This story is about a boy who is a hero back on earth. He lives on a space station called Stargazer it is 800 km away and the only way to visit earth is by the transporter. He finds boys he can help with food and pills that keep the disease of Complex at bay. His name is Yampi. He is 12 years old and has a family living on the space station.
The last chapter ended with:

Chapter 7 A long time awaiting

"My name is Jonas, I am the leader here and I sent the message to you." Jonas said as he walks Yampi to the main part of the base. A chain fence is surrounding the main building. A steel wall has been set up around the base but has been rusting away.

Jonas reported.
"Right then we have 100 robots that will keep us safe and some robots that will fix the walls so we can get you to our space station." Yampi replied. Jonas said he would use some of his boys to keep an eye on the infected men who have been using a chemical on the walls.
A few days later Yampi asked Jonas if there is any gold close by. Jonas knew that a place just a hundred feet away is filled with gold and you could build a city out of all the gold there. "We have to check this building and see what's there, so I will have 30 robot guards armed and ready to take action so we will be safe there." Yampi quoted.
Jonas was not ready to walk to the gold storage building but knew that Yampi was well armed, better than what they were. So Jonas said he would take Yampi and his crews as they were ready to take the gold back to the base.
"So this is the building then, it looks like a large bank.' Yampi announced as he and Colum entered the old gold storage building. The outer walls were damaged due to a direct hit from a bomb that was dropped from a war bird.
Inside was a bit of a problem for Yampi. Since the vault was made so that it was hard to enter the worker robots had to use bruit power and some skilled welding to open the huge doors. It was a long day gaining entry to the vault.
Robots were set up outside and inside the huge building and after removing some debris that was blocking the main entry Yampi then called for 200 extra robots to be beamed to the settings he sent to the captain. All the boys stood still seeing a huge amount of gold bars in the large vault.

"It will take us a few months to get all of this gold to our space station, even then we have to build extra rooms to store all this gold and we have to beam it to all the other space stations as well." Yampi remarked as he send photos of the gold to the captain shown him the amount of gold he found.
"Yampi you have found the building that held all of America's gold storage and that will keep us stocked with gold for over two hundred years." The captain gasped. Yampi could not think as he began to sort out how to beam all this gold back into space.
"It will take the robots over two months or so to get all this gold beamed and that means we will have to send crews here every week until all the gold is removed." Yampi told Colum. "Ok, we have to deal with the sickness first as some of these boys are not well." Colum responded.
In the main room of the base Taka and Tanaka are cooking a hot meal with the food they gathered from the pile of supplies that were beamed to the base. It sure was busy and some of the earth boys helped out with the cooking. The earth boys have been living off tinned food but that supply soon ended a few days ago.

It was a short walk to the vault and Colum sent the armed robots to start their mission to keep him safe and to check the area. It was two hours later when a few men entered the vault and began to fire their guns towards Colum and his small crew.

The captain arrived and said that Yampi is still needed back on earth and he should return. So after Yampi made sure that Colum is safe and well he heads back to Fort Worth base and continues to help the earth boys.
