while I slip mine off. " Tanner dropped his shorts and carefully stepped out of them without touching the floor or metal. The storm was still raging. There was a bar on the wall, so he hung his shorts carefully on it without touching the metal.

"Your turn."

Marcus did the same with his. He immediately hugged Tanner for warmth. Both boys had seen each other naked before, they'd even touched each other's wieners when having sleepovers. They both enjoyed the embrace.

"I'm scared, Tanner."

"Don't be scared, I'll hold you and these stupid storms only last about an hour."

Both boys had boners even though the situation was scary. They stood facing each other, keeping warm for what seemed like an hour. The storm pounded them with hail and more lightning. They could see the flashes through the gap between the roof and the concrete blocks. The thunder indicated that the storm was moving away.

"Tanner?"

"Yes?"

"I really like this. I mean, I like holding you like this. "

"Me too. I can feel your woody poking me. "

Marcus leaned in and kissed Tanner on the lips, another first for the boys.

Tanner reached down and turned Marcus around. He placed his boner into Marcus' crack. Marcus jumped at first and then said, "That feels nice."

Tanner reached around Marcus and took hold of his boy's cock and stroked it. Marcus was getting into it and was humping Tanner's hand on one side and driving Tanner's spike into his butt. Tanner's dick hit Marcus's little star and broke through.

"Mmmph!" came from Marcus.

"Oh, wow!" Moaned Tanner.

"That feels so." Marcus said, and then both of them said "Good!" at the same time.

Marcus kept humping, driving Tanner deeper and closer to his climax. He really kept up the rhythm, and finally, as if on cue, both boys had their climax. There was a thunder clap at the exact moment. Marcus looked back. Tanner met his gaze, leaned in, and kissed his now-boyfriend."I love you, Marcus."

"I love you too, Tanner."

The boys stood like that with Tanner's arms around Marcus until it got sunny out. They kissed, hugged, and held each other.

They decided it was safe to leave, so they donned their shorts and left the room.

"Holy shit, look at the shower tower. It's melted into the ground. " Marcus pointed at the molten stainless steel.

"That was close. We're lucky that it didn't fry us too! "

The sun was out as if nothing had transpired. The only sign was the wet sand. The boys had the beach to themselves.

"Come on! Let's go to the pier. " Tanner said as he grabbed Marcus and started running to the water line. Marcus fell face-first into the wet sand.

Tanner leaned over and picked him up, brushing off the sticky sand. "Sorry, we can't run in these things." They slipped out of their flip flops and held them as they ran down to the waterline and turned to run along the shoreline to the pier.

There was nobody out, and they made it to the pier. They slipped on the flip flops to keep from burning their feet on the concrete as they walked onto the pier. At the end of the pier, the boys stopped at their favorite ice cream shop.

"One banana split please, with two cherries on top and two spoons!" Tanner placed the order. The boys got their treat and sat outside in the sun to enjoy their ice cream. They sat side by side, arms over each other's shoulders. They didn't need two spoons.

"I like sitting here looking out over the water. It's calming. That lightning was scary." Marcus stated.

"Yes, but I liked how we got through it. Here. " Tanner placed a cherry in Marcus' mouth and one in his own. Since I popped your cherry, here's a celebration. Next time you get mine!

They pulled the stems out, but Marcus had to use his non dominant hand, so he struggled. Tanner leaned in and took the stem in his teeth, kissing his boyfriend and pulling out the stem.

Marcus swiped his finger into the whipped cream, and placed it on Tanner's nose.

"Eww, get it off!"

Marcus leaned in and licked it off, then kissed Tanner.

The boys didn't care that they were in public; there weren't any people around except for the girl at the ice cream shop. They had fun with the banana split. When they got to the banana, the girl had placed it in without separating it, so it was a solid banana. Tanner picked it up and put one end in his mouth and moved toward Marcus. Marcus opened his mouth and the boys tried to eat the banana and meet in the middle. Most of the banana landed on the floor, but the boys got a good long kiss out of it. When it was gone, Tanner lifted the bowl up and pushed it in Marcus' face for him to lick out the chocolate.

"Mmm" was all that could be heard from behind the bowl. Tanner pulled the bowl back to see that chocolate was everywhere on Marcus. He had fun licking it all off. It was on his forehead, in his hair, and, of course, on his nose and chin.

They got up to leave and the girl behind the counter said, "Hey little cuties, I have something for you. You boys might have some fun with this." And she handed them a can of whipped cream.

The boys grinned ear to ear, looked each other in the eyes, grabbed each other by the hand, and ran to Tanner's house.

If you want more with Tanner and Marcus, let me know. This was intended to be a standalone short, but you never know, boys will be boys.
