Diego was still sleeping soundly, with his back pushed against Luke's chest. Luke reached out for his phone. 7:05am, good, still plenty of time. They've haven't overslept this time! Luke shook Diego's shoulder gently: "Diego, babe, wake up! We gotta get moving." Diego sat up, yawned and stretched out his arms. "We're not late again, are we?" he asked Luke with a sweet smile. "No," Luke grinned back, "but we still gotta hustle. Rafiq's leaving today. And I feel like I really need a good shower this time." Luke sniffed his arm and crinkled his nose slightly. "Oh, yeah," Diego giggled, "I didn't wanna say anything but I noticed it too ..." Luke made a pouty face: "So you think I stink now, eh?" "Come on, Luke, you know I love how you smell," Diego embraced Luke and kissed him on a cheek. "But I did notice during the night that we were both beginning to get kinda ripe ..." "Well, let's not sit here stinking up my bed," Luke declared, "let's go get clean!" He jumped up and run into the bathroom. Diego slowly rose and followed him. When he got inside, Luke was already naked and pulling back the shower curtain. "Well, somebody's in a hurry to get clean this morning," Diego joked, looking at Luke's tight smooth butt appreciatively. "Perhaps you want some help with that?" "Don't mind if I do," Luke giggled without turning as he stepped into the tub and turned on the water. "But talk's cheap, elf-boy, he-he! Come down here and show me that you mean it!" Luke turned around under the warm water towards Diego and looked at him seductively, with a bright grin. Diego saw that Luke's dick was already beginning to rise up to the occasion. Diego started frantically shacking off his clothes. A few seconds later he stepped under the running shower next to Luke. "Mmm, nice morning for it elf-boy, isn't it?" Luke mused as he pulled Diego towards him. Luke's long arm wrapped around Diego's slim waist and rested at the top of his small lean buttocks. Diego's body bent as the boy's pelvises mashed together. Luke's lips covered Diego's mouth. "Mmmm-mm," Luke breathed out, finally releasing Diego and staring in his wide open brown eyes with a playful twinkle in his own green ones. "You taste particularly sweet this fine morning, elf-kid!" Luke's dick twitched noticeably, and Diego giggled. "Glad you think so," Diego noted with a wicked grin growing on his face. "But that doesn't get you off the hook yet! We still need to get you clean." Luke grinned back in consent, waiting. Diego grabbed the washcloth, poured some soap on it and started vigorously soaping up Luke's chest and shoulders. "Oh, that feels nice," Luke sighed as he stood under the hot water, enjoying Diego's energetic attention. "Yeah, like I said, you were beginning to smell a little ripe," Diego stated matter-of-factly, "we really need to get you washed properly." "Go ahead, Diego, wash away," Luke obediently raised his arms. Diego was nonplussed: "Yeah, somebody definitely's been skipping on proper hygiene. We've gotta take care of that." Diego rubbed Luke's sensitive armpits and lean flanks. "U-u-u, that tickles," Luke wriggled his body, but did not move away. "There, I think that's better," Diego gave Luke's armpit a long hard lick. "That feels clean to me now." Luke giggled manically. "Now let's see ...," Diego leaned down and run his soapy hand around Luke's taut stomach, feeling the muscle ridges under the silky fresh tender skin. Luke cooed appreciatively. "I think we're good here," Diego continued as he crouched over and stared at Luke's exposed genitals. Luke had already plumped up and his boyish member was happily semi-erect under the flower of warm water. Diego poured more soap onto his hands. "Now, this bit here is gonna take some extra bit of work," he smirked wickedly. Careful not to apply too much pressure and not to grab too tightly, Diego proceeded to purposefully soap Luke's dick and balls with both hands, kneading and tugging them without mercy. "Ah-ah-ah," Luke whimpered as his pelvis gyrated, "Diego, babe, you gotta watch it, you are handling real sensitive equipment down there ..." Diego ignored Luke's warnings and continued to vigorously work Luke's now fully hard member, while cupping and massaging Luke's heavy pink testicles with his other hand. Luke frantically tried to trust more of his hardness into Diego's hands. "Come on Luke, stop fidgeting, I'm trying to wash you," Diego admonished him, without stopping. "Ah, Diego, I donno if you realize what your cleaning is doing to me, man ..," Luke protested. "If you don't keep quiet, you're never gonna get clean," Diego countered, grabbing Luke's balls harder and pulling them down. "Ah!" Luke tensed and stood up on his tippy toes. Diego's two fingers held Luke's stalk near the head tightly, just below the crown and squeezed, pulling the foreskin back. "Argh-h!" Luke tensed even more and rose higher. Diego's right hand darted between Luke's legs and his index finger went straight up, landing right on Luke's tender rosebud. "Oh, god, Diego, I ...," Luke started saying but he could not finish. Diego's finger continued its movement upward and invaded Luke's forbidden love canal. At the same time Diego leaned forward and closed his lips around the glistening exposed head of Luke's penis. "A-a-a-a-a-a-a-h!" Luke screamed and his body went rigid and then convulsed. Diego opened his mouth, stuck his tongue out and moved his face off, waiting to receive the gift of Luke's passion. Luke's dick twitched wildly and suddenly Diego was hit with two volleys of hot lava right in the nose. He snorted and coughed, laughing. "Ah, ah, ah, ah" Luke whimpered as his legs buckled and he slowly collapsed on the bottom of the tub. Diego, still in the crouched position, embraced him gently. Luke lifted his face. "You're one vicious little dude, Diego, he-he!" Luke held on to Diego's shoulders and slowly rose up. "Turnabout is fair play," Diego whispered. "But you missed. Your aim needs improving." "Ah, I wasn't aiming," Luke chuckled. He wrapped his hands around Diego's neck and pressed their bodies close under warm water. "Mmm, at least you're now clean," Diego remarked as they kissed softly. "Yeah, I guess I am," Luke giggled as his dick twitched again against Diego's slim naked body. "I'm not sure what just happened here ..." "I think you've just delivered on your promise of a super-sexy morning shower, he-he!" Diego's eyes twinkled. "Yeah, but it was supposed to be super hot and sexy for you, Diego!" Luke hugged Diego tighter and lifted him off the bottom of the tub. "Oh, it was, Luke, it was," Diego replied, smiling. "Now, put me down." Luke complied silently. "Hey, Diego, do you want me to ... do you now?" he inquired huskily. "No, thanks, Luke, I'm good," Diego declined with a laugh. "Maybe later tonight. Or tomorrow morning." "Mmm, spoilsport," Luke complained, letting Diego go. He looked down at Diego's exposed crotch. "Man, it's not fair!" Luke pouted, "I really wanted to get some of that!" Diego laughed louder. Luke reached down and gave Diego's slender dark brown penis a gentle pull: "Well, buddy, I guess I'll see you later tonight." Luke sighed and let Diego's member go. Diego smiled at him sweetly: "Come on, Luke, we don't wanna be late for breakfast again." "Man, you ARE one vicious little dude, Diego," Luke laughed again. Luke suddenly lunged at Diego and grabbed him under the arms, caressing Diego's shoulder blades and pressing their bodies tightly together. "Luke!" Diego protested with a laugh. "I'm gonna get you for this, elf-boy," Luke whispered in Diego's ear, "I'm gonna get you for this, I promise!" The boys separated and Luke turned off the water. Diego smiled at him with with satisfaction and stepped out of the shower. Luke groaned and followed him. As the boys were drying themselves off, Luke's eyes twinkled gently. "Ya know, Diego, I could swear you've put on a couple of pounds since you got here, dude. I like it! More of you for me to hold on to!" Diego laughed and hit Luke with a towel: "Maybe you're right, I donno. I guess I'm getting fat happy, he-he. Probably need to start exercising more." "Nah, I'm sure it's all muscle, all in the right places for me to enjoy!" Luke countered. "But you know what, this dispute really needs experimental ... arbitration. We're gonna do that later." Diego slapped Luke with a towel again. "Dude, you've gotta be more enthusiastic about science!" Luke exclaimed with a laugh as he tried to evade the blow. They continued to dry off, smiling at each other happily. As the boys were getting dressed, back in their bedroom, Diego asked Luke quietly: "You've got that going away gift you were making for Rafiq?" "Yeah, I've got it, right here," Luke extended his opened palm with an object in it towards Diego. "Think he'll like it?" "He'll love it," Diego assured Luke. He embraced Luke and gave him a tender kiss on the lips. "I love it. It so ... you." "Yeah," Luke sighed. He put the object in the pocket of his shorts. "Should we get going?" Diego nodded and the boys headed out. When they got to the clubhouse, they saw that Frank and Wade were already there, sitting in the common room area. Gregg, Rafiq's favorite counsellor at Green Oaks, was also there. Diego and Luke exchanged silent nods with Wade. He gave them a bit of his impenetrable sphinx smile and then suddenly winked at them. Diego felt his face flush with heat. "Luke, use your demigod powers, quick!" Diego whispered to Luke urgently. "Mr Wade is doing that thing again when he's seeing right through me." Luke squeezed Diego's hand reassuringly and grinned back at Wade with confidence. He pulled Diego towards the breakfast table. "Relax, Diego, we're fine," Luke whispered, "it's all good." They saw that Rafael, Ritchie, Devon and Danny were already there. Luke and Diego joined them at the table. Everybody looked around, waiting for Rafiq. A few minutes later the door opened and Rafiq and Toby walked in. Toby's eyes were puffed up red. It was clear that he had been crying. The boys hushed up as Rafiq and Toby approached the table. "My last breakfast at Green Oaks," Rafiq said with a small smile. "I hope it's good." Luke stood up and grabbed Rafiq in a huge bear hug: "It will be, Rafiq, buddy, it will be!" Rafiq and Toby sat down and the kids started chatting. A few minutes later Margie came in carrying the food, with Frank helping her. The food was indeed good, as Margie tried to make Rafiq's last breakfast really special. There were banana strawberry pancakes, a western omelette, a large plate of cold cuts, an assortment of fresh fruit and berries, and freshly baked chocolate chip muffins. "Ms Margie," Luke commented appreciatively, "thank you for this feast! I think Rafiq is not gonna need to eat for a couple of days after this, and the rest of us, we can probably skip lunch and dinner today, he-he!" "Thank you, Luke, sweetie," Margies patted Luke's head. "I appreciate the compliment. But I know you too well, honey. You'll be hungry again by lunchtime, I'd wager." Luke looked down at his stomach. "Yeah, you might be right, Ms Margie. I've no idea where it all goes ..." "Oh, Luke, I can explain exactly where the stuff you eat goes," Ritchie interjected with a wicked smirk. "And how it smells when it comes ..." "Ritchie, you little turd, I swear, I'll ...," Luke glared at Ritchie. "Boys, boys, be nice!" Margie admonished. "Remember, it's Rafiq's last day with us. Let's not spoil it by fighting." Luke and Ritchie both looked at Rafiq guiltily. Rafiq, who was sitting between Luke and Diego, was poking his omelette slowly with a fork. Luke wrapped his arm around Rafiq's shoulder. "Come on, buddy, eat up," Luke encouraged. "This stuff is really great! And you need to make a few more good memories here before you go." "Thanks, Luke," Rafiq lifted his face, "It's good food but I feel sad today. I leave you, and Diego and Toby ..." "I know, buddy, I know," Luke squeezed Rafiq's shoulder. "We're gonna miss you around here, aren't we, Diego?" "Of course, we will," Diego agreed softly. He took Rafiq's forearm into his hand gently. "But Luke still's got a surprise for you, Rafiq. He'll give it to you later." "A present?" Rafiq's eyes lit up. "Yeah," Diego confirmed, "a present. So eat up, if you wanna get it, he-he." Luke and Diego exchanged knowing smiles and Rafiq attacked his omelette enthusiastically. When the meal was over, everybody filed outside, following Wade and Frank to the street, to the main entrance to Green Oaks. Wade's large grey car was parked at the end of the curve. All the boys huddled up front with Rafiq. Frank, Margie and Gregg stood further back. Wade was already waiting by his car. "Man, even their cars are grey," Luke remarked mentally. "These guys really gotta work on their color palette!" He turned to Rafiq: "Your stuff's already in there, buddy?" Rafiq nodded silently. Diego put his hand on Raffiq's shoulder and looked up at Luke. "Well, Rafiq, now I've got something for you," Luke said with a gentle smile. "Yes, Luke?" Rafiq raised his glance. "It's something I made a few days ago. At the pottering workshop. Kind of a going away present," Luke reached into his pocket and handed Rafiq a small clay figurine. Two boys, their two hands joined, and their other two hands raised up. The lines were clean, sure, smooth. The boys' facial features were stylized but clearly visible. "Wow," Rafiq uttered, "thanks, Luke! Who is it?" "I donno, Rafiq, buddy," Luke replied. "Who do you want it to be? Maybe it's you and me. Or maybe you and Diego. You figure it out!" "Wow," Rafiq repeated as he turned the clay figure in his hands carefully. "Thank you, Luke! Really, thank you, thanks a lot!" Rafiq put the figurine in his pocket and stepped towards Luke. Luke opened his arms and took Rafiq in a huge hug. "I'm gonna miss you, Rafiq, buddy," Luke whispered, "I'm gonna miss you a lot! Have a great life there in Arizona. Don't forget us!" "Can't forget you now," Rafiq smiled back, "I have your present." He turned to Diego. Diego, whose eyes were already heavy with moisture, leaned down and gave Rafiq a warm hug: "Bye, Rafiq. Say hi to your new family from us." Rafiq nodded silently. Ritchie, who was standing next to Diego, ruffled Rafiq's hair: "Bye, squirt. Don't get too soft out there, okay?" Rafael patted Rafiq's shoulder wordlessly. Rafiq waved at Toby, Devon and Danny who were standing behind Rafael. Toby was crying. "Rafiq, buddy, we'd better get moving," Wade called from the car. Rafiq sighed slightly turned around and started walking towards Wade. The boys watched in silence. "What's the matter, Ritchie, you got something in your eye?" Luke asked as Ritchie, who was standing next to him, rubbed his eyes with his elbow. "Nah, doing a bit of crying," Ritchie admitted, "I'm really gonna miss Rafiq. It'll suck here without the little guy." "Yeah," Luke sighed as he hugged Ritchie's shoulder. Diego, although his heart ached as he saw Rafiq walk away towards the car with Wade, smiled as he looked at Luke and Ritchie. "Ah, damn it, now I really did get something in my eye!" Ritchie exclaimed, rubbing his eye vigorously. The three of them laughed. At that moment they saw Rafiq reach Wade's car. Wade opened the door and Rafiq turned around and waved back at the boys: "Bye, guys! Come visit me in Arizona!" He got into the car, followed by Wade. "Bye Rafiq, bye, buddy!!" the kids shouted back. The car drove off. Ritchie turned around and went back towards the clubhouse gloomily. Frank walked by from behind and put a hand on Luke's shoulder: "Luke, it was a real nice parting present you made for Rafiq. Thank you." Luke sighed. "You think he'll be happy there in Arizona, Mr Frank? Rafiq's new family, you think they'll really love him?" Luke and Diego both looked up at Frank. "Yes, I think so, Luke," Frank replied pensively. "I really do. I think that was Rafiq's chance. I'm glad he got it." Luke and Diego looked at each other. "You boys look like you've got a question to ask," Frank remarked. "Do you think we'll ever get our chance, Mr Frank?" Luke asked earnestly. "Diego and me? To get adopted? To get a family? Or have we run out of chances already?" Diego quietly stood next to Luke and held Luke's hand. Frank sighed and scratched his head. "I gotta be honest with you, Luke, I don't know. This is a tough one. I don't wanna lie to you, boys," Frank sighed again. "Luke, you know how tough it is to adopt out older kids. But, I like to think that there's always hope ... And you two are terrific boys! ... So yeah, I think there's still a chance." Frank smiled at the boys warmly. Diego gave Luke a quick peck on the cheek and Luke blushed slightly. Luke looked up at Frank again. "Something else on your mind, son?" Frank inquired. "Mr Frank, you mentioned the other day that there'd be a new kid coming here," Luke replied. "What was his name, Diego? ..." "Yasha," Diego answered. "Ah, yes, Yasha," Frank confirmed. He regarded Luke and Diego seriously. "As a matter of fact, he's coming the day after tomorrow. Come on boys, we'll talk in my office." Diego and Luke followed Frank into his office. He settled behind his desk and the boys sat in two big chairs facing him. Frank poured some water in his glass and scratched his chin as he looked at Diego and Luke wistfully. He slowly sipped some water and began: "Diego, Luke, what I'm about to tell you is real serious stuff, not kid stuff. You think you can handle it? You think you can be grown ups about this one?" "Mmm, Mr Frank, if there's a kid in trouble and if you think we can help, then yeah, sure, we can handle it, right, Diego?" Luke replied earnestly. "Yes, of course, Mr Frank, you can trust us," Diego assured. "Well, okay then," Frank chuckled lightly. "See, the new kid, Yasha, he is 8, like Rafiq was, but sorta going on 16. A bit of a chess genius, they tell me." Frank sighed. "Yeah, a real genius, but with a real sad story." Frank threw Diego a penetrating glance. Diego fidgeted slightly. "His mom and dad are both originally from Lithuania, that's in the former Soviet Union," Frank continued. "Yeah, that by the Baltic Sea, right?" Diego interrupted. "Exactly," Frank confirmed. "I see somebody's been studying his geography, that's good." Luke rolled his eyes silently. "Anyways," Frank carried on, "Yasha's parents, they are both some kind of big time scientists. Got married late in life, very much in love. Had Yasha even later. I think he was a surprise, they didn't expect it. Both were well over 50 when that happened." Frank paused and sighed. "And then some other kind of a surprise occurred. His mom, she met someone else. At work, I think. A mutual friend." "That bitch!" Luke exclaimed. "Luke, language, please!" Frank admonished. "Sorry, Mr Frank," Luke apologized, "but what I said, it's true." Luke looked down. Frank shook his head and cleared his throat: "Well, we can discuss the morality of it some other time. The point is, she wanted a divorce. Wanted to take Yasha with her too. Yasha's dad didn't take it too well. Long story short, one sad day, he got a gun and shot them both to death, Yasha's mom and her friend. And then killed himself as well." "Oh, my god, that's horrible, Mr Frank," Diego exclaimed. "Poor Yasha!" "Yes, indeed," Frank agreed. "Yasha, he was at school then but he found them later as he got back. So now he's basically all alone in the world." Diego and Luke exchanged knowing glances. "He has no other family left?" Diego asked quietly. "I think there's still a grandma back in Lithuania in a nursing home, she's over 90. Can't take care of him," Frank explained. "So he's coming here. The boy hasn't said much since it happened. Wasn't much of a talker even before that." Frank stopped and sipped more water from his glass. He gave Diego and Luke another careful look over. "So, Diego, Luke, I could really use your help with him, boys," Frank continued. "To help bring him out of his shell. Kinda what you did for Diego, Luke. Do you think you can do that, boys? Do you think you can help him?" "Of course we'll help him, Mr Frank," this time Diego answered first. "I think you knew that already." Frank nodded his head and smiled warmly. "Yeah, Mr Frank, this kid Yasha, his shell is gonna be gone before you know it," Luke enthused. "I'm gonna hug him to death, and Diego, he'll probably sing him a few of those time freezing songs. And maybe they'll do some geniusy stuff together. It's gonna be all good." Diego elbowed Luke a little. "Well, it sounds like you've got it all figured out already," Frank smiled. "Diego, Luke, thank you, boys, really, thank you." Frank nodded at them again. Luke stated to get up but Diego remain seated. "Something else on your mind, Diego?" Frank inquired. "Umm, Mr Frank," Diego hesitated, looking at Luke uncertainly, "actually, there's something else that Luke and I wanted to talk you you about ... About something that happened a while back ...." "Oh?" Frank replied in surprise. Luke suddenly looked up sharply and grabbed Diego's hand: "Ah, Mr Frank, actually, this other thing, we're gonna talk to you about it later, okay?" Luke got up and pulled Diego away urgently. "Wait, Luke ...," Diego protested. "Diego, not now!" Luke whispered, dragging Diego away harder. Frank observed the scene with bemusement. "Well, if you change your mind, my door is always open!" he called as the boys exited his office. "Luke, wait," Diego called as Luke rush forward, downhill, along the footpath, "wait ..." Luke didn't turn but continued to run. Diego finally caught up with him and grabbed Luke's hand: "Wait ..." Luke finally stopped, breathing hard. "Luke, what's wrong?" Diego asked gently. "Why did you leave?" He took Luke by the shoulders and slowly turned him around. Luke was still looking down. "Luke, what happened?" Diego repeated. "I thought we talked about this. I thought we agreed. We shook on it, remember? You'd tell Mr Frank what happened. With you and Brother Peter." "I'm sorry, Diego," Luke finally spoke, still looking down. "I know I promised. And I'll do it. But I just wasn't ready. I'm still not ready, babe." Luke slowly raised his head and looked up at Diego guiltily. "Why?" Diego asked softly. "Can you tell me, please?" Diego looked Luke in the eyes earnestly and reached out, touching Luke's cheek with his palm. Luke sighed deeply: "Well, it's just ... whenever I start thinking about it, about that basement, that fucking boiler room again ..." He shook his head as if in disbelief. "See, before, I think I was just really scared, but now ... Now every time I think 'bout it again, I just get so fucking angry ... Like I really wanna hit something, punch someone! I really hate feeling like that ..." Tears welled up in Luke's eyes as he continued: "Diego, babe, you gotta help me not to be like that ... I'm just afraid I'm gonna fucking lose it ..." Diego pulled Luke in a warm embrace and held him gently, stroking his back. "I'm sorry Luke ... Of course I don't want you to feel like that either ... We'll figure something out, I promise ... I'll help you. We ... I will find a way to help you, somehow ..." Diego held Luke for a while longer. "Hey, I've got an idea," Diego whispered, "how about some sex therapy?" "Oh, god, Diego, I love it when you think dirty," Luke chuckled, pulling Diego closer. "Yeah, that does sound awfully fun and relaxing ... but I'm not sure it's gonna be enough in this case ..." "Still, it's a start," Diego giggled, "maybe it'll teach your mind to focus on something really nice ... like me, he-he ... even when you're thinking of something not so nice ..." "You know, babe, you're gonna make me into a fucking sex addict," Luke joked as his hands travelled towards Diego's butt. "As if I wasn't bad enough already ... But maybe we could also try that with other things, like pottering and horse riding -- the way it worked with you and the music ..." "See, you sorta almost worked it out already!" Diego exclaimed as he kissed Luke's lips softly. "It sounds like a good plan." "Yeah, it sure does, doesn't it?" Luke mused, returning Diego's kiss. "But hey, I'm still gonna need lotsa help from a certain sexy skinny brown-eyed elf-boy with that ..." "I think he might be available," Diego giggled, "... but maybe we should try your idea first? Like the workshop?" "Yeah, sure, the workshop," Luke agreed, smiling. He hugged Diego and lifted him off the ground. "Some woodworking therapy, that sounds like fun!" "Woodworking, yeah ... I like it what you talk dirty!" Diego giggled. "Oh, you!" Luke squeezed Diego tighter and lifted him higher. "Okay, okay, I give!" Diego laughed and wriggled his body, struggling to break free. "Now, put me down, you big green-eyed brute! Woodworking it is!" Luke complied and they resumed walking downhill. "You know, Diego," Luke mused impishly, "I'm just getting some ideas 'about what to try to make ... out of wood in the workshop when we get there ... Perhaps a certain object I saw in the shower this morning, he-he." "Luke, you wouldn't dare!" Diego elbowed him with a laugh. "Oh, I donno," Luke chuckled and punched Diegos' shoulder, "I suddenly feel a daring streak coming ... And the image's still real fresh in my memory." Luke grinned at Diego gleefully and his teeth sparkled brightly. Diego shook his head bemusedly, but he was glad to see Luke so happy again. The boys approached the barnyard and Amber run to greet them, as usual. *********************************
