Date: Sat, 15 Sep 2007 19:16:20 EDT From: GrreenPanda@aol.com Subject: Suspicion Of Love 3 This is a work of fiction involving explicit sex between two women. If this type of thing offends you, or if you are under 18, or if reading this breaks any law where you are...DO NOT PROCEED!! "Yeah just like that," I had my arms around her trying to show her how to hold a softball bat. "Alexandra, you have got to stop breathing in my ear like that...I can't concentrate," Kelly said. "Ok I will step back so you can try to swing it." I stepped back and nodded to her to try. The bat came around but it wasn't hard enough to hit anything. "You have to swing it harder than that." "Alex, I am just not made to play," she whined. "Let's just play catch. I know I can do that." She dropped the bat and picked up a glove. I backed up a little further and we started to throw the ball back and forth. "What did you do in high school? Were you involved with anything," I asked as I threw the ball to her. "I ran track and was on the swim team and studied a lot, I was more interested in learning. You know, a bookworm." "I can't picture you with your nose in the books all the time." "I was a nerd and my parents were real strict, I couldn't do much." "You were not a nerd," I said as we continued to throw the ball back and forth. "Yeah, I was. In tenth grade my parents bought me a laptop computer. It was the best thing in the world. It was about the same time that I noticed that I like watching the girls getting showers in gym more and more. I didn't really have anyone to talk to besides teachers. So I started looking around online and found some things out. I found this story site and I was hooked." "I knew in 9th grade. I was on the softball team and we were away somewhere. I saw two women kissing and was curious. I came home and looked it up just like you did. I would get so wet looking at pictures of girls. I went to my mom. I was so glad that she was cool with it. She said she figured as much because I was into all the sports and would tell all the boys no." "I didn't tell my parents until I was away at college. I knew they wouldn't understand, and they still don't. To them it's always been a 'phase' that I'm going through." "Mine never thought that, thank god." "Hey, I am getting thirsty...do we have something with us," Kelly asked as she started walking towards me. "Of course, it's game night." I waited for her to get to me before starting towards the dugout. I put my arm around her waist. When we got to the bench my brother Kyle was there. "Kelly, you going to join the team," he asked. "Not hardly, I can barely catch the ball that Alex is throwing at me much less one that might be hit toward me," Kelly said laughing. "Nothing to be scared of. It only hurts for a little while when you get hit," Kyle said. "I will just stick to playing catch for now." This caused everyone to laugh. We all sat around talking for a few minutes before the game started. Kelly was fitting in really well. My brothers were trying to give her a hard time but she would take it and then give it back. We were in the field first. Kelly said that she was going to sit in the bleachers. "You can stay in here if you want," I said before she left. "Nah, I will go sit out there, I don't want to be a distraction." "You are already a distraction." I said as I put my arms around her waist. "Well then maybe I should stop coming to the games," she said with a grin. We both knew that she wouldn't stop. She enjoyed being a distraction. I gave her a quick kiss before letting her go. The whole game I knew that she was there but I was doing a really good job of not being too distracted. I couldn't wait to get her home and into bed. The last few nights that we had spent together we had just fallen asleep after getting back to my place. Usually after the games that we win we all go out to eat and get a couple of beers, but tonight even tough we won I didn't want to go. I wanted to go home. There were more pressing things that I had on my mind tonight. I had an itch that needed to be scratched. However, Kelly had other ideas. She wanted to go out for beer. "Do you really want to stay out that late," I asked. "We won't stay long. I promise," she says. Four hours and way too many beers later she decides that we can go. I was in no condition to drive. It was a good thing that I wasn't on shift in the morning. Kelly got us home safely. I managed to make it to the bedroom by myself. I fell onto the bed and passed out. I woke up in the middle of the night with Kelly next to me. I needed a drink of water, so I eased out of bed trying not to wake her up. When I cam back to bed my luck wasn't so good. She turned over as I was easing back into bed. She pulled me close and covered her lips with mine. And then that was it she fell back asleep. * * * * * * * * * * * * "Kelly how could you let me drink that much the other night?" "I didn't know that I was supposed to keep an eye on you," she came back with. "Well, next time don't let me drink that much." I had noticed a pattern beginning with her behavior. We hadn't had sex in almost a week. She would plan whatever we were doing so that it was late and we were both so tired that it was the last thing on either of our minds. I was going to let it go for a while because I still had fun just being with her. We were out sitting by my pool. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon. "Did you still want to go with me out to my parents house tonight?" "That sounds like fun." Somehow she didn't seem that convincing. "Are you sure, you don't have to if you don't want to," I didn't want to force her to go somewhere she didn't really want to go. "I am not really in the mood for socializing today," Kelly wasn't sure how to tell her that this was all becoming too much, too much domestication. "That's okay, I have to leave in an hour so I need to go take a shower," I told her. "I am going to go ahead and leave then. I'll call you tomorrow." "Okay." I walked her to the front door where she gave me a light kiss on the cheek before leaving. I wasn't sure what to make of her sudden change in attitude. But if that's the way she wanted it, then so be it. I watched her walk to her car. She didn't look back like she usually did. I just shook my head and went on to the shower. An hour later I was sitting at my parents' kitchen table talking with mom as she finished up dinner. "Mom, is there something wrong with me?" "Alexandra, what would make you say that?" "Well, Kelly and I have been seeing each other for about three weeks now, and while it is way too soon for anything serious, I know that I like spending time with her, but the last couple of times we have gone out she seems like she doesn't want to be alone with me." "Maybe you should ask her." "I guess you're right. I just don't understand. Everything seemed to be going okay. I had asked her to join us tonight and at first she said yes and then when she was over this afternoon she changed her mind." "Alexandra, don't worry about it. If it's meant to be it will work out in the end, you are a bright, beautiful young woman, and you are very loving. One day you will find someone that wants that. Now help me set the table before everyone else get here." "Yes ma'am," I got up and did what I was told. Part of me knew that she was right but the other part really was wondering if maybe I did something wrong. But for now I put it out of my mind to concentrate on having a good time. Every time that we all got together we had a blast. Laughing so much that we would be crying and our sides would be hurting and tonight was no exception. As everyone was leaving my brother Kyle decides to ask me where Kelly was. "She didn't want to come with me," I told him. "Why, is she okay? Don't tell me that you two are already a thing of the past." "I am not sure Kyle, I thought everything was going fine, but who knows, I will never figure out women." Of all of my brothers I was closest to Kyle. We were closer in age than any of the rest. "You two looked like you really hit it off...she seems like a nice girl." "Yeah, I thought so too." "Well I will see you later...I think that I am going to go out for a drink." "Be careful." I watched him drive away. On my way home I decided to stop by and talk to Kelly. As I got to her house I parked along the curb and sat there for a minute. I could see lights on inside and it was still early, but something was keeping me from going to the door. Pulling away I decided that the night was still young so I thought I would go out to the club. I gave little thought to calling Kelly to ask her if she had changed her mind about socializing tonight. When I walked in the door at the club, I saw several familiar faces. "Alex, darling good to see you again...you look good enough to eat." "Maria, as always good to see you too." I had dated Maria several years ago. We had parted better friends than we were ever lovers. "Promise me a dance before the night is over." "Sure thing Maria," I said as I started moving away from her. I needed a drink. After ordering my drink I leaned back onto the bar and glanced around the room. The party was just getting started, people constantly flowing in from outside. I turned back to the bar to grab my drink, looking down the length of the bar I saw a very familiar face. I just shook my head and said so much for not feeling up to socializing tonight. Kelly must have felt my gaze because she turned and her eyes met mine. Even though she was a good distance away I could see her eyes widen from the shock. I just raised my beer and nodded to her. At the same time Maria came up to me and put her arm around my waist and pulled me out to the dance floor. I had no time to object. I felt Kelly's gaze all the way out to the dance floor. I shouldn't feel guilty about dancing with someone else but I did a little. Although, she was here after saying that she didn't feel like socializing tonight. I was going to assume for now that she meant with me. Oh well, there are many fishes in the sea. Thankfully the song that was playing was a fairly fast one and I didn't have to get too close to Maria, not that I minded of course. She was still a gorgeous woman, but I didn't need those complications too. "Who was that woman at the end of the bar that caught your attention Alex," Maria asked. "Just someone that I thought I was getting to know until today." "You know, there has got to be a girl out here for you somewhere Alex. One that is willing to put up with your schedule." "Well when you find her let me know because I am not having any luck." Without making it too obvious I looked around the room, I found Kelly still staring at me. After a couple of songs I told Maria that I needed another drink and headed to the bar. Maria stayed behind and started dancing with the next girl. As I was leaning on the bar I felt her come up behind me. "Alex, I..." Kelly began. "It's okay, Kelly, I understand that you didn't want to hang out with me. You know you could have just told me the truth. I am a big girl." I just looked at her for a second then shook my head and walked away. Maybe coming here was a bad idea. I headed for the door. "Alex...wait." I could hear Kelly calling out after me but I didn't stop until I got to my truck. When I got in I saw her coming across the parking lot towards me. I took off before she could get to me. I knew that I didn't have the right to expect anything from her but I thought that I at least deserved the truth. I was trying to convince my self that was all it was. I didn't understand what had changed. We got along great, we had started talking more, spending time together and the sex was out of this world. Once I got home and changed I fell onto the couch and turned the TV on. No use dwelling on it. I was just about to fall asleep when I heard a knock on the door. Without looking I knew who it was. "Go away," I yelled out. "Alex, please, can I at least explain it to you," I walked over to the door to open it. I turned and walked back to the couch leaving her standing at the door. She came in and sat down in the chair across from me. At first she just sat there without saying anything. "You know, words usually work in situations like this." I looked at her for the first time since she came in. She had been crying and despite how much I didn't like her right now it tore me apart. I just waited for her to talk. "Alex, I am sorry that I lied to you. But I wasn't sure how to talk to you about it without seeming like I was overreacting." She looked at me for what seemed to be reassurance to go on. I just nodded my head. "I didn't come here looking for a relationship. I came here looking to get over a rough period. I enjoy spending time with you and I do look forward to it. Perhaps too much." "And there's a problem with that?" "Yes," she started. "Well, gee thanks." "It's not you, and before you say anything else let me finish. You are a wonderful woman, I just don't want to lead you on, and have you thinking that we are developing something that I am not ready for," she stopped and looked at me. "So why didn't you just say something," I asked. "I don't believe that I am that impossible to get along with am I?" "No you are not hard to get along with, it's very fun being with you." "Okay, so you don't want a relationship?" "I would love to be friends, that is if you can forgive me." "I learned long ago not to hold grudges, they take way too much energy." "So where do we go from here?" "I am not sure, wherever you want I guess. Whatever friends do." "That sounds good," she said. The ringing of my phone interrupted the silence. "Hello," I picked up the receiver. "Ah, yes Maria, I am sorry that I ran out on you," I paused. "Dinner sounds good, tomorrow at 7, your place. See you then. Bye." "Is that the woman from the bar," Kelly asked. "Yeah, I have known Maria for years, used to date several years ago, she decided that we were better off friends," I paused for a minute. "I guess I need to figure out what is wrong with me because everybody just wants to be friends." I shook my head. "Alex, its not you. If I wasn't so messed up right now..." she trailed off. "Do you want to talk about it?" "I am not sure if you want to hear it." "Try me?" "About two years ago I met this woman and got mixed up with the wrong crowd. By that I mean drugs. Do you want me to go on?" "Only if you want to." "It might do me good to talk to someone that's not family. Growing up I was always the athletic type; I ran in track and was on the swim team. I was a good girl. I studied hard to make good grades, you know, the all American girl. Probably not much different than you. Anyway, I got hooked real bad. I was going to school for nursing. She was another student, and we quickly found that we had some things in common and it wasn't long before we were sharing an apartment and bed. She was having a hard time with all the studying, you know the late nights and things. She started messing with something and at the time I wasn't sure but I found out that it was cocaine. I was starting to have trouble keeping up, so she talked me into it. After a few times, I could see the difference. This went for about a year before it got really bad. Valerie got to the point that she would get up and do a line, it consumed her life. She ended up dropping out of school and laid around the house all day. I would get up and go to school all day, then straight to work. When I would finally get home around midnight she would still be in the bed or on the couch and I would have to clean up all the mess she left behind all day. When I would say something she would get angry with me. Yelling and cursing, she would pick up anything that was in reach and throw it, at first not at me but eventually it was. I started to stay over at a friend's house. Every now and then I would go home and it would be the same thing. Finally one night I went home and the place was such a mess, I found her in our bed with someone else. That didn't really bother me, I had been hoping that if I weren't around she would miss me and straighten out. I had stopped using by then. I started packing up my clothes; I had decided to leave everything else. She woke up and asked me what I was doing. I told her that I was leaving and wasn't coming back again." She stopped talking, I noticed the look in her eyes. It was almost detached. No emotion. "Would you like something to drink," I asked thinking that she needed a break. All she did was nod. By the time I got back from the kitchen I noticed some tears forming around her eyes. I told her that she didn't need to go on if she didn't want to. "No, I want to finish. She got up and, and tried to get me to stop packing. I wouldn't stop. She attacked me. All of the screaming woke up her friend, and then they beat me up pretty bad." She stopped again and started really crying. I got up and went over to her and pulled her to me. I just held her while she cried. "I thought I was over this, I thought that I was ready to move on." "I can't pretend to understand what you went through." "After the whole matter was settled in court my parents thought it was best if I got away. The reason that I am here at my aunt house." "It makes sense now, your aunt told me not to hurt you that night that I picked you up for dinner. I didn't understand what she meant." We sat there in silence for a while. I guess we nodded off. My arm was asleep. I gently got up. I picked Kelly up and put her in my bed, and pulled a blanket up over her. I went back to the couch grabbing a sheet out of the hall closet on my way. As I lay there on the couch I thought about everything that she said. I drifted off to sleep. The next morning I woke with one hell of a crick in my neck. I sat up and rolled my shoulders trying to work it out. "Why did you sleep on the couch?" I heard Kelly say from behind me. "I didn't want to crowd you," I said as I continued to rub my neck. "Do you want me to help you with that?" "No, I will be alright," I couldn't have her touch me. I understood what she wanted, but my body was not in tune with that. I still was very attracted to her and would like nothing else to take her to bed and make her forget all those memories of the past. She didn't say anything at first, but she walked around to sit in the chair. "Why won't you let me help you," she asked. I couldn't believe that she actually had to ask why. "You got that because you slept on the couch and let me kick you out of your own bed." "I will be alright. And I didn't let you kick me out, I made the choice to sleep here." I got up and walked to the kitchen to start some coffee. I noticed that I had a limp. "Now you are limping! What the hell Alex? Why do you have to be so stubborn? Why don't you want me to help?" "It's not that I don't want the help Kelly. I can't handle you touching me." "You mean you don't want me touching you. Is that it? "Oh no its not that...I can't handle you touching me, I remember very well what those hands are capable of. I am only human. And if all you want is friendship, you can't touch me." "Oh..." she started. "OH." The light finally went on. "So do you want some coffee?" I needed to change the subject. "Um... yeah, I'll take a cup." She was staring at her hands that she had clasped together on the counter. "Thanks for last night, it felt good to talk." "Yeah sure no problem." My pager decided to go off at that minute. It was an emergency page from my captain. "Hold on." I picked up the phone and dialed her office. "What's up cap?" I listened for a minute. "I'll be right in." I hung up the phone. "Well I hate to cut this short but I have to go." "Is everything okay?" "I am not sure, can you lock the door on your way out, I have to get a shower." "Sure." She said as I was walking away. Twenty minutes later I walked back in the kitchen. I was surprised to find Kelly still here. "Oops, sorry I didn't think that you would still be here." I had walked in with just my sports bra and slacks on. "I needed to cut the tag off my shirt." I held up the shirt that was in my hand. "That's okay, I just wanted to make sure that you know that I appreciated last night." I listened to her, while I put the tank on. I put on the button down shirt and after tucking it in, I put on my belt and holster. I slipped on my badge. I felt her watching me the whole time. "Well look, I need to get going." We walked towards the door. "Don't worry about last night. That's what friends are for right?" "I guess I will see you around," she said as she opened her car door. "Yeah" I watched as she got in her car to leave. I headed in to work. When I walked into the station my captain was evidently waiting on me. I didn't even have time to make myself another cup of coffee. "What's up?" "Sebring, nice of you to make it. I just needed a body. Dayton and Smith are out with family emergencies and Lopez failed her firearms certification today." "Oh, no problem, you got me out of an uncomfortable situation anyway," I told her. "Oh, yeah." I sat there and told her all about it. Right up to the point where she called. "Alex, one of these days you will find someone." "Yeah, I know, but I'm not getting any younger." I shook my head. "So what's on the agenda for today?" "Well we have that robbery that we need to chase down some leads on. The guy is getting good. He leaves less and less evidence each time. So far he hasn't hurt anybody, I hope we can catch him before he escalates." "I will look through what evidence we do have and make out a list of people to go interview again." The rest of the day I sat there just looking at all we had put together already. * * * * * * * * * Monday morning Kelly was standing at the nurse's station going over her charts when Stacy walked up. "Kelly, how are you," Stacy asked. "You look like hell." "Gee, thanks. I had a rough weekend." "Want to talk about it?" "No." "Well, I tried to warn you about her, but you wouldn't listen," Stacy said. "Would you just shut up? You have ignored me for over two weeks, well really ever since I had started seeing Alex, now you want to talk to me?" "Kelly..." Stacy heard, but Kelly didn't wait to see what she was going to say. Stacy decided that she would go see Alex at lunch. A few hours later that's exactly where she was. "Alex, you got a minute," Stacy asked. "Yeah, I guess. Lets go in there." I pointed to the empty office behind me. I walked in behind her and closed the door. "What's up?" "What happened with Kelly, she looks like shit." "Stacy, you better ask her." "What do you mean?" "She's told me to take a hike." "No she didn't." "Believe what you want to." I sat down at the table and Stacy followed me. "What happened, you two looked like you were getting close?" "I suppose that was the problem. She didn't want that," I said. "I am not going to go into details but that's what happened." Stacy just shook her head. "I don't understand Alex." She just stared at me. "You have the worst luck." "I don't understand either, maybe there is something wrong with me. I think that I will try to get away for a few days. Clear my head and maybe figure out what's wrong with me." "Alex, there is nothing wrong with you. Hell, you work hard, good personality and sense of humor, and you are a beautiful woman. Any girl would be lucky to be with you." "Keep talking to me like that I might think that you had ideas." This caused us both to laugh. "The right one will come along I know, that's what mom keeps saying anyway." "Did Joe tell you that we went on a date finally? I know I had a good time, I think that he did. We are going out again this Friday." "I haven't talked to him in a couple of days, I am happy for you. Well look, I need to get back to work," I said as I stood up. "And just so you know she does really look like shit, maybe she will come around." "Maybe," All I could do was shrug my shoulders. As soon as Stacy left I picked up the phone to call Joe and get the low down. She had been after him for years with no luck. I sat there listening to him say that she finally wore him down and that he wasn't getting any younger and that they actually had a lot in common. I told him that I was happy for him and that I hoped things worked out. My next call was to my parents to see if our cabin at the beach was stocked for a weekend. That call didn't go as well. My mom wanted to know why I wanted to go up there by myself. I tried to tell her without getting into any details. She finally told me that I would need to go to the store. After a talk with the captain, I had a few days off. On my way home from work I stopped at the store and got a few things that I thought that I might need. I had the car almost packed and ready go when a knock came at the door. I grabbed my bag and headed for it. Hoping that whoever was on the other side would get the hint that I wasn't sticking around. "Kelly, what are you doing here?" I was surprised to see her. "I just wanted to come by and see how you were doing, it looks like you are going somewhere." She pointed to the bag in my hand. "Yeah, I will be out of town for a couple days." I didn't want her to know that I was really having a hard time dealing with her rejection, so I didn't explain further. "That's a nice car you have there." She pointed at my car. "Yeah, I take it on long trips, better on gas mileage." "I don't remember seeing it here before." "I keep it at Kyle's house. He has a four-car garage out back...for all his toys." "Well I guess I won't keep you. Call me when you get back, maybe we can get coffee or something." "Yeah sure." I just couldn't understand her. One minute she's telling me that she doesn't want a relationship and then now she is asking me out for coffee. I walked to my car and put my bag in the trunk. "See ya," I said before getting in and driving away. I kept seeing her face in the rear view mirror as I drove away. It almost looked as though she was having a change of heart. I wanted to turn around and go to her. But I didn't, I kept driving. * * * * * * * * * * * * At work the next day Kelly was sitting in the break room staring out the window ignoring everything around her. She was trying to figure out why the way Alex acted last night was bothering her. This is what she asked for. "Kelly," Sara said trying to get her attention. "Kelly." "Oh...I'm sorry Sara, I was lost in thought." "I see that. You want to talk?" "I told Alex that I wasn't ready for a relationship and I think that I was wrong." "What makes you say that?" "I miss her terribly. I told her Saturday night. I went over to talk to her last night and she was leaving town, said that she was going away for a few days." "She didn't say where she was going," Sara asked. "No, and she didn't say when she would be back either. Sara, I love being around her, she is just so addicting." Kelly went on to explain her recent past, the same story she had told Alex Saturday night. "Wow, that was a lot to overcome. It sounds as if you are afraid to trust her." "Trust is an issue for me with anyone, and I am not saying that I don't think that I can trust her, I am just afraid to let go again." "And that is understandable after what you went through." "What should I do?" "Use this time that she is gone to think about what you want. Make sure of what you want. Casey has said that Alex is a great woman, I don't know her well enough to say, but if Casey says it then it must be true," Sara said. "Okay, thank you for talking to me." "No problem, that's what friends are for. Well I gotta run." "Okay talk to ya later." Kelly continued to sit there until it was time for her to go back to work. She was going to take Sara's advice and think about things while Alex was gone. As she was walking up the nurse's station she heard Stacy on the phone. She stood back to listen for a minute. "Joe how long is she going to be gone, this is not like her...I feel bad for her, the last few girls that she has started seeing have said that they just want to be friends...Joe we need to help her...Well maybe you're right, I guess we should stay out of it...I heard that she went to dinner at Maria's house. I don't know how she could be civil with that one. She was one of the worst...alright, I will see you tonight. Bye." Stacy hung up the phone and Kelly walked up to the desk. She acted like she didn't hear any of it. Stacy turned and saw Kelly standing there. All she did was nod and walk away. Kelly thought that they were not going to be able to work like this. Sometime soon they were going to have to try to get along. * * * * * * * * * * * * I spent the next few days at the cabin doing some thinking. I concluded that there was nothing wrong with me, just my choice of women, and very bad timing. I had thought about going back on Thursday but decided to stay for a few more days. I put a call into work and arranged to have the rest of the week of. That gave me another 6 days off. I was sitting out back on the porch listening to the waves hit the shore, when I heard a dog bark. I could see someone coming around the corner of the house. When they got closer I saw who it was. "Well, well Lt. Peterson, to what do I owe this pleasure," I said. "You look amazing Alex." "You do too Blair," I got up and met her at the stairs and pulled her into a hug. "I heard you were here, so I had to come find out myself. You only come out here when you are having trouble with the girls." We still had not pulled away from each other. There had always been an underlying chemistry between us, but the time was never right for us to explore it. One of us was always in a relationship. "You know me so well." I finally pulled back to look at her. "Would you like a drink?" "What I would like you to tell me is that you just broke it off with someone and are as free as I am so we can finally be together?" "I can't say that really." "What's that supposed to mean? Come on Alex," "Well, after three weeks of getting to know each other and having a good time being together and did I mention great sex, she decides that she wants to be just friends." "Well it sounds like it's her loss. You started caring didn't you?" "As much as I don't want to admit it, yeah I did. I just don't know what to do." I pulled away and went back to my chair and sat down. I explained what happened the night Kelly told me the news. "That makes it worse that she lied to you. I know you enough that I know that pisses you off." "Not really, she really doesn't know me well enough to know that lying to me is not a good thing." "Now that you have dashed my hopes, and other than Kelly, how are you doing," Blair asked as she sat down in the chair next to mine. "I am doing good, the parents are doing good." We sat and talked for a couple of hours before she started to yawn. "Well I better get going. How much longer are you going to be here?" "Another few days." "I'll come by again tomorrow." As I watched Blair get up to leave I wondered what was stopping me from taking her to bed. I know that's what we both wanted. I think she read my mind. "Because it's not the right time again and you know it." "I suppose you are right." "You know I am. If this girl didn't upset you like she did you wouldn't even be here, that means you care, even only if it's a little bit." She walked over to me and gave me a hug. We both held on a little longer than we should have. We started to pull away and I wanted to kiss her, but she put her fingers over my mouth, she shook her head and then walked away. I watched her til she turned the corner. * * * * * * * * * * * * When I got home I buried myself in work trying to catch a thief. When Thursday came around I didn't think of the game that night. I went like I always did. I was in the outfield running the fence before the game when I saw her walk up and take a seat in the bleachers. I was hoping that Kelly wasn't going to come but she did. As I was making my way into the dugout I heard someone call my name. "Aunt Alex, come here." The only person who called me that was Dylan, Maria's little boy. As I came out of the dugout he came running up to me. "Hey there big guy," I leaned over to pick him up. "Boy you have gotten big. How old are you now?" He held up five fingers. "Where is your mom? Does she know you ran off like this?" "Oh, yeah I know. I couldn't keep up with him. I promised him that I would bring him to see you since you didn't make dinner the other night. Steve is parking the car." "It's good to see you big guy, but I have to go play now." I put him down; as I was standing back up I saw that Kelly was watching me. "Hit me a home run Aunt Alex." "I will do my best kiddo." I walked back to the dugout without saying anything to Kelly. It was about the fifth inning when Maria came to the side of the dugout and I could see that Dylan had fallen asleep on her. "Alex, we are going to go, he just couldn't make it," She lowered her voice a little, "She has been staring at you all night, maybe you should go talk to her. It wouldn't hurt. She was working magic with this little guy." "Maybe, thanks for coming, and bringing him. I shouldn't stay gone so long next time. Tell Steve I said hello." I watched them walk away. I looked at Kelly and we stared at each other for a minute. I finally turned and went back to what was left of the game. Afterward I decided that I was going to go straight home. I didn't go with the team for our usual after game party. When I got to my truck I just threw my stuff in the back and drove off before anyone could stop me. I got to the house and had just enough time to take a shower before I heard the knock on the door. I figured she would come over. I shook my head and answered the door. I just looked at her waiting for her to say something. "Can we talk," she finally asked. "There is nothing to talk about." I said but turned to walk to the living room, leaving her at the open door. "Alex why are you being like this?" "I did some thinking while I was away, and while I acted like it didn't bother me, it did. It's not what you said, it's how you approached it." I stopped talking and looked at her, she was nodding. I noticed that her eyes were growing moist. I was leaning on the back of the couch and she came and stood in front of me. Before I realized what had happened she was kissing me. At first I resisted and then I gave in, parting my lips. My body was betraying my mind. My mind was saying no but my body was telling me something else. I wanted her. I put my arms around her and pulled her close so that she was lying against me. It felt good to kiss her; I missed it, the way it felt when our bodies pressed against each other. We were made to be like this. I pulled away before it could go any further. "Don't start something that you aren't going to finish," I whispered. "I want to finish it, if you will let me." She whispered back as she was lowering her mouth to mine again. I met her halfway. I sure wasn't going to stop her, I would ask her later what changed her mind. I stood all the way up and started walking her backwards down the hall towards the bedroom, never breaking our kiss. By the time we got to the bed we had our clothes gone and out of the way. I stopped when I could tell that the back of her knees hit the bed. "If you want to stop this, you better do it now," I said to her giving her one more time to stop. She shook her head no and out her arms around my neck. "I don't want to stop, please don't stop." She sat back on the bed pulling me with her. Her hands went to my ass to pull me into her. I could feel her fingernails scraping along the crease of my ass. I leaned down and started sucking one of her nipples into my mouth before going to the other one I drug my teeth across it causing her to moan. Her hands were on my ass trying to pull me in closer to her. Letting her now hardened nipple pop out of my mouth I kissed her neck and down to her other nipple and sucked on it. She wrapped her legs around my waist. I felt her wetness against my abdomen. She started pushing up rubbing against me. I understood what she was trying to say and moved my hips with hers. The friction felt so good. I grabbed her wrists and moved them over her head and held them down. With my other hand I massaged her breast and ran my thumb over her nipple before pinching it slightly. When I let go of her hands she put them on the back of my head and pulled my face to hers and covered my lips with hers. I broke away from her and starting moving my way down her body. I could see her hands clutching the sheets as she started grinding her hips onto my face. I pushed two fingers inside her and sucked her clit into my mouth. As I would push my fingers in she would push her hips down on them. I let go of her clit and started licking everywhere but her clit. I watched as she let go of the sheets and moved her hands to her breasts. I watched her pinch and pull on her nipples. I increased the speed of my fingers and concentrated on her clit with my tongue. "Alex...please," she breathed out. Hearing her breathing become more ragged I sucked her clit into my mouth again and flicked the end of my tongue over it, over and over again. I curled my fingers that were inside of her to reach that spot, and I must have hit because her hips came up off the bed and I had to move with her so that I wouldn't lose contact with her. "Oh...fuck yes," she cried out as she came. I didn't stop until her hips were back on the bed. I crawled up beside her and I laid down half on her and half off and she put her arms around me and lifted her head to kiss me. Only to pull back slightly and pull my lower lip into her mouth and suck on it and then bite it gently before pushing her tongue back into my mouth. We lay there kissing and moving our hands over each other for a while. She must have got some of her strength back because she pushed me over to my back and straddled my waist placing her knees on either side of me. She never stopped kissing me. Her hands went to my breasts and she started massaging them, and pulling on my nipples. Kelly moved her hands on down my body and over my hips. We had to finally break the kiss for air. I was lost in the feeling of her hands running all over me. I finally felt her breath on my wet pussy. I groaned and she plunged her tongue into my sex. I pushed my hips up towards her. She put her hands on the inside of my thighs and pushed my legs further apart. I could feel my juices running down the crack of my ass, and then I felt her tongue on my ass licking me. My muscles relaxed as she worked her tongue inside my ass. I felt her wiggle her tongue inside me...I felt myself have a mini orgasm right then. Kelly realized this and pulled her tongue out of my ass to lick up all the juices that were flowing out of me. I felt her finger work its way inside of my ass as her tongue went to my clit and she sucked it into her mouth. She worked another finger in my ass and was working them in and out. I felt my own muscles start clinching her fingers. "Please.... oh fuck..." I screamed out as she sucked my clit harder. I had the sheets clenched in my hands and my hips were coming up off the bed. It hit me so hard that I couldn't breathe, and my stomach muscles clenched so much that it brought me up to a sitting position. I wanted to pull her head away from me and keep it there all at the same time. When I could finally breathe again I pushed her face away. I was too sensitive and couldn't take anymore. Kelly got up on her knees and took me in her arms and we lay back on the bed together. We lay there for what seemed like forever. I figured she would talk when she got ready to. I just lay there thinking that I had really missed her beside me, missed her kisses and touches. In my time away I realized that I had come to care for her a lot. It had hurt when she said that she didn't want a relationship. I was almost about to doze off when I heard her whisper something. "I'm sorry." "Regrets already huh, couldn't even wait til morning." "No, not about this. About pushing you away in the first place. I am sorry for doing that." "Why did you," I asked. "Because I was getting too attached to you. In my mind I wasn't ready for that. At least that's what I thought, until I didn't see or talk to you in over a week. That made me realize that I needed those things. I know we haven't known each for very long but I have started to care for you. That scares the shit out of me." "I know how you feel." "You do?" "Yeah, but for both of our sakes I think that we need to slow down and take it one day at a time. I don't know if I can handle you doing that to me again." I heard the little catch in my voice, I was hoping that she hadn't. But she did. "Oh, baby, I won't. If I have a problem I will come to you to talk about it." While she was talking I used my hand to lift her face so that I could look into her eyes. "Good." I kissed her. "I have a question about Maria." "Maria and I dated along time ago. She met and fell for her husband Steve, got married and had a baby. We had a rough time, or rather she had a rough time coming to terms that she was in love with Steve. She was more worried about what it was doing to me than anything. I couldn't stay mad at her for being happy." "Are you working this weekend, I can't remember?" "No, off for the weekend." "I took tomorrow off. Can we spend the day together?" "Wouldn't have it any other way." I smiled and kissed her again, this time a little more forceful. I wanted her again. We made love several more times before falling asleep. I woke up the next morning with Kelly beside me. I just stared at her for a while. I was thankful that she had changed her mind. She looked so peaceful sleeping. I watched as she starting waking up. As soon as she had her eyes opened and was looking at me she smiled. "Morning baby," she whispered. I turned over on my side and put my arm over her to pull her to me. "Morning to you too, beautiful." I leaned over to give her a kiss. We settled into each other. "What do you want to do today?" "I don't care as long as I am with you. We could lay here in bed all day and I wouldn't care." "As much fun as that sounds I don't think that I could lay here that long." She was now lying on top of me. She lowered her head to kiss me. At first it was a light good morning kiss but it quickly turned into something else. An hour later we were standing in the shower. We were talking about what we were going to do. "I need a pedicure," I said as I was looking at my toes. "I could use one too." She also looked at her feet. When she looked back at me, she was smiling. "I missed that smile," I said as I pulled her to me. Our wet bodies slipped against each other, I could tell that we weren't leaving the house anytime soon. * * * * * * * * * * * * Kelly and I started spending every night together. After work we would make dinner and watch some TV and then go to bed together. I gave her a key so that she would have a way of getting in the house just in case she beat me home. She usually did, tonight was no different. I pulled in the drive and parked next to her car. And sat there and thought for a minute. She was practically living with me. I had moved some things in my closet so that she could have room to hang her uniforms and she had taken over a few drawers in the dresser. Neither of us had expressed our feelings to each other but I suspected that she was in love with me, just like I was with her. I think that we were both afraid to let that last little bit go. I looked forward to coming home to her every night and waking up next to her every morning. There for a while it was hard trusting that she wouldn't just up and decide that she didn't want a relationship. It had been 6 months since that happened and she kept her promise that if she was having a problem she would come to me. We always managed to work them out. All of a sudden I got the overwhelming urge to tell her how I felt. I didn't want to wait anymore. I jumped out of the truck and walked in. "Baby, I'm home." juli Any comments or suggestions are welcome and may be sent to GrreenPanda@aol.com. I will try to answer all.
