So let me know what you think at Jasm5326@live.com. This story is pure fiction, any similarties to anyone living or dead is unintentional. I couldn't believe it was really her. Jaylene Walker, the 5'10" girl of my dreams was standing in my English Compostion class. The first tought that went through my mind was that it couldn't be her. I stood there dumbfounded. I then decided to approach the beauty and see if it was really her. When I finally approached her, I quickly gathered my nerves and said "Hi. I'm Kia. Are you new here or am just noticing you?" She looked at me in complete shock and said, "Kia is that really you?" Jay jumped up (well more liked jumped down, I'm only 5'6") and hugged me almost crushing me into her tall muscular frame. "It's great to see you Jay," I choked,"now could you please let me go." "Oh, I'm so sorry Kia, I'm just so happy to see you" "It's okay Jay, how have you been?" I slowly dirifted back to my memories of high school, when my bitter ex-girlfriend Amber outed me when I dumped her clingy ass. All of a sudden I went from one of the in crowd to the butt of everybody's jokes. Jay on the other hand was always there for me and stuck by my side, even though it killed her social life. "I really missed you Kia. Once you graduated, things kinda got worse for me. I got made fun of more, and beat up a couple of times. I was so glad when I graduated and got my scholarship." "Damn, Jay you should've called me and-" "-and tell you what Kia? You were 2 hours away." Just then the professor walked in. Jay and I found seats in the back as he went through the syallabus. I took out my notebook and wrote on a piece of paper. "Jay, I'm sorry." I passed her the note. She read it, wrote something back and passed it back to me. "For what" "For not being there" "You make it sound like they did somthing to me" "What are you talking about Jay?" "Kia, I won those fights. Come on. Have you ever seen me lose a fight?" "No, but Ive never seen you with a man either. Doesn't mean you're gay" When she read that she stopped writing me. I took out another piece of paper, and wrote: "Something I said?" She read the note, took a deep breath and wrote: "No, I was just thinking about something" "Well stop thinking and pay attention. I need your brain to pass this class." "Lol. I still can't believe you're a sophmore and just taking Comp 1" "I'm not good with school. You know that" "so what'd you take last year. Bowling?" "Ummmmm....." "Kia you haven't changed a bit. Do you have any classes after this?" "Yeah but it's from 6-9. I've gotta break in the new kid at the campus grille." "Did you meet them yet?" "No. Why?" "You're looking at her." I had to hold in a laugh when I read that last part. Just then the proffessor released the class. I caught up with Jay outside. "So the dynamic duo are back at it again?" "Hell yeah, but Kia, one catch." "What is it Jay" "I don't wanna be friends." And with that Jay walked away, leaving me in total shock. Did I just find and lose my best friend in one day? Comments welcome, flames ignored! Let me know what you think should be in the next chapter, it will be a great deal longer than this one.
