With A Click Of A Mouse

Author's Note:

Guys, this is my first story, but it will not be a dry humping episode. Those kinds of activities will be in the story, but will be in later chapters.
You will first experience the characters and hopefully grow with them as the story continues. It's still early days for me in the story, and if feedback is positive I will continue the story.
I already have 3 chapters done, and hopefully if the feedback received is good, the story will continue. This is a test for myself, to see if I can run with the Big Dogs, but remember, I'm not a Seasoned Writer.
I guess you are only as good as the approval you receive from your audience. I've been inspired by one guy in particular to write this story and he know who he is. (Yeah Matt)
Please remember this is my first rodeo, so go easy on me, but all feedback is welcomed and appreciated.

Chapter 1

Ok, let's get the admin out of the way, my name is Lawrence and I'm 12 years old, but everyone calls me Law.
I'm of medium height for a 12 year old and I'm kind of built athletically, due to my training that I have to do, but that will follow later.
I have dirty blonde hair and beach blue eyes. My mom says my biggest attraction to my face is not my eyes which are perfect in every way I might add, but my dimples I have.

At school all the girls go gaga when I smile, however, I don't consider myself the next Mr Universe. Anyway, back to the Saga, hehehe. We live on Alpine Drive in Beverly Hills.
The place is too big for the 3 of us if you ask me, but I guess my dad has some kind of status thing he needs to live up to.

Let me pause a little bit on myself and tell you about my folks. My dad has a big software firm, I can say big because his firm rivals are Microsoft and Google. He's not a typical dad, we do plenty of things together and I've even went with him on a few trips overseas. Our relationship is special and we have no secrets from one another.
My mom on the other hand is one of those people who when you talk to, you would think that you've known her for ages.
She just has that thing about her that makes you feel comfortable when you around her. She treats all of my friends like grown-ups and I think that scored me some kudos with my mates.

I attend Fusion Academy, and yeah, while you may say that it is an Academic Campus with a one is to one ratio, I enjoy school. It's normally myself, the lecturer and a mentor. School is awesome, and unlike your typical preteen, I rather thrive in this environment, and it shows in my grades.
I've been fortunate enough not only to have learnt from my dad but contribute ideas to him as well. I think he does it just to humour me, because the people he has in the think tank at work, earns their dollars the hard way, but needless to say, I'm brilliant when it comes to computers.
Even the school has recognized this and gave me an exemption to this particular subject, because as they call it: "I'm A Subject Matter Expert".
But I do it to help the less fortunate, or should I say, the less informed.

The year started just like any other, with me excelling in all my classes with straight A's, up until I was called to the Dean's office; yeah we have a Dean and not a Principal, cool isn't it?
As I approached the door, I bumped into a boy; he was the same height as me, athletically built but has ash blond hair with green eyes. I found out later that his nickname was emerald because of his eyes.
We were introduced and I was asked to assist the mentor for his IT Class because he was failing miserably, and there's one thing you should know about our school. Parents do not take kindly to their kids failing.

It was decided that together with the Mentor and Lecturer I would assist him in boosting his grade.
I may have been deemed a subject matter expert (I love that phrase) but I still have plenty more to learn when it comes to software, hardware, programming and so forth. I'm just thankful that I paid attention, when my dad first introduced me to his business. Thanks dad and the people in the think tank!!

We bumped fists and I introduced myself as Law, for which I received a funny look, I explained that my name is Lawrence, but everyone calls me Law. His facial expressions softened and he said "I'm Kyle" we laughed and headed out to class to begin our first lesson.
We chatted all the way there, I learned that he was an only child as well and we lived on the same street, how do you like them apples?

His dad owns some big law firm who represents the rich and stuck up, while his mom is a Corporate Exec. As soon as we got to class, I realised why I was saddled with this brainless child. He was as dumb as a mule when it came to PC's, and that's no lie.
But as dumb as he was, he was also very determined to succeed, which I thought was cool, he struck me as a "Die Hard" and I admire people like that. You will find out later why.
When the first lesson ended, I congratulated him on a job well done. He seemed to have loved the praise, because he was grinning like a deer caught in the headlights.

School was out for the day, and while I was waiting for my dad to pick me up, I invited him over to my place for the rest of the afternoon, because I wanted to get to know him a little bit better.
But I still had practise as well, and yeah you heard right, practise.

Please do not think of me as a rich and spoiled brat, because I am very far from it. I'm a very friendly and down to earth person, with a sparkling personality and a fatal flaw to help others.
My parents are rich, but never started off that way, both of them worked hard for the things they have achieved and because they can afford it, they are giving me opportunities that they never had.
But enough of sounding like a grown up, let me tell you why I have practise.

My dad has this fixation with Michael Schumacher, the Formula 1 driver and he enrolled me into a Go-Kart Racing School since the age of 9.
I've competed in a few championships before and placed well in them, and my coach says when I'm older, I'll be able to move up the ladder so to speak, in the various formulas of racing.

As we were chatting along, I found out a great many things about Kyle, we had the same music interests, we both love action and horror movies and he also had a flare for the dramatic.
Once I told him that I had to practise a little bit later on and what kind of practise it was, he kept coming up with silly phrases.

  1. LAW AND DISORDER
  2. THE LAW OF SPEED
  3. TO PUNISH AND ENSLAVE
  4. LAW RIDER
  5. THE RICH AND UNLAWFULL
  6. LAW LESS

Was only but a few of the names I was called, and every time he called me a name, he cracked himself up, his laugh was so infectious, I just had to join in.
I appreciated his sense of humour and returned the favour with some banter of my own.

We were laughing uncontrollably when my dad pulled up in his 458 Italia, and again Kyle looked like a deer caught in the headlights.
I think this must be his signature look, and I let him know it to. I waved my hand in front of his face which brought him back down to reality. That's so cool, he said, and I could tell that he was impressed; I introduced him to my dad. Dad this Kyle, Kyle this is my dad Mr Black.
Good afternoon Mr Black, Kyle said. Kyle my father was Mr Black, please call me John, my dad told him.

So Law, you know we got to get back to the house, get you changed and out to the track, will Kyle be joining us?
Yes dad I replied, but can we please wait a few moments longer, because Kyle's dad will be fetching him as well. We live on the same street, so when we leave for the track , would it be possible for us to pick him up please?
Certainly, my dad replied. Just then Kyle's dad arrived in a neon green Porsche 911 GT3 RS and I guess it was my turn to be in awe of his dad's car.
I looked at him and simultaneously we said, STREET RACE, but our dads were more of the sensible one's I guess.
He introduced me to his dad and both our dads introduced themselves while we were once again chatting away.

Right come on boys, time to put the rubber on the tarmac my dad said. I bumped fists with Kyle and informed him that we will be picking him up in half an hour which caused a raised eyebrow from his dad.
Turning to his dad Kyle asked his father if it would be okay to spend the afternoon with me, as I would be going to the race track to practise, which caused another raised eyebrow.
Yeah little Law over here is going to be the next F1 champion, my dad said. It's fine by me, but just ring your mum to let her know where you will be, Kyle's dad replied.

See ya in a bit LAW - LESS Kyle said and with that, we both got into our respective modes of transport and headed off, with my dad leading the way.
He's a cool kid my dad said and popped in one of his Queen cd's in the stereo and that caused me to sing along with the first song that played.

With my dad looking at me like his seen a ghost I replied What? I made an awesome new friend today, school was well, school, the weekend is here and to top it off, I'm going to the track.
A beautiful start to what would surely be an eventful weekend.
My dad looking at me laughing said, you know Law, sometimes I forget you only just twelve. You Definitely One Of A Kind.
